Author's Note: Hey everybody. Grid... is... online. Haha. I've been thinking of this story combination and have been putting it up till now. To be honest, this was the only chapter. I have not even started the others yet.
It's only put forward now, because I got some inspiration which eventually allowed me to step forward with this idea.
Oh, and if you haven't guess, the main character, or the person who this story will mostly focus on is Jaune A.
That's right, the person found in the woods is Jaune A.
Not Jaune Arc, or is it? Confused are you, whelp, we just have to get through this story to find out.
Looking forward for any reviews, might bring me inspiration for the next chapter.
Chapter One: In the depths of the woods
"I'm lost… aren't I? Blake muttered as she walked past the tall large trees in the dense woods. The rush of adrenaline soon died down as her panicked gaze settled into a stern glare. She told herself that she didn't have a choice. Everything that happened so far, everything that lead up to this very moment.
She knew it was going to happen, but she didn't expect it so soon.
The White Fang, she was done with them, for at least now. To think the group that her father created, the peaceful activist organization has now turned violent.
The sole image of the White Fang was now looked on as a… a terrorist group!
To think the group that extended their hands with kindness has now turned to point weapons at others, and it's not only those who were at fault, there were also those who were innocent.
They were found in the middle of the crossfire, and their blood was in their hands, the White Fangs, and for the most part… even hers.
"Adam…" pausing, a frown soon settled. She briefly turned back, looking across the shadows the path was covered in due to the towering trees.
Her heart was clenching at the thought of him, but steeling her resolve, she walked again, this time facing forward.
The White Fang, Adam… they needed to be settled in the back of her mind as the past. She needs to move forward.
They all changed! Everything changed!
That's why she made the choice to leave.
The sound of leaves crunching beneath her boots echoed through the quiet forest, punctuating each step as she paced herself onward.
"First, and foremost, find a way out of the woods, next…" her gaze narrowed in thought.
What was next?
Okay, leaving Adam was the 1st thing planned when she accepted the mission together with him. But now?
What was next.
As Blake pondered this question inside her head, her ears twitched when she heard… a faint echoing sound. Almost as if somebody was cheering?
"Sounds... like people," she murmured, uncertainty lacing her voice as her ears flicked in the direction of the noise. "But why would anyone be out here?"
Not only that, but in the middle of the woods.
Campers perhaps, or, was it the White Fang! At this conclusion, Blake's eyes widened as her heart hammered in her chest.
Did they find her? Did Adam find her?!
Cursing slightly, Blake slowed down her pace, her footsteps as silent as ever as she crept closer to where the sound was. Her cat-like eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for any signs of danger.
Maybe it wasn't them, but still, she has to check it out just to make sure.
"Stay focused, Blake," she muttered to herself, her hand reaching behind, grip tightening on her weapon. "You've come too far to let your guard down now."
The sounds of cheering grew louder, the excitement in the air almost palpable. As Blake neared the origin of the noise, she pressed her back against a tree trunk, peeking around it cautiously.
She took a deep breath, mentally preparing herself for whatever lay ahead. The weight of her past loomed over her, a constant reminder of the life she had left behind – but also a driving force that fueled her determination to forge a new path. And if that meant facing the unknown, so be it.
"Okay, here goes nothing," she whispered, gathering her courage before stepping out from behind the tree.
Blake moved stealthily, her feline grace allowing her to slip through the shadows undetected. The cheers and laughter intensified
Her heart raced, anticipation and anxiety warring within her as she drew closer and closer.
Blake's senses were on high alert as she cautiously pushed through the pack of bushes before her. Her ears perked up for any sudden movements.
Up ahead, the cheers grew louder, accompanied now by the rustling of leaves and noises of, perhaps, a variety of animals?
"I am badass!"
"Definitely not Adam…" Blake blinked, and before she knew it, she was in view of a large clearing.
As she focused, she caught sight of an extraordinary scene before her, a motley assortment of woodland creatures had gathered in the large clearing, their attention focused on a single figure at the center.
Blake's jaw suddenly dropped, "I-Is th-that even possible?" muttering under her breath, her eyes were wide with wonder.
This was far from what she had at least expected.
There in the clearing, standing on a stump, stood a shirtless, muscular figure as he threw both fists up in a cheer.
"I am king, I am the king of this forest! Bow to your king!" the critters around the screaming figure, looked ahead with helplessness.
Even some started groveling at his feet to play along.
"HAHAHA! THAT'S THE SPIRIT! ONLY THE STRONGEST OF THE STRONG GET TO STAND ON THIS STUMP!"
Blake was stunned silent at the scene.
In her travels, when she was young and growing, she saw many faunus before. But this… this took the cake.
After all, it's not everyday you see a person with a human body and a boar's head before. For some faunus, they have animal features, but they were in different sizes. They had ears, claws, tails, and other characteristics that showed their animal features.
But this was the first time, that she saw a faunus whose whole head was that of an animal.
Wanting to have a closer look, Blake took a step, only to flinch when a snapping sound was heard. Looking down, she saw a twig that was broken in half because of her.
Her ears twitched, now noticing the chattering of the animals grew silent.
Sure enough, looking up, she saw that the animals around the boar faunus turned quiet, their heads swiveling in unison towards the intruder.
"?!" The figure on the stump paused, turning his head, causing Blake to have a good look at the unknown faunus.
Blake gulped.
She stood up straight, coughing into her hand before staring at the boar faunus. "Uh, hi." she gave a weak wave of her hand.
A burst of hot air was snorted out from his snout, as the stranger lifted a hand in her direction, fingers wiggling before stilling. "An intruder! Trespassing on my grounds!"
Leaping off the stump, the boar faunus moved forward with a scream, "PREPARE TO GET RAPED!"
"...Oh, no." Blake, still stunned, watched as the unknown faunus soon ran towards her on all fours, like an animal.
No, like, an actual beast!
