while Bell was recovering from his real challenge, Syr walked by after being untied to him as if she did nothing wrong.

Syr:" so how are you enjoying things here"

Bell:" I will never come back again due to you being here"

Syr:" I am happy you like it here, especially because I'm here"

Bell:"... oh boy"

Syr:" I like how there are so many new faces to see every time you look around"

Bell:" don't you basically drag them here"

Syr:" most of the time, but for those that come on their own, you can learn more about them and see a new way of life, I love it here"

while the Loki Familia was disappointed to hardly learn anything about Bell, they feel they can grasp a bit about him, sure to rely on him in the future, namely if they need to have a meal again soon, and as Bell left, Rose looked at him leave through her glass of bourbon which to the average person looked Like Rose was only admiring her drink before downing it like a true person of culture would do before drinking a drink like this and then smiled with a thought in her mind about working with Bell after seeing how he handled himself today through an unexpected event and how he handles Syr as well.

Rose's thoughts:"... Bell Cranel... I know you did all you could, and I thank you for that, I look forward to working with you"

then taking a sip of her drink before getting up and going home wondering how Fels will convince Bell to work with them. on his way home, Bell was still somewhat full from his meal, he hasn't eaten like that in a while, but he should be fine to walk home, he then noticed someone looking at him, not the usual person either, this was someone knew, so Bell gets his dagger ready and then turned to the person and threw the blade at them, only for them to catch it between their fingers.

Fels:" I guess you have sharp senses"

Bell:"... does the guild want more information out of me related to the incident, or is this an off-the-records meeting"

Fels:" more or less, I'm here to talk about your help from 7 years ago"

Bell as he tried couldn't help but flinch hearing this, he knew what he was talking about, but still didn't want anyone to know it was him, Bell cursed he went here instead of another dungeon, though, they were farther away for Bell to get to, but still, Bell cursed himself for not going to the one in the Dwarven kingdom since it was the closest aside from Oranio, but still, Bell stayed firm.

Bell:" (breathing in and breathing out)... what do you want"

Fels:" I have high expectations for you Bell Cranel, after all, you did so much for us 7 years ago"

Bell:"... let's say I know what you're talking about even though I can't imagine what I could do back then, what is your aim"

Fels:" an Allie I can rely on that I can be sure can't be bought with money or value his reputation more than lives"

Bell:"... and you think I'm that person"

Fels then tossed to Bell a special card at Bell who caught it off reflex, then to see Fels left in the blink of an eye, bell looked at what was thrown to him, it seemed to be a guild card, and it had the number 6 on it as well, what Bell was given was a level 6 assess card to the guild, allowing Bell assess to many things that only someone like Rose could assess, and Bell now had just as much assess to the thing's in the guild as Rose now, Bell wondering if this is a test, he accepted only because Fels was nowhere to be found, Bell then arrived home where his goddess left him a note, to come to one of Hephaestus's shops, so Bell deciding to trust his goddess packed his things and walked over to the address, making sure to hide the guild card in a place that isn't easy for anyone to find or get to, and then had to enter, meeting a certain goddess.

Hephaestus:" hello, you must be Bell Cranel, Hestia has said a lot of good about you"

Bell:" it is a pleasure to meet you goddess of the Forge"

Hephaestus:" you can drop the formalities"

Bell:" but a god who would crush the heart of Aphrodite, who tried so hard to make her forced marriage work, how can I speak any other way"

Hephaestus:" oooohhhh, you're doing it on purpose to spite me... fair, now then, let's get on with it then, I'm here to help make you new weapons"

Bell:"... why would you desire my aid of great goddess"

Hephaestus:" part of it is in securing Hestia's acceptance of me after what I did, as well as helping a friend out, plus, I hear you're good with a forge, so I'll leave the most difficult part to you and see for myself how good you are"

Bell:" so it's also for yourself as well to see my skills up close, oh great goddess, you are truly resourceful and mindful of how to achieve many of your goals at once or merciful goddess"

Hephaestus felt how cringe-inducing this was, this was too much, the formalities at this point started to sting now, she then asked to see Bell's hands and saw that while they were smooth (namely thank's to "Regeneration" heal the roughness in them before), they still showed signs he had extensive experience in combat, giving her hope that she wasn't making these kind's of weapon's for someone who will just up and die in the dungeon, so she just got to work, asking Bell the kinds of weapons he's used to.

Bell stated he was used to a bow, a Svärdstav (or spear sword, look it up), a longsword, and twin hunting swords and hunting daggers as a hunter, was used to a round shield since he in his time as a blacksmith's assistant had to help test if a weapon put the pressure on an Aspis, Buckler, and Large Round Shields as it should (all safety precautions taken of course), and has experience with throwing knives and explosives as well from time to time.

upon hearing this, Hephaestus was happy that bell knew the proper names of the weapons in question, the knives and explosives were a no-go, but the rest of it was doable, for the shield, she would just make Bell a foldable shield to have the advantages of all 3 shields in one, so Hephaestus got to work with bell assisting, the tools she needed were given without complication, Bells aid was on point the entire time, Bell even at times predicted what tool Hephaestus would need next at times.

after about 3 days, they were done, and Bell was then asked to engrave runes on the weapons, Bell then got out his tools for it and got to work, and Hephaestus watched as each rune being placed was done with such delicate precision that even she herself had to admire, thinking it was a waste Bell wasn't using his talent to become a smith himself, but alas, that wasn't her call to make, it was Bell's, and she respected his decision even if she didn't agree with it, and after about 10 hours, Bell was done.

Hephaestus:" (looking over the runes placed on each weapon and how the rune are)... this is impressive work, even among my best, they can't make runes this good"

Bell:" the only real reason I'm so good is that this was my main job as a blacksmith's assistant, so I got good at it over forging really... but I can't put my whole heart into the forge like many others, that's one reason why I don't want to be a blacksmith, if you can't put your whole heart into it, you can't forge works you can be proud of"

Hephaestus:" I see... okay, I guess I understand why... still, it's a shame to see talent not be used"

Bell:" I have it as a backup in case of anything, that's enough for me anyway, so I'll be off"

Hephaestus:" the weapons are all made of Mithril, meaning that combined with the runes you placed on them should make them able to conduct magic as well as become stronger the stronger you become, and since Hestia's hair was used in making it, only you, or other members of your Familia, can even use the weapons, the blades will be dull and the bowstring will be impossible to pull back, as such, it's important not to lose them, so it's important you train to use these weapon's correctly in your free time, the shield and bow will be especially tricky"

Bell:"... it feels you're investing a lot into me... why"

Hephaestus:" truthfully, I wanted to push myself really, as someone who worked with a Blacksmith, I feel you will appreciate delicately crafted weapons more than anyone, and for me, I want my weapon's to be wielded by those who can appreciate my works for that they are, not as mere tools or weapon's, but extension's to themselves, as such, I can have hope you are worthy of them than the other's I had worked commissions for, I made weapon's like this for rich noblemen who only see them as a decoration piece more than anything, such a fine weapon wasted, so I guess... I wanted to make such high-quality weapons for someone who will not only use them, but I can trust will be able to wield them correctly with all their heart"

Hephaestus waved goodbye while she snuck a paper into Bell's bag, for Bell to later find the Bill, while it was in the goodness of her heart, she still had to charge Bell for the weapons, and since Bell had 7 weapons had a debt of about 1,500,000,000, taking into account Bells pay for the hard work and adding the runes himself taking off about 50% of the original price for the weapons, it was still a lot and Bell felt cheated, with Hephaestus hearing Bell's scream as she chuckled to herself, while Hephaestus wasn't a god of trickery, each and every god like's to pull their prank's every now and again, Hephaestus being no exception, and as for Hestia, Hestia has spent the last 3 days partying with some of her old friends like back in the heavens with a goddess only party as they have a 3 day weekend of partying all day at Aphrodite's, it was just like the parties they had in the divein realm, only no rape happened this time due to the absence of Zeus and Posiden.

for the record, yes, all of the high-ranking members of the guild, as well as most of the most trusted Familias know about Bell, but they are keeping their yap shut as it's better for everyone if as few people know about Bell as possible, and are aware of Fryea, but not sure as of why... yet

I wanted to get into detail on how these weapons were being forged, but since I know squat about blacksmithing even if I look online, I instead opted to describe how well the process was going instead, if that took away from the story, I am sorry

this is one reason I had Bell know how to use a forge, to help MAKE the weapons, yes I'm adding far more weapons than in the original which gives them far more debt than in the anime, but this is because I want Bell to be able to be a versatile fighter who fights with everything at his disposal rather than be a power contest, so Bell will be using many weapons for many combat styles and battles, the shield is especially important as that will be 60% of Bell's plot armor as well in my story on how Bell survives most of the attacks he takes

for those asking why Hephaestus charged Bell, Hestia made a deal to one weapon for free, which is the dual Daggers Bell has, the rest however come at full price (50% off due to helping make them), a prank from Hephaestus that serves as a caveat to keep the Hestia Familia small, it's namely a small Familia anyway, and after Bell archives more, if not for the debt, people would be lining up like no tomorrow

I plan to have all the gods act like little pranksters now and again, namely at Bell's expense since he's too easy a target, but don't worry, what Hephaestus did isn't how bad it will be, at least until Hermes comes along, then it gets bad if not life-threatening
