The duel between Aster Phoenix, one of the strongest duelists on the planet, one of the youngest Pro Duelists, the person who defeated The Kaiser of Duel Academy, and Jaden Yuki, the man that managed to get through so many situations that should be impossible, the former Final Keeper, has only begun.
They were in Duel Academy's Duel Arena where no one except for the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and his friends could watch so they didn't get any more strategies from Aster's deck.
They were there because Aster made it public that he was going to duel the person that copied his style and wanted to prove that he is the best Hero duelist, but all of them thought that wasn't the only reason why, but they don't really know why.
Not to mention there was something about Aster that made this uncomfortable, but no one can put their finger on it.

"Guests go first!" yelled Aster as he drew the top card of his deck as he looked at his entire hand. It was filled with his Heroes, a Fusion card and two Traps that could help him, but he was mainly looking at one of his Traps.
It was a card that would help him immensely to show his true strength, he will show him that he can't escape Destiny. But first, "I activate Polymerization! I fuse from my hand my Elemental HERO Burstinatrix with my Elemental HERO Avian, to create one powerful guy!" he yelled as the female Fire Heroine and the male Wind Hero appeared as they both turned into red and blue data as they began to swirl around each other for a couple of seconds, as they then smacked into each other.
Aster then began his chant, "Hero of Flames! Hero of Feathers! Create the embodiment of Justice! I Fusion Summon! Come out, Elemental HERO Phoenix Enforcer!" he said the same chant that he did against his duel with Zane as they all watched him summon one part of the combo that defeated him.
It was a monster that had green feathers close his eyes, as his wings were like that of Avian, but were more slick and more pointy, as his claws were that from a saw weapon and from only one hand, as the skin was black and red with a wild physique as he had a dragon like tail.
(Elemental HERO Phoenix Enforcer: Fusion - Level 6 - Fire Warrior - Attack: 2100. Defense: 1200.)
"He summoned that monster, already?" asked Ray in shock.
"It wouldn't make any sense not to since this duel is something that no one could lose." said Celina, "At least we know that he can't be destroyed in battle."
Aster looked at the monster. A small nostalgic smile appeared on his face as he remembered many things from his past, but then dropped it, "Sure you may know his effect, but don't get cocky! I know every Elemental Heroes' effects, so you can't catch me off guard. I will end my turn by setting a card face down." he said as a card was then set vertically behind Phoenix Enforcer.
Turn 2. Jaden - 4000 lp - 5 cards
"That may be true, Aster, but like a Hero, even if the opponent knows their entire strategy, the Hero always comes up on top! I draw!" he yelled out as he drew the top card from his deck and saw the powerful Spell card that was just used moments ago.
He looked at his hand. This hand was made to support him to deal damage and to keep his monster from being destroyed the very next turn. He looked at the monster that was just summoned and nodded.
He had to do this, "Since you summoned out your ace monster, how about I return the favour?! I activate Polymerization! I fuse from my hand my Elemental Hero Burstinatrix with my Elemental Hero Avian to create one of my favourite monsters!" he yelled out as his heroine with a red revealing outfit and his hero that looked like a bird appeared on the field as they were then turned into red and green data as they began to swirl around each other, to then smack themselves as they created an explosion.
Jaden then began to chant, "Here comes my favourite Hero of all time, Elemental Hero Flame Wingman!" he yelled out as then from the explosion came out the very monster that Aster remembered the most. The monster he gave him.
Aster gripped his hand and gritted his teeth as the monster revealed itself. It was a monster that was like a demon, the same as the one that was used by a different Hero user, as the head was long with red eyes and a dark face, his muscles were defined well as on his legs, abs, arms, left part of the body was green, while everything else was either black or red, as he had an angelic like wing at his left, as he had a dragon head for an arm and a dragon tail.
(Elemental HERO Flame Wingman: Fusion - Level 6 - Wind Warrior - Attack: 2100. Defense: 1200.)
Aster was quiet as he saw the monster that he gave to Jaden the last time he saw him when he was a kid, a god damn kid, and the very monster that was an almost equal to his Phoenix Enforcer, but he knew that he had to defeat him and this monster.
Phoenix Enforcer and Flame Wingman looked at each other, with the way their eyes were going, it looked like they were having an actual conversation with only using their eyes and Honest felt that the same thing. After a few seconds, they both close their eyes, knowing that there was no other way to do this.
The rest looked at it. Both worried for their friend because they knew that this would be one of the toughest duels he would ever have in his life, but they would be lying if they weren't excited to see two Hero Duelists going at it.
"Sure our monsters have the same amount of attack points and that monster has an immunity against battle destruction, but that doesn't mean you are immune from taking battle damage," Jaden took a card from his hand, "I activate H - Heated Heart!"
A flaming stylized blue H appeared on the field, "Until the end of the turn, one of my heroes gain 500 attack points!" Jaden said as the H went straight towards Flame Wingman as it absorbed it as it is on fire, well, even more on fire than it was before.
Elemental HERO Flame Wingman: 2100 - 2600 attack points
"Now, time to battle! Flame Wingman attacks your Phoenix Enforcer! Exploding Fireball!" he yelled as his Flame Wingman as he raised his dragon head arm towards his brethren as then a stronger ball of fire that was hotter than usual and bigger if he didn't activate his spell card and went straight towards the Phoenix Enforcer in a quick manner.
However, Aster was quicker, "Don't even think about it, bro! I activate my Trap, Waboku!" a pair of nuns wearing blue robes appeared on the field in front of Phoenix Enforcer, "This Trap makes it so my monsters can't be destroyed by battle and I don't take any damage for the rest of the duel!" he yelled as they all blocked the attack, like they were using some kind of Water magic.
"Ahh man, Jay didn't deal anything!" moaned Syrus.
"Fret not, this is the start of the duel, and we don't even know how the tides of the duel would change during all of this." said Bastion as the rest continued to watch this duel.
Flame Wingman returned his hand where it originally was as Jaden gripped his hand into a ball, "Well, at least I cleared one of your cards," he said as he took a card from his hand, "I will set a card face down and call it a turn." he said as a card was set vertically behind his favourite hero of all time.

Turn 3. Aster - 4000 lp - 2 cards
Aster simply drew his card as he saw the two monsters looking at each other as they were equal in attack points, but everyone knew that one good attack and his Phoenix Enforcer would be the winner of this one stroke duel. He looked at his hand and saw the potential combos that he could make with this hand.
"My hand is severely lacking some cards and from what I am currently seeing so is yours, so how about this fair trade? I activate Spell Book From The Pot!" he activated as the card appeared on his field. "This card has a nifty ability, in that it allows not only me, but also you to draw 3 cards from our decks!" he yelled out as both of them drew 3 cards from their deck.
They both looked at it and Jaden saw a great future combo if he could pull it off right with his Field Spell and his newly added Equip Spell that could shut off Phoenix Enforcer's ability and would allow his monster to destroy his.
While Aster saw the cards and saw another card that would benefit on the next turn if it his Elemental Hero was destroyed as he saw the Traps in his hand. He shook his head, that wouldn't be effective at all. He should stop, he stopped thinking about him for years… so why?
Why can't he stop now? He gripped his hand. Not at the duel right now, but for himself at the current moment. He had to get it together! There was a duel going on right about now, so he has to act right here and now!
"You know? I think it is time for me to stop beating around the bush and try to take you out! I activate my 2nd copy of my Polymerization!" he yelled as they looked at him like crazy.
"Already?! He just drew into that card!" yelled Celina in shock as she realized now the situation at the current moment, "Hold up, don't tell me you are going to summon-"
"The monster I used to defeat Zanny?" Aster turned to Celina, "Why yes of course! I can't not show my strongest Elemental Hero, now can I?"
"This is going to end really badly." said Sora as Ray nodded.
"Uh huh."
"I fuse from my hand my Elemental Hero Sparkman with my Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer to create the embodiment of Justice!" he yelled as a dark version of Sparkman appeared on the field only for both of them to be turned into red and green data as they swirled around each other until they slammed into each other to create an explosion.
He began to chant, "Hero Of Lightning! The Enforcing Hero! Combine to show that no where can evil lurk with his shining power! I Fusion Summon! Come out, Elemental Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer!" as then on his side of the field appeared the very same monster that destroyed Zane's strongest monster.
It was a monster with dark skin with a very decent build, with gray spikes that acts like hair, wearing a green jumpsuit from his shoulders all the way down to his knees, as the rest of his body was silver metal, as his wings were that of a silver eagle with sharp claws like he was the Wolverine.
(Elemental HERO Shining Phoenix Enforcer: Fusion - Level 8 - Fire Warrior - Attack: 2500. Defense: 2100.)
"Here it is…"
"The monster that defeated Zane…" said both Alexis and Yusuke as their eyes narrowed.
"Let's see if the Slacker can keep up with that monster." Crowler looked over to Jaden as he was staring at the monster with a determined look on his face, but also with a smile on his face.
"We all know what this monster can do, don't we? But for those with memory loss, allow me to explain! He can't be destroyed by battle like his previous form and now for the extra part! He gains 300 attack points for every Elemental Hero monster in my graveyard!" he yelled out as he raised his arm, "Go, Hero Roll Call!" he yelled out as Sparkman, Avian, Burstinatrix and Phoenix Enforcer appeared behind him like they were holograms with confident looks and poses.
"I counted 4! So that means his attack points are now…"
Elemental HERO Shining Phoenix Enforcer: 2500 + 4 x 300 = 2500 + 1200 = 3700 attack points
"...3700 attack points!" their eyes widened when they saw those massive attack points and knew that if Jaden doesn't do anything, he would be defeated very quickly.
"Time to battle! Shining Phoenix Enforcer attacks Flame Wingman with Shining Shoot!" Aster roared as then electricity went all around the claws for his Phoenix Enforcer as the claws became even more stronger and powerful as the monster then began to charge towards the Flame Wingman.
"I won't let you! Go, Hero Barrier!" a disk came out of his Trap card as it then went in front of Flame Wingman as then a fully visible shield appeared as it stopped Shining Phoenix Enforcer's claws, but this time they didn't break. "This card negates an attack if I control an Elemental Hero!"
Shining Phoenix Enforcer sneered and growled at the other Hero duelist as it then went back towards Aster, "Well, it looks like your Flame Wingman isn't done yet it seems like it, but don't worry, I have a vision that his demise will come soon."
Aster then looked at two cards from his hand as he then took them, deciding the turn his strongest Elemental Hero is destroyed he will bust out them, "I will call it a turn after I set these two cards face down." he said as two cards were then set vertically behind Shining Phoenix Enforcer.

Turn 4. Jaden - 4000 lp - 4 cards
Jaden took a deep breath as he knew that his Flame Wingman wouldn't be enough to destroy Aster's monster as he looked at his hand. Sparkman, Bladedge, Spam Mail and Hero's Rule 1.
Cards that won't help him at this current turn, but still he could still turn it in this turn, right here and now! He still had a chance to turn this around and he won't give up at this. It was just the start of the duel!
"My turn…" he placed his fingers on the top of his deck and closed his eyes. He breathed in and out, he needed the perfect card to help him at this current moment! "I DRAW!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck as he then looked at and then grinned.
"Awesome! I activate the Field Spell, Fusion Recycling Plant!" he said as the Field Spell zone appeared as he placed in it as everyone saw the field began to morph into a different look. It was a garbage zone as there were machines working with picking up the trash with a couple of cards being around there. At least for Jaden's side.
The rest that haven't seen this card looked around, except for Aster who looked at Jaden the entire time as he knew what this card can do and he wonders if he also has the same monsters as he does, or at least one of them.
"This Field Spell is pretty sweet and I will show you why! I can discard one card from my hand," he said as he revealed as the card was Spam Mail and sent it to his graveyard, "to my grave so I can add back a Polymerization from my grave or deck, so I will take it from my graveyard!" he said as then the machines began to go at it as they looked for the card in question.
It lasted for 15 seconds as he then took a card from the pile and then sent it directly towards the Slifer Red as he caught it without even looking at it which they have to admit was a pretty cool move.
"That's not all! Spam Mail's effect activates! When it is sent to the grave while it is from my hand, field or deck by a card effect, I get to draw 1 card from my deck and depending on what the type of card it is, I can target one card of the same type and you have to return them back to hand!" he yelled out as Aster's eyes widened when he heard that.
"Say what?!" Aster yelled as everyone was at the edge of their seat when he said that.
"At the very least, it is a 1 in 3 chance to draw into a monster, but also a 2 in 3 chance to draw into a Spell or Trap." Skye bit her tongue when she said this.
"Yeah, but knowing him, those chances are like a 90%." said Celina as the second years nodded to that.
Jaden breathed in and out as he placed his fingers on the top of his deck, "Here goes…" he drew the card with his eyes closed, "...something!" he yelled as he looked at the card as he opened his eyes. He smirked ear to ear, "Alright! The card I drew was my Elemental Hero Wildheart! So say goodbye to your Phoenix Enforcer!" he yelled as then a purple fog appeared from his graveyard that began to engulf Aster's field.
"I am not letting that happen! I discard my Angel From A Different World!" he said as then an angel with deep blue eyes, gray hair wearing a white dress with wings like that of an Fallen Angel, "If a monster I control would leave the field for a card effect, I can discard it to negate that effect!" he yelled as her monster showed off its wings directly towards everyone as then she combined her arms as then a bright light appeared from it like it was energy and destroyed the fog.
"Sadly, my monster's effects are negated." Aster said as Shining Phoenix Enforcer lost all of that light.
Elemental HERO Shining Phoenix Enforcer: 3700 - 2500 attack points
"Buuuuuuuuuuuut, I get to draw 1 extra card!" he yelled as he drew the top card and saw it. His eyes grew dark as he saw the Field Spell and knew that if his monster is destroyed… for Jaden… everything will go downhill.
"Hold on a sec! That means it can be destroyed by battle!" yelled Ray in hope as the rest of them did smile as they realized that good part of the effect.
Jaden smirked, "Well, time to bust out the big guns! I activate Polymerization! I Fuse from my hand my Sparkman with my Elemental Hero Flame Wingman in order to create my strongest Elemental Hero!" he yelled out as his monsters turned into red and green data. They swirled around each other and then smacked into each other the same minute.
He began to chant, "Here comes the evolution of Flame Wingman! Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman!" as then from the explosion came out a powerful Fusion, a monster that had green skin, as the armour was more silver than his Phoenix counter part as it had yellow lining all around the monster as the wings were that of an angel as well. It was as bright as the sun which the people had to cover their eyes so they don't blind themselves by it.
(Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman: Fusion - Level 8 - Light Warrior - Attack: 2500. Defense: 2100.)
Flare Wingman and Phoenix Enforcer both looked each other in the eyes. It was a somber reunion to say the least by the two brothers with almost the same strength of the two, but they knew that it can't be stopped.
"My Flare Wingman can be destroyed by battle, but it does have the same effect! Since you had your Roll Call, how about I have my own?! Hero Roll Call!" he yelled out as then holograms of Avian, Burstinatrix, Sparkman and Flame Wingman all appeared on the field with their arms crossed.
Elemental HERO Shining Phoenix Enforcer: 2500 + 4 x 300 = 2500 + 1200 = 3700 attack points
"That's what I like to see, Sarge! You have enough attack points to make that weak Fusion monster into some good chicken and don't worry! I am brining the BBQ sauce!" Hassleberry yelled out.
"Thanks, Hassleberry, but I don't really need some for now! Because this one attack will be enough!" Jaden punched the air, "Go, Flare Wingman, attack his Phoenix Enforcer! Solar Flare!" he yelled as his Light Hero monster began to dash straight towards Phoenix Enforcer as he was ready to punch the Fusion monster with his Light infused fist while Phoenix Enforcer readied its claws with light.
Both monsters attacked each other at the same time, however that doesn't mean that both monster's attack landed. Phoenix Enforcer's blade was mere inches in front of Flare Wingman's, while his fist was in the monster's stomach. He then raised the body with his eyes closed, "I am sorry, Phoenix." and with that, his arm turned into light that pierced through Enforcer's body, making a powerful explosion.
"He fell for it!" thought Aster with a smirk as they had to cover their bodies from the explosion.

"That's not all! You lose life points equal to your monster's attack points!" Aster then looked at Shining Flare Wingman not even moving his body, raised his arm as an orb of light went straight towards him which he flinched at.

The crew, and secretly Crowler, cheered for the destruction of Aster's strongest monster being destroyed, "AHH YES! JAY DID IT! HE…" Syrus began to see Aster with an unwavering smile, "won…?"
"You fell for it, Jaden. You fell for my plan." he said simply as he looked at his field, "Tell me Jaden, do you remember the types of Heroes?"
"Uhm, what kind of question is tha-"
"Answer the question." he demanded.
Jaden placed a finger on his chin, "If I have to think: There are the good and self righteous Heroes that do it for the good of the heart, the Heroes that are corrupted by money and fame, the secret Heroes that are hidden from the masses, and Heroes that are like villains, but with good motives. Why do you ask?" he asked him.
Aster smirked, "Well, it is simple. Your Heroes represent the good hearted Heroes, while the second and third ones don't exist, the last one is the one that I am most familiar with."
"What is he talking about?" asked Bonaparte.
Aster looked at the Vice Chancellor, "Well, to cut things short, the Elemental Heroes aren't the only type of Heroes out there!"
Gasps filled the Arena, with the only exception being that of Jaden.
"Right, Jaden? You remember, right?" He asked him a question.
Jaden looked stumped to say the least as he tried his absolute best, but nothing. He hit his head to try and remember, but nothing… He couldn't remember! When he tried, he could see two eyes looking at him, both with different colours.
Aster's smile dropped as he realized it, "You don't remember, do you?" He asked with a pained voice.
"Lo-look, Aster, I-"
"I don't want to hear it! Are you saying that you don't remember me?!" He yelled.
"What?! No! Of course not! It is just…. Just…"
"Just what?" He asked him with an icy cold voice.
"...I don't know." He frowned as Aster looked at him with a hurt expression.
"...so you don't remember me giving you your two favourite Heroes?" He asked as everyone's eyes widened.
Elemental HERO Flame Wingman and Shining Flare Wingman were originally Aster's? That made sense on why they are Jaden's favourite Heroes… because they hold sentimental values to him.
"No- I mean, yes I do, but, I-" Jaden can't form sentences as Aster gritted his teeth.
It hurt Aster because of how much it meant that his friend from his past doesn't remember him well, as he even remembers the time when he first saw his monsters.
"Destiny and Vision Heroes?" Jaden tilted his head as he saw the deck of monsters unfold.
"Yeah, they are my dad's own creation." Aster rubbed his shoulders, "They aren't as popular as the Elemental Heroes, but they are special to me because dad made them for me to use before they are wide released." He said.
"Wow, that is pretty sweet to hear that from ujak Sean. These are so cool!" He said with stars in his eyes as Aster looked at him.
"Really? Most kids our age think that they look like villains." He said sadly as he remembered how the kids bullied him for using those Duel Monsters and even called him a villain.
"I meeeaaaan, they aren't wrong." Aster frowned, "but they aren't correct either." He looked at him once more, "Sure they look creepy, but like tata always says, never judge a cover by its book, or was it the other way around? Well anyways, despite them looking creepy, I still think they are pretty neat and who is to say that they can't be heroic?" He asked as Aster smiled at him.
"Thanks, Jaden, that means alot to me." He said.
"Of course! Always for my best buddy!"
Aster gripped his fists into a ball. He was frustrated. He was forgotten by his friend from the past. Like he was just a memory.
"Fine then, since you forgot about my deck, how about I just show it to everyone?! I activate my Trap, D - Signal and then I chain my D - Time!" Both of his traps went off at the same time.
"When an Elemental Hero I control is destroyed, I get to add a Destiny Hero from my deck with an equal or lower level!" He yelled as he took the card that was just popped from his deck, "I pick my Destiny Hero - Dread Servant from my deck to my hand!"
Everyone gasped when they heard that, "DESTINY HERO?!"
"What Hero?!" yelled out Chazz.
"Destiny, son! He already said it twice." said Hassleberry.
Jaden mumbled, "Destiny… and Vision."
Sora and Ray looked at each other in shock as they looked over to two of the four cards that were given by Sarina that fit that name which was a Synchro and Tuner monster, which had the name of Destiny Hero, which meant that he could be a potential key holder.
But the question remained for the other two… who could get the monster by the name of Armed Neos?
Then a stylized D appear from his Trap card like Hero Signal, "When a monster I control is destroy, Destiny Signal allows me to special summon a Level 4 or lower Destiny Hero from my deck," a card then popped out his duel disk, "So come out, Destiny Hero - Doom Lord!"
As then on his field appeared a brand new Hero that almost never saw before. It was a monster with pale white skin, a blue gem on his head and red eyes, wearing an armour that was pitch black with black leather with yellow lining, wearing a red robe.

With this… they knew that the real duel has begun.

A bird was seen flying above the dark blue ocean of an island as it was going faster and faster.
Until we shatter the road of light and darkness
The bird flew higher and higher as it went upwards revealing the island to be Duel Academy as Jaden, Celina, Syrus, Chazz, Bastion, Alexis and Yusuke were standing on the cliff staring at the island.
Then a brief montage of their ace monsters appeared on the screen one by one as they were: Elemental HERO Flame Wingman, Lunalight Cat Dancer, Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill, Armed Dragon LV10, Water Dragon, Cyber Angel Amaterasu and Honest.
Yo guess who's back, everybody get down!
As then a brief montage appeared of a white background and black figures. The figures quickly revealed themselves to be: Bastion, Yusuke, Chazz, Alexis, Syrus, Kite, Dennis…

…Zane and Celina, as then we get a close up shot at Jaden whose eyes turned to amber for a slight second as Aster Phoenix briefly shined in his eye.
As then a title card appeared by the name of "Yugioh GX: Rewrite - The Society of Light!" as series of moments appeared from the previous year, like Zane defeating Jaden, Syrus defeating the Tyler Sisters, Celina and Alexis dueling Jaden and Bastion, Chazz standing tall ahead of Jaden, Zane defeating Nightshroud, Celina defeating Camula, Alexis defeating Dennis, Bastion defeating Tania, Kite and Chazz dueling each other, Celina defeating Yuri, Jaden defeating Amneal, Jaden with amber eyes staring at the Sacred Beasts and then the graduation match.
Cursed by the twist of fate, I'm falling down!
As then we see a bright light appearing in motion as Sartorius was on the front with his eyes staring at the audience, which was then carried over to Aster's deck who had a grin on his face.
The song of harmony I played out with you
Then there was a line break in the middle as we see Celina in a white dimension that was that of an ocean as three dragons roared, while Zane was in a similar one, but with a black one with 2 glowing eyes staring at him.
Lies in the far-away past
Then we see the same line break having Jaden and Aster with their back showing to the other person as they raised their heads as their Heroes were shown respectfully, but the last one was a brand new one, with his arms crossed and above the two.
The scent of your strength still lies in my heart
Hassleberry's eyes turned into a dinosaur's one for a brief second as on the opposite end was a duelist from South Academy with a crocodile near the duelist who had a grin on his face.
And I can't shake it off
Sora and Ray were standing near each other with smiles on their faces, but then they were flashed with images that told a different story.
Eh, waiting just isn't enough anymore Yay Yeah!
Jaden was then standing on the cliff with a happy and excited smile as he got out his deck and readied his brand new duel disk as the rest of them did the same, as even Zane did the same time, but at a Pro Duellist circuit.

Now we see Jaden, Celina, Syrus, Alexis, Chazz, Bastion, Yusuke, Skye, Hassleberry, Sora, Ray, Zane and Kite in one corner ready for a duel as their duel disks were ready, as on the other side we have Aster Phoenix with a shit eating grin, a brief, but visible outline of Sartorius with a void face, with Bonaperte and Crowler on Aster's side, but the latter had a conflicted face.

Aster stood tall with a grin on his face as then two sets of Heroes appeared behind him ready for a fight as the Grand Jupiter stood tall behind them as Jaden's eyes flashed white for a second, but then turned into his regular brown colours.

As Jaden went closer and closer, brief images of Celina, Syrus, Alexis, Bastion, Chazz, Yusuke, Hassleberry, Ray, Sora, Skye, Kite and Zane flashed as then a hero appeared and charged towards Aster Phoenix.

Neos and Grand Jupiter raised their fists and as soon as they clashed, it created a massive explosion which then brief images of the Light of Destruction and Nightshroud could be seen, as then the explosion engulfed them as well as then the crew were then seen standing proud and tall, ready for a new battle.

Jaden kept staring at the monster as if it was an old friend, but he knew that he can't let his emotions get the best of him. So he took a breath, "Well, no matter what, I will win this! I throw down a facedown and call it a turn!" he said as a card was then set vertically behind his strongest Elemental Hero.
Then the machines began moving all on their own as they tried looking for a specific card as then they took one card and threw it at Jaden's hand, "Thanks to my Field Spell, at the End Phase, I can add a monster that was used as a Fusion Material for a Fusion monster, so I add back my Sparkman." he said as he showed Aster his card and then returned it to his hand.

Turn 5. Aster - 300 lp - 2 cards
Despite him having the least amount of life points imaginable, for some unknown reason why, it felt like he was in control the entire time and that was mainly because they had no clue about the Destiny Hero archetype or how it worked.
As soon as he drew the top card of his deck, Jaden sprung into action, "I activate my Trap! Hero's Rule 1: Five Freedoms! With this, I can banish up to 5 cards in your graveyard, so I pick all of your Elemental Heroes!" he said as 5 cards popped out of Aster's graveyard to which he took them.
"Fine then, guess I have to work only with my Destiny Heroes then," said Aster as he looked at the card he drew from his deck and nodded. It was the best possible card he could've gotten this turn, he then turned to him as he took out a card from his hand.
"I really don't like how we have a zone that looks like it came from the trash, actually it might it is from it, so how about I fix it on my side?! I activate my Field Spell Clock Tower Prison!" the field spell zone appeared as he then placed the card in that zone as it then began to morph as the terrain changed into a more Victorian style, at least for Aster's side, as it was dark like the midnight with Big Ben behind him.
"This card has a great effect, however it won't be active for now as it needs 4 Clock Counters to work with," he said with a small smile but it was as real as a plastic cake as he then took a card from his hand, "But wait, what do we have here? A card that helps with that slightly? That's great as you are gonna meet him! Come out, Destiny Hero - Dread Servant!"
On his field appeared a new monster, as his skin was dark blue, had medieval armour on around his shoulders, arms like gauntlets, has purple abs as he had a dark green robe, black hair that are like dreadlocks, red eyes and a gray helmet on as he wore a staff with a black orb on the top and a golden shield on his left hand.

Aster threw his hand out, "I activate Dread Servant's effect! My Clock Tower Prison gains a Clock Counter because he was Normal Summoned! So move the clock of Doom and show him his destiny!" he yelled as Dread Servant raised his staff with the orb on top as then the orb glew in a blue colour as the Big Ben's Clock went from 12.:00 AM to 3:00 AM.

"I wonder what the effect will be when it has 4 counters." said Skye as Yusuke looked at it with a sweatdrop.
"I don't know, but I am guessing a very game changing effect." he said as the rest saw Aster thrusting his hand forward.
"Now attacking you while having a 3700 attack points is pretty stupid, so how about I don't attack at all this turn for the price of activating Doom Lord's effect!?" Aster yelled out as Doom Lord began to charge at the Shining Flare Wingman. "I can banish your monster without attacking it!"
"WHAT?!" everyone yelled at the same time.
"You heard me! Doom Lord banish Shining Flare Wingman with Impeding Doom Grip!" he yelled as before Shining Flare Wingman could counter attack with a jab, his face was grabbed by Doom Lord with a grip so hard that it would be impossible for him to get his face away from it. Doom Lord's claws made it even worse as he could feel his flesh being penetrated by him as then with one more squeeze, Flare Wingman disappeared.
"Flare Wingman!" yelled Jaden as they all saw his strongest monster being defeated in a quick and easy manner which showed that Aster isn't holding back any more.
"Don't worry about him, he returns the 2nd of my Standby Phases after he was banished." he said simply as he then took the last card from his deck, "Now, I will let you go after I set this card." a card was set vertically behind Dread Servant and Doom Lord.

Turn 6. Jaden - 4000 lp - 3 cards
Jaden frowned seeing his most powerful monster being banished without any trouble whatsoever like Aster was just playing around with a monster that didn't have even half the attack points of his monster, and even then, he knew that was only part of his deck. He could tell that he wasn't using one more of his Heroes.
"My turn, I draw." said Jaden as he drew the top card of his deck as then Aster pointed to the sky, as they saw Big Ben begin moving.
"Wait a sec, my Clock Tower Prison has an effect during this time! During your Standby Phases, it gains 1 Clock Counter!" their eyes widened as they saw the clock going from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM.

"Oh no! If Aster gets two more of those counters, it's effect will activate!" Skye called out in alarm.
"That means he has this turn and the next to win this duel before it goes off!" Celina's eyes widened when she said as Aster tried his absolute hardest not to smirk at what they said because they didn't know how wrong they were.
Jaden threw out his hand, "I activate my Fusion Recycling Plant's effect! I ditch a card from my hand like my Sparkman," he said as he sent the card to his hand to his grave as the machines in the background began moving around to look for a certain Spell card, "So I can add Polymerization from my graveyard to my hand!" he said as the machines got the card he was looking for as he caught it with ease.
"Which I will now play!" he said as he took 2 cards from his hand, "I fuse from my hand my Elemental Hero Wildheart and Elemental Hero Bladedge to create one of my most powerful Heroes!" he said as a warrior from a tribe of tough warriors and a hero with a sharp armour appear on the field as they were then turned into red and green data as they began to swirl around each other until they smacked into each other with and explosion.
He then began to chant, "Here comes the Hero that combines technology and hunters, Elemental Hero Wildedge!" as then on his side of the field appeared a hero with a really good tan and build, as he had leather belts around his arm, legs and torso, as he wore a massive broadsword like he was a mage with no magic, as he wore a golden armour around his right leg and left arm as it had spikes on them with golden helmet.

"Aww yeah! Jay summoned the best monster for this situation!" Syrus cheered.
"How so, Private?" asked Hassleberry as he raised his eyebrows as Yusuke began to explain the monster's effect.
"Because, Wildedge has an effect that it can attack every monster on the field that his opponent has." the first years were surprised to hear that effect from a monster of that situation.
"That's right, and even if the set card was a card like Shift so he could change the attack target to his defense positioned Dread Servant, it won't matter." explained Celina with a wide grin on her face.
"So if this attack succeeds…"
"Jaden won!" began Ray as Skye smiled.
"You heard them! Elemental Hero Wildedge attack and destroy both his Dread Servant and Doom Lord! Scimitar Slash!" he yelled as Wildedge took out his broadsword to his arms with one hand as he began charging towards Dread Servant with the speed of a raging bull as he jumped down with his sword raised in the air as then when it reached down to the Dread Servant he slashed the poor monster creating an explosion.
Once the monster was destroyed, Wildedge turned to Doom Lord as then he raised his right hand and shot the powerful spikes towards him as the monster tried to block it, but failed as it created an even bigger explosion as it covered Aster who had a smirk on his face.
As then they all watched with excited looks on their faces and saw the explosion and dust began to fade away to see Aster standing there with a wide expression which confused them, but what confused them was his life points.

"WHAT?!"
"HOW?!"
"HACKS, I CALL HACKS!" yelled most of the crowd at the same time as Aster looked at them.
"Oh don't call it hacks my dear friend, call it my Eternal Dread!" he said as they all looked to Aster's lone activated Trap card, "When this card is activated my Clock Tower Prison gains 2 Clock Counters, which I activated before you declared an attack!" he yelled as Big Ben went from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

"And get this! Once this card has 4 Counters, I don't take any damage at all!" he said as they looked at him in pure shock.
"Excuse me?!"
"That means no matter what Jaden does, Aster doesn't lose any life points if that card is still up!" Alexis couldn't believe her ears when she heard Aster saying that.
Jaden looked at the current situation and he knew that no matter what he does, Aster will always be one step ahead of him. It was like that always when they were kids as from what he can remember, he remembers never winning against him.
He sighed, "I will throw down a facedown and call it a turn," a card was set vertically behind Wildedge as then he raised his hand as the machines picked up a single card from the trash and threw it, "And don't forget Fusion Recycling Plant's effect! I can add a monster that was used as a Fusion Material at the End Phase! So welcome back my Wildheart!" he said as he added to his hand.
Turn 7. Aster - 300 lp - 0 cards
Despite Aster having no cards in his hand, no monsters on the field, no Traps and only a Field Spell on his field, everyone could tell that he was in control of this entire duel as he looked like he was toying with him.
He drew the top card of his deck as he looked at his card and the way he smiled, it made them uneasy as they weren't sure what was going to happen this turn, but they only knew one thing: It wasn't going to be pretty.

"I think it is time for me to stop playing around! As right here, you will meet one of my strongest monsters! I activate the Spell card, Fusion Destiny!" he said as he inserted the card in his duel disk as it appeared on the field as 2 cards popped out of his deck.
"Thanks to this, I can fuse monsters from my deck so I can Fusion Summon 1 powerful Destiny Hero Fusion Monster!" he said as everyone's eyes widened.
"Wha- what did he just say?!"
"From the deck?!"
"Sacre bleu!"
"Ahh man!"
"Great Scott!"
"Sam Hill!"
"Aw shit!"
"That's right! I fuse from my deck, in order to Fusion Summon a Destiny Hero! So I fuse from my deck my Destiny Hero Celestial and Destiny Hero Malicious!" he said as then on his field appeared a hero wearing red and black spandex with what looks like a saw behind and what looked like an actual demon as they were then turned into red and green data as they began to swirl around each other and smacked each other.
Aster began to chant, "Hero of the dark sky! Hero of the Demons! Now become one and reign in the pitch-black future! I Fusion Summon! Come out, Destiny Hero Dystopia!" he yelled loudly as then on his side of the field appeared a monster that made Jaden's Elemental Heroes look like pushovers.
It was a tall hero with a purple mask as the front of it was yellow as he had a stylized red D on it, as there were blue lines all over the monster as his fingers were yellow as so was his shoulders, torso and legs as the rest of the body was dark purple.

Everyone looked at the monster with pure shock as they saw a monster that could rival, or even surpass, the Elemental Heroes as they didn't know what it could be, but judging from the looks of the monster it is going to be one powerful monster.
"See this, Jaden?! This is the monster that will determine your fate, your vision, your destiny!" Aster yelled out as he took a card from his graveyard, "Now, I will activate my monster's special ability! When he is Fusion Summoned, I get to target 1 Destiny Hero that is Level 4 or lower, like my Destiny Hero Celestial," he said as he showed his Level 4 Hero monster at Jaden, as he then smirked, "So he could deal you damage equal to his attack points!"
"Ah sweet baby corn!" yelled Jaden in shock.
Aster thrusted his hand forward, "Go, Dystopia! Pummeling Palm!" he yelled as then around his palm appeared dark purple energy that looked almost poisonous as it was brewing with negative emotions as it then threw it at Jaden, creating a small explosion making him grunt.

Jaden: 4000 - 2400 lp
Once the dust had settled, Jaden appeared from it, with scratches all over him and bruises from the powerful energy attack. Despite it being mostly holograms, it still hurt a lot to him. He raised his arm to show that he isn't down for the count just yet, but that didn't scare Aster at all.
"You managed to survive that blow? Impressive man, but I am sorry to say that this is only the start of my turn! Destiny Hero Dystopia will now attack and destroy your Wildedge!" their eyes widened in alarm as Dystopia jumped up as his fist was engulfed in a black magic-like energy that would be ready to destroy anything around him. "Dystopian Destruction!"
Dystopia did a flip in the air and began to charge directly at Wildedge who took his broadsword for the attack, as Dystopia raised his fist for one powerful jab as it then threw one at Wildedge as the monster in question tried to block it with his broadsword, but the dark Hero was too powerful as its fist then cracked Wildedge's sword and smashed him into the ground, creating a small crater.
Almost everyone was blown off their feet when that happened.

Jaden: 2400 - 2200 lp
Jaden looked at a monster that easily destroyed one of his strongest monsters in one powerful attack as he then threw his hand out, "Well, since you activated a Signal card, how about I return the favour?! Go, Hero Signal!" his Trap activated as from it appeared a stylized H on it as Aster didn't look at it.
"When a monster I control is destroyed, I get to special summon 1 Elemental Hero from my deck," he said as then a card popped out of his duel disk as he then took it, "So come on out, one of my most reliable monsters, Elemental Hero Stratos!"
As then on his field appeared a hero with dark blue skin, with a vizor and silver helmet, with blue armour on his torso with gray lining, blue and silver gauntlets, at the back of the body, there were jet wings with razors on them with gray pants.

A card then popped out of his deck, "When he is summoned, I get to add a Hero monster from my deck! So I will now add my Elemental Hero Captain Gold!" he said as he then took the card from his deck.
"You can take any Hero you want and you still won't manage to scratch me, but hey I might be wrong so make a move pal." he said Dystopia returned to him.

Turn 8. Jaden - 2200 lp - 2 cards
"Alright, it is my turn!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck as he then saw it. It was his Elemental Hero Heat, as then he realized what kind of field he could have at the current moment and this was too good of an opportunity to pass up!
"I will begin by discarding my Elemental Hero Captain Gold," he did so as then a card popped out of his duel disk, "and thanks to him, I get to add the Field Spell Skyscraper from my deck straight to my hand!" he said as he revealed the card he just added.
He then took a different card from his hand, "Now, I will discard Elemental Hero Wildheart from my hand to activate Fusion Recycling Plant's effect as well!" he said as the machines began moving in the background to search for a specific card from his graveyard, "So I can add back my Polymerization from my grave!" he said as once the machines were finished they took the card and sent it straight towards the brown haired boy and caught it.
"I will now activate it! I fuse from my field my Stratos with my Heat that is in my hand in order to Fusion Summon one of my favourites!" He yelled as then on his field appeared a fire hero whose suit was hot red as he and Stratos were turned into red and green data as they began to swirl around each other until they smacked each other to create an explosion.
He then began to chant, "Here comes the Hero whose fire is hot as the Sun! Elemental Hero Nova Master!" as then from his field appeared a monster that looked like that of royalty, like one for the fire lions. It had a bright red cape, as he had massive shoulder pads that had a top and bottom parts to it as they were in a great mix of yellow, orange and red as he wore black leather. When summoned, his fist was engulfed in flames.

"Hey, that is the monster he used to use against me!" yelled Sora as he took out a bag of chocolate eggs and began munching on them.
"That's right! And with this, I can at least defeat one of your strongest monsters! I activate the Field Spell, Skyscraper!" he yelled as his recycling plant was then destroyed as several large buildings appeared all with pointy tops at the top of the buildings.
"And that is the card he used to defeat me," scowled Crowler, but at the same time, something weird is with him. He… didn't want to see Jaden lose this battle as much as he doesn't think that is likely, so why… Why did he want him to win?
"Get this! When an Elemental Hero monster attacks your monster even though his attack points is the lower one, he gains 1000 attack points during the Battle Step!" he yelled out as they all saw Nova Master at the top of the main Skyscraper that was behind the Slifer Slacker.
"Go ahead! You know that I won't take any battle damage!" yelled out Aster.
"That may be so, but you will still lose a monster! Go, Nova Master attack Dystopia with Calidus Brachium!" Nova Master's arm was then bursted into the hottest flames it could ever make as it for a second looked like a flaming lion behind him, but then disappeared as it then jumped towards Dystopia, whose fist was engulfed with dark purple energy, tried to counter attack with his fist with one powerful jab, however…
(ATK: 2600 - 3600.) …it wasn't strong enough as even though it managed to punch Nova Master square in the face, Nova Master was able to land the powerful blow directly towards its torso as it then exploded upon impact. Nova Master began walking towards his master once more.

"When my Nova Master destroys a monster by battle, I get to draw a card from my deck." he said as he drew the top card of his deck and looked at it. He nodded, "I will throw down a facedown and call it a turn." he said as a card was then set vertically behind Nova Master.

As soon as Aster drew his card, Jaden pointed out, "Thanks to your Doom Lord's special power, my Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman returns to my field!" he said as then on his field appeared the Shining Hero to end all war with his mighty appearance.

"Not to mention, my Shining Flare Wingman gains 300 attack points for every Elemental Hero in my graveyard! So here goes, my Hero Roll Call!" he yelled out as the holograms of Burstinatrix, Avian, Flame Wingman, Sparkman, Wildheart, Bladedge, Stratos, Heat, Captain Gold and Heat appeared behind him all with confident looks on their faces.
Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman: 2500 + 300 x 10 = 2500 + 3000 = 5500 attack points
"Nice one, Jaden!" yelled Celina, "That way, whenever he attacks a monster by battle, Clock Tower Prison won't work because it doesn't negate Effect Damage!" she yelled as everyone realized what that meant.
"That's correct! So even if Aster destroys his Nova Master by battle, he won't have a monster that would be strong enough to destroy Shining Flare Wingman and all he needs to is attack and he won the game!" yelled Bastion as they were confident that Aster had nothing for this.

Aster smirked, "You know, I feel bad that you all don't know this, because like I said before, the Elemental Heroes aren't the only types of Heroes, but the same thing can apply to Destiny Heroes." they all looked at him with questioning looks, but only Jaden knew what that meant.
"You see, while your friend there has only the Elemental Heroes, I however have the two different Hero types." they all looked at him. He had two Hero types?! "One of them is Destiny, but the other…? How about I show you? I activate the Spell The Fated Future!"
He said as the card appeared with the image of a witch that both looked like from the wild west and the future and a hero with bright shiny red armour standing over the ruined world, "With this, if I don't control a single monster on my field, I can pay half of my life points…"

Jaden: 2200 lp
A card popped out of his duel disk, "So I can special summon a Vision Hero from my deck! So come out, Vision Hero Vyon!" he yelled as he took the card from his deck and then slammed the card on his duel disk as then they saw a new breed of Heroes.

They then see one of the new monsters. It was a monster that wore a tight dark purple spandex all over his body, as he wore black gloves, with turquoise armour around his head, neck, shoulders, arms, hips, legs and knees with purple lining all over it and purple orbs around the armour.

They all saw the newly summoned monster in awe and in shock. It was something like it was from a Sci-Fi movie, but they couldn't figure out why all monsters had to summon out a monster like that, until they realized… that it must have a powerful effect.
"Here is something interesting about this monster, I can send any Hero monster I want when he is summoned on the field," a card popped out of his deck as he then took it, "So I am sending my Destiny Hero Dasher to my graveyard!" he said as he sent the card to his graveyard, but then, his Doom Lord popped out of his graveyard slot.
"His second effect is pretty rad, and that is I can banish a Hero from my graveyard like my Doom Lord," he said as he placed the cards in his back pocket, "So I can add a Polymerization from my deck!" he yelled as took the card that popped out of his duel disk.
"Oh and I am not done! I banish from my graveyard my Malicious," he said as he took a card from his graveyard, "So I can special summon from my deck, a second copy of my Destiny Hero Malicious!" he said as he took the card that popped out of his deck as he took it and summoned it on his duel disk.
The monster was a demon straight from hell. It had a stylized D on his chest, three horns on the top of his head with green eyes, with a well build, as fur covered his legs, arms and shoulder, with claws popping out of his knuckles, with 2 tails and 2 demonic wings.

"A special summon from the deck?!" yelled Syrus in complete shock as the others were too stunned to speak, "What else can this deck even do?! A free draw 2 from the graveyard?!" Aster smirked. "Oh no."
"You just had to jinx, dumbass." said Chazz as he shook his head.
"You are not half wrong, shortie! First, I will set my Polymerization," he said as he set the only card from his hand, "as now I will banish my Celestial from my graveyard, along with Dread Servant, so I can draw 2 cards from my deck as long as I don't have a hand!" he took the two cards from his graveyard and placed them in his back pocket.
As then he drew the top 2 cards from his deck and then, a devilish smirk appeared on his face which no liked the looks from it, "Time for me to summon the strongest Vision Hero there is, and it is all thanks to my set card," Polymerization revealed itself, "I now fuse from my field my Vyon, Malicious and then from my hand my Vision Hero Gravito to create the strongest there is!" a hero with a bright orange shield appeared on the field, only for the three monsters were turned into red, green and blue data as they began to swirl around each other and then smacked into each other.
Aster began to chant, "Hero of great opportunities! Hero of the Demons! Hero Of Gravity! Now become one to show everyone what true justice looks like! I Fusion Summon! Come out, Vision Hero Trinity!"
As then a hero in bright shining red armour appeared. The monster looked like what it was called, the personification of justice, as the monster posed dramatically in front of everyone. It had 4 shining red blades for wings.

Aster then grinned ear to ear, "Here is the first part of his effect! During this turn only, his attack points are doubled!" he said as his monster glew red for a bit.
Vision HERO Trinity: 2500 - 5000 attack points
"The second is that his monster can make up to 3 attacks during every single Battle Phase, however it can not attack directly." he said as the rest of the crew looked at the monster like it was a Sacred Beast in shock.
"He-hey, at least his Shining Flare Wingman is safe right? I mean, he doesn't have enough attack points to-"
"Trinity will begin his destruction on your Shining Flare Wingman! Trinity Crush!" he yelled out as his monster's wings then opened up to reveal jet engines on them as he went off like a speeding rocket with his fist behind him for one powerful attack.
"Wait, what?! Dude, are you serious about this?!" yelled Jaden in shock as Aster grinned.
"Fully serious about this! Because allow me to show you this special card! Battle Fusion!" their eyes widened when they saw that card, "This card allows my monster to gain attack points equal to the monster it is attacking until the end of the damage step!" he roared as Trinity went faster than the fastest train in the world.
Vision HERO Trinity: 5000 - 10 500 attack points
Before Shining Flare Wingman could do anything, he was punched in the face with the intencity of a train hitting him with it's full speed, making him fly towards the end of the Duel Arena.
"I activate the trap, A Hero's Job! With this, I don't take any damage that involves an Elemental Hero for the rest of this turn!" he yelled out as he saw his strongest Hero being played for a fool.
"Tch. Okay, that is fine, but the same can't be said for your Nova Master!" he said as before anyone could react, Trinity slammed Nova Master to the ground, creating a crater once more, destroying him.
"And now, I end my turn. That is all I can make, and I want to see you bounce back from this." he said.
Vision HERO Trinity: 10 500 - 2500 attack points

Turn 10. Jaden - 2200 lp - 0 cards
Jaden looked at it, as he realized that he currently didn't have the best that he could work with. With almost no cards on the field, no monsters and no cards in his hand. Despite it being an almost unwinnable situation, thankfully Trinity couldn't attack him directly which was a good thing to hear, but he was afraid that the next turn, he will lose the next turn.
Which he will make sure that he won't lose this duel, and he has… to win so he could talk to him about everything. He breathes in and out, as he placed his fingers on the top of his deck, "Here goes something, I draw!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck.
He flipped it, and from the corner of his eyes he saw the card and he smirked, "I activate Spy Hero! First, I have to send the top 2 cards from my deck," he said as he did so, sending Bubbleman and Necro Gardna to his graveyard as then a hero wearing tight black spandex appeared on the field, "So I can add 1 Spell from your graveyard!" he said with a smirk.
Aster saw from the corner of his eyes that the hero that was just summoned taking a card from his graveyard and then throwing it directly towards Jaden as he caught it, "The card I added was Spell Book From The Pot, which I will now activate!" he said as the card appeared on his side of the field.
"Both of us draw 3 cards from our decks!" Jaden yelled out as both he and Aster then drew the top 3 cards from their decks as they both looked at the cards that they just drew.
The Slifer Slacker smirked as he saw the best possible combo he could make at this current turn, as he then took a card from his hand, "I activate my Spell, Fusion Recovery! With this I can retrieve my Polymerization from my graveyard," the card popped out of his graveyard as did a different monster, "including a monster that was used for a Fusion Summon, like my Stratos!" he said as he picked up both monsters from his graveyard.
He then took one of the cards that he just added, "Which I will now summon! Come out, Stratos!" he said as then on his field appeared the most helpful Elemental Hero monster with Trinity standing tall against the high winds.
(Elemental HERO Stratos: Level 4 - Wind Warrior - Attack: 1800. Defense: 300.)
"When he is summoned on the field, I get to add an Elemental Hero from my deck straight to my hand!" a card popped out his deck as then he took the card with a confident grin, which he revealed the card being Woodsman.
"Time to fuse! I activate Polymerization! I fuse the Stratos on my field with the Woodsman from my hand to create one of my strongest monsters!" he said as then a hero that half of the body was made out of wood appeared on the field as both of them were then turned into red and green data as they swirled around each other as they smacked into each other.
Jaden then began to chant, "Here comes the Hero to create a Tornado! Elemental Hero Great Tornado!" as then appeared a powerful wind warrior, who held onto a black cape as his suit was that of black leather, as the other parts were orange and green, as he had a pretty decent build. All he needed was a power to control the stars and a fairy and he would be all set to be like a king of wizards.

Sora looked at the monster that was responsible for his defeat with awe as he knew that this monster packed up the punch.
"Great Tornado's effect activates! When he is Fusion Summoned, all of the stats of your monsters are now halved! Go Tornado Fang!" he yelled out as Great Tornado created a tornado from his hands that went straight towards Trinity as then he was at his knees.
Vision HERO Trinity: 2500 - 1250 attack points/ 2000 - 1000 defense points
"Time to battle! Great Tornado attacks your Trinity with Spirit Storm!" he yelled out as Great Tornado reached back his hand to gather up the surrounding magic around him as at his palm there was wind that was like the creation of some sort of energy and light that was the power of a Wind God as it then threw out his fist to send all of the surrounding mana at the Vision Hero as the monster tried to block it with him crossing his hands, but sadly it was enough as pieces of his armour began falling off as his arms have been smacked off as it stared at the powerful energy before roaring in pain as it created a massive explosion.
"Don't forget, I don't lose any life points!" yelled Aster as he thrusted his hand to reveal him still standing.
"That pesky Field Spell." Crowler scowled at the look of that Field Spell.
"Still, I destroyed one of your stronger monsters! That is better than nothing!" Jaden yelled out as he took a card from his hand, "I throw down a face down and call it a turn!" a card was set vertically behind Great Tornado.

Turn 11. Aster - 150 lp - 3 cards
Thanks to the help of his own Spell played by his opponent, Aster has enough cards in his hand to wipe the floor of Jaden this turn, in fact…
When he drew his card a card popped out of his graveyard slot, "Destiny Hero Dasher's effect activates! When I draw a monster during my Draw Phase when this card is in my grave, I can reveal it," he did as he revealed his Vision Hero Faris, "So I can special summon the drawn monster! Come out, Vision Hero Faris!"
As then on his side of the field appeared a new monster as the monster had a decent build, with green skin, wearing an armour that had two sharp claws as two toes on each foot, sharp claws, as the armour was bright pink, with magenta colours around it like lining and around the torso, it was purple.
(Vision HERO Faris: Level 5 - Dark Warrior - Attack: 1600. Defense: 1800.)
"When he is special summoned, I can now place 1 Vision Hero monster from my deck straight to my Spell and Trap zones as a Continuous Trap!" he yelled out as the rest of the crew were weirded out by the effect, as Aster took the popped out card from his hand to place Vision Hero Poisoner to his field in his Spell and Trap zones.
Chazz then narrowed his eyes, "So they are like Jesse's Crystal Beasts. They can go into the Spell and Trap zones almost acting like Continuous Spells and Trap cards. There has to be a reason for this type of summoning."
"Then I will banish The Fated Future from my graveyard," he then took the popped out Spell card from his graveyard as then he took it, "With this, I can take up to 2 Vision Heroes from my deck in my Spell and Trap zone acting like face up Continuous Trap cards!" A card popped out of his deck as he took it, "I will set Vision Hero Minimum Ray!" He did so as the monster appeared on the field.
"Wait, I am confused, why is he setting his monsters face up in his Spell and Trap zones with the cards he has?" asked Skye as she crossed her arms.
"Well to answer your question up there, I can use them for a tribute summon," the monsters then disappeared from his Spell and Trap Zones as he then took a card from his hand, "So I can Tribute Summon this bad girl! Vision Hero Witch Raider!"
As then on his field appeared a new type of monsters, as the monster was a witch wearing a brown pointy hat, having long blonde hair with green eyes, as she held a sniper rifle that wielded green energy inside of it, as it wore a white cape, with purple pants and a brown shirt.
(Vision HERO Witch Raider: Level 8 - Dark Warrior - Attack: 2700. Defense: 1900.)
"Her effect activates! When she is Normal Summoned, all of our Spells and Traps are then destroyed!" Jaden took a step backwards as Witch Raider pointed her gun straight towards his lone set card and his Skyscraper, "Go, Magic Bullet Cannon!" from the gun, green dots that acted like bullets were then shot out of the gun.
"Before you destroy my set card, I will be activating it!" Jaden yelled as the card revealed itself, "Quick Summon allows me to Normal Summon even during your turn, so give a warm welcome to my Wroughtweiler!" he said as he took the last card from his hand and slammed it on his duel disk.
As then on his field appeared a mechanical dog with black colouring, with turquoise lining and a turquoise vizor at the top with sharp teeth. It was in defense mode.

"Aww, that is adorable." said Skye as the rest nodded to that. It was a rather adorable doggy.
The green bullet then shot the ground where Quick Summon was, "You might've activated it to save it from destruction, but the same can't be said about your Field Spell!" he said as the magical bullets turned to the buildings behind him as they were shot, destroying them as the debris began to fall behind him.
"I am still not done! I activate my Over Destiny from my hand!" the card appeared on the field, "I can target 1 Destiny Hero from my graveyard like my Dystopia," he said as he revealed the card and then sent it to his graveyard, as then a card popped out of it, "So I can special summon a Destiny Hero from my deck whose level is equal or less than that monster's Level! Dystopia's Level was 8, my Diamond Dude's was 4, so come on out!"
Then on his field appeared a man with white hair, tan skin, wearing a dark leather suit with a D belt buckle and a green cape, as Diamonds were all around his body and even covering his eyes. He was in an X position.

"During my End Phase of the turn I activated that Spell card, he has to be destroyed, but it is enough to show your destiny! I activate Diamond Dude's effect! I can look at the top card of my deck," he drew the top card of his deck, "And if it is a Normal Spell, I can send it to my graveyard and I can activate it during my next turn, and would you look at that, I drew Card Of Sanctity, which is a Normal Spell, so I will send it to my graveyard." he said as he sent that powerful card to his graveyard.
The three Heroes stood there looking at the lone hero and the mutt, as they all narrowed their eyes at each other, "I think it is time to finally end this farce! Vision Hero Witch Raider will attack your Great Tornado with Sniper Blast!" Witch Raider took her gun aimed directly towards Great Tornado, and once she knew that it was a safe time to attack with a sure fire kill she blasted it towards him, leaving a single green bullet.
"I don't know what you are doing, but you know that Great Tornado has 100 attack points higher than yours! So take this counter attack, Towering Tornado!" Jaden yelled as Great Tornado swiped his hand to create a single raging tornado that would've been enough to stop it, however…
Aster smirked, "Oh, I know that! That's why I am activating Ego Boost! When a monster declares an attack, 1 face up monster gains 1000 attack points until the end of the Battle Phase!" as everyone looked at him with shocked expressions.
Vision HERO Witch Raider: 2700 - 3700 attack points
The green bullet became even stronger and faster, but didn't change in size, as the bullet blitzed the tornado that was coming towards it and went straight through Great Tornado's chest, creating a small explosion.
Aster: 150 lp
Jaden: 2200 - 1300 lp
"Oh, and I am not done! Diamond Dude! Destroy that mutt with Diamond Blast!" Diamond Dude raised his fist straight towards Wroughtweiler as from the knuckles came out diamonds that went through Wroughtweiler, making a small explosion.
Once the dust settled, Jaden smirked, "You know what they say, dogs are man's best friend, and they help you out in any way! Such as when he is sent to the graveyard, I get to add back a Polymerization and an Elemental Hero monster from my graveyard!" he said as he took 2 cards that popped out of his duel disk.
"Too bad you aren't going to use them, since Faris will end this duel right now! With Death Scythe!" Aster yelled out as Faris' claws became a new shade of purple, a much brighter shade as the monster than charged directly towards Jaden.
"If this connects…"
"Jaden is done for!" began Celina as Bastion leaned on his chair.
"I don't think so! I banish my Necro Gardna to negate this attack!" he yelled as then a monster with massive arms appeared that acted like a shield for the poor kid that stopped the attack from the Vision Hero. He placed it in his back pocket.
"You know, you ain't half bad, but you are not going to win this duel, not ever." he said as he narrowed his eyes, "I end my turn." he said as Diamond Dude exploded.
Vision HERO Witch Raider: 3700 - 2700 attack points

Turn 12. Jaden - 1300 lp - 2 cards
"Oh, that is just an opinion that I disagree! But, let's see that if everyone agrees to that! I draw!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck as he saw the card and smirked. This turn would be a one that would help him out the most.
"I will start off by summoning out the trusty Hero that everyone loves, Elemental Hero Bubbleman!" as then on his side of the field appeared a hero that wore a bright blue armour, with breathing tanks on his back, as he wielded a bubble blaster with a white cape, dark blue pants and light blue boots, wearing a mask that was like Batman's.
(Elemental HERO Bubbleman: Level 4 - Water Warrior - Attack: 800. Defense: 1200.)
"This buddy of mine hates being alone, so when he is summoned with no other cards backing him up, I get to draw 2 cards from my deck!" he yelled as he drew two more cards from his deck, but he wasn't done just yet, "I then banish from my graveyard my A Hero's Job to draw 1 card!" he took the card that popped from his graveyard, took it in his back pocket and drew a card.
"And it is time for me to fuse! I activate Polymerization! I fuse from my hand my Clayman with the Bubbleman that is in my field, so I can create a hero to rock your world!" he said as a monster was summoned with a clay body built to last was summoned as they were turned into red and green data, swirling around each other until they all smacked each other to create an explosion.
Jaden then began to chant, "Here comes the Hero that will rock your world! Elemental Hero Gaia!" as then a Titan appeared on the field as it was bigger than all of the monsters that were on the field, as it looked like Crowler's Ancient Gear Golem, but it was more modern and had red orbs all around it.

"Big deal, you summoned a big toy that can't even deal damage to me." It was very impressive for Aster to not be scared of the thing.
"If he thinks that is a toy, I hate to see what he thinks of my monsters." said Sora as he was chewing on candy corn.
"Well, this toy here can halve one of your monster's attack points and gains attack points of the monster it targeted!" Jaden yelled as Witch Raider was down to her knees as Gaia glew red for a while.
Vision HERO Witch Raider: 2700 - 1350 attack points
Elemental HERO Gaia: 2200 - 3550 attack points
"It is time for battle! My Gaia attacks and destroys your Witch Raider with Continental Hammer!" Jaden yelled out as Gaia reared its hand ready for one power smack as it then threw the hand for one powerful blow, as it was a slap, creating an explosion.
"Thanks to Clock Tower Prison, I don't lose any life points!" yelled Aster.
"I know that, but in this turn, I will make sure to destroy every monster on your field! Starting here! I activate the Spell, Construct Element!" he yelled as Gaia's body was glowing, "I can return 1 Fusion Elemental Hero monster on my field and change it for a new one with the same level!"
"Hold up, what?!" yelled Aster for the first time as he didn't know about this card.
As did the rest of the crew, "WHAT?!"
"Since when did he have that card?!"
"I don't know?!"
"How does Slacker have that card?!"
Gaia then began to spin around and around in a fast motion, almost creating a tornado, as Jaden began to chant, "Here comes the Hero that travels around the dirtiest of places for his buddies! Elemental Hero Mudballman!"
As the new monster revealed itself and it looked like it had Bubbleman's face, as the body was made out of mud, as the head was the biggest part as it was round like the other part, as the entire body was made out of condense round mud with water coming out from his hands.
(Elemental HERO Mudballman: Fusion - Level 6 - Earth Warrior - Attack: 1900. Defense: 3000.)
"Now, Mudballman, destroy Faris with Mire Shockwave!" he yelled as Mudballman reared its hand as he then punched the ground, creating a small shockwave that went towards Faris like it was a Tsunami, which the Hero couldn't block as it was destroyed.
Thankfully, Clock Tower Prison stopped that.
"He really needs a way to destroy that Field Spell." said Skye as the rest nodded.
"You said it, Ma'am."
"True."
"That card is mad annoying."
Jaden then took two remaining cards from his hand, "I will end this turn after I throw down two face downs!" he said as then 2 cards were set vertically behind Mudballman.

Turn 13. Aster - 150 lp - 0 cards
Aster breathed. It was fine. He knew he was fine. Despite him being in a bad position, he was in worse conditions than this, so why… why was this harder for him than anything else? It was horrible to say, but it wasn't clear for him.
But he knew that he will continue onwards, that's how he always went by, so right now, he will draw a card from his deck, and if it is a Spell he could se- His eyes widened when he saw the card he drew.

He gritted his teeth, he will use it later, "I activate the effect of Card Of Sanctity! We both draw until we have 6 cards in our hand!" he yelled as he drew 5 cards while Jaden drew 6 cards.
Both of them looked at the cards in their hands, they knew that they had it what it takes to win this duel in their turn, but right now, it is Aster's turn, "I summon my Destiny Hero Drilldark!"
As then on his field appeared a new monster. It was a monster that had a drill for a hand, with drills coming out of his knees, hips and fingers for his left hand, as his skin was most likely brown, as his armour was black and had green eyes.
(Destiny HERO - Drilldark: Level 4 - Dark Warrior - Attack: 1600. Defense: 1200.)
"His effect activates! When he is summoned in any way, I get to special summon a Destiny Hero with the same or lower than his attack points," he took a card from his hand, "So come out, Destiny Hero Captain Tenacious!"
As then on his side of the field appeared a monster with a very impressive build, as he had glowing yellow eyes, long flowing orange hair that went down to his waist, as he had green armour around his arms as a shield and on his legs.

"Then, I will activate my Spell card, Monster Reborn!" They looked at him in shock at the number of combos this man has ready, "With this, I can special summon a monster from either of our graveyards, and I think I will choose is my Malicious!" he yelled out as he took a card that popped out.
He slammed the card as Malicious appeared on his field.
(Destiny HERO - Malicious: Level 6 - Dark Warrior - Attack: 800. Defense: 800.)
They all saw him with wide eyes as they were genuinely impressed how he could make that many combos with so little cards used as they saw so many monsters and that could be used for a Fusio-
"Jaden… this turn… will seal your fate." they all looked at Aster, "Because your destiny is for you to lose right here and now! I sacrifice all of my monsters!" he yelled as then all of his monsters disappeared.
"A 3 monster tribute?!"
"What beast is he summoning out?!"
"It can't be an Egyptian God… right?"
"Meet your doom, Jaden! As the chain of destiny shows itself, the vision of pure justice and victory is pure as light! I Special Summon my Destiny Hero… DOGMA!" as then on his side of the field appeared a new monster, as the monster looked like it could've taken down a Sacred Beast! It was a monster with an impressive build whose skin was a mix of brown and black as there were spikes all around his shoulders, with chains over his torso, having 4 red eyes, two blades around his two arms, two horns on his head and two wings.

They all saw the monster in pure shock. That was the monster that he had in his room the entire time? That… was just mad! That monster looked like it could've towered every card in Jaden's deck!
It was impressive how powerful that monster looked. And what was scarier was that Dogma's attack points were enough to destroy Mudballman and defeat Jaden for good!
"Battle! Destiny Hero Dogma, destroy that ball of mud! Dogma Dagger Dash!" Jaden could tell that there was more and more anger building up in Aster, which he had to talk about with him, but right now, he won't survive.
As Dogma released his blade into a more extended blade, Jaden sprung onto action, "Not so fast! I activate my Quick-Play Spell, Flute Of Summoning Kuriboh! With this, I can special summon my best buddy, Winged Kuriboh on the field!" a card popped out of his deck as then he took it.
He slammed it as then on his field appeared a large puffball with wings and cute eyes.
(Winged Kuriboh: Level 1 - Light Fairy - Attack: 300. Defense: 200.)
"That's not all! I activate Staunch Defender! All of your monsters have to attack one monster I pick, so your Dogma has to destroy my Winged pal over here. Sorry," Winged Kuriboh turned to his master and nodded that he understood which he smiled at.
"Fine, Dogma destroy Winged Kuriboh!" Dogma with his new extended blade then charged directly at Winged Kuriboh, raising his hand and then slashing it.
From it, a small explosion appeared as it lasted for a couple of seconds.
As then the people that stood in the explosion stood there, "You managed to survive, impressive, but let's see what good will do that to you. Go ahead, your move." he said.

Turn 14. Jaden - 1300 lp - 6 cards
"Hey, Aster."
"What is it?" he asked.
"I just wanted to ask you something, about this whole thing, is that alright with you?" Jaden asked as they said nothing as they continued to watch.
"Fine, it is, just what do you want to talk about?" Aster asked as Jaden frowned.
"I just wanted to know… why are you angry?" they all looked at him in confusion at what he said, "I mean, I understand that you are upset that I don't remember you, but why did you seem so angry? I just want to know, okay?"
Aster looked at him in silence when he said that. It was strange, truly strange. He didn't feel like he had to say this to anyone else, but towards him, it felt like he could say it and not be judged at all.
So he thought about it, and finally, looked at Jaden, "Because… you were someone I cared for, and a person that I tried blocking my mind, from my past, but it never seemed to work, as you were my friend, my first real friend, Jaden." he said as he looked away. "Someone, I could trust, someone I could remember, and to see how you barely remember me was just… the worst feeling I had, I was filled with anger, and even now. As I thought that would help me after the tragedy."
"What tragedy, Aster?" he asked his old friend.
"...whatever I say next here, stays here. Alright?" He looked around so he didn't want anyone else other than the people around here to know. They looked at each other and then back to Aster and nodded.
He sighed, "Fine, I will tell the past. What happened in my past." he said as he began to tell his story to everyone in the room.
About his childhood and his tragedy.
(A/N: If you would like to not read this since it does contain a part where death happens in the most tragic of places, I will tell you to skip this one until you see another one of these.)
Aster Phoenix was a kid that even at the start of his life had the worst upbringings in his life. His parents were named Sean and Stella Phoenix, as the former was actually a foreigner from America that went to Croatia to learn about the culture and to study there as that is when he met his now wife Stella when they went to college. Stella was a woman that had Aster's white hair and blue eyes.
The same could be said for his best friend, Kenn Yuki, who met his wife, Jana, at the college they went to as they were all friends during their time as students as both of them were planning on working in Industrial Illusions, while Jana was mostly working on the clothing part and Stella worked as an astronomer, a person that researches stars.
It was all going pretty well, from all of them getting the jobs that they wanted, going to places they haven't been to yet for their job and having fun while doing so, which is why they thought what would be a reasonable thing to do after dating for a couple of years.
Marriage and starting a family.
It all went well for the first part of that, with Kenn and Jana's wedding being a rather small one in a church and the celebrations being in their own home, while Sean and Stella's was at the beach, which after the honeymoon, meant only 1 thing.
Kids.
While the 9 months were going slower each day, they were all excited for it and the possibility that both of their kids would be friends which was a thing to look forward to.
For the Yukis, it went great with getting a young healthy boy by the name of Jaden, but for the Phoenixes? They were not so fortunate, I am afraid.
You see, after childbirth, Stella's blood pressure was at its highest and her organs, such as her kidneys and liver, which wasn't looking so great, which resulted in her death, after giving birth to a healthy young boy that they planned to call Aster.

Even at childbirth, Aster's life was a complete mess, with his own mother passing away during childbirth and a father that even as a kid, could tell, was depressed from the death of his wife, but there was one good thing that made this all better, even if it didn't fully heal.
It was that he was friends with a boy his age, someone that was like a brother to him and the best part was that he was a kid from the two parents that were friends with his dad by the name of Jaden Yuki.
They did stuff like any other kids would do when they were little, they hung out a lot, played with their action figures, read comics, watch shows from the old era of cartoons and some decent shows on Cartoon Network, play the popular game of Duel Monsters and watch duels from Duelist Kingdom to the Tournament that Seto set up with the Von Schroeders, and it was really fun for the two.
It was fun for Aster, it was one of the best times of his life and this was a perfect time to be alive for him as he had a blast doing this every day with his best friend, and he can tell that his dad was getting happier by each day.
Heck, they even got their own Hero archetypes that their dads worked on to make them play with, with Jaden getting the Elemental Heroes while he got the Destiny and Vision Heroes, with the added bonus of having Elemental Hero Flame Wingman, Phoenix Enforcer and the two Shining forms.
It was a great time to be a kid with his best friend, his dad that did the best possible job on raising him on his own and his uncle and aunt, or how the Croats say, ujak and teta.
But, it seems that the chain of destiny had to step in on one unfortunate day that Aster couldn't stop remembering even when he tries to forget.
One day when he was with his friend as they were looking at a design of possibly the strongest monster that Aster would ever get, the paper was taken by the wind so they began running after it and ran into a guy that was down on his luck as he just got fired from his job, who returned the paper at the two kids, but he also asked what that artwork was, which Jaden stated to be a card that was the sweetest thing while Aster said it would be the most powerful monster that could ever exist which the man though it was interesting with his slightly widened eyes.
The man began to walk away as he then grew a sadistic smile as he knew a way to get back off from his life and it starts from this one card.
Once Aster returned home from going to the park and Card Shop with his best friend, he saw his dad looking at the new monster with a smile, but he tried to hide it so he could surprise him on his birthday which was right around the corner, as his son ate the french toast before going to bed.
Sean smiled at Aster as he stood up, stretching as he took the plates and the empty cup of coffee and began washing the dishes. Once he was done, he went to the bathroom, took a shower, brushed his teeth and got himself dressed for bed, and that is before he heard…
…the glass breaking.
Sean immediately jumped onto his feet as he then quickly opened the door to see a man trying to steal his new card, which he didn't allow as he ran up to the man and-
…
…the aftermath was the only thing that Aster saw once he heard something loud happen outside, as he slowly walked up to his door, which was terrifying him as he couldn't hear what was going on, but he heard police sirens coming closer and closer, which might mean that his dad would be okay, right?
He opened the door and walked towards the living room and saw what no kid should ever see in their entire life.
The room was destroyed, tons of glass breaking, a lot of broken furniture and the walls were filled with dirt, but the worst thing about it is that he saw his dad, the person that raised him, the person he loved the most, was dead.
Killed in his own blood as he could see the life in his eyes no longer being inside of him, as like the spark of his life was turned off.
His hands began to shake as he felt no weight on his legs as he fell down to his knees, with tears going down like a waterfall.
Aster couldn't believe it, he saw his dad, his dad, dead on the floor with his own blood, as he took in his dead, lifeless and cold hands with his tiny ones before he closed his eyes.
The sound around him was extinct around him as he couldn't hear anything other than constant rigging in his ears as his breath began being more and more broken the more he saw him dead.
He saw the police officers opening the door, but he couldn't even register it.
He was brought to Child Protective Services shortly after, where a man that he saw yesterday came in and told that he wanted to adopt him, and once they were sure that he would fit the active and protective legal guardian, they allowed him after several paperwork was done.
Aster asked why he was doing this, to which the man told him that he wanted to show his gratitude by adopting him and that starting today, he was going to become his newly adopted father. He said his name was Kyle Jables, but he could call him The D.
He realized that the news arrived late for the Yuki residency, as once they heard about the news and that he was going to America with his new step father, they immediately went to him to at least want to make the last goodbyes, even if they weren't feeling the best, as they were at the airport, with Kenn and Jana giving him a big hug that made him smile, while Jaden was crying, which Aster thought it would be a good idea to give him two monsters to remember by him, which were Elemental HERO Flame Wingman and Shining Flare Wingman.
As then, once they got onto the plane, Aster's life began to change forever.
Sure, he did get two close friends by the names of Sartorius and Sarina Kumar, but it was never the same. It could never be the same, as even at an young age, he became a Pro Duelist.
The atmosphere in the Duel Arena was so thick that they could cut it with a knife, as the sound in the Duel Arena was almost dead.
They were shocked, saddened and overall, horrified as they could never imagine someone so young experience the death of a loving parent and even the idea of his own mother dying from childbirth was terrifying.
Crowler and Bonaparte stared at the ground, Yusuke was too shocked to even speak, Skye, Celina, Ray and Sora couldn't even form sentences to hear that, Chazz frowned at the guy as he knew that had to hurt immensely, Alexis' hands were slightly shaking, Hassleberry's face remained the same with wide eyes and a slightly opened mouth, Bastion and Syrus blinked as they didn't know what to say at a situation like this.
But the person that had the most shocking reaction was undoubtedly Jaden, as he was completely silent, not making a word. It was strange to watch. A person they thought was loud and very energetic, was changed by this one story.
"U-Uja… Ujak Sean is dead?" he asked with a shaky voice.
"...yes. He is dead. Murdered." he said as he lowered his eyes.
Jaden looked at him, "How did we not know until you were going to leave?"
Aster shrugged, "I don't know. It just felt all so fast that the death of my father was so quick, that when I had to leave for America it all felt like it happened in one hour." he said with a sad look.
"I am so sorry, Aster! I didn't kno-"
"Don't be. Trust me, it will only make it worse. Like I said, I am mad that you most likely forgot me, while I… didn't." he said as he closed his fist into a ball.
"Aster, I will never forget a friend! Not someone as close as you!"
"But why did you? Huh? Why did you almost forget? Or even forgot stuff about me?" he asked as those questions ran deep towards the Slifer Red.
As he opened his mouth, he felt a strong sharp pain as he held his head when he did so, still seeing the two heterochromic eyes. A single tear went down his cheek, "I don't know." he said.
Aster sighed, "Fine, I guess if you don't remember, we won't continue this topic," he said as he raised his head up, "But before we continue on the duel, you want all of you to know why my Heroes' names are Destiny and Vision?"
They looked at him and they shook their heads.
"Well… it is about his killer, this murderer. I will get my revenge," he said with venom in his voice so hot that it could melt steel, "As it is my destiny that I get my revenge for my father! I vision my victory at the one that has killed my father as a form of revenge!"
"What?!" Jaden yelled out, "Are you sure you want to get revenge, Aster?"
"You should know that better than anyone! Of course I want to get revenge! And if you want to stop me, then go at me with everything you have in this turn!" he pointed at his former friend, "Because let me tell you, if you don't, I will crush you." he said.
Jaden narrowed his eyes, "Fine! I will make this the best possible turn I could have! I… DRAW!" he yelled out as he drew the top card of his deck.
Aster yelled out, "Here is an interesting tidbit! Dogma's effect allows me to cut your life points in half during your Standby Phase! Go, Chronicle of Destruction!" he yelled as Dogma then pointed the dagger directly towards Jaden and shot it at him, making it past his Mudballman.
Aster: 150 lp
Jaden: 1300 - 650 lp
Jaden then looked at the card he drew and smirked. This is going to be the best possible turn he could have right here and now.
(A/N: Stop Theme, but Play Remember.)
"I will start by activating my Spell Double Fusion! I pay 500 of my life points!" he yelled as he glew blue for a bit as their life points are now equal.
Aster: 150 lp
Jaden: 650 - 150 lp
"This card allows me to Fusion Summon twice!" he said as he took 2 cards from his hand, "I will fuse from my hand my Ocean with my Lady Heat!" he yelled out as then a hero of aquatic nature appeared on the field holding a trident and a heroine wearing a tight fiery outfit as well as they were both turned into red and green data as they smacked into each other after swirling around each other.
He then began to chant, "Here comes the Hero who sends chills down his enemies' spines! Elemental Hero Absolute Zero!" as then on his field appeared a hero with emerald eyes, dark blue leather underneath the silver cold armour that was as pointy as the edge of an iceberg, wearing a white cape. WIth his presence alone, it somehow dropped the atmosphere to be even colder than before.
(Elemental HERO Absolute Zero: Fusion - Level 8 - Water Warrior - Attack: 2500. Defense: 2000.)
"And that is only the start! I fuse from my hand my Necroshade and my Voltic from my hand to create a bright star among the heroes!" he yelled as then a monster that looked more like a villain than anything else and a small hero that looked like a helper of Sparkman appeared on the field as their fate was shared with Ocean and Lady Heat.
Jaden then began to chant, "Here comes the Hero who mastered all Elements! Elemental Hero Sunrise!" as then on his side of the field appeared a monster that was wearing a bright red uniform that made him look like Ironman, as he had horns on his helmet, wings on his arms, spikes around his legs, a sun around his stomach and a blue cape.
(Elemental HERO Sunrise: Fusion - Level 7 - Light Warrior - Attack: 2500. Defense: 1200.)
"Then, Sunrise's effect activates! When he is Special Summoned, I get to add a Miracle Fusion from my deck straight to my hand!" he said as a card popped out of his deck as he then took it, "Which I will now activate!" he yelled out as the crowd looked at him as he continued to make combos with combos.
"I fuse from my graveyard my Woodsman and Ocean to create one of my strongest monsters!" he yelled out as the two monsters appeared on the field as they were turned into red and green data and they smacked each other.
He then began to chant, "Here comes the Hero that protects the Earth from all evil! Elemental Hero Terra Firma!" as then on his field appeared a Hero that showed everyone his true potential, as the monster had clear white skin, an impressive build, blue orbs around his shoulders and head, with a red gem on his chest as it posed dramatically, alongside Mudballman, Absolute Zero and Sunrise.

All of them began cheering for the Slifer Red, even Crowler, as they knew the power Terra Firma had in his control with one effect alongside Sunrise's boost effect, but Aster stared at the monster with wide eyes.
He also had one of them. One of the Legendary Planets. Looks like he doesn't have to hold back next turn he presumes.
"Before I reveal the other monster's sweet effects, I will activate my O - Oversoul! This card allows me to special summon back a normal Elemental Hero from my graveyard," a blue O appeared on the field as it began to change into a different monster, "So I want everyone to welcome my Elemental Hero Burstinatrix!" he yelled.
As then his fire heroine returned to the field. Filling up the entire arena with different Heroes of all varying sizes.
(Elemental HERO Burstinatrix: Level 3 - Fire Warrior - Attack: 1200. Defense: 800.)
"Now here is the kicker of Sunrise's first effect! All of my monsters gain 200 attack points for every different Attribute on the field!" explained Jaden.
"His Sunrise is a Light monster…" began Celina as she narrowed her eyes.
"His Burstinatrix is a Fire monster…" continued Sora.
"Both of his Terra Firma and Mudballman are Earth monsters…" Bastion crossed his arms with a small smirk.
"Finally, his Absolute Zero is a Water monster," said Yusuke as he smirked, "That means his monsters gain 800 attack points!"
Elemental HERO Burstinatrix: 1200 - 2000 attack points
Elemental HERO Mudballman: 1900 - 2700 attack points
Elemental HERO Terra Firma: 2500 - 3300 attack points
Elemental HERO Absolute Zero: 2500 - 3300 attack points
Elemental HERO Sunrise: 2500 - 3300 attack points
"Your Clock Tower Prison is out of time I am afraid, because I activate my last card in my hand," he said as he took the last card of his hand, "My R - Righteous Justice! This card destroys Spells and Traps equal to the amount of monsters I have on the field! That means that your Clock Tower Prison is going caput!"
A yellow R appeared on the field as it went towards the Clock Tower Prison as Aster smirked like a devil would, "Thank you," he said as the R went into the Clock Tower Prison and after a second, it exploded.
"AHH YES! Jay has finally did it! He… didn't win, did he?" asked Syrus as they all saw how disgustingly calm Aster was.
(A/N: End Theme, but play D/D/D Theme.)
"Like I said, thank you for this. Since Clock Tower Prison is destroyed while it had all of its counters, I get to special summon one monster of mine," a card popped out of his deck as he took it and slammed it on his duel disk, "And that monster is my Destiny Hero Dreadmaster!"
From the falling rubble, they saw a lone figure, a monster that was chained up in there for a good reason. As then it jumped from it, revealing the monster of their doom. It was a monster with a tan body colour, with scars all over the body that was well built, wearing a mask that covered his face, wearing ripped purple jeans as there were chains around the monster.
(Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster: Level 8 - Dark Warrior - Attack: ?. Defense: ?.)
"Wh- WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!" yelled Celina in shock as she saw a monster that was impossible to even call it that.
"That thing is a monster by the name of Dreadmaster! And here is the part that will terrify you, I can special summon up to 2 Destiny Heroes from my graveyard, so," two cards popped out of his graveyard slot as he then took them, "COME! Destiny Hero Dasher and Dystopia!"
Dreadmaster slammed its fist on the ground as then two figures came out of there, those being Dystopia and Dasher.
(Destiny HERO - Dasher: Level 6 - Dark Warrior - Attack: 2100. Defense: 1000.)
(Destiny HERO - Dystopia: Fusion - Level 8 - Dark Warrior - Attack: 2800. Defense: 2400.)
"Here is also a good bit of trivia. My Dreadmaster gains attack and defense points equal to the combined attack point of all of my Destiny Heroes!" Their eyes couldn't get any wider as Dreadmaster's muscles began to increase even more if that was even possible.
Destiny HERO Dreadmaster: ? + 2100 + 2800 + 3400 = 8300 attack/defense points
They all saw the power of this new monster and they thought it was genuinely the most powerful monster they could've seen as the second years thought it would even bully the Sacred Beasts.
Aster smirked, "Your destiny won't allow you to get over this turn, Jaden!"
"We will see about that! I activate Terra Firma's effect! I tribute Absolute Zero so he could gain his stats for the turn!" Absolute Zero and Terra Firma nodded to each other as the Water Hero dashed towards Terra Firma as the Earth Hero absorbed it's stats to become stronger than before as its muscles grew in size.
Elemental HERO Burstinatrix: 2000 - 1800 attack points
Elemental HERO Mudballman: 2700 - 2500 attack points
Elemental HERO Sunrise: 3300 - 3100 attack points
Elemental HERO Terra Firma: 3300 - 5600 attack/ 2000 - 4000 defense points
"The effect of Absolute Zero activates! When he is sent to the graveyard in any way, all of your monsters are destroyed!" he yelled as then the ground below the Destiny Heroes became cold, almost sub zero levels of cold.
"Not happening. You see, during the turn Dreadmaster was summoned, all of my Destiny Heroes can't be destroyed by effects." he said as Dreadmaster punched the ice below him, shattering it.
"So not even Sunrise's effect won't destroy it?!" yelled Chazz in shock.
"That's right!" he grinned.
"We-well, can't they not be destroyed by battle?! Go Terra Firma, destroy Destiny Hero Dogma with Earth Impact!" he yelled as Terra Firma then jumped forward and charged directly towards Dogma as the monster raised its blade and stopped Terra Firma's attack.
"It can actually, since the same thing applies to battling as well." he said.
"Well you still take damage!"
"Nope! I don't take any battle damage for the rest of this turn as well!" he yelled.
"OH COME ON!" yelled almost everyone in the room as Terra Firma returned to his master.
Jaden nearly dropped his shoulders as he knew that this fight was nearing its end. "I end my turn."

Turn 15. Aster - 150 lp - 2 cards
Without saying a word, Aster drew the top card of his deck and he didn't even need to look at it as he knew that he didn't need those cards for this. He placed the card in his hands and then took a card from it.
He stared at it, "Hey, Jaden. I have a question for you."
"...Yeah?"
"Have you ever heard of the Legendary Planets?" they all looked at him.
"What is he talking about?"
"Don't ask me."
Bastion crossed his arms, "From what I have heard, and this is from rumours mind you, is that they are one of the most rare monsters that anyone could have as they are based on the Solar System and Pluto."
Aster nodded, "That's right, but what you probably didn't know was that, my father and his father," he pointed towards Jaden, "Created the Legendary Planets together!" their eyes widened, but Alexis, Celina and Syrus did remember that Jaden told them that his dad gave it to him.
"They were shared to the most important of people, of which I don't know who has some of them, but what I do know, is that I have one of them right here," he said as he took a single card from his hand as they looked at him with horrified expressions, "I sacrifice Dystopia and Dasher in order to summon this power beast!" his two monsters disappeared.
Aster then began to chant, "From the dawn of justice, a monster reigning from the space comes along for the grand finale of all that is evil! I Tribute Summon! The Grand Jupiter!" he roared to the heavens as then on his field appeared a new monster that is proud to be called his strongest.
The monster revealed itself as they saw the dark energy coming around of the powerful monster, as it had two large metal wings, as the armour was coming in different sets for his arms and legs as they were green and light green, as the skin was dark green, with the middle of his body being that of a skeleton and his heart was the actual Jupiter.
(The Grand Jupiter: Level 8 - Dark Warrior - Attack: 2500. Defense: 2000.)
Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster: 8200 - 3400 attack points
Everyone watched in complete shock as they saw the possible strongest monster that they have seen, and some of them have seen Gods, which made this even scarier due to the fact that he wasn't using this monster against Zane, showing that the entire time…
…he was playing with him the entire duel.
"Before you say why did I weakened my field, don't think I made a misplay, I just wanted to show everyone your destiny! I discard 2 cards from my hand to activate The Grand Jupiter's special ability!" he yelled as Sunrise then began to float as it was then pulled due to Jupiter's gravitational pull.
"I can absorb one monster on your field and gain its attack!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as Sunrise was now orbiting around Jupiter as Jaden took one step backwards as he knew one thing…
Elemental HERO Burstinatrix: 1800 - 1200 attack points
Elemental HERO Mudballman: 2500 - 1900 attack points
Elemental HERO Terra Firma: 3100 - 2500 attack points
The Grand Jupiter: 2500 - 5000 attack points
…his fate.
Everyone knew that nothing can be done about this turn. Nothing could save him. No graveyard effects. No Sunrise's effects. He had nothing at all to save him from this turn so he could turn it around like he usually does.
He had nothing.
It was strange to see him getting cornered like this, but it was terrifying at the same time as they saw something horrifying.
A complete domination.
"I told you, I told everyone! You can't escape this! GO! The Grand Jupiter attack and destroy Terra Firma with the Great Red Spot!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as the Grand Jupiter then made his arms connect as then they saw a massive beam of red light appear in it as they were horrified to see coming towards his strongest monster.
As then the beam of red light was then shot like a rocket, faster than the speed of light as it went straight towards Terra Firma. Mudballman and Burstinatrix used themselves as meat shields to soften the blow, but they were no use as it continued with no signs of stopping as Terra Firma tried his absolute hardest to stop the blow using both of his hands, but the light was so powerful that it made the Hero flail his arms around and had to take the blow all on its own.
Jaden was the epicenter and had to take the attack head on, as he saw it like he was a deer looking at lights of a car as he couldn't move away.
Aster smirked.
Aster: 150 lp
Jaden: 150 - 0 lp
ASTER PHOENIX: WINNER!
The beam has finally stopped as it began to fade away, but not before The Grand Jupiter gave out a pitiful expression as it turn its head at the same time as Aster when he began to walk away.
"I told you, you can't escape from Destiny." he said as they saw what had come out of Jaden, as he was completely still, like he was a statue.
"No way."
"I can't believe it."
"JADEN LOST?!" everyone yelled out with only Bonaparte sounding excited about this.
As then, he finally reacted as his deck slot shot out the cards from it.
The last thing that Jaden saw before getting knocked out was his deck, his favourite Heroes and monsters, becoming white as he can't see the cards no longer.
He tried to get some balance, but unfortunately for him, he was walking for a few steps, before the strength in his legs almost became a myth as he fell down to his knees.
As then he landed face first.
"JADEN!" yelled out Celina as she jumped out of the chairs as she began running after him as so did the rest of the crew.
Trying to see if there was anything that they could to help him.
With Sartorius
A man wearing an Obelisk Blue uniform with inverted colours and dark pants, who had long flowing dark purple hair at the back, while at the front was a piece of hair that was gray, as he specs on his forehead, wearing earrings and had purple eyes.
He was sitting on a chair, all alone, with a round table, with a box of cards that had the cards known as the Tarot cards which was a deck of cards that were said to predict the future, but with this moment, it easily did.
"Well, looks like my predictions are correct once again. The threat of the Light was defeated once and for all, but that doesn't mean I should stop there, I need more people to see the Light!" he yelled as the person was known as Sartorius, "Now let's see who shall first see the Light!"
He began to shuffle the deck of Tarot cards as he smirked the entire time as he then organized them in a more fashionable way and placed it on the middle of his table.
"Now… let's see what fate has in store for this Celina Boyle…" he said as he took the first card of his deck and his eyes widened. "Oh my…right side up The Magician, eh? That shows willpower, limitless potential, focus and desire. My, that means that she is an interesting person."
Sartorius smirked, "This is an opportunity to be too good to be true. Looks like I have to show her the Light!" he yelled as tiny amount of Light appeared around him once he said that.
As he will make sure that everyone sees the Light.

DONE! FINALLY! 20.5 THOUSAND WORDS! I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED THIS GOD DAMN CHAPTER, AND I CAN BREATHE!
Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed this chapter as I know I have liked writing on this… MASSIVE chapter as I prepared this duel to be the utmost of quality as I really hope that you guys enjoyed this.
In the original, it was okay. The story elements were fantastically done in my opinion, but the duel left more than it desired, but to be fair, it might be because I have been spoiled by how well Vrains duels are, so I wanted to modernize the shit out of this duel. I think it deserved it and I think I did a very good job on the characterization on my part (I hope at least lmao.)
So, about the flashback… huh. What is with me and giving everyone a horrible backstory and life before this. I mean, I gave two characters the Sasuke treatment, one character about abandonment issues, sick brother, child death, and now a mother dying during childbirth and a dad being murdered! Yay! Before you guys I ask, "What about Yubel?" She is still in this fic, don't worry, but it is more that Jaden and Aster didn't duel that often when he did get Yubel, or he was on Vacation with his dad.
Fun Fact: Sean Phoenix's first name is based on his English VA, Sean Schemel. Yes, Goku voiced this guy.
I've added the Legendary Planets, but they won't be important that much, they are just powerful and hard to get monsters, nothing to major.
Next up, someone is going to see the Light and her true potential is going to be revealed! (I hope at least. Sartorius (What a weird and hard to spell name) has a very weird deck.)
