The secret of the observatory

Arkan-tar was confused, which he didn't do often, and he definitely didn't like the feeling. This Bina... she made him feel, for the first time in many years, that he didn't know what was going on. He was glad that Miss Daisy and Rechiza had managed to get a ship to take them to their destination… The crew, though young in age, seemed quite competent. Their captain was competent and able to control such an unruly pack.

But why did she look like Lady Ka? He might not have had the best opinion of the Lord Admiral's 'Left Better Hand', but who was he to judge her, everyone was entitled to their weaknesses, though he would have preferred her not to be his superior. When you work for someone as powerful as the Lord Admiral, even the slightest mistake could lead to the death of countless subordinates and innocents. This implied some problems, but there was absolutely nothing he could do about them.

But he had to make a decision about the captain of their new ship. At first glance, she seemed both older and younger than the Lord Admiral's Left Hand. He saw traces of life's hardships, stress and fatigue on her face. But her pupils weren't dilated, and she wasn't laughing withou reason. He didn't know much about Lady Ka, or rather, he didn't know anything about her, which was starting to worry him at the moment. His ancient superior hadn't given him much information about the Lord Admiral's entourage, but from what he'd heard about the commander-in-chief of their expedition, he might have expected the worst. "Does Lady. Ka have a sister whom she commissioned to perform a task similar to ours. Maybe even their meeting with Rechiza and Miss Daisy wasn't so accidental after all, he wondered. The flaw in this reasoning was that the two members of their expedition, he and Lady Cala, knew her face, or rather half of it. Of course, he could be disposed of without much consequence, but Lady Cala had valuable maps, and besides, she had high-ranking friends on Carurystal ... Unless the woman's goal was to eliminate the entire expedition, which was an even more unpleasant thought ... then why she would surround herself with such young and strange individuals. This, of course, could also be a trick to lull their vigilance, but then her charges should arouse trust? This quirky Pahtra was quite erratic, as was her elven pal who was threatening Miss Daisy. It was pointless to surround yourself with such individuals. So who was she, what did this strange encounter mean? He would need to talk to his companions as soon as possible. Rechiza spoke softly to Dilayla, listening thoughtfully to the mercenary's argument about the drows. He knew the half-elf's preferences, so he wondered if Rechiza shared them. If so, well, the odds that he'd be stuck with his own company throughout the journey were increasing. Well, maybe he should have befriended that half-drow?

- All right, we're there! We get off and plan! - Bina exclaimed. Their group, which in its equipment and appearance resembled a small company of mercenaries rather than a team of researchers, went outside. Bina ordered them to line up and began to speak.

- Listen, we want to break into this cursed building. Dusk is slowly approaching, although as far as I know most of us can see at night, and for the rest, including me, we have night vision goggles and flashlights. So you won't get lost. Enough from me, itel, now you! -she asked the elven Solarian. - It's your idea, so you should explain to the others why we're here and tell them your plan.

The green-haired girl looked at the others, surprised and confused at the same time, clearly unprepared for this development. Arkan-tar stepped forward and bowed to the others very politely.

- Regarding the history and purpose of this building, I can help a bit. - he said, and saw that Rechiza and Miss Daisy gave him a distrustful look. The others looked at him with a bit of curiosity mixed with amazement. Only the elf seemed to be pleased, because he gave her some time to work out a plan.

- So, as you can guess, we are all gathered here on this planet to discover the mysteries of the so-called Ravaged Zone. However, we are not the first to be fascinated by that place. Over a dozen years, thanks to the support of various private investors and churches of Yaraesa and Desna, a huge Drift Observatory was built here to explore this mysterious area. For several years, research was carried out here and a lot of valuable data was collected. Unfortunately, for reasons that are difficult for us to understand, the center has lost its most important scientist. Shortly after, the resort closed, some say at an express pace. The locals did not know what had happened, but they left it alone, they even say that it is haunted. In my archaeological experience, it's usually wise to take this type of gossip seriously. We know that there may be maps and also astrographic data of large areas of the Zone, but we also have to reckon with many potential dangers…. - he finished his lecture, and noticed with satisfaction that, apart from the red-haired girl with orc tattoos, no one fell asleep. Even the strange white-skinned alien and jeo droid seemed to listen to his reasoning.

- And is the identity of this scientist and his fate known? - Miss Daisy asked unexpectedly. He looked at her surprised. He adjusted his glasses and thought quickly about how much truth he should tell the others.

- It was Doctor Sidonius, the famous xenobiologist, historian and physicist. An individual of many talents. - he said and suppressed a smile at the reaction of his companions. Rechiza looked away, hoping no one would notice her confusion, but the behavior of the crew of their nearly-future ship really surprised him. "Did he send them here? It raised more questions than answers." He thought.

- Indeed, a man of many talents. He must be a true genius or an ancient sage to have acquired so many skills. - Miss Daisy smiled bloodthirstly and innocently at the same time. This g9 woman was a bit disturbing before he saw her real face.

- Why not both at once? He is a man of extraordinary intellect, and as a vampire he has spent centuries gaining knowledge. - He bowed, smiling and went back to the line.

She wasn't too surprised by this, the bloody old vampire was researching the Prime's Empire. Nothing could surprise her that day. Prior to her awakening, she didn't believe in the existence of vampires and ghosts, though she liked to tell Adora and Catra and the other cadets scary stories about ghoul princesses and blood-sucking princesses. Generaly about undead princesses. Most of them were legends she had learned in Mystacor or even at home, which she had later reworked for the use of the Horde. It wasn't until they stopped in Eox's orbit that she learned that the dead could walk among the living, and she accepted that truth. She herself was monster not much better than a ghoul, or even worse. After all, most of her nefarious deeds were the result of her conscious choices, not of a supernatural nature. "I wonder what a leech like that would think if it met a parasite like me? Do the undead scare each other with Power Devourers?"

This green-haired Elf Itel stood in front of them and began to outline her plans.

- Well, Eti will go to scout and ... - she wanted to say, but the girl with the metal hand interrupted her.

- We're taking Sparcle Fingers with us. - She said crossing her arms first.

Itel glared at Eti, and Rosie took a step back.

- She is deaf and not from us! - the elf screamed, and Rosie took a step back. Bina and Rechiza gave Itel a stern look, but she ignored it.

- But can hear perfectly well, even when you whisper between each other ... - said the feline in a calm voice. Rechiza and Dilayla exchanged surprised glances, and Wrongdak nodded to her. The behavior of her companions was puzzling.

- But she doesn't even know if she's making noise...- Itel was speaking in a slightly calmer, though still annoyed tone, but Rosie cut her off

- No, I can feel when I make noise because I can feel the vibrations and I can connect my glasses to your communicators so I will know what you are talking to me and I can switch the gloves to whisper. – explained to the solarian.

- You see, now that all your fanciful and absolutely irrational problems have been easily solved, we can start planning now. - Eti said, and Dragonkin and Bina gave her a surprised look. The elf clenched her fist furiously and obviously wanted to continue the argument, but then decided it was time to intervene, because this discussion could go on forever. Besides, she liked Rosie, unlike Itel, so she decided to side with the deaf girl.

- Given the size of our company, it's best to split up into four groups of three. - Eti, Itel and Rosie are the most skillful. Eti has good hearing and smell, Rosie, like many deaf people, has keen eyesight. And itel has innate leadership skills so it will be good to lead the three of you. – She did not fail to tickle the green-haired girl's ego. Rosie looked at her gratefully, and Itel frowned suspiciously. – Mister Wrongdak looks like a strong and capable fighter, so does Lilka, so they can accompany Dilaylia as a strike force. - When she mentioned the clone, Eti looked at her like she was an idiot. - Alatar and Arkan-tar are gifted in matters of technology, so together with Captain Bina they will be technical support And I, Rechiza and Ireanis as powerful magic users will support everyone with their power. And Emily will watch over our transport during this time. - she said and watched with satisfaction as everyone looked at her silently. She looked at the elf and smiled slightly. "That's How It's done darling"

Itel tried to control her rage. She had to have a clear mind, because the success of her mission depended on it. And in addition to the usual problems with taming Eti's unpredictable behavior, she also had to look after a stupid deaf girl. Not that she didn't like Rosie. This girl just annoyed her, and the fact that she was trying to be nice to everyone made it even worse. She didn't know if she was so dumb she didn't understand it or if she was up to something. Just in case, she didn't trust her any more than the rest of the guys Bina picked up. And Eti liked her. This Eti who lashed out at others for trying to touch her, or for saying she had cat ears, as everyone had seen recently. And that bloody grim elf who was staring at her friend as if she was seeing a cat girl for the first time. Of course, she must have seen the chimera of a pahtra and a human for the first time, but that didn't excuse her. pervert hag! And then she pretty much single-handedly took the leadership from her and put everyone in the corner. As if she'd ever seen a war up close, rather than babysitting some pampered damsel. And Bina, of course, said nothing, as always. "Didn't she understand the importance of their mission? That this is not a mere teenage whim, or even an ordinary treasure hunt. The fate of trillions of beings, perhaps even the entire galaxy, depended on the success of this enterprise. So few know what it takes to defeat the Swarm… She thought and groaned in frustration. Eti and Rosie looked at her in surprise. She forgot that the deaf girl "hears" her through the communicator.

- Something happened? - Rosie asked, looking at her with concern.

- Nothing, turn your headphones down. - She said trying not to show how angry she was.

They reached the fence. It was tall and thick, and there was barbed wire on top. Ordinary robbers would have to work hard to get to the other side. She and Eti were well equipped to overcome such an obstacle, and she saw the jump that the white-haired girl made today. "I wonder if she'll make it this time, too."

Eti turned on the cloaking field, doing the famous disappearing trick, and took off. Rosie started running too, her legs flashing and she took a leap. To her surprise, the white-haired girl found herself on the wall and turned to shake Eti's hand, but the shooter simply climbed on the flat surface thanks to her falcon boots. Then the wire began to wrap around Rosie's legs and Eti's arm. She cursed softly under her breath in Elvish and activated her jet boots while summoning the moonblade. She flew over to the girls, being careful not to burn them, and cut the living wire with quick cuts, because that was the name of what was trying to capture them. Soon all three were on the other side.

- Are you all right? - she asked. Rosie shook her head, but Eti growled as she looked up. She lost the glove that protected her left hand. Even in the shadow of the setting sun, her maimed fingers were visible. The deaf-mute girl covered her mouth at the sight, looking at Eti in astonishment.

- It's off to a good start. - Eti grunted.

He had trouble concentrating on the task at hand. He wasn't sure what it was exactly, just like his new friend Lilka. So he left the decision-making to his next new friend Dilayli, who seemed to know what they were doing, whatever it was. In general, he had made a surprising number of friends during the day, which made him extremely happy. From the time he came to this planet he had only Emily, now he was surrounded by extremely interesting people ... And one of them was her. For a brief moment he was sure it was Catra. He was terrified that something terrible must have happened to her here. She didn't recognize him, and worse, she had lost her arm in some terrible way. For a moment, he was terrified that she'd been chipped again, which was scary in itself, but it would also mean that he... that Horde Prime had returned. He couldn't put into words how scary that would be... but it wasn't Catra... He had trouble distinguishing faces, it wasn't a skill He expected his brothers to have... Over the years he had learned to recognize Skittermanders because they were his friends, and the Vesks, whose honor might be offended by a mistake, but he still had problems with other races. But he was sure they were very similar, as Emily confirmed, and she had no trouble recognizing the others. It meant… he wasn't exactly sure what it meant, but it was something amazing.

The area is clear, - Itel's voice came over the communicator. They were standing in front of a heavy gate leading into the interior of this observatory. It felt so strange to be standing in front of a structure built just to explore his empire. If he ever found out about it, he would probably come here to destroy everything just for idle curiosity.

- Do you see an electronic lock or something? - the woman in power armor asked.

- I see, but for now there is no power, so than it will not give us. - Itel said in a matter-of-fact tone. – are you waiting for Alatar and the others? she asked, but Lilka shook her head and started to take a laser cutter out of her backpack, so Dilayla replied - No, we'll manage faster on our own.

- Okay, just be careful, they've put a living wire here, there may be more traps! - she called. Dilayla looked at the two of them and motioned for them to come over.

- It'll only take a minute. – said Lilka and put on a protective mask. He felt a surge of longing for Entrapta at the sight. As much as he liked his friends from Vesk III, he was eager to return home, especially since he had such wonderful news for all of them. Entrapta was right, and so was his brother. Prime didn't conquer the entire galaxy, his empire was just a small part of the universe that hadn't actually heard of him. The Galaxy was sure of things, wonderful and terrible, and above all, extraordinary. Though he stayed mostly in one skittermander's town on Vesk III, he had heard many tales of all sorts of wonders in the universe. He couldn't wait to be able to "Transfer all collected data on the universe" to Entrapta and his brother. And now this girl...

- Are there many of you? - Dilayla's question snapped him out of his thoughts. He blinked a few times before answering.

- I have no idea… - he said truthfully - There were several thousand of us in the place that became my home… But I don't know how many of us there were in the whole empire or what happened to them. He felt a sudden pang of sadness. Unlike the Elder Brother, his bond with the clones had been strong, at least when he left Etheria, but he had thought little of them in the last few years, other things on his mind. Now he was starting to worry.

- Is this one of your coins? - she asked, tossing him a coin, which he caught on the fly. On one side was the symbol of the Horde, albeit gold on red background, and on the other was the words "United We Shall Cast Out Shadows." He felt blood rushing to all parts of his body.

- He... Horde Prime didn't use coins. He didn't need them. He just took what he wanted. - he said. He had no idea where Dilayla had gotten that coin, but the mere prospect that something of Horde Prime had survived…that some of his brothers might still be enslaved… The power-armored warrior looked at him in perplexity.

- I didn't expect it to have such an effect on you. At first I wasn't sure where I knew the symbol from, but then I remembered. This coin was owned by Shirkas, a certain Shiren miner who wandered deep into this whole Ravaged Zone. He found some ore there and met two beings. One of them was a drow priestess… Do you know who a drow is? - she asked a bit thoughtfully.

- Black Elf…? - he asked surprised.

- No... There are black elves, see Ireanis, and Itel are also dark-skinned... Drows are something else... Very nasty usually, though not always of course. I've worked for them twice and it wasn't a pleasant job...but to the point. This woman paid him for his work with these coins, though they appear to be fake and of little value. He had met some monster before... He looked like a woman with a purple octopus attached to her head... Her tentacles were growing like hair from her head...

For a moment he did not know what the woman was talking about, he had already learned that the universe was full of terrible and terrifying beings. Sam fought Skitterwander, for which he even got a medal. It took him a moment to realize who the woman was talking about.

- NO! She is no monster! She is a wonderful and very smart woman! She gave me the name. She freed… - he spoke agitatedly, but Dilayla placed an armored hand on his shoulder.

- You were there! Where we're going. - she said, and now he realized he had said a few words too much. "My brother told me to be silent! I promised not to tell anyone. So far he's been successful…' Dilayla looked around, but Lilka was finishing burning through the gate, and the rest were deep in conversation. She put her hand on his shoulder and looked him in the eyes

- Did the people of this place… Did your friends defeat Horde Prime?- The one who took everything I had? she asked, and he, still shaken, just nodded.

- Okay... I promise I won't tell anyone, but beware. None of my comrades are who they say they are. And we're hiding a secret... Trust none of us, especially the beautiful Lady Cala. - she said seriously and smiled. - If you can be friends with someone who tried to kill you on the same day, then let me call you your friend.

He answered her with the friendliest smile he could muster.

- My friends have tried to kill each other many times and now they are together.

The blue-haired woman laughed loudly and sincerely.

- Don't count on it, I prefer girls. But it's nice to have at least one friendly face on this trip.

- I didn't expect anything, and I'm glad you consider me a friend.

- Mr. Wrongdak, Mrs. Dilayla, please help me push. - Lika called. They both went to help her.\

She was standing next to the other two sorceresses when she saw from a distance that Wrongak and the mercenary were smiling at each other.

- And what happened? - Rechiza said, frowning. „I wonder how much she's seen with those metal eyes of hers."

- Oh, don't you understand? Can't you feel love in the air? - Ireanis called. The lashunti looked at the silver-haired sorceress as if she were an idiot, but the other woman didn't seem to notice. Although it's very possible that most people looked at Ireanis that way on a daily basis, so it probably seemed normal.

"How such a person ended up in such a place and is now taking part in an expedition on whose success so much depends, I have no idea." she thought. The elf was actually not a stupid woman. she had learned to recognize such people after making so many mistakes.. She definitely considers herself a sorceress, and a very talented one. But she had serious doubts about it…

- For many years, one of my many tasks was… supervising students in a military school, and I had to learn how to distinguish between friendship and infatuation. – "And how to ruin both if necessary"

- Military school? I thought you only taught young ladies. You are a person of many talents as i see. - Laszunti said smiling.

- Some people will do absolutely anything to survive. - she said in a gloomy tone.

The witchwarper gave her a sideways look but said nothing because Ireanis interjected.

- Yes, I remember once distributing elxirs for hair growth after I lost my job at the university.

„Why am I not surprised" she thought with bitter satisfaction, but asked politely.

-I take it that this potion worked perfectly, guaranteeing a full head of hair?

- Well, it worked, but it usually made you bald... - explained the silver-haired elf with an absolutely sincere smile.

"That doesn't surprise me at all either."

-Oh. - was all she said.

- Do you think we can expect magic traps there? – asked her a lashunta.

„I would leave traps out of sheer malice if I were to lose what I care about… if I even thought that someone might dare todid it. It hadn't occurred to me last time, I was so confident."

- If they had the time, and the things they keep here are worth wandering off-road for, there must be plenty of traps here. - Any sane person would do that.

Rechiza smiled sarcastically.

You have a wonderful definition of sanity - she murmured.

- With failures comes wisdom... Come on, they're opening the gate right now...- she said and headed towards the observatory.

Eti had a bad feeling. Well, she always had a bad feeling. She had worse feeling She felt bad being outside without a glove. She didn't want anyone to see her disability. Everyone thought she regretted losing her organic hand, but her new metal one was much better, though she missed her claws. She could cut even metal with them, not to mention flesh and bone. "Oh yeah, not to mention flesh and bone." She clenched her left fist. "And that's why I was hurt. Naughty cats have their claws clipped."

- And how, do you see the generator? - Itel called over the communicator

- I think so, I'm just going to check it out. - she said uncertainly.

- Okay, just focus and don't let yourself get distracted. A lot depends on it, we cannot fail. - her friend recommended.

- All right. - she said and added quietly under her breath after silencing the communicator - I'm glad you don't put too much pressure on me.

Itel had been annoyed ever since Grimmy took over. She was always nervous when she approached the possibility of realizing one of her plans, but this time it was worse than usual. She guess it was her fault. It had something to do with her insisting on taking Sparkle Fingers. She just didn't understand how anyone could have a problem with Sparkle Fingers. She was nice.

The generator was in a small shed. It was padlocked, but with just a few hand blows using a little energy, the padlock broke. The generator was simple enough, but it was the kind that would run for decades on the frontier without proper technical support. She can definitely run it. She was sure of it, she had learned that, as almost everything, by the twentyth day of her life. When they did IT to her. She shook her head to shake off such thoughts. They weren't good, they brought nothing but pain. She looked around and found a tank of high-energy biofuel. They were sealed, so it was definitely still usable. She grabbed the canister, cursing her maimed fingers, and poured the thick, slimy liquid into the tank, then turned a few knobs and turned the device on. She heard the loud whirr of machinery working. Through the vent, she saw light entering the room, so the power was restored.

- Okay, everything works! Now it's time for you Alatar. - she said to everyone on the communicator.

- Be careful. Creatures living in the dark do not like it when light disturbs their peace. - She heard Grimmy's voice.

-Are you always so melodramatic? - she asked, looking around the brightly lit square in front of the building. Night was coming, so a little light might be useful, at least to others.

- You're probably right… - Grimmy replied as with a bitter laugh.

Arkan-Tar walked next to Dragonkin, and his exocortex collected data. This place was not an ordinary research institution of a team of scientists there. The being who managed this used the knowledge gathered by the millennium of existence to build this shield covered with this runes. "Let's add the knowledge without context. That's what all this is about, "he thought, thinking about why no one had undressed this monumental device. Locals may have no funds for this, nor would they know what to do about it. However, there were enough powers in the universe that could make use of this device.

- Alatar, you can now connect to the local network, do you have to connect to your computer? -Bina asked looking around the center.

Dragonkin shook his head, which looked quite strange in the case of a being with such a long neck.

- Theoretically yes, but I would have to use some of the power, and I don't have much left. - He said in a slightly apologetic tone.

- I think we have to enter the main building. Fortunately, i have a simple password breaker, it's quite a useful toy. - Arkan-Tar proposed to his companions.

- I didn't know that haker skils were usefull to archelogists. - Bina said, raising an eyebrow.

- It depends on the archaeologist. Most mainly dig in the ground, but people like me often prefer to obtain information in a slightly more unusual way. - He said a bit theatrically spreading his hands.

- Yhy, unusual you say. - She said, looking at him dragged on. - Itel check if you have any alarm at the door, as you need to ask the shock team to provide you with a cover. S-he turned to the elf.

- I can't even embrace my absolutely perfect mind, how a Wormdak can cover us, but as you know, I'm extremely nice, a gentle and conciliatory person who never wants to start conflicts.- She put in Eti through the messenger.

- Yes, you are the personification of pacifism and love of your felows. - Bina murmured, but Itel confirmed that she had heard the command.

He came closer to the bina so that they could talk a bit more privately.

- Do you look after an extraordinary bunch for a long time? - He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Bina looked at him approximately.

- It will be five years. I have been dealing with them since Kesler's fall. - She said and her eyes burst a bit when she plunged into the memories. - Miraculously we managed to save from theswarm. The Shadows of Tarak did help us... - she looked at Alatar, who probably was looking for a signal, with motherly sensitivity. - I am their only family, everything they have ...- she rubbed her eye and asked. - And how much do you know doctor Leech?

Now she surprised him, he wasn't sure if she just didn't want to find him, but this time he also decided to take a chance.

- It will also be five years. He also made the eyes of Rechiza, although she does not know about our familarity. - he said smiling apologetically. - Bina just nodded thoughtfully. They waited forfew minutes in silence and finally heard Itel's voice.

- It's all right inside. - Elf said.

They headed towards the main building. The windows were made of some very durable material that did not get dirty. It seemed that the whole building was almost self -sufficient, probably in the interior there was a fusion reactor ensuring the power supply of the observation disc and the rooms for employees who probably did not leave this place for weeks,

They three went inside into. They found themselves in a spacious lobby, which seemed not to fit into such a somp. Saltmarsh. A strange alien, even stranger girl covered with orc tattoos, and Dilayla were inside. He didn't see three scouts. White -skinned bowed kindly, and the girl searched the garbage bucket for her only known purpose.

- Itel, this green -haired elf, noticed that this corridor leads to the main computer room. - She said the half -elf, wiping her light blue hair. - But probably everything is safe, because if it was different, we would hear shots and screams.

- And explosions. Eti likes to make explosions. - Red -haired said. He smiled and nodded. The corridor was illuminated by a weak blue glow that would not offend being who hate sun. After a while they came to the room where most of the computers were located. The most valuable data was probably on the internal computer, cut off from the local network of the research center or even on analogue media ... but they only looked for maps. Nobody would be such a paranoid to set traps protecting the results of the research and not tell them about it ... right?

When they entered, Rosie waved them smiling cheerfully.

- I guess everything is right? But what exactly are we looking for? - She asked and began to look around, as if she had just realized why she actually found herself here.

- Map ... maps of the Ravaged Zone and something else ... - Itel said, walking along the circle formed from the monitors. In the middle there was a holographic display. A fairly popular style of office design in places where a rather authoritarian management model was preferred. This bizarre feline was sitting on a chair with her legs on the table, and lazily stared at the screensaver. Somewhere she lost the glove and now held her hand on the armrest rolled up her fingers.

Alatar approached one of the computers and connected a flash drive offered to him by Arkan-tar. He began to tap his claws on the keyboard.

- Okay, I got access. There is some looped transmission to play. Run it? - He asked after a while.

- Yeah! - Verthani recommended, although he knew what they would see ...

The Smarty ordered Alatar to turn on some transmission, so she got up from the chair and started staring at the holographic display, curious what she would see there. She never liked computers. They bored her, not counting simple shooting games, that can be operated with one hand. Itel went to her staring at the display, as if she were waiting, which truth she would reveal to them. After a moment of loading, a figure appeared to them. It was a woman, at first glance she took her as an Android, but after a while she came to the conclusion that she must be a cyborg, someone who underwent a very serious cyber -reconstruction. She saw something like that in a thousand daughters, or rather a thousand sisters, as they preferred to be called. They were even less, "alive" from Androids, because such a number of implants was difficult to control. She had to undergo huge changes, because her face resembled a rather porcelain mask. She saw that the fist stared at her absolutely shocked. Did she know her from somewhere? At the moment, a Grimmy with the other mystics entered the room.

- Here, Mistress of Armament Joan from Void Galeon „the Dreams of Eternity". I speak on behalf of Captain Blazebringer. - She said in a cool, emotionless voice. She felt that Itel was putting her hand on her shoulder.

- You see! He exists, really exists. - The elf said with a strong emotions.

- We demand from the inhabitants of this planet to issue a individual known to us as Doctor Herlam Sidonius. If you refuse, we will use all available resources so that this person is on board. All resistance will meet our definite answer. We have armament able to destroy this planet, and even hurt your sun, although such means will not be needed ... Let the doctor wait for the first officer Vale in front of his observatory. Captain Blazebringer gives a word that nothing will happen to anyone if our demands are fulfilled.

And then the transmission was interrupted. She felt itel leaning on her shoulder. Tears flowed across the solarian's face.

- It's all true. We have a chance. If we cure him ... - she looked tenderly at Etia. She bowed her head as if she wanted to kiss her, but the shooter gently moved away. In the blue eyes of the elf you could see pain, but only for a moment.

- It was ... interesting. - Said the Smarty, adjusting the glasses. - Now download the maps. - It seems that it will all be a lot more simply than I thought. - When he said that, Alatar entered commands. Finally, the download began, and then the pandemonium began.

From several computers, glich gremlins jumped out, which began to run around and make fun. They broken with electric rays, made noise. They were dangerous when to unarmed Nerd caught up but not to them. She hit his fist in the nearest creature, rejecting him to the other end of the room, and then reached for the pistol and shot, turning him into a pixel cloud. Itel cut the nearest creature annihilating him.

- It's not as scary as for a thousand -year - old vampire, it was a rather malicious joke. - Rechiza said, but then a dark being began to materialize over the display. She was tall with a look as some someone took out the bone from its body. She had round, teethless mouth and eyes ... these eyes were full of darkness ... Darkness from between the stars. Everything seemed to slow down, the sounds were muffled. She heard a quiet shout "Bodak!", but there was only darkness ... and then the words sounded. Full of power. Full of terror and might. Suddenly, the creature curled up and overstated until the walls trembled. His body bent and was torn to shreds that fell to the floor. Little of black smoke floated from them. She turned and saw Miss Daisy, who was breathing heavily after casting a spell.
