Chapter 70
[Silence]
Izuku, Tenya, Momo, Ejiro and Shoto all walked out of the hospital's front entrance together, mentally preparing themselves for what they were about to do. The class 1-A rep then spoke. "Midoriya...I shouldn't have hit you back there. I'm sorry. Forgive me."
The Class 1-A Deputy then spoke up. "I have some concerns, Iida. What exactly is your justification for changing your mind and joining us?"
"Hey, it's fine! You don't need to apologize!" The One For All user told Tenya.
"To be clear. I'm coming because I don't condone your behavior. It's as simple as that." Iida answered Yaoyorozu's question. "If there's even a hint that physical combat might break out, I'll make you retreat immediately. So in other words, I'm your watchman."
"Exactly what we needed." The ice user agreed with that logic.
"The same goes for me. Rescuing Bakugo and Sora is a job for the Pros. Objectively speaking there's no reason for any of us to go after them." Momo stated as she pulled out a receiver from her dress pocket. "However, I understand how each of you feels. I feel the same way as well, so I'm compromising. Don't forget that."
"Right." Todoroki replied.
"Understood." Kirishima agreed with that.

As the five students began traveling towards their destination, they boarded a bullet train and Yaoyorozu gave them the details about where they were going and when they would arrive. "The coordinates indicate Kamino Ward, Yokohama City in Kanagawa Prefecture. Our travel time will be about two hours from here. We should arrive at around 10:00 tonight."
"So um..." Izuku wondered something. "Did you tell the rest of the class about this? Do they know what we're doing tonight?"
"Yes." Shoto answered. "And they tried their best to talk us out of it."
"Yeah, even Uraraka tried to gang up on us and try to get us to change their minds." Ejiro told Izuku, explaining how Ochako felt that Bakugo and Sora wouldn't want this and that they would just make things worse. "Anyway..."
Todoroki noticed Izuku's conflicted look in his eyes and then spoke up. "Just to make sure. You know we're going against everyone's wishes and being completely selfish by doing this. We can call this off if we want to."
"Does it look like I want to turn back?" Kirishima replied. "Bakugo wouldn't think twice about going after the Villains if he were here. And Sora has always gone out of his way to help us whenever we're in trouble."
"What about you, Midoriya?" Shoto asked him.
"They're both my friends." Izuku answered as he remembered something that All Might once told him. After a brief moment of thought, his eyes once again had a determined glare as he looked Todoroki in the eyes and said "I refuse to turn back."
Tenya and Momo saw that there was no going back from this. Ejiro had the same determined look on his face as he agreed 100%. Shoto's expression didn't change as he replied. "I see. Alright then." There truly was no going back now, as the bullet train continued towards Kamino, and none of the five students planned on getting off on the stops before that.

Over at Kamino, in an isolated warehouse, a powerful struggle between light and darkness was happening under everyone's noses. Unbeknownst to the general populace, two powers were clashing against each other with the intent on taking down each other.
Oblivion and Void Gear clashed in the center of the dark dome that both Sora and Vanitas were inside. The two Keyblade wielders pushed against each other in an attempt to overpower one another. In spite of Sora's power being great, it was trumped by Vanitas' overwhelming strength and Sora was pushed back.
The guardian of light skidded back a few meters away, but the dark remnant didn't give Sora time to breath and pressed his attack, closing the distance and attacking Sora with multiple power strikes, breaking the boy's guard in just a few swings.
Vanitas then went for a follow up attack while Sora was staggered, but the boy risk dodged behind his opponent and then attempted to slash at Vanitas' back, only for the remnant to quickly turn around and parry the attempted back attack. "Too slow." Vanitas taunted before executing an upward slash and backflipping away with the momentum to both attack Sora and gain some distance between the pair.
Sora managed to regain his balance quickly enough for him to aim his Keyblade towards the airborne Vanitas and shoot a Fire spell towards him, but the attack was canceled out by Vanitas enveloping Void Gear with Dark Thunder magic and slashing the fireball with it. Vanitas then landed on the ground and shot a Crawling Fire spell.
The guardian of light knew how Vanitas' crawling fire worked and shot a water spell towards it, but Vanitas warped in front of his crawling fire and casted a Dark Fire spell to intercept the attack, evaporating the water instantly. The crawling fire then split into five fast moving fireballs that homed in on Sora's position.
Sora acted fast and casted Blizzard towards Vanitas and used his flowmotion to slide on the ice trail it left behind. The dark remnant sent out a wave of dark energy with a slash of Void Gear and destroyed the Blizzard spell, however Sora jumped over the dark energy wave and descended towards Vanitas. The two Keyblades clashed once again, but Sora pushed himself off of Vanitas and landed behind him once more, this time with five fireballs coming towards the dark remnant on the other end.
Sora slashed, but then saw Vanitas' body not retaliate as his blade went through his body. His body didn't even move either. The guardian of light then noticed the dark remnant's body become more and more transparent until it vanished. Sora attacked an afterimage, not the real thing. Then the five fireballs closed in on him.
The guardian of Light was quick enough to block the fireballs, but then felt himself getting colder as Vanitas berated him. "Pathetic." The dark remnant had warped behind Sora and froze the ground below Sora, before it traced up the boy's body and encompassed him completely. As Vanitas prepared to attack again, he saw Sora's frozen body surge with a luminescent purple light as the ice shattered off of his body.
Sora, now in his Dark Form, tapped into his focus energy and then executed his Bladefury Eclipse shotlock, shooting out 20 purple disk projectiles from Oblivion. Vanitas slashed Void Gear twice and created two more dark energy waves, cutting through the purple disks and canceling each other out, while creating a smokescreen in the middle of the area.
Vanitas fired out a third dark energy wave to clear out the dust cloud and saw Sora blitz towards him with his blade in reverse grip, attempting to use Zantetsuken, though the dark remnant could not help but think of Ventus charging at him. Vanitas stayed in place and allowed Sora to close the distance.
The guardian of light swung with all his might, and struck his opponent, but he didn't force Vanitas back. The dark remnant instead held strong, blocking the attack with Void Gear and pushing the boy back with his own power. Sora charged up his focus energy as he was pushed back and then executed his Dark Divide shotlock, shooting out dozens of purple energy blasts towards Vanitas.
"Tapping into darkness won't scale you up to me, Sora." Vanitas told him as he dove into the ground, then was soon launched out of it, spinning his body and sending out dozens of fireballs all around him that clashed with Sora's barrage of blasts, canceling each other out.
Sora sent out another barrage and Vanitas dove into the ground again, before getting launched out of it once more and sending out even more fireballs to clash with Sora's second barrage. The guardian of light did it a third time, and the dark remnant followed up by repeating his actions as well, forcing the two into a stalemate.
Sora then dropped to the ground and his body no longer had that purple glow, as he used up the power for it with that last attack. Vanitas didn't have a scratch on him as he looked to see Sora getting tired. "Don't give up on me yet!" The dark remnant exclaimed as he charged forward.
The guardian of light realized that Oblivion wasn't going to cut it for this fight, so he switched blades, blocking Void Gear with the Kingdom Key this time. If power wasn't going to work, then maybe technique would. He pushed himself away from Vanitas and charged up his focus energy, pouring it into the tip of the Kingdom Key and executing Ragnarok.
The dark remnant counted 24 projectiles and saw them all scatter and spiral around sporadically, though they all were clearly coming towards him. Vanitas simply put up a barrier around himself and when the blasts struck it, they dealt no damage, rendering Sora's attempt useless.
When Vanitas dispelled his barrier, Sora used his flowmotion to blitz towards the dark remnant and attack him, slashing downwards with all his strength as he clashed blades with Vanitas once more. His power strike elicited no negative reaction from Vanitas, as he just held the attack back with Void Gear.
The dark remnant broke the clash and pushed Sora back once more. He went on the offensive and swung his Keyblade horizontally towards the guardian of light, who barely managed to duck under the attack. As Sora recentered himself, he attempted a counter attack with an upwards slash, but Vanitas was fast and paired that attack.
When the dark remnant went for a thrust, Sora once again risk dodged out of Vanitas' way and attempted a back attack, only for Vanitas to once again leave an afterimage and warp behind Sora. Void Gear glowed bright blue at the tip as he was about to do the same freezing trick he did last time, but the guardian of light saw it coming and rolled back out of the way in time.
When Void Gear hit the ground, ice spikes erupted from the area where the tip of the blade was. Sora lunged back towards Vanitas and slashed through the spikes in his way, before thrusting the blade towards the dark remnant's face.
Vanitas leaned his head sideways and avoided the stab, then noticed Sora tilt the Kingdom Key so that it could be swung horizontally. The dark remnant knew what was coming and ducked under Sora's follow up attack. Taking advantage of this opening, Vanitas then rolled away from Sora and stood upright, shooting a dark Blizzard spell towards him. The guardian of light saw the attack coming and pointed the Kingdom Key towards the dark magic, countering it with a Fire spell before he landed back on his feet to continue the battle.
He just barely managed to get enough energy in his blade and he once again changed forms. His body now had an orange glow around it as he was now in Second Form. Sora didn't waste any time and charged towards his opponent, who was unphased by Sora's form change.
Vanitas once again defended himself against Sora's attacks, blocking and parrying the various swings that the guardian of light threw at him. However he was caught off guard when Sora summoned four orbs of light that orbited around him. The dark remnant jumped back to avoid the orbs, but as he was landing, Sora jumped back and twirled the Kingdom Key before thrusting the blade and himself forward with a powerful stab attack. Vanitas put up his guard but the attack broke through it, knocking him off balance. Sora didn't waste this opportunity and thrusted the Kingdom Key upwards, executing Ripple Drive to finish off his ground combo and push Vanitas back, finally gaining ground against his opponent.
The dark remnant skidded to a halt. "Congratulations. You hit me once." He taunted, before blitzing forward and attacking Sora again. The guardian of light had his guard up, but it was quickly broken by Vanitas again, who prepared to follow up with a stab of his own. Instead of risk dodging from this attack, Sora had another idea.
"ARS ARCANUM!" He shouted before the Kingdom Key was enveloped in the same orange glow that Sora sported. The boy then swung the Kingdom Key at Vanitas, who managed to block the first swing, only for another swing to follow it up that he was also forced to block, as well as another, and another, and another up to the point where he had to block 18 consecutive power strikes moving at ridiculous speeds.
"I've seen that move before." Vanitas spoke up before he warped out of the way of the last swing and saw Sora revert back to normal. Vanitas then took advantage of the opening and sent out a fast wave of dark energy, striking Sora and forcing the boy back a few meters. Vanitas then began to run towards his opponent.
The guardian of light saw the dark remnant run towards him, and pointed the tip of the Kingdom Key towards his opponent, casting out a Fire spell. Vanitas cartwheeled to the side to avoid it, before seeing Sora throw the Kingdom Key towards him, which he quickly parried. Sora caught the blade in his hands then pointed it up, casting Thunder, which Vanitas sidestepped to avoid before running towards his opponent once more.
Sora then used the last of his magic pool to cast Aero right in front of Vanitas, who couldn't avoid the spell in time and was sucked into the small current. The guardian of light then ran towards his opponent and jumped into his Aero spell, propelling himself up in the air, above the dark remnant.
The spell dispersed, flinging Vanitas up towards Sora, who then swung the Kingdom Key down with all his might. The dark remnant managed to block the attack, but before he could retaliate, he saw Sora body erupt with light again as he once again went into Second Form. Vanitas was once again on the defensive as Sora repeatedly attacked him in the air, backflipping multiple times as his blade was extended outwards like he was a rotating saw blade, then following that up with a strong downwards slash, to a vertical slash, to another strong downwards slash. Breaking Vanitas' guard once more. Taking advantage of the opportunity given to him, Sora twirled his body around and used Magnet Spiral to pull Vanitas in and blast him back, landing a second hit on the dark remnant.
Sora wasn't finished yet though, as he once again poured all his form's energy into the Kingdom Key and yelled out "SONIC BLADE!" Thrusting towards Vanitas.
The dark remnant regained his balance in the air and heard Sora's battle cry, so he responded with an attack of his own, having Void gear telekinetically spiral above his palm, before he extended his arm out and calmly announced his attack. "Dark Spiral." He charged forward as well.
The two charging Keyblade wielders blitzed past each other, striking and skidding blades in the process, before the two followed up with more charging thrusts, blitzing to and past each other with every repeated attempt until the two directly clashed on their seventh charge. The two pushed against each other, but Sora's strength wasn't able to match Vanitas who forced Sora back. Sora once again was back to normal and was still on the backfoot.
Vanitas grabbed the hilt of Void Gear and then charged towards Sora again, not giving the boy a chance to rest. He swung his Keyblade swiftly and watched as Sora struggled to defend himself from the onslaught of attacks. The dark remnant laughed as he kept attacking over and over again, forcing Sora to the edge of the dome before breaking the boy's guard with a strong downward slash.
Vanitas went in for a follow up, but Sora risk dodged out of the way and Void Gear struck the dome instead. Sora then countered with a series of slashes that Vanitas quickly blocked, but he was now against the edge of the dome with Sora attacking nonstop, attempting to overwhelm the dark remnant while he was backed into the corner.
Vanitas warped away, leaving an afterimage that Sora swung at and slashed through, catching Sora off guard for a brief moment, before turning around and seeing Vanitas attempt a back attack, Mustering all the power he currently had, Sora forced himself back into Second Form one more time and screamed "STUN IMPACT!" creating a red dome with orange electric sparks around his body and forcing Vanitas to jump away from him.
As Vanitas was in the air, he taunted Sora once more. "Is that really all you got? You're even worse than Ventus was when I first fought him."
Sora realized that the Kingdom Key wasn't going to work either, so he immediately switched blades and charged up his focus energy, he briefly glowed white before yelling "JUDGEMENT!" throwing Two Become One towards Vanitas.
He saw the attack coming and knocked the blade away, only for it to ricochet off the dome wall and back to him, forcing him to guard again. Then the blade once again went from the dome back to him, then again, then again. "This is just like Ventus' Wind Raid attack." He commented as he kept deflecting Two become One away from him until it went back into Sora's hands.
Sora then used his flowmotion to blitz towards Vanitas and swipe at him, but the Dark Remnant backflipped away and enveloped Void Gear in Dark Thunder and swept the area in front of him with it. Sora rolled out of the way and very quickly gathered some more focus energy, before once again glowing white and throwing Two Become One to Vanitas.
The dark Remnant deflected the attack away from him and prepared for the ricochet, only to see the blade vanish and reappear in Sora's hands for him to throw it a second time, which was also deflected away. The blade appeared in Sora's hands again and he threw it to Vanitas who again deflected it, only for this action to be repeated a fourth time yielding the same result. When Two Become One appeared in Sora's hands a fifth time and he threw it, The dark remnant changed his strategy.
Vanitas leaned to the side to avoid the attack, before catching it by the hilt and throwing it back towards Sora, who wasn't prepared for that and couldn't avoid his blade from striking him head on, launching him back to the edge of the dome.
Sora then saw Vanitas shake his head in mock disappointment. "Man, you are worthless." He said.
The guardian of light was getting agitated as he charged up what remaining focus energy he had and then used it up for one last shotlock. His body glowed blue as he executed Wisdom Barrage, sliding across the floor as he sent out multiple bursts of blue magic blasts in quick succession.
Vanitas scoffed and dove into the ground once more, erupting out of the center of the area while casting dozens of fireballs all around him, clashing with and canceling out the blue magic blasts that Sora sent out. The dark remnant landed on the ground unscathed, while Sora was panting, getting tired from the fight and how much it was dragging on. "Dang it..."
"Done already?" Vanitas mocked him.
"Not...even...close!" The guardian of light responded as he used his flowmotion to blitz towards the dark remnant, who charged towards Sora so fast that he looked like a black streak. The two met head on and a streak of blue and black zoomed around the inside of the dome, sparks coming off of the streaks as they continuously struck one another in a battle of blinding speed.
The two streaks clashed once more in the middle of the area before they both blitzed to opposite sides. Vanitas and Sora each skidded to a halt. The dark remnant rolled his shoulders before getting back into his combat stance, while the guardian of light threw Two Become One in the air and erupted with light.
When the light subsided he had a red glow around him as Two Become One's black and silver pieces split apart from each other and formed the Twin Blades. Sora caught the blades and assumed his Valor Form stance.
This actually put Vanitas on alert. He knew about the blade, because he saw Sora summon it against Stain, but he never directly saw Sora's three forms that came with it or what these forms could do. As he prepared himself for an actual potential fight, he saw Sora sprint towards him at an incredible speed. Vanitas quickly put his guard up.
The guardian of light went on the offensive and took advantage of his increased speed and dual weapons, striking swiftly and rapidly, always having at least two swipes in every single attack he threw out. He noticed that he was finally gaining ground against his opponent, which only drove him to press his attack.
The dark remnant dodged the next pair of slashes and jumped up to try and gain some distance and analyze his situation, but Sora didn't give him time to rest as he jumped up after him, surprising Vanitas as he once again raised his guard and blocked the aerial onslaught.
As Sora kept attacking, Vanitas felt something familiar about how the boy was fighting, and then recognized something. Double slashes, constant follow up attacks, relentless physical offense. It was just like Ventus' Fever Pitch Style.
As Vanitas recognized the pattern, he began to remember how he fought against this way back when. He blocked the first slash, to then parry the second attack and stop a follow up. He backed away and allowed Sora to pursue him, only to leave an after image and warp behind the boy and attempt his freezing slam attack.
Sora barely managed to turn around and parry the slam attack, but he was still pushed back a bit. He then realized that Vanitas was beginning to adapt to his current form. The dark remnant went on the attack, recognizing that while Valor form was good for offence, it wasn't the best for defense when the opponent had the same speed and reflexes as he does. Vanitas once again had the advantage, picking apart Sora's combat style and preventing the boy from going on the attack.
The guardian of light knew he had to act fast if he wanted to regain any ground, so he took it up a notch and his body erupted with light once more, pushing Vanitas back for a brief moment before he once again charged forward, only to be stopped by Sora's black blade telekinetically swinging towards him, forcing the dark remnant to block it.
Sora's body had a yellow glow around it now as he went into Master Form, taking up a new combat stance after calling his black blade back to him, letting it hover near his right hand. He watched as Vanitas casted a crawling fire, then had it split into five fireballs. The guardian of light countered this attack with a Blizzard Spell, casting a spread shot of ice from his silver blade that cancelled out the fireballs and had one cold blast head for the dark remnant.
Vanitas jumped out of the way and then casted a barrage of dark Blizzard spells towards Sora, only to watch him create five fireballs and let them orbit around him, destroying the ice attacks that went for him. "Looks like his magic is powered up in this state."
The dark remnant then charged towards Sora when the guardian of light's fire spell dissipated. He closed the distance fast and slashed at the boy, but his attack was blocked by a more powerful barrier. Vanitas warped away when the barrier dispersed itself, then appeared above Sora and swung down towards him.
The guardian of light noticed his opponent in time and cartwheeled away, casting thunder magic as he did so. Multiple bolts of electricity came down towards Vanitas, but another afterimage was left as Vanitas warped away again, only to warp behind Sora and attempt a back attack, to which Sora stopped with his telekinetically controlled black blade.
Vanitas used his strength to force the blade out of his way and attack Sora, but the guardian of light jumped into the air to avoid the attack. The dark remnant gave pursuit and attempted to slash him back down to the ground, but the boy aerial dodged out of the way of his second attack and began to attack Vanitas in the air. Sora used the silver blade in his hand, in conjunction with the black blade he telekinetically controlled to once again fight off Vanitas' pursuit and push the dark remnant back again.
As Sora kept attacking, Vanitas once again began to recognize how Sora was fighting. When Sora swung the blades the way he did in this new form, he was moving extremely similar to how Ventus did in his Cyclone style, with the only difference being that Sora had improved magic, though it was not as good as Aqua's when she was in her Spellweaver style. Upon learning that, he once again began to adapt to Sora's combat style, blocking the telekinetically controlled black blade and parrying the silver blade in the boy's hands.
Once Vanitas saw an opening, he struck the guardian of light away from him, then saw Sora twirl his body around exactly like Ventus would in his Cyclone style, only confirming his suspicions. The dark remnant jammed Void Gear's tip into the ground as Sora attempted to suck him into this cyclone attack, keeping himself grounded until Sora finished the attack.
The guardian of light landed on the ground and realized that Vanitas had once again adapted to his new fighting style and form. As the dark remnant took Void Gear out of the ground, Sora took it to the next level and erupted with light once more. When it faded, he had a silver glow around him and both blades telekinetically hovered behind his back like a pair of wings.
Vanitas saw how the blades looked like a pair of wings behind his opponent and had a feeling that Sora's new form was going to be similar to Ventus' Wingblade style, so he prepared to defend himself the way he defended against Ventus, when he used that style against him.
Sora flew forward and swung his arms forward, making the blades swing from around his back and in front of his body and strike against Vanitas's blade with incredible power. The dark remnant, though prepared for the attack, had to put in more effort to block the attack and keep his guard up. The guardian of light noticed his opponents struggle and pressed his attack, letting out a fast and powerful onslaught of slashes with his twin blades.
Vanitas was finally getting pushed back, and both swordsmen knew this. Before Sora could be allowed to gain any more ground, the dark remnant decided to finally kick it up a notch and had two silhouette clones jump out of his body and attack Sora, forcing the guardian of light to put up a barrier to defend himself.
The two clones hit the barrier, but vanished when the barrier was about to redirect the attacks back to their senders. Once the barrier dissipated, the two cones reappeared and attacked Sora again, but the twin blades intercepted the attacks before they could connect to the boy. Sora pushed the two clones back and decided to take another approach.
The guardian of light casted Blizzard, shooting out multiple large ice blasts towards the clones, but they evaded the ice attacks and attempted a pincer maneuver, coming in from Sora's right and left side, while the real Vanitas blitzed towards him from the front. The boy casted fire around himself to force them to back off, but when the fire eventually dissipated, the three immediately went back after him.
Sora then casted thunder and conjured three strong electrical bolts that cut off the three from reaching him. The guardian of light then immediately casted Aero and watched as the two silhouettes were pulled in towards the spell, but the dark remnant has his blade jammed in the ground again to keep from being sucked in.
Sora was about to go after him, but the two silhouettes that were in the Aero spell began to slash at the boy, making him use the twin blades to defend himself until the Aero spell finished it's cyclone and blasted the two away from him. As looked back to where Vanitas was, he saw that the dark remnant was gone. Before he could cast a barrier around himself, he felt Void Gear strike his side and he was launched away.
One of the silhouettes was waiting for him and then followed up that attack with a swing of its own, slamming Sora's body away from it and towards the second silhouette, which swung its blade at the boy too. The guardian of light was launched away again and he soon tumbled to the floor, forcibly reverting back to normal as he ran out of time in that form.
[Silence]
"I was expecting you to be more of a hassle with those forms of yours, Sora." Vanitas commented as the two silhouettes landed on each side of him and dissipated. "But all you really did was fight like Ventus in his different styles."
Sora pushed himself back to his feet and switched back to Oblivion again. The guardian of light growled before he charged towards his dark twin once more.
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST All For One]
Just outside of the dome, there was another person, an unconscious woman. She was strapped to a table and stripped naked, only being covered by a white sheet. She had green hair and when she opened her eyes, they were yellow in color. It was Ragdoll.
The yellow Pussycat was quickly put on alert when she woke up and noticed the situation she was in. There were a few dark implications as to what might happen to her, and she did not want to be around to see if those would come to pass. She struggled to break free from her restraints, but realized that she couldn't. She then heard the sound of a struggle.
Ragdoll turned her head and saw a dark purplish dome nearby. Inside the dome, she saw Sora fighting for his life against a Villain who was using abilities similar to his. She could see that Sora was on the backfoot and needed help. Even though she couldn't break free, she still desperately tried to, not only to get out of there, but to also try and rescue and protect Sora.
"Grrrrrrrrr. Nghhh! Hnnnnnnnnnnng! Damn it!" She cursed her weak body strength.
"I see you've woken up, dear Ragdoll." A voice unfamiliar to her spoke from the shadows. "I must admit, I wasn't expecting you to regain consciousness after the Heartless roughed you up." The yellow Pussycat continued to struggle, much to the amusement of this man. "It must be painful, seeing a child in danger right in front of you, and being unable to do anything about it. Even without those restraints holding you back, you wouldn't be able to break through the dome to reach him."
"Shut up!" Ragdoll yelled out as she continued to struggle in vain.
"Why should I?" The voice questioned. "I'm only telling you to not waste your energy on trying to escape."
"I don't care!" She loudly replied as she continued to struggle.
"Well then, don't blame me if you die from exhaustion, after I'm done with you." All For One told her as he stepped out of the shadows and extended his hand out towards her head. "My quirk can be very fatal to those who aren't fully healthy."
The yellow Pussycat struggled even harder, fearing what might happen to her as she desperately tried to break a restraint and not get touched by the man in front of her. As much as she tried to, she couldn't break free and she felt his hand firmly grasp her head, before suddenly feeling an immense pull inside her body, as if something was getting ripped out from her, before blacking out.
A red glow appeared from the palm of All For One's hand as he watched the quirk of the Pro Hero get forcefully taken out of her, and given to him. He turned around and looked in the dome and he could see two sparks. One was bright yellow, and the other was dark purple. He then laughed as he now acquired the 'Search' quirk for himself. He then contacted the doctor. "Good Doctor, I require your services again, this time involving a new Quirk I have acquired." He then was warped away by the black ooze.
[Silence]
Elsewhere in Kamino, the 5 U.A. students got off the train and onto the streets. "So this is Kamino ward." Izuku said.
"It's so crowded." Shoto commented.
"Those Villains are hiding somewhere in this city." Ejiro stated as he prepared to charge forward. "Just tell me where to go!"
"Wait a second!" An annoyed Momo exclaimed. "From now on, we're going to need to be extremely careful. These criminals already know what we look like, remember? We have to consider that we could be attacked at any moment."
"Yeah, you're right." The One For All user realized before he crossed his arms over his face like he was striking a pose. "Stealth mode."
"You're standing out even more, Midoriya." Todoroki told him.
"We won't be able to scout effectively if we're recognizable." The class rep stated.
"Kay, so what should we do?" Kirishima asked.
"I have an idea...though it is a bit old school." Yaoyorozu pointed towards a cheap clothing shop behind her. She seemed embarrassed, like the idea of going to a place this cheap was beneath her, but the others were fine with the idea and followed her inside the shop.

After all five students found clothes their sizes as well as accessories, for their faces and hair, and hair products, they all went into changing rooms and got into their disguises. Izuku was the first one out. He wore a loose purple v neck t shirt and a yellow beaded necklace under a dark blue overshirt with matching colored pants. He had white sunglasses with yellow lenses, and a fake goatee on his chin. "Yo fool! Whatchu lookin at!?" He imitated Present Mic's street slang in an aggressive way to sound like a punk.
Shoto came out next, wearing a purple dress suit with a gold chain in the pocket, a yellow beaded necklace under the dress shirt, and he had a black wig with bangs big enough to hide his scar. "This is me, incognito." He said.
Momo was next and she came out with a puffy pink dress, a gold bracelet on each wrist, a gold colored necklace, and white sunglasses with blue lenses. She also changed her hairstyle to make her ponytail more poofy, instead of spiky and had two strands hang over the front of her instead of one. "Now we'll blend in perfectly."
Tenya came out of his changing room next, sporting black pants with yellow and red striped suspenders over a white button up collared shirt and a red bow tie. He changed the look of his hair to have it combed back over the top of his head and he also had fake facial hair in the form of a pencil moustache. "I feel so ridiculous." He said as he adjusted his bow tie.
Ejiro was the last one out and he sported dark brown pants with a metal belt, and a white v neck t-shirt under a dark brown overshirt. He also had a metal belt with two yellow chains clipped onto it while wearing a yellow metal bracelet on his right arm, and fake horns on his red hair, which he brushed in a way so that his hair would be down, instead of spiked up. "I dunno. I kind of dig it."
After the class deputy paid for the stuff, they left the store, prepared for their stealth mission. As they went back to the streets, Midoriya was practicing his punk attitude. "Watch it you punk! Get lost!" He said.
"That's all wrong." Kirishima told him. "You gotta stick your chin out more."
Taking that advice, Izuku put more oomph into his performance and also stuck his chin out a bit more. "YOU TALKIN TA ME!?"
"That's it!" Ejiro said.
"We're just a few scoundrels cruizin for hot girls!" Iida also practiced his ruffian persona.
"Close enough." Kirishima was content with that performance.
"Great disguises." Yaoyorozu said with pride. "We'd stand out in this district dressed like kids."
"Yaoyorozu, couldn't you have just used your quirk for this to save money?" Todoroki pointed out.
[Silence]
"Well technically, but that's against the rules!" She replied with over exaggerated scrambling. "If I started making everything, think of the impact on the economy! We must ensure the flow of commerce! That's right! It's our civic duty! As citizens!"
"...Sure..." Shoto left it at that.
Momo then took point, acting like a mature woman. "Everyone, our destination is this way."
"Whoa! It's U.A. High!" A civilian called out, which got the attention of the disguised kids.
"HUUUH!?" Midoriya kept up his punk attitude before looking up to one of the news bulletins to see that what the civilian meant wasn't them, but a news broadcast that showed Principal Nezu, Mr. Aizawa and Vlad King in the middle of a press conference.
"Let's return to a short clip from the U.A. Highschool press conference that just wrapped up." A News reporter said before the clip began to play.
The five U.A. kids had their eyes on the screen. "Mr. Aizawa..." Izuku recognized their homeroom teacher.
"Vlad King and the Principal..." Yaoyorozu recognized the other two on the screen as well.

On the screen Aizawa was the first to speak. "We are here to apologize. A recent incident allowed harm to come to 28 first year heroes, and we staff were ill prepared. We take full responsibility for any trauma caused by our negligence. It's our duty to train Heroes, but also to protect Heroes in training."
"This is crazy. He hates being on TV." Ejiro commented.
"I'll take the first question." A reporter in the recording spoke up. "Since the beginning of the year, U.A. students have had four encounters with Villains. This time, there were students who were gravely injured. How did you explain this to their families? And what are some of the specific steps you are taking to ensure their safety in the future?"
Izuku could see through that question as U.A. didn't cancel the Sports Festival after the U.S.J. attack, and knew that the media was trying to make U.A. look bad. "They're treating them like...Villains."
"We will increase patrols around the school grounds, and review security measures within the school." Nezu had replied to that reporter. "The safety of U.A. students is our main priority, make no mistake about it."
"Eugh. What are these dudes thinking?" "They're gonna get those kids killed." "They should be ashamed." "Increase patrols? Gimme a break!" "What about the rest of us?" The mood had changed in the crowd. The people that once looked at U.A. and the Heroes that protected them fondly, were now turning against them, due to the lack of protection and ever repeating failures that were adding up.
Back at the bar, the TV showed the same news recording on its screen, before it was shut off by Tomura, who looked over to Katsuki. "Isn't that strange?" He asked him. "The Heroes are becoming the bad guys. Seems like they're not dealing with this very well at all. So much criticism. But everyone makes a mistake or two right? It's not like they're supposed to be perfect. Modern day Heroes sure have it rough. Don't you think, Bakugo?"
"Once a Hero receives payment to protect people, they aren't a real Hero anymore." Spinner spoke up. "That's what Stain's actions taught us."
"A Hero in this current system only cares about money and glory." Shigaraki rode with that, even though he didn't care about Stain's ideals at all. "And since society buys into those idiotic rules, anyone deemed a loser is shoved aside. So we want to pose some questions. What is a Hero? What is Justice? Is this society truly fair? Soon, everyone will be asking. That's when we'll know we've won. And you like winning, don't you?"
Katsuki kept his murderous glare on Tomura, staying silent and letting his expression do the talking for him.

Back in the warehouse that the Nomu were being stored in, Sora was knocked back to the edge of the dark barrier from a powerful attack that was sent by Vanitas. The boy hit the edge of the dome hard and landed on his rear as his back rested on the edge of the dome. He felt something leave his pocket, but he didn't see what it was.
Vanitas meanwhile, let out a long sigh as he was beginning to get bored of beating Sora around. "This is starting to get a bit dull now, Sora." He said as he looked back to the silhouette that was recording this event. "I think it's time that I finish this and then move on to sending your friends these precious little moments, wouldn't you agree, brother?"
The guardian of light looked just a few inches past his feet and saw what had fallen out of his pocket. It was Kairi's good luck charm. When he saw that and heard Vanitas talking about his friends and said the words 'precious little moments', many memories came into Sora's head.
The first was of Kairi giving Sora her good luck charm the first time, promising to give it back. Then it flashed forward to him waking up in Twilight Town with Jiminy's journal saying 'Thank Namine'. Flash forward again to Kairi giving him the charm shortly after he returned it to her, promising to stay safe. Flash forward again to He and Riku at the end of their mark of Mastery exams and his promise to catch up to his friend and become a master. Flash forward again to when Sora promised Donald and Goofy to be good and come back safe before he went to rescue Riku, Mickey and Aqua in the realm of Darkness.
Then more recent memories flashed through his head. The letters he received back when he had recently met Izuku and Yagi, and his promise he made to come back, as well as to introduce his friends to Midoriya. Flash forward to when he promised Inko that he would help her son accel in U.A. as well as stay safe. Flash forward again to when he promised to see Shinzo in the Hero course back at the sports festival. Flash forward again to when he promised to help out Mei with testing out her babies, whenever she asked him to. Flash forward again to his promise to Mirio for a rematch back at the internships as well as his promise to Nighteye to come back again. Flash forward again to when he made a promise to Midnight during the love related training exercise to never let anyone die or end up in misery when he was on the job.
More and more memories of him and his fellow U.A students, as well as his memories with his fellow guardians of light came into his head and his expression changed from one of uncertainty and tiredness, to one of complete unfaltering determination. He grabbed the good luck charm and stood up. "You're not gonna win, Vanitas."
"Oh?" The dark remnant replied. "What could possibly make you think that is even remotely possible after all you've been through?"
"Because I made a promise." The Keyblade wielder said with a confident smile on his face, which he knew was irritating his dark twin. "I promised Kairi that I would come back home, safe and sound. I promised Namine that I would thank her for what she did for me. I promised Riku that I would catch up to him and become a Keyblade Master. I promised Donald, Goofy, and all the others that I would come back home to them." The good luck charm faintly began to glow. "I promised Izuku that I would introduce him to my friends. I promised his mother that I would keep him safe and help him become one of the best Heroes. I promised Hitoshi that I would see him in the Hero course. I promised Mei that I would help test out her babies whenever she asked. I promised Mirio that he and I would have a rematch. I promised Sir that I would work with him again. And I promised to Nermuri Kayama that I will never, EVER allow someone to die or live a life of misery when I become a Pro Hero." The charm's glow began to brighten, as Sora said one final thing with absolute certainty. "I have NEVER broken my promises before, and will NOT break them, NOW OR EVER!"
The good luck charm's light radiated to the point where the light was almost blinding, as the Oblivion Keyblade suddenly vanished and in its place came another familiar Keyblade. The Keyblade with the kanji for light on it's teeth. The Keyblade with a silver color. The Keyblade with a feathery hilt design. Sora summoned Oathkeeper. The boy then raised the blade and poured all of his magic into it, before a green hue washed over him. Some of his scratches healed up, he wasn't feeling as much pain as he was before, and he felt slightly rejuvenated. He finally remembered how to use the Cure spell.

Vanitas grunted before taking a quick breath to regain his cool and speak up again. "Yeah, yeah, the whole 'my friends are my power' shtick." He got into his battle stance again. "Your words don't mean anything if you don't back them up. If you think that new Keyblade is gonna help you beat me, allow me to prove you wrong." He blitzed towards the cornered Sora, prepared to prove him wrong and break his spirit, while Sora got into his battle stance and prepared to continue the fight.
AAAAAAAND CUT! I'm ending the chapter here, for a few reasons. First off, this isn't going to be like the Hosu chapter, that's double in length, because I didn't feel like I needed to keep writing. Secondly, it's been a month since I last posted a chapter on THIS fic. Thirdly, I was close to finishing it up and I was in an MHA and KH mood again. SO yeah! The chapter is out for everyone to read. Sora has now regained Oathkeeper and Cure, however Vanitas has already shown that he can handle Sora's power with little effort. (Like how the Remnant always handles business with us players in BBS on the first attempt, amirite?) Will this power be enough to even the odds? Heck no. But it'll help him last longer.
