A world with quirks means its people will wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. 298. Woman (female Nomu)

A.N. — Nomu are hard to write for, as this one took multiple drafts before I was pleased with the tone. Some Nomu didn't do much, but this one was quite the foe, so I wanted to make sure I did her justice without just rewording the actions of the plotline.

298. Woman (female Nomu)

The multiple quirks Nomu possessed were a double-edged sword. With extra abilities came increased instability... but not in Woman. She was (un)living proof of the adage of the female of the species being more deadly than the male.

The Doctor had taken an already bloodthirsty killer and amped up her lethality while not impairing her intellect. Woman was given two fiddly, unwieldy quirks — Liquification and Rupture — and had the wherewithal to combine them into a nearly unstoppable combo attack. Working in tandem with the Super Regeneration all Nomu possessed, Woman continually unmade and remade her body to devastating effect.
