Hey guys! So if you have read all the way to here then I appreciate that very much. Because to me it feels like you are truly enjoying this story and I truly hope you do. I've been working really hard on this story and I want to try and get as much chapters as I can for my stories before College comes back up again. So a lot of these chapters have been RE-EDIT in 2019. Anyway, I'm not gonna hold you up from reading this story.
Enjoy and tell me what you think about this new version. BTW, if you do not see RE-EDIT on these 12 chapters then it means I have not gotten there. After 12 chapters, it means I have caught up completely and you do not have to worry about looking for that.

Chapter 7
The Brother's Memories
"AKIRA!"
I sit up quickly, my entire body wide awake and alert of everything. The rain, thunder, and lightning was heard along with my heavy breathing. The lightning flash created light into my dark room. I pulled the blankets softly off of me feeling the coldness on my bare legs.
If I knew it was going to be this cold, then I wouldn't have wore my short pajama shorts with my long white shirt.
The sound of the rain was calming along with their thunder and lightning. I pulled on the curtains staring at mother's nature work. It seems that this mansion brings her into a foul mood. I watch one rain drop falling on the ground, next to a women wearing a black dress. My eyes widen staring at her back.
What is she doing out there?
My eyes wondered onto her frame. Her hair was purple and was longer than my hair, almost touching the ground. What is even more surprising, she isn't even wet. Her hair isn't sticking to her skin and the dress doesn't look like it is weighing down. No, in fact...
Is the rain going through her body?
Then, she starts moving. She slowly starts moving to my direction. My eyes say a small corner of her redden lips but I quickly moved the curtain in front of me. My heart beating in a fast rate, sweating, but worst of all, my head was hurting. I felt nauseous.
The rain was going through her body. How could someone I never met make me feel this much pain? This doesn't make sense.
The sound of creaking draw my attention to the door. It reveal my baby sister, Yui.
"Yui?"
I walked towards her but at closer inspection, her eyes were blank. My eyes widen as she reach towards me with that women behind her. The women smirked and Yui was gripping on my wrist tighten. She was pulling somewhere while I struggle with her. The women stayed by Yui side whispering in her ear often.
"Yui, where are you taking me?"
Yui didn't answer me, neither did that women. She kept pulling me until we reached an underground tunnel. Her grip was getting painful. This wasn't Yui. Whoever this person was, they wouldn't let me go. My eyes widen staring at the dead in front of us but in the middle was a door.
"Wait... stop."
The women turned to me with that same smirk. She moved from Yui's side to behind me. She gripped on my shoulders and pushed me forward. The door swung open with a blinding light enveloping me.
"No!"
"Come on. Hurry up."
A child's voice. A very young child's voice. I blink slowly for Yui and that women to be gone. I was in front of a fountain, the sky was clear and beautiful, and there was laughter. It wasn't sinister but a child's laughter. One that would warm a person's heart seeing them play and have fun.
"Where am I?"
"Over here!"
My eyes widen as the small version of Kanato, Ayato, and Laito ran past me. And, there was a young girl that look exactly like me hiding in the bushes watching them. She giggled watching them capture three small bats but the bats escape. Resulting a crying Kanato.
"The bats I just caught go away," Kanato sniffs rubbing his tear stain eyes.
"Don't cry, Kanato," Laito reassures his brother. "We can catch them again."
"Yeah, stop your sniveling!" Ayato commands teasingly. "I'll catch 'em for you!"
I smile watching them interact with each other. They were so close to each other. It was adorable watching them. Laito didn't look like a pervert. Ayato wasn't saying 'Yours Truly' and Kanato was a sweet little kid. The resulting from one of the bushes gain my attention. I watched as the little me was trying to shoo the three bats that flew away from her. She looked like she didn't want to get caught so she ran to a different bush.
"Meanie bats."
She sticks her tongue then watches the triplet at a different angel. But her face turned into fear and sadness.
"Oh no. Cordelia-mama."
My heart rate went up after she said that.
"...Cordelia..."
"Ayato?"
A women's voice sounding confusing comes up into scene. The women in black walks forward with an angry look. I stepped back surprised feeling my knees go weak.
"Is this where you've been?" She asked her son. "Now come along with me."
No way. She was the one controlling Yui. And that little girl called her Mama.
Laito and Kanato left Ayato and Cordelia to themselves. They stare at each other, one angry and one in fear but refuse to show it.
"You're going back inside to study." She instructs.
"N...No way!" Ayato rejects looking down. "All I've done is study!"
"I don't want any excuses. Return to your room." She commands, not carrying for her son's misfortune of studying.
"How come Kanato and Laito get to play while all I ever get to do is study?" Ayato ask.
"Because you're not like other children." She replies simply.
"No, I wanna play more!" Ayato yells at her.
I took notice of the... smaller Akira stepping forward, readying herself to stop in.
"How many times must I tell you?!"
The woman's yelling made myself, Ayato, and smaller Akira flinch. Smaller Akira took a step back growing afraid of the women before her.
"You are the successor. Do you understand what that means? Now, tell me what you must do." She ask.
Ayato look down as a look of sadness took over his expression.
"I must become number one," He replies. "I must become better than anyone."
My eyes widen as him saying 'Yours Truly' repeated over and over in my head.
"And if you fail?" She ask happily.
"I am not my mother's child, so I will be sunk to the bottom of the lake?" He questions.
The memory of Ayato sinking to the bottom of the lake when I first saw came to me. This made even more sense.
"Woah woah!" I rushed over there staring at the women. "This is your son. Are you insane? How can you do that?"
"Exactly, good boy!" She ignores me looking at Ayato happily. "You are worthless to me unless you are number one. Worthless boys must spend eternity at the cold, damp bottom of the lake, all alone, where no one can help them." Her voice gets cold staring down at her son. "Unless that's what you want, go to your room."
"What's your problem lady?!" I shouted at her.
Ayato ran off angry, sad, and scared.
"Ayato!"
I ran after him but felt someone went through me instead. My eyes widen looking at the smaller Akira following Ayato. She looks back at Cordelia with anger but returns back her focus on Ayato. Cordelia walked to a bench looking at her the fountain. Kanato ran up to her with a smile on his face.
"Mother?"
"Kanato, my little song bird. Sing. Sing that song for me." She requested.
Kanato obliges her request while Laito runs up to them. He smiles at Kanato then looks at Cordelia with a some kind of look in his eyes. The memories of Laito and unknown women came to mind. The unknown women cleared up with Cordelia taking over.
What is wrong with this women? There is absolutely no way this bitch can be their mother?
Suddenly a dog's bark draw me to my sense. I looked over to see a small dog running towards. He jumped on me causing my tumble on the ground.
"Woah there puppy," I laugh softly. He barks in response giving me a lick. "That tickles. Wait... you can see me?"
The dog tilts his head confused but ignores my odd question and runs off. I watch the puppy run off to a boy wearing a green jacket and having curly blond hair. Their ocean blue eyes staring at the puppy so happily.
"There you are. Edgar would have been so mad if I lost you all ready." The dog paws at his leg with a bark. The young boy laughs picking up and make funny faces. The dog bark even more with the boys laughter adding to it. "Let's introduce you to mother."
"Shu?"
I question walking towards them with the scenery changing. Shu was walking towards a beautiful women and a child version of Reiji. The pillars surrounding them as the women quilts while Reiji studies. My eyes scanned the area to notice me again. She was hiding in the bushes. Shu seem to take notice of the smaller Akira as he walked forward. He chuckle quietly giving her a wink. She blushed red at the boy, sticking out her tongue in embarrassment. Shu laughed still walking forward with a happy smile on his face.
"Shu, what are you doing there?" The women stands up addressing the boy.
Shu ran up to the women that has the same hair color as his. She shows the puppy in his arms.
"Look, a friend just gave him to me!"
The dog bark happily, sticking his tongue out.
"Release that thing at once," The women ordered coldly.
It was strange. Even though she spoke coldly, there was something different about her. She seemed kind of gentle. Shu ignored her for the puppy to lick his cheek. Shu had a small blush on his cheek and laughed so loudly and happily. I couldn't believe that this was Shu.
"Hey, that tickles!"
Reiji, however, was glaring angrily at his older brother.
"Shu!" The women raises her voice. Shu looked up at her with a surprise look. "You are the eldest son, and therefore, the next head of the family. You must learn how to conduct yourself at all times."
She glances over at the servant. He nodded his head walking to Shu grabbing hold of the puppy. The puppy whimpers from the hold but Shu struggles on letting him go.
"What are you doing?! No!" Shu shouts. The puppy whimpers and barks in pain with the struggles. "I promised Edgar I'd take care of him!"
The small whimpers of the puppy broke my heart. The women walked closer to Shu for his struggle to stop and stare at his mother. They stared at each other for some time. The butler finally taken hold of the puppy but Shu runs off angrily. The butler walks away with the butler but doesn't proceed with me holding onto his tailcoat. He stops seeing me.
"Akira-sama? What are you doing out here?" The butler questions.
Akira-sama?
"May I please have the puppy? He is important to me and Shu. Please please. Beatrix-mama doesn't have to know." The younger me pleaded with her little eyes full of determination.
Beatrix-mama?
The butler sighed staring at the mistress that isn't aware of this conversation.
Wait... she's my mother too?
He softly kneels down carefully giving me the puppy.
"This will be a secret between you and I, Akira-sama." The butler whispers.
The younger me smile widely kissing the butler cheeks then run off towards the direction of Shu. The butler chuckles watching the younger me run off with happy puppy.
"Mother, I have finished memorizing this entire book."
I look back at the women, Beatrix, and Reiji. He was making conversation with his mother but she ignored him returning back to quilting. Reiji look back down at the book in anger but tears were slightly shown in the corner of his eyes.
Reiji didn't get any attention from his mother. While Shu got all of it. Oh Reiji.
I wanted to walk over there but the wind picked up strongly. White rose petals were flying all around me with Beatrix and Reiji fazing out. The scenery was showing a small Subaru looking up at a tower. The smaller version of myself not hiding but holding tightly on the boy. As they hug each other, the sounds of someone crying was evident. And it wasn't the smaller me. I stared softly at Subaru as he cried on her shoulder dropping the knife that I have hold. I look up at the tower seeing a beautiful women but this women looked far too sad. She looked like a trap Rapunzel but hair silvery white and no prince coming to save her.
"Christa-mama."
The scenery changed once more seeing that women Cordelia siting with a man. A man with green hair.
That man from that night!
Behind them was a beautiful lake with mountains as their background.
"Cordelia, you are easily the most beautiful and elegant being alive." The man compliments her. "It is obvious that all things exist to love you and kneel at your feet."
The women was clearly enjoying his lavish attention on her. He kissed her fingers lovingly.
"Richter, I would like you to always stay by my side just to whisper your sweet nothings." Cordelia replies.
I cringe at this moment.
"Yuck."
I turn around at one of the pillars in the distant. Ayato and small Akira were cringing at this scene too. Akira was making fun of Cordelia while Ayato doing the same about 'Richter'. They hold in their laughter holding hands. Then, they look at each other realizing how close they were. Their faces turn red and looked away but Ayato pulled on her hand to run out of this scene.
"Ayato..."
Everything stopped. There was no color and no noise. I turn to look over at Cordelia seeing her the only one turning towards me. Her green eyes glowing brightly, her red lips curving upwards into a smirk.
"Wha... What the hell is this?"
I step back for me to bump into someone. Before I can turn around facing the culprit, the person's hand covered my eyes.
"It's time to leave."
Her voice sounding soft and angelic had my body pulse with energy. I could feel myself slowly slipping away and the energy of my vampire essence revealing.
"Hey. Hey Akira."
Someone's masculine voice entered. My eyelids were heavy but I forced them open. My eyes connected with those emerald eyes of Ayato.
"Aya-chan?" I whispered softly sitting up from the ground. "Why am I on the ground?" I rubbed my head feeling a headache coming on. "And where is Yui?"
"Huh? No one is here except you. Pancake is in her room." Ayato replied confused.
I looked up at him surprised.
"That can't be true because she..." I stopped myself looking down at the ground in shock. "What did she do? I don't remember... How did I get down here? Where am I?"
"What's gotten into you?" Ayato questions helping me stand up. "Anyway, stay away from this area when it rains."
I nodded still looking down and messaging my temples. My snowy white hair falling forward. This alarmed me because I don't remember anything that would have awoken my vampire senses.
"I'm a vampire? But I was asleep... what..."
"Cordelia-mama."
My head thumped for the antagonizing pain surrounded my whole body.
"What was that?"
"Beatrix-mama.""Christ-mama."
Then, everything started to appear. That's when I remembered everything from a few seconds ago. My head was still thumping loudly bringing tears to well up.
"Akira, what's happening?" Ayato ask concerned.
He gripped on my wrist but when I look at him. He took the form of that women.
"N...No... Stay away from me!" I screamed, releasing his hold on me.
I ran away from Ayato but not much later did Laito show himself.
"Akira-chan?"
I looked up at Laito for that women was beside him. I screamed terrified pushing Laito away from me. My feet taking off but their voices shouting at me wasn't theirs. It was that women. She kept calling me with her voice sounding soft and sweet like honey, alluring you to come closer. I tried so hard ignoring that voice but it just kept getting closer. The doors to the mansion slammed opened with a loud bang. The bang woke up everyone in alarm appearing in the front entrance hall.
"Neechan?"
I smiled relief hearing my baby sister. As I looked up at her, my whole body felt a cold shiver. There she was. Her green eyes glowing at me with amusement. Her smirk... she reaches for me.
"No..." I shake my head crying. "No!"
I ran off but was stopped with Shu blocking my way. The feel of cold hands were on my shoulders and long flowing blonde hair was in my vision. I looked up seeing Shu but the women Beatrix showing too. More tears flowed as a sense of longing overwhelmed.
"Beatrix-mama..."
This made Shu and Reiji flinch in surprise. However, I slapped Beatrix hands off of my shoulder and ran off to a different direction. She shouting my name with concern and worry. Again, someone stopped my running. Arms surrounding me and the petals of a white rose behind the person. My eyes widen in fear looking at Subaru's shock expression.
"Christa-mama..."
His eyes widen even more but I only stared at the women holding me. I moved backwards for her to stare at me sadly. I was feeling calmer but... she wouldn't let me. That woman took over Christa form and replaced it with her own.
"Get away from me Cordelia!" I screamed.
Ayato, Kanato, and Laito stared at me like the rest of their brothers. Running to a space that looked open was trapped by the brothers. They all turned into little children from the memories. They were all calling out for me but I wasn't paying attention. My whole body was pulsing with pain. My head was hurting beyond anything I've felt before. I gripped on the first person that was closes to me, which happened to be Ayato.
"Make it stop... It hurts... make her stop... Make Cordelia stop!" I screamed shaking my head.
Ayato gripped on my shoulders shaking on my shoulders slightly. "Hey Akira. What is happening?"
"She won't leave me alone! She's here!"
Then her voice whispers in my ear with a soft chuckle.
"Welcome home my little Akira."
Tears after tears start falling down my cheek. My knees growing giving out for Ayato to hold onto my tightly. I gripped on his shirt, refusing to let go. His arms felt safe right now.
"Help... Please Aya-chan... Please."
Ayato hold onto me. He allowed me to cry on his chest.
"She won't come anywhere near you. I promise."
Well that seem to be the ending of this chapter. I enjoy this chapter very much actually. I'm starting to love all of these chapters that I've RE-EDIT now. I hope you are. Thank you for you patients.
