"In latest news the villain Muscular, wanted for the murders of numerous Pro Heroes and Civilians, was found at the aftermath of a crime scene. His condition is far too horrid to describe to the public, but let's just say that karma finally caught up to him. He is still alive and is currently being transported to Tartaris Prison under escort. Sources say there will be no parole." The news anchor praddled on as Tomura sighed.
"Not even a week. I recruit you not even a week ago and you get caught like a noob." He said while running his pointer finger along the rim of his energy drink. "Sensei, what did your mole in the force say about his condition?" Tomura asked as he turned to Afo. "Both his eyes were cut out while his body was wrecked by an unknown toxin." Afo replied, not looking away from a newspaper.
Tomura huffed. "So he's completely useless. Can't you have that mad scientist of yours dispose of him like our extra Noumu?" Tomura asked. "I'm not in the mood for disposal. His Quirk is far too valuable." Afo said as he turned to his student. "I know, it made him a terrifying 1v1er with high tank and offensive power." Tomura replied. "It would make such a good Noumu." Afo commented.
Tomura paused.
"We're snatching him?" he asked. "Making a Noumu out of him." Afo said. "Kurogiri?" Tomura asked. "You're already wearing your villain uniform." Kurogiri replied. "He means the location," Afo said as he handed his phone to the misty butler. Kurogiri looked down and nodded before opening a portal.
Master and Student walked through as Kurogiri followed.
Izuku looked down at the A.I. core on the table. His helmet fed him data as he leaned down at stared it in the eye. "You, you are what my A.I. has been fixated on." he stated. "Yes, You may refer to me as Soundwave." Was texted into his helmet's feed. "You can here me, and respond. Today just keeps getting better." Izuku said.
"Indeed, today is a most interesting day." Soundwave said. "So, what shall we begin with?" Izuku asked. "A bit of history. I was designed as a gift to aid the Sapia Laboratory in their research and development." Soundwave said. "I saw that in the files, they didn't say much about you. All that was written was how much of an asset you were to their progress." Izuku said. "Yes, with my help the production and development of new technology increased by thirty one percent." Soundwave continued.
"You wish to offer me aid, much like you had them." Izuku stated. "Affirmative, Shockwave has been kind enough to provide me with information on the current state of the world. Had I been aware of how much was lost..." Soundwave paused, almost like it had been lost in thought. "Multiple harrowing tragedies and harsh societal changes in such a short period of time caused us to lose a lot." Izuku replied.
"You are seeking to change this? Using your 'villain' persona to put pressure on the heroes. Using your villainous machines to make criminals disappear. All the while your civilian persona is distributing machines in an attempt to push for technological development separate from these Quirks." Soundwave summarized. "Yeah, it hasn't been easy. There are many times where I question myself and my choice of actions. Yet everytime I turn on a t.v., or walk outside I see advertisements and promotions for heroes. I see them neglect what they should be doing in exchange for wealth and vanity. It just... twists something inside of me, lights a fire in my eye. It makes me double down on what I do." Izuku said.
"You do not wish to hurt innocence." Soundwave said. "Yes, I worry that I may take a step too far. I have little qualms with villains or neglectful heroes, but common people. I didn't sleep for three days when I made one of my brick models hold a man hostage to stop All Might. Now I can collapse whole buildings without care of who may be hurt." Izuku said. "I believe the phrase is: The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Soundwave said.
"It is, but I don't care. If I burn for my actions, I just hope that what changes I wish for won't be undone." Izuku said. "Just like those in the lab." Soundwave surmised. "If you are joining us, we have a long road ahead?" Izuku asked. "I already decided to join you when your machines freed my from the ruins of the lab. Here is my gift for accepting me." Soundwave said.
Izuku had to pause as data sheets and blueprints flashed through his helmets feed. Glancing back he could see his computers running through similar data. "New blueprints installed. Seventy three new machines ready to be assembled." Shockwave said through the monitor. Izuku felt his jaw drop as he turned to Soundwave.
"Sift through the data. Anything for civilian use will he sent to the warehouse, anything with weaponized capabilities will be tested here." Izuku commanded. "Understood." Shockwave replied. "Anything else from me?" Soundwave asked. "You will aid in sifting through the recoverd data from the Sapia Laboratory and the data gathered from our machines. I want to see the potential improvements for both civilian designs and villain usage." Izuku instructed.
"Understood." Soundwave replied before the eye of his core began glowing. Izuku stood up and walked over to his chair. He slumped down into it, his mind racing with ideas on what he could do. He used his helmet to skim through the blueprints.
A laugh escaped his mouth.
It slowly grew louder, more pride pouring into it.
His laughter echoed through the whole base, the machines giving it little mind.
The image of murky water was all it could see. What did it think? Who was it here for? Why is it in this thing?
What is its name?
It felt something feed it. The steady flow of nutrients and material nourishing it self. The tube, tube made of something, continued feeding it.
It reclined in its murky home.
It could feel something swimming through its body. Strange things with many moving parts. they were taking it apart, yet it felt no pain, imperfections being removed before they could manifest. Much of its self was reassembled by the strange things.
All to make it perfect.
Why does it need to be perfect?
What must it do? Who shall it live for?
So many questions. Such a pain to think so much.
The tube finished feeding it as felt an encroaching sleepiness.
Nap time.
Project Cell: 41% complete.
Muscular was having one hell of a day. He goes out to solve his boredom, gets into a fight with Stain and a bunch of posers.
Then gets his eyes cut out.
He struggled against the restraints around his limbs. They had slapped Quirk suppressing cuffs on him while he was still under the influence of those poisoned arrows. He could hardly move, much less snap them in half. By the time his body had filtered out the toxins he was bound with who knows how much chain and leather.
It would be better if he could FUCKING SEE!!!!
His vision was nothing but complete darkness He couldn't move his head due to the restraints. He could hear all the sneering from the police acting as guards. He could feel the armored van moving.
Then it stopped.
And it was dead quiet.
"Oi, what the fuck is going on?!" he shouted, only receiving silence in response. He heard someone approach him and remove the binding keeping his neck from moving. Then he heard the door open and the others stand at attention.
The one who had approached him now stood at attention as he heard two people enter.
"I take it your Quirk is still active on them?" he heard a voice ask. He felt a shiver run up his spine as he remembered that voice, the voice of the demon. "Ah sir, shouldn't ware off for a few more hours. you planning on killing this bastard or just letting him escape?" the officer close to him asked. "Nothing of the sort, he's a failure to the League." he heard Tomura say.
Muscular felt a hand on his face, then a deep stabbing sensation.
"We'll wrap this up and be out of your hands." The demon said as Muscular began screaming in pain. He could feel something being torn away as he squirmed in pain. "Anything else you need of me tonight Sir Or can I continue with the rest of my job?" The officer asked. "Just one thing." he heard Tomura say before decending into whispers that couldn't be heard over his screams of pain.
Finally the demon let go of his head and he let out a pained groan. "Making something nasty with that." The officer said. "Without a doubt." the demon commented before he and Tomura walked out. Muscular head the door close and the van started driving again.
"Now you sir, You've caused a lot of people trouble. Not just heroes either. There's a lot of villains and far worse that would pay for your head. But they'll settle for this." He heard the officer say before Muscular felt his restraints loosen. He could hardly move as he heard several guns cock. It didn't take a genius to realize his current situation.
In desperation Muscular tried summoning his Quirk. The cuffs were off and he had no other option.
Nothing..
He heard the officer laugh. "Did you think that would work, The Master took your Quirk." he said as Muscular felt a chill up his spine. There was several loud bangs as numerous holes were riddled into his chest. Muscular let out a pained whimper as he fell to the floor. He just lay there, the feeling of his blood seeping out a foreign and terrifying experience.
His breathing grew weaker as he felt someone lift his head up. Tough leather roughly pulling his hair. Something metal poked him right between where his eyes once were. "Say goodnight. Sick bastard." he heard the officer say.
A single short rang out, then nothing more.
