Travelling along the rooftop with the loud echo of metal against metal. Tsutsumi scanned the area around her with her new helmet. The entire street below her being displayed in her helmet's feed. "Do you see anything peculiar?" Shockwave inquired through her helmet's comms. "The street is empty, there isn't a single villain or petty criminal in sight." Tsutsumi replied. "Indeed, whole groups of villains have been disappearing on mass. The two main causes have been a drastic rise in hero raids and the rise in large organized villain groups. Individuals and small gangs are being torn up and eaten by the larger and more organized groups." Shockwave explained. "Great, any potential leads?" Tsutsumi inquired.
There was a brief period of silence as she continued parkouring over the rooftops. "So far none, the local heroes have already uprooted seven different gangs. The only villain group that has been sighted is Stain and his Disciples, not a priority." Shockwave stated. "And heroes?" Tsutsumi inquired. "This is U.A. territory, The H.P.S.C. has little presence here." Shockwave replied. "Well, at least the night will be peaceful, relatively anyway." Tsutsumi said.
When she received no reply she just shook her head. Raising one of her arms she aimed for a sign across the street and let the grappling hook fire. The armor tugged and sent her flying from one side to the other. With a loud crash she landed on the roof and tucked in on herself to tumble. Her hands shot out as the suit buckled before she stood up straight.
The layout of the street continued feeding into her helmet before she noticed something. Looking down she saw a pair of thugs entering the sewers through a manhole cover. "You saw that right?" she inquired. "Affirmative." Shockwave stated. "I'm going in." She stated. "We're here with you." Shockwave said as Tsutsumi grappled down towards the alleyway. She removed the manhole cover and let the helmet's scanner feed her the layout of the sewer.
She calmly dropped down, making sure to cover the manhole as she dropped down.
"You saw that right?" Spinner asked as he dropped the binoculars. "The armored woman following those villains?" Willow stated. "Leave that be, we have other fish to fry." Shadow spoke up. Spinner just shook his head before turning back to their current hunt.
Mustard stepped out, a large rifle strapped to his back. "Can I finally test it?" he asked. "Stain said to wait, so only use it if necessary." Shadow said before he held his arm up. "They're leaving?" Mustard asked before he leveled his rifle towards a small warehouse.
"The bee is leaving the hive, I repeat, the bee is leaving the hive." Willow reported into the radio. "Understood, moving to intercept." Stain's voice echoed from the other end.
Tomura took another sip of his energy drink as he looked over the current collection of villains. He had several thousand villains who all signed up to join the League. Each had a small list with their Quirks, experiences, and achievements on them. He was honestly surprised by how willing these villains were to join up with him.
Not far from him Kurogiri and Magne were also hard at work sorting through the long list of potential villains. Dabi, Toga, and Twice were all busy training their Quirks deeper in the facility. "What's our current count?" Tomura asked. "One thousand two hundred eighty six." Kurogiri replied. "Average skill?" Tomura asked. "Mostly B and A class, the heroes have already cleared out most of the C class villains." Magne said. "Safe houses eighty three too ninety one have recently filled up, we can't use ninety two due to the increased hero presence." Kurogiri reported. "Great, see if we can fit more villains into Safe houses sixty through seventy three." Tomura replied.
A phone rang and Tomura answered it. "Yes," he said. "Master has been making moves, he needs a gift for his return." The voice of Garaki said calmly. Tomura covered part of the phone and turned to the other two. "How quickly can we set up a hero trap using the risky Safe Houses?" he asked. "Five hours, we just need to move enough villains close by while informing Master of own plan." Kurogiri said. "We can make a gift, it will be at Safe House Ninety Three." Tomura said before Garaki just hung up. "Rude." Tomura said before putting the phone down.
"Anything else?" Kurogiri asked. "Nope, bastard hung up on me." Tomura said as Kurogiri shook his head. "So, we need to move a group of villains who can be seen only when they want to be?" Tomura said. Kurogiri quickly pulled several lists and handed then too Tomura. "Thank you." Tomura said before he began shuffling through them.
Tsutsumi wandered through the sewers using both her own feed and a provided map to navigate. "I've been meaning to ask, how is your sewer map so well detailed?" She asked into her comms. "The Master had us map out the Sewers for his heists. He even had us install an entrance to his original lair in the sewers. This place is easily one of the most well hidden areas in the whole of Japan." Shockwave answered. "Good to know, Also how good is the shower at the lair?" She asked. "I made sure it can easily clean off every trace of sewer from your body." Midoriya answered through the comms, almost making her jump.
"You've been watching me?" She asked. "I've been watching your feed and keeping an eye on the suit's condition. I wanted to make sure there wasn't any problems with the suit." Midoriya answered. "I see, has there been anything strange on your scanners?" She inquired. "My data on the sewer isn't fully lining up with the new feed. It seems that the villains may be modifying the sewers to function as their own underground maze." Midoriya said.
"Should I be concerned?" She asked. "Just be careful, I still have a way into those sewers, if things get dicey I'll send in an extraction team to get you." Midoriya said. "Good to know. Think I should take some hostages?" She asked. "No, I'd rather you not be sighted at all." Midoriya answered.
She continued down the sewers before she paused. The sound of tools breaking stone caught her attention as she neared the source of the noise. Turning a corner she saw a group of villains with hammers and pickaxes chiseling away at the concrete and dirt. Two Noumus were near by, busy moving large amounts of rubble away as another Noumu brought in large wooden struts.
"Alright, Tsutsumi it may be best if you start heading back." Midoriya suggested. "Understood." Tsutsumi replied as she slunk to the side and began falling back. She began wandering the sewers, keeping her eyes trained on any shadow she could see. She stopped as the sounds of more footsteps could be heard from the other side.
"Midoriya, is the Active Camouflage ready for use?" Tsutsumi asked. "It should be, just know it can't run for longer than thirty minutes." Midoriya warned. "Thirty minutes?" She inquired. "Prolonged use tends to strain the suit's systems." Midoriya replied. Tsutsumi activated the Active Camo and waited. Three villains passed by her, not even giving her a second glance.
She quickly ran out, taking caution to not attract any attention as she fled.
Stain looked down at the dead man at his feet. "Berserker, do you have what we came for?" he asked. "Got all the files sir, letd move out." Berserker replied. "Good, saves us the trouble." Stain said as he removed his sword from the man's body.
A groan caught his attention as he turned to the source. A lone body guard was still alive, dragging his body across the floor with a trail of blood following it. "You... You won't get away with this." The man strained as Berserker planted his boot on the man's back. "We just did." Berserker replied as Stain just shook his head.
"Ha, the WHA is already here in Japan. It won't be long until they have your whole group strung up and hanged." The man threatened. "I don't think so, as long as people like you exist in the world, there will always be someone like me." Stain retorted before he raised his sword to the man's neck. The man just laughed before they heard something click. His laughing stalled into a choking gasp before he died.
Stain and Berserker ran as fast as their legs could carry them as an explosion rocked the entire building.
"Two, Three, Breach." A lone hero, Bolt Hunt, instructed. He and seven other heroes rushed into the house their sources had pointed to.
He was part of a recently established Rapid Hero Deployment Squadron. His entire job was to be on scene and ready to raid a villain hideout in less than an hour of a call.
Yet all he saw as they entered the house was darkness.
Then something stepped out.
Its stature was tall, almost too tall for someone of such a state. Their hands a disturbing amalgamation of fingers and muscles twisted into something resembling hands. Most of his body was covered by a torn dress suit
Yet its face, its face was nightmarish.
Several eyes and a slanted mouth that curved from the left ear too the lower right of its neck. Patchy white hair littered its head as red beady eyes starred them down.
"Hello Heroes." was all it said before its fingers extended with a deep red glow.
Then all Bolt Hunt saw was darkness.
