Izuku sped down the tunnel with little care. His helmet idly tucked under his arm as he had the mech surge forth. Cell clung to the side of the mech, a look of curiosity on his face. Behind him a small squadron of Brick Units alongside a Head Unit and two Echo Units kept close.
The Lights of the tunnels flashed by him as he had the mech speed up. His sensors were feeding him more data which he simply ignored. The slight vibrations of the mech were given little attention before he began to slow down. The scanners reading the entry way to Afo's own lair.
300 meters.
100 meters.
10 meters.
5 meters.
He has the mech go to a full stop just as they pasted the entry way. A small group of Noumus stood as a greeting, their blank stares simply curving to look behind them. Several people also stood in the room, some dressed in lab coats while others wore security armor. One of the people in lab coats stepped forward and opened their mouth; "What business are you here for?" they requested calmly. "I am here for a meeting with All For One. He had requested it earlier and I do not wish to waste his time." The automated voice of his mech answered as he typed it out.
The people looked at one another before one of the security staff pulled out a radio. There was a series of chatter exchanged before he pocketed it. "Boss gave you the clear, just have the other machines stay. He only wants to talk to you and your bodyguard there." The security man said while gesturing to Cell. "Acceptable." The automated voice echoed out before Izuku typed out a command.
The squadron stood at ease as the Noumus cleared a path for him. The mech gliding through the opening as Cell looked on with wonder. "We are not here to eat Cell. We are here to be cordial. If Afo offers you a Noumu then you can eat it." Izuku commanded using a small opening in the mech's cover. Cell just stared at him before blankly nodding.
The lights of the facility shifted to act as his guide. The brightened pathway leading him to a large room lined with tanks filled with green liquid. In the centre of the room stood a table with Afo and a short man with a mustache nearby. Several monitors were also set up along the table, each displaying a blank screen.
Izuku had the mech stop and looked at his helmet. He slipped the piece on and heard a satisfying click as the helmet connected with the rest of the suit. Cell jumped off as the mech opened its cockpit and Izuku stepped out.
"Ah, Inventor. A pleasure that you agreed to this meeting." Afo greeted. "A pleasure indeed. May I now the nature of this meeting?" Izuku asked with the voice filter in full effect. "Please take a seat and I will explain the nature of this meeting. Rest assured that questions will be answered." Afo said while gesturing to one of the available seats on Izuku's side.
Izuku ran an armored hand along one before pulling it out and sitting in it. Cell remained standing, keeping an eye on Afo the entire time. He sat with firm shoulders as he looked at Afo. Their helmets acting as stanche reflections of themselves.
"Now then. Let me begin with a long story. When I was young my brother was very sickly and our parents abandoned him due to a lack of funds. I took it upon myself to care for him. I joined the military, I trained with them, I used my payments to help my brother live an actual life instead of being bed ridden and half dead.
Then war broke out. Unresolved tensions between the world all suddenly bursting outwards. Europe and mainland Asia were fragmented and squabbling amongst themselves. North America tore itself apart as South America was bathed in flames. Japan avoided the worst of it, but it still took part in the fighting.
During the war, I lost count of how many I killed, and how many died around me. When all was done there was no big celebration, no cheers, no medal telling us that what we did was worth it. I was almost a walking corpse by the time I was reunited with my younger brother. After it we had a few years of peace, years that were gone far too soon.
China reported a baby glowing like a Star. Soon reported were flooding in all across the globe. Science, or what was left of it, couldn't explain the origins of these powers. The remnants of any government body struggled to find a solution to these rising issues. Soon mercenaries and warlords rose up, seeing these powers as a means to tear down the old and bring about change.
The chaos started all over again.
The military never found me or my brother. I could feel my own power inside me, demanding that I take it all for myself. The next few years were spent living by the skin of our teeth. My experience as a soldier kept us both alive as we fought off militias, cultists, military corps, and the law itself.
Eventually I gained a following. A recognizable soldier who bled with his fellow man during the Third World War. They rallied behind me, and my brother and I desired to bring about change. Yet we disagreed with such methods.
I wished to overthrow what had taken root and restore a morsel of what had been. He wished to help shape what was still growing. Eventually our disagreement grew and our followings became divided like ourselves. I gave my brother a gift, hoping it would allow us to reconcile, yet our disagreement only grew from it.
We began to clash, attempts made by both sides to gain control. He and his followers saw me as a monster due to what I could do, what I could take. My own brother, the one thing I spent my entire life protecting, wanted nothing more than to kill me. My own followers rallied behind me and own conflict began to spread to the rest of the world.
His side became the League of Vigilance, mine was know as the Order. Soon his followers would go on to found many of the current hero organizations around the world. My own group would go on to infiltrate the government body and attempt a coup. The League of Vigilance would soon become known as the first Pro Heroes, the vigilantes of old. My Order would steadily be forced to go underground and bide our time.
We watched as the organizations created by our others were corrupted and desecrated by the greed of others. Their once noble goals being forgotten in the quest for personal power. My Order would soon be labeled as a villain group, and my gift to my brother became a haunting nightmare.
The gift merged with what he had, and it steadily grew more powerful. He passed it on from master to student, an unspoken quest passed on as well. The desire to end my life only grew stronger with each generation of the power's growth. Soon I fear that the power will be too great for the world to withstand.
Now my Order still exists, still works to achieve our original goal. Restore what had been lost too in the turmoil. Bring back the technological wonders, restore relations in the world, let this foolish cycle of Heroes and Villains end.
Young Man, the reason I asked for this meeting, told you this story, is that I wish for you to join us. Join my inner circle and work towards such that goal." Afo concluded while holding his hand out. His stance acting as though his voice hadn't faltered many times during the story.
Izuku stayed silent, too stunned to respond. "I know it's a lot to think about, I will give you time to consider it. In the mean time my doctor here would like to examine Cell if that's all right?' Afo said with a calm voice. Izuku idly nodded before he gestured to Cell. Cell wordlessly followed his command and approached the doctor.
If was now just Izuku and Afo, staring down one another. Izuku's mind raced to come to the quickest conclusion. "This, is a lot too take in All For One. I don't doubt your story, but some of it is rather insane. I can believe a Quirk that can take the Quirks of others, but a Quirk that can be passed from person to person that grows stronger. It's a lot to think about?" Izuku said.
"Its understandable, the only members of the Order who are still alive today are here in person. The idea of someone being over two hundred year old is rather insane as well." Afo said. "May I stand?" Izuku asked too which Afo nodded. He stood up and began to walk around the Table before he stood before Afo. Izuku held onto his helmet and stared at him.
"I am making my choice, I wish to join you, but I do not wish for their to be mysteries between us." Izuku said before he removed his helmet. Afo make a quiet sound of shock as Izuku looked at him with his own eyes. "I'll join your Inner Circle All For One." he said while holding his hand out. Afo smiled before taking it with his own. A Handshake that felt like it held a hurricane was made before Izuku stood tall.
Afo made no comment on his identity, simply smirked. Izuku kept the helmet on his side as he stepped back. "Will anything change about our deal?" he asked. "No, those are still in effect. You will simply be given a schedule and be a part of our meetings. Resources will also be shared between members from time to time." Afo answered.
Izuku nodded before going over to Cell. "One last thing. The League is making big plans soon, you may want to seal off the tunnel soon. I don't know if they will find this facility, but I would rather not risk it." Afo said. Izuku nodded before putting his helmet back on.
He found Cell standing at attention while the Doctor took various measurements. "All right Cell, we're going." he said as Cell turned to him. The doctor attempted to spiut something only for Cell to turn and follow him. "I answered your questions while they talked." Cell said to the doctor as he followed him.
"Let them go doctor, you'll get your answers soon." Afo said as the doctor simply nodded. Izuku walked up to his mech and got inside. Cell latching onto the side as the cockpit closed. Izuku took one last moment to look at Afo before the cockpit was fully sealed. "Message me the schedule, I'll be hard at work if you need me." Izuku said through the mech's speakers.
"Best of luck on your endeavors Young Man." Afo said. Izuku nodded as the mech began driving out. Cell just turned to him and huffed. "You spent far too long talking. That doctor tried to cut pieces off of me." he said with venom. "Don't worry, they're our allies now." Izuku responded. The squadron stood waiting as they drove out of the tunnel. The staff and Noumus gave them no mind as they drove out.
