Hey everyone. This is less of an authors note, and more of an author's thanks. Thanks to the majority of you guys, girls, and that wonderful branch of whatever you identify as in between, this story has reached 50 chapters. Not only that, but we've also had a steady rise in people taking an intrest in this tale of mine. So much so, that (I genuinely can't believe that I get to say this.) I got fanart. I have to give out a huge HUGE thanks to Daniboy15000 for making that art. I have it saved to my google drive in a section labeled fanart (A folder that I didn't think I was ever going to make.) That art, as well as the many MANY supportive comments and reviews that you readers leave me give me the strength to continue this fic when I either feel down, or get stuck on something. Like Sora and Ventus have said. You've become a part of my heart, just as I've become a part of yours. You guys, like my friends, are my power. I hope you guys enjoy this chapter.
Chapter 50
[Play KH 358/2 Days OST Cavern of Remembrance]
As the five minutes passed by, a few things had happened. First off, most of the injured or unconscious students that were in the temporary nurse's office had not only gotten back on their feet, but they also came out and decided to stay to watch the match. Another thing that happened, was that people who had initially left the monetary room also returned. So Mina, Denki, and others also came to see this last match. Everyone in classes 1-A and 1-B, except for Izuku and Katsuki, who were still unconscious, was present to watch what was essentially the grand finale of the practical exams.
The students of 1-A were of course there to show their support towards their friend and fellow classmate. The Keyblade wielder did the same for all of them after all. Plus, they knew about Sora's new blade and figured that they were going to see it in action during this fight. Some of them were even betting on what that blade's gimmick would be.
The members of class 1-B were there to give their support of course, but it was also because they were curious about 1-A's star student. They got a sneak peak of what he could do during the Sports Festival, but just like everyone else, he only got better. The only question is, how better?
Aside from their own personal reasons though, everyone was also wondering about a few things. First off, how strong are the members of this Organization normally? This match would answer that for them, as Sora's opponent, unlike everyone else's, will not be handicapped in any way. The second question in everyone's mind was just how much were the other members of the Organization handicapped? This question would be answered depending on what they see Sora's opponent do. Then the third and final question was, if said members were tested by Sora himself, how the heck did he endure the other 18 fights against unrestricted villains with such a variety of quirks and fighting styles?
Moogle then spoke up. "It's ready, Kupo. You already know the drill, Kupo."
"Got it." Sora replied. He pushed himself off the wall he was leaning on and walked over to the platform. As he made his way there, he received words of encouragement from both classes.
"Good luck Sora." Hanta said.
"Can't wait to watch you kick ass again." Ejiro commented.
"May the lord guide you to victory." Ibara prayed.
"You have my emotional support." Tenya stated.
"And mine as well." Fumikage added.
"I'll be cheering you on too." Mashirao said.
"Me too!" Toru chimed in.
"Kick ass, just like we did!" Tetsutetsu cheered as Kosei just nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, solo this fight, just like Kendo did hers." Setsuna pointed out, which Neito was about to comment on, before Itsuka threatened to chop his neck again.
"Do your best." Yosetsu said.
"Win on behalf of me and Kaminari!" Ashido exclaimed while Denki agreed with her.
"While you may not shine as much as moi, I still look forward to seeing your bright sparkle." Yuga stated.
"I hope you win." Pony commented while Reiko, Kinoko and Yui nodded to that.
"We will be cheering you on from the sidelines as well." Jurota stated as Togaru, Shihai, Kojiro and Manga nodded to that.
"You've got this." Rikido chimed in.
"We've seen what you can do." Shoto pointed out.
"Indeed." Momo agreed. "We know you can handle this."
"If it's a girl, grope her for me." Mineta requested before Kyouka used her earphone jack on him.
"Give it your all and you'll be fine." Mezo stated, while Koji nodded.
"We'll support you, just like you've supported us." Nirengeki said while Juzo, Sen, and Hiryu nodded to that.
As Sora got onto the platform, he heard two final encouraging sentences. "We'll be here to celebrate your victory, Ribbit." Tsuyu commented.
"I can't wait to go to summer camp with you." Ochako stated. "Go get em, Sora."
And with that, he was transported into the datascape. The sensation of being compiled into data was not new to the boy and he watched as the many ones and zeros around him began to form a road, then buildings, then a horizon, and then a sky. As Sora looked around, he figured out that he was in the mock cityscape. Sora then summoned the Kingdom Key and inspected it. After doing so, he switched that blade for Oblivion, inspecting that one as well. After that, he switched Keyblades again, going from Oblivion to Two Become One, inspecting that as well. He considered who he was up against and decided that it would be best for him to use Two Become One for this fight.
The boy then checked his pockets and saw what items he had brought to the fight. Thanks to Moogle receiving plenty of synthesis materials during Sora's testing of this datascape, once the merchant got the recipes from Sora, the chibi creature had gotten to work making multiple items for the Keyblade wielder to take with him. For now, he was loaded out with two potions, one ether, and one refocuser. It wasn't much, but Sora knew not to be picky with Moogle.
Elsewhere in the datascape, multiple numbers were compiled together until they formed a person in a black hood. Said person was just like the last three before, a young member. Unlike the others though, this member was a girl, as while the coat hid her appearance, it did not hide her female figure.
Xion stood still, like a mannequin propped up in its proper position. Her hood was up, so her face was of course covered, just like how Roxas' face was covered during the last practical exam. The girl just stayed still, not even summoning her weapon. Then an announcement went off. "Contestant Sora, Practical Exam. Ready? Go!" The replica then began to walk forward, before vanishing.
Back with Sora, he too walked forward, with Two Become One in his hand and a determined look in his eyes. He was ready to face Xion. Not only that, but he was ready to win.
Back in the real world. The students watched as Sora walked forward. The members of 1-A expected Sora to take the direct approach, while the Members of 1-B thought it strange, but reasonable. While everyone saw the Organization member vanish from where she was before, they weren't too concerned. They were watching arguably the best student in the history of U.A.'s Hero Course.
[Silence]
In the datascape, Sora continued walking forward, until he heard something coming from above him. He looked up and saw a fireball coming directly towards him. Thinking fast, he leapt back and let the attack hit the ground. The boy landed safely away from the blast radius and then saw a blur enter the smoke.
[Play KH3 Re Mind OST Who's the Plus one? -cutscene-]
Sora didn't get into his battle stance. Instead, he chose to wait. Once the smoke cleared, he saw who threw the fire towards him, though he already knew it was her. He looked directly towards the hooded girl and said. "Hey..." There was no response from her, so he continued. "It's been a while, Xion." The replica stood still, showing no sign of being affected by her name. Sora figured that she wouldn't be, but wanted to try that nonetheless, since it worked on her last time. Sora really didn't want to fight her, so he continued trying to talk to her.
"I haven't seen you in a long time." The Keyblade wielder spoke up again. "I hope you still remember me." There was no response. "You know, Sora."
"...Sora..." The girl repeated.
"Yeah. That's me." The Keyblade wielder confirmed, feeling happy that she knew him. "I know we didn't get to hang out for very long before I kind of went missing, but I still think we got to be friends in that short time." There was once again, no response from Xion. "I hope you think the same way." The girl still had no reaction, which made Sora feel kind of sad, but he still tried talking to her. "You know...I really want to just talk to you. It's been so long since I've seen you, Roxas, Axel and the others. So seeing you again makes me want to ask how you've been all this time."
"..." There was still no response from Xion, even when the names Roxas and Axel were given to her.
Sora continued to speak to her, albeit in a slightly sad tone. "You know, like. How many sea salt ice creams you and the others have had since I was M.I.A. Or how you're getting along with Hayner, Pence and Ollete. Or how Siax has been treating you. All those adventures in Twilight Town." Still no response from her.
Back in the real world, the students were confused and then Kaminari spoke up. "What's going on? Why isn't Sora trying to cuff the Organization member?"
"Maybe he's trying to make her make the first move?" Kirishima guessed.
"No." Todoroki spoke up. "Look at the screen. You can see that Sora is talking to her."
"I can't see the other person's mouth though. Are they having a conversation?" Tokage wondered.
"It doesn't look like it." Tokage answered. "But what is Sora talking about?"
"Maybe he knows he's no match and is begging his opponent to get it over with." Monama taunted before Kendo chopped his neck hard enough to really hurt him, but not knock him out.
"Is it just me, or does Sora look...sad?" Asui noticed.
"Why would Sora feel sad for a Villain?" Yaoyorozu wondered out loud.
"Wait, wasn't another member of this group one of Sora's childhood friends?" Tetsutetsu remembered.
"You're right. Riku was a friend turned enemy against his will." Iida stated.
"Is this another friend of his?" Tsunotori hypothesized.
"Another possessed friend?" Ojiro replied.
"You're half right, Kupo." Moogle answered, getting the attention of the students, now curious as to what he meant. "Xion was one of many members of the Organization that Sora saved and became friends with, Kupo. He helped her escape from them when she was being used as a weapon by them, Kupo."
"So...is the reason why Sora's sad because he has to see her like that again?" Uraraka asked.
"Yes, Kupo." Moogle answered.
With that piece of information, the students looked at the screen and simply hoped that Sora would be able to do what was necessary to pass the practicals.
Back in the datascape, Sora said one final thing. "I know why you're here Xion. And I know that you probably don't care about what I'm saying, but please. I don't want to fight you."
"..." Xion's hands began to emit fire and she got ready to fight.
"...But I guess you won't give me that option." Sora sadly said as he got into his fighting pose.
[Silence]
Both stood in place, waiting to see who would make the first move. This was it. The final battle of the practical exams. Sora, the Keyblade wielding three time savior of the Universe, vs Xion, the replica of Sora's memories of Kairi, turned into an emotionless weapon by Organization XIII.
[Play KH2.5 Remix OST Dance To The Death]
Xion made the first move, rearing her arms back and casting a pair of Fire spells from her hands. Both fireballs blitzed towards the Keyblade wielder, but he was quick and pointed Two Become one towards the attack, and sent out a Blizzard spell. Once the spells hit they canceled eachother out. But then suddenly more fireballs came towards him. Not having enough time to cast more Blizzard spells, Sora got his blade up and was ready to defend himself.
The fireballs all went straight for their target, but Sora had already gotten used to dealing with barrages of fire, thanks to his fights with Axel and Vanitas. With speed and precision, the boy slashed, dodged, and deflected the dozens of fire spells casted towards him. The replica then swooped around, right behind her opponent and attempted to blast more fire at his back, but Sora anticipated that and swung behind him, striking her hard and forcing her back a few yards away. Then, he swiftly turned around and casted a Blizzard spell directly towards Xion.
The girl jumped into the air to avoid the attack, but was unprepared for Sora riding the ice trail with his flowmotion to close the distance between them. He then jumped up to where she was and swung his Keyblade towards her, but he suddenly felt a sudden cold on his chest, before that cold expanded and pushed him away from her.
As Sora landed on his feet and slightly shivered from the cold that was blasted onto him, he saw that Xion's hands now emitted ice particles and she took on a different battle stance. The boy already got himself back into his fighting stance and got ready for the next part of the fight.
The replica pointed her left hand forward and then created five Blizzard spells, that all rapidly approached Sora's position. The boy had once again been prepared to deal with Blizzard magic, thanks to Young Xehanort and Vexen. Sora moved away from his position and when he saw the ice attacks track and follow him, he was ready. He pointed the tip of his weapon and then casted out three fire spells, draining his magic to zero.
As the fire spells destroyed three of the five Blizzard spells, the remaining two still came for him, but the Keyblade wielder could handle two Blizzard spells just fine. He stopped in place and swung Two Become One at the first Blizzard spell, swatting it away, then he swatted the second Blizzard Spell away in another direction. After that he turned around and swatted away the first Blizzard spell again, when it corrected its course and tried to attack him again. Then he did the exact same thing again for the other Blizzard spell. This sequence went on repeat until the two spells finally shattered.
Xion then casted another Blizzard spell, but Sora saw it coming and reared his blade back, before striking the Blizzard spell hard, blitzing it straight back to Xion and making the ice shatter on her chest and bring her down to one knee. Sora once again closed the distance, but when he went for a strike, he was once again caught off guard.
[Play KH2.5 Remix OST Desire For All That Is Lost]
There was now a barrier of wind around Xion and she once again changed battle stances, before repelling the Keyblade wielder away with a torrent of wind. Sora tumbled on the ground, but then kicked himself back to his feet and got ready for this phase.
Xion then ran towards Sora, while also casting four Aero spells. The spells were faster versions of Xaldin's homing wind projectile, but since Sora has already dealt with Xaldin before, he already knew what to do. As soon as the first spell reached him, he blocked it with his Keyblade and let the attack disperse. The second and third Aero spells reached him and he did the same thing to those. Then Xion herself got to him and used her wind barrier to force Sora back a few more yards, before casting out another two Aero spells.
Sora skidded to a halt and then blocked the fourth, fifth and sixth Aero spells in rapid succession, before he saw Xion running towards him again. The boy decided to do the same thing and ran towards her as well. Once he was just about to run into her wind barrier, he jumped above her and dove straight down, striking the girl and dispelling the wind barrier. While she was stunned, Sora then struck her again and sent her tumbling away.
Xion pushed herself back to her feet, and when she did, she saw Sora running towards her, then jumping into the air and aiming to strike her with his weapon again. Instead of creating another wind barrier however, she waited for her moment, and then, just as Sora was about to reach her, she cartwheeled to the side to evade his power strike. Her hands then began to emit sparks of yellow electricity, before she struck Sora multiple times with lightning infused punches, and then knocked him back again.
Sora quickly recovered and saw Xion change battle stances again. At this point, Sora had already figured out what was going on, and he got ready to deal with Xion's lightning, just like how he dealt with Larxene's.
Back in the real world, most of the students were already trying to figure out what her quirk was, or if she was even using her quirk. "Ok. So first, she uses fire, then she starts throwing out ice, then she starts moving the wind around, and now she's got electric hands?" Awase listed off what they saw.
"What the heck is her quirk supposed to be?" Jiro asked.
Everyone turned to Present Mic, expecting an announcement, but he said "I ain't spoiling the surprise until we've seen everything."
"You mean that's not all she can do?" Shoda replied.
"Wait a second..." Mineta noticed something. "Look at how she's fighting Sora right now."
The students looked at the screen again and noticed that Xion's fight pattern changed to a fast paced up close style. "She's fighting up close more." Honenuki stated.
"Yeah. But look at how she's moving." Minoru pointed out. "Fast paced, overwhelming, evasive."
Momo then realized what the pervert was getting at. "Similar to Larxene."
"Now that you mention it, she was fighting similar to Axel when she used the fire at the start." Shishida noted. "Fire literally everywhere as well as an attempted back attack."
"Yeah, then when she swapped over to the ice attacks, she started acting like Vexen. Keeping her distance and trying to keep her opponent occupied with multiple attacks." Setsuna added.
"Then when that didn't work, BAM! She switches to wind and tries to control the flow of the fight, like Xaldin." Manga pointed out. "She even did the wind barrier thing too."
Neito then spoke up. "Does she have my quirk?" Everyone in both classes knew where he was getting at. "Just like me, she's using quirks that were used by her previous allies. Even copying their fighting styles. It's possible that she has a copy quirk." Mic didn't say anything, so the students were unsure, but for now, that was the only thing they could think of.
Back in the datascape, Sora was now leaping and rolling away from multiple Thunder spells being cast towards him. He could see Xion casting one after another after another, but Sora's magic wasn't recharged yet, so he couldn't cast wind magic to stop this right now. He had to think of something else.
While dodging another series of Thunder Spells, he knew what to do. He tapped into his focus energy and after a medium charge was built, he released the energy and briefly transformed into Limit Form, yelling out "Judgement!" as he threw Two Become One towards Xion.
The girl had to stop casting thunder magic in order to get out of the way of the blade, but when she did, the blade ricocheted off the floor and once again went for her. She didn't have time to react to the sudden course correction and got hit directly by the blade. Then it ricocheted off her and then the floor to hit her again, and again, and again, and again.
While Judgement was more of a physical attack, it still had wind properties to it, and could counter Xion's close range lightning attacks. Sora ran forward and pulled his hand back, watching as the Keyblade ricocheted off of her one last time before it came back to his hands. The boy then jumped up to her level, grabbed her by the wrist and threw her down to the ground below them.
[Silence]
Sora landed a few feet in front of her and watched her push herself back to her feet. She gripped onto her left arm and turned her head towards her opponent. The Keyblade wielder then spoke again, showing her a pair of handcuffs in his free hand. "Xion. Just let me put these on. We don't have to keep hurting each other." There was no response from her. "Please."
The replica let go of her left arm and then raised her right arm forward. Suddenly, black screams began to swarm around her creating a dark orb that Sora couldn't see through. Then the orb turned into streams again and dispersed from Xion's position. As Sora looked at the result of that move, he was both surprised and confused.
Xion was now dawning a set of armor, but what was strange about the armor, was that it resembled his attire during his first adventure. Especially the white and red color with black highlights all around the armor, and the gold and blue spots on the helmet, boots and gauntlets. Xion then summoned more black streams that made an orb that rapidly expanded and covered both of them.
Back in the real world, all of the students were just as confused. "What the heck is that?" Sato questioned.
"Looks like...some kind of armor." Tenya pointed out.
"That's actually what it is, Kupo." Moogle explained. "It was never given an official name, but I'd call this support item, 'Quirk Adaptable Armor' Kupo."
"Quirk Adaptable Armor?" Tetsutetsu repeated.
"Yep, Kupo." The merchant confirmed. "It's a set of armor that adapts itself and increases the effectiveness of whoever wears it and whatever their quirk is, Kupo. It's single handedly the most complicated support item to ever exist, Kupo. A big shame, seeing as the only existing set belonged to her, before it was destroyed, Kupo."
"Wait, hold on. Back up a second." Itsuka spoke up. "Adapts to the user's quirk? So if I wore that armor, it would adapt to my big fist quirk, or adapt to Kamakiri's blades, or Ojiro's tail, and the like?"
Moogle nodded and then Todoroki spoke up. "Which begs the question, why would that be her support item, instead of a weapon, like the other members of this Organization?"
"Unless she really does have..." Monoma began, before Present Mic decided that now was the time.
Back in the datascape, as blackness surrounded both Sora and Xion, the boy braced himself and prepared for an attack, but when the blackness suddenly dispersed from the pair, he looked around and saw that he was now suddenly inside one of the many buildings in the Mock Cityscape. He was inside a large empty room, with a few chandeliers on the ceiling that lit up the room.
Sora then looked back at where he last saw Xion and saw her standing there in the armor. Before Sora could even question what was happening, the armor began to glow, enveloping itself with light, before a brief flash that made everyone see white.
[Play KH1.5 Remix OST Shrouding Dark Cloud]
When the flash was gone, Xion not only had a large gold and pink blade, but she now had armored wings that were colored green at the base, white at the middle, and yellow at the tips.
Present Mic made his announcement in the real world. "The Replica, Xion! Her Quirk, Replicate! After being exposed to any quirk for a certain period of time, mainly through combat, she gains the ability to use a lesser powered version of it!"
"So it is like my Quirk." Neito spoke up. "But not exactly the same."
"So that's why she has that armor." Denki realized. "It'll adapt to all the quirks she's replicated."
"And double as a layer of defense." Sero added.
Back in the datascape, Xion descended to the ground and charged towards Sora. The boy got his guard up and managed to block her downward slice. He then moved to the side to evade her second attempted downward slash. Sora then struck her in the arm, but she was unphased by the attack. She quickly retaliated with a horizontal slash that Sora had to duck under. The boy struck both her legs as he did so, but she was still unphased.
Sora got back upright and blocked Xion's blade as she swung it back towards him, but the force of the attack pushed him a few feet away from her. As soon as Sora skidded to a halt, he noticed Xion hold her blade close to her and gather some energy. The Keyblade wielder didn't know what she was planning, but soon found out, when she suddenly blitzed forward and swung her blade like a bat towards his side. Sora was barely able to get his weapon up in time to defend himself, but the force shattered his guard and launched him back a bit.
Sora skidded on the ground for a second before he kicked himself back onto his feet. The Boy then charged a small amount of his focus energy and once again went into limit form. He then yelled out "Strike Raid!" as he threw Two Become One towards his opponent. Xion jumped back to evade the first attack, then she used her wings to take flight and avoid the other four times he threw the blade towards her.
As Sora reverted back to normal, Xion went on the offensive, gathering limited energy into her blade, before blitzing towards her opponent. The Keyblade wielder saw the flying girl coming and leapt out of the way of the attack, but she stopped herself and blitzed back towards him again. Sora once again got out of the way, only for her to repeat that again and again, doing an aerial Sonic Blade attack.
As Sora evaded the last attempted stab, he once again tapped into his focus energy, until he fully charged it, transforming into Wisdom form and executing his Wisdom Barrage super move, circling around his opponent and shooting her with many bluer bolts of magic. Even with her wings and mobility, Xion could not evade all of the bolts, getting skimmed by many as she tried to anyway.
The girl then saw Sora revert to normal and she took her chance, flying directly towards him and attempting another downward slash. Sora blocked it, but then he had to dodge the blade when Xion pulled back and thrusted the tip towards him. As Sora evaded this, She pulled her sword up and got ready to attack again, but was once again hit by Sora in the shoulder as she turned to face him.
She swung her blade towards him again, but he jumped over the blade and struck her armored head, hoping to get some kind of reaction, but still, nothing. Xion held her blade close and attempted her power strike on Sora again, but the boy managed to sidestep the attack and then hit her a few times in the chest. She still wasn't phased, but she could see that Sora was starting to figure out her fighting style.
Sora and Xion both went for a swing at each other and their blades clashed. They both pushed off each other and backflipped away. Sora then rolled his shoulders and he saw Xion do the same. The Keyblade wielder then spoke up. "Guess it's time I kicked it up a notch." He then threw Two Become One directly up and yelled out "Give me strength!" as light enveloped around him. In the air, Two Become One did it's Keyblade Transformation and spit into the dual blades mid decent. As the light faded around Sora, he was now in Valor Form as he caught the black blade in his left hand and the silver blade in his right. He then took his Valor Form battle stance.
Back in the real world, all of the students were baffled at what they just saw. First, he has a color swap that's all red white and yellow, then he gets a bright blue color pallet with flame designs on his jacket and now, he's got a bright red color change. Not only that, but when he tapped into this form, his weapon transformed as well, and now he's dual wielding.
Ejiro was the first to speak. "Ok. THAT looks manly!"
"So that weapon can split into two swords that he can dual wield." Iida noted.
"That explains the name then." Shoto pointed out, which none of the students except for Tenya understood. "Sora called this blade, 'Two Become One' and the blade transforms into two different blades. So when together, it literally is, two blades becoming one blade." He explained. The students then got what he meant and looked back to the screen.
Xion blitzed towards him aiming to try and power strike him again, but Sora easily avoided the attack, thanks to his increased movement speed that came with Valor Form. The boy then used his increased speed and dual blades to not only strike Xion many times, but force her to finally stagger from the fast paced combo. Now he was making progress.
Xion backflipped away again, but Sora was able to run back up to her and continue his quick and relentless assault. The replica was starting to feel the multitude of attacks under her armor, and she had to think fast. Remembering that she had wings on her back right now, she decided to use them and quickly ascended from the ground.
The girl thought she got away, but she was shocked to see Sora not just jump up towards her, but he managed to jump up a bit higher than she ascended with her wings. Before she could even process his sudden high jump, Sora slashed at and shattered her weapon. Then as she was once again unable to process what just happened, he slashed his blades down and literally cut off her wings where they extended past her shoulders. Sora wasn't finished yet though, as he swiftly then spun his body and slashed her helmet with his left blade before thrusting the right blade into her chest armor, launching her back a good distance before she finally began to descend to the ground.
[Silence]
Back in the real world "Whoa." was collectively said by most of the students.
"He's a pro with those!" Ashido exclaimed.
"Like Kamakiri, but better." Juzo said, which earned him a glare from Togaru.
"He's much faster than he was before." Ibara pointed out.
"And he can jump higher too." Asui added. "Almost as high as me, Ribbit."
Back in the datascape, Xion landed on the ground hard, skipping on it and then skidding to a halt. She pushed herself back up to her feet, but she then stumbled back down onto one knee. Sora was almost back on the ground as Xion raised her left hand up and called back the black streams and made another orb that encompassed them. Sora landed on the ground and then ran towards her in an attempt to stop it, but when he got close, she vanished. The black streams dispersed again and Sora was once again relocated. This time, to an acre of land that was an empty lot in the Mock Cityscape.
Back in the real world, since Present Mic announced what Xion's Quirk was, everyone was keeping track of how many different quirks she's replicated with it. First was Axel's Hellfire, then came Vexen's Cryo Control. After that was Xaldin's Whirlwind, followed by Larxene's Livewire. Then when she dawned the armor, she used a wing based flight quirk, as well as Xigbar's Distort. While that was already a whole lot of quirks, they had a feeling that this wasn't all she had to offer.
Back in the datascape, Sora managed to get his sight on Xion and saw her armor flash again with light. When the light faded, her armor was the same, but now another object was in her hands.
[Play KH2.5 Remix OST Vim and Vigor]
The object was another blade, but this long blade seemed almost alive, as the tip of it moved like it had a head and mouth, chomping for a brief moment as the girl moved it. The blade itself looked like some strange amalgamated mechanism that would come out of Halloween Town. Before Sora could inspect it more, Xion got into another battle stance, prompting Sora to do the same.
After a brief moment of sizing each other up, they both ran towards each other, ready to start the next phase of the battle. Sora went for a downward slam with both of his blades, but Xion skipped to the side and avoided the attack, before swinging down her own blade. Sora managed to move to the side to avoid it, but was then forced to block as Xion immediately swung the blade horizontally towards him. He was pushed back a few inches, but that didn't stop the armored girl from using her momentum from the horizontal slash to swing down hard on Sora's guard.
The boy managed to withstand the attack and attempted to counter, but Xion did a reverse cartwheel to get out of the way of Sora's attack. The Keyblade wielder ran towards her again, but he suddenly felt himself getting pulled back. He looked back to see a small vortex on the ground that was sucking him in, and while he tried to fight it, the vortex still pulled him in anyway. As he was now stuck in place at the center of it, Xion charged up a power strike and swung her blade down onto Sora, who tried to guard the attack, only for his guard to get broken and for him to stagger as the vortex dissipated.
The replica took advantage of this and struck Sora a few times with her blade, before once again, reverse cartwheeling away from his striking range when he tried to retaliate. She once again created a vortex below Sora's feet and prepared a power strike, but this time, Sora knew it was coming, so when she did it, he jumped up to just barely avoid the attack, and used the force of the vortex pulling him back down to increase the force of his own power strike, slamming down hard on Xion's back and cracking her armor. He wasn't done though, as the vortex vanished and Xion pushed herself to her feet, Sora spun his body around and continuously struck her head and chest armor, cracking those as well.
As Sora stopped spinning and went for a thrust attack with both his blades, Xion backflipped a good distance away and began charging something in mid air. Energy began to build up at the tip of her blade and the pose she took in the air looked very familiar. Just as Sora figured out what she was doing though, it was too late, as she unleashed her own Ragnarok attack at Sora.
The boy knew how destructive Ragnarok was, so he already knew that he couldn't afford to get hit by those blasts. Using his enhanced speed, he ran, ducked, dodged and rolled out of the way of the energy blasts first volley. The blasts quickly corrected their course however and were once again on Sora's trail. The Keyblade wielder once again avoided the homing projectiles albeit having a few very close calls.
Back in the real world, the students could now chalk up a version of Xemnas' Light Manipulation to her ever expanding list of replicated quirks. "Jeez. This lady is crazy." Kinoko said what everyone thought.
"So, Axel, Vexen, Xaldin, Larxene, Xigbar, and now Xemnas." Yaoyorozu listed off.
"What's next, Xehanort?" Ojiro remarked. Just then, the students looked at the screen and saw Xion summon a circular glyph around herself, and her armor began to uncrack. Sora was too busy dodging the energy blasts to try and stop it, so Xion was left uninterrupted as she reversed most of the damage done to her. Iida and the other students that had seen the Young Xehanort match looked at the tailed boy with deadpan expressions. "...Uh...sorry."
Back in the datascape, the energy blasts finally faded away, but by then, Xion had already undid all his progress. The boy knew that he was going to have to take it to the next level, so he let the energy gathered up inside him surge and he transformed into Master Form, letting go of the black sword and letting it levitate around his left arm.
He saw Xion charge another Ragnarok and aim it towards him, but now he could deal with it. The boy ran directly towards his opponent, and once Zion released the Ragnarok, Sora jumped into the air and watched the bolts follow him up. He then twirled himself around in the air to propel himself further up and away before facing the projectiles and casting his master form Blizzard, having several ice projectiles come out of the silver blade and cancel out the energy bolts that Xion made.
Xion was about to try again, but suddenly she felt four consecutive bolts of thunder magic hit her in rapid succession. The sudden usage of magic caught her off guard, but she wasn't out of the fight yet. She summoned the glyph again, but Sora got down to her level and casted Fire around himself, creating five orbs of flames that blasted her back a few yards.
Sora didn't let up on his attack and used his left arm to control the black blade and extend his combo, hitting her again and again with it until he closed the distance and continuously swung with both of his blades, regaining the ground he had lost and destroying the blade that Xion was using. The girl fell to her knees, and Sora finally stopped his assault.
[Silence]
Back in the real world, the students watched as Sora once again took a new form and overpowered his opponent with it. All the people watching, including the adults were very much impressed with how well the star student of 1-A was doing, especially by himself. "Damn...dude." Kaminari spoke up.
"Sora has grown much stronger since the sports festival." Tokoyami commented.
"No arguments there." Shoji agreed with him.
"Jeez. It's like he's a freaking pro Hero already." Kosei spoke up, feeling a bit envious.
"Fighting someone like Xion and coming out victorious is definitely not something that just anyone can do." Tenya commented, but then the students watched as the armored Organization member slammed her fist into the ground and once again relocated the pair somewhere else. "I spoke too soon."
Back in the datascape, Sora mentally cursed himself for once again, letting her get away with that. He quickly observed his surroundings and saw that he was once again indoors, but now he seemed to be in a vacant room with normal lights embedded in the ceiling, instead of an empty ballroom with chandeliers. The boy then saw Xion as her armor enveloped in light once again When the light dimmed down though...
Back in the real world, the students saw her as well and were just looking at her with dumbfounded expressions. "Are you kidding me?" Mezo said.
In the datascape, Sora then said "You've got to be kidding me."

Xion's armor changed again, this time, sporting four arms, each holding scimitars with shielded handles. She took on another battle stance, and Sora begrudgingly did the same. As the Keyblade wielder was starting to size up this next phase, Xion ran right towards him and attempted to attack him. The boy put up a barrier and negated the attack, but Xion backflipped away from the barrier before it shattered, missing her on the rebound.
Sora then casted another Blizzard spell, but the replica raised her blades and used the shielded handles to block the ice that came for her. Sora then tried his thunder magic, only for that to be blocked by another shielded handle. The boy was about to try and use fire, but was forced to jump and aerial dodge away from Xion swinging her blades at him again. As he began to descend, he suddenly felt like he was being pulled, and sure enough that annoying ground vortex was pulling him towards his armored opponent, who had already prepared a power strike for him.
As soon as the boy was close enough, Xion lunged forward and swung with all four of her blades towards Sora. The attack was negated however, as Sora once again made a barrier around him. Before she could get away, Sora rebounded the force in the barrier and made her stagger. He then leapt into the air and began his attack, causing a few small chinks in the armor.
Xion then retaliated by pouring a large amount of limit energy into all four of her blades and violently swinging at Sora, who was forced to dodge the slashes, or get seriously injured by the blades. While Xion was using four arms, Sora could recognize that she was using a version of Ars Arcanum, and he was just familiar enough with the patterns of the attack that he could just barely avoid the slashes, despite there being four times as many.
Once Xion finished slashing, Sora went back on the attack and forced her to defend herself. She couldn't do it forever though and when she started to falter, Sora took advantage of that and swatted away her weapons, one at a time, until all four were away from her. Sora then attempted to go for her chest armor.
As he went for the chest, his arm got grabbed and stopped him from attacking. He then felt his other arm get grabbed and then he felt both arms get tugged on really hard, which caused Sora to grunt in pain and frustration. He began to twist his left hand and commanded the black blade to attack Xion, but she used one of the two extra hands she had to catch the blade and hold tightly onto it. She then had her full attention on the Keyblade wielder as she used her last free hand to start plumbing Sora like a punching bag, while she kept him in place, alternating between hitting the stomach and face. She didn't pull her punches either, as Sora could feel the wind getting knocked out of him from every stomach punch, and he could feel pain in his neck in pain with every punch to the face snapping his head around his shoulders.
Back in the real world, the students tensed up. Not only were they seeing the tables turn again in Xion's favor, but now, Sora was unable to do anything but endure the assault. Mina spoke up. "No no no no. Come on, Come on! You can do this Sora!"
"You can take it, dude!" Tetsutetsu exclaimed. "You tanked a giant robot falling on your head!"
Even though they knew Sora couldn't hear them, some of the students still sent out their stress induced words of encouragement.
Back in the datascape, Xion continued pummeling away at Sora until the boy dropped the silver blade in his hands. She then stopped to see Sora raise his head and look at the faceplate on her helmet with a determined glare. The girl was about to punch him again, but she was then blinded by light as it erupted from Sora's body. She covered her face with her free arm, but then lost her grip on his arms and was pushed away from the force of the light. She skidded to a halt, but then she felt the arm that was holding Sora's black blade get struck in the wrist, forcing her to let go of the blade. She could just barely see that it was the silver blade that he dropped before. Both blades blitzed back towards Sora as the light subsided around him, and he was now dawning the pulsing white Final Form. His blades stopped behind him and hovered there like wings.
Xion quickly grabbed her blades on the ground and charged towards Sora, but the boy simply reached into his pocket and pulled out a potion for him to drink. As soon as Xion got close, the blades acted on their own and circled around Sora as he was gulping down the potion as fast as he could. The blades did their job and protected Sora from the various strikes that his armored opponent was dishing out. When Sora finished the potion, he then outstretched his arms and had both blades rapidly strike Xion to successfully push her back.
Back in the real world, the students were shocked to see that Sora not only transformed again, but that he didn't even need to hold his blades in order to use them now. "Jeez. This feels like a freaking anime battle with all the transformations and abilities being thrown everywhere." Denki commented.
"Or a video game boss fight with way too many phases." Setsuna added.
"Either way, Xion's extremely varied arsenal of replicated quirks and Sora ever evolving forms seem to counterbalance each other." Jurota spoke up.
"An astute assessment, Beast of Revelation." Ibara said, earning a confused look from Shishida.
"So if the pattern doesn't change, that means that this form should be able to overpower Xion, even with her four arms." Momo stated.
"Then should Xion evolve again, the tips scale back into her favor." Fumikage pointed out.
Back in the datascape, Sora was putting in work, using Final Form to its best strengths. When Xion tried to shield herself from all directions, Sora had his blades orbit around Xion and he blitzed from one blade to the other so fast that he looked like a bolt of white light, consecutively striking and soon enough shattering the shielded portions of the scimitars. When Xion attempted to attack with her blades, Sora had his two blades form up like a double edged sword before making them both spin in conjunction with each other, forming a makeshift telekinetic saw that literally destroyed the scimitar blades on contact. Before Xion could even react, Sora continued the attack, by separating the blades from each other and making them clash as her location, creating small but very powerful shockwaves from the clashes. The first clash took out one of her extra left arms. The second took out her extra right arm. Then finally the third strike blasted her back and made her hit the ground hard.
[Silence]
The blades came back to Sora and hovered behind him once more. The boy watched as Xion forced herself to her feet, only to fall back down to both knees. Sora then yelled out. "Xion! You can still stop this! Just don't fight back! Get out of that armor and we can just end it now!" The armored Organization member grabbed her head, as if she was suffering a migraine before the black streams came back and surrounded the pair once more.
Sora opened his eyes, expecting to be somewhere else in the Mock Cityscape, but when he looked around, it was still completely pitch black. He was of course confused, but then when he looked behind him, his confusion turned into relief. He saw Xion, no longer wearing the armor, with her back turned to him and her hood still over her head. The Keyblade wielder had a small smile on his face as he hovered over towards her, but as soon as he where she was and reached out for her hand, she vanished and the blackness around Sora dissipated, revealing where he was now.
The boy looked around and saw that he was now several hundred feet in the air. While surprised, he didn't panic, as Final Form gave him the ability to glide and hover at any height. He then looked back at where he had come from and saw something he didn't like. Xion, still clad in armor, had grown to a massive size and was also hovering in the air with him. Her armor also seemed to look upscaled in its design and given additional shoulder accessories, but that wasn't too important to note. What was important to note was that she now had two massive swords that looked like the symbol of the Nobodies.
Back in the real world, all of the students had varying expressions on their faces. Some were shocked. Others were indifferent. But many of them were now just annoyed. "And now, gigantification?" Itsuka said, while Kodai nodded in agreement.
[Play KH BBS OST The Encounter]
Xion got into a battle stance. Sora's smile was already gone, replaced with a sad expression, then immediately after that, an angry look, then he changed it to a determined look, glaring at Xion's helmet as he yelled out. "You want to keep going?! FINE! I'll break that armor and make you stop!" He then got ready to fight as well.
Xion moved her right arm and swung the blade towards Sora. The boy had both swords go under him and spin like a fan below him, propelling himself up to dodge the first slash. Xion's left arm swung it's blade towards him as well, but Sora was able to ascend before it could bisect him. The boy then saw his opponent pull both her arms up and then attempt an X slash with her blades, but Sora was able to cast a barrier around himself and block the attack.
As the barrier dissipated, Sora pointed his blades towards Xion's chest region and used up all of his magic to cast as many Blizzard spells as possible, managing to throw out ten ice blasts before he ran out of magic. The giant replica was only annoyed with the barrage and crossed her blades in an X formation, before two golden beams of light came from the tips of her shoulder accessories and blitzed towards Sora.
Sora had both his blades get in front of him, barely managing to block the two blasts of light. He then saw Xion press her blades together and raise them up like they were a single sword. As she did that, they began to glow blue. Then suddenly, multiple rays of blue light began to appear out of nowhere and Sora was forced to stay on the move, gliding and dodging the randomly generated light pillars.
By the time the barrage was finished, Sora managed to get up close to Xion and then began to attack her with all he had, twirling his body around and making the twin blades spin alongside him first vertically, then horizontally. Then slashing multiple times, and doing an X slash of his own, before spinning the blade in front of him like a saw, then separating them and having them strike Xion with the blades, creating multiple small explosions of light on contact.
The girl then crossed her blades again and this time, created an orb of darkness that blasted Sora back away and put some distance between the pair. As Sora corrected himself in the air, he once again darted towards Xion, but he suddenly felt himself getting pulled back, and when he turned his head to see what it was, sure enough, it was that same annoying vortex that she used during her other phases. Even with Final Form's speed in the air, he still couldn't overpower the vortex as it sucked him into its center and kept him in place.
Xion then pressed her blades together and raised them again, but this time instead of blue, they glowed gold. A massive golden ring appeared around Sora's position, and while the boy didn't know what was about to happen, he could only guess that it was not going to end well for him. Especially since he just used up his magic. Then the boy realized something and reached into his pocket. He took out the Ether and quickly drank it, letting it refuel his magic back to full.
Suddenly a massive golden light erupted from the area inside the gold ring, encompassing everything inside it. The light stayed like that for five seconds. More than enough time to absolutely decimate anyone inside it that wasn't prepared to handle it. As the light faded away, Sora's body was not seen by Xion.
Far up above her though, Sora was there, completely fine thanks to him putting a barrier around himself literally at the last possible moment. The boy then planned his next move and casted another four Blizzard spells towards the girl while her guard was down. As soon as he did that, though, Xion heard the casts and looked to where he was. Before she could retaliate however, she felt eight separate Thunder spells strike her head in rapid succession. Soon after that, the Blizzard spells reached her helmet and all hit her head on, dazing the girl.
Sora then positioned his twin blades below him and had them spiral around him like a drill before he dove straight down at full speed. As he descended, he could feel himself on the brink of reverting back to normal, but he had to hold on just a little longer. Just long enough for him to hit this last attack. As he reached his target, the attack connected, blitzing through Xion's helmet and shattering it on contact. Suddenly a massive amount of black streams came and surrounded the armor.
[Silence]
As the black streams dissipated, it showed Sora, now back to normal, and his twin blades reformed into Two Become One, in a state of freefall, while Xion, who was now back to normal size fell out of her armor as it shattered into pieces. Both managed to land on their feet when they touched the ground, but while Sora stood tall, Xion staggered and fell to one knee.
Back in the real world, most members of class 1-A and a few members of class 1-B were literally cheering that victory. "That was nuts!" Mina exclaimed.
"He was all PEW PEW CHINK KABOOM ZAP WHOOP SHASHASHASHASHASHA SKEWW!" Manga said.
"I must say, that was a rather dazzling way to finish that fight." Aoyama complimented.
"He just obliterated that armor!" Tetsutetsu yelled out.
"In the most manly way too. Literally head on!" Kirishima added.
At this point, Aizawa had enough of the noise and activated his quirk while glaring at the two classes. "All of you, shut up. The practical isn't over yet."
As both classes quieted down, Denki asked his homeroom teacher, "What do you mean it's not over? Sora just wrecked her."
"Actually, if this is going where I think this is going to go, then there's one more fight for Sora." Neito spoke up.
"And just were do you think it's going to go?" Sero asked in a snarky manner.
"Did you forget what Present Mic said about how her Quirk works?" Monoma pointed out.
Back in the datascape Sora walked towards Xion, unsummoning Two Become One and grabbing the cuffs that he held in his jacket. Xion didn't make any movement as the boy got closer and closer to her. As Sora reached where she was, the girl still didn't move. The Keyblade wielder then said "I'm sorry that it had to end this way, Xion." He then grabbed her arm.
Just as Sora was about to get the cuffs on, he heard something get summoned in Xion's free hand. Before the boy could fully get out of the way, the Kingdom Key slashed upwards and broke the chains on the handcuffs. Sora jumped back and summoned Two Become One again, looking at his opponent, who now wielded the Kingdom Key.
Back in the real world, "Oh, COME ON!" was said by a few of the students in unison.
"Yep. I figured." Neito said. "They've been fighting for a while, so she had plenty of exposure to his Quirk."
"That was within the realm of possibilities." Tenya agreed with him. "Still, it is very unfortunate that the fight couldn't end right then."
"Well, considering that she is choosing to use Sora's own quirk against him, Xion has most likely run out of other options." Momo pointed out.
"So then you're saying that THIS is the final phase of the fight?" Toru questioned.
"She wouldn't use a quirk she just obtained if there was any other option." Shoto stated.
Moogle decided to stay quiet. He knew that Xion always had this power, but the students were still correct about this being the last struggle, because the girl already used up everything else.
[Play KH3 Re Mind OST Vector to the Heavens]
Sora dropped the broken cuffs in his hands and watched as Xion got ready for a fight. He already knew what he had to do, and it wasn't to run. He had to completely beat her, both because Xion would not let him escape, and because he didn't want to fight her again for Moogle to create difficulty settings for her later. The boy then reached into his jacket again, pulled out his refocuser and drank it to fully refill his focus energy. He then threw the empty bottle away and got into his battle stance. This was it, all or nothing. Either Sora wins and finishes this unpleasant nostalgia trip, Or Xion wins and Sora fails his practical exam.
The pair then ran towards each other and clashed their Keyblades. They quickly broke off and Xion did a downward slash that Sora blocked, followed by a thrust attack that Sora parried, then a spinning horizontal slash that was also blocked. Sora then went to attack with a horizontal slash of his own, but Xion ended up turning into an orb of light that quickly dodged the attack and moved to his side. As she reformed, she did the same three hit combo, only for Sora to once again block it all. Before Xion could turn into the light orb again, Sora had already struck her with Two Become One, hitting her with a series of vertical and horizontal slashes, followed by three stabs and then a power strike that sent her back a distance. As Xion was in the air, she turned into the orb of light and blitzed towards the ground. Sora had charged a small amount of his focus energy and then when he saw Xion land on the ground and throw her Keyblade, he went into limit form and threw his.
Both blades clashed and bounced off each other while both wielders called them back and threw them a second time only for the blade to clash and bounce off again. Then they did it a third time, but the results were the same. As both Keyblade wielders finished their Strike Raid attacks, Sora reverted to normal while Xion once again turned into the orb of light. As Xion blitzed from spot to spot, narrow blue pillars of light form where she stops at before she once again moves and sends the pillars towards Sora. The boy raised his blade and slashed at the pillars approaching him destroying the attacks as they came one at a time. Xion then blitzed towards him and attempted to stab her opponent, but he dodged and then blocked her downward slash that she attempted to follow up with. Sora swung towards her body, but she once again turned into the orb of light and darted around him, making a pair of light pillars that forced Sora to focus on them instead of Xion. As he defended against those two pillars, Xion made two more and forced Sora to block those too.
Sora then saw Xion throw the Kingdom key towards him, which he deflected away. He then saw her dash away as a light orb and send a pillar of light towards him, which he slashed and destroyed when it got to him. She then threw her Keyblade again, but had five pillars of light burst and spread from the blade when it got close to Sora. The boy thought fast and was able to get his guard up to block the light before it could hit him. Xion then dashed from side to side and sent two more light pillars towards Sora, who blocked them accordingly. The boy then watched her throw the Kingdom Key towards him again and waited for his moment. As soon as five more light pillars erupted from the blade, Sora made his move, using his flowmotion to blitz around the attack, close the distance between the two and hit Xion with a twelve hit combo with Two Become One.
Xion once again turned herself into the light orb to escape from Sora's onslaught, but when she reformed as a person, she had a golden glow on her as she turned to Sora and said "Get ready." Suddenly, Xion pounced towards the boy, moving as fast as Sora does when he's in flowmotion. Sora had to use his own flowmotion to dodge Xion's attack, which was a downward slam that made many golden light pillars erupt from the ground. As Sora saw this, Xion pounced towards him again, forcing him to dodge again. Shen then repeated it again and again, adding blue pillars to chase him as he dodged her attacks, until she finally stopped after the fifth attempt. As Sora looked at where that last attack landed, he saw Xion blitz towards him, still glowing gold as she began a vicious onslaught of slashes, each one faster and stronger than before, until she swung down hard and forced Sora to the ground.
As Sora hit the ground, he looked up to see Xion transform into the orb of light again and blitz down in front of him, reforming, still covered in the golden aura. She swung down hard again, but the boy blocked the attack and swung towards her. The girl saw that coming and once again turned into a light orb to move away from him. She then sent out four light pillars that went for Sora as she followed closely behind them. As Sora blocked the pillars, she swung at him once before retreating. She once again did the same thing she just did but from another angle. Sora once again blocked the four pillars, but as Xion attacked him, he dodged and countered, landing a solid hit on her stomach that made her stagger. Sora then took the opportunity to go on the offensive and hit her with Two Become One as many times as he could. As he attacked Xion, he could see her golden aura begin to give out, which let him know that this was working.
Xion once again escaped by turning into a light orb, but when she reformed a good distance away, she raised her blade and summoned many large golden pillars of light that encircled Sora, keeping him in place. The girl kept her blade raised as she summoned even more golden pillars of light that trailed towards Sora, who knew not to block these attacks. He waited for his moment and then quickly dodge rolled away from the pillars. Xion still had her blade raised as she once again made more golden pillars that would surround Sora, then made even more golden pillars to once again trail to Sora. The boy then dodged like he did last time. The girl was stubborn however and still had her blade up as she once again tried the exact same thing, only for Sora to once again dodge the golden pillars that were aimed towards him. She then finally decided to change things up.
The girl dashed far away and hovered in the air as she said "Get ready, Sora." pouring a massive amount of energy into the Kingdom Key as she raised it up with both arms. Suddenly the entire datascape was eclipsed in a golden light. Sora began to glow blue all around his body as he activated his flowmotion and charged directly towards Xion, poised to end this fight as fast as he could possibly manage. Xion herself also charged forward, ready to finish off Sora. Both Keyblade wielders moved so fast that all there could be seen was literal blurs of blue and golden streams of light, moving at hypersonic speeds, clashing against each other and creating large sparks and shockwaves with each strike. All while the battlefield glowed a golden hue.
Back in the real world, everyone was silent, just stunned at the spectacle that was unfolding in front of them. The teachers and principal were also looking at the battle unfold, but they could keep their cool.
Back in the datascape, the golden lights suddenly flashed brightly, before the Mock Cityscape went back to normal, but now Sora could be seen, as well as Xion. The girl had lost her golden glow and was sent flying as she let go of the Kingdom Key. The boy didn't waste any time and grabbed his opponent's weapon and used it against her. Sora, still covered in his blue aura, used his flowmotion to blitz to do the exact same thing that he did to Shoto in the sports festival, attacking multiple times from many different angle in rapid succession but this time it was much MUCH faster and it sent the girl spiraling up into the air for Sora to then get above her and slam her to the ground with his flowmotion powered hammer strikes. She hit the ground hard enough to crack the concrete.
[Silence]
Sora landed softly on the ground and held both the Kingdom Key and Two Become One in his hands. The boy watched as he saw Xion lay on the ground, unmoving. Sora then dropped the Kingdom Key and it vanished as he fell to his knees and caught his breath. The fight was over.
Back in the real world, the students were still completely silent, taking in what they just saw their fellow Hero Course student do. The teachers present were also silent, very impressed at what they just saw, but the homeroom teachers didn't show it in their faces. Nezu was also impressed as well, but was already silently thinking about how to modify Xion's difficulty for the other students to take her on, should they request that for training. Moogle looked at the principal and already knew what he was thinking, silently telling himself that he's gonna be with him for a while.
Back in the datascape, as Sora finally pushed himself to his feet, took out his second potion, and drank it. He could feel himself hurting much less than before, but there was still some minor pain here and there. He could at least walk without issue and that's what mattered to him. The boy then walked over to his opponent to see what her state is.
Xion's condition wasn't too serious. Her body was burned out from the constant fighting, and she was so exhausted that she physically couldn't move her body on her own. She was still conscious, but all she could do was look in front of her. The girl saw Sora looking at her, and she knew that she couldn't do anything to stop him. She closed her eyes and waited for the finishing blow.
[Play KH Concert -First Breath- Musique pour la Tristesse de Xion]
Xion could feel her body get pulled up, but then she felt her arm get wrapped around someone's shoulders. She then felt that person's arm wrap around her waist and keep her upright. The girl opened her eyes and saw Sora's face next to her face. She then realized that...Sora was taking her with him to wherever he was going.
Back in the real world, the students finally began to speak as they were now confused by Sora's actions. "Wait, what's he doing?" Rikido asked.
"He's...taking her with him." Ejiro said.
"But, why? Shouldn't he just break for the exit?" Tetsutetsu questioned.
"And leave someone as dangerous as Xion alone?" Tenya spoke up, thinking of a probable reason for this. "Nobody is there to seize her, so in a realistic scenario, should Sora just leave, that gives her the chance to escape."
"So he chooses to take her while she's unable to fight back, so he can properly turn her over?" Momo finished that claim. "It's possible."
"Either that, or Sora just can't leave someone like that." Ochako commented.
Back in the datascape, Xion uttered out "Why?"
"Because we're friends, Xion." Sora responded.
"When were we...friends?" The girl asked him.
Sora then went on to explain everything to her. He knew that nobody except Moogle was listening, so it was safe for him to tell her about the final battle against Xehanort, his accidental trip here, and how she came to be. At first, Xion didn't believe what Sora was saying, but as the boy spoke about their brief time together, she could feel the sincerity in his words. As Sora told her about this place being a datascape and how she was a copy, it felt like a light punch in the gut, but at this point, the girl had already gotten used to that happening to her, both metaphorically and literally.
The pair could see the exit gate in the distance as Xion said. "I see...and I understand." The tone in her voice let Sora know that she just sadly accepted this reality, which really didn't sit well with him.
"I'm sorry that it had to be like this Xion." The Keyblade wielder apologized to her. "I know that you've been hurt and used for most of your life."
"Not my life." The replica corrected him. "Her life."
"Same difference." Sora replied. "You still were used and I had to hurt you."
"It's fine, Sora." Xion reassured him. "I accept this, not because I'm used to it, but because I know that there's another me, that's happy, and free. I can rest easy knowing that."
The boy stopped moving as he heard that. He was a few feet away from the exit as he looked at Xion, who looked back at him. The boy then moved one of his arms to the girl's hood and pulled it back, revealing her face to him. He saw Xion as who she was. Black hair, blue eyes, and a face that looks a lot like Kairi's. "I'm glad that I could help, Xion."
The two then continued forward and as soon as they were passing through the exit gate, Xion told him "Best of luck on your adventure, Sora. Tell the real me and the others about it when we find you."
As Sora was being transferred out of the datascape, he assured her "I will."
As Xion fell to her knees and watched as the numbers around sora vanished with him, she then said "This is how it's supposed to be."
Back in the real world, Sora was back on the platform as everyone in the monetary room looked at him. Sora decided to keep himself in high spirits and said. "I knew she was strong, but she never went that crazy on me." He rubbed the back of his head and chuckled.
Kirishima and Tetsutetsu of course praised Sora on his manliness. Yaoyorozu, Shoto, and Iida were supportive of his tactics and how he managed to keep collateral damage to a minimum. Uraraka, Asui, and many other members of class 1-A were glad to see that Sora wasn't too hurt. Kendo and almost all of class 1-B had congratulated Sora on his victory. Shoji, Rin and others from both classes commented on Sora's immense strength, and then the announcement went off.
"Contestant Sora has passed the finals!"
I already said everything I needed to say at the top. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, and until I decide to upload again. ;)
