At Mordecai's castle his large gleaming red eyes could be seen in the darkness surrounded by other pairs of smaller red eyes "If those fools think they can stop me... they're in for a rude awakening no one can stop me not even that fool Igor! so enjoy your free time with your friends you pathetic fools for it will be the last time you will ever do so!" his low gravelly voice said as he laughed darkly alongside the other demons in the room with him except their voices were much higher pitched.
Over at LeBlanc the gang just finished their coffee and curries "Man I got to say fighting alongside the legendary Investigation Team is gonna be a real honor and I hope we live up to your expectations" Ryuji said to Yu and nodded "Oh come on you're gonna inflate Yosuke's ego and we don't need that" he replied teasingly which makes Yosuke snort "Very funny Yu..." Chie giggled "Oh come on he's just teasing you" she said kissing Yosuke softly.
Yosuke moaned a bit as he kissed her back "That's how you can tell everyone in your gang is close you're not afraid to tease each other" Ataru said laughing while Yu nodded "Yeah we've been together for a long time and we'll always have each others backs no matter what" Rise nodded in agreement "You got that right!" she said kissing his cheek softly.
Ataru smiled "So I guess once we figure out where the Demon King's hiding we'll meet up again right here at LeBlanc" Yu nodded in agreement "Sounds like a plan to me... here's hoping Igor talks to one of us tonight" Akemi looked over at them "I'm sure he will... the Master isn't stupid nor would he leave us high and dry" she said as she gently pet Rosanna on the head making her purr softly "Mommy's right the Master is many things but a backstabber ain't one of them" she said with a soft meow as she felt Akemi rubbing her chin.
Ataru smiled "Well I guess this concludes our first meeting then..." he said nodding as Yu looked at him "Yeah I guess so... you guys have our numbers anything pops up shoot us a text and we'll be here as fast as possible" he replied as he started shaking hands all around as did everyone else "It was truly an honor to meet you guys" Ren said smiling happily as Yu nodded "Likewise for us... now we got to go get checked into the hotel before it gets too late" he replied standing up along with the rest of his team.
A couple hours later back at Ataru's place he went to bed and since Shiho wasn't there Hikari took her place in his bed "Goodnight Daddy" Hikari said kissing him on the cheek "Goodnight Baby Bear" he replied as they fell asleep together and immediately Ataru was pulled into the Velvet Room where Igor looked at him with his long nose resting on his hands "Igor am I glad to see you..." Igor chuckled as he tilted his head a bit "Oh are you now?" he asked teasingly while Lavenza rolled her eyes.
Ataru chuckled "Yes can you tell me where the Demon King is?" he asked curiously as Igor smiled "Yeah I apologize for not telling you that last time we kind of ran out of time..." Ataru nodded "It's fine so where is he?" Igor smiled again as he moved his hands and put them on his desk "Mordecai's castle can be found by going into the Metaverse near Akihabara the keywords are Daimao, Castle and Mordecai" he replied as he looked at bit sad for a moment.
Ataru noticed brief sadness on his face and scratched his chin "You okay? you seem upset by all this like you're having second thoughts" he asked curiously as Igor shook his head "I'll be fine just promise me no matter what... you'll defeat him" Ataru nodded as he suddenly felt a warm tingling sensation "I promise... no we promise to stop him" he said before he left the Velvet Room as Lavenza looked at Igor "Are you sure you're totally okay with this Master?" Igor nodded "I have to be.. there's no other way" he replied with a sigh as he rubbed his face.
Ataru woke up in bed then looked at the clock next to his bed and saw it was 6am he looked down and saw Hikari asleep on him with her back on his chest and her hands up by his face he smiled as he grabbed his phone off the end table and shot the group chat a text detailing everything Igor told him and he also sent the information to Yu as well knowing he would tell the rest of his team the information.
Ataru put his phone down then looked at Hikari again and watched her sleep peacefully he smiled happily as he leaned in and gently kissed her cheek, Hikari moaned a bit but kept on sleeping "You'll always be Daddy's little angel..." he thought to himself as she turned around so she was laying on her stomach on him and rubbed her head into his chest as she kept sleeping "Gonna have to wake her up soon we got school today unfortunately..." he thought to himself as he watched her sleeping.
Ataru rubbed her back softly "Time to wake up Baby Bear..." he said to her as he kissed her head, Hikari woke up and rubbed her eyes "Mmm good morning Daddy" she said peering up at him as Ataru smiled "I didn't want to wake you up but we do have school soon and I need to make breakfast" Hikari nodded "I hate how school is so early in the morning.." Ataru chuckled "Won't get an argument out of me" he replied as they got out of bed and Hikari went back to her room to put on her uniform while Ataru went to his closet to put on his own uniform.
After putting on his uniform he went down to the kitchen to make some breakfast, the kitchen was rather large with a huge range, sink and dishwasher combo against the wall underneath a large window overlooking the backyard next to the range was a large stainless steel fridge that had an ice dispenser on it and a large table sits in the room by the door.
Ataru was rich enough to afford hiring a cook but Ataru always loved to cook his and Hikari's meals he started cracking some eggs into a bowl and beat them then put some bacon into the oven, Ataru preferred cooking them in the oven as it was less messy and he didn't get sprayed with grease.
Twenty minutes later Hikari came into the kitchen and smelled the air "Mmm breakfast smells so good Daddy" she said sitting at the table Ataru smiled "It's almost ready Baby Bear" he said to her as he checked on the bacon and saw it was nearly done so he poured the beaten eggs into a frying pan and started making scrambled eggs "I can't wait!" Hikari said rubbing her stomach while Ataru quickly buttered some toast "After school we're gonna go to LeBlanc" Ataru told her as he flipped the eggs "Alright Daddy that's fine will Mommy be there?" she asked curiously
Ataru shrugged "I'm not sure... she might show up with your Auntie Ann" he replied smiling as he put the eggs on the plates next to the toast then took another look at the bacon when he saw it was done he took it out and added it to the plates then turned the stove off and brought the plates to the table and sat down to eat with her.
