upon morning coming, Bell woke up at the crack of dawn and prepared himself to head to the dungeon, getting his weapons checked and ready, he decided this time to leave his bow and arrows since he won't be able to aim correctly and decided to use close range weapons in place, though he thought of way's to reconcile this but had nothing so far, and yesterday, he lost his weapon's in the middle of a fight and had to stomp the head's of the goblins due to being unable to hold into his weapons due to how shaken was in the dungeon, this time, he would do his best to prevent that from happening, so he would go today and try to earn as much as he could while improving himself to make sure it went better than last time, remembering his status and how it looked after he improved.

Luck EX: this skill is a mystery as it was never seen before, it increases one's luck, but it has other affiliations as well, such as finding specific or rare resources and materials in the dungeon and getting drops more frequently from monster kills and also have them in the best quality as well (turns every 1000 or so monsters a single adventurer kills, they will drop an item, but with this skill, that drop rate can turn to every 5 or so monsters dropping an item when killed and also make Multi Drop's happen every 50 or so time's a monster is defeated since for the average adventurer without the Luck skill, a Multi-Drop would normally drop every 10,000 or so monsters normally, meaning it increases your odds of getting a dropped item by giving you 200 time's the likelihood to get said dropped item, and is likely the factor of your increased luck, drastically increasing their profit for their level and group)

in addition to winning repeatedly at a casino with better chances to get a good deck even if the people they play against cheat, making better calls as well, this also affects their leadership as their choices, random or not will have the least consequences overall, or in comparison to other choices or options with also being at the right place at the right time, this also has the effect of making them likely to get very good and rare skills with a high rank, as high or higher than Luck based on how high Luck is ranked (since Bell has EX Luck, every skill he will get from now on will be EX without exception)

While their fortune increases, it can also increase bad luck since there is no such thing as good or bad luck either, so when traveling, the person will experience situations based on how high the Luck Skill is, I rank Luck means things like birds pooping on your head and clothes as well as random things hitting you on the head are more likely to happen, D rank Luck means you are likely to get in a situation that will end in a fight with people who are of equal or a greater match to you in a fight, and EX rank Luck means you will experience thing's comparable to the mortal world rejecting the god's who reside in it on a daily basis, be in situations where you can easily start a war, and get into fight's with beings who can be called the most powerful in the mortal world to the point where it becomes completely normal

Humanities Heroic Aspiration EX: this increases the speed of growth to an adventurer's Parameters, Development Abilities, and Skills, grant's the user 2 Development Abilities and Skills upon a level up, and affects their learning and adapting speeds as well. The strength of the effects is related to the determination, difficulty, frequency, and continued pursuit of said strengthening or development as well as how pure, honest, hardworking, understanding, fair, and righteous their heart is, due to this, people with this skill can have power far above their level due to how high they can get their Parameters and the extra Skills and Development Abilities, so at times, this means they can even defeat opponent's or overcome challenges that even adventurer's that are above their level have a difficult time facing or defeating, but the only way for someone to possess this skill, it to be the emphasis of the very best humanity can be or strive to be and become, anything less and the skill won't appear

Blessing of Orion: With the blessing of Orion, Bell is able to take on and battle monsters and people with the power of a titan, as well as be a very effective and capable hunter with nearly unmatched hunting skills

Bell saw on the Dunamis card on the card a blue-green dot, meaning he was lawful neutral, appropriate for Bell as he isn't blind to evil and how the world worked, just naive in the world due to his age, Hestia also said it was good he wasn't lawful good, but he had no real idea why, he also studied his skills upon learning about them on his off time at home, Luck wasn't known too well as it's not seen often so there weren't too many books on it, but Regeneration was the opposite, with his Regeneration at H rank, he wouldn't be able to regenerate as fast as he first thought, but cuts and stabs 2 inches deep would heal almost instantly, and implements and stabs through his body would heal completely within half an about, and any and all bones he breaks will be completely healed by tomorrow similar to a god or goddess who gets a broken bone, it made Bell quite the catch as Hestia advised to hide this as it would make him very desirable to the gods and goddesses.

upon heading to the dungeon once again, Bell was far more hesitant on entering, knowing well what he was in for, many adventurers passing by and seeing bell commented on Bell knowing he was likely going in for the second time by his actions alone, apparently, they had seen this kind of thing happen to adventure's more than enough times to know it just by sight, Bell steeled himself and entered once again, it was only slightly better than last time, he had his status updated to help, however, even though he was slightly stronger, it hardly made to much of a noticeable difference.

While he was able to somewhat handle it better than before as he didn't vomit upon entering again, he was still able to balance himself, not needing to lean on the dungeon wall where he burned the skin off his hand's since direct skin contact with the dungeon would burn the skin off of level 1 and 2 adventurer's, while nowhere near as bad as if he was without a Dunamis, if any skin was in direct contact with the dungeon's floor or walls, then they would melt off, and while the effects stop once the skin is no longer in contact with the dungeon, but Bell still felt a lot of the usual effects he felt last time, and the hallucinations were somewhat the same as he saw his dead aunt again, waving at him and beckening him to follow her, with the lesson he had with Enia, the halusination's should be ignored unless you want to be lead into a trap, so Bell did his best to ignore the halucinations, as well as the many whispers in his head as well, he didn't notice it before since he was in so much pain at first, but now that he adjusted to the pain, he heard the many whispers in his head, some of it was incomprehensible, and some of it was whispers of thing's that struck his nerves and heartstrinks, it seemed as if this was the dungeon's mental torture, though, Bell pushed through and this time stayed in as long as he could before he called it quits.

10 minutes in the dungeon maneuvering its maze, he found a Kobold and 3 goblins, this time, Bell was ready, he got his sword in his right hand and hunting knife in his left and attacked, with his first strike, he went to chop the Kobold's head in half vertically, but as Bell was doing this, the Kobold bashed its head against the sword's blade knocking Bell back for an opening as skull and brain matter was visible and parts of it broke off to the ground from the cut, Bell was caught completely off guard as Bell was thinking to himself with this sudden event.

Bell's Thoughts:" (shocked) what the hell am I up against"

in the nanosecond Bell was distracted from the sudden event, the Kobold struck Bell with a punch hard enough to almost break his ribs and send him into the wall behind him, cracking part's of it as well, Bell spat some blood as he regrouped and took on the Goblins that charged him, he did far better than last time this time by stabbing one in the heart and the other in the throat, and he let go of both his weapon's to grab the 3rd Goblin and snap its neck with a quick twist of its head to face backwards as the 3 goblin's turn to dust, Bell grabbed his sword and hunting knife as the Kobold dashed to Bell, it's head still cut vertically as Bell locked his blades with this beast claws and even with its head cut in 2, it tried to kill Bell in a way he never saw coming from a monster in its condition by biting his head off, grabbing Bell's neck with its fangs, since part of its mouth was cut in the attack bell dealt it, it wasn't as strong as it could have been, if not for that, bell's head would have been bitten right off, but luck was on Bell's side as it seemed and bell took this opportunity to kill it, Bell as fast as he could then grabbed both part's of the head that were opened by his first strike and pulled with all his strenth, tearing the Kobold in half as it moved till it was completely torn in 2, then it turned into dust as it dropped multiple Kobold Nail's, and Bell upon winning got excited, though he made the mistake of actually touching the ground which burned and melted the tip's of his fingers off, and due to digging into the ground, this time, bone showed, he applied the necessary medical attention needed, the rest of his time in the dungeon went better on from this one match this time staying in for 4 hours before he had enough and spent 30 minutes to eventually exit with his bag full of magic stones and reporting to Enia, who upon hearing his report knew what bell went through exactly.

Enia:" sounds like a monster with Battle continuation"

Bell:"... oh, right, monsters in the dungeon also have skills and "development abilities" at random which make them more lethal than the one's on the surface"

Enia:" do you even know how lucky you are, a monster with Battle Continuation is far more dangerous not only because they are harder to kill, but also because their tactics are drastically different, throwing away any form of self-presentation to kill, it's even more dangerous since you're a party of one, you should form a party"

Rose:" I don't think it's going to be that easy"

Rose was behind Enia as she was lecturing Bell, she was passing by and heard their conversation, hearing Bell had already faced a monster with Battle Continuation piqued her interest knowing her first encounter with one, and if not for her party, she would have been a goner, now hearing Bell took one on and survived on his own filled the werewolf with a sense admiration for Bell's skill and strength as well as envy and jealousy as she was nowhere near as lucky as he was.

Rose:" there are 3 ways to form a party, either ask your fellow Familia members, hire some adventures to go with you paid in advance, or find friends of yours to go with you, now tell me, of the 3, what option's does he have"

Enia knew none of the 3 options were available for now, Bell had no money to pay anyone to go to the dungeon with him as of yet, and considering his Familia's condition, he was in no position to even consider the idea of paying anyone for anything, as the only member of his Familia, he wasn't able to go with anyone at all, and as far as friends are concerned, he was new to Oranio, so he had no friends to speak of, even if you consider Enia and Rose to be nice, they were guild members, meaning they can't just go with Bell to the dungeon on a whim like many full-time adventurers can, however, while Enia was racking her brain on what to do, Rose said something that would more or less shock Enia very much in a way she didn't expect.

Rose:" well seeing as you are the only member of your Familia, and nobody can teach you about the dungeon, we'll give you lessons about the dungeon here taught by Enia, is that alright with you Enia"

Eina:" (a bit shocked) umm... ye-yes, that's alright with me, I would feel more comfortable if Bell was able to go to the dungeon and know more about it"

Rose:" good, and I'll teach Bell fighting, my combat classes are strict, so beware"

Enia turned pail as Bell didn't know why Enia was pail, then Rose left as she told Bell in a very dire and shaken tone good luck as Bell left, then upon pondering what to do, he ran into Goddess Athena, a friend of Hestia's, and like Artemis, Athena wanted to see if Bell was someone she could trust, not that she doubts that Artemis would make him live if he didn't, but she wanted to see what kind of person Bell was, and was pleasantly surprised by his kind nature and manners, though upon learning of his exploits in the dungeon, she had an idea to help Hestia's only Familia member.

Athena:" wow, you struggle so much to focus to so much as aim a bow correctly as well as vomit at times in the dungeon, if this goes on you'll be dead in no time, if it's that bad, why not learn Ki"

Bell:" I heard of Ki, it makes you as strong as a level above your standard one, so if I learn it, I'd be as strong as a level 2, will it help with the dungeon"

Athena:" absolutely, a level 2 may still experience the side effects, but it does help a lot, why don't I teach you how to use Ki Bell, and you'll be able to take on anything on the upper floors"

Bell:" really, thank you goddess Athe-"

Bell then saw a somewhat disappointed look, he then remembered Artemis's words on how gods and goddesses want to be addressed as and then corrected himself immediately.

Bell:" I mean Athena, I'll do my best to learn Ki under your instruction"

Athena's look of disappointment then turned to one of a smirk as she seemed happy and amused as she was happy to have Bell drop the formalities in her name.

Athena:" better, now, let's get going, and I am a hell of a spartan teacher, so don't think it's going to be easy or I'll go soft on you, so beware"

Bell left as he would take lessons from Athena herself, the goddess of war and wisdom in greek mythology, and Bell know this would be painful, but was prepared to go through hell, he wanted to get stronger after all, so what better way to than to learn from a god of war.

as someone who thought it was a waste we didn't get more of Rose in the manga or anime, I'm adding her here as something of a second-ranked guild captain with only Royman above her in terms of authority in the guild, meaning Rose can pull some string's if she wants, this is important later on

Bell getting more training and harsher conditions helps him grow as his stat's as they are low are able to raise higher, but slow down as he progresses

I'm having Bell's ability to sense people's stares at him turned into something far more useful, you know "Mind Eye of Future Sence" this way, it has far more uses than before, and in Bell's case, this is powerful enough to make him notice people staring at him even if it's a picture or the divine mirror, this way, Bell has a reason to have this and not just an unexplained ability, sure I could have this as presence detection, but thought this would be more useful for him overall

yes, I'm making Bell learn Ki, which would make him technically at the level of a level 2, but trust and believe, along with likely every character being one level higher than before(aside from a select 2), I plan to have some of them know Ki as well, you'll be able to know who

I'm giving Bell Regeneration namely as an excuse to give him many injuries and wounds that conveniently heal the next day to progress the story further, as well as add to bell's value as a Familia member to further make gods and goddesses desire him once he becomes big

I plan for an alternative of Liaris Freese which would really make Hestia not want to have Bell reveal anything, I also plan to make Bell a slightly better lier by him not saying anything, if he's going to show it anyway, he might as well not say anything

yes EX luck is somewhat of a cheat, but let's be real, Bell has that officially already if skills had ranks and luck was a skill, this change also came for storytelling porpoises as well, as well as an excuse to give Bell EX every time without causing any raised eyebrows to him being too lucky, and as for the details, we see the detail's of the skill and development abilities, but on paper for Bell and Hestia to read, it just says the skill and its rank

the blessing of Orion is clearly a nod at the movie that made us all love Artemis and curse Danmachi for not making her a character who is in the story cannonly and made me make this remake where she is going to be a recurring character in the story, as well as add points to Artemis as well *wink wink

yes, I'm adding a few special effects to Bell being in Hestia's Familia, but like this, it would indeed make things interesting for anyone joining a familia as it does indeed make the difference at times
