Chapter 39
[Play KH DDD OST Traverse in Trance]
The time was 5:20 A.M. and the day was Sunday. Sora was asleep on the couch, as he usually was this early in the day. The sun wasn't even up, so there was no reason for him to wake up yet. However, he was not fortunate enough to remain asleep for much longer, as there were plans involving him today.
A few knocks on the door were heard and Sora slightly stuttered, hearing the knocks, but not waking up. A few more knocks came and then Sora's eyes slowly opened, figuring out that someone was indeed at the door. As he was getting off the couch, a few more knocks were heard. Whoever was knocking was determined to get an answer, or they were just stubborn. The boy, still mostly asleep, got to the entrance and opened the door to see who it was.
"Good Morning, Sora." Tenya greeted, as he was the person who was knocking earlier.
"Eh...what are...huh?" Sora groggily responded, unable to immediately figure out why Iida was here.
"Today is Sunday. The day we planned on going to that amusement park." The class rep reminded his classmate. "You didn't forget, did you?"
"...No." Sora answered, starting to wake up a bit more. "It's just that, I only woke up to your knocking a few seconds ago. What time is it? Why are you here before the sun is even out?"
"The park opens at exactly 8:00 AM." Tenya explained. "I knew that it would take a while to gather all of us together, so I elected that this would be the best time to get you all, so we could wait at the entrance to the park and give you and the others time to fully wake up. I woke up at 4:00 AM so I'm fully awake now."
Sora sighed, remembering that Iida was always like this with everything he does. "Come in for a bit and give me some time to get ready." The boy stepped aside and let his friend inside the Midroiya household. Tenya took a seat on the couch and patiently waited for Sora to dress himself in the proper attire, grab a quick snack to munch on later, grab his ticket, and leave a note to Inko and Izuku, who somehow didn't wake up from the knocking earlier. Once all that was finished, Sora left with Iida and began his day a bit earlier than he would have expected.
The two walked together through the dark sky as it was just beginning to slightly brighten up, showing that the sun was just about rising. As the two got onto the train, Tenya told Sora that Fumikage was the next person they were getting, due to the fact that he lived closer to Sora than Denki did. When Sora asked how Iida knew where those two lived, the class rep explained how he got their addresses by simply asking them and telling them that he will pick them up.
"Why didn't you ask me about where I lived?" Sora wondered.
"Well you already told me that you lived with Midoriya, and he told me where he lived once. He said that I could visit him if I ever wanted to talk about things." The class rep replied.
"Things?" Sora repealed. "Please don't tell me you have more issues Tenya."
"Oh, no. He offered it as a token of our close friendship." Iida reassured Sora. "Just to visit if I happened to be around at the moment."
"Whew. Well that's a relief." Sora said. "I've been so busy helping Nezu with a school project every day after school." He yawned, still kind of drowsy from waking up so early. "I come home exhausted and sometimes a little roughed up."
"If I may ask, what exactly is this project that the Principal requested you to do for him?" Tenya asked.
"Not allowed to say what it is." Sora replied. "Just know that because of said project, I'd be too physically exhausted to help you with another Villain trying to get you."
"Well, thankfully for the both of us, I'm not getting into that kind of trouble again." Iida assured.
"Very much." Sora agreed.
After that conversation was finished, the train arrived at the station they needed to get off on. They exited the vehicle and then walked a fair way towards Tokoyami's house. Sora let Tenya knock on the door a few times and shortly, their bird headed classmate opened the door, looking completely awake, but slightly surprised to see them both here.
"Did you call him beforehand?" Sora asked Iida.
"No, but this is favorable." Tenya noted to the Keyblade wielder before looking back towards Fumikage. "I see you've been awake for a while Tokoyami. I came to inform you that our plans for the amusement park are happening today and hope that you still plan on accompanying us."
Fumikage looked at Sora, who was now almost fully awake and then back at Iida. "I'm slightly confounded, considering how early in the day it is."
"Sora mentioned the same, but as I told him, in order to give time for everyone to be fully, if not mostly awake, as well as give us the most time possible at the park, I figured that this would be the most optimal time to gather the four of us." Tenya told him.
"Do most amusement parks open this early?" Tokoyami asked.
"No, but most have long lines at the entrances once they do open." Iida answered. "It's best to arrive 30 minutes to an hour beforehand, so you don't have to stand in a line and wait to enter the park."
"But...aren't we doing that anyway when the park isn't opened yet?" Sora commented.
"We'll be near the front, if not at the front of the line." The class rep told Sora. "Much more favorable than at the back of it."
With that discussion out of the way, Fumikage had them wait outside while he got himself ready. Once he returned to the entrance of his house, he was properly dressed and had his ticket on him. The three of them then left and went on their way to their next destination.
While they were on their way to Denki's home, Sora decided to try some small talk with Tokoyami. "So, how's it been since school?"
The bird headed boy looked at Sora, unsure if he should answer or not, then decided to do so. "It's been relatively normal."
"That's good." Sora replied.
"Indeed." Fumikage agreed.
"...Well...if you don't mind me asking...What's your normal?" The Keyblade wielder asked.
"My normal?" Tokoyami repeated.
"Everyone has a different kind of normal, right?" Sora pointed out. "Not everyone is the same."
"A fair assessment." Fumikage noted. "Though I am unsure as to why you wish to know what my normal is."
"Well, I see us as friends, but we don't really know each other that much." Sora stated. "I like to make sure that I know all of my friends pretty well."
Tokoyami pondered over that statement for a bit, then responded "I suppose so, and even if we weren't, it would still be beneficial for you to know me, seeing as we're classmates."
"Sweet." Sora said. "So, what do you usually do at this time?"
"A rather bold start." Fumikage commented, before answering the question. "Aside from eating breakfast, I...sometimes read or listen to things related to darkness."
Considering that Sora only knew one other person who did that, that person being Xehanort, he didn't really know how to respond to that. He took a moment to think, then said "Well, I may not be as into the Darkness as you are, but I think I can kind of relate to that."
"How so?" Tokoyami wondered.
"Well, you remember Oblivion?" Sora reminded him.
"That sword you brandished at the Sports Festival?" Fumikage remembered.
"Yeah, that one." The Keyblade wielder confirmed. "It has Darkness related properties to it, and I make sure to practice with all my weapons and know what they do."
"You're suggesting that you have some knowledge of darkness, because you use it in that blade?" The bird headed boy summarized.
"More like, I learned how to use some of it, by studying darkness for a short time." Sora corrected.
[Silence]
"Some of?" Tokoyami repeated.
"Yeah." Sora said.
There was silence between the two of them for a moment as Fumikage began to infer what Sora exactly meant by 'Some of it'. After a few more seconds of silence, the 1-A student spoke up. "Do you have a darkness that you hold back?"
"...More like one I...can't always control." Sora explained.
"It seems that even a light as bright as you can still cast a shadow." Tokoyami stated.
"Eh, nobody's perfect." Sora commented, making light of the situation. "But back to the topic before that, Oblivion basically helps me wield darkness."
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Among Kosei]
Fumikage seemed to want to ask Sora something, but was unsure if it would be appropriate at this time. Sora noticed his friend's reluctance and then decided to say, "If you want, I could summon it right now and let you look at it."
"What?" Tokoyami said, surprised that Sora would just offer that to him like it was some prop.
"You said it yourself, you like darkness related stuff, and Oblivion just screams Darkness." Sora explains.
"But, wouldn't it technically be illegal to summon a weapon out in public?" Fumikage pointed out.
"I can't use it to fight any Villains or disrupt the 'general populace' and what not." Sora stated. "Summoning it for a friend to look at doesn't do either of those, so I'm pretty sure it's fine. Besides, even if someone somehow managed to take it from my hand, the blade disappears from other people's hands in about five to ten seconds. A little safety measure I have."
"Odd, yet incredibly convenient." Tokoyami noted. "...if you're offering, then as a friend, I accept."
Sora smiled and summoned Oblivion in his hand, then held it by the middle of the blade and presented the hilt in front of Fumikage, to let him see it. The bird headed boy was definitely intrigued by the design. The bat wing hilt guards and purple diamond inside the hilt remind him of a few decorations in his room. After finishing up with looking at the hilt, Sora carefully spun the blade to the other side so Tokoyami could see the other side of the blade. Fumikage noticed how there were chains inside the center portion of the blade, which somewhat intrigued him, but what really got his attention were the teeth of the blade. He quickly realized that the teeth of the blade were shaped in a way to make it look like the Kanji for Darkness, which really solidified the whole dark vibe about the blade if the rest of the design didn't spell it out for you.
"You weren't joking when you said that this blade emphasizes darkness in it's design." Tokoyami commented.
"You want to hold it for a few seconds?" Sora offered as he spun the blade back around to present the hilt to his friend.
"Are you serious?" Fumikage questioned.
"Yeah. I can see you want to touch the blade." Sora pointed out. "And like I said before, it'll disappear after five to ten seconds when anyone takes it. Might as well let you hold it and let it vanish that way, right?"
After some hesitance, the bird boy grabbed the hilt and Sora let go of the blade to let his friend feel its weight. Despite the sword being longer than the other two blades Sora has, it was surprisingly easy to carry with one hand. It still had weight, but not enough to need two hands. Another thing was how comfortable the grip was. The design of the handle made it easy to grip, and in doing so, it felt comfortable to hold. The bird boy held the blade up to admire it for a few more seconds before it disappeared from his hand.
[Silence]
"So, how'd it feel?" Sora wondered.
"It felt...comfortable...yet still quite powerful." Tokoyami answered. "It is definitely a weapon that not just anyone can use, which speaks volumes about your strength."
"Thanks, but you and your quirk are strong too. Even when against your weakness, you still can occasionally power through all that light in your face and fight." Sora pointed out.
"I still have a ways to go." Fumikage stated.
"Same with me." Sora added. "That's why we're all at U.A. right? To get better and become great Heroes."
"Correct." Tokoyami agreed, seeming to warm up to Sora now as he has a small smile on his face.
"We're here!" Iida announced, causing the two to focus on him. "The Kaminari household. It seems that the lights are on, so maybe he is already awake."
"Lucky him." Sora commented.
"Let's see if he's already prepared to accompany us." Tenya suggested.
"Optimistic, but doubtful." Fumikage stated.
The three went to the entrance and then after a few knocks, the door was answered by a half awake Denki. "Who's knocking during breakfast?"
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Dogimagi]
"Greetings, Kaminari." Iida said.
"Hey Denki." Sora greeted.
Tokoyami was silent.
"Huh?" The yellow haired student was confused. "What are you guys doing here this early?"
"We came to see if you were still planning on accompanying us to the amusement park." Tenya informed him. "The park opens in an hour and a half and if we leave soon, we'll arrive in time to secure a spot near the front of the line."
"Oh, you're one of those kinds of guys, Iida." Kaminari realized. "Well, it is you. I should have expected that."
"He always shows up to class ten minutes early. Or at least does his best to do that." Sora added.
"An accurate assessment." Fumikage stated.
Denki yawned and then said, "Give me a minute to finish my breakfast and then get ready, kay?"
"I see no issue with that." Tenya responded while the other two nodded.
After about ten minutes of waiting outside, Kaminari came out with his ticket and a new set of clothes. "Alright, good to go."
"That's everybody." Sora said.
"Indeed." Tokoyami agreed.
"Now that we're all together, it's time to make our way to the amusement park." Iida spoke up.
The four of them walked together to the train station once more and then took said method of transportation towards their destination. When the four of them got off the train and walked to the amusement park called 'Zoo Dreamland', it was 45 minutes before the park was supposed to open, and while there were people waiting outside the park, as the class rep predicted, there weren't as many as there could have been if they showed up much later. The boys waited together in the line during that time and it gave Denki time to fully wake up. Fumikage looked at what he could see in the park from where he was standing outside of it. Sora took the time to eat that snack be took from earlier, since he hadn't had breakfast yet. Tenya patiently waited, but was admittedly a little excited to do something like this with his classmates. Time seemed to breeze by and once it was a few minutes after 8:00, the gates were unlocked to the entrance and the line began to move forward. Once the boys were in the front of the line, they each presented their tickets and were allowed inside the park.
[Play KH3 OST Dream Eaters]
When the four of them entered the park, it was definitely a sight to behold. There were multiple rides ranging from a carousel to a Ferris wheel, and there were also many different themed zones to visit at any given time. There was a forest zone, a savanna zone, an ocean zone, and a few others as well. There were many stands ranging from simple food stands to gift shops that sell souvenirs to take with you.
Iida decided that the first thing that the four of them would do was go to one of the gift shops and each pick a set of animal ears to wear. The class rep picked a set of rabbit ears for himself while Kaminari grabbed a set of bear ears and helped Tokoyami with picking a set of monkey ears for him to wear, albeit questioning why. Sora looked around for a second and ultimately decided to take a set of mouse ears. The four of them each paid for their sets and then they went on their way to explore the park.
"Perfect weather for a day at the theme park! Don't you agree, Kaminari? Sora? Tokoyami?" Tenya asked.
"President...are the ears really necessary?" Fumikage questioned.
"Not necessary per se, but embracing the park's theme is sure to make the experience all the more delightful!" Iida explained. "We became 'wild' inhabitants of Zoo Dreamland the moment we stepped through those gates. And besides, look! The families who've come today are also enjoying the headbands."
Tokoyami decided to just accept that reasoning and said "If that's how it is..."
"It's just the gimmick here, and c'mon. Girls with animal ears are cute as heck." Denki commented as two girls with rabbit ears conveniently walked by, kind of proving his point.
"Eeh. I'll give you that." Sora conceded, as he himself imagined Kairi, Namine, Xion, Ollete, even Aqua with a set of animal ears and they looked funny and admittedly cute in an innocent way for the first three.
"Oho. Sora for once is agreeing with an opinion about girls in attire?" Kaminari nudged him.
"First off, it isn't perverted." Sora pointed out. "Secondly...there are a few female friends I know that I think would look cute with a set of animal ears. Maybe even a bow to go with the set."
"Sora, talking about girls?" Denki questioned. "Is this a dream? Next you're gonna say that they're all yearning for you."
"What? No!" Sora immediately denied. "I may like one of them a little more than the others, but I don't want all of them on me."
"One of them." Kaminari repeated. "So you have a girl you got the hots for? Who is it? Is she in our class?"
"Eh?" Sora didn't realize that he said that first part about liking one of the girls that he was thinking about. "N-No! The girls in my class are all good friends and just that."
"So it's a girl we haven't met before." Denki kept prodding his friend. "Even more juicy."
"Gh...can we change the subject?" Sora requested as his face was starting to turn a small shade of red.
"Come on, Sora. There's nothing to be embarrassed about." Kaminari told him. "It's natural to have feelings for a girl...or guy...or both, if that's what you're into."
"I'm only attracted to a girl if that is what you're asking." Sora made clear.
"Ok. I mean, there's nothing wrong with liking guys either, if you..." Denki said.
"I didn't say there was anything wrong with that." Sora pointed out, trying to end this now awkward conversation.
"Oh...right. Well...I'm gonna change the subject now." Kaminari decided.
"Yes, let's." Sora agreed.
The two boys then see Tenya pull out a map and attempt to figure out a plan on how to get literally every ride before the day ended, but then Sora pointed out that they literally have the whole day to enjoy the park, so the group could take their time, but then Fumikage spoke up.
"I read on one of the posters on the way inside that there was this apple pie that could only be found in this park." The bird headed boy said.
"Well then we can head there first." Iida stated while Sora and Denki agreed to come along.
[Play KH3 OST Happy Hair Day]
It took a minute to figure out where the stand that sold the pies was, but after some trekking in the Forest Zone, they found 'Forest Sweets', an apple themed shop that sold the pie as well as other fruit related foods. Each boy got a slice and a drink to go along with it. For Sora, this was his very late breakfast, and wasted no time eating the slice he had. Kaminari ate his pie slowly, due to having already eaten a little over an hour ago, and Tenya and Tokoyami ate it at a regular pace, though Fumikage began to eat slightly faster when he realized just how good the pie was.
"Mm. Good." The bird headed boy commented.
"Indeed." Tenya agreed. "The cinnamon brings out the apples' sweetness while preserving the refreshing acidity. And the pie crust meshes perfectly with the apples softened texture. Delicious!"
"Well, it's ok to me." Denki commented. "Not too big on apples." The blonde then looked at Sora finishing his pie. "Sora however is really into the pie."
"Hey, I haven't had breakfast and I'm hungry." Sora retorted. "Cut me some slack."
"Wait, you didn't have breakfast?" Kaminari questioned.
"I woke up to our class rep knocking on the door." Sora stated.
"My apologies. I'll call ahead next time, Sora." Iida said before turning back to the other classmate who was enjoying the food. "I have to say Tokoyami. I had no idea you loved apples so much."
"People claim that the nutrition found in a single apple, if eaten daily, is enough to eliminate visits to the doctor." Fumikage told them.
"You talking about that 'apple a day keeps the doctor away' motto?" Denki summarized.
"Yes." Tokoyami confirmed. "Plus that perfect combination of sweet and tart. And they can be preserved for long periods of time. Truly, there is no fruit more perfect than the apple." As Tenya nodded to that, Fumikage spoke once more. "But you prefer oranges, don't you President?"
"Not exactly." Iida replied. "More like their juice is a gasoline for me, so I never pass up a chance to drink some?"
"Orange juice is your fuel for your leg engines?" Sora asked.
"Yes. It also helps that said juice is also very healthy." Tenya added.
"Hey, just out of curiosity, how much would you need to drink in order to get a quote on quote 'full tank'?" Kaminari wondered.
"Roughly four and a half to five soda cans worth." Iida answered as he saw that everyone finished their food. "But enough about that. Seeing as everyone is finished eating, are there any rides that have caught anyone's interest?"
"Not particularly." Tokoyami responded.
"I was more focused on my food, so I didn't think of one." Sora said.
"I got nothing either, so it's your pick Iida." Denki gestured to him.
"Very well. I know just the thing then." Tenya stated as he looked on the map for the ride he wished to try.
After some more walking, the boys ended up finding a wooded area filled with multiple sculptures carved between the trees in the area, and in the middle of the area was a large round red spherical sculpture. "What a bizarre space." Fumikage commented.
"I'll say." Kaminari agreed while Sora nodded.
"I understand that the park director is a patron of the arts." Iida noted. "So for years now, there have been temporary installations around here. When I came as a child, I once spotted a troupe of performing gymnasts in this very spot, their bodies painted white from head to toe."
"I think I'll take these sculptures over that any day." Denki said what the other two boys were thinking.
Soon after they passed that area, they arrived at their destination, an oasis themed teacup ride. "What am I looking at?" Tokoyami questioned.
"Oasis Teatime they call it." Tenya answered. "The first essential stop during any visit to the park! And look, no line! This is our chance Tokoyami."
As Iida raced for a cup, the other three followed and Sora commented "Considering how excited he is, this was probably his favorite ride as a kid."
The four of them entered a single cup together and then Fumikage noticed the disk shaped handle in the middle. "What does this handle do, President?"
"The faster we spin this, the faster the entire teacup rotates." Iida explains.
"Is that something we want?" Tokoyami asked.
"Yes...oh it's starting!" Tenya noticed the control operator beginning the ride.
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Slapstick]
Once the ride began, everyone noticed one thing immediately. Their teacup was beginning to spin much faster than the others already and three out of the four students didn't understand why, until they saw that Fumikage was rotating the disk in the center with all his strength. Denki and Iida gripped the side of the teacups tightly, afraid that they might fall out while the class rep spoke up. "T-Tokoyami?! What are you doing!?"
"The goal of the ride is to spin the teacup right! I'd say we're winning!" The bird headed boy stated as he continued to spin with all his strength.
"HUH!?" Kaminari responded.
"Heck yeah! Spin to win!" Sora cheered. "Let me help!"
"WHAT!?" Both Iida and Denki exclaimed as they held on for dear life even tighter than before when Sora added his strength to the spinning, making them go even faster than before.
"aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Fumikage roared.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Tenya screamed.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Kaminari also screamed.
"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Sora cheered.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Was the collective sound coming from that teacup during the entire ride, and luckily for them, they had strong enough stomachs to keep their pies and juices inside until the ride finally finished.
[Silence]
Sora had to help all three of his classmates out of the ride once it was over, because they were too dizzy to do so themselves. The three dizzy boys sat on a bench and Iida finally managed to say "Spinning the teacups...wasn't a competition...It's just for if you want to go faster."
"Ugh...you should have spoken up sooner." Tokoyami said.
Denki gagged for a moment before covering his mouth and stopping whatever was pushing up his throat to escape from his mouth, and after a few seconds of struggling, he managed to swallow whatever was planning on coming out. "Geh...ackm gross. Does anyone have any water?" He asked.
"No." Fumikage answered.
"Apologies, but I do not." Tenya told him.
"Well then..." The blonde student started to speak again. "Sora, since you're the only one who can still walk straight, can you take me to a restroom so I can wash my mouth?"
"Uh...yeah, sure." Sora said, feeling kind of guilty for his friend's conditions at the moment. He helped Kaminari up and then slowly walked him away from the others. "If you two end up recovered, go on ahead. We'll catch up."
"Understood...we'll do that..." Iida replied. "...If we can."
After about fifteen minutes of aimless wandering, Sora found a restroom for Kaminari to wash his mouth in, and after another five minutes of waiting outside, the blonde came out, feeling a slight bit cleaner in his mouth, literally. But, just when the two boys were about to leave they heard someone. "Hello?"
It came from behind them and when the two boys looked there, they didn't see anyone, which confused them, until Sora felt a small tug on his pant leg, which caused him to look down and see who it was. It was a little girl wearing giraffe horns ears.

"Um...hi?" Denki replied, confused.
"What do you need, miss?" Sora politely asked.
"Um...m-my name is Yuka." She introduced herself. "Have you seen my mommy?"
"Huh?" Sora replied. "You can't find your mom?"
"We ran into a lost child?" Kaminari realized.
"I'm not lost!" Yuka yelled at them. "I just...don't see my mommy right now...and you two are taller than me...so maybe you can see her?"
"Well, what does she look like?" Sora asked.
"S-She looks like me, but bigger." Yuka told them.
Sora and Denki turned and looked at everyone who was close, but nobody seemed to match her description "Sorry, but she isn't here." Kaminari said.
"Denki!" Sora reprimanded him before turning to Yuka. "What my friend meant to say, was we can't see her right now."
"Y-You can't?" She said, starting to worry.
"Hey, hey. It's okay." Sora said, crouching down to her level. "We won't leave you until you find your mommy ok?"
"Why not just take her to the lost child center?" Kaminari suggested.
"Because I'm not lost!" Yuka yelled again, causing Sora to rear his head back a bit from the noise.
"Ow..." Sora uttered before he got back onto his feet. "Well I guess that's out of the question."
"I guess so." Denki agreed. "And if we do, she might throw a fit and it'll make us look like we're abducting her."
"While I don't like the way you said that, you're still right." The Keyblade wielder replied. "So what do we do? We can't just leave her here."
"Yeah, but we also can't exactly just take her with us." Kaminari pointed out.
"But if the mom isn't here right now, then she's got to be somewhere else in the park." Sora rebutted. "And the more they're separated, the more they'll both panic."
"Yeah, but what can we do?" Denki questioned. "The only info we have is that she looks like her mom, and considering how young she is, I doubt she can give us any more info about her."
"Hmm." Sora thought for a moment. "Ok. For now, let's go regroup with the others, and maybe the four of us together can figure something out."
"You sure she'll not want to stick around here?" Kaminari asked.
"Y-You said that you can't see my mommy right now." Yuka spoke up. "If you can't see her here, then maybe you can see her somewhere else?"
Sora and Denki both looked at eachother, then back at Yuka. "Hey, Yuka?" Kaminari spoke up. "We're gonna go find some of our friends and see if they can help us find your mommy."
"But we don't want you to be by yourself." Sora added. "Is it okay if you come with us so we know you're okay?"
The girl was still stressed, but she was willing to trust the two boys. "O-Okay." She agreed, deciding to hold their hands.
The three then walked out of that area and the boys began retracing their steps to find their way back to Iida and Tokoyami. After at least ten minutes of that, the three found the other two boys, but Yuka seemed to hold their hands a bit tighter than before, which caught their attention, but they couldn't ask her what was wrong, because the class rep spotted them and wanted to know why they have a little girl with them. After some explanations, the other two boys were caught up.
[Play KH DDD OST Sweet Spirits]
"So you discovered a lost child, named Yuka?" Tenya summarized.
"I'm not lost!" Yuka yelled out. "Big girls in kindergarten don't get lost!"
"See?" Denki spoke up. "We can't exactly argue with her. She doesn't want us to take her to the lost child center."
"That's because I'm not a lost child, mister." Yuka explained. "I just...don't know where I'm supposed to meet my mommy."
"Right. You are literally a lost child." Fumikage pointed out to her, which caused Yuka to hide behind Sora.
"Hey, what's wrong Yuka?" The Keyblade wielder asked her.
"B-Birds are scary." She said. "One time, one ate my bread and bit me."
After a brief moment of silence, Kaminari began to laugh for a moment before Sora yelled "Denki!" which shut him up. Sora then reprimanded him again "Don't laugh about something that scares someone. That just makes the person feel worse." He sighed and then turned back to Yuka. "Sorry about him laughing at that, but you don't need to be scared. This bird here is my friend, and he may look scary, but he's actually really nice."
Kaminari decided to make up for his mistake by chiming in. "Yeah, and he only looks like that because of his Quirk."
"His Quirk?" Yuka repeated.
"Sorry for laughing. I get why some birds are scary." Denki related. "I got pecked by a crow once too."
"Tokoyami here is an absolute gentleman." Tenya assured her. "You have absolutely nothing to fear."
"But..." Yuka started to speak before stopping.
Fumikage sighed then said "Psychological scars don't heal that easily. Anyhow, her mother is probably worried about her."
"Indeed." Iida agreed. "We ought to bring her to her designated meeting spot at once, as that might resolve everything." The class rep then crouched to the girls level and asked "Now Yuka, where were you supposed to meet your mother in case you ever got lost?"
"In front of the apple!" Yuka answered.
"The apple?" Fumikage repeated. "Near where they sold those apple pies maybe? There was an actual apple there."
"Yes, there were most assuredly apple decorations near Forest Sweets." Tenya confirmed. "We should head back there."
"You're the one with the map, so lead the way." Sora suggested as he let Yuka hold his hand and walk with him, she moved to the side furthest from Tokoyami, and while Sora was a bit saddened that she was afraid of his friend, he didn't push it and decided to just let her be. She was already stressed enough.

As the five were making their way to Forest Sweets, Denki realized something. "Jeez, I hope nobody thinks we're kidnappers or something."
"Why would they, Kaminari?" Iida questioned.
"Well, four older guys with a little girl, makes for a pretty weird group." The blonde pointed out.
"If they catch you, I'll just tell the truth, so don't worry. Okay?" Yuka told them.
"Cool. Thanks Yuka." Denki replied, feeling a bit better about the situation they're in.
"I mean, I've seen weirder groups that do normal stuff like this often." Sora remarked. "Heck, you could even say that some Pro Hero groups are weird looking, but then you see them in action and they're just amazing."
"Mr. Spikey Head is right." Yuka said, causing Sora to get a slightly confused face. "I saw some Heroes on TV that look weird, but they're really cool."
"Wait...Mr. Spikey Head?" Sora repeated.
"Haha! Cause of your hair." Denki laughed. "Then what does that make me Yuka?"
"You're Mr. Blonde." She answered.
Tenya saw what was happening and smiled at the two of them. "You both are wonderful with children." He complimented. "It seems perhaps because you're so approachable? That's an essential quality for any good Hero."
"Ya Think?" Denki replied, a bit flustered at the praise.
"Thanks. I try to be." Sora took the compliment well.
"Um...what does approachable mean, Mr. Glasses?" Yuka wondered.
"Oh, well it simply means that someone is friendly and easy to talk to, Miss Yuka." Tenya happily replied.
"Oh. Well Mr. Blonde and Mr. Spikey Head were nice to me. And it wasn't too hard to talk to them." Yuka noted.
"Exactly, so that means they're approachable." Iida explained.
"Approachable." Yuka repeated. "Um...am I...approachable?"
"Of course you are." Sora answered. "You're very nice to us and it isn't hard to talk to you either."
She perked up at that response and said "Thanks, Mr. Spikey Head."
Sora just gave her a warm smile as they continued on their way. After some backtracking, the five of them reached Forest Sweets and Tenya asked "Is this where your mother told you to find her, Yuka?"
"No, not here." She answered before stretching her arms out as far as she could. "A way bigger apple, like thiiiiis big."
Fumikage turned to the class rep and asked "Do you know of any larger apples around here, President?"
Iida began looking through the map as he answered "I frequented Zoo Dreamland as a child, but no. I don't recall any giant apples. And nothing on the map hints at anything like this."
"Maybe they forgot to update the map?" Denki wondered.
"No. These maps get updated daily." Tenya stated. "I've been here enough times to know that much."

"A-Am I never gonna see my mommy again...?" Yuka asked, as tears were starting to form in her eyes.
Kaminari and Iida were starting to panic, and Fumikage was also worried, but Sora was able to stay calm enough to help her out. "What? Don't say that, Yuka. Of course you're gonna see your mom again."
"B-But you said you can't find the giant apple." She pointed out.
"We never said we couldn't find it." Sora reiterated. "We just said we can't see it on the map."
"But it's here somewhere." Yuka said, barely holding back from crying. "I saw mommy point at it before we went to get snacks."
"I'm sure it's somewhere." Sora assured her. "It's just somewhere that we can't see right now." The boy then realized something. "And we can't see much ahead of or in front of us, this low to the ground."
"Then why don't we get to higher ground?" Denki suggested.
"There aren't any hilltop areas in this park that would elevate us enough." Tokoyami stated.
"It doesn't need to be a hilltop. Heck, it doesn't even need to be actual ground. We just need a place that'll let us see more of the park." Kaminari explained.
"An excellent idea!" Tenya agreed. "But where can we find such a vantage point?"
"Hey." Sora spoke up. "Wasn't there a huge Ferris wheel near the middle of the park?"
"That's perfect!" The class rep exclaimed. "It's not even that far. We could be on within minutes and scan the entire park from inside the pod!"
"Another one that spins." Fumikage noted. "First the cups, then that weird carousel that the President took me to, now this."
"At least it's slow spinning." Denki remarked.
Sora, still comforting Yuka, spoke to her again. "It's gonna be okay, Yuka. I promise, you're going to see your mom again real soon. Okay?"
She wiped her eyes and sniffed a bit before saying "Okay." Then she took his hand and the five of them walked to the Ferris wheel together.

Just like Iida said, the group was on the ride within minutes and once they were on, they wasted no time. "Yuka. Take a good look and try to find your meeting spot." Tenya requested.
"Okay." She responded as she looked through the window.
As the pod rose, all five of them kept their eyes glued to the window, looking for something, anything that even looked like a giant apple, but so far, nothing. "Some sort of eyesight Quirk would come in real handy right now." Denki commented. "Too bad my Electrification is basically useless."
"Next time, I'll bring a pair of binoculars for you." Sora quipped as he kept looking through the window as they continued to ascend.
"My Quirk isn't suited to searching either, Kaminari." Iida pointed out as he kept his eyes open for any giant apples.
"What's your Quirk, Mister Glasses?" Yuka wondered.
"It's Engine." Tenya answered. "It allows me to run quickly."
"Cool." Yuka awwed, before looking a bit dejected. "I don't have my Quirk yet."
"It'll come soon." Sora reassured her. "And I bet it'll be even cooler than mine."
"Really?" She replied. "Um...what's your Quirk, Mr Spikey Head?" As she asked that, Sora summoned the Kingdom Key in his hand and let her look at the Keyblade for a moment in awe. He soon unsummoned the blade, so that she would go back to looking out the window to maybe spot her meeting point, but even as they reached the top, there was no luck. "I can't see it."
As they were going back down, Sora began to think out loud. "Ok. So if we can't see it from here, then this definitely got harder...but not impossible."
"How so?" Tokoyami questioned.
"Well, if we think about it, that means this giant apple is being blocked off by something bigger than it." Sora explained, allowing his deductive skills he learned from the Nighteye agency to shine. "There's a few big buildings around the park that are tall enough to cover some of the other rides, and there's also the Forest Zone that's almost completely covered by the trees, even at this height."
"So we're narrowed down to places that are close to ground level." Iida said as he looked through the map. "But every spot that isn't within view already is covered on the map, and none of them show..."
"We already know that this big apple isn't shown on the map, Tenya." Sora interrupted. "But most stuff that isn't a ride, shop, or restaurant also aren't shown on the map. So we can't just outright say it isn't there without at least looking first."
"...I suppose that is true." The class rep agreed. "Very well. We can move from closest to furthest and check every area until we find this giant apple!"
[Silence]
As the five of them continued their search for this giant apple, some of them started asking other employees about it, and even they couldn't help them. At this point, Denki sighed. "With how long we've been looking, the mom might not even be at that spot anymore. Let's just try the Lost Child Center, yeah?"
Yuka shook her head and then spoke up. "There was no un-nouns-ment, so that means mommy didn't go there yet."
"She does have a point." Sora agreed. "So that means that her mom is still waiting at this giant apple." The Keyblade wielder looked around a bit. "Which I still don't see yet."
"I don't even see any apples in this area, let alone a giant one." Kaminari complained.
"Don't stress the situation." Fumikage suggested. "If we too succumb to distress, then we'll be useless to Yuka in her search."
"Tokoyami is correct." Iida stated. "We need to stay as level headed as possible if we are to ensure Yuka's safe reunification with her mother."
Sora looked at the girl and then asked "Hey, Yuka. Do you see any apples?"
"She can barely see above our legs, Sora." Denki pointed out.
"I can see some apples, but they're not big enough." Yuka replied to Sora.

The boys looked at her when she said that and Sora spoke first. "You can see some apples?"
Tenya looked around. "Weird. I don't see any."
"Where are they?" Kaminari asked.
Yuka pointed towards where she saw them and when the boys looked, they all saw what she meant. There was a person selling red balloons at a stand nearby. Three out of the four boys almost immediately caught on, but Denki was a bit slow in figuring it out when he said "Silly Yuka. Those are balloons. Apples are fruit."
"You fail to see the point, Kaminari." Tokoyami stated.
"Heh. No wonder why were having so much trouble finding this giant apple." Sora spoke up. "We didn't know what she thought was and wasn't an apple."
"And now we have that information!" The class rep announced. "We may simply be looking for a round red object!"
"Don't forget that it's big." The Keyblade wielder added.
"Big, round and red?" Denki listed. "Have we seen anything like that."
Tokoyami suddenly remembered something and said "We have. This way." He then began to quickly pace towards the Forest Zone.
"Eh?" Yuka responded as she watched him go.
"Wait up Tokoyami!" Denki called out as he and Sora each took one of Yuka's hands and said. "Come on, Yuka. Let's go follow him."
As the four followed the bird headed boy through the Forest Zone, they realized where they were going and once they saw the big red sphere sculpture, the boys and Yuka also saw an anxious mother who looked very much like the little girl.
Sora and Denki let go of her hands and let her run to her mother. "Mommy!" She exclaimed, catching her mother's attention.
The mother dropped to her knees and embraced her daughter as she said "Oh Yuka! Where were you? You scared me half to death."
Yuka then told her mother about how the four boys went out of their way to help find her way here. After Tenya and Sora did a more thorough explanation of what happened, the mother ended up showering them with appreciation and apologies.
"We only did what was right ma'am." Fumikage told her. "There is no need to thank us."
"No getting lost again, okay Yuka?" Denki requested.
"Take care and have fun with you mom." Sora told her.
"Say thank you to the nice young men Yuka." Her mother instructed.
"Thanks, Misters!" She called out. Three of the four boys waved back at her, but then she ended up running towards them and called out "Mister Bird!"
Tokoyami, who was a bit surprised with this, looked back and responded "What is it?"
"Um..." She began. "Sorry for getting scared of you...You're way bigger than that other bitey bird, so I thought you were gonna eat me with that big beak."
Fumikage put a calm smile on his face as he reassured her that "You've no cause to worry about that, because my favorite food is apples."
"Speaking of apples," Kaminari chimed in. "That pie place is close by. How about we celebrate a successful family reunion with another slice of that apple pie?"
"I'm down for that. It can be my lunch for the day." Sora said.
"I wouldn't mind having a second portion of that pie." Tokoyami agreed.
"I could go for a bite myself." Iida stated. "Very well. We can do just that."
The four boys looked back at Yuka and her mother to see them waving the boys off. They waved back as they walked off to Forest Sweets to continue their day at the park. Once the boys got to their destination, they each got another slice of pie, as well as some other food to have as lunch while they were there, then they all dug in. After several minutes of eating, they all finally finished their food and drinks.
"Still just as delicious." Fumikage stated.
[Silence]
Tenya then suddenly remembered something and spoke up. "Ah. Have you all written your letters yet?"
"Oh yeah. That." Denki was the first to respond. "I jolted down some stuff, but do we really got to read them in front of our parents? What, they couldn't think of something more embarrassing for us?"
"Right. That's tomorrow, huh?" Sora quietly realized. "I...have an idea of what to write...I just..."
"You want to make sure it's perfect." Tokoyami guessed, noticing Sora's mood shift.
"Yeah." Sora said, just leaving it at that.
"That makes sense." Tenya acknowledged. "This is basically a golden opportunity to tell our families how much we appreciate them. Why, I've already penned 40 pages worth of gratitude."
"The hell?! I only wrote two!" Denki exclaimed.
"I wrote one." Fumikage stated.
"You managed to say all you needed with that little?" Iida asked them.
"You basically represent the whole class!" Kaminari commented, not realizing the unintentional joke he made. "We'd all love to hear yours. In fact, you should be the only one to read out loud."
The class rep shook his head and said "That would never do...though, I suppose that my 40 pages would eat into everyone else's time...Hmm...I'll need to make my thoughts more concise!"

As this conversation was happening, multiple security staff were rushing by, and the boys noticed. "Wonder what's going on." Sora said. Then there were multiple crashing sounds and a few screams that could be heard. Realizing that something was very wrong, the boys got up and ran to where the security staff were going.
The boys found out that the source of the commotions was coming from the haunted house attraction, which was now surrounded by security staff and a perimeter was being made. "Get back! Get back people!" One of the staff ordered.
"I think my baby is still in there!" A familiar female voice was heard. "Yuka didn't make it out!"
"Hey! That's Yuka's mother!" Tenya realized as the boys made their way over to her.
The mother turned and saw them "Oh, it's you boys..."
"What on earth is happening?" Denki asked her. "Is Yuka okay?"
She was on the verge of tears and she said "The two of us were walking through the haunted house...but then Yuka disappeared, and then the monster dolls, t-they..." Another crash was heard and then the mother looked back at the house. "Oh no! YUKA!" There wasn't an answer and then she began pleading with the staff to let her through.
"Just wait here ma'am." A staff member requested. "We're trying to..."
Another crash was heard, but this time something could be seen hovering around the entrance to the building. It was one of those dolls that the mother was talking about and it seemed to be wreaking havoc inside.
"What the..." Sora said, praying that it isn't heartless, but he couldn't see an emblem on the doll from this distance.
"What the hell is going on?!" Kaminari questioned, sounding a little terrified.
The staff members, though also terrified at what they're seeing, resumed holding the perimeter. "D-Do not approach the attraction people!" One of them instructed. "And ma'am, we've called in a Hero to deal with the situation, so please be patient."
"But my daughter!" She exclaimed, starting to have a meltdown.
Sora got to her and just did his best to keep her as calm as possible. But she was right to be worried. This park is a good distance away from the closest town, and there weren't any Hero agencies that were closer, so it would take a while for any Pro to show up.
Iida then had a determined glare on his face and said. "I will find your daughter ma'am. Don't worry."
The boys and her looked at him like he was crazy. Then Tokoyami spoke up. "Not so fast President. How do you plan on finding her?"
"By venturing inside, naturally." The class rep answered.
"We'd have to push through security to do that." Denki reminded him.
"Not necessarily." Tenya stated. "Just follow me."
As he began to leave the area, Kaminari and Fumikage went to follow, but Sora stayed back for a moment to do something. He looked Yuka's mother in the eyes and then said "Don't worry ma'am. I promise you, that we'll find Yuka and get her safely back to you...again."
"Please please do." She begged, as she watched Sora leave to catch up with the others.

After pushing through the crowd for a bit, the four boys managed to get to the rear of the house. Tenya began swiftly searching for something as he told his classmates "My brother once discovered a hidden passage. It was right around...aha! Here we are!" He pointed at a small window in the space of the back wall. "By my brother's honor, I swear that I never once exploited this secret! I only came upon it by accident once, when I tripped and fell inside." He began to fidget with the window. "If ever there were a time that such a thing could prove useful though...Gh...Mmh...Gah. The staff must have locked this."
"No problem." Sora said as he summoned Two Become One.
"Whoa! Dude, we can't just go breaking and entering!" Kaminari protested.
"...Ugh...KEYblade, Denki." Sora reminded him.
"Oh right." The blonde remembered, allowing Sora to beam the window to unlock it and open for them.
"Ok. It's open. I'm going in." Tenya said. "I'm going to ask for you three to stay here and..."
"Stand guard?" Kaminari finished. "There's no point to that. I'm coming with you."
"Seriously Kaminari?" Iida replied.
"If that little girl is still in there, then it's a race against time." Tokoyami pointed out. "And depending on what exactly is happening, you might need all the help you can get."
"Yeah." Sora agreed, before showing his right hand to Tenya. "And besides, you and I agreed to do these things together. I'm not gonna go back on my promise. Plus, you needed help getting the window open, and there might be more locked doors that need to be unlocked."
"Kaminari...Tokoyami...Sora...You're absolutely right! Time spent wavering is time we cannot get back! Let's go." The class rep instructed as he was the first one to enter, followed by Sora, then Denki, then Fumikage.

It took a moment for the four of them to realize that the house was very dark inside. Once their eyes got adjusted to the darkness, the destruction was obvious. Props and decorations were destroyed and scattered everywhere, and the four of them could hear the pitter patter of several little things and the destruction of anything close to said pitter patter echoing throughout the house.
"Jeez." Sora spoke up. "Don't all haunted houses usually have actual people in costumes as part of the attraction?"
"No." Iida explained. "This particular haunted house is meant for children, so the ghosts and monsters are all animatronic...Still, we did see that one at the entrance."
"Yeah. How was that thing moving on its own?" Kaminari questioned.
"I've got one guess, but I hope I'm wrong." Sora responded.
"A mystery that can be solved later." Tokoyami spoke up. "First, we need to find the girl."
"Right." Sora agreed.
[Silence]
"SHAAAAAAAAA!" A doll dropped from the ceiling and the noise caused Denki to jump back as it almost latched onto him, but Sora intercepted the doll by stabbing it in the body with his weapon. The things struggled and tried to reach for Sora, but it couldn't do anything as the Keyblade wielder inspected the thing for a moment.
"Huh...no emblem...but just to be sure." Sora then slammed the doll to the floor and drove the blade deeper into the doll until it was split in half. The top half moved, but the bottom didn't. Before it could escape, Sora destroyed the head with Two Become One and watched it go limp. He waited a few more seconds, but nothing happened. "Okay. My guess was wrong, and I am very glad that it was."
"What guess?" Tenya questioned.
"About what caused these things to move and do this stuff." Sora explained. "I guessed that some Heartless that could possess these things had shown up, but that clearly isn't the case."
"Wait. The Heartless can do that?" Kaminari asked.
"Some can." Sora answered. "But when the thing they possess gets destroyed, the Heartless would pop out of it. They also usually have an emblem on the thing they possess, and neither happened here."
"That still raises the question of what caused this." Iida stated.
"Like Fumikage said, Yuka comes first." Sora reminded him. "Finding out this mystery can come later."

"SHAAAAAAA!"
"KAAAAAAAA!"
"NGAAAAAAAA!"
Multiple dolls, puppets and animatronics suddenly sprang to life and began to make their way towards the group. Sora readied his blade and said "I think his friends are mad."
"Ya think?!" Kaminari remarked, very scared.
"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami summoned his Quirk.
"HAAAAA!" Dark Shadow roared as it began to tear through multiple puppets.
Sora slashed at a few animatronics that tried to close the distance as Dark Shadow entered the fray. "That evens the odds a bit." He said as he continued to take out some puppets.
Once the possessed things inside the light were dealt with, Dark Shadow moved on towards the ones in the darkness. As he did so, he grew in both size, and in power. "More...need more prey!"
"Wait, Dark Shadow!" Fumikage ordered, but the Quirk refused to follow his commands as it ruthlessly continued it's assault.
Sora was in the middle of fighting his own fight with some puppets, but then Dark Shadow blitzed towards him and the boy just barely jumped out of the way as the Quirk literally ripped apart the puppets like a feral animal. It also didn't help that Dark Shadow looked like a pureblood Heartless in the dark, only making the carnage in front of Sora more difficult to watch.
By the time Dark Shadow was done with its destruction, The room looked like a mass murderer had just been there, and to be frank, it's not an exaggeration, considering what Tokoyami's Quirk just did. "Jeez. Is he always like this in the dark? He's like a pet that tears apart furniture."
Sora then barely managed to see and dodge Dark Shadow lunging itself at him. "PET!?" The Quirk yelled out in anger.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me." The Keyblade wielder deadpanned for a second before he began to charge a keybeam to light up the room.
"We are EQUALS!" Dark Shadow blitzed towards Sora, forcing him to stop charging the Keyblade and once again barely get out of the way.
"Whoa! He's fast!" Sora exclaimed. "I guess everything gets buffed in the dark!" The boy barely dodged another attack as he ended up rolling towards the others.
"Some light Kaminari!" Tenya shouted.
"R-Right!" The blonde replied as he lit himself and the area around the boys up with his electricity, glowing on his body.
[Silence]
"KYAAA!" Dark Shadow yelped as it shrunk in size until it was back to normal.
Sora sighed in slight relief as he got back up. "Thanks Denki. I didn't have time to make my own."
"Well done Kaminari!" Iida complimented. "Keep that up for now, as your light will make our search for Yuka all the easier."
"Gocha." Denki replied.
"Too much light..." Dark Shadow whined.
"Endure it, you." Tokoyami ordered.

"Where are you Yuka?" Tenya called out. "If you're there, give us a sign!"
There was no response, and that was very unsettling. "I do not like the silence." Sora commented.
"Maybe she got out during all the confusion and got lost in the park again?" Denki hypothesized.
"She's here." Dark Shadow said.
"You sure?" Fumikage asked.
"She's scared. Hiding in the dark." The Quirk explained.
"Wait...how do you know that?" Sora asked.
"Can you sense where she is?" Tokoyami questioned.
"This way." Dark Shadow guided them through the now silent halls until they reached a well. In front of the well was the giraffe ears she wore from earlier.
"Wasn't Yuka wearing those earlier?" Iida remembered.
"She's in the well." Dark Shadow stated.
The boys looked inside, but her body wasn't there. "You messing with us?" Denki said.
"No." The Quirk stated.
"Maybe her Quirk manifested?" Fumikage guessed.
"Yuka's you mean?" Tenya questioned.
"Yes." The bird boy answered. "Maybe she can enter the dark and control objects inside that same darkness. That would explain her disappearance, the destruction in here, everything."
"That could be it." Sora replied. "But if that's true, then how do we get her out of it?"
Tenya tried something. "Hey Yuka! You'll be just fine! Come out now!" There was no response.
"If she just got her Quirk, I don't think she knows how to control it." Sora pointed out.
"She's probably panicking. Everyone gets freaked out when their Quirk manifests, right?" Kaminari pointed out. "When it first happened to me, I shocked myself silly and couldn't think straight for a single dayyyyayy." He was starting to reach his limit.
"Uh oh." Sora said. "Just hold that light for a bit longer Denki. But he is right. Poor girl is probably terrified and doesn't know what to do."

"Allow me to try something." Tokoyami looked into the well and then spoke once more. "Calm yourself. Pacify your soul, and become aware of your own consciousness. Then emerge from the darkness."
"Heyyyyayy Tokoyami. You're talking to a little kid. Remember?" The electric student reminded him.
"Explain it in a more digestible way Tokoyami." Iida instructed. "You're entirely too stiff! Too formal!"
"That's ironic coming from you Tenya." Sora commented. "But he is right. Keep it short and simple. Maybe try to guide her to you?"
Fumikage thought about what to do for a moment, then he stuck his hand inside the well. "Yuka. Take my hand." He said.
At first nothing happened, but then a small, faded, ghostly hand had emerged from inside the well and reached out from the darkness. It felt its way around the area until it managed to find Tokoyami's hand and grasp it. The bird boy gripped the hand and pulled it, pulling Yuka out of the darkness and into him.
"Mister Bird." She recognized him.
"You'll be okay now." Fumikage assured her.
The other three boys rejoiced at their success, then Iida spoke up. "Your mother is worried sick about you! We must show her that you're alright!" But Yuka shook her head. "And why not?"
"Mommy got so scared...I did too..." She said as she was about to cry. "I hate the dark when I'm alone."
Tokoyami then spoke to her once more. "The darkness of this place revealed your true nature. That is neither something to fear, nor feel ashamed about."
"Too wordy man!" Denki commented, seriously getting close to short circuiting.
Fumikage then tried to reiterate what he said. "What I meant to say is...is..."
Dark Shadow then stepped in. "The dark is your friend!"
"Dark Shadow!" The bird boy scolded his Quirk, knowing her fear of birds.
"...Who's...that?" Yuka asked, a bit scared, but also curious.
"This happens to be my Quirk." Tokoyami told her. The girl at first was scared of it, but then she approached it. "You're...not scared of it Yuka?"
"Not if it's your friend." She answered. "I'm not scared of you anymore either Mister Bird."
Fumikage as well as the other boys smiled at that as he said "Glad to hear it."
"Friends...Friends. I made friends!" Yuka began to cheer as the boys sighed in relief and all deactivated their Quirks, or in Sora's case, unsummon his Keyblade.
"Shall we be off then?" Tenya requested, prompting the others to agree and leave the house together. Yuka took Fumikage's hand and she let him guide her out with the others.

As the five exited through the front, the Hero that was called in had just arrived. Thankfully, Iida was able to explain the whole situation and the park staff said that everything would be covered, thanks to Quirk Insurance (Yes. That is a thing.) After that, the boys once again reunited Yuka with her mother.
"I don't know what to say." The mother told them. "This makes it twice now you boys have rescued my little Yuka. Please, allow me to properly repay you boys."
"No thanks necessary." Tenya told her.
"Yeah. I mean, this is gonna be what we do for a living in a few years, right?" Sora pointed out.
"Correct." Tokoyami stated. "As U.A. students and aspiring Heroes, we did what we had to do. Think nothing of it ma'am."
After the mother heard that, she placed her hands on her daughter's shoulders and said "These wonderful young men are your future Heroes Yuka."
"Thanks again Misters!" She said as she bowed. But then after that, she ran up to Fumikage.
"What's the matter?" The bird boy wondered.
Yuka was blushing quite a bit as she then confessed. "You're a Prince Charming Mister Bird. I love you!"
Tokoyami's lower beak dropped, Sora smiled and then got a few ideas in his head and the mother said "Oh my."
"Wow. Talk about a confession." Denki commented.
"Is that how you feel Yuka?" Iida began to lecture her. "It's a bit early for romance though. Once you're all grown up, you'll first need permission from your parents to date. Of course you might want to ask Tokoyami's parents as well."
"Okay. I'm gonna remember all that." She promised as she and her mother walked off. "Bye bye Mister Bird!"
As those two left, Sora tapped the class reps shoulder. "Tenya! Where are your manners?"
"Huh?" Iida was confused.
"Is that any way to address royalty?" The Keyblade wielder exclaimed, which caused everyone to look at him. Then he pointed at Fumikage "He is now going to be addressed as 'The Bird Prince of The Dark' Tokoyami!"
Fumikage tensed up, while Iida and Kaminari both covered their mouths, trying not to burst into laughter. "Sora...stop." The bird boy grunted.
Sora then did a bow and said. "Apologies, your majesty. I only wished you the highest respect." He kept the act on. "Especially in front of the princess."
Tenya and Denki couldn't hold it back, and they both burst out laughing while Tokoyami was most likely blushing out of embarrassment. This was definitely a fun day.
And that finished the Amusement Park Chapter of School Briefs. Unlike before, there was no attempts at a reverse pick up, so I had to make another excuse for Denki to run into Yuka, and it was simple. Sora, who is the most approachable person on any world he visits, takes Kaminari to a restroom to clean his mouth, Only physically though. If only Sora could figuratively clean his foul mouth, then we wouldn't have two perverts in 1-A. At least Denki isn't as desperate as Minoru though. Also, Sora and Fumikage had a bonding moment, as well. Not just before, but also during the time at the park. Not only that, but we also get to see Sora with another kid. The last one was Boo, and now Sora helped Yuka. But of course, her hearts belongs to 'The Bird Prince of The Dark,' Tokoyami. Now that this chapter is out of the way, all that is left in the School Briefs book is the Parents Day chapter, with a mention of the girls chapter at the beginning of that one. After that comes the Zombie OVA, then I finally get to write the Final Exams Ark, which is the most dramatically changed ark in this Story right now. Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, and until I decide to upload again. ;)
