Chapter 46
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Threat Incoming]
Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo were now inside the datascape. They were generated inside a data recreation of Ground Beta. The two stood there, simply waiting for the announcement, however both had a very different mood.
Katsuki was angry, as per usual. He was completely disinterested in working with his assigned partner, especially considering what he saw back at Ground Gamma. He clenched his fist at the memory of his moves being copied by someone he clearly did not like.
Izuku was nervous, as he should be. He saw just how strong each member of the Organization was during the other students' matches, and he already had a feeling that their opponent was going to be incredibly strong. Especially when All Might himself said that the man was powerful.
Elsewhere in the datascape, Saix was generated and already knew what he was supposed to do. He was given orders to hunt down two people that were in this area and prevent their escape through the gate that was behind him. It should be an easy task for him, considering what he can do. He summoned his claymore and spread his arms. "Moon, shine down."
Then the announcement went off "Team Midoriya and Bakugo. Practical exam. Ready? Go!" Katsuki walked forward, determined to win this his own way. while Izuku watched him, unsure of what to say or do at the moment.
[Silence]
Izuku followed his partner, still a bit unsure if he should even talk to him. But considering what little he could get from the situation, there was no way that either of them could do this themselves. He approached Katsuki. "Kacchan...listen. For this exam we're a team of Heroes fighting a Powerful member of a Villain Organization, so we need a solid plan. Normally, I'd suggest that we analyze the Villain's combat ability and choose to fight them or run away, based on that. But I remember All Might calling our opponent powerful, and coming from him, that means this guy has to be on par with him." The One For All user pointed out. "If so, then combat is out of the question, because anyone on par with All Might would be impossible to beat with our current power and skillset." Bakugo began to walk faster to get out of this conversation, but Midoriya picked up the pace to stay with him. "It's a really bad idea Kacchan."
"Stop following me!" Katsuki ordered as he continued to walk forward.
Izuku had briefly stopped for a moment, before going back to his uncooperative partner's side, trying to talk strategy with him. "Our opponent is probably waiting for us on this main road. We should take another route."
"I'm not gonna run away from this fight." Bakugo aggressively stated. "It'll look better if we beat that Villain's face black and blue."
"No. We should avoid fighting him no matter what it takes." Midoriya protested.
"I'm gonna toy with him until time is almost up, and then knock him unconscious for real!" Katsuki barked out his plan as he continued to walk forward and away from his partner, completely unwilling to come to a compromise.
Izuku knew that this was going to be difficult, but he really didn't have time to try and compromise with him, so he continued to push for his idea, in spite of knowing that Bakugo will not like it. He ran forward to catch up again. "Think about this! You don't know what this guy can do, and I've been watching all of our classmates lose by a landslide or barely manage to win through luck! This fight won't be any different! Even with the handicaps they have, it's impossible for you to win in a one on one fight against..."

The explosive student turned around and hit him in the face with his gauntlet, knocking the green haired boy down. "I don't want to hear another word." Bakugo threatened Midoriya. "Just because you think you're getting stronger, doesn't mean you get to tell me what to do."
Back in the real world all of the students were surprised and a few were angered at that sudden action. Sora, Tenya, Shoto and Ochako did not like seeing Izuku get hurt, much less by Katsuki. Momo, Tsuyu and Toru half expected something like this, but they still weren't happy about it. The teachers and principal looked disappointed, but also expected something like this to happen. "Oh dear. There's absolutely no teamwork between those two." Recovery Girl pointed out. "Don't they realize the trial ahead of them?"
Back in the datascape, Saix seemed to float in the air as his claymore floated behind him. He roared as he began to glow purple and the spikes on Lunatic grew in size and glowed a burning blue. He landed on the ground, now ready to fight. He grabbed the spiked claymore and jumped into the air, rearing his arms back as he got ready to throw the weapon.
Back with the two boys, Midoriya yelled at his partner. "WAIT KACCHAN! All I'm trying to do is get us to pass the final! This is for BOTH of us!"
Bakugo turned his head and yelled back at him. "I TOLD YOU WE DON'T NEED YOUR DUMB POWER TO PASS! I CAN WIN IT ALL BY MYSELF!"
"WOULD YOU STOP YELLING!?" Izuku aggressively ordered him. "THIS IS WHY WE NEVER HAVE REAL CONVERSATIONS!"
[Silence]
Suddenly, there was a loud boom and the two boys stopped yelling at each other to see what was coming. It was a spiked claymore and as it reached the ground that they were standing on, the shockwave it created from the sheer force of who threw it blasted them back a good distance, while simultaneously destroying the entire main road and a majority of the buildings that were on that road.
Katsuki got himself back to his feet while Midoriya was only up to his knees, still shocked at what just happened. The two heard footsteps and then saw the claymore pull itself out of the ground it was embedded in and vanish, only to reappear in the hands of Saix, who walked to the pair and said. "You're both targets of the Organization. In its name, I will eliminate you." He said in a deadly serious tone.
Both boys had the exact same thought. How is he so...intimidating.
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST I'm Seriously Going to Crush You]
Saix swung Lunatac in front of him, making another shockwave that cleared out the dust from all the destruction he just caused. The two students had braced in order to not be flung a second time, and they barely managed to resist the shockwave. "Wipe those scared looks off your faces." He got into his battle stance. "I want to see you die fighting."
Back in the real world, Present Mic announced the opponent. "The Luna Divider, Saix! His Quirk, Berserk! He absorbs lunar rays from the light reflected on the moon to power himself up to the extreme, at the cost of his morality and eventually sanity! He's like a werewolf, minus the wolf part!"
Izuku immediately knew that his guess on Saix's power was true. "It's over if we fight him head on." He got himself up. "Let's run!"
"Don't tell me what to do!" Bakugo yelled out. Saix ran towards the explosive boy, who defiantly stood his ground, in spite of his partner's protest. He made the first move. "How about a stun grenade!?" He did his 'stun grenade' special attack and The Organization Member temporarily stopped his charge, due to being blinded. "You want me to fight you?" Katsuki pounced into the air. "Like that wasn't my plan! I never.."
The Luna divider could hear where he was and grabbed the boys face before he could finish talking. He could feel the boy muffling in his hand before he regained his eyesight and saw one of the boy's hands in front of his face and the other in front of his stomach. They began to light up and let out a series of explosions at those areas, much to his annoyance. Siax swung the boy by the face and slammed him hard into the ground, which really hurt the boy.
"You're far too lax. And your light explosive palms are too weak to phase me." He stated before he turned around to see the other boy frozen in shock. "And you." Saix began to walk towards the petrified boy as he continued to speak. "If you're going to flee, then you should have done so while the other boy was still continuous, at least then, you would have had him be a diversion while he dies in your place."
Katsuki managed to get back onto his feet and got himself airborne with his Quirk, ready to attack again. Saix already knew this was coming and had already had an idea on what to do.
Midoriya felt the exact same fear he did when he encountered the Hero Killer. When he attempted to turn around, Saix was already there. He activated full cowling and used it to jump back high in the air, unintentionally in Bakugo way. "Huh? MOVE IT!" the explosive boy ordered.
Izuku looked back and saw his partner heading towards him. "Kacchan?!" He realized his mistake but it was too late as they hit each other and they both hit the ground.
Back in the real world, the teachers, principal, Recovery Girl, and Moogle understood the situation. One of the students was solely focused on wanting to fight and beat Siax, while the other was only thinking about running away. They were present when Sora first tested Saix. It was a miracle that the Keyblade wielder wasn't crippled after the times he failed beating him.
While Sora beat many on his first try, there were a few people that he lost against and had to try again on another day. Saix was one of them, as it took Sora five tries to beat him, and Sora only won by sheer luck. What's even more scary is that he was only the second hardest, as Roxas took a week. Even with the handicaps placed on them, Saix was still going to be one of the hardest members to beat.
[Silence]
Back in the datascape, Katsuki got back to his feet first and walked towards his opponent, while Midoriya got himself back to his feet and spoke up again. "Kacchan!"
"Out of the way." Bakugo ordered.
"Haven't you been listening to me? It'd be insane to fight him head on!" Izuko protested.
"Shut up, scum." Katsuki responded as he continued forward, determined. "I WILL win this." He walked past his partner. "That's what it means...to be a hero, Deku."
Midoriya seemed to realize something, then he got to his partner and grabbed his shoulder. "At the very least we should be trying to avoid him."
"Get your hands off of me!" Bakugo demanded.
[Play KH3 OST Rogue Pawn -cutscene-]
"Fools!" Saix said out loud as he jumped into the air and came right towards them. "There is no escape!" He roared out as he slammed the claymore down on the One For All user, pinning the boy to the ground. Before the explosive boy could retaliate, Saix punched him hard in the gut and sent him flying. Whilst in the air, Katsuki ended up involuntarily vomiting from the force, then he hit and bounced off the ground a few times until he slid to a halt.
"KACHANN! ARE YOU OKAY!?" Izuku called out to his partner, clearly concerned for him. Bakugo struggled to get up, but he still tried to nonetheless.
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Evil of Psychology]
Back in the real world, it was hard to watch for most of the students. To them, Saix seemed to be like an unstoppable force in this state. At this current moment, it reminded Uraraka of Lexaeus and what he did to Ejiro and Rikido during their exam, so it troubled her even more, because it felt like a repeat of that exact scenario, just with different people.
Sora already knew that this would be a challenge for the two, but he wasn't expecting Saix to curb stomp them this early on. Sure, he barely managed to beat Data Saix, but he only had real trouble when the Organization Member went to the second stage of Berserk, not the first.
The adults and Moogle were also genuinely surprised at how powerful Saix still was, even with the handicap he was given. While they knew he wouldn't kill the boys, they weren't entirely sure if either one was going to be able to fully recover from this afterwards.
Back in the Datascape, Midoriya struggled to push himself up, but the claymore was jammed into the ground and wasn't going to go anywhere without some serious force. He watched as his partner got himself back up, but stayed in place.
Saix walked to the boy. "I don't need a heart to know how you're feeling." He said. "You're angry about working with that boy. I believe you called him Deku. Regardless if it's because you dislike his methods, or believe yourself superior to him makes no difference. If your purpose is to be victory incarnate, then you're wasting your time trying to do this alone. You cannot stop me by yourself, and there will always be someone that is stronger than you."
"...Shut up...you fucker..." Bakugo weakly growled. "If I'm so bad that I have to get help from a weakling like him...then I'd rather lose this...Do you hear me?"
Izuku was frozen in shock to hear what just came out of Katsuki's mouth. He'd rather lose than accept help from others, even if it helped him achieve his goal of being the embodiment of victory. The One For All user's full cowling was activated and he had an angry look in his eyes.
Saix could see in the fire in the blonde's eyes die out almost completely. "You've lost sight of your true purpose." He stated, before he summoned Lunatic and raised it above his head, ready to strike the boy down. "Very well then. I will grant you your destruction."
As Bakugo mentally cursed himself for his weakness, he suddenly felt a fist make contact with his cheek, literally getting punched back into reality.
[Silence]
Midoriya had punched his own teammate, after getting back onto his feet when Saix called back his claymore to attack his partner. It actually surprised the Organization member, because he thought he used another one, only to realize that he instead used the same one. Could he not summon the other four he had until he was in the second berserk state?
"DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT YOU'D RATHER LOSE!" Izuku reprimanded Katsuki. "LET'S WIN THIS KACCHAN!" As Midoriya said that, he grabbed Bakugo and quickly fled with him to the closest alleyway.
Saix didn't give chase. "Hm...Those two remind me of myself and Lea. Only our friendship wasn't an unhealthy one...at least at that age." He then placed Lunatic on the ground and extended his hand out, concentrating on trying to call out another one, but instead, he once again only called back the claymore he already had out. "Strange...it seems my powers have been restricted." He then tried to tap into his second berserk state, only to realize that he somehow has only built up half the energy required to activate it. "It shouldn't take me this long to reach my second state...My powers are drastically restricted."
In the alleyway, Izuku was still running while holding onto Katsuki. "Drop me, you bastard."
"I've got you." Midoriya stated, as he continued to run.
"I told you to put me down damn it!" Bakugo demanded as he elbowed his partner in the head, causing them both to fall to the ground.
They each leaned on a side in the alleyway, both taking a minute to breathe, then Izuku spoke to his partner. "Kacchan...I really can't think of a way for us to beat that guy...or to make a clean getaway without him finding and stopping us."
"Huh?" Katsuki responded.
"But before you give up, we can at least try using my power." Midoriya suggested. "You can't say you're okay with losing! You're you because you never give in. You're always fighting. 'The most amazing Hero always wins.' You've been saying those words since we were little kids." Bakugo growled as he continued. "How can you give up now?"
The explosive boy roared as he turned to his partner and swung towards him, only to explode a part of the wall right next to Izuku. Katsuki then spoke to him. "I won't say it again, so listen...you useless nerd...Our opponent's destructive power is insane, so no matter where you run or hide, he can just destroy that entire section of the city with a toss of his weapon, so there's no way you'll avoid fighting him."
"Yeah but, we don't stand a chance in combat." Izuku reminded him. "I mean you saw him back there."
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST The Power of Endeavor]
"Shut the hell up before I KILL you!" Bakugo ordered. "He won't be stopped by anything less than a full power attack. I learned that earlier with my mini blasts...So..." He then took off one of his gauntlets and told Midoriya his plan.
Back at the destroyed main street, Saix was running towards the exit, expecting the two to make a break for it. As he was running, he was very slowly charging his berserk and it was about two thirds finished. "If I don't see them at the exit, then I'll just destroy the area until I find them."
As if it was on cue, Katsuki, who only had one of his gauntlets came out of the alleyway he just passed, yelling "You're going the wrong way!"
"I see you've still got some fight in you." The Luna Divider commented as he turned to face the boy.
Bakugo blasted his face with a smokescreen and backed away when Saix took a swing at him. He backed up even more when the blue haired man began to try and close the distance. Once he passed the alleyway again, the explosive boy reluctantly screamed out, "DEKU!" Izuku came out of the alleyway and was wearing the other gauntlet and pointed it directly at Saix, with his finger on the pin that releases the ultimate attack that is stored inside the gauntlet. The Organization member turned around as the explosive boy blasted himself out of the way. "SHOOT NOOOOOOOW!"
"We're not gonna lose to you!" Izuku stated as he pulled the pin and released the ultimate attack inside at point blank range. Saix couldn't move out of the way in time and took the full brunt of that massive attack, causing him to be pushed back a bit and feel some pain from that.
As that happened, Midoriya was pushed back a bit as well from the force, even straining his shoulder from the attack as he realized just how powerful this was. He also realized and questioned how his partner regularly uses this. Speaking of him, said partner flew overhead and yelled out "Run you idiot!"
"Oh! Right!" Midoriya remembered and he used full cowling to keep up with his partner. The two then made a break for the exit, leaving Saix in the dust.
The Organization member was actually on one of his knees from that attack, and it actually surprised him. "Ngh...that's all?...A hit and run is their strategy?" He got back to his feet and then felt a surge of power flow into him. Thanks to that blast, it gave him the power he needed. He spread his arms out. "Not a bad strategy, unfortunately for them..." Lunatic hovered behind him as he began to float in the air. "I call on the moon's pale light!" He tapped into his second state of Berserk and said "This fight is over."

As the two boys were running, Izuku pointed something out. "We're almost there, we just have to make it to the gate. It looks kind of ridiculous but if we can get through it, we pass the final exam." As they kept moving, the One For All user noticed something. "It doesn't look like that guy chasing us...Don't tell me we actually knocked him out back there."
"Of course not!" Katsuki replied to him. "You're the one who keeps crying about how it's impossible to actually BEAT him! There's no way that attack K. him. It pushed him back at best. When he catches up to us, it'll be MY turn to blast him to hell with a gauntlet."
The two boys were then surprised to see Saix's claymore rush past them and hit the floor by the exit, making an even more powerful shockwave that stopped their movements and made them brace in order to barely not be flung back again. "BE GONE!" The Luna Divider roared out as the two boys turned around to see two more claymores coming their direction.
Bakugo swung his arm around and attempted to pull the pin, but one of the claymores hit and shattered the gauntlet, making a shockwave that blasted him back a few feet. Midoriya was so focused on his partner that he failed to keep his gauntlet intact, as the other claymore had hit it and blasted him back a few feet too. "He has more than one of these?!" He realized.
Saix then came into view, holding one more in his hand while another orbited around his body. "ABANDON HOPE!" he yelled out as he used the claymore hovering around him to attack Katsuki, striking him in the stomach and charging into the side of a building.
"KACCHAN!" Izuku exclaimed as he recovered and attempted to go to his ally, only to get grabbed by Saix and held by his wrist.
Bakugo blasted himself out of the building as he screamed out "DIE YOU RAGING BASTARD!"
Saix then used Midoriya's body as a weapon and slammed the boy into his partner when he was close enough. As Bakugo was on the ground, The Luna Divider stepped on his back to keep him there, while still holding the other boy in his hand.
Back in the real world, all the students watching were tensed up, even when the two worked together, Saix still managed to curb stomp them. It was like watching a movie where the villain is all powerful and the Heroes aren't nearly strong enough to win.
Back in the datascape, Saix spoke up. "You hurt me back there. I will admit that when you two worked together, you actually managed to damage me with those gauntlets. But that was before I was at full strength."
Both boys then immediately realized their situation. This Organization member has overwhelming strength and speed that neither could hope to match, especially when he's at full strength. He wasn't just powerful, he was Power. It was a terrifying thought for both of them, because it meant that what All Might said before the exams started was more than true. This guy was probably even stronger than the Nomu at U.S.J. was.
Izuku struggled to break free and cursed "Damn it!..."
"You cannot stop me." The Luna Divider told them as he threw Midoriya to the ground, and kept his foot on Katsuki.
[Silence]
"You're far from the first person to try the hit and run tactic against me." Saix told them. "I will commend you however on managing to actually push me back with that last attack. But now that your weapons are shattered, so are your hopes of victory. It's over."
Bakugo was pissed off and turned his hand so his palm faced the blue haired man. "SHUT! UUUUP!"
[Play KH3 Re Mind OST The 13th Dilemma ~Saix Ver.~]
As Saix looked down, he was suddenly pushed off the boy as a massive explosion erupted from his palm, making the blue haired man drop his claymore as well. The Luna Divider was launched into the air from the force, genuinely surprised and a bit angered that the explosive boy still had power in him. The boy however, grunted in pain.
In the dust created from the explosion, Izuku was grabbed by Katsuki and was told "Get ready to fly!" Then he got ready to throw his partner as he stated "I don't like the idea of running, but with the crap fest we're in right now, this is the only way to pass the practical!"
"Hey wait! What are you doing?!" Midoriya exclaimed.
"NOW DIIIIIIIIIIIE!" Bakugo screamed out before he used his explosion quirk to launch Izuku into the air, once again grunting in pain.
Midoriya screamed, freaking out as he was launched towards the gate, but then he looked back and saw that Saix was in the air and his claymores were scattered. This was his chance to make it.
The boys' hopes were misplaced however as Saix called back all five Lunatic claymores and then threw one of them at Izuku, while the other four would follow it as well. The first one hit its mark and almost broke Midoriya's spine as he screamed in agony. And was struck way off course as he hit a bus and landed hard on the ground afterwards.
"Damn it!" Katsuki cursed before he got in front of his partner and once again created a huge explosion, pushing the other four claymores off their course. Then he blasted his way directly towards the charging berserker, his veins starting to bulge from the attacks "Those gauntlets were only so I could use maximum firepower with no risk, but now I see that was stupid. If I don't take any risks, then there's no way I can beat you, JUST LIKE ALL HEROES!" He then sent out another huge blast directly at Saix, who took it head on.
Saix was now focused on Bakugo as he roared out "MOVE ASIDE!" charging him and attempting a downward strike. The explosive boy dodged the attack and watched as it shattered the ground underneath, creating a slight tremor.
"MAKE ME YOU FUCKER!" Katsuki roared back as he got back in front of the Organization Member and let loose another full power blast, taking advantage of the adrenaline boost he was getting from this extreme situation. As this was happening, Izuku was watching and was very worried about his teammate, until he screamed out "DEKU GO! HURRY UUUP!" He kept up the pressure as he continued to give orders to Midoriya. "I can still move better than you! Even if you are learning to use your pathetic power, at least try to make yourself useful!" Saix came bursting through the smoke as he screamed "YOU MORON!" using another full power blast to push him back a bit.
Izuku managed to get himself back to his feet, but he could barely walk because of what happened to his back. Even so, he knew that he had to make it to the exit. He had to fight through the pain, just like his partner was doing. No excuses. He forced himself to move towards the exit, using full cowling to move slightly faster.
The Luna Divider let out a rageful scream as he yelled out "ALL SHALL BE LOST TO YOU!" And he began to spin and smash the ground around him, giving chase to Bakugo, who was fighting through his pain to avoid the destruction and tremors that were being made by this man. The other four claymores were also smashing the ground as well, making even more destruction as he smashed his way to the blonde boy.
Katsuki then saw one of the claymores come after him and he used another full power blast to send it away. He then concentrated on evading Saix as much as he possibly could, but it was the most difficult thing he could ever do, because of the shockwaves, tremors, the pain he was feeling, and the fact that no matter how many time he used a full power blast, the Organization member just wouldn't go down.
Another claymore was thrown at him and he blasted it away as well, before going back to avoiding Saix's charge. The ground around the two was now just debris from the buildings and broken pieces of concrete and rock from all the smashing. Another claymore was thrown and Bakugo once again blasted it off course. Now the pain was starting to kick in again. Even with all this adrenaline running through him, he couldn't hold off the pain forever, especially since he was constantly using his Quirk at a dangerous level, just to keep up right now.
Another claymore was thrown, but this time it was towards Midoriya, who didn't see it coming. Thankfully for him though, Katsuki had his back covered as he blitzed towards him and used another full power blast to knock it away. Saix followed suit, but Bakugo couldn't just dodge it, or else Izuku would get hit, so he used both his hands to make two full powered blasts to just barely push the Luna Divider off course.
Katsuki once again went back into the combat and put more pressure on, but he could only do so much now. He was getting dangerously close to destroying his arms from overusing his explosions, but Saix still kept coming, throwing the fourth claymore at Midoriya and making Bakugo blitz over to protect him yet again, blasting the claymore away, and then preparing himself to once again push the Luna Divider off course.
Katsuki screamed in agony when he let out another pair of full power blasts to try and push Saix off course, but the Luna Divider jumped over the attack and then landed next to the explosive boy, before grabbing his face and slamming him hard enough into the ground to make a small crater.
[Silence]
Izuku was almost at the exit, but once the explosions stopped, so did he, as he turned his head around, fearing the worst. He saw Saix standing over Bakugo, with his hand on the boy's face and the other holding Lunatic up, ready to strike if the explosive boy tried anything. "I misjudged you. That fighting spirit in your heart...it's stronger than I anticipated. But now it's over."
Katsuki grabbed the man's forearm and tried to use his quirk, but only smoke came out now. He physically couldn't make any more explosions, but that didn't stop him from trying. "Hurry up..." He uttered out. "...go...you damn nerd..."
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST The Threat Will Go]
Saix was actually surprised to see this much drive from someone other than Sora. Bakugo then spoke directly to him, still trying to fight with his quirk. "I'll keep fighting...I'll break myself...even if there's nothing left of me...I will win the way I want to...I'll destroy myself before I accept defeat at your hands..." He then bit onto Saix's hand, even though the Luna Divider didn't feel anything from it. "You got that..." He then watched as the boy finally lost consciousness.
Siax stood up, seeming to be taken aback by the boy's willingness to literally destroy himself to achieve his goal. It strongly reminded him of Axel and when he killed himself to save Sora. Then he remembered that there was a second student he had to deal with but when he turned around, Midoriya was right there, with his fist reared back. The boy looked directly into the Luna Divider's eyes, and had a smile on his face as he said. "You're going to get out of the way...move it you!"
Izuku landed a punch on the man's cheek, but he didn't flinch at all. "You idiot." Saix said as he reared Lunatic back and got ready to finish the boy, but then he suddenly lost all of his power and got a serious migraine. "AGH! Ahhhh!" He stumbled back and held his head with his free hand, jamming his no longer powered up claymore into the ground, while the other four claymores vanished. "This...This early?" He uttered out.
Midoriya didn't stick around to figure out what happened to him and just grabbed his unconscious partner and went for the exit.
In the real world, Sora was the one who realized what happened first. "His Quirk timed out! They can make for the exit!"
"Now's their chance!" Ochako realized.
"They can't waste it!" Iida stated.
"They'll both get through!" Asui added.
"And they'll pass together." Todoroki concluded.
Back in the datascape, Saix watched as the Green haired boy came back for his friend, carrying that same determined grin that he had back when he and Lea were still human, Even though he had a migraine right now, he couldn't help but smile and watch as the two ran through the gate. Then he watched them disappear and the world around him turn into numbers, as he himself did the same.
The announcement went off "Team Midoriya and Bakugo have passed the finals!"
Ochako and Tsuyu were holding hands and overjoyed to see them pass the finals. Yaoyorozu and Tenya both had wide smiles on their faces, both proud to see those two overcome what was basically impossible odds. Shoto had a small smile on his face, as he was also proud of the two of them, but he could keep his emotions in check. And lastly, Sora was literally cheering their victory, as he was overjoyed to watch his friend do something that amazing.
The two boys then were back in the real world, and all the students stopped their cheering and immediately went to help the pair get to the temporary nurse's office, with Recovery Girl swiftly following suit to immediately treat them.

"Now that the 1-A matches are over, it's time to move onto 1-B, Kupo." Moogle stated.
"Right." Vlad King responded as he went to the console and was given a mic to speak into. "Tetsutetsu, Tsuburaba. You're up. Get in here and show the others how much you can kick ass."
"Wait." Uraraka wondered something. "Just like that, we're going to the next match? No lecture from Mr. Aizawa about how we did?"
"There's nothing to tell you that I haven't already said. If you forgot, it's your own fault." The 1-A homeroom teacher replied to her. "And your results will speak for themselves."
After that was said, the next pair of students to take their exams came through the door. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu and Kosei Tsuburaba saw the peoplw in the room and while Kosei decided to just walk to the platform. Tetsutetsu went over to Sora for a brief moment. "I see you and your classmates are here to watch us crush this."
"While I can say I'm here to watch but..." Sora began, sounding a bit concerned. "Just make sure that you stay focused. Xemnas is...tough."
"Seriously?" Tetsutetsu questioned. "How tough can he be?"
"Talk after the exam is over." Vlad King stated, making the steel quirked student head over to the platform The two were beginning to see numbers as they were being transported into the datascape.
"Hey, Tetsutetsu." The Keyblade wielder called Tetsutetsu's attention before pulling down the collar of his shirt and jacket to show the burn marks on the base of his neck. "He's this tough." Before the steel quirked student could respond to that, he and Tsuburaba were already sent into the datascape.
Ochako, Tenya and Shoto all seemed to have a reaction to the name, but while the girl couldn't quite figure out why, the two boys remembered, due to recently being reminded of him by Sora, back at the hospital in Hosu. Uraraka though, still couldn't remember where she heard that name and asked out loud. "Where have I heard that name?"
"I told you and Tenya about him back when you asked why I wanted to be a Hero." Sora reminded her.
"Oh yeah." She remembered. "So we get to see what he looks like, now."
"Sorry, I'm confused." Momo spoke up. "How do you seem to already know this Xemnas person?"
"Sora had told us about how he encountered Xemnas a long time ago." Iida explained to Yaoyorozu.
"Really?" Asui also spoke. "What happened?"
"Well...long story short, he kidnapped one of my friends and I went to rescue her, when I ran into him, he and I fought and he did this to me." Sora explained as he showed his classmates the burn marks on the base of his neck.
All of the students except Todoroki were surprised to hear that their friend got that from Xemnas. But the Ice user then remembered something else. "There's one thing that I'm now wondering though. You said that Xemnas was the leader of this Organization, yet Present Mic said that Xehanort was the leader."
"I said that Xemnas was the leader at the time that I ran into him." Sora pointed out. "Xehanort took his place after that incident and Xemnas became Xehanort's second in command."
"...I guess that makes sense." Shoto understood that logic.
Now with everyone in the room caught up, they watched as the first 1-B practical exam was about to begin.

The 1-B Students had materialized and the first thing they did was assess their location. Since there were buildings all around, it was safe to assume that they were inside a data Mock Cityscape. Tetsutetsu was the first to speak up. "An urban environment. 'Great.' Plenty of places for the guy to hide."
"Or for us to create an ambush." Kosei pointed out. "Remember. The whole class trained on these grounds before. We got a home field advantage."
"Good point Tsuburaba." Tetsutetsu replied before slamming his fists together. "Knowing the local will make it way easier to find this guy and kick his ass."
"Hey. Don't forget. That's not the whole plan." Kosei reminded his partner.
"Yeah. Yeah. I know. I'm not gonna ditch the plan." The steel student assured him.
"Just to be sure. Go over it again so that I know you remember." Tsuburaba requested.
Tetsutetsu sighed and then spoke up. "Head for the exit. If the Villain gets in the way, then we fight for a bit. If we think we can take him, then we take him, if not, then you run for the exit while I keep him busy."
"Good." Kosei responded.
"Not as manly of a plan as I'd like, but at least I ain't the one running." Tetsutetsu commented.
"Hey. Whatever gets us winning results." Tsuburaba replied.
"Eh...I guess." Tetsutetsu reluctantly agreed.

Elsewhere in the datascape a series of ones and zeros were compiling together until they took the form of Xemnas. The Superior of the In Between had scanned his surroundings and immediately knew that something was wrong. He had no idea where he was. The buildings were similar in design to the ones in the World that Never Was, but unlike in his metropolis, these buildings seemed to be thriving in the realm of light.
The Nobody attempted to open a dark corridor, but failed. This seemed to make him question himself in more ways than one. He was questioning his actual nonexistent self for coming to this unknown location and how he even arrived here, if not from the use of a dark corridor. He was questioning his existing elderly counterpart of why he would want to send the Nobody here. He was questioning why he couldn't 'feel' the other members of the true organization at all.
Suddenly an announcement went off. "Team Tetsutetsu and Tsuburaba. Practical Exam. Ready? Go!"
Xemnas then realized that his coming here wasn't because of any of his other selves. He also knew that the Guardians of Light couldn't be involved in this, because the Organization watched their every move and made sure that they would stay on the path that most benefited their goals. But in order to fully understand what his situation was, he needs to find someone. His best bet is someone from this 'team' that was announced. He took a deep breath and then he vanished.
Back with the pair of students, they walked on the main road for a while and observed their surroundings. "Hm...It's too quiet." Tetsutetsu said.
"Not every battle is loud Tetsutetsu." Kosei pointed out.
"Yeah, but we should have at least seen or heard from this Xemnas guy." Tetsutetsu stated. "If he can take Sora on in a fight and leave a mark, then this guy ain't a sneaker."
"If he can take Sora on in a fight, then we shouldn't welcome a direct confrontation." Tsuburaba argued. "We saw what Sora could do during the Sports Festival. And even then, I'm pretty sure he was still holding back some power. And you're telling me you want to go against that?"
"Why are you even worried?" Tetsutetsu questioned. "The plan we settled on has me taking the brunt while you either book it or back me up."
"Just telling you that you really shouldn't be excited about fighting a guy who can leave a mark on arguably the strongest student in the Hero Course." Kosei replied.
"Hey. The school motto here is Go Beyond, Plus Ultra, right?" Tetsutetsu reminded his partner. "This is exactly what this test is all about. Go beyond our limits and win."
"Well excuse me for being cautious." Tsuburaba said.
"What happened to that competitive drive you had at the Sports Festival?" Tetsutetsu asked.
"Hey. I'm enthusiastic about beating this practical." Kosei responded. "I'm just looking at this realistically."
Tetsutetsu rolled his eyes and went back to observing his surroundings.
Back in the real world, the 1-A students watched with a bit of anticipation. Thanks to Sora explaining what Xemnas' position was in the Organization, the students were curious just how strong he is. As far as they knew, he was the only one to actually leave a scar on Sora, other than The League of Villains Leader, the Hero Killer, and the Heartless.
Ever since Xemnas disappeared, the suspense was slowly building up. The only person who was confused was Shoto, and that was because Sora said his Quirk allowed him to manipulate light, not turn invisible. But then again, Toru thought her Quirk was invisibility, but she managed to deflect bolts of light off of her during her practical. Maybe his quirk is similar to hers.
[Silence]
Back in the datascape, Tetsutetsu and Tsuburaba were still keeping an eye out. The silence was now beginning to border on unsettling, as the only noises that were being made were the pair's footsteps. No wind breezing by, no echo's in the streets, nothing but the sound of their footsteps.
Seconds pass by and suddenly, a cold chill runs down their backs and the silence is broken with what sounded like...static? The two stop walking but they still hear footsteps and the static sound getting closer. Tetsutetsu was the first to look behind him and the first thing he was was a translucent hooded man walking directly towards him. "WHA!?" The steel quirked student was so startled that he began to fall backwards, but not before the hooded man seemed to phase through him.
Suddenly bits and pieces of Tetsutetsu's life flashed before his eyes. His time as a toddler when he first discovered his Quirk. His time in elementary and middle school. Memories of him fighting and passing the entrance exams to U.A. times of him in Class 1-B with the others. His first time meeting Class 1-A. Specifically Sora. His memories of the Sports Festival and everything he did and saw. Memories of his internship with Fourth Kind and the multiple texts he received and sent to Sora. And finally, his memories from a short while ago, when he discovered that he was fighting a Data recreation of a Villain, and Sora's warning about Xemnas.
Kosei watched as the hooded man passed through his partner and once he was through the boy. Tetsutetsu's rear hit the floor and he was briefly frozen in shock. Tsuburaba quickly gripped his partner's shoulder and asked. "Hey. You okay?"
Tetsutetsu snapped out of his shock and answered "Yeah...guh...I think my life just flashed before my eyes." He got himself back up and noticed that the man who just went through him was no longer translucent and seemed to be standing still.
Then the man spoke in a very deep voice. "Ah...so that's why I'm here."
The voice caught both boys off guard and Kosei commented "Whoa...that voice is deep."
Tetsutetsu then said to the man. "Xemnas...right?"
The hooded man turned around and pulled his hood back to show his face to the pair. He then spoke again. "That is one of the names I gave myself, though it holds no merit."
That answer just confused the two boys, as they both replied "Huh?"
"It is the name of one who does not exist, yet is still somehow here. A mere shell. Nothing." Xemnas explained. "Yet I am not that. I am a remnant of that. A shell of a shell. Hahahahahahaha...how anomalous." He was strangely enthralled by his discovery and definition of himself. "And I once thought that my previous being was irregular, and yet here I stand, a byproduct of the Hero of Light. A remnant of a being who never truly existed," his fingers began to spark blue bolts of light with a hexagonal web like pattern. "Created only for one purpose."
Both boys were now even more confused, but they were also getting creeped out. "What are you talking about?" Tetsutetsu asked but then he saw Xemnas lift his left hand and extend it out towards him. The boy thought fast and got his arms up and activated his quirk just in time, as blue bolts of electricity had impacted his metal arms. The attack didn't hurt him too much, but he could still feel a sting as he kept his arms up. After a solid ten seconds of guarding the attack, he spread his arms out and managed to barely disperse the attack.
[Play KH2.5 Remix OST Disappeared]
Tetsutetsu was briefly panting and Tsuburaba noticed this, but then Xemnas spoke again. "You should already know." He sounded threatening as he continued to speak. " In this data simulation, I am a Villain, and you are the Heroes." He reminded the two as his hands continued to emanate light. "You both have caught my interest." He glared at them with the intent to study them as he said "Allow me...to test your strength." The three got ready to fight.
Back in the real world, everyone watched the screen with a slight bit of uncertainty. Xemnas had already left quite the visual impression on them, and they could tell that this was going to be difficult for the 1-B students. Would this be a repeat of what happened with 1-A where the first test ended in failure, or could Xemnas actually be beaten by these two? And if so, then how? They could only watch to find out, so they focused on the screen.
After a brief moment of nothing, Xemnas made the first move and manifested a black orb around his body before the orb blitzed towards Tetsutetsu and the Superior of the In Between emerged from it with one of his ethereal blades formed as he slashed at the steel boy, hitting his arms again and then swinging the blade again with enough force to push the boy back a few feet.
Tetsutetsu reeled back from the force and then Kosei spoke up. "Was that a lightsaber just now?!"
Tetsutetsu then said "First the black hood, then a lightning attack, now this? What is this sith lord bullcrap?" He couldn't say anything else as Xemnas once again created the black sphere around himself and blitzed towards the boy to once again attack him with Interdiction. The steel student could feel a slight burn on his arms and now understood what Sora meant by Xemnas being tough. If he didn't use his quirk, his skin would probably have third degree burns right now.
Tsuburaba already knew that he had to run, but when he attempted to flee, Xemnas noticed and created a square barrier between himself and Tetsutetsu. When The steel student punched the barrier, it blasted him back before dispersing itself. "Leaving?" Xemnas called out as he then twirled his arms around and launched two small spherical light projectiles in Kosei's general direction. The boy then took a deep breath and then blew a large solid bubble out of his mouth to hopefully stop the projectiles.
When the spheres hit the solid air, both spheres rapidly expanded and came to a halt. The sphere's were so bright that Tsuburaba had to squint and put a hand over his eyes so he wouldn't go blind. While his guard was down, Xemnas used the black sphere trick again to warp to his location and kick him towards the large spheres. Kosei acted fast and then took a quick breath before blowing out solid air under him, which then pushed him up. He almost got over the spheres, but then the Superior of the In Between used his ethereal blade to pop the solid air bubble and make Tsuburaba fall head first onto the sphere before it dispersed. The student was briefly launched into the air from the force of the attack and then Xemnas warped to him and kicked the boy down to the ground, right next to Tetsutetsu, who just got himself back up.
The steel student was very much angry at Xemnas for what he just did to his partner, and charged towards the Nobody. Xemnas once again made a barrier between them, but the steel student thought fast and stomped the ground to keep his foot planted there before he punched the barrier again, this time not as hard though. While there was still a lot of force sent back to him, he didn't get launched back and managed to stay in place.
Xemnas was admittedly impressed by this but was already back on the offensive as he once again used Interdiction to bash Tetsutetsu's arms as the steel student was guarding his face. Xemnas then backed up and when Tetsutetsu attempted to pursue him, The Nobody's fingers began to glow even brighter and with a flick of his wrists, multiple small blue lights were placed in a circular formation in front of Xemnas. As he sidestepped away from the many small lights, Tetsutetsu did the same, avoiding the still lights. However, what the boy didn't expect was for the lights to then bolt towards him in rapid succession and hit him in the back. Tetsutetsu staggered from the surprise attack and Xemnas used that opportunity to land a solid strike to the boy's face with his ethereal blade, making the boy slide back a few yards and grip his face in slight pain.
As Kosei got himself up, he saw what Xemnas had done to Tetsutetsu and then saw the man make more lights in the same circular formation. The boy could tell that he was being targeted next as Xemnas then began to walk towards him in a menacing way. As he was intimidated by the Nobody, he paid more attention to the lights, then noticed them getting rapidly closer. He jumped to the side and barely managed to dodge roll his way out of the attack. He figured out what they are and called out to his partner "Those small lights are delayed projectiles!" He then got surprised by Xemnas with a quick kick to the chest, which pushed him back and made him tumble to the ground.
Back in the real world, Present Mic decided that it was time to speak up. "The Former leader of the Villain Organization, turned second in command, Xemnas! His Quirk, Hard Light! He can manipulate the light around him in multiple ways. He can make really hard hitting blue light attacks, burning hot red light attacks, or just blacken the area around him by sucking all the light out of it."
While Shoto already knew that he could manipulate light, thanks to Sora telling him about it, he had no idea it was to this extent, so he was just as surprised as the rest of the students, but then he and the other students remembered something as well. Xehanort is higher up than him in position, and that raised the question of how Xemnas could be kept in line. While the people who weren't present for Iida's practical had that question linger in their heads. Tenya and Ochako could see how a man with a time based quirk could keep someone like Xemnas in line, if there ever was a need for that.
[Silence]
Back in the datascape, Tetsutetsu and Tsuburaba both got to their feet and analyzed their situation. "Okay. So he can clearly keep us in place...that mean's running isn't an option." Tetsutetsu pointed out.
"So then we're screwed." Kosei said, feeling like there was no way to win.
"Like hell we are!" Tetsutetsu yelled out.
"He's kicking your ass and running circles around us." The solid air breather reminded his partner. "How do you expect us to turn this around?"
Tetsutetsu tapped Kosei's pocket. "You got the key we need to win this, and I can take a beating from him." He explained. "I'll take the brunt of his attacks, and you find the right moment to go."
Tsuburaba was very much unsure of this plan, but it was the only one they had right now, and if they want to pass, then this is what they have to do. He sighed and said "Ok. I'll find that moment."
[Play KH3 Re Mind OST L'Oscurità dell'Ignoto]
Tetsutetsu ran forward, heading directly towards Xemnas, who questioned the boy. "Coming back for more?" Before making a barrier between himself and the boy.
"Gonna take more than a light show to drop me!" Tetsutetsu roared out as he once again stomped his foot into the pavement and pulled his punch on the barrier, minimizing the recoil as much as he could. "Come on, sparkle fingers!"
Tetsutetsu went for a punch, but the Superior of the In Between jumped over the boy and kicked him in the back to knock him off balance. Then the Nobody manifested Interdiction in both hands and began to spin his body rapidly in the air, briefly acting like a burning circular saw blade. The rapid strikes to his back were affecting him as his steel back was now beginning to glow orange from the heat.
The boy was on his hands and knees, but when Xemnas attempted to stab Tetsutetsu with Interdiction, the steel skinned student rolled sideways to his back and then kicked the Nobody in the shin, which temporarily took him off balance. Tetsutetsu acted fast and pushed himself up to then shoulder bash the man in the gut, launching him back about a foot. However, Xemnas was able to recover by doing a back handspring cartwheel with just one hand, landing gracefully on his feet thanks to that.
The Superior of the In Between then saw Tetsutetsu try to press the attack, but then Xemnas's hand began to manifest white light versions of Marluxia's vines. But before the steel student could react, the vines rapidly extended from his arms and gripped the boy, holding him as they continued to expand and drag him to the wall of a nearby building. The impact was hard as he ended up going through the wall.
Xemnas then directed his attention to Kosei, who slightly tensed up as he was now the Nobody's center of attention. Xemnas then blitzed towards the boy, who was already taking a deep breath. As Tsuburaba began to blow out solid air once more, Xemnas stopped in his tracks and then threw out another circular formation of light bolts, this time red instead of blue, before warping behind the boy and creating a barrier behind him.
Kosei attempted to move to the left, but Xemnas already cut him off by creating another barrier, and before he could turn around, Xemnas warped to the last open space and created a third barrier to box him in, with the boy's solid air bubble acting as the fourth wall in this 'box'. Tsuburaba then saw the bolts of light blitz towards him and by the time he managed to breathe in and begin to blow underneath him to create a solid air bubble under his feet, the bolts reached his first solid air bubble and popped it. He stopped blowing and jumped off the solid air bubble as the bolts of light reached the second solid air bubble and popped it.
As Kosei reached the height of his jump, Xemnas warped above him and then kicked the boy towards the barriers he made. Tsuburaba hit one of the side barriers, which then ricocheted him into the center barrier, which then ricocheted him into the other side barrier, dispersing all the barriers, but also dealing massive damage to him. As he was about to land on the ground, Xemnas warped to the boy and grabbed him by the throat, before slamming him to the ground. "No escape." He said.
There was a crashing sound as Tetsutetsu jumped out of the building he was sent into, and was coming right for the Nobody. "I ain't done yet!" He yelled out as he was about to reach Xemnas. But then the Superior of the In Between's fingers in his free hand began to emanate the blue sparks from the beginning as he held that hand out.
The steel student couldn't react in time as the blue sparks almost instantly reached him and kept him in place. While he was surprised to feel nothing at first, that quickly went away as he began to slowly feel a series of shocks all around his body. He struggled, but couldn't move. "No." Xemnas denied the boy his chance to attack.
As both students were pinned, the match seemed over and Xemnas seemed to think so too, as he watched Tetsutetsu's struggle to break free from his shock bind, only to continuously get shocked. But thanks to that, he failed to notice Tsuburaba pull something out of his pocket, and that gave the boy just enough time to get one of the cuffs on the Nobody's wrist.
[Silence]
Xemnas then felt himself unable to move and watched as the shock bind that was on Tetsutetsu, dispelled itself. He struggled but in the end, could not move his body as the announcement went off "Team Tetsutetsu and Tsuburaba have passed the finals!"
[Play KH3 OST Xemnas' Demise -cutscene-]
Back in the real world, everyone was mildly impressed with what they just saw. The two students were able to win because their opponent had already assumed that he won at that moment. The person most impressed was Sora, because Xemnas was WAY more difficult for him. The only thing he could think about was how Tetsutetsu and his partner would have endured any of his more powerful attacks. Turns out that they didn't need to, because he didn't use them.
Back in the datascape, it was beginning to disappear. However, before the two students were taken out of it, Xemnas spoke one last time. "Bested...yet again." Then the two boys saw numbers.
As they entered the real world, Kosei put a hand on his throat and then began to cough for a bit. Since Xemnas was no longer pressing his hand against his throat, he could finally breathe. Tetsutetsu was still in his steel form, because parts of his body were glowing from heat, and he really didn't want to feel his skin burning right now. Sora and the 1-A students that were present had congratulated the two 1-B students on their victory, then Recovery Girl directed them towards the temporary nurse's office.
Happy Valentines Day! I'm back and not depressed. Sorry it took a while, but after I got over one of my pet rabbit, Mystery's untimely death, I discovered that my other rabbit, Little One had a respiratory infection that I had to deal with, and by deal with, I mean make him take medicine that he hated, twice a day, for 14 days. I finished that yesterday and now Little One is looking fine. Though he sometimes gets lonely, so I hang out with him. But enough about my pets. This chapter has only two fights instead of three. To be honest, the whole rabbit thing is the reason that I didn't make the next fight, as I wanted to get this chapter out soon, as I've heard that some people were beginning to worry about my lack of posting. Another reason is because unlike the 1-A fights, the 1-B fights are all completely original. No scenes to mingle into like the 1-A fights, no basic idea of what happened in their fights, not even a location, and I'm working with the class that doesn't have much to go off of at this point in time, so the 1-B fights require me to make everything with basically just a wiki sheet of each character and nerfs of both sides. I say on both sides because we only see three 1-B students fight before (I won't spoil the manga.) so yeah. Speaking of nerfs, let's list them off. Saix is nerfed so that it takes longer for him to reach his 2nd level berserk state and his time in said state is shorter. Xemnas is nerfed to basically be his KH1 boss fight without any DM, and he has the vine attack from Re Mind, and that's it. To be frank, Xemnas, and a few others on here really have to be dramatically nerfed for the students to even stand a chance, let alone win against. Hope you guys enjoyed and until I decide to upload again. ;)
