What if rogue switched powers with jean? And sacrificed her self to save the others when the damn broke. And was thrown back in time to WW2 and worked as a nurse. After the war met Charles xavier and helped him for the X-Men, what if she helped him create the school til Scott, Jean, and Storm attended the school then she left to start her own in England? After the events of the dam Charles needs her help and finally tells the x-man everything and waits for her return.

Chapter 1
She pulls up in a Mustang in the front of the mansion where they are all waiting, some of them can't believe she is alive, she steps out of the car her hair is all white and curly she wears jeans, a white top, and a jean jacket. Charles comes down to greet her with a smile on his face. "Welcome home Marie" he says to her.
"Its good to be back Charles, its been to long" marie says.
She looks up and sees Logan who looks like he is about to run and grab her or run away.
"Hello everyone" as she is walking up the steps.
"I know you all have a lot of questions, but first lets get to why I am here Charles" she says while looking at him.
"Lets go to the study and talk".he replies
Marie, Logan, Scott, Jean, Storm and Charles all walk to his office once the door closes Logan pipes up "Tell us where the hell have you been Rogue?"
"I know you have questions and I will answer them after Charles explains to me why I am here and what is so urgent". She tells him and he scuffs like he doesn't believe her.
"Why can't you just answer the damn question" he yells
"Cuz if he hadn't called me I wouldn't be here, that's why".
"So you would have let us keep believing you were dead? Asked storm with a calm voice.
"We thought it best to keep it a secret,"Charles started to explain.
"long story short after I died I got sent back in time to 1941" Marie explained, interrupting Charles.
"I helped Charles found the school but when you three started I knew I couldn't stay here."
"You knew you were gonna die why didn't you stop it?" asked Jean.
"And what, let you die" Marie exclaimed.
" I have a lot more now then I would have if I had changed things" she continued
Marie glanced at Charles and he nodded knowingly.
"That's enough, we will deal with the matter at hand and answer questions later" Charles said.
"Why am I here Charles, what is so urgent?" Marie asked.
He looked at her with a somber face.
"Shaw is alive" he said looking her in the eyes.
"What did you do Charles?" she whispered harshly knowing the answer.
