Chapter 2
A/N: Thanks for the love for this story.
I want to try and make somethings clear for Haku's power to be less confusing if anyone doesn't know how it works.
The powers are basically similar to Gojo's limitless, 6 eyes, cursed energy and reverse cursed energy. Haku hasn't seen Jujutsu Kaisen as it isn't a thing in his earth yet, but he has read many Chinese manhwa that use dantian and QI so will pretty much mimic some techniques from there to manipulate cursed energy.
The 6 eyes allow him to be aware of the world and take in information that is hard to see from the naked eye. It allows him to understand how spells, techniques and barriers are constructed as well as be able to have an idea on the weak points of someone's body. I don't want to add haki in, but it can also function similar to that. And also, I am not fully sure how Gojo's eyes make him feel delusional, but with Haku taking in so much information at once, his eyes itch and with that will cause a reaction within his body to try and tackle the itch which will result in him look as if he sniffed some cocaine.
Hopefully that helps with understanding Haku's power.
Also, for the pairing, I don't know who to put him with or even put him with someone at all.
Finally, Haku won't become a hero that will defeat bad guys and all that stuff. But he will be a hero nonetheless which the reasonings will be brought up in the videos that he does when they get mentioned. Haku is pretty much doing his own thing and will get involved with helping Izuku now and then. But in his time in the universe, he has been close with his mother and loves her the most where he is trying to let her rest and not work as much.
But anyway, here is chapter 2
2 years Later
Izuku has been getting on my nerves lately.
I know what is happening, I watched the first couple of episodes to know what he is up to, so I get the idea.
But the thing is. I have grown up with Izuku and watched first hand at the things that he has been through in life to develop actual feelings for the situations that canon events occur. Which are important to the knowledge I have on what he is up to.
If you do not know, then he has started training with All might.
As many of you are aware, Izuku found out that he will never be able to get a quirk in his life due to not having an extra bone in his little toe. When he got back home and was watching an All Might DVD, he cried and Inko told him that he couldn't be a hero. Which Izuku didn't wanted to hear that from his mother.
Now, I get why it would hurt Izu at the time, and I would be upset with my mum if she said that I couldn't become something that I always wanted to be.
However, Inko Midoriya is my mother. I understand why she would believe that Izu would never become a hero. It is a reason for my mother gaining weight. And it hurts me seeing my mum hurting and not believing in Izu because she blames herself for having my quirk mutate and Izu becoming Quirkless.
I was standing outside Izu's room when I heard them 2 at the time. I was doing the shopping because mum wanted to make a surprise for Izu when he got his quirk announced so I couldn't come with them when they went to the doctors. Hearing the convo in person hurt me because of how attached I was to my family. A couple of minutes later, mum came out of Izu's room and then saw me. I didn't say anything to her as she quickly dropped down to her knees and enveloped me in a hug and started crying her eyes out. So I did what any other son would do. I held her close.
I don't like seeing her cry or even hurt. She practically raised me when dad was working from the times I remember as well as then looking after me and Izu when he left. There is a year difference between me and Izuku so she was still an early mum.
Once I got my quirk I decided to help out as much as I could. I was three when my quirk manifested which was three years early than most people get their quirks identified. Cleaning the house, washing the diches, helping mum cook, looking after Izuku were many things I did to try and help her feel less hurt by the events happening in her life. Even though my quirk was a mutated version of hers, it was still similar, so I was able to train that aspect of it and be able to get stuff easily so she didn't have to worry about stuff when she went work.
Taking care of Izu was a big thing I did when I was little. So then, when my mum told Izu that he couldn't become a hero, I took it upon myself to help Izu help lessen the pain in his heart.
Flashback
Knock Knock Knock
There wasn't a reply through the door to Izuku's room, so I let myself in.
The room was dark with the main lights turned off. The only light source being the dim light coming from Izuku's computer.
"I see your watching another All Might DVD." I say to him, trying to get him to talk.
As I got close to him, I was able to see his face and the state that he is in.
Face glued to the screen to the figure of All Might. Lifeless eyes staring out unblinkingly with tears spilling out. And finally, the smile that he does that resembles All Might's.
He doesn't respond to me and continues to watch the screen. I am not sure how long I waited but I decide to speak again.
"Yo Izu." I start off. "Come with me for a sec." I say to him before I turn his swirling seat around so its facing me. he doesn't respond or react as I start to pick him up and place him on my shoulders, and start to make my way towards the door. The corridor is quiet because I helped mum go to bed and put her to sleep.
I made my way to the front door without a word and slowly exited the house.
I walked aimlessly around our neighbourhood and away from our block of flats. As it was night time, no one was out so it was ideal to be strolling around. Izuku hasn't said a word and I hold his legs tightly as his arms are wrapped around my neck. After a few minutes of walking, I decided to speak.
"Heroes are a topic that is heavy to talk about you know." I say, getting a flinch from my brother.
"Heroes go around defeating bad guys and saving the day is what you know and see everyday. But Izu, I would say that a lot of the hero work can be done without a quirk." After saying that, a shift in Izu could be felt and for the first time in a while, I heard him speak.
"W-what are you saying Big brother Haku?" he says. At this point, I made it towards the beachside where Izuku starts his training with All might. I place him down on the beach as it wasn't that dirty and hugged my brother from behind.
"What I'm saying Izu, is that you can be a hero without a quirk." I say. I don't hear him say anything, but I could feel my hands getting wet with his crying.
Flashback End
Unfortunately, my motivation didn't last long, and he went back to being upset and stopped believing in himself.
At this point, I was starting to get used to my quirk and began doing physical exercises to get my body into a better shape to be more proficient with my quirk and to build up stamina as that was a set for me to utilise my quirk.
Well anyway. best to move on from the past and focus on the present.
"Have I got your attention Haku?" My mum says to me, once I snapped back into reality.
"Wait what? Mum, did you say something?" I question her back. Unfortunately that seemed to be the wrong reply as she whacked me over the head with a cucumber.
"Ow, sorry mum!" I shriek out due to the pain. I could have activated my quirk but I'm with my mother on a shopping trip so why would I even do that?
"Jeez, we have been stood still in this spot for 5 minutes now. I've been trying to get your attention, but you seemed out of it. Is everything ok?" She explained to me and also getting concerned at the end.
I laugh at her, and she pouts before wrapping her in a hug and spinning her around with me now being taller, she hates it when I spin her and she can't do anything.
"Hehe, its fine mother. I was thinking on how I could take over Japan and make all the heroes beg at my feet." I say to her releasing her from the hug. Not long after, she whips out a bread from the trolley and hits me in the back of the head with it.
"Owww. Stop it mum it hurts." I say to her, on the verge of tears.
"Oh, hush now sweetheart. I am your mother so I can do whatever I want to you." She says to me, stomping her foot on the ground and looking on with pride. Her expression didn't last long as an embarrassing blush took over her face as I kissed her forehead and wrapped her in a behind hug.
"Of course. I'm your darling son for you to do as you please." I say in a much louder tone where the people around us looked at us and hear what I said.
Mum now putting her hands on her face to cover herself from the people, somehow manages to get out of my hold once I loosened the grip and started to carry on walking ahead.
"Ah mum, wait for me." I call out to her, quickly catching up to her and taking the trolley off her hands.
Line Break
We carried on walking around the shops after completing our weekly shop. The day is still bright with it just hitting midday. With Izu in education still and mum nit having to go to work until tonight, we had a lot of time to wander around and see what else stuff we may need for our new house which I finally persuaded mum to allow me to buy. It took the 2 years, but we made it boys.
"So Haku? How has your streaming thing going on?" my mum asks me.
"Eh, its going well. I'm helping a lot of my followers out with advise and that as well as being able to give them an insight into my life. Also, they got angry a couple years back when I made subscribing to me free. I felt bad for exploiting them with a paid subscription but they bullied me into putting it back on and helped me support my many projects." I explain to her.
"Ooh that's good. Will you be going over seas anytime soon?" she asks.
"Well, not at the moment no. I just came back 2 months ago from France and it was great. I don't know why you refused as it was an all-paid trip." I reply.
"Well I'm sorry that I wanted to look after Izu. Even though he can look after himself, I didn't want to be far away from him for the 2 weeks." She says looking down in sadness.
I glance at my mother briefly and saw how upset she was. Whenever I had to go to Europe or America, I would always asked my mother if she wanted to come with me. but she turned me down all the time because she didn't want to leave Izuku alone. Then after she would feel extremely guilty because to her she is missing on my big moments and doesn't feel like she is spending a lot of time with me.
For a person who isn't meant to be in this world and has seen My Hero Academia, it is understandable why she wants to be with Izu more. It does hurt me a bit because I am not able to spend time with her as much, but I understand her and am ok with her just staying in Japan. I make sure though that I get a lot of fridge magnets and presents for her as well as Izuku when I come back.
I wrap my arm around her and squeeze her gently, getting her to look up towards me as I smile down at her.
"I don't mind mother. At least I can spend moments like these with you hey." I said, trying to cheer her up.
"I'm sorry, I got a little bit emotional just then." She says giggling a little.
"Ayo mum, you know I don't like it when you apologise to me. so, stop apologising to me." I demanded not so seriously.
"I'm sorry darling." She apologises. But giggles after seeing my eyebrow twitch.
"Mother." I say quite loudly. Unfortunately, mum decides to laugh at my reaction as we enter a sofa shop.
Line Break
The sun is about to set once we made it home.
I am unsure of what the brand is here as the word for it is too difficult for me to say, but we managed to get all the stuff that we needed into my Lamborghini Urus and drive it safely home. Safely because of how bad the traffic was.
Once we managed to take everything to our house before coming back to our flat, I decided to make something food for us after I demanded my mum to take a nice long soak in the bath. Izu isn't home, well he was but he went out to -my guess being- train with All Might, so I make food for the three of us. With me and, now, Izu needing to eat a lot of calories, I was able to make a lot of food full of the nutrients that Izu needs from his diet plan given to him by All Might.
It did hurt me a lot actually when I tried to make Izu spill the beans about who made the fitness and diet plans up and why the sudden interest in training. He lied about both, well, he told me that he made the diet plan up himself after seeing how week he was when he was close to going to UA high. And he told me that the reason why he is training now is because of the incident with the sludge monster and seeing the power from myself and All Might. I'm not going to talk about that as I think that it should be talked about at a different time.
An hour goes by and I finally finish up plating mine and mum's food and placing them on the table.
I look up towards the direction of the kitchen top, and saw a hair brush start floating and going towards my mum. Seeing it go to my mum, I couldn't help but stop a laugh coming out of me after seeing my mum in her new pink pj's that I bought her and her hair down wet which was making her look so cute when she started brushing her hair.
Unfortunately I couldn't quite manage to hold in my giggles as a chortle of a noise came out of my mouth and alerting my mum who looked in my direction. She looks at me and I quickly try and put my hands to cover my mouth.
"Is everything OK, Haku? Do you need any help?" she frantically questions me and makes her way over towards me in a hurry.
I couldn't take it anymore and glomp my mother in a tight hug, startling her and making her drop her brush.
"I'm sorry mum, but please don't hurt me. I couldn't help myself from laughing because of how cute you look." I finally revealed.
She became bright red and buried her face in my chest which also resulting her wet hair getting on me.
"S-stop it. you got me these PJ's so I decided to put them on. Let go of me so that I can change." She says whilst trying to get out of my grasp.
I don't let her and continue to hold her until she gave up and still kept her face buried in my chest.
I opened my eyes and saw the brush laying on the floor, so I used my quirk and picked it up. I started to slowly brush my mums hair, startling her a little bit and finally lifting her head up from chest and looking at me as I pay attention to brushing her hair.
"You don't have to do this Haku." She says.
"I know." I reply back.
"…"
"…"
"I love you Haku." She says after a while and relaxes further into my hug.
"I love you to mother." I reply.
Not long after finishing brushing her hair, mum pushes me away from her and takes her brush away from me with her quirk. She finishes off the areas where I couldn't get to and finally sits down on the dining room table.
I went for some Italian dishes which my mum was happy to enjoy the food. We ate in silence and enjoyed eating together. It would have been better if Izuku was here with us, but he hasn't came back from his training and missed the time that we usually eat.
Also, with me and mum having a long day, I can see that she is tired so I know that she will be going bed early.
A couple of minutes later, and she finished eating her food as she had a small portion and headed off to bed after kissing me on the cheek and placing her dishes on the sink.
"Sorry I'm late Mom. Big brother." The voice of Izuku could be heard from the front door. I look up and see him covered in dirt and soaking in sweat.
"Jheez, I never was able to get you train at all and now I'm seeing you as if you are training for a marathon." I commented on his state.
"I-I'm sorry Haku." He apologises, looking down in sadness a bit.
"I'm not bothered Izu. But mum is asleep after the long day she has with shopping for the house and your food I cooked are left on the side of the counter." I informed him.
"Ah, Thank you, big brother. I will go shower then eat. Then clean the plates." He told me once he came into the big open room and saw what I made for him.
"Nah sack it. I'll sort the dishes and cleaning out. You go take a bath cos you stink then eat up then go bed. You have the UA entrance exams tomorrow I believe so you need to get ready for that." I say to him.
"Ah your right. I need to get up early and study more." He replies in a panic. He quickly rushes off to take a shower whilst put my dishes in the sink and go to my room.
Once I enter my room, I make my way towards me computer and start off my stream.
"Hello chat." I say to the many followers entering my stream.
A/N: I wanted to work on another chapter of this more as I wasn't feeling like writing more of my Lisanna insert story. I just didn't know how to start it so I decided to focus on something else to write about. The next chapter may be for my Familiar of Zero story, so make sure to check that out if you want.
The next chapter of this will be the start of the whole canon events and how my character ends up joining UA high.
