Chapter 1

Wilson Fisk stood in the large chamber containing his newly completed super collider, which was suspended from the ceiling. Technicians were on tall ladders making sure everything would run smoothly. Fisk turned to the elderly man next to him. He had silver hair, rectangle frames, a soul patch with the same color as his hair, and he wore a dark green coat over a brown turtleneck and brown khakis with brown boots. This man was Phineas mason, AKA the Tinkerer. Fisk had hired him and a small crew to construct the collider for him.

"How close are we to finishing, Mason?" Fisk asked.

"We are running final diagnostics now. We should be ready to conduct our first proper test within the hour," Mason replied. "Should things go smoothly, we could be ready to send subjects through the opening within a day or two."

"We don't have the time or luxury to conduct safety tests for the next few weeks. I don't want any heroes finding our operation before we are ready. The Punisher is out of prison and the Defenders have been cracking down on this operation since I myself was freed, so we have no more time to waste. If a door really opens between worlds, we will attempt to cross immediately," Fisk said sternly.

The Tinkerer looked up at him. "Mr. Fisk, if you try to pass through before safety is ensured, the rift could tear you apart atom by atom. Now while I'll be the first to admit I am one of many not entirely fond of you and your reputation, this is still what you hired me to do, and I intend to do my job correctly."

"While I appreciate your professional courtesy, Dr. Mason, this is your employer telling you what to do. So do it. When they finish calibrations, I want you to activate the machine. I'll be waiting in the observation room." Fisk, the mountain of a man, then strode past the Tinkerer, his footsteps shaking the ground below Tinkerer's feet, and up the metal staircase that led to the above observation room.

This man will be the death of me, he thought to himself.

The criminal started to come to, his vision blurred and a ringing in his eardrums. When his vision cleared, he saw a man in a red outfit and mask with red lenses and two small horns protruding from it. He also had two capital D's centered on the upper chest of his outfit. It was Daredevil.

"Good, you're finally awake." Daredevil walked closer. The man tried to move, then realized he was pinned to an AC unit by webbing.

"The hell is this?!" He tried to struggle. Then another figure landed next to Daredevil. He was slightly shorter, and wore a red and blue outfit with a spider centered on his chest, and a black web design across the red of the costume and large white lenses. This was Spider-Man.

"Custom made web fluid. Don't try breaking it, it's stronger than steel," Spider-Man said. "Kingpin. Where is he?"

"Who?"

"Don't play dumb, everyone knows Wilson Fisk," Daredevil said. "We also know you work for him. We want to know where he is along with all of the stolen tech."

The criminal shook his head. "I won't talk. He'll have me killed, if he doesn't do it himself."

"Look, we get you're afraid, pal. But he has enough stolen tech to turn New York into the next Chernobyl if he wanted to," Spider-Man said. "What does he need with that kind of tech?"

"I-I can't say. P-Please let me go!" The criminal begged. Then Daredevil cocked his head slightly. Someone else was getting close, he could hear the footsteps. But not an enemy.

"Well, this clearly isn't working," another voice said. Spidey and Daredevil turned to see another hero in white approach behind them. He wore a white hood and cape with black pieces of armored costume on his wrists, shins, knees and torso over a black bodysuit. On the chest piece was a crescent moon. This hero was Moon Knight.

"Oh hey Moony," Spidey greeted him. "What brings you to Brooklyn on this wonderful night?"

"I've been coming across Fisk's men too. For the past week, I've been trying to crack down on his men. I've gotten as far as figuring out he was set up in Brooklyn, but informants started to run up dry. So I've had to look elsewhere to try and narrow it down. And you guys have one right here," Moon Knight replied as he cracked his knuckles.

"Now hold on, Spector, we're looking to just interrogate him, not brutalize him," Daredevil said sternly.

"Well clearly you're not getting anywhere like this," Moon Knight snapped back. "If you don't want to crack some bones, then what's your plan if you haven't gotten anything yet?"

The criminal couldn't hear the heroes talking amongst one another. But after a few moments, of them talking amongst one another, they all looked at him, causing a shiver to go up his spine. Then Moon Knight pushed past the other two, with a sharp crescent moon shaped object in hand. The criminal yelped and flinched, closing his eyes. Then Moon Knight cut him free of Spider-Man's webs before hauling him up and then holding him over the edge of the building's roof, causing the criminal to yell out of panic.

"This is your last chance, punk, before I drop you at least twelve stories to the sidewalk; Where is the Kingpin in Brooklyn? Exact location!" Moon Knight exclaimed.

"I-I can't! B-besides, you won't drop-" The criminal was cut off when Moon Knight let go of him and he started to plummet to the street, causing him to scream on his way down. He hadn't thought he would actually be dropped. "Alright, alright! I'll talk, I'll talk!"

Then a strand of web hit his chest and his descent was gradually slowed, until it came to a stop, then he was pulled back up to the roof, sent back over the edge and landed hard on his side. The three heroes stood over him again. "We'll ask again, where is Kingpin?" Daredevil asked.

"H-He's under Brooklyn, not in it! He cleared out a section of the abandoned subway tunnels and turned it into a lab for him and the Tinkerer!"

"The Tinkerer? What does he need him for?" Spidey asked.

"H-He's not building a weapon, he's building a super collider, w-want's to rip a hole into another universe or some shit, I don't know!"

The three heroes traded glances. "If that collider is activated, it could cause damage under Brooklyn, make a city wide EMP, and level that part of the tunnels, and that's if it's controlled." Spider-Man said.

"And if it's not?" Moon Knight asked.

"If the collider goes out of control, you can say goodbye to NYC. That's why he needed Mason, he needed someone who would know how to control it."

"Well, we know where we need to go. Let's get going then," Moon Knight said.

Daredevil then pressed his fingers to the side of his mask. "Luke, Danny, Jessica, we have Fisk's location, abandoned subways under Brooklyn. Get bottom side, we'll meet you after we go through the terminal."

"So that's why the informants dried up, there were five of you taking them all," Moon Knight remarked.

"It's been a busy week," Spidey shrugged, he then webbed the criminal to the rooftop. "Don't worry pal, we'll tell the cops where you are!" He then leapt off the edge of the building and began to web swing away. Daredevil then began to run between rooftops in the same direction Spider-Man was swinging. Moon Knight just sighed and shook his head before activating his radio.

"Frenchie, I need a pickup."
