"All set dear?" Aunt petunia asked him from outside his door
"Yes, aunt petunia" harry shouted back.
Truth to be told, he is not ready, uncle vernon and Mr. Granger decided to shift the houses.
They both are best friends and business partners, they never shifted their houses before. Due to their new company car manufacturing firm opening...so now they are shifting to devon and harry got a seat at hogwarts university.
Harry potter is a 18 year teenage boy his parents were dead in a car accident when he was five. But he never felt like he have nobody, uncle vernon and aunt petunia treated him as same as Dudley, their own son.
But harry have no friends apart from Dudley and Hermione. Even though they don't like each other, because one time when dudley flirted overly with Hermione, she kicked him in the balls at age 17.
Harry and Hermione are best of friends, from kindergarten, they are inseparable an perfect example of friends.
They become friends because of two reasons, one because of their elders friendship and other is because they liked each other's company.
Harry liked how Hermione defend him from other boys, she is not as girly with boys like a girl should be.
"Hey harry, can i come in?" Someone asked from outside and he know who it is.
"Come in mione" hermione walked in and sat beside him in bed, where he sat miserably in only in his jeans.
"What happened?... Aren't you ready yet?" she asked looking around.
"Seriously Hermione? Are you ready?" he asked and looked down, she sighed.
"Harry i know, our school life was just shit... but it is college, new life... I'm sure we will get new friends or else we have each other just like school days. I also got the seat in hogwarts remember?".
This is the main reason he is so miserable. In school, harry had no friends...Everyone always ignored him, because he have a problem of growth disorder and they bullied him. He is the same height of hermione, nearly. Maybe its because she is a year elder than him
But she always stood by him, to support him and she even fought against boys. They never fought back to her, because she was the pet of our headmaster Mrs. Lily.
The people called them 'The nerd couple's' obviously thought them as a couple, because they are always with each other. But they had no other options, because everyone ignored them, not fully though.
A lot of guys had proposed to hermione, bacause she is beautiful, her pink pale skin with a pair of good coconuts, which clearly have its outline showing off, her curvy body and good backside which jump when she walks fast. But she never wears any revealing clothes, always cover herself. She is so prim and proper, always getting high marks, sometimes people called her bookworm.
She never accepted any of this guys proposals, as she thought they are after her money because both harry and Hermione are rich and also for him, because if she gets committed, harry will have no one.
Even though harry doesn't see Hermione in a romantic way, he couldn't help with noticing her growth from kindergarten to now(he is a hormonal teenage guy for God's sake), she really grown up into a beauty. He never tried any move on her, not exactly.
When they were 16, they were single, so they decided to test if people are right as they call them couple, that they have feelings for each other's.
So they conducted an experiment, one day when both of their families gone out, they tried kissing once for nearly a minute in his room.
So they kissed, there was no passion, nobody was enthusiastic, it was nothing more than a peck and when they parted, they didn't feel
anything, except just lips touching, it felt so wrong to both, so awkward like kissing your siblings.
Hermione ran out of his house crying, because she thought, she lost her only friendship and harry thought the same.
They never talked to each other for almost a month, it was so awkward to face each other than. But he apologized to her then and they started to talk like before. So now they are inseparable best friends.
"Yeah, you are right... New life, new friends, atleast i have you" he said and smiled, which was reflected back.
"Okay let's get you packed, im so excited" she lied, obviously she is not excited, why would she. Their school life in pivot drive was hell.
She is sure, she'll get teased in hogwarts, because she is a nerd, she is skinny at her ankles... It's true many proposed her before. But she rejected them because they all are clearly interested in her money, not of her.
Why would anyone be interested in her, she is a book worm, so skinny, so bossy...(sighs). She wants someone to care of her.
The only friend she have is harry, apart from dudley, that fat frog, she smiled lightly how he ran everytime when seeing her.
With that, they set everything ready and got in the car, ready to drive to their new life in the hogwarts university at Devon.
"... and that's how we fell in love (sighs)... those were great times" Mr. Granger repeated his story to both of them for the thousandth time in his life.
Yesterday they settled into their new houses at the end of the street opposite to each other.
Hermione's dad was driving them now to their college, he and she both not listening to story, looking outside of their windows a slightly worried.
"You will take care of her, won't you harry?" he asked.
Who? Me? Taking care of her? Yeah sure... he thought.
"Yes, yes sure Mr. Granger".
"If any guy comes near her, just punch him straight in the face".
"Of course, sir" Hermione quirked an eyebrow at him.
"Dad...I can take care of myself well, you know".
"Yes, i know that sweetheart...I just thought... Ah here is your new college" he said and they both looked around panicking.
There stood Hogwarts university big and proud.
They both said their thanks and bye to him and send him off, turned around facing the entry way of Hogwarts.
Hermione in her usual attire of full body covering and harry in black and wearing a heeled shoe to stand a feet tall than Hermione.
"You ready?" Hermione asked.
"Absolutely...Not" harry said, they both looked at each other for a moment and smiled nervously, started walking.
Hermione's eyes were wide and harry was showing all his teeth by the scenes they are witnessing at the instant.
The lawns were full of couples kissing and making out, a boy groping a girl, no one was alone.
A couple practically shagging, Hermione closed her eyes and clutched harrys hand tightly.
Is this really a college Hermione thought.
Some other group of friends standing around their cars and everything.
They were few feets away from entering the college and that's when.
Some guy whistles at them "Oi blacky come here" he called.
The guy was taller and muscular, with brown curly hair and all, leaning back against a expensive car, with his two friends who looked like bouncers.
"You both" he said again.
They both slowly made their way towards him "what your name".
"I'm harry" he pointed at her "this is Hermione".
"Hermione...eh?" he asked and shown a Flirtatious smile.
Hermione felt disgusted at the way he looking at her.
"Are you a couple" he asked.
Hermione squeezed harry hand, trying desperately for him to lie 'yes they are' but the idiot had other plans.
"No... we are best friends".
"Good... Because I wanted a new girlfriend, i dumped my ex yesterday... so what you say care to give me a kiss" he asked and moved closer to her.
"Why can't you atleast just once, pick someone your size" Someone asked from their right.
They all turned and looked, their someone just a feet shorter than this flirting troll but fit showing some biceps, red hair, freckle faced guy made his way toward them, he had three other guys with him.
"Weasley" the bully snarled and continued "why don't you mind your own business... wanted to be out of the campus, I'm sure you will make your dad save some money, so that your family can eat a dinner atleast" he said and his bouncers smiled.
"You remember last week what happened cormac, when my Fist got connected with the bridge of your nose don't you... if not I can make you remember again". he said smiling smugly.
The guy who was Cormac, his hands automatically went to the bridge of his nose and winced "Crab... Goyle, let's go" he said and they all got into the car and drifted off.
"Im Ron weasley" the red head said and pointed to the others beside him "This is dean thomas, seamus finnigan, neville longbottom" they all nodded their heads.
"Im Harry Potter".
"In Hermione Granger".
They shook their hands.
"Are you two new here?" .
"Yeah... How did you find out".
"Oh...I actually know everyone in the town, my dad owns a supermarket here, so..."
"Oh, are you first year?".
"Yeah, this is the first year for me... Lets get in then shall we" he said and they all walked in for their first day together.
