Helluva Loud Adventures.
"The Dream Alternate 79."
(Tall Timbers Park, Royal Woods Michigan.)
Just another good day, another good summer and many days away before they head back to school and we see Lincoln Silva Hound, and he is playing with his friends, Jordan Rosato, Ronnie Anne Santiago, and even their friends from the school: Trent, Artie, Lance, Mollie, Kat and Rachel.
Luna is also there, and with her best friend Sam as they strum some soothing tunes underneath the shade of the tree, and by the large lake are the others. Lori, Leni, Luan and Lynn Jr, and they also have their friend with them and spending some playtime here.
Lincoln then stops and he sees something on the grass and he goes over to what it is. "Hey guys, what are these things?" They see the small sand pits and are confused, but then Rachel remembers.
"Wait, I know what they are. They're called Sand Lion Traps, they are babies of small insects with wings, and they eat ants." This has them curious and they continue to watch the little sand pits, and then they see an ant walk over and be cautious.
But then another ant goes over and falls in and they watch as this small and defenseless ant tries to flee, but only to fall back in because of the slanted pit, and this alerts the insect inside and it throws sand out and this hits the ant and the insect falls into the center and they all witness as the ant in the sand pit is attacked and then dragged into the bottom where the ant lion resides.
Lincoln is amazed. "Whoa. That looked cool, and yet scary."
"Let's see what else we can find here in the park" replied Jordan. They all go around the whole place, and look for anything that could be an odd and new insect to them.
Trent then points to a moth with eyes on its wings, and they all walk away from how scary it looks.
Kat sees some butterflies, and she sees something rare. A few monarch butterflies, and they are hoping that such little things might flutter near their home.
Lance sees a leaf insect, and another and another and then he ends up being covered in them, he sneezes and they fly off and this makes them all startled and run away.
Mollie believes she may have found a new insect, but it is not an insect and instead what she has found is a hedgehog and they watch it run off after she puts it down. They don't know what Hedgehogs are.
Ronnie Anne finds a stick insect, but after watching it do nothing they take their leave from it.
Artie sees some ants traveling from what used to be a beetle, and they see that the path is near some ant lion mounds, and that means these insects are bound for them demise.
Jordan finds some grasshoppers and dragonflies, and she was told by Rachel that the dragonflies mean that rain is coming soon, and that they should all be ready.
Lincoln sees some cicada cocoons on the ground, but they are actually the shells of cocoons and that means the sound of cicadas are gonna be making loud sounds in the area.
Seeing them play is Luna and Sam and the duo get up and walk towards the group of little kids, they then watch as Lori, Leni and their friends are playing by the waters, and with them are their two new friends, Bobby and Roger.
Lynn and her friends, Margo and Paula are both throwing around a Frisbee, but then they see Lynn go over and interact with another kid, a girl named Annabelle C. McCann, and she just moved into Royal Woods last week.
Luan and Benny are doing some hand puppetry and Maggie watches them as she just makes some poems, she seems like the kind of kid who doesn't interact a lot and she is just there to be around her new friends, and then she is joined by their two other friends, Ruby and Spencer.
Luna sighs. "This sure is nice. I am glad that things have changed and became all the more better for us as time went on and who knew that all of this happened long ago from the day when mom saved us from those bad people who were once our parents."
Sam nods. "Yeah, and to be honest... I am so glad those two are even gone in hell, I mean your mom and the others must've done an awesome and dangerous job showing those two where yo kick the bucket hard. They don't even deserve to be in hell, or they might've found out where you guys lived."
Luna nods and she thinks about this. 'What if we haven't had moved out of the I.M.P building yet? Would they have ended up finding out that we were there? I mean, they wouldn't have known because we were under the protection from the Ars Goetia and of course, Velvet and it would've turned into chaos real fast, but then again... As a half-hellhound, I would show those two how painful it is to mess with me and my family!'
Sam then sees Lincoln race towards them. "Hey, we found something cool." Luna and Sam then follow them and even Luan and her friends and they see that what they have found are some crayfish near the shallows of the lake, and even some small crabs and this fascinates them.
Luna chuckles seeing how curious her brother still is. 'Even at this age, I still see the same cute, adorable and very curious baby that we call our baby brother and we still love him no matter what. I don't know where we would be if it wasn't for them.' Then Roxanne Wolf goes over and she helps watch over the kids as they do this, she doesn't want them to fall into the lake.
Meanwhile, watching over them from the picnic table and benches are the parents, all of them just talking and also having a nice barbeque outing moment, and of course we see Velvet is there, and she doesn't need a human disguise because of the way she looks, but summer and Dia are there, and helping with the lunch.
Loona on the other hand is talking with Maria and Arturo Santiago, and they tell her all about the familia they have at Great Lakes city, which is an hour drive to get there.
Maria starts first. "My brother and I, we don't have the best relationship since I am older than him, and at times he says that he is the older brother. He is married to Frida Puga and her father is a Hollywood stuntman who does amazing movie shoots as a stunt double, and my brother and his wife have children of their own. They're oldest is Carlota, and then there is CJ and they're recent child, Carlino."
Loona is surprised. "Wait, wait. So, their kids are named at the letter C as they dad?"
Maria nods. "Yes, though CJ actually means Carlos Junior, and he has autism, but he means well and is a very energetic kid who has a thing for pirate stuff, and he always loves to spend time with that, and they're daughter Carlota, she might be slowly growing into a girl who likes to be on her phone and fashion. She got that when she went to a fashion show."
Loona then asks. "And what about the grandparents? I was told that you have grandparents who live there? Overheard it when Bobby and Lori were playing."
Arturo says that one. "Maria's mother is Rosa and she is very, very superstitious and at times always believes in good luck. She has been trying to figure out some ways to make sure Maria and myself and the kids stayed in Great Lakes city so they can keep an eye on them as well, like one big familia. But we have our own life and it is here, but Rosa never gives up. She is also the handywoman to ask for whe you need help in the apartment, and the one thing she has incredible talent in is..."
Maria and Arturo sigh and both speak. "Her cooking, her tamales and everything else that she makes that tastes like heaven."
Loona chuckles. "Wow. You two look drunk on something. So, what about her husband?"
That one alarms Arturo, and then Maria speaks. "My father, Hector runs the Casagrandes Mercado, and he is famous for his gossips after talking with friends, and he also... Hates Arturo... He doesn't show it, but we can feel when his ice cold glare hits my Arturo, and it always makes a cold chill down his spine."
Arturo gulps. "I swear, his eyes can see through my soul. At least his dog Lalo is a good friend and I like Lalo too even though he can be quite the not so brave kind of canine. Sergio though, is a whole different thing. I mean, that parrot is a swindling and cunning little bird, and at times he tries to buy what he sees on commercials, mostly things he doesn't even need! What is wrong with Sergio?"
Maria sighs. "I don't know if it might have something to do with my mama. I mean, she spoils him, I think. I am not sure. Sergio is the bird hard to understand, except for his cousin, Paco who lives with my grandma Lupe and yeah, she is still alive and speaking Spanish as traditional as she is, and I can see where my mama got her superstitious manner, that and her fave show Ernesto Estrella."
Loona is surprised to hear of this large family they have, then Maria speaks. "But I do sorta fear for what happens soon because we have made friends with you guys."
Loona is confused. "What? Why?"
Arturo then sees Lincoln, Jordan and Ronnie Anne playing. "Well, back then Maria was always pushed into talking a boy who was meant for her, boys who came before me. It wasn't until Maria stood up to her mama, and then she set her straight and then I showed up. It takes guts and strength to deal with Rosa, but chances when Rosa hears that Ronnie Anne made a friend, such as Lincoln..."
Loona then realizes. "Oh shit. She'll think my kid and your kid are meant to be. The hell they are, they are just friends and I doubt he would be interested into a relationship. I mean, they just met and all she wanted are friends and they came into the form of my son and Jordan Rosato. This is not gonna fly with me."
Maria and Arturo are a little shocked that Loona cursed, but they understand. They did hear from the Rosato's about the life of Loona before this, a mob team company of assassins/hitmen and she served as the receptionist and adopted daughter, but soon gained her own sense of independence and a new path away from what they do, for the sake of her adopted children.
Maria then sees the upside down crucifix earrings of Loona. "Ummm, I know you are Goth and all, but what the heck are those?"
Loona notices what she means. "Oh, sorry about that. My best friend gave me these as a birthday gift, and she is also Goth and royalty. But, I can't say anything else more about her or her family." They then watch as the kids all come back, because they are all feeling hungry and want some lunch.
Loona smiles seeing this, and then she watches as her son Lincoln sits next to Jordan and the duo talk to each other about the other fun stuff that they can do. 'I can already see something between those two, and if that damned old woman thinks otherwise, then she is fucking crucified upside down to me.'
"To be continued in the next chapter folks!"
A/N: Just another fun time for the kids of the Silva Hound family, and now Loona is aware of the whole large family at Great Lakes City, and precautions are needed to be sure that they don't come and visit their home one day. I hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter folks!
