I'M ON A ROLE!

Eventually I will get to a temporary stopping point so I can get back to my other stories, but that won't be for a while.

Please Enjoy!

She didn't know when she had fallen asleep, though it was pretty obvious that she did so after crying herself to the point of exhaustion, but she didn't know when she had fallen asleep as the next moment that she opened her eyes she was laying down in one of the beds in the nurses office.

As if to answer her unspoken question, the voice of Recovery girl was sounded as she turned to her general direction as she said as she came to her bedside on the right:

"It's good to see you are awake dearie, Before you say it, don't, it's perfectly understandable why you would fall unconscious after suffering extreme tearful mental and emotional exhaustion, and not just because Momoko, Miyako and Kaoru took over for most of the talking."

It would be foolish to think otherwise, what else would exhaust her to that point after all she had been through today?

Wait, today?

"How long was I unconscious?" Izuku asked in confusion.

"For a good couple of hours, it's already early evening." The old veteran told her as she gestured to the window beside her as she clearly saw that it was already dark out, not completely dark yet but it was definitely getting closer and closer to becoming pitch black outside.

That was when a thought struck her as she threw herself up into in upright sitting position.

"Oh no my mom is so going to freak out If I don't call her, if she already isn't!" Izuku basically shouted in panicked worry before she was stopped as the medical hero placed a left hand on her right shoulder.

When she had hopped onto the bed? She didn't know.

"Calm down dearie, Don't push yourself any more than you already have to." Recovery girl told her in a firm but gently reassuring way, "We already long since called your mother, in fact we thought It'd be best if we spoke to her in person so we asked her to come to UA while we let you get some rest here. It was quite obvious to us where you got most of your traits from."

This caused the young greenette to blush heavily, it was no secret that she got most of her traits from her mother, in fact it was so much like that that hardly anyone would ever think that she had any traits from her father.

Though she knew that she did get the darker part of her hair and her freckles from him, at least according to what her mom told her.

"We... We told her everything that you told us," The old woman told her before she placed her other hand over the child's mouth as she quickly told her, "Before you say it, don't, your mother had every right to know, and it was high time that she knew the whole truth. Although I would be lying if I said that the nurse's office didn't nearly get flooded had we not calmed her down about a dozen times."

Yeah that sounds about right.

That was a family trait, All from her mother's side of the family according to her mom (she'd always been aware that she was adopted and even though she doesn't know much about her mother she did know that The tear trait came from her), They were both water spout cryers as they both wore their emotions and hearts on their sleeves.

Recovery girl removed her hand from her mouth as she then told her, "And we didn't just talk about what you went through during your childhood and up until recently, we also thought of the best if we told her the truth about both what had occurred today and about One for all, In fact it was Toshi's insistence that your mother ought to know the truth and should have been told this straight from the gecko for the latter."

This stunned her.

He was willing to let her mom in on the secret?

She blinked with the only thing she could say was, "And how did she take it?"

"To say she was equal parts awestruck and fearful for your life would have been an understatement, But never let it be said that she wasn't understanding. She listened to everything without interrupting once, only stopping every once in a while to question something that came up while explaining. While she was understandably upset that she wasn't told this right from the start, she understood the reason why and she's willing to let it continue if we promise to not keep her out of the loop anymore, to be careful going forward in your training and let her help when needed, which we all agreed on. And soon after that she profusely thanked us for looking after you through all of this." She told her with a grateful smile, to which Izuku gave the same as she sighed in relief.

It was good to know that her mother was going to be on board on this, that made her feel a little better as she's always hated hiding the truth from her, it was only a matter of time before It would come out one way or another.

Not to mention that Looking back, not telling her straight from the start was only making the worry even worse for her mother.

For the longest time it was always just the two of them and nobody else, that kind of reality was often pretty sad.

And she honestly didn't want to think what would have happened if she never met ... her mentor.

She... She admitted to herself that she saw her mentor... As her father...

And the way he held her, like she were his daughter... Was it really true? She made a note to think about it later later but for now:

"Where is everybody else?"

"I just got the call a minute ago, they just finished doing a mandatory meeting in the principal's office and are on their way back here, If you like I can let them know that you're awake and ready to see them?"

Izuku was hesitant for a moment, but then she lightly smacked both sides of her facial cheeks with her hands as if to snap her out of a daze, before she gave the older hero a determined look and said:

"Ye... Yeah, yes. ... sure I'm nervous about what's going to happen... But, I want to face it head on."

To which, Recovery girl gave her a smile and a confirmed nod, glad to see that despite some hesitation she didn't want to run away from this again.

She could see that those new parts of her were helping her in more ways than one, and hopefully in time she won't have to rely on them too much to speak as herself if she needed to say something very pressing.

Best not to trade one problem for another.

"There's one last thing I want to tell you before you return home," She told her as she pulled out her cellphone and sent the others a text message to let them know that she was awake, "It's okay to not feel okay, even heroes have times were they may look like they're okay on the outside but really on the inside they're not, and it's okay to admit that sometimes, that's just a part of life and growing up, there's no shame in asking for help when absolutely necessary especially if it's something that's disconcerting, or even if it's something seemingly not so important but could really actually be important and it needs to be said. Don't be hesitant to admit when something is wrong dearie, otherwise we won't be able to help you, no matter how awkward or serious it is."

That really made her think about the person behind All Might, She knew that to everyone else his hero persona was a shining beacon of hope, he was virtually invincible, that nothing got to him, that he was never sad, scared or lonely, that he never got hurt or even if he did then it was nothing but pretty mild in his case, That there was nothing wrong going on in his life.

But... She knew better...

And so did the others.

He was just as human as she and everybody else, he does get hurt, even he could get sad, and lonely, even he has his own problems but he would rather not speak of them and worry everybody else although he was willing to admit when something was wrong depending on the case ... He too could get scared...

She knew about his injury and about his health condition, she knew the eventuality of him retiring even if the thought itself seemed unbelievable but was still understandable even if it was in a way scary and sad at the same time, She knew he had his limits, Especially when he had admitted that he was going to need help in training her, hence why he was asking for help now.

He was trying to set an example for her in his way, And from what the elderly veteran told her, She would be a fool to not heed it.

"Right." She replied with a firm nod.

And Recovery girl gave her one back.

While they were waiting, given the fact that UA was a very large high school including the campus itself, the veteran insisted on giving her one last check up to make sure she was all right after the whole debacle that happened hours ago, which she understood as she followed through without an issue.

During that time she did ask her every once in a while a question about her hero career, to which she was more than happy to humor her as She didn't really mind whatsoever, and given that she was a fan girl (both as herself and the fact that Momoko was also a fan girl) it was understandable and endearing.

In return she too asked every once in a while questions on her thoughts about how one can improve particular quirks, given what she had been told about her excellent knowledge in quirk analysis, to which she got basically an encyclopedia chapters worth an explanation but she did not mind as it was very enlightening.

Soon enough, Recovery girl gave her a clean bill of health, which was a relief for the young teen.

And just in time too as the door to the nurses office opened as everybody arrived including her mother, though her mother upon seeing her was the first to confront her as she ran over before embracing her daughter closely, with a look of relief yet sadness and guilt on her face as She was sobbing.

"Izu, my little Izu I'm sorry, I'm so so so sorry, had I only known how bad it was getting for you I would have done something more, everyday I worry about you and it broke my heart knowing that you felt like you couldn't tell me just because you were scared of making me upset, honey I have every right to know, a mother has every right to worry about their child, no matter what happens you'll always be my daughter, I'll always love you no matter what happens, I'm so sorry I wasn't as supportive as I should have been all those years ago, I'm sorry I couldn't put more effort into trying to stop The bullying from continuing, I'm so sorry that you had to suffer and felt like you were alone, And I'm especially sorry that things got so bad between you and Katsuki, I knew that you two weren't close anymore but I never knew how bad it was getting between the two of you, especially as he was the one who was your main bully and told you those unexcusable words. I absolutely will be talking to Mitsuki about this as she and her husband have every right to know, I promise I will never let that boy hurt you again, and don't you dare blame yourself, you never ask for any of the bullying to happen, whatever happens it won't be your fault, And for now on if there's anything you want to speak about you can tell me anything as I'll also be in on your secrets too, understand?"

This made the dam break forth again as she too started sobbing as she returned the hug and held her mother as closely as she could, Nodding furiously, feeling like something had burst inside but in a good way, something she had been keeping inside that she no longer needed to burden herself with.

Pure relief flooded her system, sure she still felt guilty but her mother just told her not to blame herself, and her other personalities inside of her told her that there was nothing to be ashamed of.

Because none of this was her fault.

The only ones that were actually at fault were the people who have done her wrong for all this time.

And knowing that she didn't have to keep secrets from her mother anymore was also a big stress reliever.

The more she thought about it the more her sobs grew worse as She buried her face into her mother's shoulder where her heart was.

Inko, the woman who had The same pure emerald green hair (more solidly) and eyes as her, had the same skin coloring as her, wearing a pink button-up cardigan on top of a pale pastel yellow shirt, purple skirt that went to her knees and brown flats, could only let her tears fall more as she held her daughter even closer.

Words alone could never describe how guilty she felt for never knowing the truth or even bothering to investigate herself, had she only done so maybe she could have at least prevented some of the pain that she was forced to bear, that her sweet kind little girl was forced to bear with ever since she was diagnosed as quirkless around a decade ago.

No words could describe how sad she was knowing the actual pain that she goes through every single day at school.

Even though according to Nighteye as of late her main bully hasn't been antagonizing her mainly due to the entrance exam coming up, that doesn't change the fact that the boy still hated her for even existing, It would never change the fact that her bully still hated her and was still hurting her even in a different way, and knowing of her daughters worries of what he could do to her if he found out that she was still planning to take the entrance exam regardless of his threats, it both scared and angered her at the same time.

She meant what she said, she was not going to let that boy hurt her daughter anymore, even if she had to fight him herself, even if it meant that She would no longer see him as a surrogate nephew... Even if it meant that she had to do the unthinkable, something she never thought she would have to do but for the sake of Her daughter's safety and future happiness, she was willing to do what any sane, hard working, loving mother would do.

No matter how much it will hurt her in the end, her daughter meant more to her than anything else, and she was willing to persevere for her sake.

Besides, on the bright side she won't be completely alone in this, neither of them will.

A part of her was willing to forgive the boy as everybody else had boasted his ego to the point that he thinks that he could do whatever he wants without consequences and due to him not ever being reprimanded for his actions he became the way he was now, but another part of her could never ever forget what he had done to her only child especially in knowing what he threatens to do to her and of those inexcusable words that he said to her daughter that day.

Had Izuku not met Mr. Yagi... She honestly didn't want to think about it as the very thought of it was completely unbearable, she didn't think she could live with herself, and honestly the last thing she wanted was to commit suicide.

And the thought of her daughter doing such a thing, even if she never did think about it, was more terrifying in itself

For it was both wrong and it would only break people's hearts, Even if that number was a few.

She could never ever bear leaving her daughter all alone, nor knowing that her daughter was gone because of her.

Internally she vowed that she would do better as a mother, that she would be more supportive and help her daughter along from here on out, that she'll do everything she can to help her follow her dream no matter how scary it might be, to help her daughter truly be able to live her life to the fullest without being trampled down.

And in knowing that she wasn't alone in this filled her with relief.

Eventually the two broke the embrace as their sobbing finally subsided, though some tears were still lingering.

Mother and daughter met face-to-face as her mother held her face in her hands as she gently wiped away her remaining tears.

"Just leave everything to us okay?" She gently asked as her daughter gave her a small smile as she tried to reassure her even if it was wobbly as she nodded.

Recovery girl, now seeing the opportunity to step in, had gently asked the two if she could speak with her mother privately about details on therapy plans.

Inko agreed before reassuring her daughter that she would be back as soon as she could as her daughter told her that she would be fine with the others before Inko went with the nurse to the room adjacent to that one so they could discuss the details in private.

This left her with Aizawa, Nezu, Tsukauchi, Gran Torino, Nighteye and... Yagi...

She really wasn't sure what to call him now, but again she hoped she could have a moment with him to discuss things.

"How are you feeling squirt?" The older man asks her, a little gruff but otherwise gently as she gave him a reassuring smile as she told him, "I feel a bit better, I mean not entirely but, I'm fine enough for now."

'At least she's trying to be more honest with herself.' Basically everybody was thinking the same thing as Gran Torino nodded before he said, "That's good to hear."

"I'm assuming Recovery girl already told you about us telling your mother everything that happened including the fact that she's now in on the secret?" Nezu asked her as she nodded before she replied, "Yeah, And to be completely honest, a part of me still feels a little unsure but for the most part it feels relieving not leaving my mother out of the loop again."

The principal nodded in understanding, trauma had a huge hand in her unsure nature, but he was glad to see that she was trying to be more accepting and willing to admit how she feels.

It seems like the girls are doing her more good than he hoped.

And hopefully this can continue going forward.

"It's okay to still feel a little unsure, just as long as you don't let it become a problem later, as long as you are willing to admit how you feel all will be all right." Aizawa told her in a slightly less neutral but gentle way before the girl nodded before she told him that Recovery girl had told her something like that earlier, to which he nodded in relief in knowing the old lady had already been one step ahead of them.

"We had all agreed that for the next couple of days you'll get time off just to try and relax and destress after all that has transpired. Rest assured this won't affect you in your training as everybody needs time off every once in a while, even us, otherwise we will be too wound up to the point that we would explode, metaphorically speaking." Nighteye told her calmly with a reassuring smile of his own.

Nighteye still felt a little guilty about earlier, but he promised himself that he would get to know her more as a person, that he would Not be too hasty in judging, that he would listen more before making a final verdict. If he was going to be helping her to prepare for the future then he needed to get his priority straight. For her sake.

"I.. I understand." Despite some hesitation she nonetheless agreed.

Sure she had every right to worry about getting the beach cleanup done and about her training before the entrance exam, but he had a point.

She could feel Momoko reassuring her that it was okay to take a break every once in a while, because otherwise she would end up stretching herself too thin and hurt herself, besides overworking herself in order to try to avoid a problem is never a good idea because it will only manifest another.

"Be-Besides, This could give my mom and I, And the rest of us, time to be able to get to know Momoko, Miyako and Kaoru a little better, since they're going to be a part of our lives from now on, it would do us good to be able to reorient ourselves to finding where the new normal is going to be from now on." She stated, mostly to reassure herself but otherwise she made it known as she saw that the others agreed with her.

Nighteye was especially relief knowing that she wasn't as destructively stubborn as Toshinori, I mean sure he had been told that he had already warned her about the dangers of overworking herself and that it was okay to ask him to add more to her training so that he can make the appropriate adjustments in order to ensure she wouldn't burn out, but something about getting the that kind of confirmation in person felt a bit more relieving.

Not that he doubted his former boss, but a part of him still worried, yet he was glad that he got that confirmation nonetheless.

"Before you leave though, I would like to ask you a couple questions about a few things to help with putting this case together so that We can file a lawsuit against your school, And make sure that none of your perpetrators will try to hurt you again nor ever attempt to sabotage you as revenge." Tsukauchi explained with a disarming smile, for as much as he didn't want to push her anymore than she already has been, he knew that this was important and that the sooner they could get this done the better.

Izuku understands this too, with Kaoru's help trying to stomp down the nervousness as it was better to get this done as soon as possible rather than procrastinate and let things fester to the point of another disaster happening.

"Of course." She told him, albeit a little forceful on her end but she did mean it as She nodded once again in agreement.

Sure it pained the officer a little seeing her trying to force herself a little but he could see it in her eyes that she was determined to see this through, and willing to comply if it meant that all of this can be resolved as soon as possible, even if she might be a little nervous.

Baby steps.

"During this break period, we will also discuss how we're going to do your training from here on out, and this will give us time to establish how we're going to do it not only so that you can get a handle on these new powers completely but also so that you'll have enough ample time to be able to learn how to use One for all before the entrance exam." Nezu explained to her before adding, "But for now, after you finish speaking with Tsukauchi and Toshinori and return home for the evening, you should focus tonight on just relaxing and having some family time with your mother."

She gave him a happy smile in knowing that she was still going to continue with her training but on a later date to give her time to be able to relax and plan things out accordingly.

Toshinori, Was the last one to confront her as he wanted everybody else to speak with her first before he did as he approached before kneeling down to her eye level as he asked her, "Izuku, Please be honest with me, how do you feel about all of this?"

The man who she saw as her father, showing her such fatherly concern, Who spoke her name with such care, wasn't asking her if she was feeling all right as she had already been asked that by his old mentor, No he was asking her how she felt about this, as in was she all right with this in general.

She inhaled before she exhaled deeply as she replied: "I still feel like my world's been turned upside down, I feel like things are starting to smooth out though I still can't help but feel like there's still some things that still feel kind of bumpy here and there, but... I'm managing so far... I'll... I'm not entirely fine but... like I said I'm managing, and I hope I will be in time... and... I know I don't have to be alone anymore... sure it will take some getting used to... All this... But..."

Toshinori saw her frown and cast her head down for a few moments before looking back up to face him, with a content smile as she said, "... Everything is going to be all right, I'm sure..."

Toshinori smiled back, satisfied with that answer as he affectionately ruffled through her soft yet fluffy wild locks with his right hand.

But he was most certainly not expecting her to grab his hand before pulling him towards her as she gave him a hug, at first he was startled and froze up a bit but he soon relaxed, smiling more as he returned to gesture.

Izuku nuzzled into his chest as she told him, "I don't know where I would be if I never met you that day... honestly the thought of it scares me... If not for you, I wouldn't be where I am now, You've done more for me than anyone else ever had... I'll always be grateful for our encounter all that time ago, and every moment we spent... Thank you... Dad..."

She could feel him freeze up for a split sec, at first she felt like she said something wrong in her confession, but quickly that was silenced as she felt him hug her even closer to him, Her head under his chin as he nuzzles her back and said, "And I am grateful for that too, Izuku. I don't know where I would be if I never met you that day either, And in now knowing what you've gone through the very thought of it scares me even more. But one thing is for certain, No matter what happens nothing will change how I feel about you. You made everyday something for me to look forward to in a way like I haven't felt for the first time in so long, as I believe it's been the same for you, No words can describe how much joy I felt spending time with you not just in training but also just simply talking with one another and getting to know each other more and more. I always have and I always will be grateful to have you being a part of my life and that I can be a part of yours too... My kind and brave daughter."

And like before a new set of tears came forth but this time they were of relief and pure joy as a big smile grew before she nuzzled into her chest even more as the two of them embrace each other even closer, not caring about the fact that her shirt was getting drenched by his tears as his was getting drenched by hers.

Not caring if anybody was watching as they felt like a part of themselves that had been incomplete was finally filled with something they knew they had been lacking and was finally able to embrace completely, filling the void that had been lingering for too long.

With this, they knew for sure that no matter what happens, everything was going to be okay.

Everybody else was watching in content as each of them smiled, sure some had a few questions but, they were fine with not asking them right now.

This was a kind of closure that they needed, And it would not be right of them to interrupt it.

They were fine waiting until they were finished, they were okay in waiting to confront the number one hero after the Midoriya's leave.

For now, No one dared to disturb the silence between a father and daughter.

No one even commented on the fact that Inko and Recovery girl, who had just finished their discussion a little while ago, had came in as the two were talking as it was endearing to see Inko with happy tears at this development and funny to see her taking a picture of this with her phone, But understandably so for her to want to treasure this moment for as long as she could.

Done!!!!

Can you believe I actually got this done in one day? Normally it would take me at least a few days give or take depending on what's going on and if I have a case of writers block somewhere, but nope, This time I was so full of motivation and inspiration that I was able to get this all done!

And it was only today that I got the spell check all done.

As always, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and please leave your reviews here and tell me what you think, If you want.

Until next time, TTFN!
