Grand Line: Land of Wano
On an island off the homeland of the samurai, called Onigashima, a pirate named Kaidou of the Beasts was drinking sake until he was drunk. And as usual, one of his subordinates, Piquet, was going to take it for his rank.
Kaido (grabs his spiked club): Why…
Piquet (terrified): K-Kaido-sama?
Kaido (annoyed, sends an attack): Why is it so hard to die?!
The next second, the Gifter flew into the other room, going through the wall. In this said room, was the Tobiroppo: Sasaki, Page One, Ulti, Who's-Who and Black Maria. The captain of the Beasts had brought them together to tell them the name of the next strongest Headliner. But by dint of waiting, the tension became palpable. Especially with a certain person who couldn't hold his tongue.
Ulti: What is Kaido doing-gonsu? It's infuriating to wait for him, this fat drunkard-gonsu!
Page One: Stop it, Big Sis! What would you do if he heard you?
Ulti (shocked): Wait-gonsu! Don't tell me that… but if… Pay-Pay, you… you're worried about me Pay-Pay, right?!
Page One barely had time to understand, when he was caught in a real boa hug dripping with brotherly love, rather awkward. And a certain long-toothed swordsman was going to let it be known.
Sasaki (drinks his bottle): Your Pay-Pay is not wrong, Ulti. Stop making your big mouth. And say "gonsu" all the time.
Ulti (swings her brother like a sack): Excuse me, repeat if you dare, you prehistoric alcoholic!
Sasaki (glares): You're going to die, you brat.
Page One (jaded): Here we go again. You don't want to stop them?
Who's-Who (blows his smoke): No desire, "Pay-Pay".
Black Maria (does the same): Sorry Pay-Pay, but I really like seeing Ul-chan give us his snapping show.
Page One: But why are they calling me that?!
Totto Land ~ Whole Cake Island
Linlin (smiling): It's time for the Tea Party. Everyone! Thank you for coming all this way!
At the Whole Cake Chateau, it was party time. Big Mom was having one of her famous Tea Parties, and as usual, the most recognized Ministers were there. We could therefore see, scattered in all corners: Katakuri, Smoothie, Perospero, Compote, Daifuku or even Oven, and even the leaders of the underworld were also present. Clearly, as the saying goes: Even the demons of Hell will come when called to Mama's Tea Parties.
Earth Land: Guiltina
In the headquarters of Diabolos, also nicknamed the Guild of Dragon Eaters, we could see the Master of the latter, Georg Reizen, devouring a huge piece of meat like an animal.
Georg (finishes his meal licking his chops): Nothing beats meat for a good meal. How much longer will they keep me waiting? I want my Dragon God flesh.
Haku (skipping forward): Don't worry, Master. They should be back shortly.
Kirin: The stepper is right, you sent Suzaku to accompany them. It shouldn't be too long.
Georg (annoyed): Unless they stumble upon Fairy Tail again. These gnats have already defeated Wraith and Nebaru.
Misaki: This famous Guild, I heard that my little Kiria fell for a Lightning Dragon Slayer of theirs. Is this story true?
Kirin: Lightning, huh?
Georg: I don't care. What interests me is that he doesn't come back empty-hand-
The Four Beasts Dragon Slayer couldn't finish his sentence, as Kiria, Madmole, and Skullion Raider had just passed through the Guild in a sweat.
Georg: I'm warning you, if you ever talk to me about Fairy Tail again, I'm going to-
Skullion: Suzaku disappeared!
The Dark Dragon Slayer Knights and Georg stood frozen for a few moments. Then, as if in a daze and with frightening speed, the Master of Diabolos got up, sent his table flying and rushed to finish just in front of the three Dragon Eaters to glare at him with his dark gaze.
Georg (grabs Skullion by the throat): How come "Suzaku disappeared"?! How could the Vermilion Dragon get beat?!
Madmole: Actually, he wasn't beat-cha.
Kiria: We were looking for Selene's lair as you requested and suddenly he was caught in a whirlwind of water and disappeared. I'm sure it was the Water Dragon God who wanted revenge!
Madmole: You know it's impossible, Kiria-dono.
Georg (leaves Skullion, dropping him to his feet): It's maybe a Dragon God, but not Mercphobia.
Skullion (rubs his neck): But which one then?
Georg: Selene or the Moon Dragon God, she can cross the dimensions.
Haku (raises his hand with a proud head): I get it, actually Suzaku-san isn't dead, he's just in a different place.
Kirin (puts his hand on Haku's head, making him purr): That's it, little guy.
Misaki: So what do we do, Master?
All eyes turned to the Guild Master, who had his face lowered and his eyes closed.
Georg: Finish playing. We're going to look for Viernes.
Kiria: Alright, we'll be back soon!
Misaki: I don't think you understood, Kiria.
Kiria: Big Sis?
Georg (starts to leave the building): When I say "we" go, that means that it's all Diabolos who is going to get the Gold Dragon God! For Suzaku, if it's really Selene, I have blind faith he can easily chop off her head.
Kirin (readjusts his coffin and follows the movement): It's true that his blade is terribly sharp.
Kiria (annoyed and offended): But blades are my thing! Big Sis, say something!
Misaki: Is it true that a boy caught your eye?
Kiria (blushes): Well…
Madmole (whispers to the other boys): I said so, she fell for him.
Kiria (enraged): Shut up, Madmole!
Elentear: Whiteout Village
In the Critical Magic World, at the Whiteout Temple, the Chief of the Shrine Maidens had a troubled expression.
?: Grand White Priestess, any problem?
GWP: Indeed, I had found a warrior with a power of the same nature as Selene, and with a consequent power.
?: So what? Did it interfere with your transfer?
GWP: Worse… I sent him to a world other than Elentear!
?: Are you kidding we?!
YO, this is DJ-Zombie on the decks!
This was the first chapter of "Sword of the Ocean", where we will follow Suzaku of Diabolos on the sea of Grand Line. You have surely noticed that if the Emperors are present, it's not for nothing: Suzaku will join one of these crews. But it's up to you to decide. I'll just give you possible scenarios and you tell me which alternative you like the most.
Beasts Pirates: As a samurai, Suzaku would fit in well with Wano, but obviously he would get noticed due to his rather odd katana. He might catch the eye of Ulti (or Black Maria, okay I'm hesitating) who would totally fall in love with him, and might befriend Page One, while becoming the occasional rival of Who's- Who and Sasaki (overall he gets along pretty well). The Vermillion Dragon would also have an important role in the crew. His past would be put forward more than in Totto Land, the environment reminding him of too many bad memories.
Big Mom Pirates: Following his arrival on Nuts Island, he would find himself face to face with Amande and her sisters, which would lead to a fearsome fight between the two opposing sword styles (because Mondée and Hachée also use sabers). After delivering a fearsome blow to Amande (which will inflict a superficial but equally painful wound on him), he would collapse from exhaustion before being captured. Suzaku would wake up in front of Big Mom, tied up, and learn that the Empress had engaged him to his third daughter. A rivalry would settle between the two to know which technique is the most powerful, that of Shirauo or Kurnugi. His relationship with his in-laws would be strained, following the fight with his future wife, but would eventually befriend the Sweet Commanders (even Katakuri). His past would be put aside a bit.
By the way, didn't hesitate to tell me how many Bellies Suzaku's bounty would be for.
For the timeline, we are between 1523 and 1524 (after Teach took power / before Drake entered the Beast Pirates). I want to say that Piquet (and other characters) are my OC TO ME! However, they won't be really important, since they will quickly get tinkered (there's already a good bunch of Gifters in the crew). Well, I think I've done the trick. To the next chapter.
