279. Nejire Hado (Nejire Chan)

A.N. — I had a word I based this write around. As I kept editing and tweaking the chapter, I thought about abandoning the concept. But, like today's character, I wasn't going to give up. A very happy birthday to Nejire Hado, the (rapidly) beating heart of UA's big three.

279. Nejire Hado/Nejire Chan

With her constant stream of chatter and endless string of curious questions, to flitting around people like a hummingbird, those who met Nejire Hado thought her indefatigable. That energy had a rebound, however.

Nejire kept up a bouncy, positive front nearly nonstop because she felt it was expected of her. Yes, she liked looking at things optimistically, but she was fully capable of getting serious when necessary. Nejire was also aware she could be a bit much, getting chided for her bluntness.

With Wave Motion, Nejire could literally be above her peers. But she never lorded that power over them.
