Spell 15: The Wizard and the Diva
In the AST's base, Origami wearing her military uniform was in the supreme court room as her superior officer was seated in front of her.
"Master Sergeant Tobiichi Origami, your suspension is lifted as of today." She told him and Origami saluted.
"Yes, ma'am." Origami said before she lowered her hand.
"Don't cross me again. If you do, you'll-"
They both heard the door open very loudly as they looked and saw it was Ryouko the commander of the AST marching towards her with an enraged look on her face and a document in her hand.
"Major Tsukamoto! What is the meaning of this?!" Ryouko asked as she slammed the documents on the table.
"Captain Kusakabe…" Origami said as she wonders what this is about.
Ryouko then reads the documents out loud to the major.
"An independent AST unit, composed of temporary transferees from DEM Industries, with special powers granted to them in emergency situations?! This is just absurd! You're basically selling out to DEM!" Ryouko stated.
"Well…" The major said.
"The spacequakes have been concentrated in this small area, and yet you have not managed to capture a single Spirit. Not only that, you were completely beaten by that unknown monster and let a masked vigilante finish it for you."
They turned to the door and saw a woman leaning next to the opened door.
The woman appeared to be in her 20s with long curly dark red hair and fox-like icy blue eyes. She was wearing a black military uniform.
With the red haired woman were about 10 women wearing the same uniform as her.
"What good is your opinion?" She asked the AST captain.
"And you are?" Ryouko asked.
The red haired woman and the others with her moved in front of the two AST members as she introduced herself and her team.
"I'll be a member of the AST starting today. Name's Jessica Bailey. Please to meet you." Jessica greeted them.
(Trust in you by sweet ARMS)
(Instrumental) (As the song begins the screen lowered to a metallic tree with seed-shape devices attached to it, and the tree itself was attached to a shipe.)
(Next we see Tohka, Yoshino, and Kotori wearing their Astral Dresses gently falling and landing on the ground as they turn to the screen as it zooms to their faces.)
(Next we see three more Spirits falling and landing to the ground, as it zooms to their hair as we couldn't see their faces.)
(Next to appear is Origami and Mana wearing their Realizer suits, as it zooms to Origami's mouth and to Mana's face.)
(Next to appear is Kurumi wielding both of her guns as she is surrounded by her clones, as it zooms to her face as she is smiling and her bangs cover her eyes.)
(Next to appear is the Fraxinus crew as the screen zooms to Kyouhei and Reine's faces.)
(Next to appear is Isaac Westcott and Ellen Mathers, before it zooms to their faces but their eyes are covered as Isaac had a smile on his face.)
(Last but not least, Shido appeared as he wore his Flame Style Ring and scanned it on his Driver and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard, as the screens zoomed out as he transformed and showed his Ring, before it zoomed out further as his friends were standing beside him.)
(Fate subete wa hitsuzen? Hikare au you na deai (Deai). Tsunagaru sutourii) (In the city, Tohka was jumping off of her as her name appeared on screen before she runs forward and Yoshino and Yoshinon notice her running past as Yoshino was kneeling on the ground talking to her puppet friend as their names appeared one at a time and Yoshino soon stands up and followed Tohka.)
(Ne kono mune no kodou. Rikai dekinai nara (Up to you). Kono mama ochiteyuku dake) (Kotori was watching as she was leaning on a tree while enjoying her candy as her name appeared before she pulled her candy out and took her leave. Across the street, Origami was walking forward as her name appeared on screen. Then we see Koyomi, Rinne, and Mikie in Omokagedo talking to each other as their names appear, next we see Wajima bringing them some tea before he trips and falls as his name appears on screen.)
(Saa erande suriruna deto hajimemashou) (Kurumi was seen standing on top of a building as her name appears as she was looking up at an airship as its shadow appeared on the building. Shido was seen on street level as he was adjusting his Flame Ring before his name appeared on screen, and he soon noticed something flying in the air and saw it was the AST as they headed out to deal with a Spirit.)
(Hanasu tabi fureru tabi warau tabi mezamete. Ku kono omoi kesshite yuzurenai kara) (Next we see a flashback where Shido and Tohka were walking together as she was enjoying her kinako bread. Wizard was then seen riding his Machine Winger forward as the zooms out from his face, before it changes to Shido and his friends having breakfast together, and then they are setting up for a party with their classmates, and then to them looking at Tengu City on their favorite park. Soon following Wizard was Kotori and Yoshino with their Angels out as Kotori was flying above the Rider and Yoshino was riding on Zadkiel beside him. Then it changes to Shido and Tohka riding in a tram together as Tohka leans her head on his shoulder.)
(Hajimete konnani sunao ni soba ni itai to omou kimi ni deaetakara) (Then it changes to Wiseman along with his Phantom Generals, Medusa and Phoenix. Then as Wizard, Kotori, and Yoshino were moving forward, the Yamai twins flew above them forcing them to split up, next we see Miku riding on a road in the shape of a piano keyboard, next we see Mana flying above them. Next we see the silhouette of a new Kamen Rider and behind him was a giant lion with wings, and changes to the mysterious Phantom Sora as he was chuckling. Then Origami was seen clashing swords against Ellen.)
(Then finally we see the backside of an unknown Spirit that resembles Tohka as Wizard armed with Sandalphon stood in front of her.)
(Then we see Tohka falling towards Wizard as they grab each other's hand in a finger lock.)
(Shinjitaino Date A Live) (Tohka was smiling at Wizard and he was smiling under his helmet as he gently helped her land on her feet, and then the title appeared on screen as everything turned white behind it.)
On the Fraxinus, Kotori had received a call from Kizaki saying he wanted to talk. He soon appeared on the screen and told her some sensitive information he had just received himself.
"What? A squad of DEM soldiers will be joining the AST?" Kotori said in some shock and Kizaki nodded.
"That's right. From what I've heard they're supposed to be an independent squad that will act on their own orders given the situation the AST are in." Kizaki explained and Kotori hummed as she folded her arms.
"Well, that's certainly a surprise. I can't imagine the AST being too happy about this. But still, how many soldiers are we talking about?" Kotori asked.
"From what I could gather there's about ten of them. But they consist of DEM's best and brightest and the one whose leading them is Jessica Bailey, their best field commander." Kizaki said as he showed a profile of Jessica Bailey as it appeared on screen.
"Oh, her...I heard some pretty nasty rumors about her and most of them are not pleasant. They say that she's as ruthless as she is efficient when it comes to leading a squad and terminating a Spirit." Kotori said.
"True. But I think it was because of that is why DEM, or should I say Westcott, would send her here." Kizaki said. "But what really worries me is why they're here."
"You think they have another objective here?" Kotori asked and Kizaki nodded.
"Knowing, Westcott, that's always a possibility. But I have a feeling you can shed some light in that." Kizaki stated as Kotori narrowed her eyes on him.
"And what makes you say that?" Kotori asked.
"The incident in Arubi Island." Kizaki said and Kotori's fingers twitched to hear that.
"Yes, I did an investigation on what happened there. The original trip for the second years in Raizen High was to Okinawa, but it suddenly changed to Arubi instead. The corporation that sponsored that trip is owned by DEM. Then out of nowhere a massive hurricane appeared over that island, thankfully none of the students were injured. But if I were to hazard a guess, Itsuka Shido must have come in contact with a new Spirit while at the same time had an encounter with DEM as well. Was that spot on?" Kizaki asked.
"Well...I can say this, you really did your homework. Guess there's no point in hiding it now. Yes, Shido did engage in battle against DEM, but they weren't after the Spirit that appeared there, they were after Princess, Yatogami Tohka." Kotori told him and Kizaki was surprised to hear that.
"But why though? The official reports say she's a human and has no connection to the Spirit Princess? And why would DEM bother with just one Spirit, she may be a AAA-rank, but it doesn't make sense." Kizaki said and Kotori shrugged.
"Don't look at me. It's not like I know what they're planning." Kotori said.
"Well either way, now that we know that Princess is their main objective, it's not safe to keep her here in Tengu. I'll arrange a safe house and transport for her to leave as far away as possible." Kizaki said.
"Now hold on a minute there, buddy!" Kotori said as she stood up. "You're not going to do that. Ratatoskr's main duty is the protection and safety of all Spirits, and I'm not going to stand by and let you lock Tohka up against her will. And even if I agree to it, you know that Shido won't stand for it either."
"But this is a matter of national security for the country." Kizaki said.
"And protecting Spirits is my matter!" Kotori shouted as she stood her ground. "Look I understand you have your own duty to uphold, and I can respect that. But I have my own duty as the commander of Fraxinus, and if DEM ever comes back for Tohka, then I'll fight them."
"And if innocent people get involved in that battle, then what?" Kizaki asked.
"I won't let that happen. Me, my crew, and my brother will find a way. So just put your trust in me." Kotori told him.
Kizaki thought about it for a while before he sighed.
"Fine. It's not like I have the resources to fight DEM myself." Kizaki said and Kotori smirked to hear that. "But here's your first warning. If something were to happen because of this, then I'll have both you and your brother responsible for it. That's all I have to say."
Kizaki ended the transmission. Kotori sighed as she sat back down.
"Man...This is why I hate pushy men like him." Kotori mutters before she places a hand on her chin. "But still, he's right. Why would DEM bother with one Spirit? Is it possible...no, it can't be. They can't possibly know about it, and even if they did, Westcott can't possibly be that stupid."
(Meanwhile)
The students of Raizen High had all gathered in the school's auditorium where the trio Aii, Mai, and Mii gave a special announcement as they stood on the stage.
Aii with a mic in her hand raised her freehand.
"The results of this ruthless pole are in! I present the organizer of this year's Ten-oh Festival: Known to work 25 hours a day, 8 days a week, Itsuka Shido-kun!" Aii announced as a spotlight turned on above Shido which was most to his shock and dismay.
"Huh?" Shido said.
After that, Shido walked on the stage to give his argument about this decision.
"This has to be a setup!" Shido told them.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Aii said.
"Raizen's fate now rests on your shoulders! Don't worry. We'll let you rest in peace once you're dead." Mai said.
"Maji hiku wa." Mii said.
"That's my line!" Shido said as his profile of this announcement was on screen.
The students who've voted for them as gave a recommendation saying that:
'He'll do a good job,' and 'He has what it takes', and so on.
But the majority of the students who voted for him were mostly the male students due to certain reasons.
The male students who voted for him had a grin on their face as their plan to punish Shido had work.
"Serves him right."
"That's what he gets for always being lovey-dovey with cuties."
"He deserves it."
His friends Rinne, Mikie, and Koyomi felt sorry for Shido.
"Poor, Shido…" Rinne said.
"I wish I could take his place...but I don't think I'm cut out for it." Mikie said.
"Same with me." Koyomi said.
Tohka was confused as she wondered what this Ten-oh Festival was.
"You were a good friend, Shido." Tonomachi said.
"What is this 'Ten-oh Festival'?" Tohka asked her friends.
"It's a giant festival hosted by ten high schools in Tengu City." Tonomachi said as he continued to explain. "Every year, polls are held for three categories: booths, exhibitions, and performances. And the school that comes out on top gets to reign as the champion."
"The champion? That sounds awesome!" Tohka said as she was getting excited for this festival.
"And I agree, and the Ten-oh Festival is really fun. But Raizen has some tough competition." Rinne said.
"Rinne-chan's right. We've got Eibunishi High and Senjo University High. And of course you have to watch out for...the all time champion, Rindoji Academy for Women." Tonomachi said as he showed info about the said Rindoji on his phone and pulled some pictures of the students. "They've got the city's prettiest girls there to sell them. And they even have the Miku-tan this year, so they'll be tough to beat."
"Miku-tan?" Shido says in confusion as he walks to them and Tonomachi turns to him in shock.
"Seriously? You don't know the insanely popular mysterious idol, Izayoi Miku?" Tonomachi asked.
"No, I don't." Shido said.
"Jesus! I never knew there was a Neanderthal so close to me! I bet you're, like, the only person in Japan who doesn't know her." Tonomachi said as he pointed his finger at Shido.
"What'll you do if I find someone else who doesn't?" Shido asked.
"In that case, I'll gladly kneel and bow before you and eat spaghetti with my ass." Tonomachi said as he showed his butt and slapped it.
"Oh…" Shido said as he turned to Tohka. "Hey, Tohka. Ever heard of Izayoi Miku?"
"That's not playing fair, Itsuka-kun!" Tonomachi shouted.
"Well, leaving Tonomachi-kun aside, Rindoji has become quite popular in Tengu City. In fact, they've won last year's festival and the year before, so they'll be tough to beat for any school." Rinne said.
As they were talking, Origami was thinking of plans for herself and Shido for the Festival.
(Later)
The sun was beginning to set in Tengu City, and Shido was out doing errands with Yoshino.
"God, it's only day one and they're already working me to death. Thanks for coming by." Shido told her.
"It's okay. Tohka-san was starving back at home." Yoshino said.
At home Tohka was lying on the couch hugging her pillow as she was chewing on it while her stomach growled. She rolled around a few times before she fell on the floor.
Shido chuckles to hear that before the Spacequake alarms go off as both him and Yoshino stop walking.
"That's a spacequake alarm!" Shido said as the buildings and parking spots begin to move underground. "Kotori!"
"I'm on it. The Fraxinus will transport you there in a second." Kotori said and Shido knows what he has to do next after the quake appears.
(At night)
The Fraxinus soon teleports Shido to the area where the Spirit had appeared. Shido looks around to study the area as he adjusts his Ring.
"So, this is the place." Shido said as the Fraxinus' crew watched over him.
"The Spirit appears to be moving south from the epicenter of the spacequake. Hurry up." Kotori told him.
"Got it." Shido said as he runs to search for the Spirit, but stops as he hears something.
"...Kimochi chanto omoidaseru…"
"Is that...a song?" Shido said as he turned to a building which was the Tengu Arena.
"Let me sing you a song and let's sing along…"
Shido followed the voice inside as he entered the stage room.
"Ikusenman ni hirogaru hoshi wa...Hitotsubu hitotsuba nazukeru mitai ni…"
Shido then saw the Spirit singing on the stage of the building.
The Spirit was about his age and is without a doubt a beautiful girl. She has a voluptuous figure and smooth skin that has never missed maintenance. She has long bluish-purple hair in a hime cut, while the color of her eyes is light indigo.
Her Astral Dress is mainly yellow with blue and white ruffles covering some parts of her dress. She wears a yellow moon hair clip with a lily connected to the curve ends of the moon. White lilies and petals can be seen next to the moon hair clip. She also wears crescent moon earrings and a choker on her neck with a white lily attached to it.
Shido was left enchanted by both her beautiful voice and appearance.
"Is that...Diva?!" Kotori said.
"So you know about this Spirit?" Shido asked.
"Yeah. But she only appeared once, and that was six years ago. We hardly have any information on her powers. Stay on your toes when you talk to her." Kotori told him.
"Got it." Shido said as he walked down the stairs but stopped as he stepped on a can which rolled loudly as Diva heard it as she stopped singing.
"Huh?" Diva said.
"You idiot! What did I just say?!" Kotori asked.
"Sorry! It's just so dark here!" Shido said.
"Oh, did someone come to watch? Where are you? If you wouldn't mind, I'd really love to talk to you." Diva calls out as she looks for Shido but couldn't see him due to the darkness in the room.
(On the Fraxinus)
"Kotori!" Shido said.
"Okay. We'll tell you what to say. Move in." Kotori said as the choices appeared on screen. "Hold up. We need to pick a line."
The choices were:
1. I was just amazed at how beautiful you are.
2. Your voice was just...so pretty.
3. Nothing like a peek from down below!
"Cast your vote!" Kotori ordered the crew and votes appeared on screen.
Choice one had the most votes of four, two had two votes, and three had only one vote.
"Not bad. By the way, Kannazuki…" Kotori said.
"Yes, ma'am." Kannazuki said as he turned to her.
"Which do you prefer, the mountains or the seas?" Kotori asked.
"For a trip for you? Then I prefer the sea, where I'll get to see more skin." Kyouhei said without hesitation and that gave Kotori all she needed.
"Very well. I'll have you enjoy the fish feed travel package, then." Kotori said before she snapped her fingers.
Then two large muscular men wearing sunglasses grab onto Kyouhei's arms as they begin to drag him away.
"It wasn't me! I chose option two!" Kyouhei told her.
"What? Then who...?" Kotori asked.
"Oh!"
Kotori turned to the crew and saw Nakatsugawa raising his hand.
"That was me." Nakatsugawa said in some shame.
"Nakatsugawa!" Kotori exclaimed as she stood up.
Nakatsugawa soon stood up and bowed his head several times.
"I'm very sorry! Her voice just sounded familiar." Nakatsugawa told her.
Kotori blinks to hear that as it is clear what the option should be.
"Decide already!" Shido calls out.
"Oh, my bad. Go with number two." Kotori told him.
After hearing what he has to say and seeing that it is also the perfect choice for this Spirit, Shido soon walks on top of the stage behind Diva which she notices as she turns to him.
"Oh, thank you for coming all the way up here." Diva said as Shido walks to her. "Good evening. I'm…"
Shido then walks under the light under Diva showing his appearance to the Spirit.
"Hello there." Shido greeted her as he waved.
Diva's eyes slightly widened as she kept her smile.
"Huh?"
"I didn't mean to sneak around, but your voice was so beautiful."
The Fraxinus crew saw that Diva's parameters were beginning to drop.
"Love, mood, mental state, and all other parameters are sharply declining!"
"Bad choice. Let's try another one. Go for number one." Kotori instructed him.
"You look stunning. I really have no words." Shido said as Diva lowered her head.
Diva's parameters were declining even further and faster as they reached below the half-meter mark.
"The stats are falling even faster! She's beginning to hate Shido-kun!"
Shido begins to sweat when he hears that.
"Dammit, we'll just have to go with number three!" Kotori told him.
"Umm...Your view down below is umm…" Shido said as he quickly changed to his Defend Ring.
Diva then begins to shake in rage…
Now Diva's parameters are now in the danger zone as the alarms were going off.
"She likes him less than cockroaches!"
"But he didn't even finish saying it!" Kotori said.
Diva then begins to lift up her head as she leans backwards.
"H-Hey…" Shido said as he had his Defend Ring close to his belt.
Diva unleashed a sonic scream from her voice as it was heading towards Shido, and he quickly scans his Defend Ring on his belt.
[DEFEND, PLEASE]
Shido created a magic shield in front of him to defend himself from the sonic scream, but despite that he was being pushed back before he was sent flying and was about to fall off the stage, but managed to save himself by hanging on a cable.
"Now that was unexpected…" Shido mutters.
The Fraxinus crew soon lost the live footage as their cameras were damaged before it went dark.
"Shido!" Kotori shouted in worry as her lollipop fell out from her mouth.
"But still, did I really upset her by talking to her?" Shido mutters as he manages to climb up with his arms on the stage.
"That's strange." Diva said as Shido looked at her as she slowly moved towards him and soon looked down at him. "Why aren't you down there? Why aren't you dead yet? Please begone...from this stage, from this world, from the standalone universe, right this instant!" She said in pure rage and disgust as she glared at Shido.
"Come again?" Shido asked.
"Why are you talking to me? Don't get your spittle on me. Don't get your breath on me. Can't you see the air around you becoming more and more polluted?"
Shido sweat drops to hear that.
"Okay, rude?" Shido asked.
"You naughty, naughty boy...Can you tell me why I'm crushing your hand and sending you tumbling towards your demise? It's because the bottoms of my shoes are too good for lowly scum like you."
'Just what is up with this girl?' Shido thought.
An explosion heard appeared in the ceiling above them, thankfully the debris missed Shido and a barrier protected Diva from it.
Shido looked up and saw that it was the AST as they were flying above them as their sights were fixed on Diva.
"The AST!" Shido said in worry.
Diva then turns to them as well and soon smiles as her cheeks turn red.
"Oh, my! How wonderful! That's the spirit! Nothing like an excited audience!" Diva said as she disappeared and reappeared behind Origami. "Especially...My, oh my!"
Diva dodges a sword slash from Origami as she and teammates begin to attack her. They fired missiles at her which were unaffected as Diva whispers to Origami's ear.
"Say, dearie, why don't I sing a song for you?" Diva asked before she dodge another slash from before Diva protected herself with a barrier as they attacked her from all sides. "Why are you so mean?"
The AST continues to attack Diva but their weapons were almost useless against her barrier.
Watching them from a distance was Jessica and her team, as she wasn't impressed by this display.
"Look at them with their little toys. I'll finish this!" Jessica said as she charged in but soon noticed something in the stage Diva was on. "That's…"
"Shido!" Origami said as she saw him as well.
Shido was able to climb on the stage as he dusted his clothes.
"Man...that was a close one." Shido said.
The Fraxinus crew were able to get a live feedback on as they spotted Shido on the stage.
"Shido-kun is alive!"
"It's too dangerous now. Bring him back!" Kotori told them as Shido teleports in the Fraxinus.
Diva began to breathe in as she dismissed and unleashed a sonic scream which sounded like a song which pushed the AST back before Diva disappeared.
Ryouko was surprised to see that before she grits her teeth in frustration while the DEM wizards could only look at them in disappointment.
But then Jessica's attention went back to the stage as she saw that Shido is now gone.
(Next day)
Despite that it was a weekend, the representatives of Tengu's ten high schools were in a room together in a building to discuss the plans for the Ten-oh Festival.
Shido was with them as he was the representative for Raizen High. Shido yawns as he was still tired from last night.
"I don't even get weekends off…" Shido mutters as he remembers how he was forced into meeting.
(Flashback)
Aii, Mai, and Mii were in their classroom with instruments in their hands.
"We've got to rehearse for our performance, so be our rep for the meeting, okay?" Aii requested. "Don't worry. You'll have help."
(End of flashback)
Joining Shido in this meeting to represent Raizen High were Tohka and Origami as both girls held both of his arms.
"Hey! Stay away from Shido!" Tohka told her.
"That's what I should be saying to you." Origami told her.
Shido sighed as this is going to be another long day for him.
Soon the students of Rindouji had arrived, as were several of them, they were lined up in front and behind the students before their main representative walked into the room.
The other school representatives all smiled and cried out in awe at how beautiful she was.
But both Shido and Origami were in shock to see her as it was the Spirit known as Diva wearing a Rindouji uniform.
She was wearing a deep blue sailor outfit as well as a yellow flower petal hair clip that resembles the one she uses when wearing her Astral Dress.
Diva soon walks in front of the students representing their schools to greet them.
"Good morning. Thank you so much for coming today. I'm Izayoi Miku, the representative for Rindouji Girls School." Diva or rather Miku introduced herself.
"No way…" Shido mutters in shock.
Thankfully Miku didn't notice Shido during the meeting, or rather she didn't bother to notice him. Either way, Shido had contacted Kotori and told her what happened.
They were on board the Fraxinus with the crew and Nakatsugawa had brought out a picture on the screen.
The picture was a little blurry, but it had an idol singing on stage and there was no doubt in their minds that it was Miku.
"A friend of mine managed to film one of her secret concerts." Nakatsugawa told them.
"Izayoi Miku...I never would've thought she was a Spirit." Kotori said.
"This is Miku, huh? Do you know her?" Shido asked.
"Only by name at least." Kotori said as she brought out a profile of Miku's idol career, but there was nothing on it, just a name and her songs. "I've heard a few of her songs on TV. She made her debut about half a year ago. Her voice has been dubbed 'a drug for the ears'. All her songs have been huge hits, but her identity remains a mystery, she's yet to make a single public appearance. But despite that, people say that she's the second coming of Kazanari Tsubasa, Japan's former number one singer. When you talk about Spirits blending in, this girl blows Kurumi out of the water."
"Is there any chance that, like you, that Spirit-" Shido said as they both remember the Spirit in the Tengu City fire.
"'The Phantom.' We've given it a name." Kotori said as they now watch a video secretly taken in Miku's concert.
"So is there any chance she was a human who was given Spirit powers by Phantom?" Shido asked.
"It is certainly a possibility, but if she used to be a human, why would she trigger a spacequake?" Kotori said.
"Right. And we've got to figure out why the stats dropped so quickly." Shido said.
"I have a hypothesis that could explain that." Reine said getting Shido's attention. "Take a look at this."
Reine soon brings out a graph of Miku's mental state from last night.
"This is a trace of Miku's mental state from yesterday. Although it had dropped to zero after talking with you, it started rising rapidly the moment the AST showed up, and it peaked when she came in contact with Tobiichi Origami."
"Uh…" Shido said.
"According to the internet, Miku-tan despises men, and this concert was for women only. Rumor has it that she's even taken home some of her female fans, if you catch my drift." Nakatsugawa told them as he was blushing.
Shido flinches to hear that as he had a good idea what Miku's personality is like.
"I-Is she…" He mutters.
"Izayoi Miku may be a hardcore yuricon." Kotori said with a straight face.
"Then what do you expect me to do about her?!" Shido asked.
"Don't go jumping to conclusions." Kotori said as she snapped her fingers.
Like on cue, Kannazuki brought out a Raizen's girl uniform, Shiizaki brought out her make-up skit, and Minowa brought out two girls' wigs.
"Huh? What?!" Shido said as he did not like where this was going but before he could run, Kawagoe and Mikimoto grabbed onto his arms.
Kannazuki then slowly approaches.
"Calm down. There's nothing to be afraid of. Your legs might feel a little chilly at the beginning, but you'll love it in no time. I know what I'm talking about." Kannazuki said as Nakatsugawa brought out his camera before he smiled closely in front of Shido's face. "Just trust me."
"K-Kotori!" Shido shouted at his sister before she turned to him and gave him a thumbs up.
"Good luck...Onee-chan!" Kotori said with a smile.
(Next day)
Shido was in the men's restroom of Raizen as he was changing in one of the stalls.
"Remember, your mission is to approach Miku while everyone's setting things up for the festival." Kotori told him.
"You sure this is gonna work?" Shido asked as he put on a pair of black socks and a skirt.
"If Reine was correct, then yes." Kotori answered.
Shido was now wearing the school's sweater and added a pair of fake breasts underneath it.
"Don't worry. Our whole crew thinks you look stunning. You'll be fine."
Shido was applying some make-up on his face.
"Should've known it would have come to this…" Shido said as he put on a wig.
"Don't forget your voice changer." Kotori told him.
"Yeah, yeah." Shido said as he puts the voice change, disguised as a bandaid, on his neck and buttons up his shirt to hide.
Shido unlocks the stalls and opens it showing his disguise. Shido was wearing the Raizen High's girl uniform with a sweater, and the wig he was wearing is a long blue type with a flower clip on it.
"All right, time to go!" Shido said with a girl's voice and acting feminine.
Female Shido was standing in the hallway and in front of his classmates Aii, Mai, and Mii gave them the details on where his male persona was.
"So, uh...Shido-kun really had to go, so apparently I'm going to Tengu Square with you guys-I mean, girls." Female Shido told them and that only enraged the trio.
"That bastard!" Aii said.
"Sissy!" Mai said.
"Maji hiku wa!" Mii said.
"By the way, who are you?" Aii asks and Female Shido flinches as he tries to explain.
"I'm, uh, Shido-kun's distant cousin. My name is Itsuka Sh-Shidomi-I mean, uh, Shiori." Shido or rather Shiori told them, that is when Tohka walked up to him as she easily saw through the disguise.
"What are you doing, Shi-" Tohka started but Shiori stopped her by covering her mouth and quietly told Tohka.
"I need to hide my identity. Could you please just pretend I'm a girl?" Shiori asks as Tohka backs away from his hand.
"All right, I understand." Tohka said as she shook Shiori's hand. "Nice to meet you, not-Shido girl!"
Shiori and Tohka then notices something taking pictures of the Ringed Mage from behind. They soon saw it was Origami with a camera taking pictures of Shiori.
"Look over here. That's brilliant, Shiori...Just brilliant. Let's lose some of those layers." Origami told him as she continued taking pictures of Shiori as he backed away.
"P-Please! I don't like…" Shiori says as he backs as he was blushing before Origami lies on the floor and looks under his skirt.
"It's all right. Show me all of yourself." Origami said as she took pictures underneath Shiori's skirt.
Thankfully 'she' was wearing shorts, but that didn't help with his embarrassment rising right now.
"Wha…" Shiori mutters as he blushes as he slowly shouted. "No...NNNNNNOOOOO!"
(Later)
After Origami felt satisfied taking pictures of Shiori, he soon left the school and arrived at Tengu Square to make contact with Miku.
When 'she' arrived, the students from Tengu's ten high schools were preparing for the festival as they set up posters, stands, and other things. Shiori was walking up the stairs as Kotori told him where the Rindoji students were setting things up.
"Rindoji's setting up in Hall 1."
Shiori looks around for Miku and soon spotted her walking with her fellow Rindoji students.
"Found her! I'm going in." Shiori said as he quickly followed Miku.
Shiori had followed Miku to an area that was off limits as he opened the door and runned inside.
Unknown to Shiori is that someone was also following Miku.
That someone was the Phantom, Gremlin, in human form as he was hiding a wall.
"So that was the Spirit that Misa-chan told me about. She is certainly a cute girl." Gremlin said before he hummed in thought. "What should I do? I could try to capture or kill her to see if that would earn Misa-chan or Wiseman's favor. But then again, it would be dangerous to fight her without knowing what she's capable of, especially if the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai might be involved in this. What should I do?"
Gremlin tries to think of a plan and then places a fist underneath his hand.
"Oh I know! I should see what she's capable of first. And lucky for me, I know just the man for the job." Gremlin chuckles as he leaves to go get this man.
Shiori was now in the staging room and spotted Miku standing on stage as the Fraxinus crew were watching her as well.
"All right...It's now or never." Kotori said with a smile.
"Got it." Shiori said as he walked to the stage.
'She' then walks onto the stage as Miku turns to the disguised man and narrows her eyes.
"Hm?" Miku said in suspicion.
Shiori gulps as 'she' is now on edge before Miku smiles at him.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Huh? Whoa, dude…" Shiori said and Miku once again narrowed her eyes.
"Dude?" Miku said in suspicion.
"Shido, you idiot!" Kotori exclaimed.
"S-Sorry, I was just…" Shiori said as he raised his hands.
"You're such a funny girl." Miku said as she chuckled. "I like funny girls."
Shiori was left sweating as his mouth was twitching.
(In the Fraxinus)
The crew were measuring Miku's parameters and they were stable.
"Love and mood parameters are stable. We're looking good."
"I'm glad she's not afraid of tomboys. Keep talking like a guy, I guess." Kotori said before the choices appeared on screen.
1. You're Izayoi Miku-san, aren't you? Can I have your autograph?
2. What are you doing here?
3. Fancy selling me your panties for 30,000 yen?
"These are our options. Cast your votes!" Kotori told her crew.
The votes were in and choices 2 and 3 are tied in three votes.
"I could understand two, but why would you pick number three?" Kotori asked.
"It'd be creepy for a guy to say it, but it could be a way to build on that 'funny girl' character." Nakatsugawa explained.
Kotori hummed as she could the logic in that.
"It will also be a good chance to gauge Miku's boundaries." Kotori said.
"Are you serious?" Shiori asked as he wasn't sure about that choice.
"Remember, you're trying to be funny." Kotori told him.
While reluctant about it, Shiori might as well try and see what happens.
"Hey, Miku." Shiori said.
"Yes?"
Shiori forced a happy smile on his face.
"Fancy selling me your panties for 30,000 yen?" Shiori asked and Miku was surprised to hear that before she smiled and thought about it.
"Well, let's see...I don't take cash, but I will take yours as payment." Miku suggested and Shiori was surprised by that as he blushed.
"Wha...Huh?!" Shiori started as Miku chuckled, seeing his reaction as he stopped and slightly lowered his head.
"I'm just kidding. I think I'm the one who should be flustered." Miku said.
"S-Sorry about that. I was kidding, too." Shiori said.
Miku then walks to Shiori.
"Is your uniform…Raizen High's?" Miku asked as she placed a hand on Shiori's ribbon.
"Yeah, it is." Shiori answered as Miku played with the ribbon.
"Well, in that case," Miku said as she removed her hand and reached out for a handshake. "I'm Izayoi Miku, from Rindoji Academy for Women."
"Yeah, it's nice to meet you." Shiori said as he accepted Miku's handshake. "I'm Itsuka...Shiori."
"That's a nice name." Miku said.
(Back on the Fraxinus)
Miku's parameters are still stable and have slightly risen up.
"The numbers are looking good. Let's ask her a few questions." Kotori said.
"I thought this place was off limits. What are you doing here?" Shiori asked.
Miku turns around and walks forward on the stage.
"I just love being on stage." Miku answered.
"On stage?" Shiori said.
"Hai. People come solely to hear me sing. That's what I love about being on stage." Miku said as she turned back to Shiori. "Shiori-san, have you not heard of me?"
"What? I…" Shiori mutters as he wasn't sure how to answer that.
Miku chuckles as she walks to him.
"I'm sorry I confused you. Don't mind me." Miku said before she placed two fingers on her lips.
"The time we spent here…" She then placed those fingers on Shiori's lips. "Is our secret."
"R-Right…" Shiori said as Miku stared at his eyes.
"Okay, let's go back." Miku said as she walked to the exit.
"Right." Shiori said as he followed her.
But then Shiori trips on a wire and falls to the ground as wooden boards fall on top of him.
"Shiori-san!" Miku said in worry as she turned to Shiori.
Thankfully Shiori was alright as he sat up and removed the wooden boards off of him.
"I'm alright. Don't worry…" Shiori stops as he looks at his hand and sees it was injured.
Miku with a handkerchief in hand, knelt down to Shiori to wrap the handkerchief around his injured hand.
"Thanks." Shiori said as they stood up.
"It's quite alright." Miku said before she left as Shiori looked at the handkerchief on his hand.
After they left the staging room together, Shiori and Miku soon parted ways as Shiori walked to the stairs that lead down to the street.
"Good job. Now you made a good first impression with her." Kotori said.
"Yeah...But I still feel awkward wearing this outfit. I just hope I can seal her Spirit powers soon and get this over with." Shiori said before he heard screaming and turned to it as a group of students were running away as someone bumps into him as he falls to the ground. "Hey! What's wrong?"
"M-Monster!" He told him as he quickly stood up and ran away.
"Don't tell me…" Shiori said as he was about to move before he looked down at his disguise as his cheeks turned red, but knowing he didn't have time to change he ran to where this monster was. "Damn it! I wish they could've at least let me change first!"
The students continue to run away as a Phantom has arrived on Tengu Square as it moves forward.
The Phantom was colored red with black armor on his forearms and legs, and had the hands and feet of a lizard with large claws on the tips of the fingers and toes, lastly its head was a lizard's with a blue gem on the forehead and another on the chest.
This is the Phantom known as Salamander.
Salamander then grabs the neck of one of the students in the area as he lifts him up and brings his face close to his own.
"Where is she?! Where is the Spirit?!" Salamander demanded from the student.
"Spirit? I don't know what you're talking about…" He told the Phantom before he lifted him up even higher as he began to choke him.
"Don't you dare lie to me!" Salamander exclaimed.
Then a spun of a gun, silver bullets were fired as they headed towards the Phantom as they flew around the other people who were running away before they hit their mark on Salamander's body which forced him to drop the student as he stumbled away from him.
Salamander looked and saw it was Shiori who fired at him as he was armed with his gun and was wearing his Driver.
"Get to safety!" Shiori told the student before he ran away and Shiori and Salamander faced each other.
"You! So you're the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai!" Salamander said before he tilted his head in confusion after he noticed Shiori's appearance. "But wait...I thought you were a man."
Shiori flinches as he averts eye contact from the Phantom.
"Well...that's because...Look it's complicated, okay!" Shiori said as he flipped the switches on his Driver.
[SHABADOOBI TOUCH TO HENSHIN]
Shiori then puts on his Flame Style Ring.
"Henshin." Shiori said as he pushed down the Ring's goggles and scanned it on his Driver.
[FLAME, PLEASE: HI HI HI HI HI]
Shiori soon transforms into Wizard. It feels so good to wear his armor after wearing that skirt for so long.
"Saa, showtime daa." Wizard declared as he showed his Ring.
"Hmph! Well either way, it doesn't matter to me!" Salamander said as he charged at Wizard and the latter did the same.
Salamander attacks Wizard by slashing his claws at him a few times as Wizard dodges his attacks before he placed his gun in front of the Phantom's chest and soon fired on him
Salamander then fires fireballs from his mouth at Wizard, and Wizard quickly changes to his Defend Ring as he resets his Driver and scans the Ring on it.
[DEFEND, PLEASE]
Wizard brings forth a magic shield to block the fireballs. Salamander growls in frustration.
"So your magic power has indeed grown. But let's see how you'll handle these." Salamander said as he threw Ghoul rocks to the ground around Wizard as they grew and the Ghouls soon surrounded Wizard as they were armed with their spears and their arms as cannons.
Wizard then changes his gun to its sword mode before the Ghouls attack with their spear, Wizard parries their attacks and slashes on the Ghouls with his sword.
Wizard then dodges two Ghouls' spears heading towards his legs by flipping while landing a kick on them at the same time and slashes on them which destroy them as they explode.
Wizard then notices three Ghouls arming their arm cannons at him and is going to fire at him…
[CHAMELEO, GO: CHA-CHA-CHA-CHA CHAMELEO]
A golden tongue attacks them before it grabs hold of the Ghouls and destroys them by crushing them.
Wizard then saw that the tongue belonged to Beast wearing his Chameleo Mantle as he retracted the Mantle's tongue while devouring the Ghouls' mana.
"Nitou." Wizard said.
"At least some food for me, Shido." Beast told him as Salamander turned to him.
"The Inishie no Mahōtsukai too?!" Salamander said.
"And don't you forget it!" Beast said as he brought out his sword as Wizard moved to his side.
Then both Riders charge at Salamander.
"Grrr...destroy them!" Salamander ordered the Ghouls as they charged at the Riders and Wizard and Beast did the same as they battled against them.
Beast parries most of the Ghouls attacks with his sword as he lands a slash on each other them, and then some of the Ghouls had surround him and were ready to attack Beast, but then the Primordial Mage uses his Chameleo Mantle to turn invisible which made the Ghouls stop they attempted attack.
The Ghouls look around for Beast before the invisible mage lands a slash on each of them before Beast turns visible again as the Ghouls explode and then his Driver devours their mana.
Beast then notices another group of Ghouls firing their arm cannons at him and Beast dodges their attacks by rolling on the ground.
"Whoa! That was close!" Beast said as he stopped on his knee and foot.
Beast then spun the dice on his Saber and soon inserted his Chameleo as it stopped on the number five.
[FIVE: CHAMELEO SABER STRIKE]
Beast soon swung his sword which sent five energy Chameleons at the remaining Ghouls which soon destroyed them as they exploded as Beast's Driver devoured their mana.
Wizard is seen dodging the Ghouls attacks with his usual grace and skill while landing a slash on each of them and sometimes with a kick.
Wizard then dodges two Ghouls' spear thrusts and soon grabs onto their spears with his hand as he moves under the spears and pulls in the two Ghouls to kick them on the head which sends them to the ground.
Wizard soon changes to his Big Ring as he scans it on his Driver.
[BIG, PLEASE]
A magic circle appeared beside Wizard before he puts his hand into it as it grows into a giant hand before Wizard folds it into a fist before he swung his massive arm to the Ghouls around him destroying them as they exploded.
Wizard's arm return to normal size before he notices Salamander jumping at him to attack the Ringed Mage once again, and Wizard dodges and parries his attacks before he thrusts his sword at Salamander which he dodges in time as he lands two slashes on Wizard which forced him to stumble back.
Wizard soon stops stumbling; he then changes to his Water Dragon Ring and scans it on his Driver.
[WATER, DRAGON: Jabajaba Bashān, Zabun Zabun]
Wizard changes to his Water Dragon Style before he waved his arms around and pointed his sword at Salamander.
"Am I supposed to be impressed by that?!" Salamander said in a mocking tone as he charged at Wizard and attacked with his claws.
Wizard was able to dodge and parry his attacks before both him and Salamander clash attacks as they moved past each other. Salamander soon turns around to slash at Wizard's back and Wizard blocks it in time using his sword before he pushed Salamander's claws back as he turns to the Phantom and slashes him on the chest a few times and then lands a thrust on Salamander's chest which sends the Phantom flying backwards before he falls to the ground.
"Damn you…!" Salamander growls as he stands back up.
Wizard soon changes to his Blizzard Ring and scans it on his Driver.
[CHOINE, BLIZZARD: SAIKO]
Wizard soon unleashed his Blizzard spell at Salamander, and the Phantoms spew fire at the incoming blizzard to push it back as the two elements begins to clashed against each other, before Wizard's Blizzard spell begins to overpower Salamander's flames as the icy winds extinguish the flames and soon encase Salamander's body in ice.
Wizard then opens his sword's Hand Author.
[C'MON SLASH, SHAKE HANDS]
"Finale daa." Wizard then scans his Water Dragon Ring on his sword.
[WATER SLASH STRIKE: Jabajaba Bashān Jabajaba Bashān Jabajaba Bashān]
Wizard soon channels water around his sword as he sounds it in an energy slash at the frozen Salamander destroying him as he explodes.
"Whew." Wizard said.
"Dang it...beat me to the punch again." Beast said as he walked to Wizard as the latter turned to him. "At least save the Phantom for me next time."
"Sorry about that." Wizard said, and Beast then noticed that something was off with his voice.
"Also, Shido, is there something up with your voice? You almost sound like a girl." Beast said and Wizard flinched as he coughed and turned away from the Primordial Mage.
"Don't worry about it! I just have a sore throat!" Wizard said before he coughed in his hand. "Anyway, can you just go now! You're annoying me!"
Beast raised both of his hands.
"Okay...Sorry if I did anything." Beast said as he left while changing back into Nitou.
Seeing that he was now gone, Wizard sighed in relief as he placed a hand on his head.
"I swear...the last thing I need is him seeing me like this." Wizard mutters as he changes back into Shiori.
"Shiori-san?" A familiar voice calls and Shiori flinches as he recognizes it.
Shiori slowly turned his head around as he saw it was Miku as she looked a little surprised right now.
"M-M-M-Miku?!" Shiori gasped in shock.
"You were…" Miku said.
"Way to go idiot!" Kotori shouted in his ear.
"Sorry...It's not like I knew she was still here." Shiori told her.
'But she still saw me in my armor! What should I do?! What should I do?! What should I do?! What should I do?!' Shiori thought as he was panicking right now.
But then Miku grabs hold of his hand and Shiori turns to her as she has stars in her eyes.
"Oh wow! So you were Tengu's Kamen Rider!" Miku said and Shiori was surprised to hear that.
"Huh?" Shiori said in confusion.
"I mean, I did see a video of you once, but I thought you were a man in that armor so I've lost interest. But wow, to think it was a cute girl like you all this time and your armor was now nice and shiny with all those jewels." Miku said with a smile.
"Oh yeah? Thank you, I'm glad to hear that. Also, I get that a lot, the armor really makes it hard to tell if I was a girl or not. Hahaha…" Shiori nervously chuckles as he was relieved that Miku hadn't found him out yet.
'Thank goodness...I was almost worried there. But why does my dignity hurt all of a sudden?' Shiori thought.
Unknown to Shiori and Miku is that Gremlin was watching them in hiding.
"So, even Ryoto-kun was defeated by Wizard. Guess I shouldn't be surprised by that. But still..." Gremlin chuckles as he looks at Shiori's outfit. "It's still funny to him wearing that outfit! But I should probably leave before he notices me. I may have to come up with a new plan."
Gremlin soon leaves in his high speed.
(Later)
After parting ways with Miku and taking off his Shiori disguise, Shido had returned home as he was cooking hamburger steaks for dinner as Tohka, Kotori, and Yoshino were in the living room watching TV.
"Onii-chan, how're those steaks coming?" Kotori, wearing her white ribbons, asked as she watched him cook.
"Almost ready. Could you set the table?" Shido asked as he added some cheese and sauce on the hamburgers. "Man, it feels great to be cooking as a guy again."
Kotori, wearing her black ribbons, then moves close to him as she gives Shido a smug look on her face.
"Oh, really? Maybe you actually took guilty pleasure in cross-dressing." Kotori said.
"Like hell I do!" Shido denied.
"Anyhow, we're lucky you've got a reason to see Miku again." Kotori said as she looked at the handkerchief Miku had given to Shido as it was placed on the counter. "I heard that she has afternoon tea with her favorite girls once a week. That'll be your next mission."
"Right. I got it." Shido said before he heard music on the TV along with a voice.
"Here's Izayoi Miku, with Mermaid Love Story."
Shido then turns to the TV as it shows a silhouette of Miku singing as her back-up band plays their instruments.
Tohka and Yoshino greatly admired her song and music.
"It's a great song." Yoshino said.
Tohka soon stood up as she turned to Shido.
"I want to try doing that!" Tohka requested.
"Should we go do some karaoke, then?" Shido asked.
"I want to do the whacking thing!" Tohka said as she pointed at the drummer playing her drums.
"The drums, huh?" Shido said.
"Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!" Tohka sings as she pretends to play the drums like that drummer.
Shido and the others couldn't help but smile at her as she continued.
(Next day)
Shido, now wearing his Shiori persona, is now standing in front of Rindoji Academy as he was standing in front of the school.
Shiori then spotted a group of Rindoji students walking towards him.
"Here they come." Kotori said.
Rindoji students then spotted Shiori as they stopped walking as they looked at him in suspicion.
"Can I help you?" One of them asked.
"Um...I was talking to Miku-san yesterday at Tengu Square." Shiori answered.
"You're one of Onee-sama's fans?"
"Onee-sama?" Shiori repeated in confusion.
"Please leave. You're invading her private life-"
"Oh, Shiori-san!" Rindoji students turned around and saw Miku standing behind as she was smiling at Shiori.
"H-Hey." Shiori greeted Miku as he waved at her and Miku smiled at him.
After that, Miku had brought Shiori to a private room so they could enjoy some tea and snacks together.
Miku had prepared the tea as she poured it into two cups.
"Sorry, you shouldn't have. I should be treating you." Shiori said.
"That's quite all right. I just got a very nice brand of tea. I'm elated that you went out of your way to return my handkerchief." Miku said as her handkerchief was placed on the table.
"Weren't you supposed to have tea with those other girls? I'm really sorry." Shiori said.
"You've got nothing to apologize for. They're all very understanding sweethearts." Miku told him as she placed his teacup in front of Shiori.
Shiori nervously chuckles as he picks up the teacup and drinks it and is amazed at how good it was.
"Wow, this is amazing!" Shiori said and Miku smiled to hear that.
They then begin to have some baked sweets, and after that they were talking with each other as Miku laughs.
Then Shiori begins the details about his powers, on he's a mage who uses magic rings to transform and cast spells. When Miku asked what his relation with Beast was, Shiori flinched before he said that Beast was his servant which made Miku laugh.
Miku then asks what sort of spells he could use, Shiori told her that he could fly, control gravity, and can make pretty dresses if he wanted to.
Shiori then decided to show off some Spells by first using his Gravity Ring to levitate the tea set which really amazed Miku, and then Shiori soon brings out his familiars Garuda, Unicorn, and Kraken.
Unicorn and Kraken were on her shoulders and while she found them cute, Miku had found Garuda to be her personal favorite as the bird familiar was on her finger as Miku looked at it and rubs under Garuda's neck which it secretly enjoyed.
(On the Fraxinus)
The Fraxinus crew were watching both Miku and Shiori as the Ringed Mage was making good progress.
"Looking good. We might be able to seal her faster than we thought." Kotori said.
Time passed and the sun was beginning to set. Miku hummed as she looked at Shiori with a loving look on her face.
"You're exquisite. Truly one-of-a-kind." Miku said as Unicorn and Kraken moved off her shoulders and Garuda flew off of her finger.
"Huh?" Shiori said as Miku sat down beside him.
"Shiori-san, I think I like you!" Miku said as she leaned close to him. "Would you please transfer to Rindoji tomorrow?"
"What?!" Shiori said in confusion.
"If you're worried about money or grades, don't be. I can make arrangements." Miku told him.
"Hold up! That's not something I can do overnight!" Shiori said as he raised his hands as Miku grabs hold of the hand in a finger lock and leans closely on him.
Miku then whispers to Shiori's ear.
"Please!"
Shiori then felt something was off about her voice but thankfully it didn't affect him.
"I-I really can't…" Shiori told her and Miku was surprised to hear that.
"What?" Miku said as she saw the look in his eyes. "Shiori-san?"
"Wh-What's wrong?" Shiori asked.
"Please take off your clothes." Miku told him.
Shiori then felt it again.
'There it is again. Is she trying to use her powers on me?' Shiori thought before he smiled at Miku.
"Y-You must be kidding. Right?" Shiori asked.
"You really won't listen to me." Miku said as she let go of Shiori's hand and moved away from the Ringed Mage. "Are you perhaps...a Spirit instead?"
"What?" Shiori said.
"There's no need to hide it." Miku said as she stood up and walked to the large windows. "I had my suspicions about you after seeing you in that armor. I figured you weren't a normal human but I wanted to at least try to bring you under my control. So who are you?"
"A Spirit? A mage? Or are you with the 'Wizards' or those 'Phantoms' trying to kill me?" Miku asks as she looks at Shiori in suspicion.
'So she knows about the Phantoms too. Guess there's no point in lying if she figured me out.' Shiori thought before he stood up and answered her questions.
"Look I really am a Mage, but I'm not with the AST or with DEM. And I have no relations with the Phantoms either." Shiori told her.
"That's too bad. I don't like liars-" Miku said before Shiori interrupted her.
"But...I have the ability to seal a Spirit's powers." Shiori told her and Miku was surprised to hear that.
"Would you care to explain?" Miku asked.
"It's exactly as I said. I've sealed five Spirits so far. If you let me seal your powers, the AST will no longer pursue you, and you'll be able to live here in peace. If you can believe me...please let me save you." Shiori requested as Miku stared at her eyes.
"All right. I'll believe you." Miku said and Shiori smiled to hear that.
"Really?" Shiori asked.
"But there's no need to seal my powers." Miku told him.
"What?" Shiori said as Miku innocently smiled at him.
"Why would there be? I'm perfectly happy with my life as it is." Miku told him as Shiori was stunned to hear that.
On the Fraxinus, Kotori was on edge to hear that.
"Crap. Let's keep going." Kotori said.
"That can't be true. Miku, you caused a spacequake at Tatsunami Station recently. That's a sign that you lack full control of your powers." Shiori said.
"Oh, my. You know so much about me. I appreciate the concern, but it's quite unnecessary…" Miku said as she picked up a nearby rose from a flower vase. "Because I caused that spacequake...on purpose."
"What?" Shiori said in shock.
"I had never performed at Tengu Arena before, so when I passed the station, I was struck by the sudden urge to sing, and there it went." Miku said as she turned to the large windows and raised her arms up in the sky.
"That's it?" Shiori said as he tightly clenched his hand.
"What else would you have me do?" Miku said as she turned back to Shiori. "After all, I had to fulfill the urge."
"You could have killed your friends!" Shiori said.
"That would be unfortunate." Miku said.
"Wouldn't it?" Shiori asked with a smile.
"They do love me, though," Miku said as Shiori was stunned to hear that. "So I'm sure they would have been happy to die for me."
Shiori lowered his head as he gritted his teeth.
"Because they love you?" Shiori mutters.
"Calm down, Shido!" Kotori told him.
"Hai! They all love me so much! They'll do anything I say." Miku said.
Shiori then raised his head and told Miku this.
"I, for one, hate you." Miku narrows her eyes to hear that.
"Oh?" Miku hummed as Shiori pointed his finger at the Spirit.
"Your arrogance is absolutely revolting. If every last person in the world has no choice but to support you, I'll take the effort of seven billion...to deny you...and everything you do!" Shiori swore as Miku's eyes widened.
"Oh? Now that I know how you feel, I'm only getting more and more curious…" Miku said as the rose in her hand fell to the floor as she walked to Shiori while crushing the flower at the same time. "About how you will look with tears pouring down your cheeks, screaming, 'Oh, how I love you so!'"
As she was moving closer to him, Shiori fell on the couch as Miku placed her hands on his legs and brought her face close to his own.
"Are you ready to take the pain?" Miku asked.
"You'll never conquer me!" Shiori swore with a strong resolve in his voice.
"Then…" Miku said as Shiori gulps. "Let's play a game. If Raizen High places first on the first day of the Ten-oh Festival, I'll let you seal my powers." She said as she moved away from Shiori.
"The Ten-oh Festival?!" Shiori said.
"Hai!" Miku nodded. "I'll be performing for my school. I'm looking forward to seeing you on stage."
"That gives you an unfair advantage!" Shiori stated.
"Do you really think so? I think you should feel lucky that I gave you a chance at all." Miku said as she leaned to Shiori and began to play with his ribbon. "If Rindoji wins, you and all the Spirits that you sealed...will be mine. What's your decision? Do you give up?"
Shiori grits her teeth as he glares at Miku, and seeing that he doesn't have much of a choice here, he had no choice but to accept.
"Fine. I accept, but don't think that you'll win easily just because you have an advantage. I'm the kind of m-girl that turns despair into hope." Shiori told her and Miku smiles to hear that.
"In that case, I'm even more excited about it." Miku said.
(Meanwhile)
In the AST's base, Jessica had called Ryouko to the briefing room as she told the AST commander the details of tomorrow's operation.
"Are you serious?!" Ryouko exclaimed as she slammed the documents on the table.
"I can get you the signed documents if you insist." Jessica told her.
"Okay, you want to capture the Princess and the Kamen Rider. Fine. But why is there a human on the target list? And the operation is going to be held at the Ten-oh Festival in Tengu Square?! Are you telling me that you're going to fight a Spirit over a crowd of people?!" Ryouko asked.
"This is a ceremony. It's a formal greeting for our dearest enemy." Jessica told her.
"What are you talking about?" Ryouko asked as Jessica walked to the door. "Hey!"
"Oh, I almost forgot. Please keep this a secret from Master Sergeant Tobiichi Origami." Jessica told her.
"What?" Ryouko said.
"That's an order from above. If you've got complaints, take it up with them." Jessica said as she and her team left the room, leaving Ryouko still confused by all of this.
"I don't understand." Ryouko said as she turned to the documents and saw the human target's name. Itsuka Shido. "Itsuka Shido...I've heard that name. Isn't he...Origami's…"

(Sore wa sore wa hatenai tabi. Kimi wo sukuu yūsha no monogatari.) (The screen showed the starry night sky above Tengu City, and then it lowered to Wizard's back as he was standing before it moved to his face as Wizard raised his head as the sun rose in front of him.)
(Aru otogi no kuni Tabidatsu wa yūsha) (Next it changes to the park where Shido and Tohka had their first date, as we see two Wizards striking a pose in Flame Style and Flame Dragon Style before we Yoshinon holding the Water Style Ring appearing on the screen as it change the background.)
(Sōgen kakenuke Mezasu wa ohime-sama) (Next we see Arubi Island and show two Wizards in Water Style and Water Dragon Style striking a pose, and next Tohka appears as she wears the Hurricane Style Ring as the background changes.)
(Makkura na dōkutsu kaze fuki-areru yama koeteku) (Next we see it was night time in Tengu City as the screen showed DEM's Japan Branch, and two Wizards in Hurricane Style and Hurricane Dragon Style standing on top of another building striking a pose, before Origami appeared wearing the Land Style Ring as the background changes to Tenguu Square and showed two Wizards in Land and Land Dragon Styles also striking a pose.)
(Tsurugi wo kazashite) (Sandalphone appears as it changes the screen, as we see Shido wounded and kneeling on the ground with the very same Angel in his hands as he had in front of him)
(Hitomi ni utsuru yūki no honō) (As Shido's powers healed his wounds, he looked up and stood on his feet.)
(Yami no te wo furi-harai kimi no te wo nigiru) (Next we see two hands appearing as they reach out and grab onto each other in a fingerlock and a brought light appears between them as it changes the screen white.)
(Ima datte yume datte tsurugi wo te ni. Kimi no koto mitsukeru yo yami wo saite. Taore tatte tsuraku tatte makenai kara. Kono te wo gyutto tsukamaete) Then it changes to a black sword floating in the starry night sky as the screen moves down, as it did the Yamai Twins appeared, then changes to Kotori in her commander outfit licking her candy, then we see Miku smiling at the screen, then change to Yoshino and Yoshinon smiling as well. Next Tohka appeared on screen but she was wearing a dark and different Astral Dress and had an expression that made it seem like she was a different person. Next we see Kurumi's face appearing on screen as she moves away from it.)
(Kienai yūki no honō ga (Dead or Alive) (Then as Kurumi fades away, flames appear out of nowhere as it covers and changes the background.)
(Sekai terashite-iru) (It changes to Tohka and Shido standing on a beach as they watch the setting sun while holding hands.)
