This was a chapter a long time ago in an AU piece. After finding it and reviewing it, I've decided that it was good enough to stand in it's own as a one shot. So, Maria never left the party and never went back to the abbey until after Georg proposed marriage to her. This is the story of how she told Reverend Mother about her upcoming wedding.

"All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." The Captain and Maria have been married for a couple of years. With the Anschluss looming, difficult decisions have to be made. Should he stay and defend his homeland or flee with his family?

After Maria leaves for the Abbey, Georg and Maria are both plagued by dreams that reveal their fears and learn the power of forgiveness

The Sound of Music meets The Parent Trap

One shot. Georg takes an interest in one of Maria's romance novels. Written for June Prompt.

Maria has left and Georg has found her note that same evening. Will the Captain find her in time, or has he lost her forever?

This is a revision of one of my previous journal entries from Georg's POV. The night before the wedding Agathe returns in a dream to give Georg her blessing.

Maria reflects over her past and the current situation she finds herself in after having just returned from the abbey. I know this area is well gone over in fan fiction, but I thought I would give it a shot as my first SOM fan fiction as a way to test out the waters.
