Eri held his hand as the car drove them into the airport. Inko was resting in the front passenger side as the hero drove the car. Izuku was slightly reclined in his seat as Eri kept her eyes on the road. Today was the day, their trip to I-Island begins.

They had to leave Jnr. and Mochi behind of course. Jnr. just took up too much space and they needed someone to watch over Mochi while they were gone. Eri wasn't happy about it, but settled when Izuku explained why.

The car stopped and Izuku looked outside. They were in a private section, normally reserved for top ranking heroes and important political figures. Izuku left first, his mother and sister following after him. Staff approached and took their luggage for them as another member just had them go through security.

It wasn't long before they were through and, baring an small bit hesitation on Eri's part, they made it through without issue. The plane wasn't very large, not when compared to your average commercial flight. The three of them walked in and waited for the flight to start.

Eri cuddled into his side as they waited. Anxious due to the fact that she had never flown before. Izuku had flown once before, when he was extremely young. He and Inko had been brought alongside his father to visit his workplace in the states. He remembered it being a bit bumpy during the take off and landing, but rather smooth for the rest of it.

Eventually the plane did take off. Eri held his hand tightly as the plane shook. She relaxed as the ride smoothed out and Izuku checked the seat in front of him for a t.v. screen. Quickly catching Eri's attention with a movie for her to watch as the plane flew towards I-Island.

The plane landed and Eri let go of his hand once again. Izuku looked down at her, flashing her a smile as they slowly get up. Inko walked over to them, giving them both a check up just to be safe. "Alright, before we get off the plane I want to tell you both that there's a surprise waiting for us at I-Island. I won't tell you two what it is, but I know you'll like it." Inko said as she dusted off Eri's shoulder.

Izuku raised a brow at his mother's surprise. Eri just tilted her head as she held her stuffed bunny close to her. Inko beamed them a smile and Izuku just let it go. If it's a surprise from her, it'll definitely be good.

They walked off the plane, going through a brief security check like before. Eri was slightly less afraid this time, mostly due to the fact that the checks were done by robots. The family gathered their bags as Izuku just took in the view of I-Island.

For all the gripe he has with hero society, all the comparisons he's made, He loves I-Island. It was one of three places on the planet, excluding his warehouse, actively working to improve technology. He could understand their obsession with Quirks, the normalization of such chaos would be required for success. He was trying to bring back the technology of the past, they were improving on what we collectively had.

Izuku stopped his internal ramblings as they continued onwards. The entry was filled with people, all sorts of heroes, inventors, investors, and so much else walking freely without care. He could feel Eri grip his hand tightly as they continued forward.

Then Inko stopped.

Izuku gave her a confused look before he turned to where she was facing. At the outside dining area of a nearby restaurant sat a lone man. His curly black hair and bright green eyes clear as day for Izuku. The man turned to them and his eyes widened before his mouth broke into a smile. He waved them over and Izuku turned back to his mother.

His father was here.

Inko just smiled slyly as Eri looked at him curiously. Izuku gave his little sister a comforting look before gesturing to the restaurant. She followed suite as Inko began walking over to Hisashi.

The staff greeted them, and one of them walked the family to Hisashi's table. They all sat down as Izuku's father sat silent for a brief moment. It's been two months since his last call with his dad, and he never expected to see him at I-Island.

"Hey, it's nice to talk in person after so long." Hisashi said with a smile. "Yeah, lots of things have happened." Izuku commented. "I know, I know, I've been trapped by work. How has yours been doing Izuku?" Hisashi replied while rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. Izuku took a deep breath; "Busy." he answered with a tired tone. Hisashi nodded before he turned to Eri.

Looking at the table one would think it's a full family, the little girl looking just like her mother with a bit of her father mixed in. Eri just looked at Hisashi with curious eyes as Hisashi stood up. He slowly approached before kneeling to her level and wrapping her in a hug. "Its nice to finally meet my daughter." he said as Eri leaned into the hug.

Izuku leaned over to Inko. "How much does he know?" he asked. "He has her story, he always wanted a daughter to dot on anyways." Inko replied smugly. Izuku just nodded as Hisashi returned to his seat. Eri was closer to smiling now, just a few more

Staff arrived and Menus were passed out to them. Izuku was fine with this, a bit of necessary family bonding took precedence over I-Island's expo. He had the whole rest of the week to enjoy here. He smiled as Eri started leaning towards Hisashi and asking for his help with choosing a menu item.

Hawks just sighed as he watched the small team at work. While Midoriya was away the HSPC had him act as guard for an Infiltrator Unit. Their mission here was to steal the young Inventor's current robotics data and gain access to his patents. Give the young man a shock as he returns home only to find his entire business stolen.

It's the first time he's had to guard one of these groups.

He was currently outside the warehouse, waiting for their technopathy Quirk User to hack through the kid's software. It was apparently a quick job, but he has been standing here for the last thirty minutes. He sent a quick text to the group, wondering what had been taking them so long.

Then he heard an explosion in the distance.

He looked over, pocketing his phone as he raced over to the scene. All he could see was smoke and as the echo of breaking concrete could be heard. Hawks looked down, his face slowly marked by shock as he watched an entire hardware store sink into the ground.

Then another explosion was heard.

Hawks turned to see a large cloud of smoke sly up from several districts over.

Then another explosion, and another.

He watched as several building just sunk into the ground. People screaming and panicking as emergency service were called in. Hawks flew down, his hero training kicked in. He may have been sent to guard those thieves, but he still had a persona as a hero to uphold.

Garcy frowned as he looked down at his phone. Their guard had just asked them what was taking so long, no respect. Like he could tell him exactly how long it takes to steal things from a tech genius. You had to he delicate, even with powerful technopathy Quirks all it takes is one wrong move to lose everything.

"Progress?" Garcy asked the rest of his team. "Still working on hacking, his A.I. is giving me a headache." Stanford replied as he rubbed his temples. "The doors are locked to the rest of the lab, I can't just cut my way in without triggering his security." Chopper replied as he tapped the outer wall of the warehouse.

"Come on Stanford, how hard is it to fight with some kid's homemade A.I.?" Another man, Haggard, asked. "Shut it, I need to concentrate to get this right." Stanford shot back. "Quiet all of you, whatever this kid has is high end. We'd normally be done by now but we haven't even gotten into the warehouse yet." Garcy commanded.

Any argument stopped as a loud explosion was heard in the background. "What kind of villain?" Haggard muttered as he watched the smoke rise. "A foolish one, or a brave one." Chopper commented as he prepared his Quirk for a fight.

"I said shut it, you... Ah." Stanford paused as he fell to his back and his nose began bleeding. "Stanford?" Garcy asked. "Those A.I. they kicked me out." Stanford replied. Garcy shook his head as Haggard put a hand to the warehouse wall. He was about to say something when his knees buckled an he fell to the ground.

The others jumped back, flaring Quirks and drawing weapons as they did so. It was all in vain as each buckled before falling to their knees. Garcy turned to see a group of boxy machines approach them. He couldn't get Stanford to stop them, the sheer amount of voltage running through their bodies wouldn't let them.

Garcy just watched as his body continued spasming. Another approached, it was different from the others, a rather round shell housing its body. Garcy tried to stand before he felt his body boil. The machine slammed a leg into Stanford's chest, the man trying to spew blood from his mouth only for it to fry immediately. Garcy was helpless as the machine did the same to Haggard and Chopper.

He felt fear for the first time in a long time as the machine turned to him.

The last thing he saw was the machine standing over him. A large metallic leg hovering over his face.

Hawks dusted himself off as he returned to the warehouse. No one found the villains responsible for the attacks. They were too rapid, too unexpected. He found the team's location in disarray.

The walls were scorched, a small hole busted into the side. The team's equipment was no where to be seen, neither were they themselves. Dried blood was all over the scene.

He looked around, trying to find any evidence of where they went. He pulled out his phone, ignoring the old message from Garcy as he activated the tracking app.

Nothing..

Their phones were just gone, not dead, not damaged, just gone.

Hawks looked around, taking a moment to look down at the blood. It was dry, seemingly burnt onto the surface. There were cracks in the ground and part of the warehouse had been broken. Hawks could see a pair of P.A.M.s inside the warehouse were already repairing the damage, and nothing else.

"What the hell?" he muttered as he couldn't find the team.

He would find that this wasn't the only report. Many crooks and pieces of equipment would also turn up missing.
