Hi, I just want to apologize for leaving this fic untouched for over a month. I was hit with a series of unfortunate events, involving a family death, my mother having to go to the hospital (after the funeral of the aforementioned deceased relative), increasing stress and burnout from work. So, Sorry, I'll try to finish this fic but new chapters won't be dropping at the same rate they had been.
Izuku looked down at his toes, calmly watching as they flexed with with his desire. A small smile etched it's way onto his face as began rolling his ankle. His other leg began bouncing as he looked over both of his legs.
The repairs had been successful.
Cautiously he let his feet touch the floor of the lair. Two P.A.M. Units rolling to assist him as his tired legs held him up for the first time in two weeks. "Heh, still takes some getting used too." Izuku muttered as the P.A.M. Units rolled alongside him. With each step he let his smile grow, a sense of relief washing over him. "Wait until Tsutsumi sees this." he muttered before a nearby screen went off.
He surpressed a sigh before he turned and looked at the display. "Status report?" he asked out loud. "T-minus one hour until the Faria Laboratory arrives. All readings stable." Shockwave reported. "Good, give Lady Nagant a warning then prepare All Units to begin construction and extraction. The sooner we get everything from the Faria Laboratory the better." Izuku instructed. "Understood." Shockwave replied before the feed went to black.
"Well, time to get dressed." Izuku muttered before he turned to the P.A.M.s still helping him. "To the main room, I need to get my suit on." he instructed. The P.A.M.s let out simple beeps before proceeding to carry him onwards.
Tomura had to resist the urge to scratch at his neck. He remained still at a large table with his newly chosen Commanders, some recognizable like Dabi and Kurogiri while others he only knew sparingly. "He could be here any minutes." he muttered under his breath, glancing around the table.
"Boss, are we going to start the meeting?" one of the others, a villain known as Marauder if he remembered correctly. "Not yet, Its possible that All For One will be here today. If that is the truth I would prefer to have him present at the meeting." Tomura explained, internally glaring at the doubtful looks some of his underlings were giving him.
"How can we be sure of that? You may be his self described Student, but wouldn't he have more important things to do than listen to us discuss budget and rations for several hours?" a female villain with her face hidden by a thick black veil asked. "No, this meeting isn't just about rations and budget. Its involves the next stages of our plans against hero society. So far we've been entrenching ourselves beneath the earth and infrastructure of Japan, but we need to move too stage two very soon if we want this too work." Tomura replied with an unusual calm..
"Besides, budgeting and rationing are extremely important things to keep track of. No army fights for free, nor does it fight on an empty stomach." A disjointed collection of voices spoke up from a spot that had been empty just a moment ago. Tomura took a moment to look over his Sensei, taking in the numerous pieces of amalgamated flesh that now made up his form. "Greetings Sensei." Tomura said curtly as All For One approached the table, watching as many of the gathered villains went stiff as Afo passed by.
All For One took the seat just left of Kurogiri as Tomura pulled out a collection of files.
"I know many of you have been hearing rumors of a secret army ready to take the fight to the government, and many of you believe that we are said group." Tomura paused as he allowed the table to absorb said information. "My intention, should this group exist, is to take them into the fold of the League. Whether we bring them in by force or by words is still up for debate." Tomura explained. Some at the table gave him skeptical looks, others just nodded their heads.
"The Second Generation Meta Liberation Army." All For One said. Many at the table turned to him, looking at him with a silent plea to elaborate. "A large scale cult of personality revolving around the ideals of cutting back on Quirk control laws. Similar to the Wings of Freedom Movement in the U.S.A. during the decades after Quirks started appearing. It was led by the famous villain Destro, who wrote a book summarizing the ideology and its practices after his arrest and incarceration." Afo said before leaning back in his chair, reaching a hand into his coat.
"Destro happened to be a good friend of mine, one dedicated to studying and understanding Quirks and how they could affect the world as they grew." Afo added in as he pulled a book out of his coat. "So the government, or the Commission if we're being specific, has basically censored an entire group from history?" A villain known as Mek asked. "Yes, I'm unsure how this Second Generation MLA may be structures. It's honestly impressive that even they managed to slip my grasp." Afo whispered the last part.
"The plan remains the same, should rumors be true then the heart of this MLA is located in Deika City, and they could potentially number somewhere between three thousand too over ten thousand strong." Tomura almost winced as the last part earned him a collection of gasps from those around the table. "I know, its seems as though we would be horribly outnumbered, but we have someone who can more than even the odds should push come to shove." Tomura said calmly. "All For One?" one of the commanders Inquired.
"No, using Sensei would he overkill. One of the villains in our ranks is capable of creating fully functional clones which will only disappear when damaged. Should the League have to fight the MLA then we can easily send wave after wave of clones without even having to send our own men. The only issue is that Twice, the villain with this Quirk, can only make up to two clones at a time." Tomura said. "Not to mention the drastic change that would result from our numbers suddenly quadrupling." Marauder spoke up.
"Correct, so the first thing we must do is locate the MLA leadership. Then see if we can negotiate a proper deal with them, should that fail then we make for plan B and conquer them before we begin preparations for stage three." Tomura said. "Any other details?" another villain inquired. "Many, this was just the basic idea. This whole meeting is going to be about distribution and maintenance for the plan." Tomura said as he straightened his back.
It was going to be several long hours as he pulled out another collection of files.
Tsutsumi stretched as she returned her suit to the provided locker. She had just finished the arduous task of cleaning the sewer smell from her body and was looking forward to relaxing for the evening. The room that Midoriya had provided for her wasn't the lap of luxury, but it was better than most apartments. As she was about to lie down the screen on the wall lit up.
"Miss Nagant, there is something that requires your attention. Midoriya wishes to see you in the Aquatics Bay. Ensure you are dressed properly." Shockwave instructed before the screen turned dark. Tsutsumi huffed before getting off her bed and slipping on her casual clothing. She then grabbed pieces of her suit and put them on, letting the pieces click into place.
Calmly she strode to the Aquatic bay, taking notes of the many machines that were also gathering around the entrances to the bay.
As she approached she saw Midoriya standing in the armor with his helmet off, a jovial smile on his face. "Hello Tsutsumi, I apologize for the sudden call, but I want you to be here to see this." Midoriya said as the doors to the bay closed. "See what?" Tsutsumi inquired. "The arrival of the Faria Laboratory of course. Just be careful it may take a bit to fully pump out all the water." Midoriya said as the facility began to shake. Tsutsumi grabbed a hold of the nearest wall as Midoriya stood calmly amidst the chaos.
He calmly checked something on his wrist as the sound of flowing pumps hit her ears. "Approximately five minutes to full drainage." Soundwave said. "Understood, Miss Tsutsumi if you would put on your helmet?" Midoriya requested as he put on his own. Tsutsumi followed suite, letting the armor hiss as it became airtight. "Four Minutes to full drainage." Soundwave continued.
"Is there anything dangerous in the lab?" Tsutsumi inquired. "No, the lab became fully air tight upon being damaged. All you'll find is old machinery and the unfortunate souls trapped the in lab on that day." Midoriya replied. "Unfortunate souls?" Tsutsumi inquired. "They all suffocated." Was all Midoriya said as Tsutsumi nodded in understanding.
"How Horrible." Tsutsumi commented as the machines around them began to move. The doors slowly opened, water steadily trickling in. "One Minute to full drainage." Soundwave said as the doors fully opened.
Tsutsumi had to hold in a gasp as she looked at the bay. What had once been connected to the ocean was now completely dried out. The aforementioned bay was now replaced with a structure of metal with a violent tear at the top. Before either of them could step forward the numerous machines rushed past them and began working.
She gave Midoriya a look which he returned. "The sooner this Laboratory is fused to the rest of the lair, the sooner we can begin retrofitting it." Midoriya explained as he began walking forward. "You're just going in, with all this work happening around you?" She asked. "Of course, I want to see inside the Laboratory with my own eyes before its stripped and rearranged. So are you coming or not?" Midoriya asked. Tsutsumi just shook her head and followed.
