Fury and Maria drive through Ixtenco, Mexico- which has been destroyed.

There was a series of winces as the various destroyed buildings and heaps of rubble appeared on the screen before them.

"What the hell happened there?" Clint wondered.

Maria says that what happened is a tragedy but it isn't why they're there before asking if they're fighting the weather.

"'Fighting the weather'? A storm did this?" Peter asked.

"Storms can get really nasty really fast." Natasha said.

"Must've been some storm." Tony said.

Fury says that the locals said the cyclone had a face.

"What?" Ned asked. "How can a cyclone have a face?"

"It better not be aliens again. I've had enough." Clint said.

"I feel you." Rhodey agreed.

Maria says that people see things when they're under stress.

"But a face on a cyclone?... That doesn't seem like the type of thing that people would think they saw."

Maria says it doesn't mean that it's the start of some big world ending event.

"After what we've seen- and we've seen a lot." Fury started. "You can never be too careful."

"You call it careful. I call it paranoia. But to each their own." Maria said, dismissively.

"There's a fine line between being aware and careful versus being paranoid and suspicious, Nick." Natasha added.

"At this point we should all have a healthy amount of constant paranoia." Bucky said quietly.

"No amount of paranoia is healthy, Barnes." Sam interjected.

Quentin Beck drops out of the sky in a cloud of green smoke, Fury and Maria ready their weapons. Quentin's helmet disappears with the smoke and he looks around.

"Who the hell is this guy?" Rhodey asked.

"Where did he come from?" Peter wondered.

Quentin asks who they are when suddenly a monster made of sand and rocks appears behind them.

"So the cyclone did have a face." Was the first thing that came out of Peter's mouth.

"How-?" Ned asked, confused.

"What is that thing?" Carol asked. "Last time I checked, Earth didn't have sentient rock monsters."

Quentin tells them that they don't want any part of this, then blasts the monster with green smoke that comes from his hands.

"You're right. I don't want any part in this. I want to pretend that I never saw that thing and move on with my day." Peter said.

"He has powers." Ned pointed out, when no one else seemed to notice. Or of they did, they didn't comment. "I wonder how he got them."

The Midtown High morning news plays a tribute to Tony, Steve, Natasha and Vision to the song 'I will Always Love You.'

Pepper started tearing, the memory of Tony's death was still too fresh in her mind and she didn't really want to be reminded of it. "Hey, I'm still here, not going anywhere." Tony said softly. Of course, she knew that it wasn't true but she took his words for how they were intended.

Wanda hadn't wanted to be reminded of Vision's death either. It hasn't even happened yet and she still felt the grief. It didn't matter that they weren't close now, or that they didn't know each other. He'd saved her life on Sokovia, and she hadn't been able to save his in return. If she couldn't save him, she'd settle for avenging him.

Natasha found the tribute incredibly heartwarming, if she were being honest with herself. It was very sweet that the kids wanted to honor them even if she didn't feel all that comfortable. yet, with being honored.

"I didn't die." Steve said.

"No, Captain Rogers. You did not die. However, it is not public knowledge that you chose to live out your days in the past." Lorraine informed. "Though... there are numerous conspiracy theories out there about what happened to you. Most of the public thinks your alive but hiding out somewhere."

Betty says they're gone but not forgotten.

Jason thanks the students who made the video.

Betty tries to talk about the past year in a professional way, Jason interrupts by saying that this shit is crazy. He get's censored.

"You can't just say that while you're on air, Jason." Peter sighed.

"But he's right." MJ said. "It was insane."

Betty reminds him that he can't swear.

Jason says it's the last day of school so they're good.

"He's got a point." Ned said. "It's the last day of school. Do whatever you want. What are they gonna do? Suspend you?"

Betty explains that over 5 years ago half of all life in the universe, including Midtown high, was erased.

A marching band is shown playing in a gymnasium as people in the band and audience disappear.

"I never even imagined how it must have been for everyone else who didn't know what was at risk." Rhodey said after a moment. "People were probably just going through their day and suddenly people start turning to dust everywhere."

"They were probably terrified." Carol said, remembering watching Clint's- who wasn't aware of Thanos and the threat he brought with him- reaction to his family disappearing.

Betty says a brave band of heroes brought them back six months ago.

In the same gymnasium, students are playing a basketball game. Those who were dusted re-appear in the same place they were before it happened.

"That's so weird." Mantis said.

"Scary too." Steve added, suspecting that some people, when they re-appeared- were probably in dangerous situations. People could have re-appeared in a busy street, the sky- if they were on a plane- the ocean, someone else's house even.

Betty says that they call it the blip.

"The blip." Sam said, voice very deadpan. "Are you serious? One of the most devastating events in our history and they chose to call it the blip?"

"It doesn't really do the event any justice." Clint agreed.

Betty says those who blipped returned the same age, but those who didn't are now five years older.

Jason says his little brother is now older than him.

"It's strange to think about how the world moved on when we, the "Blipped", were gone." Wanda said. A lot can change in five years. She wondered just how much had.

Betty says that even though they blipped halfway through the year and had taken their midterms, the school made them start the year over.

Jason makes a comment about it being unfair.

"Are you serious!?" MJ, Ned and Peter shouted. They had to do their junior year twice!?

"Jason's right. That's not fair." Ned said.

Betty says it's been a long, dramatic and somewhat confusing road and says it's time to move onto the next phase of their lives.

Jason tells them to pray nothing crazy happens again and asks if the Avengers are a thing anymore and if anyone has a plan.

"Are the Avengers still a thing?" Sam asked. "3 of us are dead, 1 is old and 2 of us are off world. So there's 6 of us left. Me, Rhodes, Clint, Bruce and Wanda and the kid." He said, using 'Kid' to refer to Peter.

"I'd like to thing that the Avengers are still a thing." Coulson replied Even if some of them are... gone or retired or out of commission for one reason or another. Coulson would like to think that should something world ending happened again, there would still be a group of people to stop it from ever coming to pass.

In a classroom, Peter sits down next to Ned and says he has a plan.

"Oh, good." Ned said. "Jason will be happy to hear that."

He says first he'll sit next to MJ on the flight, then he'll buy a dual headphone adapter so they can watch movies the whole time.

"Okay. Different kind of plan then." Ned sighed.

May leaned closer to Peter. "Peter you didn't tell me you had a crush." She said. Out loud. So that everyone could hear her.

"May..." Peter sighed and put his head in his hands.

Peter says when they go to Venice, which is famous for making stuff out of glass, he'll buy her a black dahlia necklace because her favorite flower is the black dahlia because of the murder.

"You remembered." MJ said with a soft smile.

"Of course I did it's a very... interesting fact." Peter replied.

Peters says when they're in Paris he'll take her to the top of the Eiffel tower and give her the necklace.

"You planning on asking me on a date, Parker?" MJ asked, trying not to let him know that she wanted him to. Besides he was being all cute about it. He came up with a plan and everything, and she wanted to see this plan in action if she were being honest.

Peter says the last part of his plan tell her how he feels and hope she tells him she feels the same way.

"It kinda defeats the purpose of the plan if you know about the plan, doesn't it?" Peter asked, awkwardly.

"A little bit." MJ said.

Ned tells him not to forget step 7 and says that its to not do any of that.

"What? Why?" Peter asked.

"Yeah Ned, why?" May asked. She thought Peter's plan was very sweet and she had a hunch that MJ felt the same way; she and Peter could be very cute together.

Ned says they're going to be bachelors in Europe.

"You can be a bachelor in Europe by yourself." Peter said.

"Yeah, but then it's less fun." Ned complained.

Ned says he doesn't know much but he does know that Europeans love Americans. Peter doesn't really believe him.

"Ummm." Peggy said, voice going up in pitch.

"We don't hate Americans." Natasha said.

"But I wouldn't say we love them either." Wanda added.

"Not all of you are bed." Peggy said quickly. "It's just... your country doesn't have the best reputation overseas."

Ned says more than half of the Europeans are women.

"Less than half are single." Peter pointed.

Peter says he really likes MJ and says she's awesome, super funny but in a dark way.

"Thanks, Parker." MJ said, feeling very flattered. Not very many people appreciate her brand of humor.

and sometimes he catches her looking at him and it makes him feel like he's stood up too fast. He notices MJ coming and tells Ned not to say anything.

"I already heard you." MJ said. "And, just so you know, you make me feel that way too sometimes."

Peter froze and blinked rapidly. Did she just say what he thought she just said? Could she feel the same way, possibly? Did he have a chance?

MJ greets them, calling them dorks and asks if they're excited about the science trip.

Peter says they were just talking about the trip. Ned mentions Peter's plan.

"Ned!" Peter yelled, betrayed. "I literally told you not to say anything." He muttered.

"Well she already knows everything anyway." Ned said, defending himself.

MJ asks about the plan. Peter denies that he has a plan.

Ned says Peter's gonna collect tiny spoons.

MJ likens it to a grandmother's hobby.

"Thank you for making me sound way more lame than I already am." Peter said to Ned, words dripping with sarcasm.

"Hey, don't knock tiny spoons. They're great for collecting." Scott said. Of course he left out the fact that his grandmother had, in fact, collected them.

Peter says he isn't collecting tiny spoons but Ned is.

"I'm not collecting tiny spoons." Ned said.

"Okay. No one's collecting tiny spoons. Glad we settled that." MJ said.

MJ says that was a roller coaster and advises them to download a VPN on their phones so the government can't track them when they're abroad.

"You seem a little paranoid, now" Maria commented. "It's going around."

"What I have is a healthy amount of distrust for the US government. That's not being paranoid, that's being safe." MJ corrected.

MJ leaves just as the bell rings. Ned tells Peter that he thinks that went great.

"You and I have very different definitions of that word." Peter grumbled.

Peter, in his Iron Spider suit, is at a Homeless Support fundraiser with May. May says the family that was living in her apartment while she was blipped was confused when she blipped back.

"I blipped?" May asked. "And someone else moved into our apartment?" Where were she and Peter living now? What about all of their belongings? Were they gone?

Throughout watching, everyone slowly began realizing that there was a lot more to what Thanos did when he. snapped his fingers.. and then when Bruce snapped his. Half of all life disappeared and then reappeared five years later, yes. But in those five years the world continued. It wasn't ready to lose half of it's people and five years later, it wasn't prepared to gain them back. They hadn't thought about the economy, the ecosystems, or even little things like school and work and housing. There were consequences of erasing the population as well as consequences for bringing them back. They realized that it would take a very long time before the world returned to normal once again. Or as normal as it could be after everything.

She says the wife thought she was a mistress and the grandmother thought she was a ghost.

"I can only imagine how that went down." Sam said.

May thanks everyone for coming out in support of those who've been displaced by the blip and then thanks Spider-Man. May let's Peter take the mic. He thanks May for having him and thanks the audience for having him.

"Not a very good public speaker are you?" Tony asked.

"God no." Peter said, shaking his head. "I hate it."

May takes the mic back and says Spider-Man will be out back to take photos and videos.

"I'm glad we're doing things together." May said to Peter. She was happy she got to be a part of Peter's life as well as Spider-Man's life.

Peter and May go backstage, Peter demasks. They high five and talk about how well it went. Peter says he was so nervous.

"We could tell." Ned whispered.

"Thanks." Peter replied.

"No we couldn't. It wasn't that bad." May said.

May says she was a little stiff and felt like she wasn't in the pocket.

Peter says she did great.

May says she did think Peter was a little stiff.

Peter says he felt that too.

"Just a little." May said.

"Yeah well..." Peter sighed.

May asks if he got his passport and his mini toothpaste. A noise comes from behind them, Peter re-masks.

Happy walks in with a large check and apologizes for being late and tells May that she looks lovely. May thanks him and says he does too.

"Um." Peter said, pursing his lips and narrowing his eyebrows in confusion.

Tony glanced at Happy, a knowing look in his eyes.

Happy asks if she's wearing a new dress.

May says it is and comments on his new beard.

Happy says it's his blip beard because he grew it in the blip.

"Your blip beard?" Rhodey asked.

"There's something going on between the two of them." Pepper said. "I just know it."

Happy says the reason he was late was because the check was misplaced and asks if they can believe it because it's enormous.

"How do you lose something that size?" Scott wondered.

Happy says he doesn't mean the amount but the size before saying that the amount is too and says Pepper's sorry she couldn't be there.

Tony started wondering how Pepper and Morgan were coping after everything. He hoped that they were okay. Not that he didn't think they wouldn't be, but - for future them- the last several months must have been hard, and stress inducing.

May says she's going to change the Sterno under the vegan lasagna and tells Peter to shake hands.

Peter tells her that he will before turning to Happy and asks him what just happened.

"Can't you tell? Happy here likes your aunt." Shuri said, saying 'likes your aunt' extra slow for emphasis.

"What? No." Peter denied. "Really?"

Happy warns Peter that Nick Fury is calling him.

Peter choked. "Nick Fury is what?" He asked.

Peter wonders why Fury's gonna call him. Happy says Fury probably has hero stuff for him to do. He says Peter is a superhero and Fury calls superheroes.

"Leave my kid out of whatever you're thinking of dragging him into." May said to Fury. Lord knows, Peter has been through enough of that already. He was a teenager he should be worried about his grades and girls and friends, things of that nature, not saving the world. She does support Peter's Spider-Maning don't get her wrong, but she didn't want her nephew risking his life all the time., especially not after he left the planet and fought Thanos.

Peter says if it were that important Fury would call someone else. Peter's phone buzzes.

"You've got to be kidding." Steve sighed.

Peter takes his phone out of the bag. Happy points out that it has no caller ID so it must be Fury.

Peter says he doesn't want to talk to Nick Fury.

"Good luck with that." Clint said.

"Even if you don't answer the phone, he'll still track you down." Coulson said.

Happy tells him to answer the phone because Fury will call him if he doesn't and says he doesn't want to talk to him because.

Peter asks why he doesn't want to talk to Fury.

Happy says he's scared.

"Really? He's not that intimidating." Carol said.

"Yeah. He's just kinda there. All the time. In your business." Coulson said.

Peter sends it to voicemail.

Fury barked out a laugh. This kid had balls, he'd give him that.

"Like mentor like Protégé. I suppose." Pepper sighed.

Happy asks if Peter sent Fury to voice mail and tell him not to do that.

"I just did, so how's that?" Peter asked. He didn't want to talk to Fury so he didn't. Plain and simple.

Peter pretends that people are calling him and says he has to go, he promises he'll call Fury.

Happy tells him not to ghost Nick Fury.

"Seems like he already did." Maria said.

Peter promises he'll call Fury- and when Happy can no longer hear him-he adds the words- 'after his trip'.

"Don't let him ruin your vacation." Sam said. If he were in Peter's place he'd do the same thing. After everything that they all went through, the kid deserved to have his vacation uninterrupted.

Still backstage, Happy answers his phone. He tells Fury that Peter's not ghosting him.

Happy froze. He just lied to Nick Fury... and Nick Fury was in the same room as him.

"He better not be." Fury said.

"Leave the kid alone, Nick." Maria sighed. "There are plenty of others that you can drag into this."

Peter is being crowded by reporters. One asks if he's the head Avenger.

"Where did they get that idea?" Peter wondered.

"Wouldn't it be Sam? If he's gonna be Captain America?" Rhodey asked.

Peter says he isn't. Another asks what he's gonna do if the aliens return.

"I guess it makes sense that that's what everyone's main worry is right now." Clint said. "But sometimes people should be a little more sensitive about these types of things."

Peter wonders if anyone has any neighborhood questions. Another reporter asks what it's like to take over for Tony Stark.

"Whoa! When did- where did people get that idea?" Peter asked, now feeling a little panicked. People wanted him to take over where Tony left off? Why was that what was expected?

Peter starts panicking and makes a quick exit after thanking everyone for coming.

Peter swings up to the roof to be alone. His phone rings again and he declines the call.

"Boss, leave the kid alone." Coulson advised.

He glances at a large Iron Man mural on a nearby building.

May looked over at Peter, concern shining in her eyes. Obviously Peter was not okay, after losing his mentor and after being blipped. And she didn't know how to help him because they were in that boat together. The best she could do was help him grieve and offer him a break from it all.

The next day, Peter packs for his trip and ignores another call from Fury.

'He really is testing my patience.' Fury thought to himself.

Peter throws something in his suitcase then looks in his closet at his suit. May walks by the door and throws a banana at him, which hits him in the face.

"What was that for?" Peter asked.

"Does she not regularly throw bananas at you?" Ned asked.

May apologizes and says she thought he could sense that with his Peter Tingle.

"Peter tingle? No. It's not- we're not calling it that." Peter said. But May was right, he should've been able to sense that so why hadn't he?

"Well what do you call it?" May asked.

"I don't really call it anything. I guess it's like a 6th sense." He says.

"Spidey-sense." Ned teased.

Peter tells her not to start calling it his Peter-Tingle.

May makes a comment about him being able to dodge bullets but not bananas.

Peter says he needs his vacation and a break.

Tony found this Peter to be a very stark contrast to the the fifteen year old kid who was so eager to help that he wasn't always capable of foresight. This Peter just seems tired and stressed. A vacation would definitely do him some good.

'The stress must just be getting to me then.' Peter thought that was a suitable for why he hadn't sensed the banana.

"Listen to him Fury. Kid said he needed a break, let him have it." Natasha said.

May hugs him and says he deserves it. Just before May leaves, she tells Peter to take his suit just in case because she has a tingle about it.

"One of the who purposes of this vacation is to not be Spider-Man, May." Peter said.

"You don't have to be Spider-Man on vacation." May agreed. "I'm just saying- it's a safety precaution."

Peter tells May to stop saying tingle before closing his closet door. He looks at the Iron Spider suit in the corner before telling himself 'no' and he shuts his suitcase.

"Good. You deserve a break." Steve said.

Peter is sat next to Ned on the plane, as people try to find their seats. Mr. Harrington asks Mr. Dell if he wants the first or second shift.

Mr. Dell tells him to give him the 3rd shift because he took an Ambien.

"Some chaperone." May muttered.

Mr. Harrington says he can't chaperone the kids alone. Flash is standing with a class of champagne in his hand.

"Case in point. You haven't left the airport yet and a kid has alcohol." Sam sighed.

"How did he even get it?" Peter wondered. "It's not as if Flash looks old enough to not get ID'd."

Flash tells Peter that they're on an airplane and tells him it's like the busses he's used to except it flies over poor neighborhoods instead of driving through them.

"So condescending." Peggy commented.

Peter just rolled his eyes, he was used to this type of behavior from flash by now. It gets tiring fast. You'd think that he'd move on from snarky comments and making fun of his economic status, but no. Not to mention the, oh so original, nickname of: Penis Parker.

MJ get's the flight attendants attention and points out that Flash blipped so he's 16 and not 21.

"That must be how he got it then. He never got his ID renewed." Tony realized.

"Sneaky." Natasha said.

The flight attendant takes the glass. Flash says MJ is lying and says he doesn't even know her. Brad grins at Peter and says that was 'classic MJ.'

"Yeah... classic MJ." Peter sighed.

Peter asks Ned if he knew Brad was coming.

Ned says it's weird that one day Brad was the little kid who cried got nosebleeds all the time and suddenly they blip back and he's totally ripped, super nice, and all the girls are after him. Brad helps MJ with her carry on bag.

"You sound a little bitter." Peter said.

"I'm not bitter. You can't deny that it's just a little strange." Ned argued.

"I guess you're right." Peter agreed.

"Maybe it's just because it was so sudden. People change a lot in five years. We just didn't have five years to see those changes." MJ added.

Peter says that not all the girls are after him.

Ned says that they're all after him.

"Ned." Peter sighed. That was not what he needed or wanted to hear.

"I'm not after Brad, Peter." MJ said, or at least she hoped her future self wasn't after Brad. That would be weird, especially since she knows him as a scrawny, whiny 12 year old.

Ned tells Peter that it's a 9 hour flight so they can play beast slayers the whole time. Peter tells Ned that he needs his help to sit next to MJ.

"Putting the plan in motion." May said, smiling gleefully. She was excited, sue her. Actually don't sue her, because she can't afford that.

Ned reminds him of their plan to be American bachelors in Europe.

"That was your plan." Sam reminded Ned. "Parker's plan was to get the girl."

"What's so good about being a bachelor, anyway?" Peter asked his friend. "I don't know why your so adamant about this."

Peter says that was his solo plan and asks again.

Ned walks up to Betty and MJ and tells them there's an old lady in front of them wearing a lot of perfume and it's setting off Peter's allergies and asks Betty if she could switch.

"Why couldn't you have just walked up to them, and asked Betty if you could switch seats?" Ned asked. "She probably would've said yes... if you had a good enough reason that is. Plus, you're a better liar than I am."

Betty doesn't really believe him. Ned says perfume makes Peter's eyes water. Mr. Harrington injects himself into the conversation.

"Oh no." Peter sighed. This was not going how he thought it would. Maybe he should have just gone up to them himself.

Mr. Harrington stands up and says perfume allergies are no joke and says he can feel the hives already.

"It depends on the severity, I'd say." Peggy said.

Mr. Harrington tells MJ to stand up, tells Ned to take MJ's spot so MJ can take his spot, and tells Peter to come with him. He tells Zach and Sebastian to take Ned and Peter's seats. Eventually everyone get's resituated.

"So... Brad is now next to MJ and you're stuck sitting next to the teacher." Clint said.

"Looks like the plan isn't working out so well." Ned said. "I'm sorry, bro."

Mr. Harrington thanks Ned for bringing this to his attention because their safety is his responsibility and Mr. Dell's. Mr. Dell is passed out in his seat.

"Not being very responsible right now." Sam said.

Peter takes his seat between Mr. Harrington and some other passenger. Mr. Harrington says he took the aisle because he has a small bladder.

"I bet this isn't how you wanted that plane ride to go." Rhodey said.

Ned asks Betty if she like to play Beast Slayer or if she's played PC games. She says no.

"This'll be fun." Ned sighed.

"So fun." Peter half-heartedly agreed.

Mr. Harrington tells Peter that his wife pretended to blip.

"Why would someone pretend to blip?" Ned asked.

"I mean... I guess if you really wanted to get away from someone..." Bruce trailed off.

He says she ran off with a guy in her hiking group and they even had a fake funeral for her.

"That is so sad." Wanda said.

He corrects himself, saying that the funeral was real because he thought she was dead and asks Peter if he wants to see the video.

"Why would I want to see the video of his wife's fake funeral?" Peter asked.

"This guy could really use some friends... and some therapy." Carol said.

Brad tells MJ that he has a dual headphone adaptor and asks if she wants to watch a movie. MJ says she will only if it's depressing or hilarious.

"He stole my plan." Peter said, sadly. He was mentally kicking himself for not saying something when he had the chance. Ned tried, he really did, but it didn't really work out, did it?

"You'll have other chances. You still have like 4 steps on this plan of yours." Hope said.

Mr. Harrington notices that Peter has a dual headphone adaptor and says they can watch the video together.

"Great." Peter groaned. Just what he wanted. To watch a video of his teacher's wife's funeral on a nine hour flight while Brad got to watch movies with MJ.

Later on the flight, Brad and MJ are still watching movies.

Peter searches through some documentaries before giving up on watching anything.

Betty reads her book while Ned plays his game, he grabs her hand when the turbulence starts. They look at each other.

"Something tells me you're not going to be a bachelor in Europe." Peter teased Ned, who just rolled his eyes.

Peter exits the bathroom, MJ is on the other side of the door. Peter goes back inside and cleans up better, he checks himself in the mirror and pops a mint in his mouth.

May giggled a bit. Just because she was rooting for them did not mean she wasn't allowed to find the absolute awkwardness of it all funny.

When he opens the door again, Brad is on the other side with a grin on his face.

'He seems so pleasant, it's hard not to like him.' Peter thought, a tiny bit bitter.

Peter tries to sleep, Mr. Harrington's head lolls onto his shoulder.

Peter just sighed. He had the absolute worst luck.

At the airport in Venice, Peter asks Ned if he saw Brad and MJ on the plane and says they were watching movies and laughing the entire time.

"You're jealous." Sam said.

"No I'm not." Peter denied.

"You kinda are." Scott piped up.

Ned tries to reassure him. Betty joins Ned, calls him babe and asks if he can hold something for her.

"That was fast." May commented.

"You know how teenagers are." Pepper said.

Betty kisses Ned's cheek and Ned's boops her nose. Peter asks what that was.

"For someone so intent on finding love you sure do seem lousy in recognizing it in other people." Carol giggled.

"Right. They're being obvious about it too." Rhodey agreed.

Ned says they got to talking on the plane and it turns out they have a lot in common so they're boyfriend and girlfriend now.

"Wow." Peter said.

Sam leaned behind Steve so he can talk to Bucky. "I bet 5 dollars they don't make it to the end of the trip." He says.

Bucky contemplated it for a minute before saying "You're on. If they make it back to the states, I win." Bucky secretly hoped he won because he didn't have five dollars.

Peter asks him what happened to being an American bachelor in Europe.

"I guess I changed my mind." Ned said.

"Uh-huh." Peter said, suspiciously.

Ned tells Peter that those were the words of a boy and that boy met a strong and powerful woman and that boy is a man now.

"It hasn't even been a day." Wanda pointed out.

"It's young love. It doesn't have to make sense." Clint said.

Peter gets his suitcase searched as they go through customs. The lady opens it, the Spider-Man suit is on top with a banana and a note that says 'You almost forgot this-May.'

Peter inhaled sharply, every muscle in his body tensed in panic. He hoped that maybe the lady wouldn't recognize what that is since they're from another country.

The woman takes out the banana and says he can't have it.

"May." Peter sighed, the panic rushing out of his muscles. "If you're gonna do that, please at least make sure it's at the bottom."

"I will remember that for next time." May said.

"She probably just thought it was a costume... or weird pajamas." Sam said. "Honestly I wouldn't be too worked up over airport security seeing anything because they've probably seen stranger."

The group is on a boat ride to their hotel, some students are taking pictures. Peter and Mj subtly glance at each other. The boat eventually stops in front of a dingy looking hotel.

"That's where we're staying?" Ned asked.

"Maybe it's better inside." Peter said.

They walk inside, the floor is flooded and Mr. Harington steps in a puddle.

Flash says the place is sinking.

Mr. Harrington says he thinks Flash means 'charming.'

"No he means sinking." Tony said.

"More accurately: flooding." Happy said.

Mr. Dell tells everyone to drop their bags off and they'll meet at the Da Vinci museum at 3. He says when in Rome they do as Romans do and when they're in Venice sometimes their socks get wet.

"I don't think that applies to all of Venice, I think it's exclusive to that hotel." Ned said.

The group is in Piazza San Marco. Flash livestreams with 2 women in historical dress, someone runs by and hits him in the crotch.

"Why would someone just do that?" Scott wondered.

Betty and Ned get a portrait done of them. Mr. Harrington takes pictures, he props his camera on a ledge to take one of himself but the camera falls in the water.

"Oh no." Ned said. "I think Mr. Harrington has worse luck than you, Peter."

"Poor guy really can't catch a break." Hope said.

MJ stands with her arms out, surrounded by pigeons as Brad takes pictures.

Peter glanced at MJ. MJ turned to glance back at Peter but Peter looked away before she could catch his eye. May, watching all of this, smiled. She had faith that they'd come to their senses eventually. Peter really didn't need a whole plan to tell her how he felt but he was always more on the 'Go big or go home' side.

Peter goes to a glass shop and asks for the necklace. The shopkeeper holds the necklace up to the light. Peter takes it from him and says it's perfect.

"She'll love it." May told Peter.

'I will.' MJ thought to herself. 'I will because Peter put thought into it, and he knew exactly why she would love it.' She would love it because it came from him.

Peter leaves the shop with a bag in hand. MJ walks up to him and says something in Italian (Boh). Peter hides the necklace.

"That's not suspicious at all." MJ said, letting out a soft chuckle.

She says it's the most perfect world in the world, she says Italians created it and she just discovered it.

MJ looked intrigued. She wanted- correction- needed to know what this word was.

Peter asks what it means.

MJ says it means a million things such as 'I don't know' 'Get out of my face.' 'I don't know and get out of my face.'

"It really is the perfect word." MJ said, agreeing with her onscreen self.

She says it's the best thing Italy created except espresso. Peter realizes that MJ has been drinking espresso.

"You do seem a little more... peppy than usual." Ned commented.

A man walks up to them, trying to sell them roses. "Boh." MJ says and the man leaves. MJ says boh is her new superpower.

"And what a good one it is." Clint said. "You can get Italians to leave you alone."

MJ says it's like the anti-aloha and that she was born to say the word.

"You know what... you were." Shuri agreed. If there were a word that matched someone's personality perfectly, 'Boh' would be MJ's.

MJ asks Peter what's in his bag.

"Boh." Peter says. MJ looks impressed.

"You two are killing me. Stop playing around and just say something, please." Ned begged.

The water ripples in an unusual pattern.

"What now?" Peter asked. Can't he enjoy his vacation without having to fight something? That's all he wants. One peaceful summer.

Peter notices water being sucked into the drain. Ned and Betty's gondola rocks. The water settles briefly before something causes it to erupt from the canal.

"What the hell?" Tony asked.

Peter tensed, worried about Ned and Betty who were still in the water.

Ned and Betty's gondola reaches the sidewalk, Peter helps Betty out. The water morphs into a monster.

"That water has a face!" Peter yelled.

"Just like the cyclone in Mexico." Fury said.

"You don't think the events are... connected, do you?" Maria asked.

"It could be a coincidence." Fury allowed. "But I'm willing to bet that there's a common denominator, we just don't know what it is yet."

Ned asks Peter what that is and what he's gonna do.

Peter says he left his suit in the hotel room.

Ned asks why.

"Vacation! Ned. Try and keep up." MJ said.

"Yeah but it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. And right now, it kinda seems like he needs it." Ned said.

Peter reminds Ned that they're on vacation and tells Ned that everyone's gonna see his face and says to get their classmates out of there.

The water monster starts smashing buildings. Peter quickly gets his web shooters on.

"Something is better than nothing." May said. "But please be careful."

Peter shoots a web at the water monster. It does nothing.

"What did you think was gonna happen?" Bucky asked.

"I don't know. Not that." Peter said.

The water monster looks toward the bridge full of people. Peter quickly rushes toward it, running over pulls and vaulting himself up. The water monster punches Peter, sending him to the other side of the bridge.

"I don't understand how it's solid. It's made of water it shouldn't be solid." Peter said.

"Maybe only part of it is water." Ned suggested.

The water monster gets distracted when Quentin Beck appears out of nowhere.

"Why is he there? Where did he come from? How did he know what was going on?" Peter asked, rapid fire style.

"Maybe it's happened more than just in Mexico and he's been tracking occurrences." Steve suggested.

Peter spots a silly looking mask on the ground and puts it on.

"It's better than nothing, I guess." Peter said.

Beck fights the water monster with his 'powers'. Eventually, the water monster knocks him away. Beck continues fighting the monster as it grows stronger. Peter catches Beck's attention and offers to help, He says he's really strong and he's sticky.

"I feel like there's better ways to describe what your powers are, other than saying that you're sticky. Because, honestly, that sounds weird." Rhodey said.

Beck tells Peter to get it away from the canals. Beck flies through the bridge, Peter webs onto a roof and webs the buildings that are falling down back together.

Mr. Dell and Mr. Harrington are with a group of students. They realize that they place they're trying to go is closed.

"That's a bummer." Ned said.

Mr. Dell asks if Mr. Harrington checked the website.

Mr. Harrington says that's a good idea.

"So this whole trip was planned and he didn't check the websites?" Sam asked.

Beck and the water monster zoom past them as they fight, the water monster hits the bell tower. Peter sees the bell tower is about to fall so he rushes toward it and uses his webs to try and hold it together. The bell tower takes another hit and starts falling again.

"Oh come on." Peter sighed.

Peter shoots webs at 2 buildings adjacent to the bell tower to try and keep it stable. It takes another hit and Peter hits his head on the bell.

"Ouch." Steve hissed in sympathy. That looked like it hurt.

The tower starts falling again, Peter gets up to try and stop it but he hits his head again.

"Again? Damn." Ned winced.

The tower continues falling. Peter shoots more webs and braces himself against one of the corners. Beck uses his 'powers' to drive a spiral of green smoke through the water monster.

One of the students asks who Beck is.

Brad says he doesn't know but he's kicking that water's ass.

"Yeah he is." Sam agreed.

Beck defeats the water monster, but the bell tower falls. The students cheer for Beck.

Meanwhile Peter takes out the necklace to make sure it's still intact and it is.

"That's some pretty strong glass." Ned said.

Beck salutes Peter and takes off, green smoke trailing behind him.
