The gang returned to the school and Ren scratched his head "One thing that confuses me is Morgana told us that once we destroyed Mementos our ability to go to the Metaverse would be gone forever so how is it back all of a sudden?" he asked looking at his phone and noticing the app had in fact returned "I don't know but it's definitely a stroke of good luck I'd say..." Morgana replied as he peeked out of Ren's bag.
Ataru jumped a bit in shock "Did that cat just speak!?" he asked looking at Morgana dumbfounded while everyone chuckled "Morgana is one of our advisors in the Metaverse without him we'd have been lost for sure..." Ann said patting Morgana on the head making him purr "Oh my god Lady Ann is petting me!" he accidently said out loud making everyone laugh "Simp!" Ryuji said in between coughs.
Morgana looked at Ryuji angrily "WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" he yelled angrily making Ryuji smirk "You heard me..." he replied chuckling softly "Alright enough you two! we got a job to do remember?" Makoto said with a sigh "Indeed.. lets get on with it" Yusuke added as he hit the app on his phone sending them all to Nanase's castle, Ataru glared right at the Kamoshida statues while Ren smiled "You know something... a part of me kind of missed this" he said smiling happily.
Ataru stopped glaring the Kamoshida statues and looked over at him "Well these outfits are pretty cool..." he replied with a chuckle as Ann looked at him as she said "We're gonna need a code name for you..." Ataru blinked in a bit of surprise when he heard that "Code name eh? anytime I hear that I automatically think of Bond... James Bond" he replied snickering as Akemi looked at him she had a tight blue sapphire jumpsuit that hugged her every curve and showed a fair bit of cleavage with a mask resembling Joker's except its the same color as her suit.
Akemi looked him up and down "Well we aren't calling you 007..." she said jokingly making Ataru chuckle "Yeah I don't want that either... so what do you suggest then?" he asked curiously as Ataru looked Akemi up and down curiously "How about something simple... like Bear?" Akemi suggested as she kept eyeballing his tight brown outfit which shows off his rather chiseled looking physique, Ataru smiled as he replied "Works for me..." then jumped when he finally saw Morgana who was looking right at him "Whoa... that's cool looking cat form" Ataru said nodding.
Morgana smiled "Thanks... call me Mona while we're in here okay? by the way Ryuji is Skull, Makoto is Queen, Ren is Joker, Lady Ann is Panther, Haru is Noir, Futaba is Oracle, Yusuke is Fox and Akemi is Angel" he replied nodding as Ataru scratched his chin "Good to know... so how do we go about taking Nanase's heart? do we need to locate some kind of treasure or special room?" Ataru asked curiously as he shouldered his giant mace and looked around at everyone.
Morgana nodded "That's right you seem to have grasped it a lot faster than Skull did... not that that's surprising" he replied smirking as Ryuji growled "You want to take this outside Cat boy!?" Ryuji asked in annoyance "We are outside you idiot!" Morgana replied making everyone laugh while Ryuji blushed hard "Whatever let's just do this..." Ryuji said as Ren put a hand on his shoulder "Ryuji I want you, Ataru, Akemi and Ann on the frontlines with me on this one" Ren said nodding at him.
Ryuji nodded as he replied "Sounds like a plan to me..." while Ren looked at Futaba who went into her Persona which resembled a flying saucer "Leave all the navigation to me my love!" Futaba said pushing a few buttons in her Persona while Ren nodded "Okay lets go we need to find an infiltration route into the palace" Ren said looking around for a way in while Futuba flew up high in her Persona "Joker there's an open window on the west side you can get in from there!" Futaba said as she started scanning the place more.
Ataru smiled "If this goes well we'll be back in time for a nice cup of coffee..." he said nodding as they all ran for the window Futaba mentioned and jumped in they were immediately attacked by two shadows who revealed themselves to be a pair of angels "Intruders in King Nanase's Castle!" one of them said as they moved towards the gang "Almost a shame we got to fight such lovely looking creatures..." Ataru said smiling happily, one of the angels heard that and blushed softly.
Akemi giggled "Careful... they may be beautiful but they're also deadly at the same time don't underestimate them" she replied as she shot at the angel on the left who wasn't blushing dropping her to her knees while Ataru moved forward and pointed his 45 Magnum at the other one "Where is Nanase hiding his treasure?" he asked it while looking serious as the angel kept blushing softly "Upstairs in the treasury hall you'll need a key to get in though and only a high ranking official has one" the angel replied nodding as she kept looking at Ataru while blushing.
Ataru smiled as he lowered his gun and put a hand on the angel's cheek "Thank you... now go in peace" he replied kissing it on the cheek making it blush even harder while the other angel stands up "Traitor!" it hissed as it went to attack its partner only for it to get blasted to bits by the other angel "This is definitely new..." Ren said watching curiously as the angel looked back at Ataru "Thank you if you want I can help you guys get around easier? I can even tell you which guards have keys" she said floating in the air.
Ataru smiled as he replied "Sounds good to me..." while Ren nodded in agreement "Agreed there's no such thing as too much help..." he said while Akemi sighed "We should still keep an eye on her just to be safe" she replied as the angel flew behind Ataru "I promise you I won't lead you into a trap or anything like that you have my word..." she replied nodding as she pointed to the door "Take that door and hang a right the stairs leading upstairs are right there" she added smiling happily.
The gang did as she instructed and walked up the stairs "So far so good... security level must be low right now" Ren said nodding the noticed a huge shadow with a golden aura walk out of a door "He's got a key!" the angel said looking serious, Ren nodded then ran towards the shadow and ripped its mask off revealing its true form to be a huge looking lion "My turn to shine!" Ann said using Carmen to send a massive blast of fire at the creature obliterating in one strike and sure enough it dropped a key that Ren scooped up fast and showed to the angel "That's the key for the treasury!" it said nodding and looking excited.
Ataru nodded "I guess its time to leave a route to the treasure and leave then..." he said smiling happily as the angel looked a bit down "You guys are gonna leave after you find the treasure?" she asked as Ren looked at her as he replied "Yeah we got to send out the calling card but don't worry we'll be back soon enough I promise" while putting a hand on her head which made her smile and nod "That's fine then..." she replied as she returned to flying behind Ataru while they walked off towards the treasury room unsure of what to expect but they knew one thing was certain they had to steal the treasure no matter what.
