Parameters

Parameters are the points on an attribute that is improved as they update their status, as such, these are the 10 Parameters that are improved, and their attributes

Strength

This determines how strong an adventurer is able to lift and/or punch with brute force and how much strength they have as a result, so while they may not look like it, they can pack a punch if their strength meets the requirements, in comparison, base strength at level 1 I0 is being able to lift 10,000 metric tons

This does not go with attack power as that is different in this case

To increase strength, one usually has to lift or move heavy objects or use force of some kind, so weightlifting or throwing are a great way to increase this ability, one of the easiest abilities to increase as some basic training exercises can increase this ability

Vitality

This determines the tolerance of pain, state of being strong and active/energy level, the power giving continuance of life/liveliness, and fatigue resistance the person has as they are able to push past their physical handicaps such as pain, starvation, dehydration, and other means of bodily limitation as they are able to endure such unpleasant experiences without giving way, base Vitality at level 1 I0 is being able to handle a small full body impalement to even the weakest of people if not multiple impalements for the tough ones

This does not go with defensive capability as they are different in this case

This can be increased by repeatedly being exposed to a harmful attack by either strikes from enemies, poisons, this can also be increased by alcohol where at a certain point, alcohol will no longer have any effect on an adventurer at a certain level, Dwarfs and Oni hate this as they can no longer enjoy Alcohol anymore

Dexterity

This enhances a person's kinesthetic sense, muscle memory, Equilibrioception, Proprioception, and maneuvers with your body to have great capability with bodily movement and maneuvers, base Dexterity at level 1 I0 is slightly improved reflexes and movement and curing most physically debilitating past injuries or sicknesses

This doesn't apply to agility or reflexes as this only improves the body's functions and maneuvers, so it is different with speed or agility as they are different in this case

This can be increased by performing task that involves lots of movement and precision such as fighting, crafting/blacksmithing, spell casting, archery, and other things that need precision in

Agility

This makes your movement and perception of a person able to being able to react much quicker with ease as they are able to have faster reaction time and perception of their surroundings, with amazing results, base Agility at level 1 I0 is having an increased reaction speed of 0.015

Doesn't apply to speed as this is different in that case as agility is more to reaction time and movement over actual speed

This can be increased by dodging or evading attacks or while moving in compromising maneuvering in an area where there's little leeway and also by quick reactions

Magic

The ability to perform and/or use magic with a chant and are able to use short chant magic that could be a few words or magic that only needs one word with the intention to use (this is very rare though), and long chant magic that is much stronger as the longer the chant, the stronger the magic, base Magic at level 1 I0 is (in comparison to Megatons of TNT) an energy output of about 2 every number increase, and the base for an Adventurer should be considered to be at 10,000 compared to the normal mortal at 1,000 at best

This does have limits as one's mana is drained along with this spell being used, though one can exert magical energy and not use their mana, though in some cases, this can be used as an attack in some cases, and the magic energy can be felt as well by many experienced adventurers can sense this magic as well

To increase magic, one must use a magic spell repeatedly, or study magic of some kind, namely by reading books of magic and such which do indeed help as higher intelligence also help's increase Magic's power due to a higher understanding and comprehension of it, and as for Rune magic, this is able to increase Magic the fastest as runes use more Magical energy despite being weaker than a magic circle, thus, mages typically use a rune as a means to increase their magic

Attack

This is the amount of power that one gets in their attacks in both physical strikes and magical strikes as well, and this make's even a light attack very powerful as a result, this also increases fist strikes and weapon power as their attacks are amplified as well and how much damage is dealt to break through someone's defenses or thick skin, base Attack at level 1 I0 is (in comparison to Megaton's of TNT), this adds an additional 0.25 for every number raised, so just multiply 0.25 based on the number this parameter is on

This does not go with strength as that is different in this case

To increase this ability, striking and attacking is the fastest and only way to, so punching and kicking are the fastest way to increase this ability in training

Defense

This increases one's durability and toughness as their ability to take a hit increases, while they will still receive some form of damage from even a light attack if they get hit, they can still take many of the big hits from other powerful creatures or other adventurer's, base Defence at level 1 I0 is (in comparison to Megaton's of TNT) is about 2 every number increase

Does not go with dexterity as that is different in this case

To increase this ability, all the adventurer needs to do is get hit and that adds to their defense, usually, the more hits they take, the larger amount of status you gain, thus, some adventurers ask to be beaten to increase this, it's more effective asking people of a higher level to do this

Resistance

The ability to take make types of elements, such as handling heat, cold, poison, charms, etc..., and being able to resist them, while not completely immune to them, they will cause less damage and effect to the person if their resistance is high, base strength at level 1 I0 is being able to resist most weak curses and handle temperatures of 20 Degreed F with ease

This is typically abused as many rely on being able to handle many things, and while this helps build a resistance to many things, they can still get killed by poison if it's strong enough and they don't seek treatment, and some curses are powerful enough to ignore resistance altogether, thus, resistance is useful, but not invincible

To increase this ability, an adventurer would need to expose themselves to anything that has a negative effect on them like poison or exhaustion from not sleeping, typically, however, prolonged exposure to negative effecting elements will eventually

Speed

The speed at which they are able to move and the speed they can achieve in a short or long burst, as well as the bodies movement speed as well as reflex speed (not Agility as that's different), base Speed at level 1 I0, is faster than werewolves perceive movement since their reaction is the fastest, so this is over 35,000 MPH

This doesn't apply to agility as that is different in this case

To increase this ability, all one needs to do is run or sprint, the longer and more elaborate the run is moving past obstacles and moving past attacks there is, the higher the status will be, it also helps a lot to dodge attacks from enemies and attack in hit and run tactics

Mana

The amount of magical energy that one can use and exert when casting a spell, so as the higher the mana, the stronger and longer one can use magic, and the larger the mana they have, the stronger they can become in magic usage based on that the magic is being used for, base Mana at level 1 I0 is in a storage capacity (in comparison to megatons of TNT) of about 5 every number increase and the base for an Adventurer should be considered to be at 15,000 compared to the normal mortal at 1,000 at best

This is something that is conjoined with magic, the best method of improving this is to exert mana or magical energy for long periods of time to increase their mana over time, and since it's magic, just using it can improve it, so magic and mana are the easiest things to improve your status on

To increase this ability, one must use and push their magic to the near limit where they would run out of Mana, that or what is most commonly used, focus magic through their body similar to using KI, and if an adventurer does use KI, this is the fastest, but most difficult way to increase their Mana

under normal circumstances for a mass majority of adventurers, at level 1, any and all updates only improve between 5-12 at most from I to H, but then only improve from 3-5 on average from there on once they pass H rank, and in the ranks above C, some would be lucky to improve 1-3 at that point if at all, so leveling is much harder as it goes on, but for the few who take on hard and grueling challenging fight's and battles can see drastic changes to this even if only a little, the harder and more difficult in comparison to the adventurer it is, the better the results will be as a result, and once they level up (Exp: leveling up from level 1 to 2), the requirements are double what was required from the level before, so the growth is usually cut in half from there, like for a level 2 would then only improve between 2-6 at most from I to H from there, so it's incredibly grinding reliant, and while training and exercise do increase them as well ever so slightly, unlike with fight's in life or death situation's against monsters or enemy soldier's in war, harder training doesn't get any better result's than regular training, so an adventure who train's in life or death training will gain no more Parameter incresae than a adventurer just doing basic training on there own or with a sparing partner, as such, many Familia's avoid training that goes to far as they see it as pointless and risky sicne it doesn't give any better results and risk serious injury if not death

Each Parameter is shown with a rank and a number from 0-1000 where 0-99 is I, 100-199 is H, 200-299 is G, 300-399 is F, 400-499 is E, 500-599 is D, 600-699 is C, 700-799 is B, 800-899 is A, and 900-1000 is S, and anything past that will continue to have an S on the side, that is, until they get to EX at 1500, an impossible feat that has only happened once in the history of adventures within the last 9000 years to someone at level 1 to have one of their statuses at EX after 40 years of grinding and training, and while he was far stronger than other adventurers in his class even after leveling up (more comparable to being a level higher than his actual level), due to how demanding this is, many will choose level up as soon as they get their Parameters at D rank and meet the circumstances to level up as it's too much of a hassle otherwise as well as more dangerous to try and grind your level's when you can get an immediate boost otherwise, so on average, adventurers will have skills between D and B as this is the safest they can get, and in many cases, some people can get 2, 3, or even 4 S ranks if they are strong, determined, and lucky enough, but a majority of these few adventures can only get 1 S rank Parameter at times normally, and only if they're lucky as some peak at A rank, and in some cases, a majority of adventurers reach their limit at time's in one or all fields and only get a majority of their stats to a D or very low B rank before leveling up

Parameters can be raised through experience gained from things like training with either other adventurers or intense personal training, both of which can help in battle prowess and personal improvement, and while it does less than the norm on how to improve, it is effective in other regards, though the most primary and effective way is having many fierce battles with monsters or other adventurer's, though killing your opponent isn't necessary, and you can get more Excilia from fighting a sparring match with someone much stronger than themselves as the fight will be prolonged, but it's easier to kill them, especially monster's, however, anything and everything can go into it, such as lifting, moving, and placing heavy items and repeating this to increase some endurance, strength, and dexterity Parameters

All your Parameters will reset to I0 at every level up so it's a fresh start with new power as they grow again, and like before, their growth at first will be fast, though like their previous level, once they reach higher stats, their improvements will slow down like before till they level up again, although the abilities gained before each level up will remain as an invisible base, they can be viewed again however if the conditions are done correctly, and the new level of power adds more to the user, basically doubling the normal, so adding there capabilities like at level 1, at a new level, they get more of that same strength as they did before, so the higher level you are, the all-around stronger you become, for a level 2 compared to a level 1, the difference is a multiplication of 10 per level increase, so a level 2 should be 10 times more capable than a level 1, and a level 3 would be 10 times stronger than a level 2, and 100 times stronger than a level 1

(basically, all their abilities from physical strength to mental abilities are drastically improved and enhanced by a lot even without increasing their basic abilities yet), though, just because someone's a higher level doesn't mean they are absolutely strong, some level 2's or 3's and even 4's and 5's are relatively weak compared to others of their same level as they may not have that impressive of status as some have only D rank status throughout there level's so someone with higher status could beat them if they pushed themselves to the limit in a fight, such as a level 1 with B and A rank stat's being able to beat a level 2 with a combination of better overall stats, use of Ki, and much better skill over the level 2 (though, the fight will never be won easily and will usually end with the level 1 hospitalized after, they could win given favorable enough circumstances)
