Izuku looked out at the empty house in front of him. This morning the rest of his family left on a U.A. jet for I-Island. Now he's the only Midoriya on Japanese soil. The home was hollow, bearing no where near the amount of memories as the old apartment, yet it was still rather sad.
This home was Eri's place of happiness, her safe place. Though she spent less than a year here, it may as well have been her forever home. He had sent both Jnr and Teddy with them so that Eri would still have some of his works close to him.
He was pulled out of his musing by a loud meowing. Izuku turned, looking down as Mochi gave him an impatient look. Inko had told him not to sent Mochi away from Japan, something about a cat's territory, so the feline was staying with him. Kneeling down he gave her a scratch under the cheek, being rewarded by happy purring. "Yeah Yeah, be happy about it. I'll be rather buried in my work but I'll make something to keep watch over you." Izuku said as he picked the cat up.
Quickly he put Mochi in a large cat carrier with her favorite pillow inside. Giving the home one last look he huffed. "Last time I'll be seeing this place, maybe ever." Izuku said as he began walking away. With the cat carrier in one hand and his phone in the other he strode down the street, making way for the train station.
He had a new apartment to set up.
Nedzu stood proud, behind him was a line up of mechanized suits. Off to the side stood a collection of Support and Hero Course Students. On the other side of the room, standing parallel to the suits, were the line of first years who had their Quirks stolen. Pulling out a small microphone he cleared his throat and smiled.
"All right students, thanks to the brilliant efforts of the support course they have made each fo you a specialized suit to allow you to continue as Heroes. Now will Kirishima, Sero, Tokoyami, Kaminari, Todoroki, and Sato of class 1-A step forward?" Nedzu asked as said students stepped forward. "Your suits are to my right, please approach them and let the support course show you how to equip them. Now will Shishida, Kaibara, Kamakiri, Tsuburaba, and Awase of class 1-B step forward? your suits are too my left." he requested as said students followed suit.
"From the bottom of my heart I must thank you all for choosing to remain in the hero course despite such setbacks. I wish you all luck in your future training and your potential hero careers." Nedzu said before putting the microphone back into his suit. He could here the mechanics of the exosuit being equipped. A quick turn around let him see that each students was now wearing their respective suit, each designed to resemble their old hero costume.
After that he let the rest of the first year students swarm them, checking over them with concern and glee. It did put a smile on his face to see both classes getting along, even with Kan's competitive nature and Aizawa's blunt methods. The support course students stayed close, keeping their eyes peeled for anything that may need to be repaired or modified.
He would be lying if he said that he didn't have Delta record their cheers as each suit worked exactly as intended.
Izuku dropped the box in his hands as he heard a knock at the door. Approaching it with caution he opened it to find nothing. Looking around his eye finally revealed a small cardboard box on the ground. Slowly he pulled out his phone and activated some of the scanners he had built into it.
No hazards or danger from the box detected.
Cautiously he took the box inside and opened it. In it he found only a video tape and player. He raised a brow at such a method but put the tape in anyway. The player sputtered for a second before a message began to play. "Hey Son, if you're hearing this message then you've moved out of the house and are living on your own. In this tape I've made several recordings to help you out if you ever need help." His father's voice spoke calmly.
Curiosity drove him onward as he had the tape play on. "The world is full of villains and heroes, and I know you don't want to be a part of that. Before I left for America your mother and I set up a special bank account for you to use in case things went wrong and we wouldn't be capable of supporting you. Between the added investments and the monthly contributions you should make enough to love soundly for the rest of your life. I don't know what you'll choose to do but in the box with this message will be the means to access this account from the bank. I trust you to be responsible with it Izuku. I set this package to be delivered the moment you'd be living alone, when ever that may be." his father's voice stopped after this as Izuku stuck another hand into the box.
Inside was a slip note with small instructions and a set of codes. Using his phone he quickly accessed said funds and his jaw almost dropped. He never knew how much his father made, but it was enough to support his family over seas without putting a single dent in his own life style. The accumulated wealth combined with his current income made him a small millionaire.
He could actually start expanding his business. More warehouse that could be filled with autonomous workers. More resources that could be poured into it. Less strain on his Investers everytime he had a set back or had product stolen. Even the means to better fund his... other operations.
Izuku smiled before his phone rang. It was the familiar caller I.D. of his father, which he answered quickly. "Uh, hey son. your mother and sister landed not long after and are still accumulating to their new home. I had sent a package to you and I wanted to see if you got it?" Hisashi asked. "The bank info." Izuku replied. "Yep, you got it?" Hisashi asked. "Indeed, already got a look at it. I just want to say... Thanks dad." Izuku said. "Its nothing son, I couldn't always be there for you but I had to have some way to support you." Hisashi replied as Izuku smiled.
"Yeah, how's mom and Eri doing?" Izuku asked. "Fine, Inko was used to it but Izumi is rather nervous about the change of pace." Hisashi said. Ah, Eri's cover name/new identity, such a bizarre name. "Its to be expected, at least she's willing to adjust and try it." Izuku said. "Yeah, both of us have it cut out to teach her how to speak english before we can even think of sending her to school." Hisashi said. "Just give her time dad." Izuku said. "I know, can't a father can worry about his daughter?" Hisashi argued. "He can, he just doesn't have to gush about it to his son." Izuku replied.
He could hear his father sigh before he started talking to someone on the other end of the line. "Still, best of luck son. Stay safe." Hisashi said. "I will, bye." Izuku said as Hisashi replied with his own farewell before ending the call.
Izuku leaned back and let out a breath. He smiled warmly at the care his family gave for him. In a perfect world, he wouldn't have to be a villain while doing all this. He could just be an inventor, but he's already started and there's no point in stopping now.
Cell felt bored, ever since he had awakened and the excitement wore off everything just felt boring. The training ring that had pushed his limits was now painfully easy. The tests the Entiers put him through showed that his metamorphosis had pushed his body into a more powerful state than before.
Where he would have once fought All Might as an equal, he would have brought him to heel easily now.
Ever since he awoke all the challenge was lost.
So he filled it the best way he knew how.
Eating.
Thanks to his newly gained lips and mouth he now longer needed to eat with his tail. Add in the tastebuds that came with the mouth and he was experiencing something he had never expected before. His tail couldn't provide such a sensation, its orifice couldn't support tastebuds due to its complex nature.
Yet now as he devoured his forth meal of the hour and washed his tastebuds with all the unique flavors he knew he was in heaven. Downing what was left with a flavored pop he let the sugars and carbonation rest on his tongue for a second before swallowing.
This was heaven, one he wished to never leave.
Sadly he would leave it as he looked down only to see that he had devoured the entire meal. Left distraught over his lost joy he stood up and walked over to the main console. He ignored the echo of heavy machinery hard at work moving earth around before he sat down.
"I need more." he stated bluntly. "Get it yourself." Shockwave replied. "But I can't go outside." Cell replied. "In your previous form perhaps. But with a Seventy six percent completion rate and your prior metamorphosis you now resemble a human enough to not set off alarms or villain alerts." Shockwave said. "What about getting back to the lair, its moving around and underground?" Cell asked. "Your nano machines and infused abilities can let you track our position regardless of how far we travel. Get some funds and some clothes, dig yourself out of the ground, bug someplace else and go eat." Shockwave instructed.
"Aldight then." Cell said before walking off, intent on doing just that.
Bakugou felt hollow as he walked down the street. For the past several days he had been quiet, only laying in bed and muttering to himself. It was only thanks to his mother's efforts that she got him to go outside today.
He was still a Deku, a useless Deku.
What would all his old teachers think? What would his grandfather think? What would those extras at his old schools think if they saw him now?
His internal rambling were interrupted as someone dragged him into the nearby alley and jabbed something into his back. "Hand over your money punk, unless you want to get hurt." Someone demanded from behind him. Bakugou could strain his head to look behind him, but he felt anger rise. His voice was only a quiet whisper, prompting the mugger to yell louder. "Did you not hear what I said, now give with the money?" They demanded.
"I SAID FUCK OFF!!!" Bakugou shouted before slamming the back of his head into the muggers face. The man staggered back, his sharpened fingers receding as he clutched his face in pain. "My nose, the fucks wrong with you!?" The mugger shouted. "Fuck off, you're the bastard who tried to fucking shank me for cash!!" Bakugou shouted as he clenched his fists.
The mugger clenched his teeth and ran forward, his fingers turning into a collection of blades. With both fists ready Bakugou changed his stance and side stepped the mugger's attack. His left fist striking the man's head with full force. The mugger staggered back before Bakugou followed up with a strong right hook. He sent one of the man's teeth flying before driving a knee under his ribs.
The mugger let out a strained gasp before falling to the ground. Bakugou looked down at the man, then looked to his fists. He did that, he punched the man to the ground with little problem. He could feel a slight trickle of blood on his back from where the mugger was jabbing him earlier. His breath was strained, almost intoxicated from the rush.
He did this, without his Quirk.
He brought down a criminal with just his bare hands.
It felt so good.
Letting it were off he pulled out his phone and dialed the police. The call was quick, his location given and he was told to wait. He didn't care if this went on his record, it felt far to good.
Far better than everytime he had hit someone with his Quirk.
