The Avengers and Wakandans rush to the border, Bruce is the the hulk-buster armor. Steve asks Bruce how they're looking.
Bruce says he thinks he has the hang of it and says it's like being Hulk without actually being Hulk then he trips and falls.
Everyone tried to stifle their laughter. Bruce looked embarrassed.
Rhodey says he has 2 heat signatures breaking through the tree line. Proxima and Cull wait outside the border.
"Oh great, these two." Natasha sighed.
Everyone gets into formation at the border. The Jabari start chanting. T'Challa and M'Baku shake hands. T'Challa thanks him for standing with them.
The Wakandans smiled slightly.
Proxima takes out her sword as T'Challa, Steve and Natasha walk up to her. Natasha asks where her other friend is.
Proxima says she will pay for his life with hers.
"Wait, we killed him?" Sam asked.
"One less of the Black order to worry about." Gamora said.
Proxima says Thanos will have the stone.
Steve says that won't happen.
T'Challa says they're in Wakanda now and Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood.
Everyone fell silent and just let the weight of T'Challa's words stay in the air.
Proxima says they have blood to spare. The ships start opening.
"Let me guess, another army of mindless creatures?" Tony asked, remembering the Chitauri.
They walk back and Bucky asks Steve if they surrendered.
"What do you think?" Sam asked, drily.
The outriders emerge from the ships and tear through the forest.
"What are those things?" Bruce asked.
"Outriders." Nebula answered. "Genetically engineered to serve their maker until death."
The Wakandans start chanting. The outriders rush toward the border. Natasha says it looks like they pissed Proxima off.
"No shit, Romanov." Fury said.
The Outriders reach the border and die trying to get in.
"They don't even care that they're killing themselves." Shuri said, horrified. "They just keep coming."
"They're expendable." Gamora said.
"Proxima did say she had blood to spare." Steve agreed.
Okoye says they're killing themselves. A few outriders make it through the border alive.
"Oh no." Peter said, worried.
The Wakandans in the front make shields, and everyone else starts firing.
Sam releases a few drones and asks if anyone saw the teeth on the outriders.
"How could you miss them?" Quill asked.
Rhodey tells Sam to back up, then drops a few grenades along the border.
The outriders move along the border. Bruce tells Steve that of they circle the perimeter and get behind them there's nothing between them and Vision.
"So we need to keep them contained." Rhodey said. "How?"
Steve says they need to keep them in front.
Okoye asks T'Challa how they're supposed to do that.
T'Challa says they'll open the border.
"You're doing what!?" Okoye and Shuri asked.
Over comms, T'Challa says to open northwest section 17 on his signal.
M'Baku says this will be the end of Wakanda.
Okoye says it will be the noblest ending in history.
The Wakandans smiled sadly, agreeing with the sentiment.
The Wakandans take down their shields. T'Challa walks to the front. "Wakanda Forever!" Everyone charges. A section of the border opens and the Outriders run in.
"Here we go." Bruce said, shakily.
Steve and T'Challa leap and attack the Outriders, everyone else joins them. T'Challa asks Shuri how much longer.
In her lab, Shuri says she's only just begun.
T'Challa tells her to pick up the pace.
"What I'm doing is a very delicate process, brother." Shuri said.
Thor stands in the iris of Nidavellir and calls of the Allfathers for strength.
"You are absolutely insane." Rocket deadpanned.
"If you die, I'll will bring you back from Valhalla and kill you myself." Loki said.
Eitri tells Thor that he's about to take the full force of a star and says it will kill him.
Thor says that's only if he dies.
"I really hope you don't die." Coulson said.
Eitri says that's what 'killing him' means. Thor pulls the iris open and the forge lights again.
"Well, I'll be dammed." Steve said.
Eitri rushes to the melting pot then tips the melted liquid into the mold. Thor passes out and falls.
"Thor!" Loki shouted, worried.
Rocket lands the pod across from Thor and rushes to him and asks if he's okay.
"Does he look okay to you?" Loki asked.
Eitri brushes the mold to the ground. Rocket says he thinks Thor's dying.
"Oh god." Pepper said anxiously.
Eitri says Thor needs the axe then asks Groot to help him find the handle then rushes to look for it.
Groot grows his arm to grab the two pieces of the axe then chops his limb. Thor holds his hand out and the lightning sparks around the axe.
"Thank you, tree." Thor said to Groot.
"I am Groot." (My name isn't Tree.)
Bruce stomps on some outriders. One of them tackles Bucky who stabs it.
"Bucky." Steve gasped, worriedly.
In the air, Rhodey shoots at the outriders coming through the border before he gets knocked out of the air.
"Rhodey!" Tony, Pepper, Happy and Sam gasped.
T'Challa and Steve get thrown around by some outrides, Bruce is buried beneath some.
Everyone sighed, feeling hopeless. Things were not looking good for them now.
"We are severely outnumbered." Thor said.
The Bifrost takes Thor, Rocket and Groot to Wakanda. Thor throws Stormbreaker and it electrocutes a lot of outriders, freeing Bruce and Steve.
"Yes!" Everyone cheered, maybe things could start looking up for them.
Bruce tells Proxima and Cull that they're screwed now.
"Yes they are." Fury said, finally allowing himself to feel a small amount of optimism, even though he was still worried about the present threat.
Thor says to bring him Thanos then he jumps up and brings Stormbreaker down and electrocutes everything in his immediate vicinity.
"Hell yeah!" Valkyrie shouted.
"I think Thor wins best entrance." Scott said to Hope.
Thanos uses the Space Stone to get to Titan.
Tony, Peter, Quill, Mantis and Drax all tensed in their chairs.
Strange sees him and says that he's much more of a Thanos.
"Are you trying to antagonize him?" Hope asked.
Thanos notes that Maw must be dead and says this day extracts a heavy toll.
The guardians all glared at Thanos, remembering what he did to Gamora.
Thanos looks at the Eye of Agamotto and says that Maw accomplished his mission.
"He doesn't even feel any remorse." Clint said, angrily.
"Of course he doesn't." Scott said. "He only cares about his power and his plan."
Strange says Thanos may regret that and says May brought him face to face with a Master of the Mystic Arts. Quill and Peter watch their conversation from a distance.
"So your planning to ambush him?" Natasha asked.
"I guess." Quill said.
Thanos asks where Strange thinks Maw brought him.
Strange guesses that it's Thanos' home.
Thanos says it was, then uses the Reality Stone to show what Titan used to look like.
"Oh wow." Quill said.
"It actually looks very beautiful." Maria said, shocked.
Thanos says Titan was like most planets and says there were too many mouths and not enough to go around and he offered a solution when they faced extinction.
"Killing half of the people is a great solution." Strange said, sarcastically.
"He killed half of his own planet?" Ned asked, horrified. "What a monster."
Strange says it was genocide.
Thanos says it was at random and fair to rich and poor alike and says they called him a madman and what he predicted came to pass. He lets the illusion fade.
"You are a madman." Wanda said.
Strange sarcastically congratulates him on being a prophet.
"Reminds me of Ultron." Clint said.
Thanos says he's a survivor.
Strange says he wants to murder trillions.
Thanos says he could snap his fingers with the 6 stones and they could all ceace to exists and says he calls it mercy.
"You have a severely deranged definition of the word 'mercy'." Natasha said.
Strange asks what he'd do then.
Thanos says he'd finally rest and watch the sun rise of a grateful universe.
"Grateful!?" Everyone shouted.
Thanos says the hardest choices require the strongest wills.
Strange says he thinks Thanos will find their will equal to his then summons his shields.
Tony pushes a large piece of debris onto Thanos and says that was a piece of cake.
"It couldn't possibly be that easy." Rhodey said.
Quill says it was if their goal was to piss him off. Thanos uses the Power Stone to break apart the debris and uses the Reality Stone to turn it into birds that chase Tony.
"Shit!" Tony cursed.
Peter shoots a web at Thanos' eyes, Drax cuts the back of his knees. Strange conjures a weapon and starts hitting Thanos with it. Thanos kicks Drax away, rips the webs off his face and stops Strange's weapon and kicks him.
"Oh no." Peter said.
Strange conjures platforms for Quill to jump on as he shoots Thanos, then Quill attaches something to Thanos' back, gives him the finger and falls into a portal.
A few people had to laugh a little at Quill's antics, despite the high-stress situation.
Thanos gets electrouted. The cloak flies to him and Strange tells it not to let Thanos close his fist. The cloak wraps around the gauntlet.
Everyone leaned forward in anticipation.
Strange conjures portals for Peter to jump through as he kicks Thanos in the face. After the 3rd kick Thanos chokes Peter and calls him an insect.
"Arachnid technically." Peter corrected quietly.
Thanos throws Peter into Strange.
"Peter!" May, Ned and MJ gasped.
Thanos rips the Cloak off the gauntlet. Tony fires missiles at him, who uses the Power Stone to absorb the energy from the explosions and fires it back at Tony.
"Holy shit!" Happy yelled.
Peter shoots a web at the gauntlet and pulls. Thanos uses the web as leverage to bring Peter toward him and punch him in the face. A ship crashes into Thanos.
"Who the hell is that?" Sam asked.
Thanos gets up, Nebula leaps toward him and punches him.
"Oh, it's you." Sam said to Nebula.
Nebula says he should've killed her.
Thanos says it would've been a waste of parts.
"And you have the audacity to call yourself a father." Nebula scoffed.
Nebula starts swinging her sword at him and asks where Gamora is. Thanos kicks her away.
Nebula and Gamora looked at each other with sorrow in their eyes.
Strange wraps a magical rope around the gauntlet and pulls. Quill electrocutes his hand. Peter wraps a web around his chest and pulls on the gauntlet. Strange's rope disappears Mantis to falls through a portal and sits on Thanos's shoulders and holds his head.
Everyone was now on the edge of their seats, waiting to see if they could get the gauntlet off. "Come on guys." Scott said, anxiously.
Tony tells her not to let up.
Mantis tells him to be quick because Thanos is very strong.
Tony asks Peter for help and they both pull on the gauntlet. Quill lands in front of Thanos and says he thought he'd be hard to catch and says that for the record this was his plan.
"Seriously?" Tony asked, incredulously.
Quill comments about Thanos not being so strong now and asks where Gamora is.
Mantis says Thanos is in anguish and he mourns.
Drax asks what Thanos has to mourn. Nebula realizes he's mourning Gamora.
"Peter." Gamora said, worried about what on-screen Quill would do once he learns of what Thanos did to her.
Nebula says Thanos took her to Vormir and returned with the Soul Stone but she didn't.
Everyone glanced at Quill apprehensively. Quill had a blank face.
Tony tells Quill that he needs to cool it and says they almost have the gauntlet off.
Quill asks Thanos to tell him that Nebula's lying and that he didn't do it.
Thanos says he had to.
"Bullshit!" The Guardians shouted.
Quill says he didn't have to then starts punching Thanos. Tony grabs his arms. Peter almost gets the gauntlet but Thanos quickly snaps awake and grabs it then throws Mantis off his shoulders.
Quill winced when he saw himself lose his composure.
"Son of a bitch." Fury cursed.
"We almost had it, we were so close." Drax said.
Everyone wanted to be mad at Quill for snapping at Thanos and ruining the plan to get the gauntlet off but they couldn't be. They understood why Quill did what he did and most of them would've done the same thing if they were his shoes but that didn't mean they had to be happy about it.
Peter jumps toward Mantis and wraps the suits legs around her to protect her form the fall.
"Thank you." Mantis said to Peter.
Thanos throws Strange away and uses the Power Stone to knock Quill, Drax and Nebula away. Tony flies in and starts fighting Thanos who uses the Power and Space Stones to throw chunks of a moon at him.
"Did he just- that's a moon." Tony said as his eyes widened in fear.
In her lab, Shuri continues trying to remove the Mind Stone. Outside, Cull hits various people with his hammer. T'Challa uses the kinetic energy in his suit to knock him down.
"Nice!" Shuri said.
Rocket tells the Outriders to come at get some and calls them space dogs and shoots at them.
"Space dogs?" Rhodey questioned.
Bucky sees a group coming toward them, picks Rocket up and spins around to shoot them. Bucky sets Rocket down and Rocket asks how much for the gun.
Bucky says it's not for sale.
Rocket asks how much for the arm.
"You're not getting the arm." Bucky said.
Bucky walks off. Rocket says he'll get the arm.
"Yeah... good luck with that." Bucky said.
"We need to talk about your thing with prosthetics it's weird." Gamora said to Rocket.
Thor uses Stormbreaker and lightning to cut through some outriders, he sees Steve who comments on his haircut. Thor says Steve copied his beard.
"You two actually look very similar now." Clint said.
Groot extends his arm through 3 outriders. Thor introduces Groot as his friend 'Tree'.
"I am Groot." "I am Steve Rogers."
Everyone snorted at that. The Guardians and Thor found it especially funny.
In Shuri's lab, Wanda looks outside and sees a giant wheel of spikes emerge from underground.
"What the hell is that!?" Sam asked.
"It got under the barrier." Okoye noted.
"They could've done that this whole time, they were just... toying with us." Clint said.
"Or distracting us..." Natasha trailed off.
T'Challa tells everyone to fall back.
Rhodey tells Sam to focus his fire on the left flank. Sam and Rhodey shoot at one of the wheels.
Okoye and Natasha fight an Outrider. Wanda appears and uses magic to lift the spikes and brings them down to kill a group of outriders.
"Oh, thank god." Sam sighed, relieved that the giant spike wheels were gone.
Okoye asks why Wanda was up there this whole time.
"Because she was supposed to be with Vision so she could destroy the stone as soon as it was out of his head." Natasha said.
Proxima notes that Wanda is on the field and tells Glaive to take the stone. Glaive busts into the lab.
"Shit, he's alive." Sam said, anxiously.
Shuri continues while Ayo fights Glaive. Ayo gets hit to the ground, Shuri swipes her work away, grabs a weapon and starts fighting Glaive.
"Shuri!" T'Challa and Okoye gasped, worried.
Ayo stands up and Glaive tackles them to the floor, Vision gets off the table and tackles Glaive through the window.
"Vision!" Everyone yelled.
"Are you crazy?" Natasha asked Vision.
Sam notifies everyone of the Vision situation and gets tackled out of the air by an outrider.
Steve tells someone to get to Vision then gets tackled by an outrider.
Bruce says he's on it.
"Thank you." Sam said.
Wanda says she's on her way and gets hit into a ditch by Proxima who says he'll die alone and she will too.
"She-devil." Gamora and Nebula said.
Natasha appears and says Wanda's not alone. Okoye is on Proxima's other side and points her spear at her then she and Natasha fight Proxima.
"It's on."
In the woods, Glaive drops Vision. When Vision stands, Cull hits him away. Bruce drops down in front of them and says this won't be like New York because the suit has already kicked the crap out of the Hulk.
"Did it really though? I mean you had to take push him through a giant empty building to finally subdue him." Rhodey said. Bruce and Tony winced remembering Johannesburg. Wanda looked at Bruce guiltily.
Cull ties his hammer around Bruce's hands, they fly up then drop near water.
"And now Vision is alone." Natasha sighed.
Bruce says Vision needs back-up and tells Hulk that he knows he likes making appearances at the last second but this is the last last second. Cull cuts the suit's arm off. Hulk emerges for a second only to say 'no.'
"Again. You and Hulk should really sort out your issues." Pepper said.
Bruce says he'll do it himself and calls Hulk a big, green asshole.
A few people snorted at the nickname Bruce gave Hulk.
Bruce punches Cull on the head then throws him into the water. Cull tries to stab Bruce but Bruce grabs the discarded arm and locks it on Cull's arm and it drags him along the border.
"Clever move, Banner." Tony said.
Bruce tells Hulk that they have a lot to figure out.
"Yes you do." Shuri agreed.
Okoye and Natasha are still fighting Proxima, they pause briefly when one of the spike wheels passes over them. Proxima kicks Natasha and Okoye off of her.
"Damn it." Hope said.
Glaive chokes Vision and says he thought Vision was a formidable machine but he's dying like any man.
Tony, Bruce and Wanda all glared at Glaive. Vision was much more than a machine.
Glaive rips his weapon out of Vision and drops him.
"No!" Everyone yelled.
Steve runs in, tackles Glaive and tells Vision to go.
"Listen to him, Vision." Sam said.
Natasha uses her batons to attack Proxima who backs her to the ground and tries to stab her. Wanda uses magic to get Proxima off Natasha and send her into one of the spike wheels.
"Finally." Natasha breathed, thankful that Proxima was dealt with.
Proxima's blue blood splatters on Natasha's face. Natasha says that was really gross.
"I agree." Okoye said,
Steve continues fighting Glaive, Glaive drops his weapon then chokes Steve and throws him over a log then jumps on top of him and chokes him again. Vision impales Glaive on his discarded weapon.
"Thank you." Steve said to Vision.
Vision falls, Steve helps him up and says he thought he told him to leave. Vision says they don't trade lives.
