It was a cold fall day in Japan school had just let out at Shujin Academy and the students started piling out of their classrooms eager to get home except for one boy he just sighed as he grabbed his bag and stood up from his desk "Kamoshida-Kun looks so much like Mr. Kamoshida..." he heard someone behind him say, he turned around to look at them and saw two girls one with black hair and the other with dark brown hair he sighed "Please don't call me that I hate that name its just Ataru... yes I look like that bastard but I'm not him!" he said to them as he ran a hand through his hair in annoyance while his deep blue eyes peered at them.
The girls blushed hard as they suddenly ran out of the room while Ataru sighed again as he made his way to the door he opened it and suddenly came face to face with a girl that has her long black hair in a ponytail her hazel eyes looked up at him briefly before looking away "Shiho..." Ataru said to himself as he looked at her and blushed softly then quickly snapped out of it "Sorry about that... am I in your way?" he asked her as he moved out of the way to let her enter.
Shiho shook her head "N-No I was just passing by when the door opened..." she said avoiding looking at him as she suddenly ran off making Ataru sigh "She's still afraid of me... I hate looking like Suguru Kamoshida!" he thought to himself as he made his way to the gate once out there he noticed Shiho talking to a group of boys who looked like they were on the track team one of them moved closer to her "Hey Suzui-Chan I heard you've been seen getting real close to Kamoshida-San... kind of risky considering what his father did to you" he said with a smirk.
Ataru watched them he felt his blood starting to boil he hated being compared to his sperm donor more than anything "NO! we're not together nor am I seeing him in anyway!" Shiho replied blushing while looking a bit angry and a tad scared herself "Don't lie to us!" The boy said as he pushed her down suddenly Shiho let out a small gasp of pain as her butt hit the pavement "Ow!" she gasped as Ataru suddenly walked over anger in his eyes "Hey if you got a problem with me why not take it up with me instead of ganging up on a girl like a bunch of cowards!?" he said stepping in between the boys and Shiho who blinked in confusion.
The boys looked at him and sneered "Kamoshida-San... how good of you to join us" the leader of the boys said which enraged Ataru more as he grabbed the boy by the coat and lifted him right up, Ataru was not small by any means as he stood at 6'2 so the boy was pretty high off the ground "Don't you ever call me that again you understand? MY NAME IS ATARU!" he said glaring at him and the boy struggled in his grip while the other boys ran off fast leaving their leader behind "Please let me go! I promise I won't do it again!" the boy pleaded as he kept struggling in Ataru's hands.
Ataru sighed as he dropped the boy who landed on his ass he got up fast and ran away just as fast while Shiho kept looking at Ataru's back "Why did he stand up for me? was it because they said he was like Mr. Kamoshida?" she wondered as Ataru turned around and took a knee "Are you alright Suzui-Chan?" he asked her as they suddenly made eye contact, Shiho suddenly blushed hard "His eyes.." she thought to herself as she kept looking into his deep blue eyes.
Ataru kept looking at her the silence was kind of making him nervous he was afraid she was gonna run away again but when she suddenly reached up and put her hand on his cheek he reacted with shock "Suzui-Chan.." he muttered as he looked at her while Shiho moved closer to look into his eyes more "Your eyes they're different than Mr. Kamoshida's... yours are filled with kindness and warmth were as his were filled with lust and coldness" she said as she kept looking into his eyes.
Ataru had fallen silent at those words and he blushed softly while he kept looking at Shiho he had a longing to kiss her as he'd been in love with her for the longest time but decided against it and just sat there looking into her eyes as he put his hand on hers and held it on his cheek her touch felt so good to him that he didn't want it to end "Suzui-Chan... I am not nor will I ever be my father" he finally said to her making Shiho smile as she looked at him.
Shiho rubbed his cheek with her thumb "I'm sorry Ataru-Kun... I shouldn't have vilified you" she replied as Ataru shook his head "It's alright after what he did to you I don't blame you one bit... I honestly hate looking like him everyone treats me like crap and I'm constantly compared to him it drives me nuts" he said as he kept her hand on his cheek, her hand was so soft and warm he didn't want her to remove it.
Shiho looked a bit down at those words for a moment before suddenly wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him tightly "Thank you... Ataru-Kun" she whispered to him as she tightened her grip on him, Ataru moaned softly as he hugged her back, he wanted so badly to tell her right then and there that he loved her but for whatever reason the words just wouldn't come out "Suzui-Chan.." he muttered as he kept hugging her tightly.
