Scott wakes up in a car, Hope is driving.

"You kidnapped me?" Scott asked. Hope shrugged.

Scott asks if this is another dream.

Hope asks Scott if it was really possible he saw Janet in the quantum realm or if it was just a dream.

"No time for pleasantries, I see." Sam said.

Scott says he isn't sure before he suddenly remembers that he can't be there because he's under house arrest and he tries to get out of the car.

"Those FBI agents are probably searching the house right now." Scott said, worried.

Hope says those don't operate while the system's engaged. A giant eye looks in the window and Scott looks out to see 2 pigeons.

"What the hell!?" Bucky gasped.

"The car is shrunken isn't it?" Scott asked.

"Most likely." Hope responded.

A garbage truck drives over Hope's car.

"This is just weird." Tony said.

Scott tells Hope to take him home because the FBI could show up at any second.

Hope says as far as his 'nanny cops' know, he's still at home.

"Nanny cops?" Scott asked. "And how would they think I'm home?"

Scott sees that the ankle monitor has been removed.

At Scott's house, his ankle monitor is attacked to a giant ant who's eating cereal out of the box and watching TV.

"Look at the resemblance." Hope joked.

Luis walks in and asks the ant if he's Scott.

"He seriously thinks the ant is you?" Bruce asked.

Hope says the ant is programmed to replicate Scott's routine which is: 9 hours in bed, 5 hours in front of the TV and 2 hours in the bathroom.

"I do not spend 2 hours in the bathroom." Scott protested.

"Who are you fooling?" Hank asked.

Scott says that's totally inaccurate and asks how she knows his routine and asks if she's spying on him.

Hope says they keep tabs on all security threats and so far the biggest one they've had is him.

Scott winced. "I'm sorry." He said.

"Why are you apologizing for things that happened in the future?" Hope asked.

Scott apologizes for Germany and says they just showed up and said it was a matter of national security and cap needed help.

"I'm sorry for getting you involved, Scott." Steve apologized even though this hasn't technically happened yet.

Hope asks who cap is.

Scott says it's Captain America or Cap and says it's what they call him if they're friends and says he's not saying that they're friends but he knows him.

"Wish you weren't so freaking awkward, bud." Clint said.

Scott says he didn't think he'd get caught.

"That's your defense?" Hank asked.

Hope says he doesn't think about a lot of things.

Scott asks how Hank is.

Hope says they're still running and says the house and their freedom is gone.

Scott looked down, guiltily.

"All this because you had their tech." Rhodey sighed.

Scott apologizes again and says he knows she's mad.

Hope says she's not looking for an apology and says she needs what's in his head.

"You really think it'll help you guys find her?" Scott asked.

Hope pulls a lever and the car gets to normal size, they walk into a building, then into an elevator. Scott asks if this is where she's living and says he can help if she needs money.

Hope says they're fine.

"This is... so awkward." Quill said.

They walk out of the elevator and into a lab. Giant ants are working on the quantum tunnel.

"Wow." Ned said.

Hank walks out of the quantum tunnel.

"He doesn't look happy to see you." Sam commented.

Scott goes to apologize. Hank tells them to save it and asks hope if they can start.

Hope says they were building this while Scott was relaxing at home.

"I wouldn't really call it relaxing." Scott mumbled.

"Really? Because that's kind of what it looked like." Hope said.

Hope says it's a tunnel to the quantum realm so they can find Janet and says the think she might still be down there but they don't know where and says the pod can take her down to get her if they pinpoint the location.

"And you think Scott can tell you the exact location?" Strange asked.

Scott says they built all of this and they don't even know if she's alive.

Hank says it's called a hypothesis.

"We won't know if we don't try." Hank said. "We'll regret not trying if we didn't."

Hank says they powered up the tunnel for the first time last night and it was overloaded and shut down but the doorway to the quantum realm was open for a split second.

Hope says Scott called 5 minutes later talking about Janet.

"You think that those two events are connected?" Scott asked.

"It could just be a coincidence." Steve suggested.

"Unlikely." Hank said.

Hank says they think Scott might've entangled with her when he was down there.

Scott says he would never do that because he respects Hank too much.

"I- I don't think that's what he meant." Howard said.

Hank says he meant quantum entanglement.

Hope says they think she might've put a message in his head which they hope is a location.

"How would she do something like that?" Scott wondered.

Hope says opening the tunnel might've triggered it.

Scott incredulously, says that Janet put a message in his head and says it's insane.

Hank says insane is going to Germany and fighting the Avengers without telling them.

Scott cringed. He wanted to apologize, but he figured they might get mad at him if he did that again.

Hank says to tell him he isn't lying about the suit he took and that he really destroyed it.

Scott swears that he destroyed it.

Hank says he can't believe that Scott destroyed the suit and says it was his life's work.

"So you wanted him to destroy it... but you're mad that he destroyed it?" Peter asked. "How does that make sense?"

Scott asks what he was supposed to do.

"Not take it to Germany." Hank said.

Hank says he was supposed to not take the suit.

"Sorry." Scott said.

Scott apologizes for taking the suit and for calling and says he doesn't remember seeing Janet down there and says he had a dream about her playing hide-and-seek with a little girl.

"With me." Hope said.

Hank and Hope look at him. Scott says he dreamt about Janet playing hide-and-seek with a little girl and says he and Cassie do it all the time and it doesn't mean anything.

"But that isn't the case here." Hope said.

Hope asks if it was Cassie in the dream.

Scott says it wasn't.

Hope asks where she was hiding and asks if it was a wardrobe.

Scott says it was a tall dresser.

"That is a wardrobe, Scott." Hank sighed.

Hank says he means a wardrobe.

Scott asks if that's what it's called.

"Yes, you didn't know that?" Natasha asked.

Hope asks what color it was.

Scott says it was red.

Hope asks if there were horses on it and says it's where she hid every time they played.

"You hid in the same spot every time you played hide-and-seek?" May asked.

Scott says it doesn't sound like she got the gist of the game.

"Right?" Sam agreed.

Hope says Janet's still alive and she and Hank smile and hug.

"This is great!" Scott said, excitedly.

Hope says they need to get the part and they rush into another room. She says the sooner they can get the tunnel working the sooner they can get the message out of Scott's head. Hank grabs a case.

"Hopefully it tells us where she is." Hope said.

Hank asks if Burch has it.

Hope says he does.

Scott asks what part, who Burch is and what's happening.

"Yeah, who is Burch?" Scott asked, but received no answer.

They leave the building. Hope says they need a component to stop the tunnel from overloading and tells Scott that he grabbed his clothes and he might want to change. Hank opens his car case.

"You keep your cars in a case?" Tony asked.

"It's convenient." Hank answered.

Hank shrinks the car and replaces it with a van. Scott says he'd like to help and says he's going away forever if he's not home when the FBI comes to take off the ankle monitor.

"I would really like to not go back to prison." Scott added.

Hope says once they get the component, and power up the tunnel they'll get the message and have him back by lunch.

Hank says they need to hurry because the entanglement won't last and tells Scott that he owes them.

"That's true, I guess." Scott agreed.

Scott asks if he can wait inside because he isn't supposed to be out there.

Hank shrinks the building and pulls it like a suitcase.

"That's really cool." Shuri said.

"Well, okay then." Scott said.

They get in the van and drive away.

A flickering figure watches.

"Who the hell is that?" Hope asked.

Hank, Hope and Scott are in a parking garage. Hope tells Hank that she'll be right back and leaves.

Scott looks at a box of altoids and asks if he can have one. Hank says no and moves the tin.

'Rude.' Scott thought.

Hope walks into the building and spots some security guards before finding Burch. Burch recognizes her as 'Susan.'

"Using an alias, smart." Clint said.

Burch says 'qui' is French for yes as in yes to farm-to-table, yes to locally sourced and yes to planet before profit.

"Huh?"

Hope sets the money on the table and says she hopes it also means yes to 'Do you have the component I ordered?'.

Burch says he's always loved her sense of humor and tells her to sit.

"This man is... weird." Thor said.

In the van, Scott asks Hank who Burch is.

Hank says his name is Sonny Burch and he traffics in black market technology.

"Oh?" Ned asked.

Hank says he's been getting them what they need to build the tunnel. Scott reaches for the altoids again, Hank slaps his hand.

"I have a feeling that those aren't really Altoids." Scott said.

In the building. Burch says he has a friend at the FBI who tells him things that he didn't previously know.

"I don't like where this is going." Steve said.

Burch says Hope's name isn't really Susan but it's Hope Van Dyne and her unseen associate is Dr. Hank Pym.

"Shit." Hank swore.

In the van, Scott says this isn't good.

"Way to state the obvious." Hope said.

In the building, someone pulls out a chair for Hope who sits down and asks Burch what he wants.

Burch says relationships are built on trust and he wants their relationship to have a strong foundation.

Hope looked at the screen, suspicion in her eyes.

Burch says his business landscape has been shifting and says SHIELD and Hydra don't exist anymore and says Hank is a real opportunity.

"What does he want?" Natasha asked.

Hope asks if he has a point.

Burch asks if she thinks he doesn't know what they've been building with all of the quantum technology.

"Oh dear." Scott said.

Burch says they ca forget nano-tech, AI and cryptocurrency and says quantum technology is the future.

"He does have a point about that." Fury said.

Burch says it's the next gold-rush and says he wants in and says as a gesture of goodwill he's taken the liberty of arranging some buyers for the lab and the starting bid is 1 billion dollars.

"So that's what he wants." Hope noted.

"That won't happen." Hank vowed.

Hope thanks him and says she and Hank have something slightly more pressing than starting a business.

"But of course, all he cares about is the money." Sam said.

Hope says she'll take the component like they arranged.

Burch says his buyers wont take no for an answer so they're either in business together or they aren't.

Hope says they aren't.

"Damn."

Hope goes to take the money but Burch grabs it and says she can go but her money's going to have to remain.

"Dick." Scott said.

Burch says they can call it compensation for his injured feelings.

Hope rolled her eyes.

Hope says this'll be easier on everyone if he gives her the component.

Burch says the only thing she's taking from there is his heart and says it'll mend in time.

"He is definitely weird." Rhodey said, agreeing with Thor from when he said it first.

Hope walks away.

"How are you gonna get the component you need now?" Bruce asked.

In the van, Scott asks what now.

Hank says he'll see.

That peaked everyone's interest.

Burch walks with his team and says Hope said her and Hank had something pressing and he wants to know what it is.

"Why?" Ned asked.

Burch says if they're not working with them they're working with someone and he wants to find out who. Suddenly someone gets thrown into a table.

"What the hell was that?" Scott asked.

Hope flies into view.

"Oh, it was you." Scott said. "Wait you have wings?"

In the van, Scott asks hank if he gave Hope wings.

"You sound a little jealous, Scott." Hope joked.

Hope grows to normal size and punches someone and shoots something at 2 others to knock them out. She shrinks and knocks another guy into a table then grows again and kicks someone in the face.

"Nice." Bucky said.

Hope punches someone and shoots another before kicking the first again. She wraps her legs around another guy and throws him into something.

"Badass." Natasha said.

Hope flies into the chandelier as people start shooting at her. Burch worries about his chandelier as people shoot it. Hope leans on one of the crystals of the chandelier after Burch tells everyone to stop shooting.

Everyone rolled their eyes at Burch

"Is the chandelier seriously what he's worried about?" Strange asked, incredulous.

Burch hands the money to someone and tells them to go. Hope flies into someone and tackles him into the kitchen. She grows to full size and throws a salt shaker enlarges it so it blocks the exit.

A few people snickered at that.

A man walks into the kitchen and throws a knife, Hope shrinks and dodges it. The man throws more and Hope dodges them.

"Awesome." Scott said to Hope. "You not the guy throwing knives at you." He clarified.

Hope jumps onto a pot and launches boiling water at the guy's face.

"Ouch." Sam said and winced.

Hope lands on the counter, someone tries to crush her with a meat mallet. She flies through a bag of flower and turns on the stove which sets fire to a guy's sleeve.

"Oh dear." Loki said, somewhat sarcastically.

Hope grows to normal size and kicks him in the chest, punches another guy and hits someone with a frying pan.

"Rapunzel moment." Peter commented.

Hope slams a guy into a counter and kicks another through the door. She walks out of the kitchen and takes the money.

"You're good." Scott said, impressed.

"In case you forgot, I'm the one who trained you." Hope said. "Of course I'm good."

In the van, Scott comments on the wings and blasters and says Hank must not have had that tech available for him.

Hank says he actually did.

"Wow." Scott deadpanned

Hope walks past Burch with the money and the component and says it was a pleasure doing business with him. She gives him the money.

Burch says their business isn't finished yet. As Hope nears the door, the flickering figure appears.

"It's that person again." Scott said.

"Who are they?" Hope asked.

Burch stands up and asks what the hell that is. The person walks toward Hope who prepares for a fight. Hope goes to shoot them but they phase through her.

"Okay, what?" Sam asked.

Hope dodges their next punches. They grab the component, Hope shrinks and flies into their face, then kicks them and takes the component back. Hope asks Hank if he's seeing this.

"How do they just keep... disappearing like that?" Bruce asked.

Hank tells Hope to get out. The figure appears again, and throws Hope into a table causing her to drop the component. Hope slides the component away, shrinks and kicks a cart into the person and it just passes through them.

"How the hell are they doing that?" Tony asked.

In the van, Scott says he needs to do something.

Hank tells him to wait, hands him a suit and says it's still a work in progress.

"Better than nothing, I suppose." Scott said, quietly.

The person goes to hit Hope again but she shrinks and drops the component. Scott flies in on an ant. The person picks up the component.

"Why do they want that?" Scott wondered.

Hope steps on the component and shoot the figure who shoves her into a wall. Scott grows to normal size and stops the person from punching Hope and kicks them between the legs.

"Ooh." Everyone cringed.

Scott reminds Hope that she taught him that.

Hope compliments his form.

Scott says those were the days and asks what happened to them.

"Fight now, reminisce later." Natasha said.

Hope says it's not the time.

"No, it is not." Coulson said.

They notice that the person is gone.

"Damn." Hope sighed.

They burst into the kitchen and Hope says she lost it. Hank says he isn't seeing anything on the ant-cams and gets cut off. Hope and Scott shrink and take off.

In the van, the person has their fist through Hank's throat.

"Hank!" Scott yelled, worried.

"Dad!" Hope yelled at the same time, also worried.

The person points to the lab and asks Hank to give it to them.

Hank, Hope and Scott all tensed.

Scott and Hope reach the van, Hank says they got the lab.

"Shit!" Hank, Hope and Scott swore.

They get into the van. Hope drives and asks what that was. Hank says he doesn't know and says they need somewhere to regroup and figure out where the lab is.

"Could you take me home first?" Scott asked, worried about his future self's house arrest.

Scott asks where they're going now and suggests his house because he's supposed to be there and Jimmy could walk in any second.

"To be fair, that's probably why they shouldn't go to your house." Sam said.

"You'll be fine, Scott." Hope assured.

Hank says that's exactly why they're not going to his house.

Scott suggests they go to Hank's house.

Hope and Hank give Scott an incredulous look.

Scott says there is a place he can think of.

Hank says no several times.

"You're taking them to Luis'." Clint realized.

"You got that from Hank saying 'no.'?" Scott asked.

At Luis', Luis prepares coffee and asks who would've thought that in Hank's hour of need he'd turn to them.

Hank only sighed.

Kurt puts out some store-bought pastries. Luis asks him what's up with the fancy pastry and says they need to keep the food budget low.

Dave asks what they're supposed to have for breakfast.

"Cereal?" Scott suggested.

"Oatmeal?" Sam added.

"Toast?" Clint contributed.

Luis says the oatmeal packets. Dave scoffs.

Kurt calls them an insult.

Luis asks how it's an insult.

Kurt says it tastes like sand.

"True, it does taste like sand." Scott said.

"Well, that depends on what kind you get. If you get the plain ones and put nothing in it, it'll taste like nothing so that's why you have to get the flavored ones like cinnamon and maple brown sugar." Ned said. "If you're feeling adventurous you can get the fruit ones like strawberry or peach."

Luis says it's because it's organic.

"Organic oatmeal?" Tony asked.

Luis says it isn't organic, it's sand.

Dave says breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

"To some people." Shuri said, she rarely ate breakfast because she was never hungry in the morning so she waited until lunch to eat.

Luis says they can get creative with the oatmeal by putting brown sugar, cinnamon or honey in it.

"Exactly." Sam agreed.

Scott stops them and says they have bigger fish to fry and looks over at a table and asks if it's his desk. Luis confirms.

"It's a card table." Scott sighed.

Scott asks why he has such a small desk.

Luis says he wasn't there when they were choosing desks.

"Because I couldn't be." Scott said.

Kurt says if he snoozes he loses.

Scott says he was on house arrest and says this isn't even a desk and calls it garbage and says they found it outside with garbage.

"Chill, it's just a desk." Rhodey said.

"No, it's not just a desk." Scott said.

Luis says he got it at a rummage sale.

Scott says Luis saved money on his desk.

Hope redirects their attention.

Scott says they need to focus.

"Exactly." Hope said. "And the three of you have gotten off track how many times now?"

Scott says they need to find the lab.

Luis says he's heard stories about some creepy cat who walks through walls.

"He knows about the person we ran into?" Scott asked.

Luis says they're like a ghost.

Kurt says they're like Baba Yaga.

"How is this person anything like Baba Yaga?" Natasha asked.

Everyone looks at him. Kurt says Baba Yaga is a witch and says they tell stories to children to frighten them.

Hope says they need to find the lab from whoever stole it.

Dave says they won't find someone like that but the person will find them.

"True." Scott agreed.

Luis says Hank is the smartest genius he knows and asks if he put some kind of LoJack on his lab and says they have a variety of affordable options if he didn't.

"So it's a security business." Scott said, happy his question was finally answered.

Hank says he did but it was disabled and says whoever stole the lab knew exactly what they were doing.

"That's a scary thought." Bruce said.

Hope says the person looked like they were phasing.

Hank says it was quantum phasing and says it's when an object moves through different states of matter.

Scott says that's exactly what he was thinking.

"No it wasn't." Hope said.

Hope says the lab emits radiation and asks if they can modify the quantum spectrometer to track it.

Hank says that could work but all of his equipment is in his lab.

"Which was stolen." Hank said. "Back to the original problem."

Scott asks where else they can find that equipment.

Hank says there is one person and says it's Bill Foster.

"Who's Bill Foster?" Scott asked, sensing it was someone Hank had history with judging by their reactions.

"Somebody that I used to work with." Hank answered.

Scott asks who Bill Foster is.

Hope says he's an old college of Hank's from SHIELD and they had a falling out years ago.

Luis says Hank seems to have falling outs with lots of people.

"You're not exactly wrong." Hope said, shocked that she actually agreed wit Luis on something.

Hank says this is probably a waste of time.

Scott says he's risking everything by being here and asks if they should check.

Hope says they need to find out who took the lab.

"We do." Hank sighed, not too thrilled with the prospect of seeing Bill Foster again.

The person walks into an old house with the lab and component, they set the things on the table and take the helmet off, revealing themselves to be Ava Starr. Ava sets her suit on a chair and stumbles into the chamber and lies down.
