A.N. — Strangely enough for a one-appearance character, I've had this bad guy's drabble planned for quite a while. It helps that, while not the main antagonist, he really provided the most visceral sense of danger for me from the second movie's cast (sorry, Nine). Happy birthday to Chojuro Kon!
277. Chojuro Kon/Chimera
Chojuro had told those hero brats he'd been called a monster his entire life. He never said whether he viewed that as a negative.
By giving in to his animalistic side, Chojuro truly became the fearsome Chimera. He'd inured himself to all the hateful epithets and wary glances thrown his way, choosing to use people's mistrust as motivation rather than letting it embitter him.
But battling these heroes in training (one even had a mutant quirk like him), Chojuro couldn't help but resent the opportunity they'd been given that he'd been denied. That animus, though, would carry him to victory.
