A simple and small hang time between the Radio Demon, and the White-Haired boy once more, and some questions about Alastor trying to change? Really odd, and yet something Lincoln didn't see coming, and some honest stuff to admit so Lincoln could try and better understand The Radio Demon and his change in predicaments. Enjoy reading this new chapter folks!
Helluva Loud Adventures.
"Another Radio Demon hang out."
(January 13. Royal Woods Middle School.)
A good day with class done for the day, and Lincoln is talking with Jordan about their upcoming date this Friday. "So, if you do have someone to kill, you will still be available afterwards, right?" asked Jordan.
Lincoln nods. "Of course, I wouldn't wanna miss what I have planned for the both of us, it's gonna be an amazing night for us both and... Alastor?"
"What?" Jordan then see who he is talking about, and right there in some fancy winter clothing from the 1920's, is none other than the Radio Demon. "Alastor? What the heck are you doing here?"
The Radio Demon snickers, and he walks towards them while the students all steer clear of this creepy smiling sinner. "To see what matters of bonding I may have with the boy. I hope I am not ruining any moment between you both."
Lincoln looks to Jordan, and then she kisses his cheek. "Go spend some time with the Radio Demon, I'll see you tomorrow." she then walks off and she joins her friends and they get onto the school bus.
Lincoln smiles and then he looks to the Radio Demon. "So, you wanna go someplace so we can enjoy the rest of the town and the sights around here?"
Alastor nods. "Come with me, I know just the place." Lincoln doesn't know what this is about, as they are walking the Radio Demon asks. "Going on a date this Friday I see."
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, I am. Gonna be a good time for Jordan and I, and yet I need to be ready for when we need to take down some target for the client, and also handle possible chances for anyone trying to ruin our date night."
Alastor smirks. "Well then, looks like someone has a well thought out plan. Would be a swell time if myself and my beloved would join you, but we have our own plans for this Friday night."
Lincoln chuckles. "Yeah, that would've been nice." They then continue to walk to wherever the Radio Demon is leading.
(Somewhere far from Gus' Games n' grub.)
As they proceed to walk, Lincoln sees where they are headed, and he knows that arcade and then he asks. "Alastor, are you still trying to be part of this new change that many have been doing here?"
The Radio Demon snickers. "Indeed I am. Everything has been clear to me, after the demise of that Picture Show faced heathen, Vox, and the return of my dear beloved Lady Georgia Valentine. Now I wish to seek to be part of the change going on throughout the lives of this modern time."
"And going to the arcade is one of them?" asked Lincoln.
Alastor nods. "I can understand you're confusion and concern, but I assure you that everything is going well for me. I even have myself this cellular device to which I can communicate towards my beloved and some others who are my friends."
"And yet you don't have my number." Lincoln snickers and The Radio Demon realizes this. "Calm down, Alastor, I'll let you have a copy of my number later. But, how was your first time texting or calling?"
Alastor recalls his first attempt to text, and also call, and how badly it all went and so he replies. "Did not go well, and I may have made myself look like a fool in front of everyone. I was, at a difficult point, but my beloved calmed me down and I managed to adapt."
"Texting and Calling worked, and it allowed me to continue using my cellular device for communication only, and not for whatever nonsense I dare not to fall in line, and you know what I mean right, my good child?"
Lincoln knows what he is talking about. "Right, the way most folks these days are always going around with their phones and trying to see whats the updates and notifications. The next generation who are always having their faces and hands on their phones. Good choice on that Alastor."
Alastor nods. "Indeed it is, all I seek is to adapt to some change, but not all of it. But I do seek to see how entertaining this arcade is, and see what I might gain from this technologically advanced place. Also, how is Tannins and Athena doing living here lately?"
"At the moment, Tannins is still doing her usual work and Athena is taking in a part-time job, and forging stuff through blacksmith work, and yet also working with making some other materials for us to use when we need it the most, mostly weapons and upgrades" replied Lincoln.
The duo then open the doors of the arcade. "Alastor, welcome to Gus' Games n' Grub Pizzeria and Arcade." The Radio Demon then looks around and he sees the many children all enjoying the food, and playing the games that are around. "Everything good with you, Alastor?"
The Radio Demon looks at all the lights, and the sounds of children having fun, and some competition in the mix. "This all seems, different and quite something closely similar to the lights going around the city. But I wish to seek what I can gain, from the prize wall."
Lincoln then sees the other reason behind this. "You plan to win something for Lady G, aren't you?"
Alastor smirks. "You know me all too well, my boy. Also, Angel Dust informed me about the prize wall, and so I shall see what nice trinket I can get for her." Alastor then walks off to seek out a game he can manage and not get enraged, and earn some tickets.
Lincoln watches this go on, and then his friends stand next to him. Artie, Lance, Trent, Rusty and Zach. The Rusty asks. "Dude, is the Radio Demon here in a place that doesn't seem to fit him?"
Lincoln nods. "Appears like it, but he has his reasons to be here, and yes he is trying to change and adapt."
"Well, this should be something" replied Artie. "Also, he is nailing that with ease."
They all witness as Alastor is at the basketball hoops game and he is quickly scoring bank shot, after bank shot, after bank shot, after bank shot and he is earning so many tickets, and he retains his smile and snickers, and his eyes are glowing.
"What the heck is the prize he wants?" asked Zach. "Also, he might be beating the score EveLynn and Polly had in here back then, you think he'd like to try out for basketball? I mean, he is tall."
Lincoln chuckles. "Calm down, guys. Alastor may be good at this, but know that he has other stuff to do, also let's just leave him be and continue to have some fun here." Lincoln goes over to play something, and so the others to do the same.
But they choose to not compete when Alastor is trying out another of the games here, and chances he might be good at skee ball, the one game Stella is high scored in.
(Moments Later.)
After so many video games, Lincoln and Alastor are sitting by the booth they chose, and enjoying the all-meat pizza and this is something the Radio Demon ordered, the pizza is topped with sausage, pepperoni, bacon and bits of ham, and he is enjoying his meal.
Lincoln did won a prize, and that would be some butterfly hairclips colored in blue and yellow for Jordan, and the Radio Demon got a small keychain with a red gem in the middle, and even though it is fake the color of this gem is blood red and is quite intriguing.
As they continue to enjoy their food, and Alastor was given some coffee as a drink while Lincoln has some soda. Then Alastor asks. "So, I have this idea. When the time comes, and when the day would be needed. Perhaps we should have this... Guy's Night Out, what do you think Lincoln Silva Hound?"
Lincoln thinks about this. "Well, that does sound like a good idea. "We're gonna have to ask the others on when they wanna have such a hang out time. Who do you think we should have to tag along for the ride, well hang out time, guy's night style?"
The Radio Demon has some names he can think of. "Husk, Angel Dust, Blitzo, Moxxie, that hellhound bodyguard if he has nothing else to do, and perhaps some of your little friends, if they are interested..."
Lincoln spits out his soda. "Whoa. Whoa. Hold it right there and stop Alastor. Look, now we're not much in guys, but I don't want my friends to be caught into this. They are not as experienced as I am when doing this, they haven't been through hell and back."
Alastor then asks. "Then label out the friends you have that could manage this Guy's Night out and those who cannot." Lincoln thinks about this, and then he recaps those who might not have a hard time.
"Now my friends: Clyde might not be well with the whole idea, Zach would get somewhat paranoid, Rusty would mess things around and make things worse, Hassan... I can't risk it, Dennis and Patrick can't hang out on Friday's due to a big club thing they got this week."
"Liam, might be busy with some night time farm chores or something, Richie and Dennis might not be so comfortable with this idea, and so the ones who might handle this kind of guy's night out... are Lance, Trent and Artie. So, perhaps only those three can make the chance for a Guy's Night Out."
Alastor smiles. "Then the choice has been settled, but when do we have this Guy's Night Out?"
Lincoln thinks about this, and then he has an idea when. "The last Friday of this month, we can have it then and then we could..." His phone ringtone goes off, and he checks who messaged him. "Huh, target confirmed." Lincoln reads the text from Delilah, another target for I.M.P to handle dead.
Client:
Otis Peterson – Once a greedy man, and still a super-rich fashion designer, he changed his ways after he got a daughter and yet he still owes some people money. He is well known in the state of Ohio, and was found dead in the fire of his mansion, after he saved his daughters life. He lost his wife, long ago. He is now a fashion-designer in the lust ring within hell.
Target:
Brandon Frankel, Billy Gibson and Draco Hagger – 17 year old maniacal teenagers, who call themselves "The Fire Starters." They enjoy burning stuff, and watching people get burned. They are responsible for so many fiery deaths, even onto families, and children. Also responsible for burning an entire hospital.
Results:
More than 900 million dollars will be paid if they are recorded being burned alive, and stripped naked. The whole murder must be broadcasted live on TV for everyone to bear witness.
Lincoln smiles seeing this, and then he realizes something. "Well, looks like I got something to hassle while I am on date with Jordan tomorrow."
The Radio Demon also sees this and he smirks. "That does sound and look impressive, or perhaps you would allow someone else to aid in this ordeal? I mean, there is still an overlord sinner, and many other allies who would appreciate torching pathetic interlopers?"
Lincoln thinks about this and he smiles. "You know, Radio Demon... That doesn't sound like a bad idea."
To be continued in the next chapter folks!
A/N: So, this is a kind of hangout Lincoln did not see coming, but hey, at least the Radio Demon is handling well trying to adapt, and tomorrow is the date between Lincoln and Jordan. I also wanna say thank you to "Marvelomac1010" for the target and client. I do hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter folks!
