Rodney Spokes is still on the run, cunning, evasive and elusive. They need to find some way to take him down, and after what he almost did... He seems to have almost broken, Lady Ace. But, they will get their revenge, and they will end him, and they need a plan. Enjoy reading this newly posted chapter folks!

"To plan this thing through."
(June 11. Royal-Hela Outpost. Outside of Royal Woods.)
Amanda Bright is back here, and she looks scared, and she has some tears and Katherine tries to comfort her, but she too is distraught after what they found out. Amanda doesn't feel good, she grabs the bucket and she vomits again. She's alright now, Tannins helps her with her condition, but she is mentally troubled after what she had to endure.
Katherine couldn't believe what had happened, three times Rodney Spokes has struck and got the better hand and then got away with it, and she doesn't know if they can stop him.
The others see this from the other room, and then Loona closes the door, she is about to speak but then her son punches the wall. "Lincoln!"
"What?!" Lincoln then calms down, but he growls. "I just... I thought I was able to sense him, I thought I could get the better of him and then we could just... Jeez, what the fucking hell is going on?!"
"How is that idiot able to evade everything that we're trying to use to track his every movement?!" yelled Moxxie.
"Either that son of a bitch read multiple books to get smarts, or he transplanted his brain with some smart ass fucker" replied Verosika. "My guess the brain from someone at Incognito or something."
"This still doesn't make fucking sense, how the fuck is he this evasive?" said Millie. They're all confused, and trying to figure this shit out.
Athena sighs and then she speaks. "Guys, my sister is doing everything she can, but for some reason Rodney Spokes is nowhere to be seen, they don't have any vision on where he is, and my sister is starting to speculate that he got his hands on some stealth tech or something."
"Trails were picked up, but once again they went cold and we don't know where he is, or what the hell he might be up to next. Weird, that he could always go after Lady Ace, and not just go for those he wants to claim."
Luna nods, and she recalls. "After his wife divorced him, he tried to go for Verosika Mayday, and through some competition which he failed miserably, and then he tried to go for Loona, and of course Lilith, Lady G. and every other gal around town and Great Lakes City. He's so delusional and stupid and after all he did to the ladies from last time, a total sex crazed psycho."
Loona then thinks about this. "So, chances he is biding his time to go for, the ones he seeks?"
Blitz then speaks. "That cannot be fucking possible, I mean he doesn't have any way to go to hell and get Alastor's beloved, or the mistress of hell." but then something comes to mind. "Unless..."
"He's aiming for Lady Ace, to get to us" replied Lincoln, and now it all makes sense and they need to discuss about this.
(Later in the day.)
Amanda and Katherine are both enjoying some stew, and watching some TV in the medical triage, and then Katherine Mulligan speaks. "Amanda, you don't have to keep doing this. I don't wanna see you keep going through this, I know you wanna continue helping people... But, now things are turning from bad, to worse to horrible."
Amanda stays silent, and she thinks about her girlfriends words. "Kathie, I cannot just surrender the mantle of Lady Ace. Royal Woods needs their true blue hero, and the folks still respect me for who I am and what I do. I cannot let this down, but I will not let Rodney Spokes get away after what he did to me."
Katherine is deeply concerned. "But, Amanda. He has gotten smart, and he's cunning and we just... Please, think about what I am saying and just stand down... Or instead of permanent stopping, temporary."
Amanda is confused, and then Katherine speaks. "Rodney Spokes knows who you are, and he is aiming at you. Just, stop being Lady Ace, until they catch him, or once he comes out from hiding and they finish him off. We can stay someplace safe, and away from here, a place where we won't be bothered. Just you and me, Amanda. Please?"
Amanda thinks about this. "I just..." Then the door opens, and they see the others are back. "What's going on?"
"We figured it out" replied Loona.
Lincoln speaks first. "Rodney Spokes, is targeting you because he wants to break you with his vile plans, and through that he wants to control you and thus use you to take down the ones who are a threat and obstacle, us."
Luna speaks next. "He'll probably use you to either kill us, or take us down so he can control us. Through that, he'll get what he wants, and also gain control of Royal Woods, and then he'd have a pathway to hell and claim pretty much the women he is after."
Katherine is confused. "Wait, control? What do you mean? How could he gain control?"
Moxxie explains. "After we saved Lady Ace from Rodney Spokes and Jessie Hiller last month, we found the devices which can control the minds of others, but it turns out there may have been a few more, and Rodney Spokes may have those remaining others. He might be planning a final attack on Lady Ace."
"To have her under his control" replied Millie. "We believe, that is his true goal."
Hearing this, horrifies Amanda Bright and Katherine Mulligan, and Amanda's eyes are glowing, and she feels enraged, and yet her gem artifact suit is not with her. Tannins notices this, and what she theorizes is true. 'Seems like her body has adapted, and gain some of the powers from the gem.'
Amanda then calms down, and she sighs. "We need bait, and I know it has to be me."
This shocks Katherine. "Wait, what?! No!"
Blitz sighs. "Amanda is right, we had a talk and this might just be enough to help us out. It's Amanda's choice."
"No!" Katherine Mulligan stands up. "There has to be some other way to take him down, I don't want to..."
"Katherine please!" Amanda also stands up and she holds the hands of her girlfriend. "Listen to me, that man will not stop coming after me, and if I don't show up around town, then he might go after someone else, worse he might come for you and I will not have you be endangered or anyone else because he wants me. Let me help end this, and then everything will be alright again."
Katherine has tears in her eyes. "I just, I don't wanna lose you."
Amanda kisses her on the cheek. "You won't, I promise. They have a plan, and I trust them. When it is all done, then everything will be Ace-Okay, once more."
Katherine feels unsure about this, but she sees the determination in everyone, and within the eyes of Amanda Bright and she nods and hugs Amanda. "Alright, alright. Just, be safe... Please."
Amanda hugs her back and tries to comfort her, and seeing this touches everyone, and even Tannins who looks away and wipes away some tears.
They then depart from the hug, and then Amanda picks up her gem and she places it onto her chest, and she becomes Lady Ace. "So, what's the plan guys?"
