I AM YOU: Oh damn, the guy who is drawing a comic of one of my favourite duels of all time is reading my fic? Sweet! I am glad that you are enjoying this fic, I have to also agree that the start is rough around the edges, but the later series is also pretty decent. Thanks, the duels I want to make is to make a fair back and forth as I think they are more fun to write and read. What can I say? I love me some references, even the niche ones, like SUPER niche ones. Oh, I am kcuf-ad, the one that used to comment on your comic.

I AM YOU: I have cooked up a masterpiece (IMO) that is Kite vs Chazz, which is in my top 5 favourite duels that I have written. Chazz is such a fun character to write duels for. That is also one of my favourite filler episodes, but not my all time favourite filler episode. I also think that they didn't do enough with that premise, so I will write more about it in Season 4. A little fanservice doesn't hurt anybody as long as it isn't shoved down your throat. Those two duels are pretty fun to read and write, even if they were difficult to structure.

Guest: I might add them, but I am not fully sure if I am going to add them.

It has been a week ever since the duels between Celina and Skye, and Chazz and Sorano, and it was going smoothly ever since. Sure it was kind of weird and awkward to have two new members in the span of two days, but it wasn't a bad thing. It was just a tiny bit weird and shocking, but hey! New additions to the crew!

Surely this won't be a trend for this group…right?

Anyway, it has been a week since those duels happened, and it was going pretty well. For starters, they have been introduced to Skye Zaizen, a friend of Alexis, which they were kind of shocked by, but it wasn't a bad thing, just kind of shocking to know. They talked about how they first met in middle school and then it was all smooth sailing, but they did have to talk about them moving to a different city since Akira, Skye's older brother, had gotten a new job there.

What was interesting to know that they also have a friend that they couldn't reach out for, which confused them on why was that, and it was Declan Akaba, which they did hear the same of the son of the principal of the LID or Leo's Institute of Dueling, the second most popular dueling school on the planet, which they were at least happy that he is doing somewhat well, but it would be better if they met, at least once.

Celina did like that they finally weren't the only girls in the group and had a fun time hanging out with her, Yusuke was interested in of more of their background which it was kind of weird, but they didn't mind it, Hassleberry automatically accepted her into the 'platoon' like any good soldier would, Syrus didn't mind her as long as she isn't as annoying as Hassleberry or like Chazz, Chazz was annoyed that she also founded his nickname stupid (why does everyone say that?), Bastion was kind of shocked that there are so many people joining in that short amount of time and Jaden, being Jaden, automatically in the group.

It felt nice to Skye that she has been accepted in the group, especially after kind of being alone for a while now, but she did like this feeling of having new friends.

Not to mention, thanks to the new news of being able to modify your outfit, Alexis was the one that changed her uniform first. She wore an Obelisk Blue jacket that went down like a cape, similar to Zane's, with her wearing black jeans. Poor Yusuke, couldn't think straight for a day after seeing that.

They did things that every friend group do. Watch some shows like the masterpiece that is the Black Clover anime, some movies like the masterpiece that is the Sword Of The Wizard King, read some manga like the masterpiece that is the Black Clover manga(A/N: Can you tell I love Black Clover?), but they did do other things like stop Syrus and Chazz from brutally killing each other every day, trying to think on what kind of crack head island they are when they are running away from some monkeys and Tarzan, and watched some duels.

You know, the casual Duel Academy experience.

Skye wonders if this is the weirdest thing they have done. The crew, sans Hassleberry as he was also confused as they looked at each other, looked at each other and thought how innocent she was. This isn't even in the top 10 weirdest things that have happened.

Skye and Hassleberry sit on one of the tables thinking was it a mistake joining this school.

Also, after the duel between Sorano and Chazz, Chazz thought to himself that this run of the mill boring place with cockroaches in the wall and the mice doesn't deserve to have him in there, but isn't going to be an Obelisk Blue. So he decided to the sensible thing.

He called a construction group that the Princeton family use from time to time to build a new mansion so they could live in, that they go on this island, Academy Island, and build a mini house/mansion around the Slifer Red dorms that only he, and the crew, can go in. Was this legal?

Probably not, but if they can have monkey experiments, students stealing sandwiches and cards, taking and stealing the King Of Game's deck, and having a group of teens save the world from an evil organization was somehow legal, then why can't this be legal?

From what they have heard from Chazz, this will be over in a few weeks, which would be interesting to see honestly and they can't wait. He also said that a way that they can enter is thanks to a fingerprinting scan, in which it would shock anyone that isn't allowed in it. Syrus begins sweating cause he knows that his ass is not getting accepted by Chazz of all people.

But there was something that has been kind of stressing Jaden honestly, which is understandable. During his duel against Hassleberry, in which they first met, he didn't notice two boys watching him duel, one short and one of average height, in which they have shown themselves as they began calling Jaden one of the coolest people they have met because of the way he duels, which they can stop fanboying about him.

So what was the problem?

They couldn't stop bothering him! Not once! Almost every time he is alone, they jump out of nowhere and try to bother him as much as humanly possible, which really quickly got under Jaden's skin, which was an accomplishment.

From what Jaden could tell them, it was an Obelisk Blue and a Ra Yellow, with two different colours of hair and eyes as that was the only thing he could say before falling asleep due to exhaustion.

They really felt bad for Jaden after this because, who wouldn't? The man was dead tired, like the boy couldn't wake up until after class was over. What were they doing to him?

They will find out shortly, as Jaden woke up to the sound of Celina nearly breaking his door with a single tap. How strong was that woman? "Oi, wake your ass up! You are going to be late!" she yelled as the boy was confused on one thing.

"Wait, where are Sy and Hassleberry?" he said as he looked around to see noone in his room.

"Oh, them? They tried waking you up, but they realize that is like waking up a panda, which was impossible, so they began running to class." Celina answered his question as she could hear him trying to get his clothes and jacket.

"So why are you here?!" he asked her as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Honestly, because I felt bad for you. That is the only reason, so I hope you can get there in time because you have like 10 minutes!" she yelled as Jaden opened his door to see her face.

"Aren't you also going to be late?" he asked Celina as she laughed.

"Who? Me? Nah." Celina said as she jumped off the rail and began sprinting towards the school building like she was Usain Bolt.

"Well dang." he said as he closed the door, began dressing up, drank a whole gallon of milk and then placed cereal in his mouth, as he drank all of it as it was his fast version of a cereal. He then began running towards the main building.

"Hey Coach J!" yelled one of the voices as his eyes widened.

"Oh no." he thought as he turned around to see the two boys running towards him.

The one who yelled out his nickname was a short boy as his hair was a light shade of blue, with the hair cut being a mixture of a bowl cut and a pony tail, as his eyes were green. He wore the standard Obelisk Blue outfit, but the jacket was open with him wearing a black shirt on, with his pants being grey and he wore white socks with brown shoes. His name was Sora Perse.

The other was a boy with tall orange hair which went around his face as it resembles that of a carrot, as his eyes were dark purple, with his wearing a standard Ra Yellow outfit, but with a few changes. Firstly, he wore a purple shirt underneath with a necklace with a red ball, as his pants were dark leather with dark shoes. His name was Ray Shadows

"Hey, man, I see you are kind of late to school, so we wanted to help you!" said Ray with an enthusiastic smile on his face as Jaden tried to keep his composure right.

"Ohm, yeah, but don't worry, I got this!" he said as he tried to run away, but Sora and Ray stopped him in his tracks.

"Wait, come on Coach J, we want to help you! We don't want you to be late because you overslept, so let us help you!" said Sora as he tried his hardest to make Jaden agree with him, and after a second of thinking about it, he agrees.

"Great! Lead the way, Ray!" he yelled as Ray took ahold of Jaden's arm as he began running.

"I am going to show you the Ray way!" yelled Ray as Jaden's eyes widened when he saw where he was going.

"Oh no, not the forest!" he yelled as the three began running towards the forest with the boy getting hurt alot in the process. This is going to be painful for him.

INTRO!

(A/N: Play Guess Who's Back From Black Clover.)

We're being guided far away.

A bird was seen flying above the dark blue ocean of an island as it was going faster and faster.

Until we shatter the road of light and darkness

The bird flew higher and higher as it went upwards revealing the island to be Duel Academy as Jaden, Celina, Syrus, Chazz, Bastion, Alexis and Yusuke were standing on the cliff staring at the island.

Then a brief montage of their ace monsters appeared on the screen one by one as they were: Elemental HERO Flame Wingman, Lunalight Cat Dancer, Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill, Armed Dragon LV10, Water Dragon, Cyber Angel Amaterasu and Honest.

Yo guess who's back, everybody get down!

As then a brief montage appeared of a white background and black figures. The figures quickly revealed themselves to be: Bastion, Yusuke, Chazz, Alexis, Syrus, Kite, Dennis…

…Hassleberry, Sora Perse, Ray, Skye…

Hey, step up! step up!

…Zane and Celina, as then we get a close up shot at Jaden whose eyes turned to amber for a slight second as Aster Phoenix briefly shined in his eye.

As then a title card appeared by the name of "Yugioh GX: Rewrite - The Society of Light!" as series of moments appeared from the previous year, like Zane defeating Jaden, Syrus defeating the Tyler Sisters, Celina and Alexis dueling Jaden and Bastion, Chazz standing tall ahead of Jaden, Zane defeating Nightshroud, Celina defeating Camula, Alexis defeating Dennis, Bastion defeating Tania, Kite and Chazz dueling each other, Celina defeating Yuri, Jaden defeating Amneal, Jaden with amber eyes staring at the Sacred Beasts and then the graduation match.

Cursed by the twist of fate, I'm falling down!

As then we see a bright light appearing in motion as Sartorius was on the front with his eyes staring at the audience, which was then carried over to Aster's deck who had a grin on his face.

The song of harmony I played out with you

Then there was a line break in the middle as we see Celina in a white dimension that was that of an ocean as three dragons roared, while Zane was in a similar one, but with a black one with 2 glowing eyes staring at him.

Lies in the far-away past

Then we see the same line break having Jaden and Aster with their back showing to the other person as they raised their heads as their Heroes were shown respectfully, but the last one was a brand new one, with his arms crossed and above the two.

The scent of your strength still lies in my heart

Hassleberry's eyes turned into a dinosaur's one for a brief second as on the opposite end was a duelist from South Academy with a crocodile near the duelist who had a grin on his face.

And I can't shake it off

Sora and Ray were standing near each other with smiles on their faces, but then they were flashed with images that told a different story.

Eh, waiting just isn't enough anymore Yay Yeah!

Jaden was then standing on the cliff with a happy and excited smile as he got out his deck and readied his brand new duel disk as the rest of them did the same, as even Zane did the same time, but at a Pro Duellist circuit.

Jaden then slammed the card to reveal Elemental HERO Neos who stood tall against Aster Phoenix, which was then turned back for Hassleberry to summon out a Dinowrestler Pankertops against the duelist.

The roulette points to tomorrow

Then both Kite and Chazz were shown with smirks on their faces as Armed Dragon Kagerou Thunder and Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragons were both on the field, as the side was then turned to Syrus having a Super Veichroid Jumbo Drill against someone.

Let the light shine

Then Alexis was standing proud as she held her Cyber Angel Amaterasu with Skye having her Trickstar Holly Angel on the field, as Yusuke held his Honest card near him as the monster was standing beside him with a smile with Bastion holding two decks in his hands with a confused look.

Make your escape from the dark maze

Zane was shown standing beside a rising Cyber End Dragon as dark flashes appeared on the dragon with wires all around it, as then Celina was shown with all of her Lunalights monster beside her, with flashes of 3 Dragons on her left and right side and even behind her.

La la la la la la la la la

Now we see Jaden, Celina, Syrus, Alexis, Chazz, Bastion, Yusuke, Skye, Hassleberry, Sora, Ray, Zane and Kite in one corner ready for a duel as their duel disks were ready, as on the other side we have Aster Phoenix with a shit eating grin, a brief, but visible outline of Sartorius with a void face, with Bonaperte and Crowler on Aster's side, but the latter had a conflicted face.

La la la la la la la la la (guess who is back!?)

Aster stood tall with a grin on his face as then two sets of Heroes appeared behind him ready for a fight as the Grand Jupiter stood tall behind them as Jaden's eyes flashed white for a second, but then turned into his regular brown colours.

La la la la la la la la la

As Jaden went closer and closer, brief images of Celina, Syrus, Alexis, Bastion, Chazz, Yusuke, Hassleberry, Ray, Sora, Skye, Kite and Zane flashed as then a hero appeared and charged towards Aster Phoenix.

Until we seize the hope in front of us...

Neos and Grand Jupiter raised their fists and as soon as they clashed, it created a massive explosion which then brief images of the Light of Destruction and Nightshroud could be seen, as then the explosion engulfed them as well as then the crew were then seen standing proud and tall, ready for a new battle.

YUGIOH GX: REWRITE - THE SOCIETY OF LIGHT!

(A/N: End Theme.)

The first class of the day was finished, and it was not a boring one as it was interesting to learn the French language by their Vice Chancellor Jean-Louis Bonaparte, but his teachings and the way he treated everyone else that wasn't a Slifer Red was kind of… well, more favourable to say the least as they could tell that he has something against them, like Crowler did to them last year.

They also will have another hour of French Class, so they did take a little break, a 5 minute break as it was a school rule for them to have that break, so Bonaparte was readying his notes, drinking a nice cup of coffee, as then…

The door was opened to as they saw Jaden Yuki walking out of the door way, looking absolutely horrible as they can tell that he was running a marathon as he was trying to catch his breath. He was covered in tree branches, crabs, scratches by several different animals like a bear, wolf, a hyena, covered in feathers of chickens and the smell of… Oh god, it is disgusting! How the hell did it reach the author's room?!

Everyone covered their noses as Bonaparte yelled, "Sacre bleu! What is that horrible smell that my nose can't describe?!" he covered his nose as everyone pointed at Jaden, as some either passed out or nearly puked because it was so disgusting.

"Uhm… me?" Jaden awkwardly raised his hand as the other was the back of his head, scratching it as Bonaparte took out his phone.

"CHANCELLOR CROWLER! CODE RED! CALL THE DISINFECTION TEAM, RIGHT NOW! WE HAVE A LIVING BIOHAZARD IN OUR HANDS!" he yelled as Jaden was tackled to the ground by a team of scientists, all wearing gas masks and suits so they don't get toxic gas on their body as they all sprayed him with water and then a massive amount of soap as everyone else, including Bastion carrying a knocked out Syrus in his hands, ran out of the room.

After the entire class were washed out and they find out that they weren't living radiation with legs, the classroom was being used for science so they can probably make bank out of the new radiation, while Jaden was being sprayed with water, used a crap ton of soap so he doesn't smell like shit wrapped in all sorts of toxic chemicals, and was as clean as a boy's internet search history.

Seriously, how did one boy smell so bad that it actually nearly kill every student in that area?

Well, Jaden began to explain to his friends, after they were told that he was safe to be around, that Sora and Ray didn't really know the island like he does, so he was hit by every single tree in a forest all at once, which might have hit him in the nose, then he fell by a cliff in the middle of a group of animals having what looked like a meeting, as he was being scratched by every single animal there, it was a miracle that he even survived.

Then, for some unknown reason, they ran to the beach as there was a crab party as when he tripped, every single one of them ran towards him and pinched him to no end. He then ran to the place where the Golden Eggwich were being made as all of the chickens were then flying around him.

To add insult to the injury, he ran in the sewers. That's right. The sewers. They didn't even know that there was one in Duel Academy, but alas, they now know about them, and they learned the hard way as because of his radioactive smell was the main reason why they don't currently have second period.

It was now the third period, and Fonda was told that Jaden is allowed to play by the disinfection team, so Jaden was the one with the baseball bat, Celina was the one to throw the ball, Chazz was the one who will catch the ball, Yusuke is the one calling if it is a strike and how many strikes they have while Syrus, Alexis and Bastion were off to the side.

"Are you ready, Jaden?! To get your butt kicked?!" yelled Celina as she readied herself with a throw.

"Oh, I am ready all right. Ready to show you my stuff and I don't back down!" grinned Jaden as he readied his baseball bat.

"Then you will love it when I show you who is the top dog!" Celina took a piece of gum and then began chewing on it.

"You know damn well that it is me!" Jaden laughed at her attempt to scare him.

"In your dreams!" Celina yelled.

"Nuh uh!"

"Yuh uh!"

"No way!"

"Yes way!"

"Don't even thi-"

"Are you two ready or not?!" yelled Yusuke as he cut them off, "For the love of Heractie, continue this somewhere else you two! This is a game of baseball!" both of them sighed at the same time as they nodded to each other that they were ready.

She reached out her hand and then threw the baseball with all of her might as Jaden tried to hit the ball, but he was then interrupted as Ray appeared on the side yelling, "YO WASSUP, JADEN!?"

That shocked Jaden so much that his baseball slipped out of his hands as it flew towards Alexis, Syrus and Bastion, knocking them all at the same time, as Jaden's left hand was thrown in such speed that it backhanded Chazz, making him fall to the ground, groaning in pain, as Jaden's right foot made Yusuke fall out of his balance, making him fall on the ground with immense pain, as the ball landed on Jaden's forehead as it bounced towards Celina, knocking her out in the process.

Surprisingly, Jaden was the only one conscious, but he was still groaning in pain.

Ray looked at the damage he had done and began running away. Thinking that he might have killed them.

Later

Jaden, Hassleberry and Skye were outside on one of the Obelisk statues eating their lunch as it was currently break time for them. Skye is currently having rice, Jaden is eating fried shrimp and Hassleberry is eating steak. No he didn't order it, he hunted for it.

Why weren't the rest of the crew there, you may ask? Well…

"So, let me get this straight. After you nearly killed the entire class with your radiation and making you skip an entire class, you guys had baseball practice and some orange haired guy scared you so much that you knocked out everyone in a freak accident, making them wait in the hospital room for another hour or two?" asked Skye as she took a bit of the rice with chopsticks as did Jaden for his fried shrimp.

"You betcha, and you want to know what was the worst part of it?" he asked as Hassleberry looked at him.

"What is it, Sarge?" asked Hassleberry as the boy in red looked at him.

"It was the same guy who was the reason why was I late. Saying something about the Ray Way," he grunted as he took another shrimp, "More like the wrong way."

"Oh yeah, I have kind of heard of him." they looked at Skye, "I heard that it was someone by the name of Ray Shadows, one of the transfer students that came over the year. I heard that the 'Ray way' is usually the reason why most people were late slash hurt."

"Well that is good to know, so I can make him learn for ever hurting the platoon." said Hassleberry as he took a piece of that stake.

"Honestly? If this keeps up, you have my full permission to do so." said Jaden as he was getting tired of all of it.

"Can I film it?" asked Skye as the shrugged their shoulders.

"I don't see why not." said Jaden as he took one more fried shrimp, as then Sora appeared with pom poms in his hands.

"YOOO, WHAT'S UP COACH J?!" yelled Sora as it made Jaden drop the shrimp into his mouth, almost unable to make him swallow the damn thing as he began hitting his chest, as he made noises indicating that he was choking.

Both Skye and Hassleberry turned to him in shock as Hassleberry ran up to Jaden and proceeded to do the heimlich maneuver as he proceeded to hit his stomach repeatedly, "SARGE!" as then from his mouth, he coughed up the shrimp as he got exhausted doing that.

Hassleberry gently put him down on his knees as Jaden said, "Thanks, I owe ya' one." he said as he began breathing heavily.

Hassleberry nodded as he then turned to Sora, whose face was of pure shock at what happened, as he began running straight towards him yelling, "OH, I AM GOING TO PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO THE SARGE, YA' SHRIMP!" he said as Sora ran for his life, trying to survive from an attack of this half-human half-dino.

Skye placed her hand on his back as he still continued to breathe heavily, "Do you need a bottle of water?" she asked as Jaden nodded with his head. She nodded as she began running for a bottle of water from the vending machine.

Later

It was almost time for the promotional duel for Jaden as he was currently using the bathroom. He had an hour left before the duel began which was plenty of time for him to take the number 2, which thankfully was going smoothly.

After a solid 20 minutes of Hassleberry chasing Sora around, it meant that school has continued for the time being, as Sora then ran to the room that he had to use to study as Hassleberry snapped his fingers as he went to the same classroom as Skye. He will get his revenge for the Sarge. One day.

After the rest of the crew were released from the hospital room, with a few orders that Yusuke should relax and not duel for an entire day, which he could do, for Celina to be more patient about the healing as she wasn't allowed to duel for 2 days and that she has to try not to get angered as often, for Alexis, Bastion and Syrus to relax, giving them permission not to be in class so they can rest up but are allowed to watch the duel and not duel for 3 days, which they can handle.

They heard the recent news of Jaden nearly choking to death because of one candy eating little kid, and it was almost time for them to throw hands with two little shits because that was the semi last straw. One more horrible thing is happening to this crew and they are getting jumped.

Jaden sighed. He doesn't know if he for some reason made the luck gods mad at him, but this is getting ridiculous.

He just hopes that this ends sometime really soo-

"Hey, Coach J!"

"Sup, Jaden!" Sora and Ray said as they peaked their heads under the bathroom stalls.

That's it!

"No! You two, get out of here, right now! Do you hear me?! NOW!" he yelled at them, but Ray held up toilet paper.

"We were about to say that you ran out of toilet paper and wanted rolls." he said as Jaden looked at the toilet paper and saw it was empty.

"Oh." he looked at them, "My bad, I am very sorry for what I said, can I please borrow some paper?" he asked as Ray beamed up brightly.

"Sure thing! Here." he said as he handed him a roll of paper.

"Thanks." he said as he took some toilet paper.

At the Duel Arena

It was now the duel arena and the crowd was getting wild as everyone waited for the duel to start for Jaden's promotional exam. The crew were all waiting for the duel to commence, as Celina was drinking some hot chocolate as it was the only thing that will keep her from being angry at someone, courtesy of Tyranno Hassleberry.

Crowler walked up to the podium between the two duelist with a microphone, as Vice Chancellor Bonaparte was on the rails, ready to see how well this plan will go.

They could see Jaden standing tall with a confident smile on his face as he stopped shuffling his deck for a moment, placed it in his new duel disk as his was a Slifer Red Duel Academy duel disk which he thought was pretty sweet.

Crowler coughed into his hand as he then began, "Welcome, everyone and all to the second rounds of the promotional exams! Last week was a great showing from 4 different duelists of Sorano Daigo, Skye Zaizen, Celina Boyle and Chazz!" the crowd went wild as they began clapping for the afromention people.

"But now, we are at the second round of the promotional exams, and this one is a special one, because oh boy it is a fun one! On the one side we have the Slifer Slacker himself, the man of the many Elemental Heroes, the slacker that constantly sleeps in my classes yet somehow passes them - anyway I got carried away, we have Jaden Yuki!" he said as the crowd went wild for this one.

Jaden walked out of the arena with a proud smile on his face as the crowd went wild. He began to wave to the audience with his constant attitude and a way to show that he isn't afraid of his opponent. But he then saw his opponent.

"Wait, a minute, that shrimp looks familiar." said Hassleberry as he tried to look forward with him using his hands over his eyes as binocholurs.

Skye's eyes widened, "Oh don't tell me, that's-"

"Hey, that is my buddy Sora!" most of the crew were silent when they heard that voice, as Skye and Hassleberry turned to the new guy in confusion as the rest of the crew looked at him very slowly. Almost robotic.

It was Ray Shadows.

They all placed their hands on Celina's shoulders so she doesn't beat him up, but they really wanted him to get beaten up.

"Hey, guys, I am Ray Shadows. Nice to meet you." he said with a smile.

"What are you doing here?" asked Celina with clear venom in her voice, and no one can blame her. Not one bit.

"I am here to watch the duel with you guys, so is it cool if I-"

"NO!" yelled Chazz as he stood up, "Do you know how hard we had to get hurt because of your stunt, so you should be thankful that we aren't beating your ass on the spot!"

"I am sorry okay!" he tried his hardest to ignore the daggers from the rest of the crew. "I didn't mean too, I am truly sorry! It was an accident!"

Some sighed, knowing that it truly was an accident, but that didn't mean he was left off the hook.

"Fine, we will forgive you for that, but do that shit again, and you are not eating solid food for a week, got it?" asked Yusuke as Ray nodded with him. "Good."

"So…can I hang out with you guys?" he asked as they looked at each other and sighed.

"Sure," they said as he beamed as he sat with them.

Back to the duel, Crowler began to hype up Jaden's opponent, "And on the other side, we have one of the two transfer students. Coming all away from East Academy, as his Fusion Summoning tactics are his main speciality with a bit of a sweet tooth, we have Sora Perse!" he yelled as Sora walked in.

He had a lollipop in his mouth as he walked in as he waved to the audience as they began hyping him up, but Skye had to hold off Hassleberry from murdering Sora on the spot since he was the main cause of Jaden nearly choking to death.

"Hey, Coach J! Long time no see!" he said as Jaden widened his eyes as the rest of the crew raised an eyebrow at that name.

"Coach J?" asked Bastion, "Pardon, but what kind of nickname is that?" he asked as Ray turned to them.

"Oh, it is simple. After we watched him defeat Hassleberry, he wanted to learn more about dueling and how to be a better duelist due to Jaden's teachings, so that's why he calls him Coach J." he explained as they were confused on of all people he chose to be his coach, he picked the guy that doesn't even know what a fiance is.

"Okay, then." said the crew.

"Oh I didn't know I would be dueling you." said Jaden as Sora grinned.

"Well, of course! I didn't want to ruin the surprise, now would I?" he asked as he readied his Obelisk Blue duel disk.

"Well, I guess you are right, and you better get your game on!" he yelled as Sora nodded.

"Looks like both of them are ready, so let the duel… COMMENCE!" he yelled as he began running away from the stadium.

Sora: 4000 lp

Jaden: 4000 lp

Turn 1.

"How about I kick this thing?!" yelled Sora as he drew the top 5 cards from his deck and then the top card of his deck, as he looked at his hand. He nodded as he took one of the cards from his hand, "I will start by activating my Continuous Spell card, Toy Vendor!" he said as he inserted the card into his duel disk as the card appeared on his field.

Behind him appeared appeared a massive machine that was like a toy dispenser as inside of them were capsules, with it having green eyes on it with a red top hat, as the bottom was that of a tongue, as the base was purple, as it had arms with pink gloves and a machine in which they can insert cards for a capsule.

Sora took a card from his hand, "I will activate its effect! Once per turn, I can discard one yucky card like my Fusion Recovery," he said as he did so as the card went into Toy Vendor's machine, "so I can draw 1 card, and if it is a Level 4 or lower monster, I can special summon it on my side of the field!" he said as he drew a card as he looked at it, with a smile.

"Looks like I am in luck! Since the card I drew was Fluffal Dog, come out buddy!" he said as he slammed the card on his hand as from Toy Vendor went down a single capsule which exploded to reveal Sora's new monster, a plushie of a glen of Imaal Terrier with purple ribbons behind it with wings on it. When summoned, most of the arena went 'aww' when it appeared on the field.

(Fluffal Dog: Level 4 - Earth Fairy - Attack: 1700. Defense: 1000.)

"Wait, Fluffal? What kind of cutesy deck is that?" asked Hassleberry as Ray smirked.

"Well, it is his best deck as it specializes in Fusion Summoning with the help of his Toy Vendor," he said as Bastion nodded.

"Correct, and if paired with Edge Imp and Frightfur monsters, it is a deck to be feared by, despite it's rather cute appearances." he said as they looked at Sora taking a card from his hand.

"When this little guy is added, I can add a Fluffal monster or Edge Imp Sabres from my deck straight to my hand!" he said as he revealed a card by the name of Fluffal Octopus as he placed it in his hand.

"I am not done, as I normal summon my Edge Imp Saw to the field!" he said as then on his side of the field a saw with knives coming down on the saw with dark red eyes on the front, in defense mode.

(Edge Imp Saw: Level 3 - Dark Fiend - Attack: 500. Defense: 1000.)

He took a card from his hand, "When this guy is summoned, I can discard one Fluffal from my hand like my Sheep," he did so, "so I can draw 2 cards from my hand!" he yelled as then he drew the top 2 cards from his deck and placed it in his hand.

He looked at one of them and nodded, "I end my turn by setting one card! Your move Coach J!" he said as a card was then set vertically behind his Saw and Dog.

Turn 2. Jaden - 4000 lp - 5 cards

"Alright, not bad of a first turn, but trust me, it ain't gonna stop me!" he yelled as then he drew the top card of his deck as he looked at it. He nodded as he looked at his entire hand and found a pretty decent combo.

"I'll start by activating the Spell card, Polymerization!" he yelled as they were shocked that he is going all out in this turn already as Jaden took two cards from his hand, "I fuse Heat and Lady Heat from my hand to create one of my favourite Heroes!" he said as Heat and Lady Heat appeared on the field, only for them to turn into red and blue data as they began swirling in between each other to create a small vortex for a new Hero.

"Here comes the Hero whose fire is as hot as the Sun! Elemental Hero Nova Master!" he chanted as then from the vortex came out a knight in burning armour as the colouring scheme was hot red with the shoulder pads being yellow, as he wore a red cape, leather in between the armour and one of the fists was on fire.

(Elemental HERO Nova Master: Fusion - Level 8 - Fire Warrior - Attack: 2600. Defense: 2100.)

"Ahh yes, one of Jay's strongest Fusion monsters are here!" he yelled as Jaden smirked at that.

"That's right, Sy, but I am not done yet, as I will activate this new card here," he said as he took a card from his hand, "I activate the Spell, Heat Crystals! I banish from my graveyard 2 Fire monsters," he said as then from his graveyard appeared Heat and Lady Heat, only for them to be sucked by a flaming vortex from his newest Spell card, "So I can special summon 1 Fire Elemental Hero Fusion Monster from my Extra Deck!" he yelled as he took 1 card from his Extra Deck and slammed it on his duel disk.

"Here comes the Hero whose punches alone create a flamin' Inferno! Elemental Hero Inferno!" On his side of the field appeared a different Fire Hero, as the fingers and knuckles were charcoal black, around the shoulders, stomach, chest and head was red, legs and arms were white as all around the monster there was fire all around him. It posed with Nova Master, as the other Fire Hero returned the favour.

(Elemental HERO Inferno: Fusion - Level 8 - Fire Pyro - Attack: 2300. Defense: 1600.)

Everyone looked at Jaden in almost pure shock at what he had done during this turn. With only 2 Spell cards, he was able to Fusion Summon 2 powerful Fire Hero monsters from his Extra Deck with almost no problem.

Sora's eyes sparkle, "WOAH! This is amazing! You are so cool, Coach J!" he yelled as Jaden grinned and rubbed his nose with his finger.

"Thanks, Sora, you know this was a hard way to summon those two monsters in one turn, and I always did want to summon them in one turn, and this was a sweet way, huh?" he asked as Sora nodded.

"It is," then Sora smiled maliciously as Ray was the only one to know what was about to happen, "But I am afraid, that it isn't sweet enough," they looked at him as he took a card from his hand, "I activate Edge Imp Scythe's effect from my hand! During your Main Phase, I can send this card from my hand to the grave, so I can fuse monsters from my hand or field to Fusion Summon one Frightfur monster!"

Both of his on field monsters were then created into blue and red data as they began swirling around each other as he began to chant, "Steel blades possessed by demons. Become one with the loyal follower, and show us a new form and power! I Fusion Summon! Show yourself! Sea devil that steal freedom and pulls everything into darkness! Frightfur Kraken!"

On his field appeared a rather devilish creature of the night as the monster was a massive purple kraken as from its mouth appeared 2 red eyes, with large blades on the top of its heads, as the legs of this beast had numerous blades that could cut any monster its way. The crowd was silent as they were shocked at the image of that monster. It was in defense mode.

(Frightfur Kraken: Fusion - Level 8 - Water Fiend - Attack: 2200. Defense: 3000.)

"I guess the cuddly part of his deck aren't what they seem." said Skye as the rest nodded with her when she said that.

Jaden looked at the monster in shock and then its defense points. It was larger than both Nova Master and Inferno's attack points. He looked at his hand, and thought about a combo. He could attack with Inferno since it was a Water monster and it could gain an extra 1000 attack points, and then attack directly with Nova Master, dealing more damage if he used the card in his hand, however, he couldn't draw a card from his deck if he did so.

So he decided to do one different move, "I will attack!" they were shocked to see Jaden attacking a monster with higher defense, "Elemental Hero Nova Master attacks your Frightfur Kraken! Blazing Universe!" he yelled as then his monster charged directly towards the Fusion monster as his fist was on fire when he did so.

"Coach J, are you sure?! My monster has more defense points!" he yelled as Jaden smirked.

"Oh I know! That's why I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Blind Spot Strike! My monster gains attack points equal to your monster's defense points until the end of the turn!" their eyes widened as Nova Master glew red for a short period of time.

Elemental HERO Nova Master: 2600 - 5600 attack

Nova Master then began running towards the Kraken as the monster tried to destroy him with its claws of devastation, but they kept missing as he dodged every single one of them as he then jumped up, punching away all of the claws away as the fist continued to go towards the Fusion monster and then, the monster roared in pain as the fist collided with as Sora protected himself from the dust.

Once it was all clear, Nova Master returned to his master. Sora narrowed his eyes as he had an idea on how to stop it, but for now, he would let it slide because of her. Jaden continued, "When he destroys a monster by battle, I get to draw 1 card from my deck!" he yelled as he drew the card from his deck.

He looked at it and nodded, placing it in his hand, as he continued, "Now, Elemental Hero Inferno will attack you directly with Vanishing Fist!" he yelled as Inferno's fist was also on fire as he began running in different directions as Sora tried to find where he was going, until Inferno appeared in front of him and delivered a right hook, making him stammer for a bit.

Sora: 4000 - 1700 lp

Jaden: 4000 lp

"That will do it for now! Your move Sora!" he yelled as Inferno returned to his master, ready for another battle.

Turn 3. Sora - 1700 lp - 3 cards

"My turn! I draw!" he yelled as he drew the top card from his deck as he flipped it, and saw it was a card that he knew would help him in the future as he couldn't wait to use it, but he was instructed to hold back, at least for now.

So he placed the card to his hand as he took a different Spell card, "I now play the Spell card Frightfur Patchwork!" he yelled as the card appeared on his field as he began to explain what his card did, "With this, I get to add an Edge Imp monster and Polymerization from my deck!" two cards popped out of his duel disk as he then took them and placed them in his hand.

"Which I will now activate!" he said as then the card appeared on his field, "I fuse from my hand my Fluffal Leo and Edge Imp Sabres to create another powerful being!" he said as Fluffal Leo and Edge Imp Sabres appeared on the field only for both of them to turn into red and blue data as they began to swirl with each other, creating a vortex as they then crashed into each other.

He then began to chant, "Claws of the demon! Become one with the fanged beast, and show us a new form and power! I Fusion Summon! Show yourself! Mystical jungle beast that rips everything to shreds! Frightfur Tiger!" he yelled as then on his field appeared a new monster as he looked maniacal the entire time. It was a blue tiger plushie with scissors appearing from it and in his stomach, as the stripes of the beast was black, as some fur appeared from it, as from its mouth they can see dark red eyes.

It was impressive how terrifying it looked.

(Frightfur Tiger: Fusion - Level 6 - Dark Fiend - Attack: 1900. Defense: 1200.)

"I gotta hand it to ya, your monsters are mad scary!" said Jaden as his Heroes looked curiously at the new Fusion monster.

"Thanks, Coach J, but if you think he is alone, wait until you see his first effect! He can destroy monsters up to the Fusion Materials once it is Fusion Summoned, so say goodbye to your Inferno and Nova Master! Death Claw!" he yelled as Jaden gasped as Tiger's claws began to glow blue as it slashed the air, creating a shockwave which went towards the two Fire Heroes, destroying them without much issue as Jaden covered himself.

However, his graveyard slot began to glow, "When Inferno is destroyed, I can add from my graveyard 1 Spell card, so I take my Polymerization thank you!" he yelled as he showed the spell to everyone.

"Not bad, but here is something special. Tiger makes it so all Frightfur monsters on the field gain 300 attack points for every Fluffal and Frightfur monster on the field!" he yelled as his monster roared in power.

Frightfur Tiger: 1900 - 2200 attack points

"Now! Time to battle!" he yelled as Tiger began to charge up an attack as it slashed the air around him, "Frightfur Tiger attacks you directly! Death Claw!" he yelled as the slash created a blue shockwave as it went towards Jaden as he tried to cover himself from the powerful attack, but was pushed back.

He smiled as he knew that this will be a tough match for him, like he always wanted for this promotional exam.

Sora: 1700 lp

Jaden: 4000 - 1800 lp

"Sorry about that Coach J, but you have to know that I am not going down or easy on you." he said as he half lied to him.

"Like you should man! This is a great duel!" he yelled as Sora smiled.

"Really?! That's so great to hear! I end my turn!" he yelled as Frightfur Tiger growled at him, but the Slifer Red didn't mind it at all.

Turn 4. Jaden - 1800 lp - 3 cards

"Oh I gotta agree with you there, but this is only the start! I draw!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck and looked at it. He nodded as he instantly played it, "I activate Pot Of Greed!" the legendary pot appeared on his side of the field, "With this Spell, I can draw 2 cards!" he did so as the pot exploded.

He looked at his hand, with his 5 new cards in his hand. He nodded as he saw a really good combo in his way which would help him in this turn. Even managing to show one of his newer monsters.

"I activate Polymerization! I fuse from my hand Sparkman and Necroshade to create a new Hero!" he said as then on his field appeared his Lightning Hero and the Dark Hero as then they were turned into red and blue data as they began swirling around each other, creating a vortex and then they smacked each other.

Jaden began to chant, "Here comes the Hero that brings the darkness with his shocking powers! Elemental Hero Darkbright!" On his field appeared a monster that looked like Sparkman, but he had a couple of differences. The first was that his suit was mainly dark, with him having a red mask rather than his blue one, as the shoulders, stomach and legs were that of Nechroshade's colouring scheme as he had wings that were the same material as Necroshade's armour.

(Elemental HERO Darkbright: Fusion - Level 6 - Dark Warrior - Attack: 2000. Defense: 1000.)

"Kind of looks like Sparkman, but with a new coat of paint." said Yusuke as they nodded as it looked way too similar to the Light Hero.

"Man, that monster looks! Though, it is weaker than my Frightfur Tiger, so why did you summon it?" Sora asked as Jaden smirked.

"Well, so I can activate the Spell H - Heated Heart! This card gives my monster a 500 power boost until the end of the turn!" he said as the Spell card appeared on the field as a flaming H went towards Darkbright as it posed dramatically.

Elemental HERO Darkbright: 2000 - 2500 attack points

"That's more powerful than my Tiger!" he yelled in shock.

"Bingo! Darkbright attacks your Frightfur Tiger with Dark Flash!" Jaden yelled as Darkbright clapped his hands together as from it appeared dark energy in between his fingers, as he then pointed at Tiger and then shot it directly at it like a Hadoken.

Sora reacted quickly, "I activate Edge Imp Scythe from my graveyard," a card popped out of his duel disk as he then took it and showed it to everyone, "I can negate a Frightfur monster's destruction once per turn if I banish it!"

"You still take the damage I am afraid!" he said as the attack landed on Tiger, but it wasn't destroyed, but it was incredibly hurt by the attack.

Sora: 1700 - 1400 lp

Jaden: 1800 lp

Darkbright then went into a more defensive position, "Since my Darkbright battled a monster, I can change it to defense mode after the fight." he said as they realized that it was a decent monster for defense.

He then took a card from his hand, "I will throw down a facedown and call it a turn." he said as a card was then set vertically behind Darkbright.

Elemental HERO Darkbright: 2500 - 2000 attack points

Turn 5. Sora - 1400 lp - 2 cards

"My turn!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck. He looked at it and frowned as it wasn't a card that would help in the current situation, but it could be used for a different idea, "I activate Toy Vendor's effect! I discard one card from my hand," he said as he discarded 1 card from his hand as a card appeared behind him and it went to the slot machine.

"So I can draw 1 card, and if it is a Level 4 or lower monster, I can special summon it!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck and he looked at it. He smirked, "So say hello to Edge Imp Tomahawk!" he yelled as from the machine went out a single capsule as from it, it exploded, as they saw his new monster.

On his side of the field appeared a monster with a set of tomahawks all stacked together to create a new monster, as on the top of the monster were red eyes, as they were all glowing with malice.

(Edge Imp Tomahawk: Level 4 - Dark Fiend - Attack: 1800. Defense: 800.)

Sora frowned as he looked at his hand and saw no Edge Imp monster in his hand because if he did have one, it would be enough for him to win the game in this turn, but he still had more than enough to win the duel.

Case in point, he took a card from his hand, "I then normal summon my Fluffal Octopus!" On his side of the field appeared an adorable plushie on his side of the which was that of a baby octopus, with cute baby like eyes, puffy yellow cheeks and a butterfly on its head. Most of the girls awwed at the cute monster.

(Fluffal Octopus: Level 1 - Water Fairy - Attack: 800. Defense: 800.)

"Now this little baby has a great effect! When he is summoned on the field, I get to add a Fluffal monster from my graveyard to my hand!" he said as a card popped out of his duel disk as he then took it to reveal Fluffal Sheep.

"I am not done! Sheep's effect activates!" he yelled as then a card popped out of his duel disk, "When she is returned from my graveyard or field, I get to add Polymerization from my deck to my hand!" he said as he added the third and final card from his deck.

"Which I will now play! I fuse from my field, my Fluffal Octopus and Edge Imp Tomahawk to create one powerful Fusion monster!" he yelled as then on his field, his Octopus and Tomahawk were then turned into red and blue data as then began going around each other as they then smacked each other.

Sora then began to chant, "Demonic claws. Become one with the devil apostle and show us you new powerful form! I Fusion Summon! Come out! The devil that destroys all hope as it drains the opponent's life! Frightfur Daredevil!" he yelled as then on his field appeared what can only be described as the devil. It was a large demonic plushie of a devil, as a black chain was going around it, as its skin was red and black, as it had black wings with a silver trident, as there were yellow and black markings around its feet, hands and stomach.

Everyone looked at the monster with pure shock as they didn't expect a monster like that in his arsenal! It was huge, like it makes Frightfur Tiger and Darkbright look puny in comparison. It sounds like the devil is actually speaking.

Like it was about to destroy a pact between two different races, turn one of them into a demon and force its friend to kill him type devil.

They forgot one more detail about this. Frightfur Tiger was still on the field.

Frightfur Daredevil: 3000 - 3400 attack points

Frightfur Tiger: 2200 - 2500 attack points

"This looks like the end, doesn't it?!" Sora yelled as Jaden was quiet about this match as Sora pushed out his hand forward, "Time for our battle to commence! Frightfur Daredevil destroy Elemental Hero Darkbright! Demon Trident!"

Frightfur Daredevil raised its trident as it used all of his strength for one motion, to throw it directly towards Darkbright as the force of the trident made the Dark Hero explode apon impact as the Hero yelled in pain, but what they didn't expect for the trident to come towards Jaden!

He yelled in pain as they all looked in shock towards that.

"What the hell?!" yelled Celina in shock.

"Why did you hurt Jay?!" yelled Syrus as Ray smirked on why exactly it did that.

"Oh sorry, I forgot to mention one of his effects. You see when he destroys one of your monsters, you lose a total of 1000 points!" he said as Jaden groaned from that.

Sora: 1400 lp

Jaden: 1800 - 800 lp

"Oh come on, Coach J, it isn't that big of a damage. I am sorry, okay? Sorry I didn't tell you about his effect." he said as Jaden chuckled.

"No, I am sorry." they all noticed something about him, something around him. It were the remains of Darkbright! It was like the ghost of the monster appeared to save his duelist! "You see, when Darkbright is destroyed, he can destroy 1 monster on the field!" their eyes widened from that, "So I will destroy your Frightfur Tiger!" he yelled as the remains went straight towards the Frightfur monster.

Sora panicked as he knew that this will most likely go to his opponent being the victor and he won't let that happen! "Like hell you will! I activate the Counter Trap, Frightfur March!" his set card revealed itself, "When a monster targets one of my Frightfur monsters, I can send the monster to my graveyard," he said so as the monster disappeared before Darkbright's remains could get to him, "so I can negate the effect!"

A card then popped out of his Extra Deck as he then took it, "Then, I can special summon 1 Frightfur monster with the exact same Level, so welcome aboard my Frightfur Wolf!" On his field appeared a wolf that was smaller than Tiger and Daredevil, but it was more devilish than both of them. It had purple fur, blue eyes, scratches all over it, it was all sawed very poorly as there are scissors in the middle of it and purple eyes in its mouth.

(Frightfur Wolf: Fusion - Level 6 - Dark Fiend - Attack: 2000. Defense: 1500.)

"See that, Coach J?! I have more monsters than you!" he said as he proudly showed his monsters as they all glared at him, as he can tell that it was full of malice, but chose not to act on it.

"Well, to end this duel, my Frightfur Wolf will attack you directly! Demon Bite!" he yelled as the monster then jumped directly towards Jaden in a frightening manner.

"SARGE!" yelled Hassleberry in alarm, but Jaden opened his face down.

"Not so fast! I activate my Trap, Counter Gate! This card negates one direct attack on me," he said as then a gate appeared as the monster went through it, but then went to another gate near Daredevil and Sora, "and then I can draw 1 card, and if it is a monster, I get to summon it in defense mode."

His fingers were on top of his deck as he then yelled, "I draw!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck and smiled, "I summon my buddy Elemental Hero Bubbleman!" he yelled as then a water version of Batman appeared on the field with a proud grin on his face.

(Elemental HERO Bubbleman: Level 4 - Water Warrior - Attack: 800. Defense: 1200.)

"His effect activates! You see, he hates being alone, so when he is alone when summoned, I can draw 2 cards from my deck!" he said as he drew the top 2 cards of his deck.

Sora sighed as he looked at his 2 cards, and then back to Jaden, "I end my turn, Coach J, and thanks to March, my Wolf is banished until the End Phase," he said as his monster disappeared from the field.

Frightfur Daredevil: 3400 - 3000 attack points

Turn 6. Jaden - 800 lp - 2 cards

Jaden looked at his hand and then he looked back at Sora's field as he knew that this field was a force to be wrecked with as he didn't have a way to go over this new monster. He only had his Avian in his hand, Bubbleman on the field, and a certain Spell card, so how will he get through?

Simple, with his own grit. He placed fingers on the top of his deck and closed his eyes. He then opened them and yelled, "I draw!" he did so as he looked at the current card he just drew and smirked.

Jackpot.

"I activate the Spell, Legacy of a Hero!" he said as the card appeared on his side of the field as two cards popped out of his graveyard, "With this, I return 2 Fusion monsters from my graveyard to my Extra Deck that list a Hero monster as Material so I will return my Elemental Hero Darkbright and Inferno back to my Extra Deck!" he said as he returned those two Fusion monsters back into the Extra Deck, as it was only the start of his cards effect.

"Then I can draw 3 cards!" he yelled as he drew three cards from his deck as they widened their eyes when they heard the number of cards.

"Great Scott! It is even better than Pot Of Avarice and Fifth Hope with the number of card advantage he made with that Spell alone!" yelled Bastion in shock as the rest of the group were in total disbelief from the straight power from that Spell alone.

"That is not it, I also activate my Fusion Recovery! It allows me to return 1 Polymerization from my graveyard and one monster that was used as a Fusion Material, and I return my Sparkman!" he yelled as two cards popped out of his graveyard slot as he took them.

"Now, time for me to do a Triple Fusion! I fuse from my field my Bubbleman, with the Avian and Sparkman in my hand, in order to create the monster that will help me beat your beast!" he said as Bubbleman was turned into green data, Avian into red data, Sparkman into blue data as they all went around each other, until they smacked each other creating a small explosion from the vortex.

"Here comes the Hero that has the elements of Wind, Thunder and Water! Elemental Hero Tempest!" from the vortex came out the monster that helped in his and Sy's duel against the Tyler Sisters. It was a monster that wore Sparkman's vizor, Bubbleman's shoulder pads and Avian's wings, as he wore a claw on one hand and a cannon on the other, as his suit was more of Sparkman's suit, as he had an impressive build and green hair.

(Elemental HERO Tempest: Fusion - Level 8 - Wind Warrior - Attack: 2800. Defense: 2800.)

"Man, almost all of his old Fusion monsters are getting summoned this duel," said Chazz as most of the crew nodded with him.

"Though, it isn't enough to destroy Daredevil," said Ray as Jaden then took a single card from his hand.

"I think we should change the scenery a little bit, so how about I activate my Skyscraper?!" he yelled as then from his Field Spell slot was inserted out, as then on his side of the field, several high buildings began coming out of the ground as half of the arena was filled with them, but it was getting hard for the rest of the people to see, so thankfully thanks to Kaiba's new updates, they were able to fully see the action.

"Here is a little kicker: If my Elemental Hero attacks a monster that has higher attack points, my Skyscraper makes it so my monster gains 1000 extra attack points!" he yelled as Sora's eyes widened.

"Say what?!"

"I say battle! Elemental Hero Tempest attacks your Frightfur Daredevil! Powerhouse Plummet!" he yelled as Tempest directed his arm cannon directly towards Daredevil as from it came out water, wind and electricity as then from it, was shot a powerful beam that was made out of all of them, it was weak at first until…

Elemental HERO Tempest: 2800 - 3800 attack points

…until it got stronger by the Field Spell as it went straight through Daredevil as Sora had to cover himself as the monster exploded, only leaving his trident in the air.

Sora: 1400 - 600 lp

Jaden: 800 lp

Sora then smirked, "Good one Coach J," they all looked at Sora as he had a shit eating grin as the lolipop he was eating the entire duel was finally finished, so he took out a different one and began eating it, but he bit hard enough to destroy most of the candy, "You may have destroyed my Daredevil by battle, but here is the catch: When he is destroyed by battle, you take 500 points of damage for every Frightfur monster in my graveyard!" he yelled.

"WHAT?!" everyone yelled as Bastion and Alexis began to do the calculations.

"So, including the now destroyed Daredevil, in his graveyard there is Tiger and Kraken, but Wolf was banished, so that means he has at the very least 3 Frightfur monsters in his graveyard…" Alexis said as Bastion stood up.

"Which means Jaden loses a total of 1500 life points!" he yelled as they all looked at Jaden.

"JADEN!" they all yelled as the trident began hurling straight towards the Slifer Red in a fast motion, but Jaden was faster as he took a card from his hand.

"Oh yeah?! I activate my Spell card, Mystic Wok! I tribute Tempest," his new Fusion monster disappeared from the field as Jaden began glowing, "So I can gain life points equal to his attack or defense, but since they are the same, it doesn't matter, which one I choose!" he yelled as he glew red for a bit, until the trident landed on his right side, scratching him a little.

Sora: 600 lp

Jaden: 800 - 3600 - 2100 lp

Jaden was panting heavily as Sora threw a little temper tantrum. "AHH, not fair! I wanted to defeat you on your own turn!"

Jaden smirked, "Well, you gotta try harder than that to try and stop me! Since I have one more turn left, go Damage Off Zone!" the card appeared on his field, "This card halves any damage that we take as long as it is on the field. I end my turn." he said.

Turn 7. Sora - 600 lp - 2 cards

Sora pouted as he really wanted to beat Jaden in this one turn, but he felt as though it wouldn't have been as fun as if it ended there, so he guessed that this would do for the end of this duel.

Still, though, why did Sarina want him of all people. And not just him, but the girl as well, as he landed his eyes towards Celina who looked at him weirdly.

Sora sighed. He guessed that this was the end, so why not, make it as dramatic as he wants?

"My turn, I draw!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck and he smiled. It was all set and it will end here. Right now, and right here, on his own terms, like he wanted. This card was the perfect card for the job.

First things first, he needed the perfect card for the start of the turn, and he already knows which one. He took one of the cards and played it, "I now activate Suture Rebirth! This card allows me to special summon 1 Fluffal or Frightfur monster from my graveyard, but its effects are negated!" he yelled as they already knew what monster he was going to pop out of as he already took it.

"So say hello again to one of my favourites, Frightfur Daredevil!" he yelled as he slammed the card on his duel disk as then on his field appeared Frightfur Daredevil, but it was clearly weaker than before.

(Frightfur Daredevil: Fusion - Level 8 - Dark Fiend - Attack: 3000. Defense: 2200.)

Sora smiled at the newly summoned monster that he revived with this Spell, but the fact that he is not even done is the icing of the cake as he looked at a card that was like Miracle Fusion, but for Fluffals.

"To add on to my barrage, how about I play Frightfur Fusion?!" he yelled as the card appeared on his side of the field as two cards popped out of it as he had a wicked smile on his face, "This card banishes monsters on my field or graveyard so I can Fusion Summon 1 Frightfur Fusion monster, so I banish from my graveyard my Frightfur Kraken and my Fluffal Leo!" he said as then from the ground appeared a rather dark blue and red data vortex as they crashed into each other.

"Beast of the Sea. Become one with the fanged beast, and show us a new form and power! I Fusion Summon! Show yourself! Wild ghost-cave beast that bares fangs at all! Frightfur Sabre-Tooth!" he yelled as then a new monster appeared on his side of the field.

On his field appeared a new monster on his side of the field, and it could be argured that this could be his ace monster. It was a saber tooth tiger, but the orange fur was replaced with a purple fur as the eyes were purple, as around the monster were sharp glowing blades that could cut anyone around it as in the mouth were a pair of glowing purple eyes.

(Frightfur Sabre-Tooth: Fusion - Level 8 - Dark Fiend - Attack: 2400. Defense: 2000.)

They stared at the newly summoned monster in fear as they knew, that even though they don't know his effects, this will be a powerful monster to battle against, and the fact it was growling at them, made it scarier.

"Now, I know it may be scary, that's because it is! This little guy has an effect when summoned that will leave in shambles!" he said as a portal appeared from the ground, "If this card is Fusion Summoned, I can ressurect one Frightfur monster from my graveyard, so come out! Frightfur Tiger!" he yelled as then on his field and from the portal came out his Frightfur Tiger as it growled towards Jaden, as they slowly realized, the crowd, that Jaden is not surviving this turn.

(Frightfur Tiger: Fusion - Level 6 - Dark Fiend - Attack: 1900. Defense: 1200.)

"Don't forget about this one tiny detail about my Frightfur Tiger! All of my Frightfur monsters gain 300 attack points for every Frightfur and Fluffal on the field!" he yelled as all of his monsters roared in power as they began glowing in red as the audience were silent about this entire turn.

Celina gritted her teeth, "That means that they gain 900 attack points." she said as Sora grinned evilly as his monsters looked down at the Slifer Red who looked determined the entire time.

Frightfur Tiger: 1900 - 2800 attack points

Frightfur Sabre-Tooth: 2400 - 3300 attack points

Frightfur Daredevil: 3000 - 3900 attack points

"Don't even think that I am done with my buddies!" he yelled as Jaden widened his eyes.

"Are you kidding me, there is more?!" he yelled as Sora laughed at what he heard.

"Oh, Coach J. You are so silly." Jaden sighed when he heard that, "Of course there is! You see my Frightfur Sabre-Tooth has an effect that is similar that of Tiger's! You see, all of my Frightfur monsters gain 400 attack points for every Frightfur monster on the field!" he yelled as his monsters roared in power as they began to glow red for a bit.

"Wait, that means that all of his monsters now gain a total of 1200 attack points!" yelled Yusuke in shock as they saw Sora, one of the new exchange students of the year, have a massive wave of monsters in just one turn.

Frightfur Tiger: 2800 - 4000 attack points

Frightfur Sabre-Tooth: 3300 - 4500 attack points

Frightfur Daredevil: 3900 - 5100 attack points

All three of his new monsters began to growl all at the same time as they all let out a powerful roar that everyone could hear across the campus as they were ready to do one thing, and that is to win.

They were all quiet about this as they didn't even think that Jaden could even survive this battle, but they all remembered one thing about Jaden's field, so they smirked to each other about this. He will be fine.

Ray was hyping Sora up the entire time, Skye waited in anticipation and Hassleberry began to chew his finger nails as he was nervous the entire time about the Sarge losing the duel right here and now.

"Time to end this climactic battle! Frightfur Sabre-Tooth, Tiger and Daredevil, attack Coach J! Demonic Finisher!" he yelled as all three of his monsters now charged directly towards their opponent. Daredevil with its trident, Sabre-Tooth with its claws all over his body and Tiger with its claws.

All of them attacked together as Jaden as they created a small explosion as they all heard him yelling in pain as all of the sharp objects hit him everywhere.

Once they were done, the dust settled to see Jaden breathing heavily, almost too tired to stand up, as he had scratches all over his body, with nothing on his field, as then he turned to him with a smirk on his face.

Sora: 600 lp

Jaden: 1050 lp

"WHAT?!" yelled every first year, Ray and Sora all at the same time.

"How?! You said half of the damage, not 10%!" yelled Sora as Jaden chucked.

"Well, yeah. It is half, but I forgot to mention the second effect, sorry about that. You see, I can pay half of my life points so for the rest of the turn, I don't take any damage." he said as Sora's eyes widened.

"Ah, dang it! I was so close!" he huffed, "Well, that is all that I could do. Your move Coach J." he said as he looked at his last card, Fluffal Sheep. It did kind of suck that he didn't get to use his strongest monster, but he was told not to, so eh, it could've been worse.

Turn 8. Jaden - 1050 lp - 0 cards

"I feel so sorry for Sarge." said Hassleberry as he crossed his hands, "He has no monsters on his field, no Spells or Traps, not even a card in hand against that shrimp's 3 monsters with at least 4000 attack points."

"Same here, Jaden needs a miracle to win this duel." said Skye as Celina scoffed.

"Please, I have seen him turn the tide numerous times, this is nothing." she said confidently, "Trust me, out of anyone here, never count Jaden off, he will surprise you any time you duel him." she said with a smile.

"Wow, you seem pretty confident in your boyfriend." said Ray as Celina then looked at him with a red face.

"Wha-"

"Oh my god, someone finally said it." Skye said as Celina looked at her, "I knew that there was something going on between them!" she said.

"There is no-"

"I honestly didn't know you had the hots for the Sarge, Ma'am, but hey, I support it." Hassleberry said as he nodded happily. Celina turned to him.

"He's not my boyfriend!" she yelled as thankfully, Jaden didn't hear it.

"Really? I thought the way you acted around him, you would be dating?" said Ray as he was confused on the entire thing. The group looked at each other as they knew that they can't stay out of this.

"Well, for your information, we are not da-"

"Did you know that they almost kissed?" asked Alexis as Celina's eyes widened as she looked slowly at her with a shit eating grin.

Ray, Skye and Hassleberry looked at her with an unamused faces.

"Not dating, huh?" asked Ray.

Celina's was as red as a tomato. She couldn't say shit now with that. So she stood up and began walking out of the arena, giving the crew the middle finger while she was walking away.

The group was silent.

"Wanna bet how long she finally confesses her feelings?" asked Chazz towards the crew as they looked at him.

"Yes." they all said in unison.

Sora looked at the crew in confusion as he didn't know why they were betting on something as Jaden began to breath as his fingers were on the top of his deck.

He closed his eyes and then he drew the top card of his deck. He slowly began moving the card, as from the corner of his eyes he saw the card he just drew, and smirked. "I won." he said.

He then placed the card in his duel disk, "I activate my Spell card, A Hero Lives!" the card appeared on his field as he began to explain how the card works, "Here's how it goes, I first pay half of my life points…" he began to glow blue for a bit.

Sora: 600 lp

Jaden: 1050 - 525 lp

Then a card popped out of his duel disk as he then took it, "...so I can special summon one of my buddies from my deck! Come out, Elemental Hero Stratos!" he yelled as slammed the card on his duel disk.

On his field appeared a monster with blue skin, a gray helmet with a blue vizor, white gray pants, blue armour around his chest and shoulders, blue and gray gauntlets on his arms, with propeller wings on the back.

(Elemental HERO Stratos: Level 4 - Wind Warrior - Attack: 1800. Defense: 300.)

A card then popped out of his duel disk, "Since he was summoned in any way, I can activate one of two effects, and I will choose his second effect! I can add a Hero monster from my deck to my hand," he took the card, "and I will choose my Elemental Hero Blazeman, which I will now summon!"

As then on his side of the field, appeared one of his favourite heroes. It was a hero with a red mask that was on fire, as the gloves were black and were parts of his pants were also black, as around his stomach and knees were gray, his shoes were red and there were several red lining, as his chest was a bright red armour. It had 6 different orbs around him.

(Elemental HERO Blazeman: Level 4 - Fire Warrior - Attack: 1200. Defense: 1800.)

"Finally, when he is summoned, either by normal or special means, I get to add 1 Polymerization from my deck!" he yelled as then a card popped out of his duel disk as they then saw a great and massive comeback that Jaden made in one turn, as they saw a great way to win this duel.

Sora looked shocked the amount of advantage he got from one card as he might actually think that he was worthy for one of them, but he is sure that he will win this.

"I will now activate the Spell card! I fuse from my field my Stratos and Blazeman to create one more Hero!" he said as then the two monsters were turned into red and blue data as they began going around each other as they smacked each other in the face.

Jaden then began to chant, "Here comes the Hero to create a Tornado! Elemental Hero Great Tornado!" he yelled as then on his field appeared his Wind Fusion monster. The monster was a lengthy one, as there were orange marks all over the monster's legs, torso, hips and arms, as his body was black and orange as his hands were that of a machine to create wind as it had a black cape all around it.

He looked so powerful, that he could be a captain of a squad with a fairy going around, annoying him. (A/N: I should stop with these Black Clover references, should I?)

(Elemental HERO Great Tornado: Fusion - Level 8 - Wind Warrior - Attack: 2800. Defense: 2200.)

Sora looked confused on why he summoned a monster who was so much weaker than his Fusion monsters, "Coach J, why did you summon such a weak monster? I mean your monster isn't as strong as my monster, so what gives?"

Jaden smirked, "What gives is that Great Tornado halves all monsters' attack points when he is summoned on the field." he said as their eyes widened when they heard that.

"WHAT?!" yelled Sora in surprise.

"You heard me! Go, Tornado Fang!" (A/N: SIKE! You thought I would stop with them?) he yelled as then from the palm of Great Tornado's palm, a horizontal tornado formed as it went towards Sora's monsters as it was strong enough to halven half of their strength, but they are still standing.

Frightfur Tiger: 4000 - 2000 attack points

Frightfur Sabre-Tooth: 4500 - 2250 attack points

Frightfur Daredevil: 5100 - 2550 attack points

Sora then realized one thing once he saw the attack points drop, that he couldn't do anything to stop his defeat. He gritted his teeth as he smiled, finishing the lollipop in his mouth.

"Now, sorry to end this duel, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do! Go, Elemental Hero Great Tornado attacks your Frightfur Tiger! Spirit Storm!" he yelled as then Great Tornado began sucking up the air around him as it went all around the palm of his hand, as he concentrated to create one powerful blast of wind, as then a green light appeared in the palm of his hand as it was like it was made out of Wind, and that of a Spirit of a Fairy.

Great Tornado then thrusted his arm towards Frightfur Tiger as from the palm of his hand, the green light began speeding towards Frightfur Tiger as it looked like a pillar of collected strong wind as it went towards Frightfur Tiger, destroying the monster and making Sora fly straight to the wall, as he fell on his knees.

After a second or two, Sora stood up as he closed his eyes as he saw the destruction of his Frightfur monster, and the duel.

Sora: 600 - 0 lp

Jaden: 525 lp

JADEN YUKI: WINNER!

It was all quiet as Jaden smirked as the holograms of all of the monsters, Toy Vendor and his Field Spell began disappearing as he pointed his index and middle fingers together and then pointed at Sora, who was quietly walking towards him, "That's game! And a pretty sweet one!"

"I can't agree with you more, Coach J!" yelled Sora as he smiled while looking at him, as stars went around his face and like Asta in his eyes, "You were amazing! You have to show me how to duel like you!" he said.

Jaden nervously scratched the back of his head, "Well can't really do that."

"Aww, why not?" Sora moaned as he asked that question.

"Well, I am unfit to fill that role and you are in a dueling school, so it wouldn't really make anysense." he said as Sora dropped his head.

"Still, though, nice duel! Wish I can have one of them any time soon!" he said as Jaden smiled at that.

"Yeah, same here! If you want a duel like that, just ask!" he said as then the crowd began cheering for the victory of the Slifer Red, and most likely, soon to be Obelisk Blue, and for the very good show for the exchange student.

Crowler began walking towards the two, "I must say, a good show. A jolly good show I might add. What a great performance by these duelists, as even the slacker did a good job!" the crew and Jaden sweatdropped at that, "Now, before we celebrate Slifer Red's victory and his upcoming promotion, we have to give it up for Sora here!" he yelled as he showed his hand for the small boy in blue.

"He was able to do a hard task of Fusion Summoning on his own opponent's turn, able to protect his strong monsters countless of times in the duel, managing to summon out powerful beasts every single turn, and if someone didn't have Damage Off Zone, he would've won the duel with 3 monsters with the bare minimum of 4000 attack points! Everyone give a round of applause for Sora!" he yelled as everyone began clapping and cheering for the little guy.

The said little guy began looking around with a smile on his face as from his pocket, took out a chocolate bar and began eating it.

The crew had to admit one thing. Even though Crowler isn't that good a teacher, he is doing a good job of not showing favouritism, well, the best he can at least.

"Now, to give the applause to," he sighed, well that was a lie, "to the Slifer Slacker himself. Managing to summon out 2 Elemental Hero Fusion monsters on 1 turn, making more and more Fusions in each turn, with managing to survive as many turns as humanly possible with limited sources and even managing to win thanks to a single Spell card! Everyone give round of applause to Jaden." he said as the crowd began cheering for Jaden even louder than before as he began waving to everyone.

It was really impressive how he did that in that much in such a short amount of time, and even using cards that he never used like Darkbright, Legacy of A Hero and A Hero Lives, so it was interesting to see how well he will improve over time and they get a feeling that this is only the start of it.

Jaden then turned to Crowler as he coughed into his hand, "Well, I can't believe I am going to say this, but Jaden Yuki due to your overwhelming power and skills as a duelist, with even defeating a Obelisk Blue himself, I will proudly promote your rank to Obelisk Blue. Do you accept this?"

He wouldn't have asked that question, but since Chazz and Celina rejected it, publicly, he had to answer that question.

Jaden smirked as Syrus realized what he was about to say, "Sure! I would love to teach! Even though red is still a cooler colour, I would love to wear that blue jacket!" he said as Crowler smiled.

"That's good to know." he then turned to the crowd, "Please give another around of applause for the new Obelisk Blue, Jaden Yuki!" Everyone then began to clap, even Syrus as he hated this idea, but he was glad that his best friend got promoted, but… will he?

Later

"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE US, JAY/SARGE?!" yelled both Syrus and Hassleberry as they began to bow towards a shrine made out of pictures of Jaden doing different tasks, even him having a messy face as he is eating a hot dog.

Weird part? They had that for about a week now.

"What on Earth are they doing?" asked Celina as she was looking through their door.

"Hmm? Oh that?" asked Chazz as he folded his arms together, "That slacker was promoted to Obelisk Blue, so they are bowing to that shrine as if he was dead or something."

"Wait, he was promoted?" she asked.

"Well yeah, oh wait I forgot you bailed on the last turn because we told the truth." he said as Celina tried her hardest not to punch him.

"That was stupid of me." she said as Chazz nodded.

"It was. Why, you miss him?" he asked as Celina sighed.

"No, it's just that… it would be really awkward not around." she said.

"Not have who around?" all of them jumped as they saw Jaden with a confused face. How did they not hear him?

"How did you get here so quietly?!" yelled Chazz as Jaden shrugged. "Also, shouldn't you be with those snobs?" he asked as Jaden chuckled with that as he began scratching the back of his head.

"Well about that… Have you heard of a rumour of on the night before we saw the King Of Game's deck that there was an armadillo running around?" he asked as they all looked at him with shocked expressions, sans Syrus.

"Wait… that was you?!" yelled Celina as she remembered seeing an armadillo roaming around when she was visiting the Obelisk Blue dorm with Alexis.

"Haha, yep! Once they found out, they kicked me out of the Obelisk Blue dorm." he said. He was an Obelisk Blue for 5 minutes.

"Why am I not surprised?" asked Chazz as he shook his head.

"Yeah, but still, I am glad that you are still here though." Celina said as Jaden smiled.

"Thanks! I am glad that I get to see you too!" he said as Celina's face turned red.

"What?!"

"Wh-" before Jaden could ask, both Syrus and Hassleberry tackled him, knocking him off the rails, breaking them as they fell onto the ground with tears on their faces as they yelled.

"JAY/SARGE, I MISSED YOU!" they both yelled at the same time as Chazz and Celina cringed at the same time when Jaden fell on his back.

"Not again!" Celina yelled as they began running towards Jaden and his two best friends.

Looks like somethings never change.

BOOM! DONE! KABLAM! How did you guys enjoyed this chapter?! Liked it? Hated it? Find it meh?

Well, I enjoyed writing it and the duel, which was fun and hard to write for Frightfur and the fact that this is only one of the few duels that Sora has in the entire season, which is the Season where alot of characters will duel, is kind of shocking. I might have made some misplays here and there, but I hoped I did well.

In this Sora did kind of held back towards Jaden, but don't get fooled, he would've still struggled if he went all in, but would've won the duel at the end, as this won't be the last duel they had, but I assure you Sora and Ray aren't evil in this.

Now onto the characters, Sora is a great character that I really did enjoy at his series, loved his deck, personality and his duel against Shay is easily, without a single doubt, no questions about it, the BEST DUEL in Arc V. Nothing even comes close. It will be somewhat difficult to write him, but I can manage.

Ray Shadows/Vector is my favourite character in Zexal, but it was mainly due to his psychotic personality of Vector which I will gladly call him my favourite Anime Villain. Even better than Madara. Why? Because he didn't lose like a fucking pussy.

In a few days, I will go to the beach with my family, so if you are wondering when's the next update, it will be late, but it would be worth the wait, even if there is no duels in the chapter.

I started watching Bleach, pretty decent, and began reading Black Clover, and I love it. My favourite fight is Magna vs Dante so far, but I am on Chapter 306.
