Jack was staring into the fish tanks as the bags with the new fish float on the top to acclimate to the temperatures of the tank they were going to be put I to. He was watching the other fish swim around as Azura got a bucket and net ready, and was preparing some chemicals to add into the water to treat any potential injury and disease the fish might have. It might not be necessary, but Azura knew better than to trust the aquarium due to the large amount of fish they have to care for, and that they had to deal with new fish regularly. Jack himself was happy watching the other fish she had in the tanks while the tetras, bumblebee catfish and gobies float on the top.

He looked at the fourth tank and looked at Azura curiously. "Are we going to set the fourth tank up right now? I hope you have what you need, though I am sure things like gravel and ornaments are something you would want to put into the tank last, I imagine."

Azura put the chemical bottles down and looked at Jack with a nod. "That is why I dragged you into the nursery. Plus, we don't really spend a lot of time with just us either. Usually we do something with Miko and Raf."

"I guess that is true. The last thing we were going to do was go see a movie sometime ago." He looked at the tank again before moving away to walk over to Azura aa she began to fill a bucket with water. "Now that they're not here, have you noticed how much taller you are than me?" Azura looked at him in surprise. "Not by much. Come stand beside me. You might be able to see." The girl walked over curiously and stood by Jack. "See?"

"I have been told that I have gotten bigger, but I didn't notice." Azura smiled a little and sighed. "Just another reminder that I am not human."

"It isn't a bad thing though, Azura. You get to be able to enjoy being a sparkling. I am surprised that you haven't embraced it. I know you love that Stitch that Wheeljack gave you, but I have not ever seen you play with a toy." She rolled her optics and she turned to the sink to keep an eye on the bucket. "Have you felt the desire to? I am not going to bully you or anything. I guess…"

"Jack, maybe if my…life was always with the autobots, things could be different. But I am seventeen, and as far as I knew until three years ago, I was reaching a time where I would mature. I still like having the plushies and the toy that Wheeljack made is amazing. But I don't desire to play doll like you might think. The most things I would do is play games, paint and demand to be held or fed, but…I am mature mostly. I would like to think that. Besides…" Azura intakes heavily and rests her arm on the counter. "They have enough to worry about, Jack. I don't need to be thrown in that mixture."

"I get that, but I don't think being a child would cause trouble. I can tell you enjoy the care they give you, and you are thriving on it. And you are also eating a lot more, and they seem to think you are in a growth spurt. So…considering your childhood wasn't so good for the first fourteen years of your life, if I was in your shoes, I would totally embrace the opportunity because you are going to outlive me." Jack looked at the bucket as Azura added some chemicals to establish a bio system for the new tank, and to detoxify any metals and ammonia, nitrate and nitrite that might be present in the water. "I am sixteen myself, and when my father left, I was kind of forced to grow up. I know you had to as well, given you situation back then. But you do have a choice."

"I might have a choice, Jack. But…I just don't have that interest. I never did when I was younger. I was more interesting in building and making things. I still do. Which is why I paint, and why I want to have some clay. Of course, I still have fun, but I am not interested." She turned off the water and lifts the bucket from the sink. "I get what you are trying to say, I really do. But…I like the way I am right now, Jack. It's taken a bit of time, but I've accepted it and I like it. I think that is more important than playing with a doll house."

"I suppose that is true. I guess I had thought you would eventually do that, but you are also right." He followed Azura to the fourth tank, looking at the bucket curiously. "I still don't fully understand why you need to add stuff to the water for fish. Is there a reason why you need to?"

"Yes, because the water that supplies the base is firstly full of metals that the fish cannot tolerate. And if there is any ammonia present, that needs to be detoxified as I don't need the cycle to cause a quick death to new fish. And I also one chemical establishes a bio system for new fish." Azura lifts the bucket and began to pour the water carefully into the tank. "I repeat the process when I do gravel cleans and water changes. It's just care that is needed for fish. I'll have to check the PH level as well, but I'll let the filter run for a few days to cycle the water before I add fish to the water."

"I see…" The tank would need a few bucket loads before it would be full enough. "I guess I would get told the same by the guys at the aquarium about asking how to set up a tank." Azura nodded affirmatively and walked back to the sink with the bucket to fill it with water again. "Can I add chemicals to the water?"

"Next bucket yes, I don't mix the chemicals in every bucket as the dose might be too high. I know I'll be waiting a week or two before I even think about adding new fish, but I don't want to add too much to the water." She placed the bucket into the sink and began to fill it again. Jack seemed to understand as that seemed to make sense. "I am sure you realize now that fish are kind of complicated when you realize how much work goes into caring for them."

Jack nodded. "I sure have. But I know that it is worth it. After all, you now have something to care for. So I understand why you do it." He looked back at the tanks before he looked at Saphira. "How has your training been going by the way? I know Optimus has taken you to a lot of training sessions, so I am curious how you think you've been doing."

"It has been slow, surprisingly…I can definitely control water and influence rain easily. I can freeze, melt and cause evaporation. But fire, earth, wind and electricity…that isn't very easy." Azura sighed a little as she thought about it. "But daddy has been so good about it. He gives me the encouragement that I need to keep focusing. I think I will control wind before fire, earth and electricity, though I still worry that I might lose control at some point."

"Hopefully you are given breaks. I would imagine that using your abilities is pretty exhausting." She nodded and Jack was happy to hear that. "You should try to maybe meditate more. It might help you connect to that part of you better and make it easier for you to use your abilities."

"I want to, but I guess I just want to keep spending time with the autobots and you that I don't have time to mediate. I don't like being on my own, so…" Azura sighed deeply as she pondered on the idea. "I had originally wanted to go to the top of the base to meditate. But now that I no longer look like a human, I have not done that. Being outside in the fresh air is much better for meditation. I know I don't need oxygen…but I still enjoy the fresh air."

"I get it. You would be surrounded by nature, which is what your abilities are connected to." Jack looked at the sink and turned off the water when he notice the bucket was almost too full. "Almost ended up with a lot of water everywhere."

Azura chuckled as she grabbed the bucket and lifts it up. "I didn't realize that it was nearly full. But we were having a good conversation." She giggled again as she carried the bucket to the tank to add the water to it. She watched the tank fill up and the water had reached just over halfway now. "I am curious. Since you come here a lot, how have you been able to talk yourself out of trouble with your mother? I know she worries about you a lot, and I bet it was a shock to her when there was a new motorbike in your garage."

"Well…" Jack rubbed the back of his head with an embarrassed expression as Azura walked back to the sink to refill the bucket and she gestured for him to come over to add the chemicals. "Truthfully, I am just glad that my mother works a lot of nights…so I really don't tell her what I am really doing. I usually tell her that I am working, and she seems to believe me."

"I find it hard to believe that you have completely fooled your mother, Jack. She is a smart woman." She held out the chemical bottles with a smile. "Just pour half a cap full of each of the chemicals into the water. The water will mix it around while it fills the bucket." Jack nodded as he took the bottles to pour the amount in as she told him. "I know Miko told me that her host parents don't seem to really care about where she goes, but I doubt that considering they took her in for her biological parents."

"I don't really know much about her life with them, so I can't say. I know Raf, with a big family, has it a bit easier in a way since his parents don't seem to say anything while his school grades are high." Jack poured the chemicals into the water and closed the bottles once done. "And you are right about my mother. She is a very smart woman. I do think someday she could find out, but I really am not entirely sure either."

"I bet she's asked about me. June was always so kind to me when we would study together. I really liked her." The boy didn't respond, and he simply shrugged at her, and she chuckled at him. "Regardless, I definitely think your mother will find out eventually. She's not the type that you can keep things hidden from for a long time."

"Nor is Optimus."

"That is also true, though there isn't really anything I would want to keep hidden from him. I am now comfortable going to him if I need to talk to someone. Or Ratchet." Azura had a smile on her face as she thought about them. "After we deal with the fish, we should play some Five Minute Letter Scramble. I have found it to be super helpful."

"Or maybe we should write out the whole English alphabet and see if we remember what Cybertronian letter matches up," Jack suggests with a grin. "Kind of like a fun review."

"Oh, yeah, we could do that." Azura liked that idea. "I have been practising writing the Cybertronian letters, and I can now write your name in Cybertronian. But a fun little review like that sounds like a great idea." She hummed softly for a moment. "But we should keep like and fun. I don't want it to feel like a school assignment."

"Honestly, learning about Cybertronian has been a lot more fun than Math," Jack joked with a light chuckle, making Azura laugh lightly as she could tell he was serious. "I know I may not necessarily have needed to learn it, but being able to read their language could help us in the long run."

"I agree." Azura turned the tap off and lifts the bucket to finish filling the tank. "I am kind of curious about what it will be like for me to learn about the Math they use on Cybertron. I feel like that what they teach at school here on Earth would be considered kindergarten knowledge. And everything else that they teach is much higher."

"Which at least means you have already skipped a few grades. You were doing physics before you left school, so you were also learning that, but I imagine it is also considered kindergarten." Jack watched Azura pour the last of the water into the tank. He could already picture the angel fish swimming around in this tank. "I guess now this leaves the new fish."

Azura nodded as she walked over to the other tanks and set the bucket down and grabbed the net to place on the bucket, balancing it so the rim of the net would sit on the side of the bucket. Jack looked at it curiously and she smiled at him. "I can tell this confusing you." She grabbed the bag with the bumblebee gobies and catfish and opened the bag. "The water the fish are in is from the aquarium, which will be different to the water I have in my tanks. And while the fish have sat in the bag, ammonia could be present in the water. It comes from the break down of organic matter, after all. Which comes from fish droppings, fish food and so on. So I pour the water into the bucket and the net should catch the fish."

"I see…" Jack watched as she carefully poured the water into the bucket, aiming the water at the net so it would run through the small holes in the net. The fish tried to swim against the sudden change and current, but they all fell into the net. Azura placed the bag down and lifts the net, keeping her hand underneath. "Such a delicate process in dealing with fish…I feel bad that fish have to deal with being transported like this."

"It is an unfortunate thing for fish. I agree, it is pretty sad. But there really isn't any other way we can move fish from one tank to another. If fish didn't suffer outside the water as much as they did, it wouldn't be as bad." Azura lowered the net into the first tank and turn it around slowly to let the fish to swim out. And they all were quick to swim out, and the bumblebee catfish swam out and found somewhere to hide. "Now it is just the matter of keeping an eye on them." She lifts the net out of the tank and looked at Jack with a smile. "Would you like to do the tetras? Give yourself a bit of practise."

Jack nodded and took the net to place it on top of the bucket like how Azura had done before. He grabbed the back with the blue emperor kerri tetras and opened the bag. He was a little nervous, but he carefully poured the water from the bag into the bucket, aiming the water into the net. He watched each fish fall into the net, and he was relieved as he picked up the net carefully and moved the fish into the tank. He lowered them in the water and turned the net to let them go. He smiled as they all swam out of the net.

"I can see it is also a nervous process moving the fish from the bag to a new tank." He watched as the tetras and gobies swim around and seemed to remain at the bottom. "They seem to be…I thought tetras and gobies would prefer to be at the top."

"It's just stress. The fish will need a bit of time. It is a shock to their body to go from a tank, to a bag, then from bag to a new tank with new water. It is perfectly normal. None of them seem to be ill, but…" Azura turned the filter off for the tank and took it out carefully. "I need to remove the carbon cartridge from this before I add in an all healer, just as a precaution. The catfish, gobies and tetras at least don't have white spot, but the stuff I have covers that too."

Jack listened to her curiously while he watched her open the filter, remove the cartridge and closed it back up before placing it back into the tank and turning it back on. It really showed him how complicated owning fish can be. Even if it is just a small tank. It seemed like that while he is inspired to own fish of his own, the amount of stuff required to do for the animals has opened his eyes a lot. But he would still consider owning one as he would enjoy having some fish.

"How long do you leave that out of the filter for before putting it back in?" Jack asked curiously as he watched her put the cartridge into the bucket and walked over to the empty tank to get a new filter out. "What does that part do?"

"I usually leave the carbon cartridge out for at least a few hours so that the medication can treat the fish properly. The activated carbon in it will make the chemicals ineffective." Azura placed the new filter into the empty tank and turned it on. "That's pretty much it." She looked at the empty tank curiously and looked at Jack. "You know, I think this should be themed. I haven't themed my other tanks, but…"

"I guess. Maybe…" He looked at the other three tanks. There was fake rocks, castles and plants of various colors and types. The rocks though were all different. One tank had white rocks, the second had blue and red, and the third had teal and white rocks. "What about…theme it after Cliffjumper?" She looked at him in surprise at the suggestion. "I don't know what he was like, but I think you could do that."

Azura looked back at the tank as she began to think about it. She stared at the tank before her optics fill with tears as she thought about it. "Well…it might be hard…I would need a red…muscle car ornament…and I am not sure if one exists. And…I would probably change the type of fish for that tank. Probably red rainbows, ember tetras and serpae tetras…super red bristlenose…I am not sure, but…that's what I would do." She sniffled a little and looked at Jack. "But that is a good idea. I…I haven't really thought…I actually plan…if you can get me some clay, I wanted to make a sculpture of him."

"Aw, that is sweet." Jack placed a hand on her shoulder with a smile. "I can see he meant a lot to you. At least he will be smiling brightly from the All Spark." She nodded in agreement, and she wiped away the tears from her eyes. "I also forgot…" He reached under his shirt and Azura heard the sound of a packet crinkle, which made her look at him curiously and he pulled out a packet of chocolate. "I know you don't need food, but I figured you would appreciate it."

Azura squealed happily and hugged Jack suddenly. "Thank you! I am happy about that!" He let out a grunt and she realized she hugged him too hard. "Oh! I'm sorry! I hadn't realized that I was hugging so hard. I am still getting to know my own strength."

"I think you might almost always do that, Azura. But you are welcome." Jack opened the packet and hands her some of the pieces of chocolate. Azura was quite to take them and put the pieces in her mouth, but she wasn't chewing. She was letting the chocolate melt. "You haven't had any human food for a while, have you?" She shook her head. "I know you can still have it…though I will have to ask Optimus and Ratchet to make sure that it is okay to bring things like ice cream to you. The cold room and freezer are still working, from what I understand."

"You indeed should be asking us before providing my daughter with human food." Jack and Azura jump as they hear Optimus's voice. They turn as Optimus walked towards them with a smile. Azura chewed the chocolate she had in her mouth currently and swallowed. "Though it would seem it is a bit late with the few pieces she has eaten." Jack looked at Azura and looked back at Optimus with a guilty expression. "Do not fear, Jack. I am not angry. I am a little amused."

"Oh…okay…" Jack was extremely relieved to hear that as he was worried Optimus would be mad at him. "Um…I am sorry for not checking first…but…I wanted to give her something as a treat…"

"I fully understand, Jack." Optimus dropped down on one knee and gazed at the tanks, smiling as he watched the new fish in the water. "It seems like your new tank additions will do well, Azura." He looked at Jack with a smile. "Thank you for bringing them to her. I am sure it might be a little odd going to get something you don't normally have yourself, but you have been a good friend to my daughter."

"And I will always be her friend." Jack looked at the packet in his hand and looked at Optimus. "I guess she can have more later." He nodded and he looked at Azura who was frowning unhappily. "Don't worry, Azura. You can have more tonight, if Optimus lets you."

She did respond to Jack as she looked at the tanks and back at Optimus. "What do you think about me setting up the last tank as like…themed after Cliffjumper? Jack suggested it, but…it might be a bit hard to do, but I am not sure. I want it to be an angel tank, but…"

"It is up to you, Azura. These tanks are yours, and you can decorate them however you wish." Azura sighed a little and nodded as she understood. Optimus gently picked her up from the ground and pulled her closer to him. "There are other ways to remember him by, Azura. It does not have to be the fish tank. It can be other things."

"I know." She smiled at him and reached out her arms to hug him as she appreciated the comment. "I hope you weren't worried about me and Jack. Were you a little too curious to see the fish in their new home?"

"I was." Optimus hummed with a smile as he gazed back at the tanks. "You have done a marvellous job. You can always get more tanks too, if you would like." She shook her head quickly as four was more than enough. He kissed her cheek gently. "I actually came in because I was not sure if you had finished with feeding."

"Well, I don't feel hungry, so I am fine, daddy. But thanks for checking. I will come to you if I am hungry." She did know she could fit more low-grade into her tank, but she didn't want to make herself eat too much all the time. It wasn't really that necessary. "Jack and I were thinking of testing ourselves on how well we remember each Cybertronian letter. We are going to write up the English alphabet, and then write the Cybertonrain lets to match up with the English letters, and then check to see if we got it right."

"That does not sound like a bad idea. You should include Miko and Raf as well, they have learned Cybertronian a lot as well." Optimus held his and to Jack, and the boy stepped in with a smile. "If you would like, Ratchet can oversee the revision, and be there to tell you if it is incorrect."

"Why can't you do it?" Azura asked curiously. Optimus smiled as she asked him that. "I would enjoy having you be there to do it, daddy. I like including you in the things we do. Ratchet can be there, but…"

"I understand." Optimus stood up and turned to walk out of the room. He kept his palm flat for Jack while Azura was happily cradled against his shoulder in the other. "If that is what you would prefer, Azura, I will be there to oversee it. I do enjoy spending a lot of time with you as well, Azura. I will not let you down."

Azura was extremely happy. She knew that she and Jack were going to be the ones to do that, but she did know it would be fair to let Miko and Raf join in on the review as well. It would be another good, fun way to learn. Azura doubted Miko would do it, based on her attitude towards schoolwork in general, but she could join in anyway. If not, she would likely watch. Then they can keep playing Five Minute Letter Scramble to keep practising.

When he walked into the lobby, Azura giggled as she saw that Miko and Raf seemed to be playing Charades, and Miko was acting out a work while Raf, Bulkhead, Arcee and Bumblebee were trying to guess it. Ratchet was ignoring them as normal, but he looked at Optimus when he entered the lobby, and smiled as he saw Azura cradled against Optimus and Jack held gently in the other hand. Ratchet raised an eyebrow when he noticed Jack had a packet of chocolate in his hand.

He could not help but smile. "I suspect Jack was sneaking treats to Azura when we were not looking."

"He was, but she only had a few pieces of chocolate. It is no harm, Ratchet. Jack simply wanted to give her something she has not had in sometime." Ratchet was amused, though he wouldn't want Azura to eat a heap of human food. Especially ones with sugar in it. But Optimus seemed to have it under control. "I have told Jack he can bring ice cream and chocolate when we give permission. But that is not why I went to find them."

"I guess you were wanting to check on the new fish. I personally don't see why they're so fascinating, but at least they are in one place and are not causing a heap of noise and mess." Ratchet looked over at the other bots and children before rolling his optics. "They're playing Charades…whatever that is…"

"Charades is a fun game," Azura said with a smile. "It is a guessing game. You pick a word, and then you have to act out that word. Say…" She thought on the game for a moment before she began making monkey gestures with her arms. "It goes something like this, and you have to guess the word."

"Monkey." Optimus and Ratchet look at Jack in surprise, and Azura started laughing. "What? That's the word she's acting out. It's monkey."

"Right…" Ratchet still seemed unsure about the game before he snorted. "You will never see me play such a ridiculous game."

Optimus smiled and gently moved Jack and Azura to the platform in front of him. "They aren't going to be playing such a game, Ratchet. In fact, they were planning to…"

"PRIME?!" All eyes and optics turned towards the console as soon as they heard that voice yell through the com link. Ratchet quickly walked over to it and typed on it to open the link, and Fowler's face appeared on screen. "Prime!"

Optimus was perplexed by Fowler's sudden appearance, but there must be a good reason for it. "Special Agent Fowler, to what do we owe…"

Optimus did not even get to finish his sentence as Fowler interrupts him. "What else? Cons!" Azura was surprised and glanced at Jack and Miko as they walked over to her and Jack before looking back at the screen. "I chased them off with some hard ordnance, but not before they blew me out of the sky."

Miko snickered in amusement. Azura couldn't help but wonder why she was laughing. "Again?!" When Miko said that, that made Azura immediately realize she was talking about when the cons had caught Fowler the first time. That wasn't a nice memory, since Azura had been left alone in the base at the time.

"They tried to smash and grab for the Dingus."

"Dingus?" Azura repeated in confusion.

"The…what it?" Arcee frowned as the name meant nothing to any of them.

"Dynamic Nuclear Generation System, AKA Dingus." That was definitely a strange name choice for the item, but Azura was more interested in why the cons might be wanting it in the first place. Fowler pressed a button to change the view of the camera to a view of some kind of square item that was held down with straps. "It's a prototype energy source I'm porting to the coast for testing."

Ratchet rolled his optics with a light scoff. "That's absurd! Why would Starscream bother with such primitive technology?" Azura frowned and folded her arms, making him look at her. He saw she seemed annoyed at his description. "Am I wrong calling it primitive?"

Azura did not get a chance to answer Ratchet as Fowler responded to his first question. "I'm guessing to make a big, fat, primitive weapon of mass destruction!" The man didn't seem too phased by Ratchet calling the technology primitive, but Azura was amused as his response. "If this baby were to melt down, it would irradiate this state and the four next door."

Azura widened her optics in shock as that did not sound good. "Uhh…did Agent Fowler say what state he was currently in?" Rafael asked in a nervous tone, seemingly aware that this weapon was a potential danger to everyone.

"I'm a sitting duck here, Prime. I need you to spin up your bridge, and send the Dingus to its destination before the cons come back for it." Fowler sounded desperate too, and Azura didn't blame him.

She looked up at Optimus to hear what his response would be. Optimus had listened carefully, and he seemed concerned by the type of device he was hearing from Agent Fowler. "I'm afraid that sending such a volatile device through the ground bridge is out of the question. If there were to be an accident during its transmission, the radiation of which you speak, could propagate through the ground bridge vortex, and harm all fifty states, and beyond."

Okay…that does not sound good at all.

Even Fowler seemed to realize that, though he gave Optimus a questioning expression. "You got any better ideas?"
