Maria and Steve are walking. Maria says that Ultron is all over globe. She says he's in robotics labs, weapons facilities and jet propulsion labs.
"Damn."
She says that there's been reports of metal men coming in nd emptying places.
Steve asks about fatalities.
She says that guys are left in a fugue state going on about old memories and something too fast to see.
"You two." Strange says to Wanda.
Steve says that its the Maximoffs and it makes sense that Ultron would go to them because they have something in common.
Mari says that they don't anymore. She shows him a picture of a dead Strucker. 'PEACE' written in blood on the wall.
"Oh my god."
"That is... terrifying." May said.
Clint is on the phone. Steve tells him that they might have something. Clint hands up the phone. Steve asks who he was on the phone with.
Clint says that he was on the phone with his girlfriend.
"I thought you said you didn't have a girlfriend." Steve said.
"I don't." Clint answered.
Steve hands Thor the tablet. Tony asks what it is. Thor slaps the tablet against Tony's chest.
"So aggressive. And for what?" Ned asked.
Steve says that it was a message and tells them that Ultron killed Strucker.
Tony says that he did a banksy at the crime scene just for them.
Natasha says that it's a smokescreen and asks why would he send a message when he just gave a speech.
"Maybe Strucker knows... knew something." Bruce said.
"Or maybe Ultron's just... enjoying the theatrics... you never know." Tony said.
Steve says that Strucker knew something that Ultron wanted them to miss.
Natasha looks at the monitor and says that everything they had on Strucker has been erased.
"Shit."
"He's 10 steps ahead of us." Natasha said.
Steve says that not everything has. They look through the physical files.
"This is why you keep physical copies of everything." Fury said.
Steve says that Strucker had a lot of friends.
Bruce says that they're all horrible people. He looks at a file.
"You're surprised?" Sam asked.
Tony says that he knows that guy. Bruce passes Tony the file.
"I'm afraid to ask... but how?" Steve asked.
Tony says that the guy operates off the African coast and deals in black market arms. Steve gives him a look. Tony says that there are conventions where they meet people. He says he never sold the guy anything.
"Good."
The man's name is Ulysses Kalue.
"Him." The Wakandans practically growled.
"You know him?" Thor asked.
"He stole vibranium and escaped custody. He also tried to murder my father." T'Challa said.
Tony says that the guy was talking about finding a game changer.
Thor looks at the picture and asks about the mark on his neck.
Tony says that it's a tattoo.
Thor says that the other marks are tattoos but that mark is a brand.
"What?"
"It was a... punishment... of sorts." Okoye said.
Bruce looks its meaning up. He says that it's a word in African dialect that means thief in a less than friendly way.
Bruce says that it's from Wakanda, but mispronounces it the first time.
"Apparently all your degrees can't help you pronounce the word Wakanda." Tony said.
Tony turns to Steve and says that if Kalue got out of Wakanda with some of their trade goods.
Steve says that he thought Howard got the last of it.
"I got the last of what America had access to." Howard said.
Bruce says he doesn't follow and asks what comes out of Wakanda.
Tony says that the strongest metal on Earth does.
"Vibranium." The Wakandans said.
'Salvage Yard: African Coast' is shown.
"So that's where he is." Tony said.
Ulysses is on the phone. He says that he send them 6 short range heat seekers and a boat full of rusted parts. He tells them to make this right or the next missile he sends them will come faster.
"Oh my god."
"This guy is crazy." Quill said.
He changes lines and asks where they were. The lights go out, he grabs a gun, he shoots, Pietro rushes in and grabs his arms, Wanda walks in. Klaue recognizes them as Strucker's prize pupils.
"He knew about you?" Rhodey asked.
He asks them if they wasn't a candy.
"What?"
Klaur says that he's sorry to hear about Strucker then says that Strucker knew the world he was helping create: human life, not a growth market. He asks if the twins didn't know then asks them if this is their fist time intimidating someone.
"It was." Wanda said. "We weren't very good at it, were we?"
He says that he's afraid that he isn't afraid.
Wanda says that everyone is afraid of something.
"That's true."
Klaue says he's afraid of cuttlefish. He says that they make disco lights to hypnotize their pray. He says he saw a documentary and it was terrifying.
"Is this guy serious?" Sam asked.
Pietro grabs a candy.
Wanda smiled a bit at that.
He says he knows she doesn't do business and she isn't in charge if she's just going to fiddle with his brain and make him see a giant says that he only deals with the person in charge.
"I guess that's a... good way to go about things." Quill said.
Ultron flies up behind him and kicks him to the floor and says that there isn't a 'man' in charge.
"There's a murderous robot in charge." Clint said.
He tells Klaue that they should talk business. Klaue gives him some vibranium. Ultron says he will build his church upon this rock.
"He's playing god." Steve said.
Klaue says that the Vibranium came at a great personal cost and it's worth billions. "You know, it came at great personal cost. It's worth billions." Ulysses says.
Ultron adds money to Klaue' bank account and says that he is too and the money is under his dummy holdings.
"He can do that?" Gamora asked.
"Well, he does have access to pretty much everything." Tony said.
Ultron says that Finance is weird but he always says 'Keep your friends rich and your enemies rich, and wait to find out which is which'
"Didn't you use to say that?" Rhodey asked Tony.
"Yeah... back before *He points to the arc reactor* this." Tony said.
Klaue says that Tony used to say that to him and says that Ultron is one of his.
Ultron grabs him and asks if he thinks that he's one of Tony's puppets. He asks if he looks like Iron Man and says that Tony is nothing. He chops Klaue's arm off.
Some people gasped, others flinched and the rest cringed.
"That was... disturbing." Strange said.
He apologizes and says that he's sure it'll be okay. He says that he just doesn't understand.
"He is very unstable." Bruce said.
He says not to compare him to Tony. He says that Tony is a sickness.
Tony looked offended.
Steve, Thor and Tony are behind him. Tony says that Ultron's going to break his old man's heart.
"You really do have a thing for dramatic entrances." Maria said.
Ultron says he will if he has too.
Thor says that no one needs to break anything.
Ultron tells him that he's clearly never made an omelet.
Tony says that Ultron beat him by 1 second.
"Oh, poor Tony." Pepper said.
Pietro asks if Tony is comfortable and asks if it's like old times.
Tony was irked by that statement.
Tony says that that was never his life.
Steve tells the twins that they can still walks away from this.
Wanda says that they will.
"Almost too late." Wanda said.
Steve says that he knows they've suffered.
Ultron mocks Steve and says that he's gods righteous man and he pretends he can live without a war.
Steve looked down, not knowing whether Ultron's statement was true or not.
He says that he can't physically throw up in his mouth.
Thor tells him to let them keep the peace if he believes in it.
Ultron says that he's confusing peace with quiet.
"I think you're confusing peace with chaos." Thor said.
Tony asks what the Vibranium is for.
Ultron says he's glad Tony asked because he wants to take time to explain his evil plan. He uses magnets to pull Tony toward him, then sends him into the wall, they fly toward each other and start fighting.
"Here we go." Rhodey said.
Thor and Steve fight the robots. Klaue stands up and says to shoot them.
The man asks which ones he should shoot.
Klaue says to shoot all of them.
"Well, shit."
Natasha starts fighting the mercenaries. Clint shoots arrows at the mercenaries. Pietro punches Steve in the face. Thor throws his hammer, Pietro grabs it and gets pulled along with is.
"He is not worthy." Thor said, trying to bring light to the situation.
A few people chuckled.
Tony and Ultron take their fight outside. Steve restrains a robot, Thor knocks its head off with Mjolnir. Steve throws his shield at three men. Pietro goes to stand up, Steve knocks him down and tells him to stay down.
"He won't." Wanda said.
Ultron tells Wanda that it's time for mind games.
Wanda looked down guiltily, remembering what she did to them.
Bruce is on the quinjet. He asks if this is a code green.
"No. No definitely not, stay there." Clint said.
Wanda uses her magic on Thor. Steve asks Thor for his status.
Thor says that Wanda tried to warp his mind. He tells them to be careful because he doubts a human could keep her at bay. He says that fortunately he is mighty. Thor then finds himself in Asgard.
A few people had to laugh a little at the irony.
Pietro tackles Steve into the wall.
"See, he won't stay down." Wanda said.
Wanda uses her magic on Steve.
Bucky glared at Wanda.
Wanda uses her magic on Natasha.
Now, Clint was glaring at Wanda.
Ultron says that this is going well. Wanda tries to sneak up on Clint, but he shoves an electric arrow onto her forehead.
"Sorry." Clint said.
"Don't be. I had no right to do what I did to them." Wanda said, referring to the other five avengers.
Clint says that he's done the mind control thing and he isn't a fan.
"I can't imagine anyone would be." Fury said.
Pietro kicks Clint through the glass and runs off with Wanda. Clint says that they better run.
A few people laughed.
Clint tells whoever's standing that they have to move.
"Almost all of us are down." Steve said quietly.
Natasha's vision. Natasha is walking down a flight of stairs, girls are doing ballet.
Natasha's eyes widened in fear.
The instructor tells them to do it again.
Natasha tells her that she'll break them.
Madame B says that only the breakable ones will break. She tells Natasha that she's made of marble and they'll celebrate after the graduation ceremony.
Natasha closed her eyes, years worth of unpleasant memories came flooding back to her. As if sensing the tension, Clint draped his arm around her shoulders.
Natasha asks what happens if she fails.
Madame B says that she never fails. Natasha shoots at a target, switching hands every two shots, the target morphs to a man with a sack on his head.
Natasha gasped, not wanting to watch any more of this.
Steve's vision. It's the 40s and people are at a party. Peggy appears next to him. She asks if he's ready for his dance.
Steve looked down sadly, thinking about the life he could have had.
Thor's vision. Heimdall asks if he's the first son of Odin.
Thor asks about Heimdall's eyes.
Heimdall grabs Thor's face and says that they see everything. Heimdall says that they see him leading them to the gates of hell the he tells Thor to wake up. Heimdall starts choking him.
Thor's eyes widened and he looked away, not wanting to watch any more.
Steve's vision. Peggy says that the war's over and they can go home. The hall is now empty.
Steve looked over at Peggy sadly. He started to wonder if Ultron was right and he really couldn't love without a war.
Thor's vision. Thor says that he can still cave them.
Heimdall says that they're all dead and asks if Thor can't see. Thor pushes Heimdall off of him. Lightening surrounds Thor. Heimdall says that Thor is a destroyer and tells him to see where his power leads.
Thor was confused and scared, what was Heimdall saying? That he... that he killed them?
Thor sees the stones and Vision.
"Me?" Vision asked.
Natasha's vision. Natasha is in a chokehold, she taps out. Madame B says that pretending to fail is sloppy. She says that the ceremony is necessary for her to take her place in the world.
Natasha says that she doesn't have a place in the world.
Madame B confirms that.
"Natasha." Clint said softly. Natasha just shakes her head.
Natasha is being wheeled away on a stretcher, two girls with no mouths are seen.
Everyone gasped.
Wanda and Pietro are outside. Pietro asks what he can do.
Wanda says it hurts.
Pietro says he'll kill Clint and says he'll be right back.
Wanda says that she's over it. She says she wants to finish the job and she wants the big one.
"No!" Everyone shouted.
Wanda looked at Bruce, guiltily and apologetically.
Tony shoots Ultron down. Ultron says that the vibranium is getting away.
Tony tells Ultron that he isn't going anywhere.
Ultron says that he's already there and he'll catch on. He tells Tony that he should catch Bruce.
"Shit."
Tony destroys his body.
"At least that shit him up." Tony said.
Hulk runs into the nearest city.
"Oh no."
Tony asks JARVIS for any mention of the Hulk on the internet. Clint is helping a dazed Natasha. Tony tells Natasha that he could use a lullaby.
Clint says that that isn't going to happen for a while. He says that the whole team is down and Tony has no backup.
Everyone sighed, hopelessly.
Tony says he's calling in VERONICA. A satellite releases the armor.
"Veronica's in space."
Hulk jumps onto a police car and rips the top off.
Bruce stopped watching.
Cops start shooting at Hulk, who kicks the car over. A electric cage forms around him. Hulk pounds on it. He pounds on the ground, causing the cage to sink and jumps up in a different location.
Everyone jumped.
Cops starts shooting, Tony lands in the hulkbuster armor. Tony tells everyone to stand down.
Everyone tensed.
Tony asks Hulk if he'll listen to him. He says that Wanda is messing with his mind. He tells Hulk that he's stronger and smarter than she is, then calls him Bruce Banner. Hulk roars.
"He doesn't like being called that." Bruce said.
Tony corrects himself and says not to mention bruce, calling him Puny Banner.
Bruce made a face.
Hulk throws a car at him and knocks him down. Tony grabs him by the throat and drags him. Hulk kicks him off. Hulk jumps toward him, Tony knocks him into a truck. Hulk knocks Tony away using a metal pole.
Everyone cringed.
Hulk stabs him with the metal pole. Tony says that it was a dick move to get him in the back.
Despite the situation, people couldn't help but laugh.
Tony punches Hulk away and stands up. He tells VERONICA ro give him a hand. New arm pieces attach to the suit.
"You made it literal." Quill said.
Tony and Hulk punch each other, fists connecting, the shockwave knocks out all of the glass around them.
"Whoa."
Tony slams Hulk into the ground and punches him repeatedly and tells him to go to sleep.
Everyone giggled at that.
Hulk grabs his fist. Tony locks his hand in and flies up. Tony says that they'll get him down. They head toward a building. Tony says not to go that way. They crash into the building.
"Oh no."
Hulk jumps on top of Tony. Tony shoves him into the wall. Tony tells Hulk to work with him and calls him Bruce then he sprays him with something.
"I really don't think calling him Bruce is doing you any favors." Natasha said.
Hulk kicks him into the elevator. Tony grabs the wire before the elevator hits the ground and tells everyone to get out. They get out.
Everyone looked relieved that those people were okay.
Tony hits Hulk with the elevator, then punches him in the face. Hulk spits out a tooth.
"Uh-oh."
Tony pales and apologizes.
Everyone else stared at the screen in shock.
Hulk slams Tony into a building. Tony asks for a damage report. Nothing happens.
"Helpful." Tony said sarcastically.
Tony says that that is comprehensive then says to show him something. The screen shows a building that is clear of civilians. He asks hoq quickly the can buy the building.
A few people laughed again.
Tony drops Hulk over the building, then slams him through each of the stories. The building collapses.
"Oh my god."
Hulk sits up, head pushing through the rubble. He sees the civilians running away.
Everyone looked saddened by that, especially Bruce.
Tony knocks him out.
Everyone was quiet for a moment. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Wanda apologized.
The five avengers who were affected by Wanda's powers just nodded in acknowledgement of the apology, but they couldn't forgive her for it. Bruce felt nothing but anger toward Wanda at the moment.
The avengers are on the quinjet, Clint's piloting. Maria is on a video call with Tony, she tells them that the news is loving them.
"Of course they are." Clint muttered.
She says that no one else is. She says that there isn't an official call for Bruce's arrest but it's in the air.
Bruce sighed even though he knew it was coming.
Tony asks about the Stark relief foundation.
Maria says that they're already on the scene and asks how the team is.
"Not great." Natasha said.
Tony says that they took a hit and they'll shake it off.
Maria advises them to stay in stealth mode and stay away from there.
"So go into hiding." Tony said.
"Well... we can't exactly do much else." Natasha said.
Tony says that they should run and hide.
Maria says that she doesn't have much else to offer until they can find Ultron.
Tony says that they don't either.
The avengers all sighed, hopelessly.
Tony walks up to Clint and asks if he wants to switch out.
Clint says he good and says now is a good time to rest of he wants to because they're still a few hours away.
"From where?" Steve asked.
Tony asks where they're a few hours frim.
Clint says a safe house.
Clint blinked. Was he taking the team to his house? The one where his family is?
