Chapter 84

[Silence]

Over in the factory section. Shoto heard Mera's voice. "Let's see. Where are we at now? Things are moving a lot more quickly. Looks like 52...make that 53, have passed. And looking on the other side of things, it looks like 230 examinees have failed. Less than half the spots are open. Now's the time to move. Don't dilly dally kids" The flame user knew that he didn't have the luxury of waiting around and moved to go find people to eliminate. Soon after he was in the open, a ball came flying towards him, but he saw it coming and burned it before it could reach him.

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Cavalry Battle]

"That was pretty good." The student responsible for throwing the ball spoke up. It was a boy in a red shinobi attire, and he was with other people wearing the same shinobi suits, but varying in color and size. "Just what I'd expect from one of the bronze boys from the U.A. Sports Festival. The name's Todoroki, right? I can't believe you're wandering around here, all by yourself. You must be really confident."

"But even if he is from U.A. High, acting alone is just asking for trouble." The green shinobi pointed out.

"A ten on one fight?" The blue shinobi counted their number advantage. "He doesn't stand a chance."

"This is great." Shoto said out loud as he got ready to fight. "Now I don't have to find opponents."

"Hm. Aren't you cool." The red shinobi replied as they jumped into action, throwing balls towards their target.

Shoto acted fast and created a mound of ice to protect himself from the balls, then made trails of ice that managed to catch them all when they landed. As the shinobi struggled to get out, the ice user spoke to them. "You were surprised? I thought you said you watched the Sports Festival."

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST The Power of Endeavor]

The red shinobi took out a hex nut and then threw it. "Don't get cocky! We're prepared!" The nut then grew to a very large proportion, making Todoroki create a bigger mound of ice to block the projectile. "That's not all I brought with me!" He then threw out multiple nails and more hex nuts that also grew after he threw them. Shoto kept his defenses up, seeing if this was all the red shinobi had to offer, but soon his ice began to crack from the dozens of large nails and hex nuts breaking into it, soon enough making it give way. Another massive hex nut came flying towards him, and Todoroki tried to counter it with a fire wave, but it bulldozed through the attack, forcing the flame user to get out of the way. The red shinobi freed himself and his allies with the nails before speaking to their opponent. "Your fire won't work against any of my tools. Tungsten has a super high melting point. I'm afraid I told you so, Todoroki! Even if you're a top U.A. student, you think you can pass this exam alone? Well then, your pride will be your downfall."

"You fools." Todoroki sent out a flame wave towards the shinobi.

"Do it!" The red shinobi commanded the blue and black shinobi.

"Right!" The two jumped into action and blasted water and mud, nullifying the fire.

Shoto backed up and created an Ice mound to block more incoming nails and nuts, as the red shinobi gave out more orders. "Keep attacking! Don't let up!"

"Got it!" the yellow shinobi said before splitting into two, each missing one eye, then they grabbed some pipes and threw them at the Icu user, who created another mound of ice, only for that to break too.

Todoroki shot out more fire, but the blue and black shinobi shot out their mud and water. "It's useless to resist!" the blue one yelled out.

The clash of fire and water had managed to cancel eachother out, and it made a thick cloud of steam that blinded the shinobi at the moment. "Where'd he go?" The red one looked around himself. As the flame user began to retreat to a more favorable location he made a light with his fire that the shinobi spotted. "There he is! Surround him!"

The shinobi jumped to the ground and began to pursue, but Shoto used his ice and struck a large container, guessing that this factory setting was constructed to be as close to the real thing as possible, meaning that this container should have a certain combustible gas that he could use against his enemies.

The group of shinobi reached the fire, but when they were close, they saw that it was a burning sign, that was close to the container with ice penetrating it. "He got us!" The red shinobi realized. They were too late to get out of the way though, as the son of Endeavor shot a flame wave at the container, making it explode and sending all the shinobi flying, as well as damaging their attire, all while he protected himself from the explosion with an ice mound. When they landed on the ground, all their arms and legs were encased in ice. "To pull such a move...He's crazy."

"Well, it looks like the commission kept the force of the explosion from being too damaging." The Ice user commented as he walked over to his incapacitated targets. "Apologies, but I simply cannot afford to fail."

After eliminating all of the shinobi by tapping their targets with his balls, he walked away and realized that he needed to find a way to use both of his powers at the same time somehow. Then, he saw his targets light up blue, and an automated voice spoke to him. "Students who have passed the exam, should congregate in the anteroom. Chop chop."

[Silence]

Mera's voice then came up on the speaker. "So far, 55 people have passed. Don't panic, but do consider that your time is almost up. Good luck."

Shoji used the eyes on his dupli arms to look around through a window to spot people, while Jiro had her earphone jacks in the wall to detect any sound nearby. Asui then spoke to her male classmate. "Having any luck, Shoji?"

"It's no use. I can't see anyone from our class." Mezo answered.

"Maybe they're in another area." Tsu guessed.

"Most likely." Shoji agreed with her, before speaking to another classmate. "Yaoyorozu, you heard that, right? Less than half of the spots remain."

"We should probably give up on finding everyone." Asui said. "We need to fight for ourselves and make sure we pass."

"Yes. That would be wisest." Momo agreed with Tsuyu.

"Shh!" Kyouka hushed them, before informing them of why. "I hear four people climbing the stairs. Ten floors below. They're headed up here."

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Darkness in Heart]

"Are they planning to attack us?" Mezo asked.

"I don't understand that there are only four of them coming, if that's the case." Yaoyorozu stated. "All the other schools have moved in much larger groups than that."

"Maybe their companions were defeated and they're running away to hide in here." Asui thought out loud.

"No. That's not what this sounds like." Kyouka said. "They're not stopping on the other floors."

"Are there more of them hiding somewhere?" Momo wondered. "Is this a distraction, or worse..."

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST I'm Seriously Going to Crush You]

Suddenly Kyouka let out a scream, as she retracted her earphone jacks and fell back, covering her ears in pain. "Jiro!" The class deputy exclaimed.

"Are you okay?!" Tsuyu said as she went to check on her, with Yaoyorozu following suit.

Shoji put an ear on the wall and listened. "There's music playing. It's not too bad for me, but hearing it suddenly must have been a huge shock for Jiro."

"So they must know Kyouka's quirk and were targeting her on purpose." Asui realized.

"It's a coordinated attack." Mezo told them the situation they were in.

"This isn't good. Now we can't tell where anyone is." Momo said, but before she could think of anything, the glass windows around them all began to crack to the point where they would be impossible to look through. She took cover. "Everyone hide!"

"Attacks from the outside?!" Jiro got down.

"What's their plan?!" Tsu questioned while she got down too.

"They're trying to keep me from using my eyes." Mezo realized as he took cover. As the windows were quickly being obscured by the cracks, Momo had analyzed the situation. She knew that these people knew exactly who they were dealing with, as they specifically targeted Kyouka and Shoji's quirks. "Yaoyorozu, what could their next move be?"

"I'm not positive, but it seems likely that they're trying to trap us here." The class deputy said.

"And then they'll surround us and try to attack us as a group." Asui realized.

"Yes." Momo confirmed. "We should assume that they're already close by, waiting for the right moment to strike."

Kyouka put her earphone jacks into her wrist speakers, sounding pissed as she got up. "In that case, we have to fight!"

"Wait! Don't be reckless!" Yaoyorozu yelled out.

"Heartbeat Distor..." Jiro was cut off when her wrist speakers were immediately shot at and broken to bits from an unknown sharpshooter that was outside. She began to bleed as the speakers weren't the only thing that was hit. She got down again.

"Jiro!" Shoji called out.

"Are you injured?" Momo asked.

"They got my amp." She winced in pain. "And my left ear."

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Surpassing You]

It was at this point that Yaoyorozu realized that they were dealing with someone who had to be a master strategist, due to them being able to come up with a plan to specifically combat their abilities, and find a counter to Kyouka's new Ultimate move after only seeing it once. Before she could even think of any countermeasures though, Mezo spoke up again. "Does it feel colder to you?"

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Iron Battle]

"Actually now that you mention it, yes." Momo answered as she began to shiver, and then realized what was happening. "It's coming from the vents."

The windows that were cracked from before then had metal blinds cover them. "They shut us in!?" Shoji noticed.

"The temperature is steadily decreasing." Yaoyorozu pointed out.

"This place is turning into a freezer!" Jiro said.

Tsuyu couldn't take the cold and quickly fell unconscious. "Asui! What's wrong!?" Mezo noticed first.

"Oh crap!" Kyouka knew what was happening to her. "Since the temperature dropped all of a sudden, her body is going into hibernation!"

"We need fire. Make a lighter, or matches." Shoji told Momo.

"No, I can't. It would set the sprinklers off." The class Deputy pointed out. "That's only going to make her even colder."

"An electric heater, or something?!" Jiro said.

"Our opponents have control over the air conditioner." Yaoyorozu stated as she made a blanket. "They've probably turned off the electricity as well. Here's a blanket for now."

"Alright." Mezo took it, but then they heard something coming from the door and saw sparks coming from it.

"What are they doing to the door!?" Kyouka questioned.

"Welding it shut, trapping us further." Momo answered.

"Are they trying to freeze us solid?" Shoji wondered as he wrapped Tsu in the blanket and held her close.

"Those doors over there are the only ones we have left." Jiro pointed to twin doors that were the only untouched area in the room.

"We could break through." The dupli armed boy said.

"Our opponents are most definitely waiting on the other side." Yaoyorozu stated. "It's dangerous."

"How did they manage to out-think us so quickly?" Shoji asked.

"What are we supposed to do?" The sound based girl was losing confidence.

"If we stay holed up in this room, we'll have to do something about the cold, otherwise we'll be done for." Mezo pointed out.

"Yaomomo, what if you made a bomb?" Kyouka suggested. "We could blow the door to the emergency exit."

"We'd run the risk of causing a phreatic explosion. And they likely knew we'd think about that, which is why they sealed the observation room and lowered the temperature." Momo shot that idea down too.

"Then WHAT!?" Jiro was honestly open for any ideas at this point.

The class deputy had to think fast. Jiro's damaged ear meant that her power can't be used to the fullest, and the biggest issue right now was the cold. The only thing she could think of at the moment was using her quirk to make something to block the vents, but that would take too much energy, but it was all she could think of. She prepared to make something.

[Silence]

But then she stopped, which Kyouka noticed. "Hey, why aren't you making anything?"

"Is there something wrong?" Shoji asked.

"No matter how many different ways I look at this situation, I get the same answer." Yaoyorozu turned to them. "The enemies want me to use my quirk."

"Until you can't create anything else." Mezo realized.

"Right." Momo confirmed. "My quirk has many applications. They can't account for all the things it might make, which is why they're doing this. At first I thought they manipulated the air conditioning to take Asui off the board, but I believe their true intention was to force my hand and exhaust me."

"Very clever. And once you're powerless, they'll march in." Shoji noted. "No doubt, they could easily hit our targets."

"Yes, so I can't use it. We'd just be playing right into their hands." Yaoyorozu stated. "We wait for the need to arise, when there's no other option."

"But if we stay hiding in here, there's no possible way we'll pass the licensing exam." Jiro argued. "We should just charge out that door, and attack them head on."

"I'm sure that such a smart enemy has predicted that we might do that." Mezo pointed out.

"Okay fine, then what do we do?!" Kyouka was still open to any suggestions.

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Your Power]

Momo had to think, what would one of her other classmates do in this situation. But then the words of Izuku rang into her mind. "I know It'll hurt...but if I can still move at all, then I can't just sit still. I have to reach out and do something. Because all I can think about is saving them." She then heard Sora's voice ring out to her. "Well, I just follow my Heart. It's what I always do." Those words made her decide to stop thinking with her head, and to let her heart guide her through this. And her heart was telling her to save her allies, she could care less about herself and should focus on them. That's what matters right now.

She pulled out her textbook and made up a plan. "Everyone, please. Endure these conditions for a few more minutes." Yaoyorozu exposed her chest and began to start using her quirk, within eyesight of Shoji and Jiro.

"Hey! Are you crazy!?" Kyouka got in the middle of Momo and Mezo, while the latter turned away.

"Just bear with me!" The class deputy said as she made four sets of headphones.

"Huh? Why headphones?" Jiro asked.

"Please, put them on." Yaoyorozu instructed while she made something else, something big with most of her strength.

"Wait, is that?..." Kyouka realized what was going on.

Just outside the door the U.A. kids were trapped in, a group of female students, led by one drinking tea were waiting for them outside. The girl with tea then stopped drinking and had a look of superiority and victory on her face. "Prepare to take them, ladies."

"Yes, ma'am." The other girls got ready to attack.

As the group prepared to begin their attack, they suddenly were assaulted by an extremely powerful sonic wave that knocked all of them out, except the one who was drinking tea before, who barely managed to keep herself up. "NGH No!...Is this...a sonic...attack?!"

Inside the freezing hallway, the four students had the earphones in to protect themselves from the powerful sonic attack, as Kyouka had her one working earphone jack plugged into a massive stereo, significantly amplifying the sound user's power. "The headphones help, but the force is rattling my body!"

Tsuyu was starting to come to, from the blanket and Shoji's body heat both warming her, and likely the sonic force rattling her too, and the boy noticed. "Asui, are you alright?!"

"Please! Everyone! Seven more seconds...and it'll be over!" Momo told them and began her countdown. "Six...Five...Four..." they got ready to bust out. "Three...Two...One!" They stopped playing the sound and then exited the room through the door that was left for them.

[Silence]

They saw multiple girls wearing the same uniform, all knocked out, prime for being tagged. "Alright. We rocked this." Kyouka was glad to see that work.

Momo was exhausted but glad to see her team was okay. "Now hit their targets."

"You got it." Shoji replied while letting Tsu down, as she woke up. "Can you move?"

"Yeah, Ribbit." Asui answered. "I'll be okay."

"Thank goodness." Yaoyorozu walked out, "Haaah?!" but then she was grabbed by someone who was hiding behind the door and pulled into the room, with the door shut behind them.

"NO!" Jiro exclaimed as she and the others saw the door shut and heard it lock almost immediately.

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Villain Invasion]

Inside the room, the girl that was with Momo was the one who had drank the tea and was seemingly the leader of the group. "You used your quirk to attack, not defend. It was a high risk move." She said while holding one ear in pain. "I can't believe a U.A. student would choose such a method." She approached her, looking pissed off. "But because of that, you can't fight now, can you? I may not pass, but I'll make sure you don't either!" Even though Yaoyorozu was extremely weakened, she wasn't going to give up. As the girl attacking her came with a ball in hand, she used her quirk again and made handcuffs to bind the girl and her together. "YOU'RE STRUGGLING IN VAIN!"

The door the girl locked then burst open from Kyouka and Mezo both slamming their bodies into it, while Tsuyu jumped up and used her tongue to grab and bind the girl's other arm, restricting her, and surprising both her and Momo. "You guys..." the class Deputy uttered out loud.

"Why did you come back?" The restricted girl was confused. "Surely you'd assume that I already hit all three of her triggers. We're in the middle of the licensing exam. You should be thinking of yourselves, not your other classmates."

"That might be how you roll, but not us." Jiro told the restricted girl. "We're obviously different."

"She's our friend, which means we'd never leave her behind." Asui added.

"And we don't give up." Shoji concluded, as he and the others remembered the words of Sora following his heart as well, choosing to do the same.

"It's how Class 1-A is. We look out for each other" Yaoyorozu spoke up, looking at the restricted girl dead in the eyes.

[Silence]

The rival student closed her eyes and dropped the ball in her head. "You defeated me completely, U.A. doesn't disappoint."

Back with Sora, he stood against two students, both very well equipped from the looks of it. The boy with wings had a confident grin on his face, while the triangle tattoos on his hands had a very focused and serious look. Then the boy with wings spoke. "You're Sora, right? The runner up at the Sports Festival?"

"Um...yeah?" The Keyblade wielder answered.

"I figured you'd be tougher to catch off guard." The boy with wings said. "Then again, you did get messed up twice before during surprise attacks, so we should have known better."

Sora figured that the boy was referring to the Keyblade wielder's times on the news, in which he was shown injured from Hosu and Kamino. "I'm guessing that you want to take me out of the game."

"What better person to eliminate than U.A.'s best?" The winged boy reasoned. "That'll give us something really good to report to our teachers."

[Play Death Battle OST Final Breath]

Sora got into his battle stance. "Well, you're gonna have to really work for that. I don't lose so easily."

"Then let's go!" The winged boy said, taking flight and soaring over the Keyblade wielder, but the U.A. student was forced to block an arrow that was shot from the bow that triangle tattooed student had, before he switched to a shield and short sword. The winged boy landed then made a declaration to his opponent, holding his bow that was split back into twin blades. "Get ready to lose to Kid Icarus, and Skyward Sword!"

"And you get ready to lose to Light Heart!" Sora called out, accepting the challenge of facing these two at the same time. The Keyblade wielder saw them both run towards him from opposite sides, and he prepared to fight them both on his own.

Kid Icarus got their first, lunging forward and attacking Sora with his twin blades, but The Keyblade wielder blocked and parried accordingly, pushing the winged boy back before Skyward Sword got close and begat to attack as well, making Sora turn around to defend himself from him next, managing to find an opening and kick the triangle tattooed boy away. Kid Icarus closed the distance again and then continued the attack, but Sora already knew what to do and quickly pushed his attacker back once more.

This pattern continued for a bit, with one of them attacking the Keyblade wielder when the other gets pushed back, constantly pressuring him, and making him defend one side. Since he only had one blade to use and his other attacks require that he have distance between them in order for him to use. The strategy would have been brilliant, if it weren't for the fact that the blade that Sora was using would give him a certain benefit that these two will soon come to know. And they helped him build up enough energy to use it.

As both Kid Icarus and Skyward Sword reached him at the same time. The Keyblade wielder then erupted with light as he gathered enough energy to go into Valor Form. Two Become One split into the twin blades and Sora used the blade to block both attacks, catching the two off guard, before the Keyblade wielder pushed them both back, and then went on the attack, going for Skyward Sword first, continuously attacking him until he managed to break the Isamu student's sword and force him to keep his shield up.

The thrashing of the twin blades was powerful, but the shield held firm for now, though he wouldn't be able to hold Sora back forever. Thankfully, he didn't need to, as a white feather with a ball on the end of it struck Sora's target on his shoulder, catching the Keyblade wielder by surprise, as he saw Kid Icarus was the one who sent that. The winged student then shot more feathers at him, using his twin blades, which was reconverted into a bow. The feathers moved fast and were poised to hit their intended target without fail.

As Sora began to deflect the feathers away from him, he noticed Skyward Sword retreat to gain some distance between the two of them. The Keyblade wielder was unable to do anything about it, as he was stuck deflecting even more feathers, as Kid Icarus kept shooting more as he flew over towards his partner's location and landed, making sure to not let up on the pressure. Then Skyward Sword took out his bow and somehow summoned arrows through his triangle tattoos, before joining in and shooting his own arrows at Sora.

The Keyblade wielder decided to forgo defense and rush at the pair, deflecting away a few arrows and feathers, but otherwise ignoring and sidestepping the rest of the projectiles as he very quickly got close to the pair. Kid Icarus took flight to keep his distance, but before Skyward Sword could do anything, Sora had closed the distance and swung at him hard. The attack struck the shield, but the power of the swing broke the triangle tattooed student's guard, giving Sora the opportunity to swing at and destroy his bow.

Kid Icarus saw the trouble that his ally was in, and then plucked off more feathers from his wings, placed them on his bow string, pulled back and then held the position, for a moment. The feathers then began to glow blue as the energy of the hard light formed around them, until they formed actual arrows, made of that very hard light. He then shot them towards his partner's attacker, who noticed them, but then did something that he did not expect. Sora hopped and landed on his partner's shield then pushed himself off it towards him.

That had caught the winged boy completely off guard, and he was frozen in shock. At that moment, Sora had closed the distance and when his face was mere inches away from Kid Icarus' face, he smirked, as he took one of his balls and struck the target on the winged boy's left wrist. The sound of the target being hit snapped Kid Icarus out of it, but it was too late for him to back away now, as Sora grabbed him and swung to his back.

Kid Icarus struggled to force the Keyblade wielder off of his back, but Sora held on, using the ball in his hand to hit the second target that was placed on the winged boy's back between the base linings of his wings. As he had his sights set on the third target on Kid Icarus, he prepared to go in for the strike. Just as he was about to eliminate his opponent however, metal clamps attached to a chain had grabbed Sora's wrist. Then another set of clamps attached to a chain gripped his other hand. "Huh?!" He looked to see the source of the restraints.

Skyward Sword, with two hook shots in hand, and a determined look on his face, then pulled with all his strength, while retracting the chains to the hook shots towards him, had forced Sora off of his ally's back and back towards him. As Sora shattered the chains on one of the hook shots, the triangle tattooed student took his shield out and closed the distance, landing a solid shield bash on Sora, causing the Keyblade wielder to get pushed back. The Isamu student then conjured something else from his tattoos on his hand.

Sora skidded to a halt on the ground, before shattering the other chain that was on him. As he looked back towards the one who did that to him, he quickly slashed at and shattered a ceramic pot that was thrown at him from that direction, seeing Skyward Sword with two more in his hands.

The pointy eared student then threw the pots towards Sora before conjuring up one more from his triangle tattoos on the backs of his hands, but this one he threw had a surprise in store. The Keyblade wielder slashed and destroyed the next two pots that were thrown at him, and when he struck the third one, he noticed something inside it. When he realized what it was, it was too late as an explosion was set off and he was blasted back.

When Sora recovered from the blast, out of the smoke came Kid Icarus, along with the multiple feathers that he had used before following him, making Sora realize that his quirk was the ability to control those feathers. Kid Icarus and feathers continuously attacked Sora, over and over again, keeping him on the defensive, but the Keyblade wielder was not going to let these two regain the advantage. He swung hard and knocked the winged boy away, before focusing on the feathers.

Sora used Valor Form to its fullest potential, speedily slashing through the feathers and cutting them to pieces with precision, force, and speed that was almost too fast for the eye to see. Soon enough, all of the feathers that weren't still on Kid Icarus' wings were slashed to the point of being unusable. Sora then turned his attention to the boy who had control over said feathers, and blitzed over to him.

The Keyblade wielder attacked with that same speed and ferocity, forcing Kid Icarus to do nothing but defend himself, as he could not find a way to break Sora's attacks, nor could he find a way to counter them. He didn't need to though, and just needed to buy his partner more time. The winged boy's guard was soon broken and then he felt Sora hit a ball on the target on his right arm, before being kicked hard enough to lose his balance, making him trip and fall.

Just as Sora was about to capitalize on that mistake, he was caught off guard when he heard what sounded like an ocarina playing. He looked to see Kid Icarus immediately take flight upon hearing that, but before he could pursue, he avoided a ball on an arrow shot towards his shin target.

The Keyblade wielder turned and saw Skyward Sword, with a new bow in his hands. The pointy eared student then put it away and conjured another, larger and more fancy designed sword and tapped his shield with it, tempting Sora to come at him. The Keyblade wielder knew that something was up, but he didn't have time to think about it right now, so he just charged forward, towards the opponent that was baiting him. He ran forward and avoided more arrows being shot at him, then jumped up to avoid a ceramic pot, on the chance that it hid an explosive inside. He then noticed Kid Icarus fly behind him in the air, but then had to avoid another metal clamp and chain coming at him.

The hook shot had clamped onto Kid Icarus, but then he pulled Skyward Sword towards him, who barely missed striking Sora's chest with a ball. As the Keyblade wielder landed however, the real trap sprung as he held a slate in his hand behind his shield that he tapped.

The ground suddenly broke apart and blasted to bits under and around Sora as he was led into a self made mine field. The Keyblade wielder was caught off balance and he lost grip of his black blade, as he was unable to keep himself balanced. To make matters worse for him, more explosives were coming down, as Skyward Sword, who was being held by Kid Icarus conjured more up from his triangle tattoos and threw that at the boy.

Sora began to get buried under the ground from the many explosions, and he was continuously getting blasted over and over again, unable to find any solid footing, nor get any time to look, as the explosives kept coming. His AR Device began to beep rapidly, as it showed that he was also starting to run a little low on vitality from the constant battering, so he needed to act fast. He had gathered enough energy to do something that should turn the tables back into his favor.

The Two Isamu students were caught off guard again when another eruption of light happened, and they saw the ground that their opponent was under get blasted away. Skyward Sword tried to throw the explosive in his hand to keep up the pressure, but was completely blind sighted by the black blade suddenly flying towards them and slashing the explosive, blowing it up and knocking the two Isamu students away from each other and out of the sky. Skyward Sword used his shield to soften some of his fall, while Kid Icarus corrected himself with his wings.

When the two students looked back to Sora, his costume changed again, this time to a yellow color. The black blade went back to him and hovered around his left arm, while the Keyblade wielder held the silver blade in his right hand and casted cure to heal himself. He was now in master form and could use his magic again. Sora saw that the two boys he was facing were shocked to see him still able to fight, and also heal himself of most of the damage they inflicted on him.

The Keyblade wielder then spoke up to the pair as he got into his battle stance. "Let's see if you can handle this form!" He saw the two Isamu students get into their own battle stances, and prepare to kick this fight up a notch.

[Silence]

Elsewhere in the highway section of the stadium, Katsuki, Ejiro and Denki were climbing up to get there. The red haired student spoke up. "Hey Kaminari. Why'd you follow us?"

"I dunno. Cause you guys started running. "The electric student answered. "I didn't want to end up alone. Where are we going?"

"Shut up!" The explosive student barked out.

"Why do you always gotta sound so mad?" Denki asked.

"I told you to chill out, Bakugo." Kirishima said. "Looks like there's a lot of people up there, so the three of us should work together."

"Go die." Katsuki told him, not liking the idea of teamwork.

"Come on, man." Ejiro replied, before noticing something to the group's left, and pushing Bakugo out of the way. "Look out!"

The hard skinned student then got hit with a weird meat slab of some sort, and then quickly engulfed by it. "Kirishima!" Kaminari called out in concern. The meat slab condensed and then flew past the two remaining boys, back to another student, showing Ejiro's body in a disgusting deformed and mushed together blob. "What the crap? Did that really just happen?!"

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Evil of Psychology]

"All I know is that bastard looks like he's to blame." Bakugo looked at the student, who was wearing a Shiketsu hat. "So I'll kill him."

"More examinees have passed." Mera's voice rang out. "We're at 59 people now. That means there are 41 spots left."

Over with Izuku Ochako and Hanta, they were forced to take cover to avoid being spotted by multiple groups of students from Ketsubutsu. "We're running out of time." Sero pointed out. "This is bad, what do we do?"

"Yeah. I knew we'd be in trouble if we got split." Midoriya said. "But at least we can probably do something about the group that's near us and maybe even make a few points."

"Really?" Hanta replied. "What are you thinking?"

"Earlier, someone tried to outpace his classmates." Izuku began to explain to his teammates. "He was panicking that he wouldn't get enough points in. Since his class attacked as a group, they'd definitely end up fighting over their targets."

"Oh." Uraraka realized what he meant. "So as people get worried, they'll break away from their classmates and then they'll be at a big disadvantage."

"Wait, then why were you saying that we should all stick together?" Sero questioned. "We'd be in the same boat."

"Well to begin with, we were told to hit weak points with balls, so it's easy to think of this as target practice. And without knowing our opponents' quirks, we're basically going in blind. But it's not easy or efficient to go after moving targets, because after all, they'll be protected. " Midoriya pointed out. "Think about it. I wanted to first make sure that we trapped enough people for everyone in our glass to pass, then we'd use our balls only after they couldn't move anymore. Our class has a lot of people who excel in restraining groups, so I kind of thought it wouldn't be any trouble."

"I see." Hanta replied. "It's true that if were were just doing target practice, they'd only be able to tell whether or not we were good shots. There's more to this test than I originally realized."

[Silence]

"Shh!" Ochako hushed them and whispered. "Listen, you guys." They heard footsteps. "Does it sound like they're getting closer?"

"What should we do?" Sero asked.

"I'll go after them." Izuku said, surprising the tape user. "I'll be a decoy so you can move. Be on the lookout for openings that'll let you immobilize people to get some points. Your quirks are better at that than mine. I'm more of a fighter."

"A decoy." Hanta repeated. "There's three of us, so we'd need six people. Wait, eight. Because Sora."

"Sora can handle himself." Midoriya assured him. "No doubt that whoever surprised Sora is having the struggle of their life right now against him. I have faith that he can pass on his own. We should focus on passing ourselves, so that we can stand together with him."

"Roger." Uraraka was on board with that, having faith in the Keyblade wielder's abilities too. "Sero, let's do it."

Hanta was hesitant, but decided to go for it. "Okay, fine."

The three got ready to pass. "Now, move." Izuku instructed.

Back on the highway section of the stadium, the student facing Katsuki and Denki spoke to them. It was the purple haired student that berated Inasa. "I'm from Shiketsu. PLease notice, my school keeps our hats on when we're working. Why's that? Because, each and every one of our movements is crowned by the legacy and honor of our school." He dropped Ejiro's blob. "This is a demonstration, proof of the difference in level between my peers and your vulgar class. We value obligation and dignity. Things that appear to be sorely lacking among you."

"I really hate your type." Bakugo said with a smirk.

"He's hard to follow." Kaminari didn't fully understand what the Shiketsu student was saying. "Makes me feel kind of dumb."

"He's said his beady eyes are full of tears, so he can't see how strong his opponents are." Katsuki told his classmate.

"My eyes are dry and handsome, thank you!" The Shiketsu student replied, taking offense to the comment.

[Silence]

"Hey! Maybe don't provoke this guy?" Denki suggested. "Look what he did to Kirishima."

The explosive student kept his focus on their soon to be opponent, as the Shiketsu student spoke again. "U.A. High. I have respect for your school. I take pride in the fact that our institutions are treated as equals. But your class is shameful. You act in ways that disgrace Heroes." His arms behind his back glowed before more of those fleshy blobs came from behind him.

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST All Might with U.A. Students]

"He's attacking again!" Kaminari realized. "I don't wanna be gross!"

"Shut up!" Bakugo told him, before speaking to the Shiketsu student. "Obligation? Dignity? You just like to hear yourself talk. I don't see any proof. Show us with your actions, not your cheap words! If you can."

"Beast. You're the worst of all, Bakugo!" The Shiketsu student launched his flesh mounds, while Katsuki charged forward, ready to fight him head on, using a rapid fire of AP Shots to blast the fleshy blobs thrown at him until they were destroyed, shocking the Shiketsu student.

Back with Izuku, he had moved into the open and had managed to draw the attention of a few of the Ketsubutsu students and lure them to him, all while avoiding multiple balls being thrown at him. Once enough of them were separated and sectioned away, Hanta and Ochako struck, immobilizing some of them.

Meanwhile back with Sora, he had engaged his two opponents with Master Form and was pushing them back, even landing a hit on a target on the triangle tattooed student's target on his knee.

Back on the stands, Ms. Joke had something in her hand and offered it to Aizawa. "Want some gum?"

"It's really a finger trap, isn't it?" The U.A. teacher didn't fall for it. "I hate this. It's frustrating that we can't tell who passes and fails in real time."

"And Shindo only made it worse, by splitting the ground open. Now it's hard to see anything." Ms. Joke added while sticking the gum she offered in her mouth to chew. "Wait! Eraser, are you actually worried?"

"There's something I've realized after watching my students. In school and in the field." Aizawa told her. "They might not have fully realized it themselves, but in Class 1-A, there are three people whose spirit's have a big impact. Two of them aren't leaders, or the most popular, nor do they get along at all. Sometimes those two seem like polar opposites. But before I knew it, the passion of all three of them had spread to the rest of their peers. It's strange, but every time there's some kind of major event, one of the two is always at the center of it, with the third of them always there to support them somehow. I'm not worried, Joke. It's the opposite actually. I can't wait to see what they'll do. Even if those three aren't physically with the others, their presence raises the standard for the entire class."

"You've fallen for them hard. It's kind of gross." Ms. Joke said as she blew a bubble with her gum.

[Silence]

"I'm honored to have them as students." Aizawa affirmed his statement. "MY class 1-A."

Back with Bakugo, he smirked at his small AP shots. "I had to make a weak version, so I didn't kill anyone."

"You know, this is why everyone's terrified of you! You're way to hardcore!" Kaminari told him, as he saw the fleshy bits go back to the Shiketsu student's arms. "So those nasty things just float back to him?"

The purple haired student let out a sigh and calmed down. "I see now. I'll teach you a lesson by breaking you." His arms made more flesh blobs. "This will show you what it means to be dignified, and behave like a Hero!"

"What is up with this disgusting dude?" Denki was creeped out.

"He thinks he's better than us." Katsuki said before charging in. "But I bet he'll shut up after I blow him to pieces!"

"Hey wait! Don't forget that we're in the middle of a test!" The electric student reminded him.

"That's exactly why I'll kill the guy!" The explosive student roared out.

"Observe!" The Shiketsu student sent out the fleshy blobs, but in a more tactical manner, forcing Bakugo to stop his charge and blast them to keep himself from making contact with them. One nearly reached him, but he was able to react fast enough and take it out.

"Let's just get this fight over with!" Denki said as he shot out a pair of disks from his launcher on his wrist. "Maybe this'll speed things along!"

"You should work on your aim." The Shiketsu student said as he dodged the disks, before looking at Katsuki. "And your look. Maybe I can make you something more appealing."

"Enough talk!" Bakugo shot out more AP shots. "DIE!"

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST It Sounds Scary at Midnight]

The Shiketsu student made a wall of flesh in front of him to protect himself from the blasts. "You've left yourself open." He told his opponent, as fleshy bits got onto Katsuki and quickly began to morph the explosive student. "You weren't paying attention. I had a piece of flesh sneak beneath us. You saw earlier with Kirishima. Once I touch you, you're my plaything."

"Bakugo!" The electric student saw his classmate's distress.

"Hurry! Idiot! Catch this!" Katsuki threw something from his belt to Denki, who caught it, but then he was converted into the same kind of deformed blob that Ejiro had been turned into.

"Pathetic. You must be remade from scratch." The Shiketsu student berated him.

"No...way..." Kaminari said as he saw his remaining ally taken out of commission in a really gross way.

"This is a demonstration." The Shiketsu student spoke to him. "The test has an unusually low passing rate. At first this seemed counterintuitive, given our current world. With All Might retired, wouldn't it make more sense to flood the streets with Heroes? And so, I must assume that their goal is to weed out the riff raff. We can surmise that they're starting to be more selective in order to bring the profession of Hero to a higher level. And I agree with this way of thinking, so I decided to thin the herald myself."

"You're ignoring the test, because you think you're superior?" Denki realized. "What are you? A crazy person?"

"I'm simply separating the mediocre and extraordinary." The Shiketsu student said, stepping on Kirishima's deformed mound and smearing his boot on it. "By the way, your comrades here still feel pain in this form. Your untamed electricity will hurt your friends if you use it."

[Silence]

Kaminari groaned in annoyance. "You've been doing nothing but throwing insults at us the entire time. I'm kind of starting to take it personally, you know."

"Then perhaps you are more self aware than I thought." The Shiketsu student gave him that as he prepared more flesh blobs to attack with. "I'd take time to reflect on your failure."

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Go Seize It.]

As the flesh blobs blitzed towards Denki, he threw the item that Bakugo had given him, which landed beside the Shiketsu student and exploded, knocking the flesh manipulator off balance. He was confused as Katsuki was out of commission, but as Kaminari dodged the flesh coming at him, he spoke to his opponent. "Those ugly ass gauntlets of his, aren't just some kind of fashion statement. He can use that gear, along with his nitro sweat to make simple grenades."

"That's it." The Shiketsu student realized. "He tossed it to you."

Denki put his visor on and spoke again. "By the way, big shot. You've stumbled into a really killer spot!" He charged up his electricity and pointed his arm out, making a finger gun as he aimed towards the flesh manipulator. He shot out a bolt and it went towards the two disks that the electric student had shot out earlier, acting as receivers to the electrical wave he generated. The Shiketsu student was right in the middle of that bolt's path however, and it struck him with a powerful shock, but only him, and nobody else. Kaminari stopped the attack when the Shiketsu student dropped to his knee. "Listen up! Bakugo might seem like a total jerk on the surface, but he's actually trying really hard to be a Pro Hero. He threw that grenade to me while being attacked. That was a result of calm judgment and planning. And Kirishima is such a good dude that he'd rushed into enemy territory for his friends, even though it was a totally stupid thing to do." As he defended his friend's honor, those two specific flesh mounds seemed to be reforming at the moment, due to the Shiketsu student being weakened. "You only know bits and pieces of information about these guys, don't insult what you don't know!" He got ready to zap him again.

"I'LL TEACH YOU TO BE MORE AWARE OF YOUR PLACE, YOU DEGENERATES!" The Shiketsu student was pissed off and was about to attack again, but then he got punched hard in the gut by a reformed Ejiro, then blasted by a reformed Katsuki.

[Silence]

"The more damage he takes, the more people get released." Kirishima realized.

"No wonder he was only using long distance attacks." Bakugo noted.

"Thanks for the save, Kaminari." Ejiro told his friend.

"You idiot. What took so long!?" Katsuki questioned him.

"Why are you so mean?! No one's ever gonna like you if you act that way!" Denki told his explosive classmate, before seeing something else. "Whoa, look behind you! Those other flesh balls are all waking up!"

"Heh. We've got targets." Bakugo sneered as he and his classmates got ready for another fight.

"Currently 70 people have passed. 30 more and we'll be done." Mera's voice said on the speakers.

Back with Izuku, he continued to act as a decoy, and was avoiding the constant bombardment of quirks and balls coming at him. Soon, Hanta was avoiding some of the flack too. "Faster, Sero!"

The tape user got next to him. "Midoriya! Carry me and jump!" The One For All user was confused. "Just do it!" Izuku then did as he was told and the two were soon airborne. "You're up Uraraka!"

Ochako, who was currently hidden behind cover, then put her fingertips together. "Release!" Just then, a series of boulders that were attached to lines of tape fell down towards the groups of students that were pursuing the two U.A. boys. When they landed, most of the students were caught in the trap.

"Tape!? Seriously!?" One of them struggled to get up.

"They stuck boulder's on the end and trapped us!" Another realized.

"Not me!" Another student said, only to get ensnared immediately by Hanta himself. "What?!"

"I gave some tape to Uraraka and had her set some snares for us." The tape user explained.

"Oh whoa." Izuku was surprised at how many they got. "I said to get as many as possible, but this is nuts."

"In order to make sure that no one was in a spot where they would get crushed by the debris, I hid and figured out the perfect timing." Ochako said as she reached the boys.

"Looks like 75 people have passed at this point. We'll be at capacity soon." Mera's voice came up on the speaker.

"We don't have much time. And I'm sure others will come for us soon." Sero said as he and the others grabbed a ball for themselves. "Let's take em out."

"You guys are first years right? Come on. Can't you give us a break?" One student pleaded. "We HAVE to earn our Provisional Hero Licenses this time around."

[Silence]

While it sucked to do this they didn't falter and eliminated them to secure their places. "I'm sorry, but so do I." Midoriya told them.

Back with Sora, he had pushed the two Isamu students back once more and they had to catch their breath. They realized that the Keyblade wielder had gotten significantly more difficult to handle now, but they didn't have the luxury to retreat anymore, with how little time they had left to get points.

The two then were forced to dodge multiple Thundara spells, as Sora casted them above the pair. Kid Icarus then reformed his bow and shot some feathers towards Sora, but the Keyblade wielder cartwheeled to the side to avoid the projectiles as he casted more Thundara spells at them. Skyward Sword raised his shield above him and managed to block one of the bolts, but it was still a hard hit that had briefly forced him to his knee, which left him open to Sora throwing a ball at the target on his stomach area.

Sora then saw the feathers that were shot at him start to come back towards him. Thinking fast, he casted fire around himself, burning the feathers as they approached him, while acting as a barrier while he blitzed towards the pair. The two students were forced to dodge the incoming Sora, and were split from each other because of that. Skyward Sword conjured up a boomerang and threw it towards the Keyblade wielder, who dodged the projectile and then shot a burst of Blizzara magic towards him, who almost avoided all of them, only to get his feet trapped.

Sora then ran towards the triangle tattooed student and assaulted him with both the silver blade in his hands, and the black blade that he was telekinetically controlling. The sudden shift in fighting style was too much for Skyward Sword to handle, and his new sword was swatted out of his hands and away from him. He used his shield to try and defend himself, but the wider attacks and hard to track movements of the black blade made it extremely hard to, without getting hit a few times.

Soon, a hard light arrow shot from Kid Icarus had struck the black blade and swatted it away, while two more came after it. One went for Sora and even after the Keyblade wielder dodged it, the arrow continued to pursue him for a while, as the last hard light arrow struck the ice that trapped Skyward Sword and freed him. The winged hero who shot those arrows then charged up some more feathers with his bow, encased them in hard light and then shot them at the Keyblade wielder, who saw them coming and was ready to deal with them.

Sora called back his black blade and then casted a barrier around himself, blocking all the hard light arrows at once. He then reflected the force back to the arrows and broke them, revealing the feathers underneath, that the Keyblade wielder immediately disposed of, before casting Aero at Kid Icarus' location, to knock him off balance and hurdle him around, which used up Sora's magic, making him need to rely on physical combat for a bit, but he didn't mind that. He then made a beeline for Skyward Sword, who had managed to regain his sword he lost during that time, and attacked him once more, but this time the triangle tattooed boy was more used to his new fighting style, so he held his ground this time.

As Kid Icarus managed to regain his balance when the wind stopped flinging him around, he saw his partner blocking Sora's attacks and beginning to find some openings to start attacking back, though the Keyblade wielder could easily block or parry the attempted counters. The winged student then decided to split his bow back into twin blades and join in, blitzing towards the pair and nearly catching Sora by surprise, as he started swinging at him. The Keyblade wielder was pressured at first and needed to defend himself from both attackers, but he soon regained his bearings and managed to push back, using his black blade to keep Kid Icarus busy, while he continued to strike at Skyward Sword with the silver blade in his hands.

As this exchange continued, his magic had enough time to charge, and he took advantage of that, casting Fire around himself to blow back Skyward Sword, but before he could press his attack, the boomerang that was thrown from before had come back and struck Sora in the back of the head, catching him off guard and making him lose balance for a moment. A moment that Skyward Sword took advantage of by throwing a ball at Sora's shin target and hitting it. He attempted to go for the target on his opponent's chest, but the Keyblade wielder had jumped up to avoid the ball hitting him. Skyward Sword conjured another hook shot and took aim at Sora, before firing it towards him, intending to bring the boy back down to his level and continue down there.

To the triangle tattooed student's surprise however, the Keyblade wielder did an aerial dodge and then grabbed the chain. Before he could let go, Sora pulled it hard and brought Skyward Sword up to his level instead. Very restricted in the air, he was attacked by the Keyblade wielder once more, but the two clashed blades in the air with equal strength, and before any advantage could be taken, Skyward Sword twirled his body around mid air and kept his sword arm out, making himself spin like a bladed top as he forced Sora to back off. He descended and landed on the ground, before pulling out his bow, conjuring up new arrows, and then shooting them at his opponent, who deflected them away as he also touched the ground.

Kid Icarus meanwhile was busy trying to swat away the black sword that was attacking him, and it was proving to be difficult, even with using his feathers in tandem with his blades to increase his offensive range. The black blade was still hard to deal with, but he soon plucked out enough feathers to force the black blade to be preoccupied with destroying them, while he himself looked to see his partner in trouble. Choosing to try something rather reckless, he took flight and positioned himself above the pair. Once he was sure that he could hit his target, he blitzed down, straightened his legs, and then with all his might, stomped on Sora's head with both of his feet.

The Keyblade wielder was taken completely by surprise and was dazed by the sudden strike to his head. He had to give the winged student credit. That was a good move and it was well executed. Though he would be more happy with that cleverness if it wasn't just used on him.

The Keyblade wielder then felt himself get tackled to the ground and saw Skyward Sword on top of him, pinning his arms down while Kid Icarus focused on keeping the black blade from reaching Sora to free him of this bind. Unfortunately for them, he had enough energy for one more thing that was going to guarantee him victory.

Sora burst with light once more and Skyward Sword was forced off of him. He pulled out his bow, but it was instantly destroyed by the silver blade, now being telekinetically controlled by Sora, who glowed a brilliant silver color as he was in his final form. As the triangle tattooed student swatted away the silver sword with his own blade, he was tackled by Sora and was too slow to stop him from hitting the remaining targets on him, eliminating him and helping the Keyblade wielder secure his spot.

Kid Icarus saw his partner get eliminated, but before he could retreat, the black and silver blade both attacked him, preventing him from leaving while Sora quickly closed the distance and kicked him high into the air. The Keyblade wielder then flew up to the winged boy's level, seeing him try to flee. Sora caught up fast and then casted fire around himself, catching Kid Icarus' wings ablaze and making him hurdle to the ground, defeated. Sora then threw his ball and it hit the winged boy's back target, eliminating him.

Sora's targets then both turned blue as he powered down and struck a victory pose. "That's the power of the Keyblade!" He cheered, but then he thought about something and said out loud. "I hope that everyone else in my class managed to get enough points." He began to make his way towards the Anteroom, as the voice from the targets suggested, hoping for his classmates' success.

Mera's voice came up on the speaker. "That's 79 people. Everyone's moving at an exhausting pace now." He was getting tired again and sighed. "Hope these kids don't take their youthful energy for granted. The battle royal format is nothing new for the exam, but this time the patterns are a bit unusual. U.A. is usually heavily targeted from the get go but so far those students are still on the board."

[Silence]

Tenya Iida ran around the area, alone for the moment, but soon caught glimpse of someone from his class behind cover, who he approached and called out to. "Aoyama!"

"Bonjour. Are you out here alone?" Yuga asked. "What a coincidence. So am I."

"I've been trying to find as many of our classmates as I can." Tenya explained. "There's a handful of us gathered nearby, but I came to look for stragglers."

"So you left the group, just to come help the others?" Aoyama realized. As Iida nodded to confirm that, he couldn't help but laugh. "You're so funny. How do you even think you'll find people out here? And what are you gonna do if everyone left behind passes without you?"

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST From Me to You]

"First of all, I found you, didn't I?" The class rep answered honestly, which really shocked Yuga. "And if everyone else passes the test, that's a wonderful thing. I'm our Class Representative. It's my duty to lead the others. I want to serve our peers to the best of my abilities. That's what my brother would do. It's through my actions that I will realize my ultimate dream, and I will follow my Heart to achieve that dream. Obviously I do want to get my Provisional License, and the test will be coming to an end soon, so I'll continue my search while trying to pass." He offered a hand to his classmate. "Please, work with me."

[Silence]

"Oh. Three more, one after the other." Mera's voice was heard on the speakers again. "Our total is 82. Only a few more to pass the test."

As Bakugo's group was heading to the Anteroom, Ejiro spoke up. "Whoa. This entire arena is going insane."

"Hey, look! Some of our classmates!" Denki noticed Izuku's group and yelled to them. "AW YEAH! CLASS 1-A REPRESENT!"

"Oh you know it." Ochako replied before cheering herself. "Our class is amazing!"

"You can say that again!" The two groups then noticed another familiar face approaching them.

"Eyyy! Sora!" Kirishima said as he and the others were glad to see him there.

"Nice to see us all passing." The Keyblade wielder commented.

"Yeah! We did it!" Uraraka cheered as she, Hanta, Kaminari, Ejiro and Sora all decided to cheer their class name together. "Class 1-A! Class 1-A! Class 1-A!"

Izuku was glad to see them being cheerful, but he then noticed Bakugo, who kept walking but didn't look really proud, which is odd, because one would think he would be. "So you passed too. How'd you manage that, Deku?" He wondered.

"Kacchan...Hey..." Midoriya was a little surprised to be asked that. He was expecting some insults.

"Guess I shouldn't be surprised with that Quirk you've got." Katsuki said, walking past him. That really surprised the One For All user. "I guess...you've made that borrowed power your own."

That was it. No insults. No screaming. Nothing. Just an objective opinion that held truth to it. "Kacchan..." Izuku muttered out, a little concerned.

The seven of them then entered the Anteroom together and were soon noticed by Momo, Kyouka Mezo and Asui. "Oh hey. What a relief. I was starting to get so worried." The class deputy was happy to see them.

"No need to worry about us, Yaomomo. What's up?" Denki responded. "When did you guys pass? You been here long?"

"We just finished as well." Shoji answered. "Todoroki beat us."

"I was kind of shocked Bakugo and Sora weren't here already." Jiro commented. "But I get it now. It's because you were with them."

"Oh come on! Why is everyone dragging me today?!" Kaminari was, as usual, annoyed with his soundwave using classmate.

"Ochako, the key to take off your targets in the back." Asui told her friend. "They asked us to return them to the shelf, now that we're done."

"Oh cool. Thank you Tsu. I'll do that." Uraraka replied.

"Looks like only twelve from our class have passed." Shoto noticed.

"So nine more to go." Izuku realized.

"And the announcement said only 18 spots left." Yaoyorozu remembered.

"Eh. They can do it. I have faith in them." Sora was sure that the remaining classmates could pass, even when others looked concerned.

Back in the stadium, Yuga was busy avoiding multiple attacks coming at him. He only had one target left on him that wasn't lit and it was about to be hit, but he was saved by Tenya, who pulled him away in time. He spoke to his classmate. "There are two of us, Iida. This has turned into a war. It's going to be very hard for the two of us to survive it. Just leave me here!"

"What are you talking about? Keep fighting! Class 1-A does not give up!" The class rep stood his ground as the pair were surrounded by many enemy students.

"No. That's not what I'm doing!" Yuga said before an explosion interrupted them, making Tenya grab him and run.

"We're finished if we stay put!" Iida noted.

Meanwhile Mineta was with Rikido, Toru and Mina and he spoke up. "Oh balls! We're almost out of time!"

Rikido was with Koji and Fumikage and he wondered out loud. "So how are we gonna get our points?"

"Wow. Eight people just passed at the same time." Mera's voice said on the speakers. "That leaves only ten open spots."

Ms. Joke smiled as she saw who those were. "Those eight were all from my class! See em? They're headed into the Anteroom." She cheered for her students. "Great Job there, kiddos!"

As Yuga and Tenya continued running, the odds were getting slimmer and slimmer for them. The french student still felt his class rep's words ring through his head. Talking about his ultimate dream, and how he'll follow his heart to get there. As those thoughts went through his head, something clicked. He stopped running and got loose from his classmate's grip.

[Silence]

Remembering what he did a few days ago, during his group exercise with Sora, he positioned himself and shot his naval laser directly up, making himself a beacon.

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Surpassing You]

As everyone could see that, Iida looked at him like he was crazy. "Are you out of your mind!? Seriously! What are you doing!?"

"I'm standing out!" Yuga answered.

"Yes. Yes you are. That's exactly the problem!" Tenya exclaimed.

"If you try to protect me, you'll fail the test! I've already got two of my targets hit and they'll be swarming me soon! You'll have a much better chance without me!" Aoyama told him. "Please! Let me do this for you! While I've got the spotlight, you can sneak up on the people who come after me! With your speed you should be able to hit their targets!"

"Where is this even coming from?!" Iida was shocked to see this from Yuga.

"Something you said earlier inspired me. Your ultimate dream." The French boy answered. "I always wanted to be an equal to the amazing people at our school! Our enemies will be here soon! Get ready!"

Tenya then saw dozens of students coming towards the pair, and he was conflicted. "You can't..."

"NOW! YOU HAVE TO RUN!" Aoyama screamed at his classmate.

[Silence]

But then, from the sky, came birds. Not a few birds. Not even a lot of birds. It was every bird that was in the stadium. And they quickly swarmed and pestered the students that were coming after the pair. "This is..." Iida realized who this was.

[Play Boku no Hero Academia OST Nevertheless Go Beyond]

"Thank you, birds!" Koda said as he arrived to assist. "Now continue to swarm this area!"

"Black Abyss!" Tokoyami came into view as Dark Shadow covered him. "Covert Black ops Arms!" He had Dark Shadow attack a few of the distracted students, and knock them into a trap. A trap that was made of purple sticky balls.

Ojiro then came into view and knocked any that were still up, down to other sticky balls to keep them down. "Go go go GO GO!" Mineta said as he kept making more to trap more enemy students. "Get them while they're distracted!"

"Iida, what are you doing!? Don't just stand there!" Mashirao called out.

"You came for us!" Tenya was really happy to see his classmates.

As some students began to recover from the birds, Hagakure then came into view and did an Ultimate move of her own, taking advantage of her light reflection ability. "WARP REFLECTION! Say cheese!" She made herself shine and turned herself into a moving flashbang, blinding any unprepared enemy students, before taking a pair out. "I've got two people out!"

"Same here!" Ojiro said as he took out his two.

"That's two more in. Eight spots left." Mera announced.

"Wait...why would they...?" Aoyama was shocked to see them all come here to help.

"Everyone was going nuts and getting desperate in the final minutes!" Ashido said to him while she and Sato protected each other and themselves. "I couldn't see anything! I couldn't tell who was friend or foe! But then we spotted your belly button laser and we knew that we'd be able to meet up with our classmates again!" She gave her French classmate a thumbs up. "Come on! Let's do this!"

As Yuga saw every one of his classmates fighting and turning the tide together, he then heard Sora's words ring through his mind. "It paid off though! Thanks, Yuga!" "But you still did great, Yuga! All Might and the other teachers will be proud!"

As Ashido got her eliminations, Mera's voice came on the speaker. "Seven spaces remain." Another two from Fumikage. "Six left." Another two from Minoru. "Make that five. The pressure's on now. In the final minutes, U.A. came together and pulled off a massively insane combo." Koji then got two. "Four spots." Then Rikido. "Now three. Ooh! That one's in from Shiketsu High, so only two spots remain" There were only two U.A. students left. Yuga and Tenya, and they both ran for their targets.

"Aoyama. I don't know who you want to be, because I don't know what you're measuring yourself against." Iida said to him as they both got two eliminations to their names. "But this was your doing! Thank you!"

"Well...I guess this means my twinkling won't have to stop after all." Yuga replied, but he didn't flaunt or pose. He took this seriously and was genuinely saying what he was saying from the heart.

"No. Keep twinkling! Whatever that means." The class rep encouraged his classmate.

[Silence]

A buzzer went off. And Mera yelled out "The last students passed! Every spot is now filled. 100 students will advance! The end is finally here! WAHOOO!"

Inside the Anteroom, everyone in 1-A, save for Katsuki and Shoto, were ecstatic to see that their entire class had made it, seeing the end play out right before their eyes on the big screen in the Anteroom. "YYYYEAH!" Denki and Ejiro yelled out at the top of their lungs.

"Our entire class passed the test! That's so exciting!" Ochako screamed out.

"Oh man! I am so proud of us!" Hanta exclaimed, while Tsuyu happily croaked.

"We did it!" Sora cheered out and raised his fist up.

"We really pulled it off, you guys." Izuku said while Momo sighed in relief.

"Yeah." Mezo agreed with him.

"Unfortunately, those of you who failed now have to withdraw from the Licensing Exam." Mera announced. "Please leave the test area immediately."

"They just had to keep me on the edge of my seat, huh?" Aizawa muttered under his scarf. "We are training SO hard, when we get back."

Ms. Joke laughed before replying to him. "Oh come on. You're happy, aren't you?"

"Furious." Aizawa said that with his usual straight face.

"Then what's that sparkle in your eye?" Ms. Joke pointed out while laughing at his face.

"Annoyance." The U.A. teacher told her, but his heart couldn't lie. Deep down, he did feel proud of them, but he'll die before he ever admits to that, especially to Ms. Joke. Now, that the first part is over, he was looking forward to watching his students pass the next part.

And that's the second half of the first test finished! Everyone in 1-A passed, including Sora, who had to fight off Kid Icarus and Skyward Sword in order to earn his spot. Now to get this through everyone's head. Yes, are characters that are references to Link and Pit from Legend of Zelda and Kid Icarus. Key word being REFERENCES. They are not the actual characters. As a homage to Sora being in Smash bros, and taking Inspiration from A New Pencil's bonus bits at the end of some of his chapters, I put a Sora in Smash reference in my story. Hope you liked the fight though, and while I didn't use Smash Bros Music for the fight, I just couldn't picture the intensefight with the Smash Bros remixes of any Zelda or Kid Icarus songs, so I opted for Brandon Yates music, because it worked really well. Next up is the rescue part of the exam, and that one will be neat to write. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, and until I decide to upload again. ;)
