Graham seemed to freeze to the spot as Ace reached up, taking his hand in her own. He bit his lip for a moment before she stepped forwards slightly, kissing him firmly on the lips. Before he could think about what was happening he had her in his arms, deepening the kiss.

"They've been a while." Ian smirked slightly as Kate sat next to him in the office. Kate raised an eyebrow. "I hope they are alright. I mean, Ace did seem upset."
"She did." Tegan agreed as she watched the image on the computerised wall change.
"Maybe one of us should step out. Check on them. I mean I would hate for Ace to be alone and upset." Ian continued as Yaz and Dan smirked.
"I think we can leave them to it, if I'm honest. I'm more worried about the Doc, up there with an army of Mr Potato Heads." Dan folded his arms. "I mean, she does tend to go off on 'er own."
"True." Yaz rolled her eyes.
"But she's been gone a while. I mean, think about it. We are down 'ere not really knowing what we are doing but she is up there doing who knows what."
"She's fine." Ten stated.
"And you would know, how exactly?"
"Same person remember." Ten pulled his glasses back over his eyes. "If she had regenerated then I wouldn't be here."
"Silver lining to everything." Kate huffed as Ten shot her a look.
"Oi!"
"Oh come on." Tegan huffed. "We have enough to deal with without arguing amongst ourselves. Can we focus please? Sontaran fleet encasing the planet. No real idea what they want and how they are going to attack."
"She's right." Kate huffed. "Can we please focus?"

Thirteen stepped forwards, her hearts pounding as she stepped into what appeared to be a deserted corridor. She knew she had done the right thing leaving the others back on Earth. Kate and the others were the only line of defence the planet had, if she died, If she got caught then there was nothing she would be able to do to help. She scrunched her face up wondering if her past self, who she had also left behind was vulnerable if she was. If she Regenerated or got dragged off with the Judoon again would he vanish too? She pushed the thought out of her mind as she walked forwards. Turning left she entered a small room encased in metal walls, each one reflecting her image back at her. An alarm sounded in the distance as she cursed under her breath before running as fast as she could in the opposite direction.

"I." Graham blinked as Ace pulled back, her arms now slipping from around his neck. "You ok?"
She nodded. "You?"
"Yeah." He let out a sigh of relief. "I."
"That was."
"Yeah."
"Ace I."
"I, we well." She suddenly felt like a teenage girl again, kissing her crush for the first time as Graham watched her. "We should?"
"Yeah." Graham paused. "I. You didn't slap me."
"No." Ace smirked. "I didn't."
"Did you want to?" Graham knew he was on thin ice.
Ace shrugged. "Keep asking stupid questions and I might."
"So? We're ok?"
"Yes." She turned to him. "You are taking me out on a proper date after all this nonsense is over." She walked away as Graham's jaw dropped open. She turned to see him watching her as she reached the door. "Get your coat, you pulled." She laughed as he smiled at her. "Now maybe we should go deal with the Sontarans now? Before Kate gives us the sack."
"Yeah. I er yeah." He made to follow her as Ace left the room.
