Tegan sighed as Graham looked at her. He knew she loved Ace like a younger sister but the way she was acting was beginning to worry him.
"Tegan? What is it love?"
"Ace."
"What about her?" He asked as he glanced around the room. The whole team seemed to have abandoned them - probably trying to find out what the Doctors were up against now. "She's ok. Isn't she?"
"No."
"Well? What is it? What can I do?"
"Has she told you about Mike?"
"Mike?"
"She loved him. Still does I think. Like you, she's a widow." Tegan sighed. "I've known that girl almost all her adult life. She shuts people out. Always has done. Protects her heart that way, I suppose."
"Tegan, no offence love. But why you telling me all this?"
"Because you and her." Tegan sighed. "Cut from the same cloth. I see it. I know Yaz and the others do too. You are falling for her but you think there's something wrong with that. That you're betraying your wife."
"Grace." Graham looked away. "Her name is Grace."
"And she died."
"Yeah." He sighed. "Yeah and it were my fault an all. I should've protected her. I'm her husband. I'm supposed to be the protector aren't I? Look after me family? Her and Ryan?"
"And you think it's your fault that she died?"
"No." He glared. "It's Tim Shaw's fault. Tim Shaw of the Stenza. He killed her. I just didn't stop him." Tears filled his eyes as Tegan took his hand.
"And if it were Grace here now? Do you think that she would be wanting you to feel like this? That she would want you to be miserable?"
"Nah."
"And Grace would want you to be happy- even if it meant that you were with Ace?"
Graham sighed, wiping away a tear.
"I'll tell you what I told Ace. Life is short. Too short and can end tomorrow. We just don't know when it will be or how. So grab every bit of love and happiness that comes to you. You never know, Mike and Grace may be out there somewhere in the ether pushing you two together." She squeezed his hand as she stood up. "Saying all that. You hurt my friend and you'll pray for a Dalek to exterminate you before I can get to you."
Graham chuckled as Tegan shot him a look. He nodded.
"I'd rather die than hurt that girl."
"Then tell her how much she means to you. While you still can."

"The poison sky plan. All over again? I'll give these Sontarans something, they don't give up." Donna pushed her foot down on the accelerator as Martha looked at her laptop.
"And not very original."
"War." Ryan shrugged. "That's all they want. When I was in Peru there was talk of the sky changing. That the air was getting thicker."
"It will if they smother the ozone layer." Martha answered as Donna swung the car into the next lane.
"Yeah well, we'll see about that."
