Spell 12: The Decisive Battle

Phoenix's attacks towards Wizard created an explosion as Wizard screams in pain.

"Shido…" Rinne mutters in worry as the explosion dies down.

Wizard had fallen to the ground as he was groaning in pain as he struggled to stand back up.

"Now...shall we have our finale?" Phoenix asked as he walked to the injured Wizard.

"Assist: Raphael, El Na'ash!" A chain whip appeared as it wrapped around the Immortal Phantom's body.

"What the hell?!" Phoenix said as he began to break free from the chains as they slowly began to crack up.

"Raphael, El Re'em!" They then see someone wielding a large lance charging at Phoenix as she strikes on him on the chest forcing the Immortal Phantom to stumble back as the chains move away from him.

Both Wizard and Phoenix saw that it was Yuzuru and Kaguya armed with their Angels and wearing their limited Astral Dresses.

"Kaguya...Yuzuru…But how…?" Wizard said his healing abilities had kicked in as he stood up using his hands.

"Explanation: Kotori was able to inform us where you were going, and that you needed help." Yuzuru explained.

"Damn you…" Phoenix growled, getting everyone's attention as he glared at the twin Spirits. "Don't get in my way!"

Both Kaguya and Yuzuru were on guard against Phoenix as he was ready to fight them, but then they heard someone roaring and it was Beast wearing his Buffa Mantle as he charged at Phoenix and rammed his shoulder at the Immortal Phantom forcing him to stumble back.

"Nitou!" Wizard said in relief that he's here as he stood on his knees.

"Damn...And I thought we made a cool entrance." Kaguya said.

Phoenix then glares at the Primordial Mage.

"The Inishie no Mahōtsukai too?! Stay out of this!" Phoenix demands as he swings his sword at Beast, and Beast dodges it and kicks on his back and blocks another slash from Phoenix's sword before he grabs onto and turns the Immortal Phantom away from Wizard and his friends.

"Let me eat him!" Beast told them as he pushed Phoenix back using his enhanced strength.

"I'll leave him to you." Wizard said as Beast began fighting Phoenix.

Using this chance Wizard runs towards Rinne as he changes to his Hurricane Dragon Ring and the Yamai Twins follow him as he scans the Ring on his Driver.

[HURRICANE]

As Wizard changes to his Hurricane Dragon Style, he knelt down to Rinne and gently picks her up.

"Are you okay?" Wizard asks in worry and Rinne looks up at him.

"It's my fault...that you were in danger…" Rinne mutters before she passes out much to Wizard's worry.

"Rinne!" Wizard said.

"Advice: Shido, we need to go now!" Yuzuru told him and Wizard nodded as he picked Rinne up in his arms in a bridal carry as he and the Yamai Twins flew up in the air and left.

Phoenix notices them leaving as he throws Beast to the ground.

"Get back here!" Phoenix said as he brought out his wings to fly and chase Wizard.

[CHAMELEO]

Now wearing and using his Chameleo Mantle, Beast uses its tongue to grab onto Phoenix's leg to stop him from getting away.

"You're my meal! So don't run away!" Beast said as he threw Phoenix back to the ground as his wings retracted back into his back.

Phoenix soon stood back up as he glared at Beast.

"Don't get in the way!" Phoenix said as he fired at Beast using his fire birds as they exploded around the Primordial Mage.

Thankfully, Beast was able to dodge Phoenix's attacks as he rolled on the ground and stood back up as he brought out his sword.

"What are you saying? It's perfect now that the pest is gone! Here I go, main dish!" Beast said as he spun the dice on his sword and inserted his Chameleo Ring into its slot as it landed on a…

[ONE: CHAMELEO SABER STRIKE]

"One?!" Beast said in worry as he never tried this number of attacks before. He growled as he looked at Phoenix and his sword a few times as he had no choice but to use it. "Oh well!"

Beast swung his sword to launch his attack and Phoenix was ready to face it head on, but a single magic circle appeared and coming out of it was a single and small energy chameleon as it hops to Phoenix and attacks the Immortal Phantom, but it simple bounce off on his body several times not dealing any major damage to Phoenix.

Both Beast and Phoenix look down at the energy chameleon as it is now sitting on the ground and sticks out its tongue as Beast takes a few steps back while Phoenix easily kicks the chameleon away with his foot and walks to the Primordial Mage.

"I don't have time to play with you." Phoenix said before he brought out his wings of fire as they extended towards Beast.

Sitting outside of the warehouse was the Phantom who calls himself Sora as the warehouse exploded behind him as he grins and covered his ears.

Sora then removed his hands from his ears.

"So even Beast showed up. Well, this is getting pretty fun!" Sora said as he stood up and brought his hands behind his head as he was looking forward to seeing what's going to come next.

(Trust in you by sweet ARMS)

(Instrumental) (As the song begins the screen lowered to a metallic tree with seed-shape devices attached to it, and the tree itself was attached to a shipe.)

(Next we see Tohka, Yoshino, and Kotori wearing their Astral Dresses gently falling and landing on the ground as they turn to the screen as it zooms to their faces.)

(Next we see three more Spirits falling and landing to the ground, as it zooms to their hair as we couldn't see their faces.)

(Next to appear is Origami and Mana wearing their Realizer suits, as it zooms to Origami's mouth and to Mana's face.)

(Next to appear is Kurumi wielding both of her guns as she is surrounded by her clones, as it zooms to her face as she is smiling and her bangs cover her eyes.)

(Next to appear is the Fraxinus crew as the screen zooms to Kyouhei and Reine's faces.)

(Next to appear is Isaac Westcott and Ellen Mathers, before it zooms to their faces but their eyes are covered as Isaac had a smile on his face.)

(Last but not least, Shido appeared as he wore his Flame Style Ring and scanned it on his Driver and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard, as the screens zoomed out as he transformed and showed his Ring, before it zoomed out further as his friends were standing beside him.)

(Fate subete wa hitsuzen? Hikare au you na deai (Deai). Tsunagaru sutourii) (In the city, Tohka was jumping off of her as her name appeared on screen before she runs forward and Yoshino and Yoshinon notice her running past as Yoshino was kneeling on the ground talking to her puppet friend as their names appeared one at a time and Yoshino soon stands up and followed Tohka.)

(Ne kono mune no kodou. Rikai dekinai nara (Up to you). Kono mama ochiteyuku dake) (Kotori was watching as she was leaning on a tree while enjoying her candy as her name appeared before she pulled her candy out and took her leave. Across the street, Origami was walking forward as her name appeared on screen. Then we see Koyomi, Rinne, and Mikie in Omokagedo talking to each other as their names appear, next we see Wajima bringing them some tea before he trips and falls as his name appears on screen.)

(Saa erande suriruna deto hajimemashou) (Kurumi was seen standing on top of a building as her name appears as she was looking up at an airship as its shadow appeared on the building. Shido was seen on street level as he was adjusting his Flame Ring before his name appeared on screen, and he soon noticed something flying in the air and saw it was the AST as they headed out to deal with a Spirit.)

(Hanasu tabi fureru tabi warau tabi mezamete. Ku kono omoi kesshite yuzurenai kara) (Next we see a flashback where Shido and Tohka were walking together as she was enjoying her kinako bread. Wizard was then seen riding his Machine Winger forward as the zooms out from his face, before it changes to Shido and his friends having breakfast together, and then they are setting up for a party with their classmates, and then to them looking at Tengu City on their favorite park. Soon following Wizard was Kotori and Yoshino with their Angels out as Kotori was flying above the Rider and Yoshino was riding on Zadkiel beside him. Then it changes to Shido and Tohka riding in a tram together as Tohka leans her head on his shoulder.)

(Hajimete konnani sunao ni soba ni itai to omou kimi ni deaetakara) (Then it changes to Wiseman along with his Phantom Generals, Medusa and Phoenix. Then as Wizard, Kotori, and Yoshino were moving forward, the Yamai twins flew above them forcing them to split up, next we see Miku riding on a road in the shape of a piano keyboard, next we see Mana flying above them. Next we see the silhouette of a new Kamen Rider and behind him was a giant lion with wings, and changes to the mysterious Phantom Sora as he was chuckling. Then Origami was seen clashing swords against Ellen.)

(Then finally we see the backside of an unknown Spirit that resembles Tohka as Wizard armed with Sandalphon stood in front of her.)

(Then we see Tohka falling towards Wizard as they grab each other's hand in a finger lock.)

(Shinjitaino Date A Live) (Tohka was smiling at Wizard and he was smiling under his helmet as he gently helped her land on her feet, and then the title appeared on screen as everything turned white behind it.)

Thankfully, Shido and the Yamai Twins were able to bring Rinne to a nearby hospital that has ties to Ratatoskr. The doctor and nurses had placed her on the gurney as they began to bring her to a medical room as Shido and the twins followed them.

"Sonogami-san, can you hear me?!" A nurse asked.

"Give her 10 units of RCC!" The doctor told them as they soon arrived at the treatment room.

"Here's Sonogami Rinne!" A nurse said as they brought inside the room, she then turned to Shido and the twins. "Please wait outside."

With that the nurse closed the door in front of them.

"Shido...Do you think Rinne will be okay?" Kaguya asked but Shido didn't answer as he brought out his phone to call Koyomi to tell her what happened.

(In Omokagedo)

"I see. I understand. Please stay by Rinne's side." Koyomi told him as she ended the call and put her phone away.

The others were able to hear their conversation as well as they were saddened by what happened to Rinne.

"I can't believe...he took Rinne-san hostage...That's unforgivable." Mikie said.

"I agree. Damn that Phoenix! When I see him I'm going to give him a beat down he'll never forget!" Yoshinon said as she did a few punches with her arms.

"I'm worried about Rinne...But I'm worried about Shido too." Tohka said in worry.

"Yeah. I wonder if he's okay." Wajima said.

"Eh?" Mikie said.

They soon heard the door opening, they looked and saw it was Nitou as he ran inside as there were a few light scratches on his face and his clothes were slightly damaged.

"What the hell is that guy's problem?!" Nitou complained as he walked to the couch.

"What is it?!" Mikie said in worry as she stood up.

Nitou lightly pushes her to the side.

"That Phantom is freaking strong! I wasn't able to eat him!" Nitou whined as he sat down and leaned on the couch.

"I should have known that was your problem…" Mikie said.

(Back with Shido)

As Shido and the twins continue to wait outside of Rinne's treatment room, they are seated on a bench in the hallway. That is when they saw the door opening and saw one of the nurses walking out of the room.

"Please take care of her." The nurse stood the medical in the room as she closed the door.

Shido quickly stood up and walked to the nurse.

"How's Rinne?" Shido asked as the twins stood up.

"It's not life-threatening. However, she's been badly hurt. She'll need to rest." The nurse said.

Both Kaguya and Yuzuru sighed in relief to hear that Rinne will be alright.

"That's a relief. Don't you agree, Shido?" Kaguya asked.

"Yeah…" Shido said quietly as he walked and sat back down on the bench and placed a hand on his face.

The Yamai Twins were confused by Shido's reaction.

"Concern: Shido, what is wrong?" Yuzuru asked, but Shido chose not to answer.

That is when they notice a man wearing a suit walking towards them as he walks in front of Shido as he looks down at him.

"Hey, who the heck are you?" Kaguya asked.

Shido looked up and saw that it was Kizaki of the National Security Bureau.

(Meanwhile)

Medusa was in an underground pathway as she informed Wiseman of her failure to stop Phoenix.

"I see. So Phoenix's magic has become so powerful that even you can't stop him?" Wiseman said as he walked to Medusa.

"I deeply apologize, Wiseman-sama." Medusa said as she bowed her head.

"It is just as well. If his target is the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai...then let us watch, for now." Wiseman told her.

In his search for Shido, Phoenix landed in the middle of the city that was crowded with people.

"Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai! Come out!" Phoenix shouted as he fired fire birds at the people as they screamed in fear as they began to run away. Phoenix took a few steps forward. "If you don't appear...I'll wreck this whole city!"

Phoenix unleashed a burst of flames around his body creating several explosions and several buildings around him were set on fire.

In the AST's base they soon heard of Phoenix's attack in Tengu City.

"What? A monster is attacking Tengu city?" Ryouko asked.

"Yes, ma'am! We also confirmed that it's not a Spirit though. What should we do?" She asked.

"What do you think? We're moving out! It doesn't matter if that thing is a Spirit or not, we can't let it cause anymore destruction! Tell the squad we're moving out!" Ryouko ordered and the AST soldier saluted.

"Yes, ma'am!" She said as she left and informed the squad.

Ryouko couldn't help but grin as she tightly clenched her hand.

"Yes! This is my chance to finally steal the spotlight from the Kamen Rider!" Ryouko said in glee as stars appeared in her eyes.

Phoenix had finally died down his flames as the area he was standing was searching and trees and buildings around him were on fire as the buildings began to fall apart.

Phoenix looks around to see any sign of Shido but he doesn't appear like he usually does.

"So that's how you're going to play it huh?!" Phoenix said as he was ready to move to another spot to destroy.

Before Phoenix could move to another area, over thousands of bullets rained dowe at him.

It was the AST armed with their guns as they had arrived.

"D-Did we get him?" One of them asked, but soon got her answer as Phoenix unleashed a fire wave around his body which blew away the smoke cloud and some AST soldiers as they crashed on some buildings and fell to the ground.

Ryouko and the other AST members that were still in the air looked at Phoenix as the Phantom was glaring at them.

"What is this?! I want the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai! Not some bootleggers!" Phoenix said in annoyance.

"Oh yeah? Well…" Ryouko said as she pulled out her sword and charged at Phoenix. "Bootleg this!"

Ryouko slashed her sword at Phoenix but the Immortal Phantom easily caught her sword which was much to her shock.

"Oh please! Like your pathetic toys can hurt me!" Phoenix said as he broke her sword by crushing it in his hand before he punches at the AST captain with flames around his fist.

Ryouko attempts to block it with her Territory but Phoenix easily breaks through it as he punches her on the cheek which sends her flying as she crashes in a wall and falls to the ground.

"Captain, are you alright?" One of her supporters asked as Ryouko stood on her hands and knees.

"I'm fine...but you all need to get out of here...now!" Ryouko told them.

"But ma'am…"

"This isn't enough…" Phoenix mutters as the AST turns back to him. "This isn't enough for me!"

Phoenix roared as he unleashed a fire wave at the AST soldiers, they tried to defend themselves using their Territories but Phoenix easily broke through them as they fell to the ground one at a time.

Ryouko was back on the ground as she managed to look up at Phoenix.

"Damn you…" The AST captain mutters as she glares at the Phantom.

"That's what you get for getting in my way, weaklings." Phoenix said before he left to search for Shido.

Ryouko growls before she loses consciousness due to her injuries.

"Where are you...Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai?!" Phoenix calls out and unknown to him the familiars Garuda and Griffin had appeared as they looked down at Phoenix as they flew in the air.

"Phoenix!" Both Nitou and Koyomi said at the same time as the Immortal Phantom had appeared in her crystal ball and in Nitou's hand was a magic mirror that had a golden frame shaped like his Rings.

Both Nitou and Koyomi turned at each other and Garuda and Griffin did the same as both familiars appeared in Nitou's mirror and Koyomi's crystal ball respectively.

"What? You guys have familiars too?" Nitou asked.

"What about you, Nitou-san?" Mikie asked as she looked at Nitou's mirror and Griffin.

"Yeah! Griffin-chan is-" Nitou started.

"We've got to let Shido know!" Koyomi said as she stood up to contact Shido.

"Wait!" Nitou calls out, stopping her. "I'll go."

"Eh?" Koyomi said.

"I know, I know. Say no more!" Nitou told her before he stood up. "Right now, Rinne-chan needs Shido. I'll go in his place." He told her as he punches on his chest.

"How noble…" Yoshinon mutters in awe as Yoshino nodded in agreement.

Nitou then heads to the door as the others watch him before he stops and says.

"It has nothing to do with defeating the immortal Phoenix and eating his massive amount of mana. Not at all!" Nitou said as he turned back to them.

Mikie flinches to hear that as she should've seen that coming.

"So that's what you were thinking..." Mikie said.

"Should've seen that coming! Hahahaha!" Yoshinon laughed while Yoshino shook her head in disappointment.

(Back with Shido)

Shido sighed as he lowered his head.

"What are you doing here?" Shido asked.

"I heard what happened and I wanted to see for myself." Kizaki said as he walked to the railing. "And I have to say, that was a grim expression."

Shido raised his head.

"It's my fault. It's my fault that Rinne was…" Shido said.

"Argument: Shido, you know that's not ture." Yuzuru said.

"That's right. It's your fault." Kizaki said in agreement as Shido and the twins turned to him. "'Only a mage like you can protect people from Phantoms.' You're the one who said that."

Shido once again lowered his head as he tightly clenched his hands together as Kaguya glared at Kizaki.

"Hey buddy, you better watch what you say next!" Kaguya told him.

"I only spoke the truth." Kizaki told her before he looked down at Shido. "You also have to protect the people who are close to you. I was shocked when I heard."

Kizaki then took his leave as he was walking away, Kaguya sticks her tongue at the government agent.

"Who the hell does he think he is?" Kaguya said.

Shido was left pondering about Kizaki's words.

(Meanwhile)

Phoenix had arrived in a new location as he was attacking a burning building with his fire birds, and attacked another building trying to lure Shido to him.

"Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai! You better hurry or there'll be no city left to protect!" Phoenix shouted.

"Oh, I'd rather you not do that." Phoenix looked and saw Nitou had arrived as he faced the Immortal Phantom.

"You again?! I didn't ask for you!" Phoenix said in annoyance

[DRIVER ON]

Nitou's belt changes to its Driver form.

"Showing up without an invitation is my strong point!" Nitou said as he put on his Beast Ring.

He soon raises his Ring above his head and swings his arms.

"Hennnnnnn~shin!" Nitou said as he struck his pose and inserted his Beast Ring into his Driver.

[SET, O~PEN! L-I-O-N: LION]

Nitou soon transforms into Beast and charges at Phoenix to fight him, but then a group of Ghouls has appeared and gotten in his way as Beast kicks on one of them.

Beast then dodges another Ghoul's attack and knees and kicks another charging Ghoul.

"Why'd you guys suddenly show up?!" Beast asked in annoyance as he battled the Ghouls.

"Tell this to the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai:" Phoenix told Beast.

"Huh?" Beast said as he dodges an incoming Ghoul's attack and kicks on it.

"Come to the place where we first fought, tomorrow." Phoenix told him.

"Nani?!" Beast said as he grabbed onto a Ghoul's spear and kicked on it.

"If he doesn't show, I'm wasting this whole city! Be sure to tell him." Phoenix said as he brought out his wings and flew away.

"Wait, main dish!" Beast said as he wanted to chase after the Immortal Phantom, but the Ghouls continue to get in his way as one thrust its spear at him as Beast dodges it and grabs onto the spear. "Why's he always running away from me?!"

Beast kicks that Ghoul away and brings out his sword.

"In that case…" Beast said as he slashed on the Ghouls around him while dodging their attacks. "I'll have to eat just you guys!"

With his final slash, Beast had defeated the Ghouls as they exploded and their mana was devoured by his Driver. Beast looks up to see that Phoenix is now gone, much to his disappointment.

The doctors were successful in treating Rinne's wounds, and Shido was now standing in her room after requesting Kaguya and Yuzuru to head back home without him as he wanted to be alone right now.

Rinne slowly begins to wake up as she opens her eyes.

"Rinne!" Shido said in relief to see her waking up as Rinne looked at him. Shido sighed as he sat down on a chair. "I'm so relieved."

"Shido…" Rinne mutters as Shido places his hands over his face.

"Thank goodness…" He mutters.

"Looks like you were worried about me." Rinne said and Shido lowered his head in shame.

"I'm sorry."

"Eh?" Rinne said in confusion.

"It's my fault you're involved, Rinne. That's why this happened." Shido said.

"You should know...I was meeting Phoenix in secret." Rinne told him and Shido was surprised to hear that as he turned to her.

"Eh?" Shido asked.

"I saw him by my house one time. At first, I was scared...But as we talked...I thought he was similar to Tohka and the others. That's why...maybe we could become friends. That's what I thought." Rinne told him as Shido continued to listen. "But I was such a fool...He may have looked human, but he's still a Phantom. In the end...I just gave him a reason to rampage." She said she felt ashamed as well.

Nitou had returned to the antique shop, and Kotori had arrived as well, along with the Yamai Twins. The Primordial Mage then told them Phoenix's message for Shido.

"'Come to the place where we first thought, tomorrow'?" Wajima asked and Nitou nodded. "It's like he's delivering a challenge."

"It seems like he's fixating on fighting Shido." Koyomi said.

"We've got to let Shido-san know." Mikie said.

"No, I don't think that's a good move." Kotori said. "Given what happened to Rinne, I highly doubt he'll have his head in the game."

"Admit: Yuzuru agrees. Shido wasn't himself during Rinne's operation. I'm not sure if he's able to fight in that condition." Yuzuru said.

Nitou smiles as he turns to them with his hands on his hips.

"Looks like I'm needed, after all!" Nitou said.

"No. If Shido-san doesn't show up, the city-" Mikie said as she stood up and walked to him.

"If I eat him first, that won't be a problem." Nitou said as he folded his arms.

"Yeah, but-" Mikie started.

"Well, I'm pissed that I wasn't able to eat him. If I don't eat him, the worm in my stomach...Or should I say, the Chimera in my stomach won't shut up." Nitou said.

"What won't shut up?" Shido asked as he quietly entered the antique shop which was much to everyone's as they saw him.

"Sh-Shido...How long have you been there?" Wajima said as he showed a smile.

"I only just returned." Shido said as he walked to his friends.

"Oh, then you didn't hear what we were talking about." Nitou said as Shido turned to him. "Let's see…"

Kotori stops him by kicking him in the stomach which knocks the air out of him as he falls on his knees and holds his stomach. Shido blinks to see that Kotori faced him.

"Anyway, how is Rinne-oneechan?" Kotori asked.

"Oh. She's okay and she regained consciousness." Shido told them as they smiled in relief.

"That's good to hear." Kotori said.

"She should be fine with some rest." Shido said and Nitou quickly recovered as he stood up and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Oh, that's good. You also seem tired, so you should go home and rest up! Especially for tomorrow. Definitely tomorrow." Nitou told him.

"Tomorrow?" Shido asks in confusion as Wajima walks in front of him.

"Eh, no, no…" Wajima said, getting Shido's attention. "How about some tea?"

"No thanks." Shido said as he turned the door and walked to it. "I'm good. I'm going back home."

Shido then left the antique shop.

"I see…" Wajima said.

"Whew, that was close!" Nitou said in relief. "You guys better not tell Shido!"

"Like you're one to talk! You were close to telling him yourself!" Kotori told him.

Despite Shido's best effort to hide it, both Tokha and Koyomi were able to tell that Shido was in a lot of pain. Both girls then turned at each other in worry.

(Later)

It was now night in Tengu City. Rinne was still resting on her hospital bed as she wondered how Shido was doing.

In his house and room, Shido was seated on his bed as he didn't feel like sleeping right now. Shido then sensed someone by his opened door and saw it was Tohka as she stuck out her head.

"Shido...Are you alright?" Tohka asked.

Shido lowered his head.

"I don't deserve to be a mage...No, I don't deserve to be a Kamen Rider either." Shido told her.

"Eh?" Tohka said as she stepped out of her hiding spot.

"I arrogantly call myself...the final hope...Yet I let Rinne get hurt like that." Shido told her.

Tohka nodded before she walked into his room and sat down beside him.

"Shido...I thought you wanted to focus forward instead of regretting the past." Tohka told him and Shido looked at her as she showed him a grateful smile. "Shido, I was saved thanks to you. I'm not the only one. I'm sure Rinne, Koyomi, and everyone else thinks that too."

"Tohka…" Shido mutters as he looks away from her as he remembers Kizaki's words.

"'Only a mage like you can protect people from Phantoms.' You're the one who said that."

He then remembers how he helped Koyomi.

"I promise, I'll be the hope you need."

He then remembered how he helped Tohka.

"Even if the world turns against you I will protect you! Even if anyone else rejects you, it doesn't change the fact I accept you when I don't want you to leave! If you ever fall in despair I will be your final hope!"

He then remembers Rinne's words during his battle against Hellhound.

"Even if I'm not a mage I want to help you protect others as well!"

He then remembered how he helped Mikie, Yoshino, Kotori, Kaguya and Yuzuru.

In her hospital room, Rinne's smiles as she somehow could tell that Shido will be alright before she goes to sleep.

Shido smiles as his heart and spirit become strong again.

"You're right." He said.

Phoenix was sitting on the edge of the building before he looked at his hand as flames appeared on top of it before he tightly clenched it as he couldn't wait for his battle against Shido.

Phoenix then looks up at the night sky.

(Next day)

It was now early in the morning as the sun was slowly beginning to rise in Tengu City.

In his tent/home, Nitou opens the entryway as he looks around and walks out of his tent to stretch out his arms.

"Alright! Everything's in working order! Just wait, bastard!" Nitou said as he was to leave and head to the location Phoenix will be, but that's when he saw Shido was already waiting for him as he stood on top of the roof that Nitou was staying on. "Shido, why are you here?"

"Sorry to bother you this early in the morning...But Tohka gave me the message. Thanks." Shido tells him as he turns around and begins to leave.

"Oh, wait!" Nitou calls out as he follows him as Shido's stops walking. "He's my meal."

"I will settle things with Phoenix." Shido said.

"What are you saying?!" Nitou asked as he walked in front of Shido. "The only way to beat an immortal Phantom is for me to swallow him whole. You can't beat him. Give it up."

"Mages aren't the giving-up type." Shido told him.

"Huh?" Nitou said in confusion.

"There is hope as long as we don't give up." Shido stated.

Nitou and Shido stare at each other.

"I am the final hope, after all." Shido said as the sun rises behind him as it shines down at him.

That is when they heard the Spacequake alarm going off, and for some strange reason Shido had remained and Nitou figured this was his doing.

After hearing all that Nitou gave Shido his answer.

"Oh, speaking of which, I'm full from the Ghouls I ate yesterday. I forgot." He said with a smile. "Just for today, you can have this one. You better properly settle things with him." Nitou then walks to his tent.

"Nitou…" Shido said as he turned and Nitou turned back at him as he raised his hand in front of him.

"Ah, I know! Say no more! Don't bother thanking me, that won't fill my stomach." Nitou said as he walked to his tent and Shido smiled at him in gratitude before he took his leave.

As the Spacequake alarm was going off, Rinne looked at the morning sun through her room's window before the hospital began to move underground.

Origami was seen running with the civilians to the evacuation shelters, even though she's an AST soldier, she was still in suspension and needed to act as an ordinary civilian for now.

That is when she heard the roar of a familiar engine. She looked and saw it was Shido riding on his Machinewinger as he raced down the street as he passed Origami without noticing her.

"Shido…" Origami mutters in worry before she is dragged into an elevator that leads to shelter by one of the civilians that was inside.

"Come on, we need to go now!" He told her.

"But…" Origami mutters as the elevator closes in front of her and it soon goes down to the shelters.

(With Kizaki)

"The mage is on the move." One of Kizaki's subordinates told him.

"I see." Kizaki said as he figured where he was going and what he was going to do.

(In the AST's Medical room)

"What? A drill?" Ryouko asked as she had bandages around her body and was lying on her bed.

She heard that the Spacequake alarm was going off and that is when her superior had told her the reason for it.

"Yes, according to the reports. The alarm is only going off as a drill so the civilians wouldn't lose practice of entering the shelters." He told her.

"I see…" Ryouko mutters. But she figures this was no simple drill, after Phoenix's attack towards the city, and how he wanted to fight the Kamen Rider. Despite her mixed feelings towards Wizard, she had no choice but to pin her trust in him. 'I'm counting you, Kamen Rider.'

The Fraxinus crew, along with the Spirits, Koyomi, Wajima, and Mikie were watching over Shido riding on his bike as he heads to the location where he first fought against Phoenix.

"Man that Shido...requesting us to make a Spacequake alarm at the last minute and saying it's just a drill. He better be grateful for this." Kotori said.

"But you have to give Shin credit for this idea. This way neither the AST will interfere and no civilians will get hurt in the crossfire." Reine said.

"But I'm still worried…" Yoshino mutters. "Will Shido-san be able to win? If Phoenix is immortal, how will he beat him?"

"Don't worry, Yoshino." Tohka assured her friend as she placed a hand on her head. "He'll win. This is Shido we're talking about."

"Yeah." Kotori said in agreement. "This is my brother we're talking about. No matter how tough things will get, he'll always pull through."

"That's right. All we can do is watch and cheer him on." Koyomi said.

Yoshino blinks before she nodded and begins to pray for Shido's victory against the Immortal Phantom.

'Please win Shido.' Shido's friends thought at the same time.

As Shido continued to race down the street, Sora was watching on top of a walkway bridge as he leaned on the railing and made a bubble with some gum in his mouth.

Phoenix was standing in the park where he first fought Shido as the water fountain was beside him, as he was waiting for him.

Phoenix then heard the roar of a familiar engine as he looked up and saw Shido driving to the park as he stopped. Phoenix grins in excitement to see him.

"About time." Phoenix said in excitement.

Shido took off his helmet as he faced Phoenix before he got off his bike and walked to him.

"Looks like I'll be able to play without holding back this time!" Phoenix said.

"Yeah! However, your playtime ends here." Shido stated.

"Huh?!" Phoenix said in confusion as Shido stopped walking.

"You trampled on Rinne's feelings. That's unforgivable." Shido told him as he has no intention of showing Phoenix any mercy or forgiveness.

Phoenix grins once again.

"That expression is perfect. This is just what I wanted." Phoenix said as he swung his arm as he brought out his sword and changed into his Phantom Form as he swung it down.

Shido's belt had changed into its Driver Mode as he flipped the switches.

[SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN]

Shido soon puts on his Flame Dragon Ring.

"Henshin." Shido said as he flipped down the visor and scanned the Ring on his Driver.

[FLAME, DRAGON: Bou Bou Bou Bou Bou]

Shido transforms into Wizard in Flame Dragon Style and is armed with his sword.

Both Wizard and Phoenix stare at each other as the two arch enemies are ready for battle.

Then both Wizard and Phoenix charge at each other as they roar. First they clash swords, and Wizard's blocks Phoenix's next slash and pushes his sword back as they clash swords once again.

Phoenix thrust his sword at Wizard and he blocks it in time and attacks with his sword's hilt but Phoenix blocks it with his forearm, and pushes Wizard's sword and slashes at him several times as Wizard gracefully dodges his attacks.

Wizard soon spun his sword at Phoenix to attack him but he dodges it and slashes at Wizard as he dodges it and slashes at Phoenix but the Immortal Phantom parries it which was strong enough to force Wizard to stumble back.

Both Wizard and Phoenix were now standing on the water fountain as Wizard ran back as Phoenix chased after him. Wizard soon stops running as both him and Phoenix clash their swords.

Wizard slashes at Phoenix but he dodges it and kicks as Wizard blocks it with his sword, and Phoenix lands a slash on Wizard which sends him falling to the lower level of the fountain as he falls into the water.

Phoenix jumps down towards Wizard to swing his sword down at him, as Wizard quickly stands back up and blocks it in time, but then Phoenix lands two slashes on Wizard as the second slash sends him flying out of the water fountain and rolling on the ground.

"How fun!" Phoenix shouted as Wizard stood up on his knee and foot as the Immortal Phantom walked to him with his sword on his shoulder. "This is how a fight's gotta be!"

Phoenix and Wizard then engage in a sword fight. First they clash swords, Wizard then slashes at Phoenix as the latter blocks it and parries Wizard's next two attacks, Wizard then dodges a slash from Phoenix and dodge a kick from the Immortal Phantom before they clash their swords in a bladed lock.

Wizard soon pushed Phoenix's sword back and slashes on his chest two times and finished with a stab on it, but Phoenix was still standing as he grabs onto Wizard's sword as he chuckles and kicks Wizard which sends him rolling on the ground as his sword falls out of his hand.

Wizard quickly stood back up on his knee and foot and soon removed his right Ring and put on and set up his Drago Timer.

[DRAGO TIME: SET UP...START]

Wizard pressed on the Timer's switch to activate. As it begins to count down, Wizard charges at Phoenix as he picks up his sword and dodge a slash from Phoenix's sword, and dodge another slash from and Wizard slashes back at Phoenix as he dodges it and slash at Wizard again as he blocks it with his sword.

Then Wizard soon pressed the Timer's switch.

[WATER DRAGON]

Water Dragon appeared before Wizard as they both clashed swords against Phoenix before the Immortal Phantom parries a double stab from both Wizards as they spun around.

Water Dragon stabs at Phoenix and he parries it while Wizard pressed on the Timer's switch.

[HURRICANE DRAGON]

Hurricane Dragon appeared in the air as he slashes at Phoenix which he dodge in time as Hurricane Dragon landed beside Water Dragon as the latter slashes at Phoenix as he dodges it.

"Doesn't matter if there're more!" Phoenix said as he swung his sword down at both Dragon clones and they dodge it in time as Wizard himself stabs at Phoenix which he parries in time before he and Wizard clash their swords, and Wizard uses that chance to press on the Timer's switch once again.

[LAND DRAGON]

As Wizard steps away from Phoenix, Land Dragon emerges from the ground in front of the Immortal Phantom as he blocks a slash from him, and begins to drag Phoenix into the forest.

All four Wizards battle against Phoenix in the forest by the park as the Immortal Phantom clashes his sword against theirs one at a time.

Phoenix was able to land a slash on Water Dragon and parries an incoming attack from Land Dragon and lands a downward slash on him, and Phoenix spun around to slash at Hurricane Dragon and he was able to dodge it by jumping over Phoenix, and slashes on his back but Phoenix didn't even felt it as he lands a slash on Hurricane Dragon sending him to the ground.

Wizard stabs his sword at Phoenix two times but he was able to parry the first stab and blocks the second stab with his sword, Water Dragon runs in to assist Wizard as he slashes on Phoenix's sword pushing it back but then Phoenix lands a slash on both Wizards' chest sending them to the ground.

As Wizard sits back up, Land Dragon moves in behind him and puts on his Bind Ring and scans the Ring on his Driver.

[BIND, PLEASE]

Wizard soon rolled out of the way as several chains made out of stone had appeared around Phoenix as they tied around his body to restrain the Immortal Phantom.

Water Dragon soon stands up as he puts on his Blizzard Ring and scans it on his Driver.

[CHOINE, BLIZZARD...]

Hurricane soon did the same with his Thunder Ring.

[CHOINE, THUNDER...]

[SAIKO]

Both Wizards launch their elemental attacks at Phoenix dealing major damage to the Immortal Phantom.

[FINAL TIME]

Wizard himself jumps over the combined attacks from his clones and heads to Phoenix to finish him, but then the Immortal Phantom unleashes a burst of flames which broke the chains around his body and canceled the elemental attacks.

Phoenix then uses that chance to block Wizard's attack with his shoulder and slashes on him two times, sending Wizard rolling on the ground and his clones face Phoenix.

Phoenix soon brings out his wings of fire and uses them to attack Wizard and his clones several times, and after a while all four Wizards rolled on the ground.

The Fraxinus crew and Wizard's friends gasped in shock that Phoenix was able to overpower both Wizard and his Dragon clones.

"This isn't good...Not even the Timer can beat Phoenix!" Nakatsugawa said.

"And that was Shido-kun's strongest trump card. Just how is he going to win now?" Minowa said.

"He'll find a way!" Kotori shouted as she stood up, causing the crew to turn to her. "Shido will find a way to beat him! I just know it! All we can do is have faith in him!"

"Commander…" Minowa mutters before she and the others nod in agreement.

'Come on, Onii-chan. You must have another trick or something up your sleeve.' Kotori thought.

Wizard and his clones slowly begin to stand back up as Wizard stabs his sword in the ground for support as Phoenix dismisses his wings.

"Is that all yer tricks? Then give up, cuz yer going to hell!" Phoenix stated as he rested his sword on his shoulder.

Wizard resets his Drago Timer.

[SET UP…]

"I'm bad at giving up." Wizard said as he pressed on the switch.

[START]

Wizard and his clones stood back on their feet as Wizard resets his Driver and scans the Drago Timer on it.

[FINAL TIME ALL DRAGON, PLEASE]

All four Wizards levitate in the air in a diamond shape formation as Wizard was above his clones, and then a magic circle appeared behind them as the Dragon clones change into the form of elemental dragons as they roar and fly around Wizard.

Then the Water Dragon flew into Wizard's back forming his Drago Tail, next was Hurricane Dragon as it forms into the Drago Wings, then to Land Dragon as it forms into the Drago Claws, and finally the Drago Skull appeared on Wizard's chest, creating a new form for Wizard. This is the All Dragon Style.

Wizard in his new form looks down at Phoenix.

The Fraxinus crew and Wizard's friends were stunned by Wizard's new form.

"Holy…" Kaguya mutters.

"Amazement: Incredible." Yuzuru mutters in awe.

"What?" Phoenix said a little surprised to see Wizard's new form.

"When all magic becomes one...that is the true final hope!" Wizard proclaimed as he charges at the Immortal Phantom.

Unknown to Wizard and Phoenix is that the White Wizard was watching their battle as his eyes were mostly set on Wizard in his new form.

"With this, one is completed." White Wizard stated.

Phoenix soon brings out his wings of fire to fly into the air to battle Wizard.

Wizard clashes against Phoenix's sword with his Drago Claws a few times before he kicks Phoenix away. Phoenix fired fire birds at Wizard and he blocked them channeling wind from his Wings.

Phoenix swings his sword at Wizard and he blocks it using his Claws and pushes Phoenix away. Phoenix then charges at Wizard to attack him and Wizard pushes him back as he lands a slash on the Immortal Phantom using his Drago Tail.

Then both Wizard and Phoenix flew above the forest and into the sky as Wizard grabbed onto Phoenix as they spun around a few times before they pushed each other back by clashing their weapons.

Wizard fired his Dragon Breath attack at Phoenix and the Immortal Phantom blocked it with his sword and pushed it back.

Phoenix channels flames around his sword to fire several fire birds at Wizard. Wizard was able to dodge most of them before one was able to hit on him, creating an explosion but that very explosion took the form of a dragon as it roared.

Wizard then flew out of the explosion in a spinning motion as he charged at Phoenix and stabbed one of his Drago Claws straight into Phoenix's body, and Wizard summoned a powerful hurricane from his Wings to extinguish the flames around Phoenix's wings.

Phoenix grunted as he stared at Wizard's face.

"Not bad. But ya better be careful. I'll revive once more!" Phoenix told Wizard.

"I don't want to defeat you." Wizard stated.

"Nani?!" Phoenix gasped.

"You're cursed with an immortal body." Wizard said as he pulled his Claw out and spun around to swing his Drago Tail on Phoenix which shattered his wings and sent him flying up in the air.

Wizard soon landed back on the ground and a large magic circle appeared beneath his feet as four more in different colors appeared on it, and Wizard looked up at Phoenix.

"So eternally repeat your cycle of life and death." Wizard said as he jumped into the and after Phoenix as the magic circles followed him.

Then coming out of the smaller ones are four elemental dragons as they head towards Phoenix as Wizard roared and aimed a kick at him.

Then all four of the elemental dragons land an attack on Phoenix as the magic circles landed in front of his body as he dropped his sword and the giant magic circle landed in front of Phoenix as well as Wizard lands a kick on the Immortal Phantom which sends him flying even more up in the air.

The combined attack of Wizard's elemental dragons and kick was strong enough to send Phoenix into the sky and even broke through Earth's stratosphere as the Immortal Phantom was heading straight towards the sun itself.

Phoenix was soon pulled into the sun's gravitational pull as his body turned to ash by it's intense heat. Phoenix was able to revive himself but the sun continues to destroy him as he continues to revive repeatedly.

"It can't be! How can...this...happen to me?!" Phoenix said as his body continues to be destroyed and revived. Phoenix stretched out his hand to break out from the sun's hold on him but he was forever trapped by it.

Wizard looks up at the sun that was now Phoenix's prison until the end of time.

"For you, there is no finale." Wizard coldly told the Immortal Phantom.

The Fraxinus crew cheered for Wizard's victory against Phoenix and his friends did the same as Yoshino and Mikie clapped their hands together, Wajima sighed as he never felt that much tension before.

"Yes, he did it!" Kaguya shouted as she and Yuzuru hugged each other.

"Relief: He won!" Yuzuru said.

"Hooray! He did it, Koyomi!" Tohka said as she hugged Koyomi and she nodded and smiled as tears were forming on her eyes.

"Yeah…" Koyomi said.

Kotori sighed in relief as she sat down on her chair.

"I swear...That guy always has to pull out a miracle at the last minute. But at least he won." Kotori said as she brought out her usual lollipop and put it in her mouth.

(Meanwhile)

Unknown to Wizard and his allies, is that another party was watching his battle against Phoenix.

It was Isaac Westcott in his personal office as he had watched Wizard's battle using a tablet in his hand and by a few surveillance drones that was around the battlefield of Wizard and Phoenix.

With him was Ellen as she stood beside him. Westcott couldn't help but smile for Wizard's victory against Phoenix.

"Got to say, that boy is certainly full of surprises. And I have to give him points for being creative. What better way is there to entrap the immortal phoenix than the sun itself? Not to mention that form of his was something I truly didn't see coming." Isaac said.

"True. But there's also a possibility he might interfere with the plan. Should we eliminate him?" Ellen asks and Isaac hummed in thought.

"Hmmm...No." Isaac said as he put the tablet down on the table as he stood up and faced the window. "If what you told me is true, then Itsuka Shido will no doubt play an important part for our grand ambition. And besides…"

Isaac turns to Ellen with a smile on his face.

"Do you really want to lose the chance to fight a strong opponent like him?" He asked and Ellen lowered her head.

"Well...I guess I can't deny that." She said and Isaac placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Good. But do try to be patient for a little longer. After all the Ten-Oh Festival will be here soon, best not to draw out suspicion towards us until it starts." Isaac said.

(Days later)

After her wounds were more than healed enough, Rinne was now free to leave the hospital.

She was now seated on the stone railing and the area where Phoenix revealed his true form to her.

Shido was seen walking on the stone railing as he heads towards his childhood friend as Rinne looks at him and while Shido looks at the sea river that was beside him.

"This encounter reminded me of just how dangerous the Phantoms are. No more indecision! I've got to do my best again to protect people from the Phantoms." Rinne told him and Shido couldn't but smile to hear that as he turned away from her.

"You're as stubborn as always, Rinne." Shido said.

"I may not be a mage, but I want to help you protect people as your friend." Rinne told him.

"I see." Shido said.

Rinne smiles as her cheeks turn a little red.

"And...my final hope...will always be by my side, right?" Rinne asks as she looks up at Shido as he turns to her, a little surprised to hear that before they begin to chuckle.

Rinne then attempted to stand up but failed as her body began to ache.

"Ow! That hurts!" Rinne said.

"What? Come on." Shido said as he offered his hand to her, and Rinne accepted as Shido tried to help her stand up but her body began to ache once again.

"Ow ow ow!" Rinne said.

(Meanwhile)

Medusa was seen walking in a dark tunnel as news of Phoenix's defeat against Wizard had reached her.

"Phoenix was defeated by the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai…" Medusa said as she figured that Phoenix was gone for good. She soon stops walking before someone calls out to her.

"What'll you do…" Said Sora as he appeared behind Medusa. "From now on?"

"From now on?" Medusa repeated.

"It's just that it'd be hard for you to carry out Wiseman's will by yourself." Sora told her.

"Indeed." Medusa said as she turned to him. "Will you help out? Gremlin?"

Sora chuckles to hear that before he changes into his Phantom form as he walks to Medusa.

(Day to Story by Kaori Sadohara)

(Sore wa sore wa hatenai tabi. Kimi wo sukuu yūsha no monogatari.) (The screen showed the starry night sky above Tengu City, and then it lowered to Wizard's back as he was standing before it moved to his face as Wizard raised his head as the sun rose in front of him.)

(Aru otogi no kuni Tabidatsu wa yūsha) (Next it changes to the park where Shido and Tohka had their first date, as we see two Wizards striking a pose in Flame Style and Flame Dragon Style before we Yoshinon holding the Water Style Ring appearing on the screen as it change the background.)

(Sōgen kakenuke Mezasu wa ohime-sama) (Next we see Arubi Island and show two Wizards in Water Style and Water Dragon Style striking a pose, and next Tohka appears as she wears the Hurricane Style Ring as the background changes.)

(Makkura na dōkutsu kaze fuki-areru yama koeteku) (Next we see it was night time in Tengu City as the screen showed DEM's Japan Branch, and two Wizards in Hurricane Style and Hurricane Dragon Style standing on top of another building striking a pose, before Origami appeared wearing the Land Style Ring as the background changes to Tenguu Square and showed two Wizards in Land and Land Dragon Styles also striking a pose.)

(Tsurugi wo kazashite) (Sandalphone appears as it changes the screen, as we see Shido wounded and kneeling on the ground with the very same Angel in his hands as he had in front of him)

(Hitomi ni utsuru yūki no honō) (As Shido's powers healed his wounds, he looked up and stood on his feet.)

(Yami no te wo furi-harai kimi no te wo nigiru) (Next we see two hands appearing as they reach out and grab onto each other in a fingerlock and a brought light appears between them as it changes the screen white.)

(Ima datte yume datte tsurugi wo te ni. Kimi no koto mitsukeru yo yami wo saite. Taore tatte tsuraku tatte makenai kara. Kono te wo gyutto tsukamaete) Then it changes to a black sword floating in the starry night sky as the screen moves down, as it did the Yamai Twins appeared, then changes to Kotori in her commander outfit licking her candy, then we see Miku smiling at the screen, then change to Yoshino and Yoshinon smiling as well. Next Tohka appeared on screen but she was wearing a dark and different Astral Dress and had an expression that made it seem like she was a different person. Next we see Kurumi's face appearing on screen as she moves away from it.)

(Kienai yūki no honō ga (Dead or Alive) (Then as Kurumi fades away, flames appear out of nowhere as it covers and changes the background.)

(Sekai terashite-iru) (It changes to Tohka and Shido standing on a beach as they watch the setting sun while holding hands.)
