Chapter 76
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Unwind]
After about five minutes of walking, and picking up any machinery that fell out of Mei's cart, Sora and Hatsume eventually made it to the Development Studio. Where Power Loader and Moogle were busy with something, until the Support Course student slammed the door open and announced her presence "I'm back with my babies!"
Power Loader stopped to greet her. "I'm guessing something happened while transporting them?"
"Yep!" Mei answered, before going in depth as to what happened, prior to coming here.
After she finished her explanation, Power Loader face palmed and spoke up. "Hatsume...I know I told you to clean out the studio, but I didn't mean you should bring all those support items to your dorm room."
"Where else can I put them then?" She asked him. "I don't have anywhere else to store my babies."
"Well, we'd really be in trouble if this happened again in the dorms, so..." The Support Course teacher thought about it for a moment before begrudgingly coming to a conclusion. "Fine. Leave them in the studio."
"Gee, thanks." Mei replied. "Wish you agreed to that sooner, teach."
"But before you do..." He added a condition. "You're going to apologize to Sora, Todoroki, and Recovery Girl. If you don't, then I'm suspending you for a day."
As if on a fear driven impulse, she very quickly got onto her knees and bowed in front of the Keyblade wielder's feet. "So sorry for all the trouble!" She then jumped back up to her feet and turned towards Power Loader. "I don't know where the other two are! Can you help me find them, Mr. Power Loader?!"
The support course teacher sighed before exiting the studio. "Follow me, Hatsume."
"THANK YOU SO MUCH, TEACH!" She screamed before following him.
Sora just watched with a dumbfounded expression on his face, before turning to face Moogle, who decided to give an explanation. "She practically lives here, Kupo. The only leverage that Power Loader has over her is his ability to kick her out via a suspension, Kupo."
"A bit extreme though, don't you think?" The Keyblade wielder commented.
"Did you forget that this is Hatsume we are talking about, Kupo?" The merchant reminded him.
"Oh, yeah. She can be a bit much sometimes." Sora remembered.
"Imagine every day, Kupo." Moogle told him, before changing the subject. "By the way, now that you're here, two things, Kupo. First off, here's your phone, Kupo." He handed Sora his gummiphone. "I did a thorough sweep of it, and couldn't find anything that would indicate that it was tapped, Kupo."
"Uh..." Sora was not that attuned with tech talk.
"Ugh...Nobody is going to be spying on us with your phone, Kupo." Moogle simplified.
"Ohhhhhh." The Keyblade wielder got it now. "Thanks."
[Silence]
"And secondly, There's something I wanted to ask you about, involving Vanitas, Kupo." Moogle said to him, as the two were currently alone in the studio.
"...Go ahead." Sora replied.
[Play KH3 OST Has Beens -cutscene-]
"How much explaining are we going to have to do involving your connection to him, Kupo?" The merchant asked.
"Well apparently, Vanitas called me his brother in front of my classmates, back at camp." Sora said. "So there's that."
"Did they see his face, Kupo?" Moogle brought up.
"No. They would have brought that up if they had." Sora pointed out, knowing that the fact that those two look identical except in eye and hair color would have made anyone question him about that.
"Well, at least there's that, Kupo." Moogle was slightly relieved. "Aside from that, another thing I needed to talk to you about involving him is this, Kupo." He showed Sora a flash drive.
"What's that?" The Keyblade wielder asked.
"This drive contains copies of the videos with him in them, Kupo." The chibi merchant explained. "Long story short, I plan to add this data to the data we already have on Vanitas in U.A.'s database, so that way you can practice fighting against this new and improved Vanitas, Kupo."
"Wait, you can do that?" Sora questioned.
"I did it before with your memory files, Kupo." Moogle reminded him. "It'll take about a day to transmit and properly calibrate it, Kupo. But I wanted to inform you about it so that you can start training as soon as it is done, Kupo."
After taking that in, Sora spoke up. "Thanks. This'll really help me out, Moogle. So how will we do the whole training against him?"
"Basically, it'll be the same thing we did involving how you tested the data battles before, Kupo." Moogle explained. "However, when you beat Vanitas this time, I'll modify and raise his difficulty, Kupo. We'll do at least ten matches per day, if that's okay with you, Kupo."
"Sounds like a plan." The Keyblade wielder was fine with that.
[Silence]
"In the meantime, you should probably make a few calls, Kupo." Moogle suggested. "While there's plenty of friends that want to see you here, there's some people that you can only talk to through the phone, Kupo."
The Keyblade wielder understood where Moogle was going with this and began to leave the studio. "So, what time tomorrow should we start the training?"
"Right after school is done, Kupo." The Merchant told him. "Best to get it started as soon as possible, Kupo."
"Alright. Well, I'll see you then." Sora said before leaving the studio.

As he walked through the empty halls of U.A. High, he looked through his contacts until he found one specific name, and called it. After a few rings, the familiar blonde girl came up on the screen. "Hello?"
"Hey, Melissa. It's me." Sora responded.
"Sora!? Oh my gosh! I'm so happy that you called!" Shield replied. "Are you doing okay? After what happened, I was worried sick about you! I know Uncle Might saved you and all, but I still wasn't sure."
"I'm doing much better now. Thanks." The Keyblade wielder informed her. "After All Might saved me, I was taken to a hospital and made a quick recovery there."
"Hoooo. You have no idea how relieving it is for me to hear that." She said with a sigh before changing the subject. "So what's going on with you now?"
"Well, I just got my phone back from Moogle." Sora told Melissa. "He checked it to see if anyone could spy on me through it, and he said that it was clean."
"Well if Moogle says it's clean, then there's no doubt about it." Shield replied, remembering how tech savvy the chibi merchant was back on I-Island.
Sora chuckled at that before continuing on. "I'm also moving into the new dorms that U.A. made for the students, so I'm kind of doing what you're doing, living at the school and all."
Melissa giggled at that comparison. "Take it from me, it's a lot more convenient when you have to do anything school related."
"Yeah. And I also get to sleep on a bed now, instead of my friend's couch." Sora added, making them both laugh for a moment.
"That would be a highlight, wouldn't it." She agreed with him, before noticing the time. "Oh, I'm sorry, but I need to get going. I have to finish this new support item by tomorrow, or it'll be heck to pay. Thanks for calling me though. I really enjoyed talking to you again, Sora."
"It was nice to talk to you too." The Keyblade wielder shared the sentiment.
"Oh, if you run into Deku, tell him I said hi." Shield requested.
"Sure thing, Melissa." Sora replied. "Talk to you later."
"Later." She responded before ending the call.
Sora smiled, happy to see that Melissa Shield was still doing good, even after the stuff that happened back on the islands. After making his way to his offworld friends' contact info, he sent his regularly made messages to them, updating them on his current situation and how he was feeling. Even though he didn't know if said friends were even receiving these messages, he still sent them anyway, because that's just how he is.
[Silence]
Before Sore left the building however, he decided to take a detour to the principal's office. He knocked on the door and heard a response. "Who is it?"
"It's Sora." He answered.
Nezu opened the door. "Come in." The boy did so and the principal spoke once more. "What brings you here? Is it something to do with the dormitory?"
"Actually, I was wondering if you could help me out with something involving Vanitas." Sora stated.
"You're referring to how that Villainous twin of yours leaked confidential information about your life prior to enrolling here?" The principal said.
"Yeah." The Keyblade wielder confirmed. "I was wondering if you could help me come up with a cover story about him and I being brothers. I honestly can't figure out a way to explain that."
"Well you've come to the right mammal." Nezu assured him. "But before I can help you create this cover story, I'll need to know more about your history with Vanitas. Can you tell me all of your memories with him?"
"Uh, sure." Sora said before beginning to elaborate.
[Play KH Project Destati: DARK -Ventus-]
It didn't take long as Sora didn't really have too much of a history with Vanitas personally, but he still had plenty of things that Nezu could use. The shared Keyblade abilities helps tie them together as brothers, along with the fact that they do have indistinguishable features, however. The biggest issue was that Sora had already said that he was but also wasn't brothers with Vanitas, which meant one of two things had to be said. Either they are 'blood related' but Sora does not view Vanitas as a brother, or they aren't related, but are considered family by unconventional means. "Hmm...I'm close to figuring something out, but I'm missing one final piece. Tell me Sora, did Vanitas ever explain to you why the two of you looked identical, and how he views you as a brother?"
"Huh? Uh, yeah." The boy answered. "It was weird how he said it though."
"May I hear it?" The principal requested.
"Ok." Sora replied before quoting his dark twin. "He said 'I am the piece of Ventus that was taken away, and you're the piece Ventus needed to be whole again. So why shouldn't you and I look exactly the same? You define me, Sora. The same way that Ventus does. We are brothers who together make a greater whole.' and that's it."
After hearing that, Nezu had an idea almost instantly. "That's it. Of course. The answer is obvious."
"It is?" The Keyblade wielder asked.
"Quite so." The principal replied. "You and he are both brothers to Ventus, correct?" Sora nodded to that. "So the answer is simple. Vanitas' parenthood and your parenthood can be completely different from one another, but through Ventus having one of each of your parents as his own, you are both brothers by virtue of Ventus being your brother."
"Wait...what?" Sora didn't get it.
"I'll simplify it further for you." Nezu said. "We'll say that You and Ventus share the same mother, but that Ventus and Vanitas share the same father. That way, you can be considered brothers, but also not brothers."
"Wait, you want me to say that my mom had Ven? But she's gone. And she never was with anyone other than my dad." Sora wasn't too keen with this idea.
"We can say that Ventus moved away with his father, after those two had a healthy divorce. Then soon after your mother married your father and happily moved on with her life." Nezu went into detail. "Ventus is technically older than you, and also, it will help explain why you don't have much of a history with either him or Vanitas, as they lived with their 'father' while you lived with you and Ventus' 'shared' mother, far away from each other."
"I..." Sora was still unsure about this, as he REALLY didn't want to associate Vanitas with his actual family, and while this didn't necessarily do that, it still didn't sit too well with him.
Nezu could see this was difficult for the boy. "I understand the difficulty of keeping secrets, especially when said secrets involve personal affairs, so I'll let you decide whether or not you want to use this cover, but it is the most sound story that you could use."
"Thank you for helping me, Principal Nezu." Sora said before leaving.
"It's the least I can do." He said as his student left.
As Sora left the building, he thought about what Nezu had proposed, as he knew that he was going to have to explain the whole 'brothers' thing to his classmates sooner or later, but this lie was harder for him than saying that Ansem possessed Terra, when it was actually Master Xehanort. It was probably because it was specifically associated with himself, and not someone else.
[Silence]
After a while, he decided to put a pin in that thought, as he had other things to do now. One of which was right in front of him, as he was standing in front of a dormitory with 3-A labeled on it. Before knocking on the door.
A female student with short reddish colored hair that was about two years older than him answered the door and looked at the boy. "Um...Can I help you?"
"Hi. I was wondering. Is there a Mirio Togata here?" Sora asked.
"He's in class 3-B. This is the 3-A dorm." The girl answered.
"Oh." The Keyblade wielder replied. "Well, what about a Tamaki Amajiki?"
"He's here. Why?" The third year girl asked.
"I'm a friend of theirs and I wanted to come say hi to them." Sora answered.
"We're all still busy unpacking our stuff though. I mean, if you..." She got interrupted by another female voice.
"Hey, Yuyu!" A familiar blue haired third year called out to the girl at the door. "Who's keeping you at the door?"
The girl now known as Yuyu answered to her classmate. "This first year kid who's a friend of Amijiki." She gestured to Sora.
The boy recognized the blue haired third year. "Wait...Nejire?"
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Momo Yaoyorozu]
He then heard her gasp. "SORAAAA!" Hado came at full speed, but even with Sora seeing this coming and getting into a proper stance, he was still tackled to the ground in a tight hug. "OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH! IT'S SO GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN!"
The Keyblade wielder couldn't speak up, as he was being hugged so tightly by Nejire that he couldn't breath. It also didn't help that his face was getting smothered by her larger than average breasts. His legs still worked though, and his struggling to get up was clear enough of a signal to Yuyu that he was trying to get her off of him, prompting her to step in. "Hey, I think you're crushing him under you." She told Hado.
"Huh?" The blue haired third year stopped what she was doing to look at Sora, who was starting to turn a bit blue. "Oop!" She jumped off of him. "Thanks for the heads up, Yuyu."
"Yeah, sure thing, Nejire." Yuyu replied.
Sora groaned after finally catching his breath. "That's...three."
"Huh?" Both girls replied, confused as to what he meant.
Yuyu then extended her hand out. "Need a hand?"
"Yeah." The Keyblade wielder accepted the help as he took her hand and let her pull him up to his feet. "Thanks."
"No problem." Yuyu replied. "I'm guessing you're friends with Nejire too?"
"Yeah." Sora replied. "You too?"
"She and I are besties." Yuyu replied. "Yuyu Haya."
"Sora." The boy introduced himself. "Nice to meet you."
"Ditto." Haya responded. "Well, I'm gonna go back to what I was doing. If you want to see Amajiki, he's hiding in his room on the second floor."
"Thanks." Sora said to her before she left, leaving Hado and him together.
Nejire immediately hugged him again, lifting him off the ground for a moment. "Oh my gosh! It's so good to see you again, Sora!" She told him. "After what happened, I was worried that you wouldn't be coming back to U.A. That would have sucked."
"Well, I'm here, and I'm staying." Sora told her, while he was still being squeezed by her. "But can you put me down? I kind of want to see Tamaki too while I'm here."
"Oh, sure thing!" Hado let Sora down before taking his hand and pulling him inside the building and up the stairs, until they reached the room they needed to be at. Nejire then knocked on the door. "Hey, Amajiki! Someone special is here to say hi! We're not leaving until you let us in!"
After a moment, and a few more knocks from the bubbly third year girl Tamaki opened the door to his room. "What do you want, Hado?" He quietly asked.
"Guess what." She got in his face.
"Ugh. What?" Amajiki questioned, silently begging for this interaction to be over soon.
"Look who's here!" Nejire showed off Sora, like he was a movie star or something.
"Huh? Sora?" The quiet third year recognized him.
"Heyo, Tamaki." The Keyblade wielder replied. "Just came to say hi and to check up on you."
"Um...thanks...I guess." Amajiki replied. "Are you doing okay?"
"Doing great." Sora cheerfully answered. "Thanks for asking."
"Y-Yeah." Tamaki wasn't much for conversation. "W-Well...I'm going to go back to unpacking. It was nice to see you again."
"Nice to see you too." Sora replied, before the door closed. He then turned to Hado. "You too, Nejire. It was nice seeing you today."
"Awww, you're leaving already?" She had a pouty expression on her face.
"Well, I have to go see Mirio and a few other friends today." The Keyblade wielder told her. "Besides, now that we all live at school, I'm sure we'll run into each other a lot now."
After hearing that reasoning, she perked up. "Oh yeah. That's so true. Ok then!" She took him by the hand again and took him downstairs and back to the front door of the 3-A dorm. "See ya later!"
"Later!" Sora replied before leaving the dorm.
[Silence]
After a very brief walk, he reached the dorm for class 3-B and knocked on the door, but there was no response. He knocked again, but still nothing. He knocked a little harder the third time and then something happened that he didn't expect. A face came through the door. "Who is it?" The face playfully asked.
"WHOA!" Sora was actually startled and jumped back before he recognized the face and sighed. "You know, I forgot that you could do that, Mirio."
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Mirio Togata]
Togata recognized who was at the door. "Oh, Sora! Heyo! How's it been?"
"It's been good. How about you?" The Keyblade wielder asked his third year friend.
"Great, especially since you're here." Mirio answered, before opening the door to the dorm, as his face phased through the door. He stood up straight after his stunt and spoke to Sora like normal. "Nice to see that chipper attitude of yours hasn't changed."
"You know me, I'm the 'Positive Hero'." Sora reminded him. "Getting scuffed up from some bad guys isn't gonna break me down."
"Well that's good to hear." Togata replied. "I'm sure that you would have never heard the end of it from Sir if you came back to him a downer."
Both boys chuckled at that before Sora spoke up. "Speaking of him, how are he and the others doing at his agency?"
"They're doing fine." Mirio answered. "They're starting to look into some yakuza branches and some small gangs. Nothing too big."
"That's neat." The Keyblade wielder replied.
"Right?" Togata agreed with that. "So what brings you here? Did you already finish unpacking your stuff?"
"Actually, no." Sora answered. "I was on my way back to my dorm, but this just happened to be on the way back. I figured I'd say hi while I could. I already stopped by Tamaki and Nejire's dorm and said hi to them too. Got tackled by Nejire. That makes three time's I've been tackled to the ground by a hug today."
"Three?" Mirio answered. "Wow, you should work on your stance if that's the case. You shouldn't be that easy to knock over."
"Ok. In my defense, I wasn't expecting the first two. And Nejire came at me at full speed on the third one." Sora retorted.
"Just saying. You don't see me getting tackled." Togata stated.
"Pfft. Oh that's rich coming from you, Mr. Phases through everything." The Keyblade wielder pointed out.
The third year chuckled at that response. "You got me there." He then went back to the last subject. "Well, I better not keep you here. You still got a room to unpack and probably a few other students to see on the way back there, right? It was nice to see you though, Sora."
"Nice to see you too, Mirio." Sora replied before turning around and leaving.
[Silence]
Sora once again walked over to a dormitory, but it wasn't the one that he was assigned to. This one belonged to 1-C. He knocked on the door, and after a brief moment, a female with long brown hair answered the door. "Huh? Can I help you?" She said.
"Hi." Sora spoke up. "Is Hitoshi Shinso here?"
"Oh, um, yeah. You wanna talk to him or something?" The girl questioned.
"Yeah. Is that ok?" The Keyblade wielder asked.
"I dunno, let me ask him." The girl replied before turning around and spotting who she was looking for.
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST An Abdominal Investigation]
"OY! Shinso! You got a guest at the door. Wants to talk to ya."
"Wha...a guest?" Hitoshi's voice was heard before he came into view. "I didn't invite any...oh." He recognized who was at the door. "Haven't seen you since the Sports Festival."
"Yeah." Sora replied. "Came here to say hi and to check up on you."
"Check up on me?" Shinso repeated. "Pretty sure you're the one who needs checking up on, after all that drama that happened with you recently."
"I got my check up at the hospital." The Keyblade wielder told him. "Doctors let me out after a few days of rest, and now I'm back."
"That's just dandy." The General Studies student responded. "I'd hate to have been accepted into the Hero course because of one of you getting murked."
Sora smirked. "Nice to see that you're still aiming for that Hero Course goal. How's the progress on that by the way?"
"I'm working on it." Hitoshi told him. "You'll see when I get in."
The Keyblade wielder grinned at that. "That confidence, man. I like it."
Shinso cracked a small smile. "Well, this was a good chat, but I have to get back to unpacking. I'll see you eventually."
"Alright. See ya then." Sora replied before he left the General Studies student to do his own thing.
While that conversation was shorter than most of the others, it was still a nice one to have. It had been a while since he had seen Hitoshi. The same went for Mirio, Nejire and Tamaki. It felt good to catch up with them, even if it was because Sora wanted to make sure that they weren't feeling down about what had happened to him with Vanitas. As he made his way through the campus of the school, he had one more place to visit before heading back to his dorm. And it just happened to be right next door to it.
The dorm he stood in front of now was just like all the others, save for one thing. The text that was boldly plastered on this particular building had a specific class designation on it. 1-B.
[Silence]
Sora knocked on the door and soon enough, someone was at the door. Yosetsu Awase, who recognized the Keyblade wielder immediately. "Oh. Hey Sora, what's up?"
"Just came to say hi to you guys." Sora told him. "Can I come in?"
"Yeah, sure. Come on in." Yosetsu let him in. "Some of us are still unpacking and setting up our rooms, so you'll probably have to wait until later to say hi to everyone. But there's a few of us down here that you can say hi to."
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Dogimagi]
Those few people that were down here were Setsuna Tokage, Juzo Honenuki, Manga Fukidashi, Jurota Shishida and Yui Kodai. Who all had their attention drawn to Awase when he spoke up. "Eyes up, guys. We got a guest."
Setsuna was the first to speak. "Eyy! Sora. Nice to see you buddy."
"A pleasure to see you in good health." Jurota spoke up next while Yui nodded to that.
"What brings you here? You already finished unpacking your stuff?" Juzo asked.
"Actually, I came from U.A." Sora explained. "I just got my phone back from Moogle after he did a check up on it. I figured that I'd come and say hi to my friends in the other dorms while on the way back to mine."
"If you called ahead of time, I'm pretty sure most of the class would come down here like WHOOSH!" Manga pointed out.
"Eh, maybe." The Keyblade wielder replied. "But I like surprising people face to face. I mean, you guys sound really happy to see me."
"Why wouldn't we be?" Shishida said. "We may be from rival classes, but that doesn't mean we don't consider you a close friend."
"He probably did it to avoid Monoma." Honenuki joked, earning a chuckle from the group.
"I wouldn't blame you if that was the case." Yosetsu spoke up. "We know how much of a pain in the neck he can be to you guys."
"Is that why Itsuka always chops him there? To give him a taste of his own medicine?" Sora joked, making the group laugh for a good moment.
"Ahahahaha! Oh that's a good one." Tokage praised that clever humor while Kodai gleefully nodded to that comment. "I've got to tell Kendo that when she's done with her room."
"It's good to see that you've kept your sense of humor." Jurota stated. "Even after recent events, you still keep a positive aura around you."
"It's actually pretty inspiring, dude." Juzo commented while Yui nodded to that comment as well.
"It's part of his charm." Setsuna pointed out. "When has this guy ever not been bright around us?"
"Good point." Awase replied before facing Sora. "So, anyway, how are you holding up?"
"A lot better now." The Keyblade wielder told him. "One check up at the hospital and a few days rest works wonders, I tell ya."
"Man. Talk about a fast recovery. Like one minute you're down and out, then the next minute, ZOOM! You're back and ready to kick some bad guy butt." Fukidashi commented.
"Well I mean, I can't just leave it all up to you guys." Sora commented. "I know you can handle it, but I don't want to be sitting on the sidelines while you guys have all the fun being Heroes."
"You're speaking to us like we're already graduated and on the job." Jurota pointed out. "We're still students, you know."
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean we aren't capable, right? I mean, we were supposed to get those licenses back at the camp, right?" The Keyblade wielder reminded the group
"Huh, that's right." Yosetsu remembered. "I kind of forgot about that, with what happened there."
"So I think we talk to eachother like we're on the job now, since we probably will be when we get those soon." Sora suggested.
"Eh, if you want to. We won't stop you." Honenuki replied.
"Just don't bring it up to Monoma, or he'll never live it down." Tokage warned Sora.
"I'll try." The Keyblade wielder replied before checking the time. "Well, I should probably head back to my dorm and finish up my room. After that, I'll be pretty busy."
"Thanks for stopping by, Sora." Setsuna said to him.
"Feel free to visit us again whenever you feel like." Shishida offered.
"The door's always open for ya." Juzo said while Kodai nodded to that.
"Thanks guys." The Keyblade wielder responded as he waved goodbye to the small group of 1-B students before leaving the dorm.
[Silence]
Sora had finally reached the 1-A dormitory, and went inside to notice Mezo, Ojiro and Ochako were already looking around the first floor of the building, as they were probably already finished with their rooms. He also noticed Tenya assisting Momo with her dilemma with choosing what to keep and what to send back to her home. But one thing that really caught his attention was Shoto. He had a tatami mat in his hands and was struggling to take it up the stairs.
The Keyblade wielder noticed that nobody else was seeing the Ice user's struggle, so he opted to assist his friend once more today. He approached Todoroki. "Need some help?"
"Hah...hah...If you're offering." The flame user tiredly accepted the help.
Sora picked up one side of the mat while Shoto lifted the other "Okay, where's this going?"
"To my room with the rest." Todoroki answered.
"The rest?" The Keyblade wielder repeated.
When the pair reached his room, Sora got his answer when he saw multiple tatami mats, shoji windows panels, a square wooden light fixture, and a tool kit in the room. "Thanks for the help. Now I can get started with my room." Shoto said.
"Wait, are you going to remodel your room to make it like your family house?" The Keyblade wielder asked.
"Yes." Todoroki answered as he got some tools from the kit and made his way to the window panel, preparing to remove it, so he can replace it with the shoji window panels. "You should probably go back to your room. You used up most of your time helping me and Hatsume, that you haven't been able to properly settle down."
"You sure you'll be okay on your own." Sora asked.
"I can manage this." Shoto said as he got to work on the window.
"Okay, well...I'll be two rooms away. Come get me if you need any help." The Keyblade wielder offered.
"I appreciate the offer, and I'll keep that in mind." Todoroki said before Sora left his room.
[Play KH Project Destati: Light -Welcome to Wonderland-]
Sora finally made it back to his room and saw that everything was still where it was, packed up inside a box. He sighed, realizing that while most of the other students are probably done or close to done with their rooms, he is only just getting started. Sora then rolled up his sleeves and got ready to work.
The first thing he did was reposition his cupboard and desk, swapping their position so that the desk would be closer to the door and that the cupboard would be near the window. The next thing he did was replace the curtains and bed sheets with his own curtains and sheets that he bought, thanks to Inko giving him some spare savings to buy decorations for his dorm room.
The next thing he did was put up some wallpaper that he also bought as decor for his room. After properly placing the paper, he made sure that it stuck to the wall and didn't poke out anywhere, before opening the window to his balcony, popping open the paint cans he brought, and beginning to make some, colorful adjustments to his desk, shelves and cupboard. He took advantage of the fact that he wasn't going to use the blanket that was given to him and used it as a mat for the paint jobs.
As the paint he applied on the desk dried off, Sora started grabbing some of the decorations that he had bought, and began placing them where he believed they would be best used. He waited until the paint was dry before putting anything on the desks or cupboard, but anything that was going to be placed on the floor, stuck to the fridge, or hung from the ceiling was placed where he deemed it best to be.
While he did that, he also began scrolling through the pictures on his phone, specifically through his Twilight Town photos, looking for a particular cook book that he had taken pictures of. If he was going to start that and finish by the end of the night, he needed to find those pictures and be ready to start the moment he finished his room. He soon found them and made sure to not close out of the gallery containing the photos, before putting his phone away.
After the paint dried on the cupboard and desk, the Keyblade wielder placed his desired decorations and school supplies on the desk, while putting his clothes inside the drawers of the cupboard and any the remaining desktop decorations on top of it.
Once he was finished, the sun had set and he was surprisingly exhausted. He wasn't expecting that decorating a room would be so taxing, but then again. He didn't rest until it was exactly the way he wanted it to be. Not only that, but he had also been constantly on the move for the entire day before he had gotten started on his room, so there was that too, but regardless, it was done now.
The Keyblade wielder then decided to lock his door, and change into a new set of clothes. No point in staying in uniform since school hours were well past over. He exchanged his school top for a plain white t-shirt, he swapped his pants for a pair of red shorts, he took off his school shoes for a pair of yellow slippers, he put on two black wristbands, kept his crown necklace on around his neck, and had Kairi's good luck charm dangle out of one of the pocket of his shorts, while Roxas and Axel's charms were in the other pocket.
[Silence]
Sora went downstairs to inspect the kitchen. After doing so, he noticed most of the boys hanging out on the couch, so he decided to join them, sitting next to Ejiro, who looked exhausted. "I'm so beat." Kirishima spoke up.
"You and me both." Hanta replied. "You done unpacking?"
"I think so." Ejiro said.
"Feels good, right?" Izuku commented.
"I know we could have died, but it's kind of exciting to be living here." Denki pointed out.
"We'll get to spend a lot more time together. That'll be cool." Sora stated.
"A unified class!" Tenya realized. "It's the perfect way to increase our cooperation and discipline! HOW SMART!"
"So you never relax, do you?" Ejiro commented.
"Hiya boys. All done with your rooms?" Mina entered the fray with the other girls, minus Tsuyu.
"Yep. We're just unwinding now." Kaminari told them.
"Well, the girls and I have been talking and..." Ashido began.
"We have a great idea!" Toru spoke up.
"Let's go around and see who has the coolest room!" Mina told the boys, prompting multiple reactions from the group. Denki and Kirishima seemed a bit unsure, but didn't object. Sero and Rikido were a bit confused, but not against it. Iida was fine with it, because he saw it as a way for the class to bond with one another to improve their teamwork. Sora was fine with it because...well everyone here was his friend, so why wouldn't he allow his friend into his room if they asked? And then Midoriya, Fumikage and Minoru all had shocked looks on their faces. One was for the idea of having girls in his room, being all for it, and the other two were for the idea of having anyone in their room, being against it. Izuku actually freaked out. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! NOWAITYOUCAN'TGOINTHEREPLEASEIT'SNOTMEANTFOR!"
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Wild Wild Pussycats] A.N. Loop this, because this section will take a while.
In spite of his frantic pleading, the girls entered his room, along with the rest of the class, minus Asui and Katsuki. The girls gasped at what they saw. Almost everything was All Might themed. All Might curtains, All Might, figures, All Might posters, All Might framed pictures, All Might pencil holder, All Might ribbon, All Might knick knacks. If they didn't know any better, then the group would think that this was a shrine dedicated to All Might. "All Might everywhere!" Ochako stated the obvious before teasing Midoriya. "You're such a fanboy!"
"Well I admire him..." Izuku meekly replied as his face turned redder than his Silver Age All Might Figure. "...This is embarrassing."
Sora sighed. "Yep. I expected this from you."
The other guys however realized something now. "Does this mean...they're judging our rooms too?" Kaminari began to sweat.
"Probably." Hanta guessed, getting a bit nervous, but trying to stay optimistic. "Could end up a good time."
Next up was Tokoyami's room. However there was one small obstacle in the way. Fumikage himself was leaning on his door, making sure to guard it with his life. "No way." He denied access to his room.
Ashido and Hagakure looked at him for a moment before taking it upon themselves to push their bird headed classmate out of the way. Though it took a lot of effort for them to do it. Once Tokoyami eventually toppled over from the girls' combined strength, they entered the room, followed by him and the rest of the group.
Befitting of Fumikage and his famous catchphrase, the room was very dimly lit. In fact, the only lights in there were purple colored flames that came from some fancy candles, a prop skull, a prop deer head, and a crystal ball. Two posters of an oddly drawn face were placed next to his dark colored curtains, and a poster that had the word 'DIE' written on it multiple times was positioned next to his bed, which had black sheets and pillows on it. His cabinet had a black decorative sheet on top of it, and he had a painting on the wall, but it was too dark to see what the painting was. There was also a pentagram on the wall next to it, and a black carpet with a pentagram of its own on the floor. There was also another prop skull of a bull hung next to the door, and another poster on the other side of the door. But it was too dark to see what the picture was. There was a comfy looking padded rocking chair that replaced the standard one. And lastly, there was a sword inside a sheath. "So dark and scary." Mina and Toru commented.
"You fiends." Tokoyami uttered out loud as he felt violated by the group barging into his room without his permission, which is honestly justified.
As Sora went to try and comfort Fumikage, Ejiro found an intricately designed keychain on the cabinet and took a closer look at it. "Oh man. I had a keychain like this when I was in middle school." he commented.
"So this is how boys like to decorate." Ashido surmised after seeing only two rooms.
"Please leave." Tokoyami quietly requested.
However, Izuku accidentally pushed it when he saw the weapon that was in the bird headed boy's room. "A sword!? So cool!"
"GET OOOOOUT!" Fumikage aggressively demanded, prompting everyone to leave his room.
After calming him down, Sora asked him something. "Hey. Actual question. Did you get that sword because I let you hold Oblivion, or did you always have it?"
After a moment of awkward silence, Tokoyami quietly answered the question. "I always had it."
"I will say though. Your room is good." The Keyblade wielder told him. "It compliments you very well."
"...I appreciate your kindness." Fumikage hesitantly replied.
Next up was Yuga's room, and he was more than willing to show off his room. One word could describe that room. BRIGHT. His carpet, bedsheets, blankets, pillows, curtains, wallpaper, ceiling, and decorative cloth on his cupboard were all made of the same sparkling material. On top of that he had a polished armor stand with a full set of knight's armor and a sword to go with it, multiple expensive looking mirrors of varying sizes, stage lights on his wall, an expensive lamp on his bed, multiple stands on his desks to hold his many glistening accessories, and a freaking disco ball on his ceiling. "Aren't you dazzled!?" Aoyama asked as he struck a pose.
"Shiny." Everyone commented at once.
"No no." Yuga said as he waved his finger at them. "It's not shiny. It's...mag..." He struck another pose. "...ni..." He struck another pose. "...figue."
The group began leaving the room. "Exactly what I pictured." Toru commented.
"Honestly I expected more." Ashido said.
"Any more and it would be blinding." Sora pointed out.
"This is turning out to be really fun." Uraraka said in a giddy manner. "The last person on this floor is..."
The group stopped in their tracks, remembering who the last boy here was. Mineta peeked through his door, looking...a little too welcoming for the groups' tastes. "Heheh. Hey. Come on in, girls. I've got so much to show you."
Everyone walked towards the elevator. "Sooo the third floor?" Ochako said, leaving Minoru behind.
"Where are you going? Come back." The pervert pleaded.
"Should I lock him in his room?" Sora asked the group. "I can do that with the Keyblade."
Before he was even given the chance to, Mineta left his room and got his act together. "Nevermind. My room's a mess anyway. I don't want to be judged poorly. In fact, it's a blessing in disguise."
"That's better." The Keyblade wielder said as the group made their way to the third floor.
Up next was Mashirao, who let them in, but felt a little embarrassed. There was a comb and a tissue box on the table...That's it. Really, that's it. Nothing else about the room was different compared to when Aizawa presented the standard dorm room. Ojiro didn't change anything about it, except add in a comb for his hair, some pretty ordinary clothes in his closet, and some pretty standard food in his fridge.
"It's so bare in here." Uraraka commented.
"Did you move anything in at all?" Hagakure genuinely asked.
"Please tell me you just haven't unpacked yet." Mina said.
"Um, if we're done here, then let's go." Mashirao sulkingly suggested.
"Ehh...well...if it ain't broke. Right...?" Sora tried to cheer Ojiro up, to minor success.
"Thanks..." The tail boy appreciated the kindness, before the group moved on.
Next was Tenya, who without hesitation, opened his door and allowed everyone into his room, proudly presenting it in all of its glory. The right side was completely comprised of bookshelves that were filled up to the brim., neatly organized by spine color and alphabetical order of the author's last name, with usage taken into consideration as well. Books were stacked on top of his shelves and next to his bed as well, organized the same way from top down. Speaking of his bed, it had a blue plaid design for its blankets and pillows, and it was pristinely tucked in. On the left side was more books on the cupboard organized in the same way as the others, a labeled garbage bin and recycling bin, and multiple shelves that were holding many pairs of glasses.
"Whoa. It looks like a library in here." Ochako noted.
"That's the class rep for you." Ashido pointed out.
"You'll find nothing odd in here." Iida proudly stated.
Uraraka however noticed the shelves of glasses and couldn't help but laugh. "You have so many glasses!"
"Of course I do!" The class rep replied. "I expect them all to be destroyed during training."
"Well, he came to school prepared. I'll give him that." Sora commented before the group moved on, though not before some of the girls took a few pairs of Tenya's glasses and began to wear them.
Next was Denki's room. And it was certainly funky...Maybe a little too funky. On the left side of the room had multiple hats with varying styles hanging off of an extra cabinet that had multiple different style shoes, with a sci fi looking poster and figures on top ot it, as well as multiple different colored containers on top of the shelf installed above it, and on a fence next to the curtains. A blue fedora was next to the fence with a few wristbands underneath it and another fence with more colored wristbands on it, as well as a pair of yellow headphones and a microphone that was standing on top of a black and yellow colored cabinet with a computer console on it as well. The monitor was next to the desk along with the standard chair, next to a small stand that held multiple colored binders. The center of the room had a white table, a tissue box and a notebook on it, with a black carpet covering the floor. The right side had his bed with black and yellow leopard print style sheets and a basketball. A shirt was framed on the wall, and there was a fence with a dartboard, as well as a very oddly shaped lamp behind the bed. His curtains were gray tiger patterned, and above them on the left and right side of his AC unit was a pair of...license plates?
"Really?" Most of the girls said in unison.
"This is the store in the mall I'd avoid." Kyouka was blunt.
"What?!" Kaminari replied. "D It's perfect! Come on, tell em, Sora!"
Pressure was put on the Keyblade wielder, and he could really only say this. "Well...I mean...It's got...a lot of things in it. Like...a LOT of things..."
The group moved on.
Next was Koji's room. Very animal themed. His bed had bright green colored sheets and pillows, with an extra grassy textured mat on top of it, with a bear blush and giraffe plush on the bed. He had a few pictures on the wall that showed different nature preserves he visited and animal friends he made there. He had a calendar that had animal pictures in it for the different months of the year, and his curtains and carpet were also the same bright green color as his bed sheets. The biggest thing though, was that he was not the only one living in that room. He had a pet with him. A white rabbit to be exact. Coming with the rabbit is of course a bed for him, as well as a food and water tray and of course a litter box.
"He has a rabbit! It's so cute!" Ochako and Mina, who were wearing Iida's glasses, cooed before they and some of the group entered the room.
"Hey, no fair. We don't get pets." Denki gave Koda the stink eye. "You're trying to buy the judges' love."
Sora looked at the white rabbit and ended up having a fond memory come up in his mind. The first time he went to wonderland, and saw a white rabbit run by, worried about how late we was for something. "Ah, good times." He reminisced before actually giving his opinion of the room. "Knowing what your quirk is, if you didn't have a pet, I would have been surprised. Either way, it looks like the rabbit is happy living here, so points for that."
[Silence]
As the group started to move on to the fourth floor, some of the people who's rooms had been seen were starting to feel a bit bitter. "Man this sucks. I feel so judged right now." Denki said.
"Hey, what a coincidence." Mashirao felt the same way. "I don't feel great, at all."
"Same here." Fumikage replied.
"Our only saving grace is that Sora is obliging himself to say one nice thing about every room." Yuga pointed out.
Minoru then spoke up. "That's because the boys are the only ones who are getting picked on. They said it was a contest to see who has the coolest dorm room."
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Deku's Shock]
"But what about them?" Mineta pointed out. "We have to see the girls' room to tell them what's best! Their interior design skills should be held at the same standard as ours! Maybe even higher! Show us those dorms!"
[Silence]
Sora had a disappointed look on his face. "You know that we know you just want to go into the girls' rooms, right?"
Regardless of that fact, the girls' competitive spirits were still convinced by the argument of equal treatment. "I'm into it! The whole equal treatment thing, not the other part."
Jiro was surprised and actually now looked afraid.
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Closing Ceremony]
At that point, everyone present had gotten interested into it, because everyone, minus three people, were having their rooms judged and potentially crowned the best of the bunch. It was on now.
[Silence]
As they made their way to the fourth floor, Ashido spoke up. "Okay, so like, what are the rules? Are we figuring out who has the best taste in the class, or just the overall coolest?"
"We're doing this?" Kyouka was still processing the fact that she might have to open her room up to the boys.
"Uh, this doesn't have to be a contest." Ojiro pointed out.
Mineta had a very cheeky grin on his face and a bit of drool coming out of his mouth that he wiped off, but Sora was too busy helping Mina come up with a way to judge the rooms to notice, and since Asui wasn't here, he was free to have these thoughts to himself without threat.
"Why don't we just put it to a vote?" Sora commented. "And it'll be just based on everyone's own opinion. The only rule is you can't vote for yourself. Is that fair?" Most of the class agreed to that and the group went on to continue the competition.
"Let's see. Who's on the fourth floor?" Uraraka tried to remember. "It's Bakugo, Kirishima and Shoji, isn't it?"
"Where is Bakugo?" Tenya noticed the lack of Katsuki.
"Eh, he thought this was lame, so he went back to his room to sleep." Ejiro told them. "I could use some Zs too."
"Then we'll do your room next!" Toru exclaimed as she and Mina rushed past him.
"You can sleep all you want after!' The pink girl told him.
The group reached his room and he stopped in front of the door. "Not that I care, but you might not get what I'm going for." Kirishima opened up his door and let them into his room.
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Inasa Yoarashi]
The interior of Ejiro's room had multiple eye catchers. A clock with flexing arms on it was one of those things. Another was the actual punching bag in the center of the room, in front of the red flame pattern curtains. Multiple posters of martial artists and men that had strong builds and confident postures were put all over his walls. He had a Crimson Riot action figure on a metal cupboard with his books and binders, as well as a flame themed light next to his desk. Meanwhile his bed had camouflage sheets, but the rest of his stuff was in boxes. "A den of manliness!" Kirishima called his room.
Ashido nodded with a blank stare. While Hagakure commented on this. "If I found out my boyfriend had a room like this, I'd dump him."
Not all of the girls had a bad thing to say though. "SO BOLD! MAKES ME WANT TO WORK OUT!" Uraraka cheered.
"You get it!" Ejiro was glad that one of them understood his vision.
"It gets me pumped up!" Sora added.
"Exactly!" Kirishima was glad that Sora said that as well.
"Next up, Shoji!" Mina called out.
"You're not gonna find anything interesting here." Mezo told them as he let them in his room.
This was honestly the most surprising to them so far as it had...less than what Mashirao's room had. Seriously. Shojo didn't add anything. He actually removed almost everything. He only had a small desk, a pillow to sit on, a folded up mattress, and folded up blanket, a single pillow to rest his head on, and the fridge and closed, which had barely anything in them.
"Uh...more like nothing at all, dude." Ashido commented.
"So you're a minimalist, huh?" Shoto correctly assumed.
"I just never understood why someone would want to fill their room with junk." Shoji explained his perspective on decorations and knick knacks.
Minoru took a peek under the mattress. "Guys like this always have a super pervy side." He said.
Ignoring that comment, Sora gave his opinion. "I mean...If you have what you need, then I guess that works."
The group went to the elevator. "All done. Let's head up to the fifth floor" Toru exclaimed.
"We'll start with Sero!" Mina chimed in.
"Are we seriously doing everyone?" Hanta realized. However, when the group reached his room, he was not nervous in the slightest. In fact he had a confident smile on his face when he showed off his room.
His room was very much East Asian styled, with a hammock and tea table in the center of the room on top of an exotic carpet with multiple different patterns on it He had tapestry hung on his walls that were also very uniquely exotic in their designs, not to mention that his bed sheets and pillow also shared their own exotic patterns as well. He had a folding panel behind his bed, and replaced his curtains with wooden shutters. He also had an exotic designed lamp hanging on the ceiling and a basil plant on his desk, which was next to his straw woven cabinet, that had a few wooden carvings and a boat shaped bowl holding fruit in it. And lastly, a few square wooden pallets decorated the wall as well with unique patterns carved into them as well.
"Wow!" Most people said upon seeing the room.
"Exotic!" Ashido cheered.
"It's lovely!" Uraraka also cheered.
"Sero, I didn't peg you for someone who'd like this stuff." Kyouka commented.
"Heheheh. Yep, that's me. Always the wild card." Hanta took that with pride.
"Caught me by surprise. I like it." Sora said.
"Let's keep moving." Hagakure suggested.
"Next is Todoroki's room, right?" Momo realized.
'Oh. Oh. Oh this is going to be funny.' Sora thought to himself, already imagining what the reaction of everyone else is going to be when they see it.
While the girls were in their own thoughts, curious about one of the two most capable boys and one of the cutest boys in school, getting a chance to glance into their private life, Shoto just went to his room and opened the door. "Let's get this over with. It's late."
The reaction was exactly what Sora expected, as everyone was shocked beyond belief to see that Shoto had done a complete overhaul of his room, in order to make it a traditional japanese styled room, like his family home. The window was replaced with the shoji window panels, tatami mats carefully placed on the floor, the wooden light fixture was perfectly placed, along with his bamboo plant, his violets, desk, sitting chair, closed shrine, cabinets, candle light, picture frames, everything was in a traditional japanese style as nothing remained of the original dorm room design.
"So Japanese!" Mina and Sero exclaimed.
"It was even built differently!" Kaminari noticed.
While everyone else was processing this, Sora just chuckled at them, while Todoroki explained why he did this. "We've got these kinds of floor mats at my home. They're much more comfortable than hardwood."
"THIS ISN'T YOU HOUSE!" Denki exclaimed.
"HOW DID YOU REMODEL THIS ENTIRE ROOM IN JUST ONE DAY!?" Minoru demanded to know.
[Silence]
"...With hard work." Shoto told them straight.
"You are a beast." Kaminari told him.
"Well that hard work paid off. This room looks great. Exactly like your house back when I visited." Sora complimented his friend.
"Thank you." Todoroki replied. "Also, thank you for helping me with that last tatami mat earlier."
"Oh, yeah. No problem." The Keyblade wielder replied before the group left.
"He'll make such a good pro." Toru said.
"Pretty boys always have tricks up their sleeve." Sato sulked before the group moved on to his room.
"Okay, next up is..." Mina began.
Rikido begrudgingly spoke up. "...Me."
The group entered his room and, well...it was ok. He had a yellow blanket that had sugar written all over it, a yellow plaid table covering, a pillow to sit on at his table, a pantry for storing cooking supplies, with green oven mitts hanging off of them, a microwave oven, baking recipe book, bowl with a ladle in it, an open milk carton, an egg container, and a scale on a table, and he of course had the standard desk, cabinet and rolling chair. "Anyway, it's a pretty boring room." Sato said.
"All of them are after Todoroki's." Ejiro commented.
"Something smells good though." Mashirao pointed out. "What is it?"
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Bright and Cheerfully]
Sato then looked worried. "Oh crap! I forgot about that!" He rushed over to his microwave oven. "I finished unpacking really early, so I started to bake a Chiffon Cake. I thought we could all eat it together for dessert after Sora did his cooking thing."
"Hmm?" The Keyblade wielder was actually surprised with that. "Oh. Uh...I also had ingredients to make desserts too, but...we can make this the appetizer, if you want."
Rikido took it out of the microwave oven. "It hasn't been iced yet, but...want some?" He offered it to the class.
"YEAH!" Most of the girls ran over to get a piece.
"The strong guy is an expert baker?!" Kaminari and Mineta complained.
"His quirk involves eating sweets." Sora reminded the two. "Baking would be a good skill to have, as lots of sweets are normally made through baking."
"Oh, leave it to the master chef, to know about food types." Minoru commented in an annoyed tone.
Regardless of that, the girls, Sora and a few of the boys had some of the cake. "It's delicious. So fluffy." Ochako said.
"I could eat it every day." Hagakure praised.
"Forget Sero. This is unexpected." Ashido commented.
Jiro nodded in approval, while Yaoyorozu spoke up. "I think it's great that you have such a fun hobby, Sato."
"This is really good." Sora complimented. "Hey, you want to help me with baking the deserts I have planned for tonight?"
"Oooooh, I seriously did not expect this reaction." Rikido turned red from the praise. "Mostly I bake as part of the training for my sugar quirk. Store bought sweets can get pricey."
[Silence]
The group moved on and there was one boy left. "Alrighty then. Last but not least, we have..." Toru began.
"Me!" Sora cheered with his fist raised in the air. He took point and led the group to his room. "It's not much, but I'm proud of it. Hope you like it." He opened the door.
[Play KH Re:Chain of Memories OST Namine]
When the group entered the room, there was a lot to take in. First off, was the wallpaper, as it was designed to look like a shoreline with the vast ocean expanding over the horizon, along with a beautiful sky with clear white clouds scattered about. His curtains were the same blue color as the wall paper, however it also had a neat detail on it, being that a crest of the sun was part of the design, though the way the sun crest was drawn, almost made it look like a golden flower. His bedsheets also followed the sky theme, however the design of the blanket had yellow stars and a crescent moon pattern on it, while Sora's pillow was white like a cloud.
The next thing that almost everyone noticed was Sora's cupboard, shelves and desk. Before they even noticed what was on them, they noticed that they were a different color pattern. The cupboard was mainly white, with the top being painted blue, and the desk was entirely painted blue, while the shelves above were also painted entirely blue. On top of Sora's cupboard were three plush animals. One was of a male lion. The second was of a gorilla. The third one was of a yellow bear and it wore a small red shirt on it. Next to the three plushies was a stitched up brown pillow with a jackolantern designed face on it.
On the desk sat a few things as well. One of those things was a deck of cards, with the Queen Of Hearts sticking out from the top of the deck, with one of Luxord's cards placed on the top of the deck, face down. Next to it was a writing utensil holder that had multiple colored pens that were modeled to look like crayons, next to a blank drawing notebook. Next to that was a rose in a pot, as well as a gold colored teapot that looked a little like a lamp, but was filled with water that would be for the rose. Next to that was a desk lamp that had the design of a thin red dragon, with the light coming out of the dragon's mouth. There was a summer themed snow globe, with a snowman relaxing on a beach towel under an umbrella. Next to Sora's desk was a garbage bin that looked like one of those Greek hydrias. And on the floor they noticed that there was a mat in the shape of a cartoonish looking whale.
On the shelf above was a three masted galleon ship in a bottle. The ship had an interesting design though, as it was a rich brown color hull, but had black sails. The stern of the ship had a golden metallic color on and around where the back lanterns were at, while the the prow of the ship had a masthead below the bowsprit that was of a black colored angel holding out a dove in front of her, both of their sets of wings outstretched. At the helm of the ship stood two small figures. One was a man with a red coat, red hat with a large feather coming out of it, long black hair and a pencil thin mustache, black boots, and a hook for his missing left hand. He had his sword drawn out and clashed with the other figure's sword. Speaking of the other figure, he had a more scruffy and dirty brown looking coat, a hat of his own that was a folded brown pirate hat, multiple braids on his black colored hair, as well as a trimmed facial hair. He had both of his hands, with one holding a sword of his own, and the other holding a square container that looked like it was a sort of compass.
Next to the shelf was a cuckoo clock that had bells and on the side of it, and next to that was a framed photo of Sora and three kids that were about the same age as them, all posing for a photo, while there was also a mean faced cartoon looking duck person in front of them. And next to that was a red colored First Aid kit.
Next to Sora's bed was a stitched up bag with two prop harpoons, and a prop trident. And next to those were a set of colorful building blocks that were put together to look almost like a blocky spaceship of sorts. And next to that was a yellow ball with a blue stripe down the middle of it, and two red stars in the center of the yellow spots of the ball.
Above the center part of Sora's door was a disk shaped neon light that was currently glowing blue, but when the door closed, it glowed red. And on the door, was a poster that had a symbol with three black circles that overlapped each other, making a cartoonishly looking mouse symbol on it.
Even Sora's fridge was decorated, as there were lots of things stuck onto it by multiple magnets. The picture of Sora and Kairi was being held by a shuriken magnet and a red ribbon magnet. A picture of a beautiful woman with medium blue hair, and a beautiful smile on her face was being held up by ukulele magnet and a blue Musketeer tabard magnet. A picture of an older looking Riku standing in front of a sword with a bat wing and angel wing on the hilt of the blade was being held up by a flying goggles magnet and a silver lion magnet. A paper that Denki recognized as one of Sora's instruction papers for his elemental attacks was being held up by a white pumpkin carriage magnet, and a pointy blue wizard hat magnet. A picture of Sora posing in a garage with his Hero Costume on, with the cartoonish looking duck person and a cartoonishly looking dog person showing him off, was being held up by a red feather magnet, and a green leaf magnet. A picture of what looked to be Zexion, in a scholarly outfit, was being held up by a chibi chicken magnet and a pixelated fist magnet. A picture of Sora in the middle of a snowy mountain, shivering due to a severe lack of him having a snow coat on, was being held up by a chibi elephant magnet and a chibi deer fawn magnet. And lastly, there was a picture of Sora holding a box that had a tarte aux fruits, that was being held up by a sea salt ice-cream magnet.
There was so much to this room, that everyone here had their eye caught on to something. Izuku and Tenya's eyes were on the note and colored pens. Ejiro's eyes were on the prop harpoons and trident. Fumikage and Shoto's eyes were on the picture of Riku. Denki's eyes were on the cuckoo clock. Minoru's eyes were on the picture of the blue haired woman. Mashirao's eyes were on the wallpaper. Mezo's eyes were on the ship in a bottle. Rikido's eyes were on the picture of the tarte aux fruits. Yuga's eyes were on the picture of Sora posing in the garage. Koji's eyes were on the animal plushies. Hanta's eyes were on the colored cabinets and desk. Ochako's eyes were on the rose. Momo's eyes were on the golden teapot. Kyouka's eyes were on the ukulele magnet. Toru's eyes were on the building blocks and the ball. And Mina's eyes were on the curtains and bedsheets.
After everyone took in the sights, opinions were given. "There's a lot in this room." Hagakure commented.
"At first, I thought it was sky themed, but then it started to look more ocean themed." Ashido said.
"There were still multiple things that didn't really mesh with the ocean motif though." Yaoyorozu pointed out "It didn't subtract from the appeal though."
"Looks kind of like a daycare playroom." Jiro compared it.
"Very kid friendly!" Oraraka cheered.
"I'll take that as a compliment." The Keyblade wielder proudly replied to them.
[Silence]
As the group left his room, Toru spoke up "That's it for the boys. Now it's our turn, ladies."
"Oh man, that's so many rooms. Shouldn't we turn in?" Kyouka tried to get out of this.
"Come on, Jiro! Live a little!" Ashido didn't let her escape this as the group went back to the third floor.
"It's kind of embarrassing." Kyouka said as she opened her door and very hesitantly let the group into her room.

The design of Jiro's room was very musically inspired. She had a checkered floor, bedsheets and ceiling, with red curtains, and a large poster that had the words DEEP DOPE written on it. But the big highlight of this was the fact that she had multiple musical instruments. An electric guitar, a bass guitar, a digital piano, a drum set, and there was a guitar case for what looked like an acoustic guitar under her bed There were also stage speakers and multiple sound boards.
"Whoa! You've got so many instruments!" Kaminari was surprised.
"It's because Jiro's totally punk rock!" Hagakure reminded him.
"Can you play all these?" Uraraka excitedly questioned.
"Yeah." Jiro timidly answered. "At least a little."
"Your room is girlier than this." Denki said to Yuga.
"Because I've got style." The French boy boasted.
Kyouka was about ready to jack them for that comment, but before her earphone jacks could reach them, she saw Sora right behind the two of them, with his hands closed into fists. She then saw each fist slam on top of both blonde boys' noggins. "Not cool, you two." The Keyblade wielder berated the pair.
"OWWWowowowowow!" Kaminari recoiled in pain, while Aoyama whimpered in pain and held where Sora struck him.
The Keyblade wielder then walked up to Jiro and gave her his opinion. "The room looks great, Kyouka. It fits your style."
"Oh, uh...thank you." Jiro replied, a little less timid than before.
"And well, can I ask you something about your instruments?" Sora said.
"U-Um...yeah?" Kyouka responded.
"It looks like you have one of those...acouss...acuu...ack...one of those soft playing guitars." He couldn't find the right word.
"You mean acoustic guitar?" Jiro helped him out.
"Yeah, that." The Keyblade wielder replied. "You think you can teach me how to play that?"
"Wh-What?!" The music loving girl was taken aback by this request.
"There's this song that I wanted to try and learn, but I can't play an instrument to save my life." Sora told her. "I really want to try it though. You don't have to say yes. I just thought it would be cool if you could."
After a moment of consideration, she gave him an answer. "S-Sure, I guess. Just tell me when you're free."
Sora had a really giddy smile on his face when she agreed to help him. "Awesome! Thanks, Kyouka."
Jiro had a very small blush on her cheeks before Toru spoke up. "Next is me!" She led the group to her room. "Well, come in guys! What do you think?"
The room had many things that one would consider 'girly'. Pink cherry patterned curtains, pink and white flower patterned blankets and pillows, a fluffy pink chair and carpet, a table with a heart design on the top of it, a pink and bright blue lamp, purple and bright blue colored clothing bins, multiple plushie animals above the bins, and a big stuffed blue bear plush next to a purple pillow with a pink and white bow tied around it resting on her bed.
"A...a...ah...now this is girly." Denki stated. "So pink."
Minoru went straight for the clothing bin and waved his hand in front of him, trying to get a scent. "Plus Ultra."
As Toru was about to mouth him off, Sora already reached the purple pervert, grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, lifted him above the ground and literally threw him out of her room. "Do that again, and I will drop you from one of the balconies." The Keyblade wielder threatened, before turning to Hagakure. "By the way, the room is very cute. It fits with your personality."
"Aw, thanks. You always know what to say, don't you, Sora?" The invisible girl appreciated the compliment.
Ejiro looked at Mineta and let out a sigh. "He should really stop trying whenever Sora is around."
"He should stop trying, period." Iida spoke up. "It's disrespectful, not to mention perverse."
"Now, where have I heard that before?" Kaminari remembered Sora telling him that same bit of advice back at the Sports Festival, when he and Minoru failed to see the 1-A girls in cheerleader outfits, due to Sora finding them first.
"We can do mine next." Mina spoke up as she guided the group to her room on the fourth floor. She opened the door and showed it off to all of them. "Ta da! Isn't it super cute?"
The room was a mix of pink, purple and black blended very well together. She had pink and black tiger pattern curtains, black and pink spotted bedsheets and pillows, a pink leopard print lamp, a black and pink spotted carpet, a pink and black trash can with pink fur on the top edges or it, pink and black colored chairs, a pink and black cabinet with pink fur on the top of it, as well as a black framed mirror with a black and pink colored case that probably had makeup in it, a pink stuffed rabbit, a purple heart pillow, a purple table with a pink fur coated mirror on it, as well as pink glitter makeup, a black and purple spotted ceiling light, a pink and purple clock on the wall, as well as a bright blue board with pink fur coated edges containing multiple photos on it. A black bookshelf and a black computer desk.
"Whoa." Everyone said, honestly surprised with how good it looked.
"Dang. This is a good looking room." Sora said what everyone was thinking.
"Yeah!" Ashido let out a giddy cheer.
After that, the group moved on to Ochako's room. She showed them her room and felt a bit awkward. "Yeah, it's not very interesting, I know."
Her room was basically the same as Mashirao's room, but had a few extra things, like a small television, a cheap fan, a small tea pot, a tiny cactus in a pot, a framed photo, some spare hangers on her curtains, a poster of some sort of map, and a utensil holder that was pinned to the wall.
"Is this okay?" Ojiro was starting to question this idea. "It feels dirty seeing so many girl's rooms up close. This is their private space."
"Forbidden gardens." Fumikage uttered out.
"It only feels dirty, because you're making it feel dirty." Sora told them. "I see this as me getting to know my friends better. Boy or girl, makes no difference. They're still my friends, and they're inviting me in their room. I'm not going to say no." He then turned to Uraraka. "This seems like a nice place to hang out and have a study session."
"How do you always find something nice to say about our rooms?" The gravity girl asked him.
"Is it really that hard to do?" The Keyblade wielder asked back.
[Silence]
As the group went up to the fifth floor again, Izuku realized something. "Next is Asui."
"Wait, where is Tsu? I haven't seen her." Sero questioned, just now noticing that she wasn't with the group.
"Oh, she wasn't feeling too good, so she's in her room." Ochako told the group.
"Well, we shouldn't bother her. She can show us later, when she's feeling better." Denki suggested.
"Hope she gets well soon." Sora commented, as he and the group moved on, not noticing a certain frog girl watch them walk away.
The group reached the last dorm room. "The last one up is Yaoyorozu." Hanta pointed out.
"The thing is...I...maybe miscalculated a few things." Momo told the group. "My room is a little more cramped than I intended. And maybe not as creative as some of yours." She opened the door to her room.
A large bookshelf filled with many textbooks was at the front of the room. Next to it was a personalized makeup cabinet, with a small but expensive looking lamp on it. Next to that was a personalized computer desk with a laptop, personalized chair, and an ink container with a large white feather quill pen. There was one painting above the desk, and next to the painting was a shelf that had a vase with purple violets in it. The biggest thing in here though, was her bed. Literally, it was the biggest thing here, as it was an Olympic Queen sized bed that covered more than half of her room, and had corners that stretched to the ceiling, holding curtains on them as well.
"THAT BED IS HUGE!" Kaminari exclaimed. "YOU CAN'T EVEN WALK IN HERE!"
"It's my furniture from home, so I thought it'd fit." Yaoyorozu replied.
"Didn't you say that the dorm room was the same size as your closet before?" Sora pointed out.
"Yeah, but I still thought it could work." The rich girl responded. "I had no idea how small these dorm rooms would end up being."
The Keyblade wielder sighed. "Well at least you'll feel a little bit at home. That counts for something." He then changed the subject. "That's everyone, right? So now we just have to do our votes, and then Rikido and I can start making the food I promised everyone?"
After the group left Momo's room, they doubled back to Sora's to get the ingredients that he had stored in his fridge, take them downstairs, and put them in the kitchen. The group then each took a slip of paper and wrote down who they voted had the best room among them, and after Mina finished counting, she came back with the results.
"And now, without further ado...here are the results of the first best room competition! Minus Bakugo and Tsu." Ashido began the announcement. "Drum roll please!" Sora decided to oblige her and rapidly tapped the table with his index fingers, mimicking a drum roll for her. "With a total of five votes, the overwhelming winner of this totally awesome contest is...Rikido Sato!"
[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Damn Cowardly School]
Rikido did a double take to that. Sora stopped his drumroll after the result was given and gave the winner a pat on the shoulder. "Way to go, man!"
"I...WHAT!?" Sato was really confused.
"By the way, all the girls voted for you." Mina told Rikido. "Because, that cake was delicious. I want some more." She had some drool come out of her mouth, as well as the other girls.
"THAT'S WHY?!" Sato was even more dumbfounded, before he began getting assaulted by Denki and Minoru.
"YOU VILLAIN! ASPIRING HEROES SHOULDN'T ASSORT TO BRIBERY!" Both boys screamed at him.
"It wasn't on purpose!" Rikido tried to defend his case and his face from the bombardment of those two. "What the heck?!"
"Alright, alright! Lay off!" Sora said as pulled Kaminari off, while Sato pushed Mineta away. "You ready to help me with the cooking? The food is waiting for us in the kitchen."
"Yeah. What are we making, anyway?" Rikido wondered.
"Remember that bistro that I told you guys I worked at?" The Keyblade wielder reminded him.
"You're not." Mezo realized what that implication meant.
"I am." Sora confirmed. "I have the whole menu and all the ingredients to make every dish."
"Guh!...Oh mon Dieu." Yuga almost fainted hearing that.
[Silence]
"Oh, before that though." Ochako spoke up to Sora. "Hey, Todoroki, Deku, Iida, Yaoyorozu, Kirishima, you have a sec? It's really important."
"Uh...sure." Sora was fine to go with her and the others. "Go ahead and start prepping the ingredients." He unlocked his phone and gave it to Sato, showing pictures of the instructions on how to prep the ingredients for the entrées.
The six students that Uraraka asked for followed her to the front door and exited through it. As they stepped outside, Ejiro spoke up. "So uh, where are we going?"
He and the others then noticed that someone else was outside as well. Tsuyu Asui, and she didn't look as happy as she usually was.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but we're still not done with this day. Not only do I still have to do the whole cooking of the bistro foods, not only do I have to still do the multiple heart to hearts with Sora and his classmates (Tsuyu, Momo, Fumikage, Etc.) but there's a whole other chapter of School Briefs Volume Three that takes place on the same freaking night. So yeah, I'm ending this chapter off here, because jeez it was starting to get long. The next chapter will pick up immediately where this one leaves off, and HOPEFULLY finish off the rest of this night. Until then, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, and until I decide to upload again. ;)
P.S. As a fun little game, Sora's room has 48 different references to his past adventures. Some objects have multiple references put together. See if you can figure them all out and tell me which ones you do figure out in your reviews. I would love to see how many you find.
