Back at Ataru's house later on that night, Shiho had gone back to her house for the night so Ataru shared his bed with Hikari who was laying on top of him "Goodnight Baby Bear" he said to her as he kissed her softly "Goodnight Daddy" she replied as she kissed him back then put her head on his chest and closed her eyes.
Ataru smiled as he rubbed her head gently a few times before falling asleep himself and when he did he felt a very curious sensation come over his body usually his dreams were pretty normal but this time he found himself in a jail cell wearing a prisoner's garb and handcuffs, he looked around and saw a girl standing in front of his cell looking right at him she had yellow eyes and long platinum blonde hair whose outfit a dark blue dress and matching headband with white pantyhose and black shoes greatly resembled that of a Victorian era French maid.
The girl glared at him "Stand up straight Prisoner my Master has something to say to you!" she said to him while Ataru blinked in confusion he didn't know what to say as the girl moved out of the way to reveal a huge brown desk in the center of the room and sitting at the desk is a man with a very long nose he's bald on the top of his head but has hair on the sides and back of his head he was wearing a black suit and had his elbows on the desk while his long nose rested on the top of his hands.
The man smiled at him "I apologize for bringing you here like this but what I have to say is of the gravest importance..." he said as Ataru shook his head as he looked at the man "Where am I and who are you?" he asked curiously as he peered at both the girl and the man a bit nervously "My name is Igor and this is my assistant Lavenza you are currently in the Velvet Room which is in the Metaverse..." Igor explained as he pointed at both the girl and the room.
Ataru blinked in confusion he knew about the Metaverse but not about this Velvet Room "So what do you want with me?" he asked curiously as he swallowed nervously while looking right at Igor who kept smiling "The Metaverse as well as the real world is in grave danger the Demon King Mordecai has broken free from his binds, many many years ago I was able to bind him in the deepest darkest part of the Metaverse but I lacked the power to truly kill him... Mordecai is a truly frightening man when I sealed him away he was on the verge of figuring out how to merge the real world with the Metaverse if that ever happened great calamity would ensue!" Igor explained with a sigh.
Ataru sighed and shook his head "So you think he'll try to resume where he left off?" he asked curiously as Igor nodded "Yes it's always been his ambition to rule both worlds..." Ataru rubbed his face in annoyance "So how can we possibly help you?" Igor finally moved his long nose off his hands and sat up straight "You will deliver a message to the Phantom Thieves for me tell them some old acquaintances of mine will be joining them shortly at LeBlanc I believe with all your combined power you can finally stop Mordecai for good and save both worlds..." Igor explained with a nod.
After thinking it over for a bit Ataru finally nodded "I will do as you ask" Igor nods as he put his hands on his desk "My old acquaintances should arrive in the next day or two I've already told them all of this" Ataru nodded and sighed while he looked over at Lavenza just as the fuzzy feeling returned to his body "Guess its time to wake up... be good alright cutie?" he said to her with a wink making her blush softly as he suddenly woke up in bed Ataru saw Hikari was still asleep on him as he peered over at the clock and saw it was now 9am, Ataru rubbed his eyes softly "Was that all a dream or was it real?" he thought to himself as he looked down at Hikari and rubbed her head gently.
Hikari moaned softly but stayed asleep "Real or not I'd better take it seriously..." he said to himself as he kept rubbing Hikari's head softly because it was Sunday he was gonna lay there and wait until she woke up before he got up, Ataru reached over to the end table next to his bed and grabbed the TV remote he turned on the TV and started flipping through channels one of which has an old commercial featuring Rise Kujikawa on it while keeping the volume low enough that he could hear it and not wake up Hikari who suddenly moved so she was on her back and put her hands above her head which ended up just below Ataru's chin.
Ataru chuckled softly as he gently kissed one of her little hands which twitched softly as did one of her legs under the sheets "Mmm..." Hikari muttered as she woke up and rubbed her eyes softly "Good morning Daddy..." she said tilting her head back to look up at him "Good morning Baby Bear sleep well?" he asked curiously as Hikari nodded "I sure did" Hikari replied as she turned around on him and kissed him softly "I'm glad listen we're gonna head over to LeBlanc today" Hikari smiled as she threw her hands up in the air "Yay I get to see everyone today!" she replied giggling.
Ataru laughed "That's right Baby Bear and I'm sure they'll be happy to see you too" he said hugging her close as he grabbed his phone and pulled up the group chat "Emergency Meeting at LeBlanc in about an hour and a half" he said in the group chat "For Real!?" Ryuji replied in the chat making Ataru chuckle "Yes for real..." he replied as Futaba popped up in the chat with a message that read "No worries there Ren and I already there with Akemi, Rosanna and Morgana" Ataru smiled as he started typing "Sounds good see you guys soon" his message read.
Ann chimed in next "I'll be there" her message read as everyone else chimed in with the same message "Okay Baby Bear you go get dressed and I'll meet you at the door okay?" Ataru said looking down at Hikari who nodded "Okay Daddy" she replied as she kissed him again before getting off him and leaving the room to head for her own room, Ataru got up then got changed into a pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt then headed downstairs where he saw Hikari already waiting for him holding a small female looking teddy bear she was wearing a blue dress and red mary jane shoes "Wow that was fast" he said chuckling softly.
Hikari giggled "I was excited so I dressed as fast as possible Daddy" she explained with a nod as Ataru smiled "Bringing a teddy bear huh?" Hikari nodded and smiled "Uh huh this is my favorite one too" she replied as Ataru put his shoes on then picked her up "Well lets go" he said as he walked out of the house and locked it behind him.
