Spell 22: Big Sister and Little Sister

Medusa parries the attacks from the four Wizards and Beast before they surround the Female Phantom.

"How about giving up on the Gate?" Wizard asked.

Medusa chuckled and answered.

"Fine. Just this once." Medusa then extends the length of the snakes on her head attacking Wizard, his clones, and Beast creating a large explosion as Wizard and Beast falls to the ground the Wizard clones disappeared.

"Shido!" Tohka said in worry and the others were worried as well.

Medusa chuckled as she flicked her snakes. Medusa then sets her sights on the Gate and walks to her.

Tohka and Kaguya moved in front of her to protect Takako while Yuzuru and Miku knelt down to Takako and Mayu.

Mayu stares at the Phantom that was once her sister before Medusa changes to her human form before she smiles at her.

"I'm glad to see you, Mayu." Medusa said to her, and Mayu smiled.

"Misa-chan. So it is you, Misa-oneechan." Mayu said as she stood up and was about to run towards before Yuzuru stopped her by grabbing onto her.

"Warning: No! That's a Phantom!" Yuzuru said.

"Let me go!" Mayu demands as she struggles to break free.

"Danger: It's not her! She's dangerous!" Yuzuru said.

Medusa then turns around and walks away.

"See you again." Medusa told her as Mayu watches her leave and soon calls out to her.

"Wait! Misa-chan! Misa-chan, wait!" Mayu shouted but her pleas were ignored as Medusa continued to walk away.

(Instrumental) (As the song begins both of Wizard's Style and Dragon Rings floating in a dark space, and images of Shido and his friends appeared in each of them before a new and unknown Ring appeared between all of them.)

(Zutto hikari no naka kinō made wa nakatta ashiato o tadotte kita hodo) (The scene changes to Shido wearing his Flame Ring smiling and appearing close to him were Tohka, Koyomi, and Yoshino, then it changes to Nitou carrying his bag and wearing his Beast Ring and appearing close to him were Kotori, Rinne, Mikie, the Yamai Twins, Miku, Origami, and Kurumi before flashes of Shido, Nitou, and the Spirits changing form and ready for battle.)

(Gōru no mienai meiro ame ni utareta chizu kōkai mo nani mo nai kedo) (Then it changes to silhouettes of Wizard's Style Forms and Beast wearing his Mantles appeared one at a time before it changes to the PlaMonsters heading towards Wizard who was standing on his favorite park looking at Tengu City before he turns to the screen.)

(Sakenda koe wa) (The scene changes of Shido standing in an area of Tengu city as images of his life appeared, and then to Tohka in a different area as images of her life appeared as well.)

(The screen changes showing Tengu City and its famous landmarks.)

(Kitto todoku kara) (Next Yoshino and Koyomi appeared as images of their lives appeared, then Origami and Mikie appeared with images, then to Rinne and Koyomi, then to Kurumi and Miku, and finally Nitou)

(Then changes to Shido and his friends were about to take a group photo before Nitou suddenly wraps his arm around Shido's neck surprising both him and the others as the camera took the photo.)

(Kono monogatari no hajimaru kane no ne ga tsunagu tabi no tochū de) (The changes to Wiseman and standing next to him were Medusa and Gremlin, while Gremlin had a sinister smile on his face as he hid it. Then we see Shido and Nitou turning to them as an army of Ghouls were approaching them and they soon transformed into their Kamen Rider forms armed with their weapons and appeared next to them were the Spirits wearing their Spirit Armor armed with their Angels before they charged at the Ghouls.)

(Kimi ga egaita mirai no sekai wa itsuka no sora ni michibikarete) (Wizard was seen clashing swords against Gremlin before the two entered a bladed lock, then it changes to Beast fighting against Medusa before it changes to the Spirits each throwing an attack at the Ghouls.)

(Futatsu no omoi o hitotsu zutsu katachi ni shite kiseki o motto koete) (Then it suddenly changes to Koyomi falling into a dark abyss and saw Wizard had entered the abyss as he reach out to her and she does the same, and when the two hold hands a flash of light had appeared between them. Then it changes to Wizard and his friends standing in front of a large door as it opens revealing a bright light, his friends are giving him smiles of encouragement as Wizard smiles back at them as he enters the light.)

(Kimi ga egaita mirai no sekai wa ima mo dokoka de ikitsudzukete) (Then scenes of Shido meeting the Spirits and helping them appeared and each of them ended with them kissing them before it changes showing a dark sky with an eclipse appearing and a giant magic circle appeared in Tengu City)

(Don'na yume kasanete itsuwaru koto no nai ano hikari o) (Then the screen showed flashes of Wizard's battle thus far with flashes of his friends smiling appearing as well, before it changes to Shido shedding a tear as it falls and when the tear lands on his hand it transforms into a new Ring.)

(Ahh…on give for my way) (Then it changes to Shido standing side-by-side with his friends as the sun rises behind them. Then changes to Wizard's sword stabbed on the ground with the sun shining above it.)

After Medusa had retreated, Shido had contacted Koyomi, Rinne, and Mikie and told what happened.

Nitou along with Mikie were escorting Takako back home to protect and her family in case Medusa or any other Phantom attacks her.

"Leave it to me. It'll be fine!" Nitou told the Gate.

"We'll explain things to your parents." Mikie assured her as well.

"Yeah, like you can properly handle a big job like that!" Nitou stated.

"Huh?! Nitou-san, you better properly protect her in Shido-san's place!" Mikie said, taking offense to that, Nitou grabs onto Mikie's arm and pulls her close to him.

"I'm not Shido's substitute! Don't get things confused!" Nitou told her.

"You probably have some ulterior motive anyway!" Mikie stated.

"What are you saying?! I'm totally not thinking about watching the Gate to wait for the Phantom!" Nitou said.

"See, you said it!" Mikie said.

"What?!" Nitou asked.

Takako took a moment to stop as she watches Mikie and Nitou argue with each other as she didn't feel too sure about this arrangement.

(Meanwhile)

Shido and the others had brought Mayu to the antique shop as she was seated on a couch with Shido and the Yamai twins were seated on the other couch with their friends standing close to them while Koyomi was standing behind the counter.

Wajima then gave Mayu a cup of tea as he placed it on the table.

"Here you go." Wajima said before he stepped away.

"Have you calmed down?" Kotori asked.

"I'm still a bit bewildered." Mayu answered with her head down.

"Can I ask you something?" Kotori asked, Mayu slowly raised her head and nodded.

"Hai."

"We heard your parents are missing. Do you know something about it?" Kotori asked, and Mayu shook her head.

"Not a thing." Mayu said as she lowered her head. "It happened while I was abroad."

"And you've been at the school since you returned?" Kotori asked.

"They said it was dangerous for me to live alone. So my relatives recommended that I stay in the school's dorms. Plus, it was painful for me to be alone at home." Mayu told them.

"Mind if I ask you about your sister?" Shido asked.

"Yeah. What was she like?" Kaguya asked.

Mayu sadly smiles at them.

"Misa-chan…was very kind." Mayu said before she grabbed onto the keychain on her bag and showed it to them. "I was shy, but she'd always help me."

(Flashback)

In her home, Mayu was seated on a couch reading a magazine showing an ad about traveling abroad where it said.

'Travel abroad early to change yourself! Grab the chance while you can!'

While she wanted to go and study abroad, Mayu sighed in reluctance.

"What's wrong, Mayu-chan? Why all the sighing?" Her mother asked as she placed a cup of tea on the table.

"You still can't decide?" Her father asked.

Mayu hummed before she spoke to her parents.

"I want to go, but…I'm worried about getting used to living abroad. And…"

"And?" Her father said.

"I'll be separated from you all." Mayu told them.

That's when her twin sister, Misa, had arrived as she walked to her sister while holding a familiar item in hand.

"It'll be okay, Mayu. Don't worry." Misa assured her before she showed the item in her hand which was the same keychain Mayu would use today.

"What's this?" Mayu asked before she grabbed onto the keychain.

Misa then pointed the chibi family members on the keychain.

"Papa, Mama, as well as myself and Mayu. We'll always be together." Misa told her.

"Misa-chan." Mayu said before her elder twin sat down beside her.

"This is a precious chance, so you can't give it up. Whether it'll be a beginning or an end is up to you. But we'll always cheer for you wherever you are." Misa said as their parents smiled in agreement, and Mayu smiled before she hugged her sister.

"Thanks!" Mayu said as Misa smiled and hugged her as well before she stroked the back of her head.

(End of flashback)

After hearing that story, Yoshino was moved to tears as she tries to wipe them away while Yoshinon pets her on the head.

"There, there, Yoshino." Yoshinon told her.

"What a good sister." Wajima said.

"That's why…when I heard Misa-chan, Papa, and Mama disappeared…I was really shocked. But…" Mayu said.

"You were able to continue doing your best, thanks to your sister's encouragement." Shido concluded.

Mayu nodded as she was now on the verge of tears.

"I thought that if I didn't give up, I'd be able to see them again someday. But…" Mayu said before she lets go of her precious treasure as tears begin to fall on her eyes. "I can't believe Misa-chan is…"

As Mayu continues to weep both Kaguya and Yuzuru stood up before they sat down to the grieving Mayu and hugged her in comfort.

(Later, at night)

Night had soon arrived in Tengu City. Inside of the vacant home of Mayu's family, Medusa was in the living room as she was lying on the couch. Then something flew through the opened back door as the curtains were blown by the wind.

Medusa looks before a familiar voice calls out to her.

"So this is Misa-chan's house." Medusa looked up and saw Gremlin standing on the stair balcony.

"What do you want?" Medusa asked.

"I can't believe Misa-chan has a little sister. I bet that wasn't in your plan!" Gremlin said before he playfully pointed his finger at her.

"Indeed." Medusa agrees with him for once before he smiles at her.

"What'll you do…" Gremlin said before he jumped down at high speed. "Next?"

Gremlin then skips forward.

"I'll help you out if you want to modify your plan." Gremlin offered before he stopped and turned to her.

"Then you can drive that Gate to despair." Medusa offered.

"Why?" Gremlin asked as he leaned on the couch's armrest. "I thought you were doing that yourself, Misa-chan."

"It's…fine…" Medusa said which left Gremlin a little curious.

After Mayu had calmed down, Shido and his friends had brought Mayu to the Spirits' dorm and brought her to one of the vacant rooms as he turns on the light and walks inside with Mayu following him.

"Come in. Feel free to use this room." Shido said. It was a simple room with a bed and a desk.

"Thank you for all you've done." Mayu told him.

"Don't worry about it. Alright." Shido said before Mayu placed her bag and scarf on the desk. "Good night."

Shido was about to leave the room, but Mayu soon spoke to him.

"Ah, ummm…" Shido stops and turns to her before Mayu asks the Ringed Mage a question. "Is there a way to return Misa-chan to normal?"

"Eh?" Shido said in confusion before she lowered her head.

"I was thinking…Maybe Misa-chan is still alive in the Phantom." Mayu said.

"Phantoms are only using the Gates' memories." Shido told her.

"But…I'm just saying, what if…" Mayu said.

Shido was silent before he spoke.

"Well…" But then Mayu turns away from him.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to ask an awkward question." Mayu said as she took off her jacket and sat down on the bed.

"Alright then. Take your time and rest." Shido told her before he left the room and closed the door.

Now that she was finally alone, Mayu placed her face on the pillow as she began to weep once again.

Shido soon returned to his house as he entered the living room where his friends were waiting for him.

"How is she?" Kotori asked.

"She's still a bit shaken up, but I think she'll be alright." Shido said.

"I guess that's all we can hope for right now." Kotori said as she rubbed the back of her head.

"Yeah. I'm really glad that you offered her a room in the Spirit dorm." Shido said, and Kotori smirked and shrugged.

"Well, it's not like we can just send her to her school's dorm late at night. So I didn't see the harm of allowing a single exception." Kotori said, and Shido smiled to hear that.

"But still, I'm worried. You don't think Medusa will come after her?" Kaguya asked.

"Doubtful. I mean if Mayu-chan was a Gate, she would have attacked her as well." Shido said.

"Concern: That might be true, but still…" Yuzuru said.

Shido then smiles at the Yamai twins.

"You two are that worried about her?" Shido asked, and Kaguya flinched.

"What?! Of course not! But we can understand given that me and Yuzuru are twins ourselves." Kaguya said as she folded her arms. Yuzuru sighed to hear that.

"Tiresome: You really need to be honest with yourself, Kaguya." Yuzuru said.

"What was that?!" Kaguya said before their friends chuckled at them.

Shido then thought back to Mayu's question about returning Misa to normal and if she was still alive in Medusa's body.

'I really hope that nothing goes wrong tomorrow.' Shido thought.

(Next day)

It was now morning in Tengu City. Nitou was forced to camp outside in front of Takako's house due to the poor explanation he gave to his parents, but thankfully they allowed Mikie to live in a guest room for the night.

Nitou was warming up some tea to drink.

Mikie soon walks out of the house as she yawns and stretches out her arms.

"Man…look at you. Getting to sleep in a nice warm bed while I was forced to sleep outside." Nitou said in some jealousy before he began pouring the tea in his cup.

"Sorry, Nitou-san, but you did give-." Mikie said before Nitou stops her.

"Oh! Say no more! Your poor explanation is why I'm sleeping outside." Nitou said, Mikie laughed before she took his cup out of his hands.

"Wrong!" Mikie said before she flicked her hand and the cup on the handle as it was still hot. "It's because of your mayonnaise lecture, Nitou-san!"

"Huh?" Nitou said.

Mikie then blows on the tea and drinks some of it.

"Hmmm…good tea." Mikie said.

"Hey, give that back!" Nitou said before he took the cup back and they soon began to argue.

Then Reine and Kotori soon left the house with Takako following them. They were posing as detectives to explain things properly to her parents.

Kotori then calls out to Nitou and Mikie.

"Why are you two fighting?!" Kotori asked as she stopped close to them before they turned to her and the others.

"Oh, Kotori-chan, Reine-san." Nitou said before he stood up.

"We've talked with her parents. Come on, we better hurry to Omokagedo!" Kotori said as she, Reine, and Takako began to move.

"Yes, ma'am!" Both Nitou and Mikie responded as they were about to follow her.

But they soon stopped as a group of Ghouls had appeared before them.

"They're here!" Mikie said as she and the others backed away as the Ghoul slowly approached them.

Nitou smiles as he steps forward and faces the Ghouls.

"Looks like the enemy got up a bit earlier than us." Nitou said as he put on his Beast Ring. "Looks like I'm up!"

Nitou charges at the Ghouls and scans his Driver On Ring on his belt.

[DRIVER ON]

Nitou jumps and kicks on Ghoul before he dodges two Ghouls' attacks and slams his knee on the second one. Nitou then sees another Ghoul attacking behind him which he dodges in time, Nitou then headbutts on Ghoul but he ends up hurting himself in the process.

"Itai!" Nitou said before the Ghouls surround him, and he soon inserts his Ring into his Driver. "Henshin!"

[SET, O~PEN! L-I-O-N: LION]

Nitou roars as he charges at the Ghouls in front of him as he transforms into Beast. Beast parries one Ghoul's attack and kicks one of them, he then throws the first Ghoul to the ground and rolls over it.

"It's breakfast time!" Beast declared as he continued to battle the Ghouls.

(Meanwhile)

Shido along with Tohka, Rinne, Yoshino, the Yamai twins, Miku, and Mayu were having breakfast together in the Itsuka house.

"Hmmm…So good. Isn't Shido's cooking the best, Mayu?" Tohka asked.

"Hai. It's better than anything I can make." Mayu said, and Shido chuckled to hear that.

"Well, I wouldn't say that." Shido siad.

"Oh come now, Darling, there's no reason to be so humble." Miku told him.

Mayu then heard her phone ringing.

"Sorry, I'll get that." Mayu said before she pulled out her phone from her bag.

Mayu then saw she received a message before she opened it and was soon surprised to see it.

"Eh?"

"What's wrong?" Rinne asked.

"Oh, it's nothing." Mayu told them as she turned off her phone. "Ummm…I'd like to return to the dorm. Is that okay?"

"Huh?" Shido said before she stood up and picked up her bag and jacket.

"I just want to be alone. I need to think about Misa-chan and other things." Mayu told them.

"I suppose that's okay…but…" Tohka said.

"How about I go with you just in case?" Shido offered before he stood up.

"Oh, it's fine. I can make it back on my own." Mayu declines before she leaves the house.

"Eh, wait!" Shido said as he was about to follow but stopped as he heard his own phone ringing before he brought it and answered it. "Kotori?"

Mayu soon leaves the house and quickly moves to a spot where she'll have some privacy. Unknown to Mayu is that Kaguya and Yuzuru were spying on her.

Beast and the others had moved to a parking lot building as the gold Rider continued to battle the Ghouls.

Beast parries one Ghoul's attack before he parries the next one's attack and rolls on its back and kicks on it before he battles against some more Ghouls while Kotori, Reine, and Mikie were leading Takako to safety, but then jumping down in front of them was Gremlin in his Phantom form.

Gremlin then leaned on the wall and waved at them.

"Hello~" Gremlin greeted them.

Kotori then grabs onto Takako's wrist.

"Let's go this way!" She said before she and the others runned into the parking lot building and quickly ran up the stairs.

After Beast slams his knee on a Ghoul's head, he soon sets his sights on Gremlin who slowly follows Kotori and the others.

"Hey!" Beast said before he pulls out his sword and uses it to attack and destroy the remaining Ghouls around before his Driver devours their mana.

"Wait!" Beast calls out as he charges at Gremlin.

The green Phantom turns to the charging Beast before he dodges his sword slash, Beast then thrust his sword at Gremlin followed with a kick, but he dodges his first attack and avoids his kick by rolling on the ground before he stood up and faced the gold Rider.

"You're today's main dish!" Beast declared. Gremlin playfully waved his fingers at him.

"Just try to eat me!" Gremlin told him with a playful tone which annoyed Beast before he charged at him.

Shido raced down to where Beast was battling Gremlin before he brings out his Flame Ring as his Driver begins to sing.

[SHABADOOBI TOUCH HENSHIN]

"Henshin." Shido said before he scans the Ring on his Driver.

[FLAME, PLEASE: HI HI HI HI HI]

Shido drives the magic circle to transform into Wizard.

Mayu soon arrived at a park that was close to her school's dorm before she hides behind a stone wall and brings out her phone to read the message she got, and it was from Medusa.

"Mayu, you're the only one who can save me. Return to our home alone. Misa."

Medusa was still lying on the couch inside Mayu's old home.

Mayu then begins to move to her old home where Medusa was waiting for them. Unknown to her is that the Yamai twins were secretly following her as they hid behind a tree as they were spying on her.

"Okay, something is going on here." Kaguya concluded and Yuzuru nodded in agreement.

"Agreement: It appears so. We should continue following her." Yuzuru said before they once again followed Mayu once again.

Gremlin dodges Beast's next slash by jumping over his sword before dodging another slash from him.

"Can you catch me?" Gremlin asked as he playfully spun around.

"Ah mou!" Beast said before he charges at Gremlin to attack him again, but the green Phantom dodges by moving at high speed. "Huh?"

Gremlin then appeared in the other exit behind Beast.

"Over here! Over here!" He calls out as Beast turns to him.

"Over there?!" Beast said as he charges to attack but stops as Gremlin runs in the building. "Huh?"

Gremlin then jumps down on the ground behind Beast before they turn at each other.

"I said I'm over here!" Gremlin waved at him before he sank into the ground like it was water.

Beast looks at the ground to look for Gremlin before he appears in the wall of the building.

"Over here!" Gremlin calls out before Beast turns to the green Phantom as he jumps down and lands a kick on his chest forcing Beast to fall on his knees.

Beast looks up at Gremlin who was hanging on the edge of the parking lots' second floor.

"Stop trying to run away!" Beast exclaimed before he jumped at Gremlin to attack, but Gremlin kicked on him again, sending Beast back to the ground.

Gremlin chuckles before he climbs up the building and lands on a certain floor where Kotori and the others had arrived as they stop as Gremlin was now standing in front of them before the green Phantom turns to them.

"We meet again!" Gremlin said before he chuckles.

Wizard, armed with his gun, had soon arrived as he moved to Gremlin and his friends before he fired at the Phantom landing some good shots which forced Gremlin to move away from them.

Wizard then stops in front of his friends as he faces Gremlin.

"About time you showed up!" Kotori said with a smile.

Beast soon arrived as he ran up the stairs.

"Sorry, sorry!" Beast said as he pushed his friends aside and moved close to Wizard and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hey! When did you get here?!"

"Huh?" Wizard said as he turned to Beast.

"Oh, looks like you're together." Gremlin said as he stood back up and leaned on the wall with his hand.

"Move it." Wizard told Beast before he pushed him away and stood off his bike.

"Damn. You didn't need to come." Beast told him.

"I was worried about leaving you alone." Wizard stated.

"No need to worry!" Beast said before he charges at Gremlin.

Wizard soon changes to his gun's sword mode and charges at Gremlin as well.

Gremlin chuckles before he brings out his twin swords and charges at the Riders.

Gremlin parries Beast's attack first and does the same with Wizard's own attack, Gremlin then dodges an incoming attack from Beast by rolling on the ground.

As he stands up, Gremlin blocks both Wizard and Beast's swords before he lands a slash on both of them, sending both Riders rolling on the ground.

"No need to worry, you say?" Wizard said as he and Beast stood up on their knee and foot.

"Shaddup!" Beast told him.

Both Wizard and Beast change Rings, with Wizard he changes to his Hurricane Ring and Beast changes to his Buffa Ring.

Wizard scans his Hurricane Ring on his Driver, and Beast inserts his Buffa Ring into his Driver.

[HURRICANE, PLEASE: FU FU FU FU FU FU]

[BUFFA, GO: BU-BU-BUBUBU BUFFA]

Wizard changes to his Hurricane Style and Beast now wears his Buffa Mantle. Then both Riders assume their stance before Beast charges at Gremlin by sliding on the ground with Wizard following by flying like a tornado.

Beast slams on and sends Gremlin above the ground and Wizard slashes on the green Phantom before he rolls on the ground before he stops on his knee and foot.

Both Wizard and Beast turn back to Gremlin before they charge to attack him once again as he stands back up. Just as both Riders throw an attack at Gremlin, the green Phantom jumps over them and lands onto the steel beams on the wall and ceiling.

Wizard and Beast turns back to Gremlin who hummed in thought.

"This is kind of unsatisfying." Gremlin said in disappointment.

"You're pretty relaxed considering you have two opponents!" Beast said.

Gremlin then chuckles.

"Let me drop you a hint to make this more exciting." Gremlin told them.

"Eh?" Wizard said in confusion.

Both Kaguya and Yuzuru continue to secretly follow Mayu for a while.

"Just where is she going?" Kaguya said.

Just as Mayu turns to the corner, then appearing around the Yamai twins are a large group of Ghouls as they surround them.

"Ghouls?!" Kaguya said in shock to see them.

"Shock: Where did they come from?" Yuzuru said before the Ghouls slowly approached them.

Mayu soon arrives at her old family home as she opens the gates and walks to the door.

Unknown to Mayu is that a second party had been following her, and it was the White Wizard's familiar Kerberos as it was jumping on the ground before it jumped onto the stone pillar beside the gate.

The three-headed dog familiar barks as it watches Mayu.

Inside the house, Medusa could hear the door opening as Mayu entered the house. She then walks to the living room entrance where she spotted Medusa on the couch, Mayu then walks into the living room as she stares at the Phantom that was once her sister.

"Misa-chan!" Mayu said before Medusa sat up and greeted her.

"I've been waiting for you. I knew you'd come, Mayu." Medusa told her.

Mayu falls further into her deception as she moves closer to Medusa.

"It's you, Misa-chan. I knew it!" Mayu said as she dropped her bag and coat.

"That's right. It's your big sister." Medusa said as she offered Mayu a hug.

Now completely fooled by Medusa, Mayu smiles in happiness as she hugs the female Phantom who hugs her back.

"I knew your soul was still there!" Mayu said.

Medusa smiles before she strokes Mayu's head just like Misa would do.

"It's thanks to you, Mayu. Seeing your face brought back all these memories." Medusa said before Mayu looked up at her.

"Then you'll return to normal, Misa-chan?" Mayu asked.

"Perhaps. Maybe if I remembered more…" Medusa said, and Mayu soon had an idea.

"Then…" Mayu soon unhooked her keychain from her bag and showed it to Medusa.

Medusa looks at the keychain before she grabs hold of it.

"You gave that to me, Misa-chan. Do you remember?" Mayu asked.

"This is from when you went abroad." Medusa said.

"That's right! This is what helped me continue. It was my emotional support!" Mayu said before Medusa turned back to her. "I believed that if I didn't give up, I'd be able to see Papa, Mama, and Misa-chan again! That's why…I'm so happy!"

Medusa smiles at Mayu.

"I'm also happy." Medusa said before she dropped her act and removed her smile. "I know what your emotional support is."

"Eh?" Mayu said in confusion.

As the winds blow on the curtain doors, Medusa sinister smiles at Mayu.

"With this, I'll be able to drive you to despair." Medusa said, further shocking Mayu to her core.

"What?!" Wizard said in shock about what Gremlin had just told them.

"Mayu is a Gate?!" Kotori said in shock too.

"Surprised?! Who knew that there'd be two Gates at the same school! And that one was Misa-chan's little sister!" Gremlin said before he chuckles.

"Hey, don't lie!" Beast said.

"Don't care if you don't believe me. Misa-chan is probably meeting with her in their old home." Gremlin said, which made Wizard realize something.

"It can't be…" Wizard said before he remembers how Mayu reacted after seeing that text on her phone. "That was from Medusa!"

"An older sister driving her younger sister to despair. Don't you find it intriguing?!" Gremlin laughs.

"I'll never allow that!" Wizard swore before he turned to Beast. "Nitou!"

"Say no more!" Beast told him as Wizard changed to his Hurricane Dragon Ring. "Leave him to me. Get going."

"Yeah!" Wizard said.

"I'm going too! I know where her house is!" Kotori said as she ran to Wizard.

Wizard resets his Driver and scans his Dragon Ring on it.

[HURRICANE, DRAGON: Byu-Byu, Byu-Byu-Byu-Byu]

Wizard changes to his Hurricane Dragon Style, he then puts on his Special Ring and scans it on his Driver.

[CHOINE, SPECIAL: SAIKO]

"I'm counting on you, Kotori." Wizard said before he grabbed onto his sister as his Drago Wings appeared.

Wizard soon flew out of the building while carrying Kotori as they headed towards Mayu's house.

Medusa stood up and walked forward.

"I can't believe you're also a Gate. Twins are mysterious, aren't they?" Medusa said before Mayu turned to her.

"Misa-chan…what are you saying?" Mayu asked. Medusa stops walking before she tells her the cold dark truth.

"Nothing of Misa remains within me." Medusa then remembers the Sabbath, the day her Gate, Misa, had died and how she was brought to this world.

(Flashback)

On the day of the solar eclipse several Gates had fallen into despair giving birth to their inner Phantoms.

Misa was among them as purple cracks appeared around her body before she shattered into pieces with Medusa taking her place.

Medusa takes her first breath before she chuckles and flicks her hand on the snakes on her head.

(End of flashback)

Mayu was horrified by that as her eyes widened and was on the verge of having a panic attack.

"No…" Mayu mutters before she stands up to ask Medusa another question. "What happened to Papa and Mama?!"

Medusa chuckles before she places a hand on her chin.

"Those two…were fools." Medusa said before she remembers the first thing she did after the Sabbath.

(Flashback)

It was a dark and rainy night, Medusa in her human form had arrived at her Gate's home as she opened the gate and walked forward as thunder started to appear.

After Medusa had entered the house, Misa's parents welcomed her home thinking she was truly their now deceased daughter as they were glad, she was back after being missing for so long.

Medusa was seated on the couch as Mayu's mother placed a towel on her shoulders.

"We were so worried!" Mrs. Inamori said before her husband arrived to give Medusa a warm cup of tea.

"Have something warm to drink." He said as he was going to give the Phantom the cup.

"Shut up!" Medusa said in annoyance as she stood and pushed Mayu's parents to the floor.

"Misa-chan!" Mrs. Inamori said.

That's when Medusa changed into her true form showing it to the Inamoris as they began to scream in fear and held each other.

Medusa chuckles before she stretches out her snakes and they slither around Mayu's parents as the snakes force them to stand up as thunder continues to appear above the house.

(End of flashback)

"It can't be…" Mayu said in horror before Medusa turned to her.

"Yes. I killed them with my own hands." Medusa said as she showed Mayu's precious keychain in her hand and crushed it into pieces before she let it fall to the floor.

Mayu was now panting to see her keychain now in pieces.

"It…can't…be…" Mayu mutters.

Then purple cracks appeared in Mayu's Underworld before she fell on her hands and knees as she began to cry in despair.

"Your beloved Papa, Mama, and sister…are all dead." Medusa said as she walked close to Mayu and knelt down beside her with an evil smile on her face. "Now, give in to despair and let a new Phantom be born."

That's when someone entered the house through the back door, Medusa looked and saw it was Wizard who was now glaring at her.

"Stop it!" Wizard told her.

"Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai." Medusa said as she stood up. "Why are you here?"

"And he's not the only one!" Both Wizard and Medusa turned to the other door and saw Kaguya and Yuzuru in their limited Astral Dresses and armed with their Angels had also arrived.

"Kaguya? Yuzuru?" Wizard said as he was surprised to see them here.

"Hey, Shido, were we following Mayu because we were worried about her. But then some Ghouls attack us." Kaguya told her before Yuzuru turns to the despairing Mayu.

"Worrisome: But it appears we were too late." Yuzuru said before Kotori entered through the back door.

"Shido, look at Mayu!" Kotori said as she pointed at Mayu, and Wizard looked at her.

As Mayu continued to cry in despair, purple cracks started to appear on her face.

"Papa! Mama!" Mayu sobs as the cracks start to appear around her body.

"This is bad." Wizard said as he was ready to help but Medusa stood in his way.

"I won't let you!" Medusa said before she changed into her Phantom form.

Medusa then uses her snakes to attack Wizard and the Yamai twins while Kotori falls to the floor.

(Meanwhile)

Beast continues to battle against Gremlin before they clash blades before Beast dodges another attack from his other sword.

Beast then slashes at Gremlin who dodges it by ducking before the green Phantom blocks his next attack with both of his swords and brings them to the side.

"Guess that's enough." Gremlin said before he pushed Beast's sword aside and slash on his chest with both of his swords.

Beast was sent rolling on the ground before he stood up on his knee and foot as Gremlin rested his twin swords on his shoulders.

"I think what's going on over there is more interesting! Later!" Gremlin said as he left the building by jumping out at high speed.

"Hey!" Beast called out as he stood up before he sighed in disappointment. "Looks like I'm not eating him."

Beast walks back to his friends and Takako as he changes into his civilian form.

"You okay?" Nitou asked.

"Hai. But I can't believe Mayu's also a Gate." Takako said in some worry for her friend.

"I just hope he makes it in time." Nitou said.

(Back with Wizard)

Wizard, armed with his sword, is clashing blades with Medusa's scepter as they were now outside of the house and were fighting in a tunnel.

Both Wizard and Medusa jumped over the small waterway in the ground as they continued to clash weapons.

Medusa then heard someone roaring and saw Kaguya was charging at her to attack with her lance. Medusa parries in time and lands a kick on her head.

That's when Medusa saw Yuzuru attacking her with her chain, and Medusa parries her chain several times before Yuzuru smirks as she uses her chain to wrap around Medusa's body to retrain her.

"Warning: Give up now if you know what's good for you." Yuzuru said, but Medusa just chuckles at her.

"Please…Like this is enough to hold me down." Medusa said before she sends her snakes at Yuzuru which entangle around her body.

"Panic: Oh no!" Yuzuru said.

Medusa then slams Yuzuru all around the tunnel, starting with the walls, to the ceiling, to ground, and to the ceiling again. Yuzuru was groaning before her Angel slipped out of hand as it disappeared, freeing Medusa.

Medusa chuckles before she removes her snakes as Yuzuru falls to the ground.

"Yuzuru!" Kaguya said in worry before she glares at Medusa. "Damn you!"

Kaguya charges at Medusa and attacks with her lance several times, Medusa parries and dodges her attacks before she places a hand on Kaguya's chest and soon fires a giant energy snake right in front of her, sending Kaguya smashing into a wall.

When the snake disappeared, an injured Kaguya fell to the ground.

"Kaguya!" Wizard said in worry before he and Medusa turned at each other.

"Now…where were we?" Medusa said before she and Wizard charged at each other.

Both Wizard and Medusa clashed their weapons several times as they moved out of the tunnel before Wizard rolled on the ground and landed on his knee and foot.

Wizard soon changes to his Flame Dragon Ring before he stands up and resets his Driver to scan the Ring on it.

[FLAME, DRAGON: Bou Bou Bou Bou Bou]

As Wizard changes into his Flame Dragon Style, the flames of his transformation gather around his sword before he sends it to Medusa in the form of a fire slash.

Medusa blocks it with her scepter before she shatters it.

Wizard, wearing his Connect Ring, resets his Driver and scans the Ring on it.

[CONNECT, PLEASE]

A magic circle appeared beside Wizard as he thrust his hand in it to pull out his Drago Timer now attached to his hand.

[DRAGO TIME: SET UP]

Wizard was about to use his Drago Timer but stops as Medusa charges at him to attack forcing Wizard to dodge it before he blocks another attack with his sword, Wizard then kicks at Medusa, but she dodges and thrust her scepter at him as Wizard blocks it before he blocks another attack.

But then Medusa pushed Wizard's sword away and landed a hit on Wizard's chest before she placed her scepter in front of his chest shocking Wizard with purple electricity before creating an explosion in front of him which sent Wizard flying before he crashed on the wall behind him and fell to the ground.

Wizard was groaning as his wounds were beginning to heal.

"Shido…" Kaguya said.

"Concern: Shido…" Yuzuru said.

"What's wrong? You seem upset." Medusa said in a mocking tone as Wizard stood up on his knee and foot.

Kotori soon arrived while helping a despairing Mayu stand and walk as the cracks around her body grew larger and larger.

"Shido! The Phantom's about to be born!" Kotori calls out to him.

"Mayu-chan!" Wizard said as he stood and was going to walk to Mayu to save her.

But Medusa stops him by using her snakes to grab him before she lifts Wizard up in air and begins to drain his mana.

"You shouldn't be looking away." Medusa said.

Medusa had drained enough of Wizard's mana to a point that he reverted back into his civilian form before she removed her snakes, letting Shido fall to the ground.

"Shido!" Kotori said in worry for her brother.

Mayu continues to weep over the loss of her family.

"Papa! Mama!" Mayu said before a green aura appeared around her body which sent Kotori to the ground.

Mayu then falls on her hand and knees while having a hand on her chest as Shido, Kotori, and the Yamai twins could only watch in horror.

"No! Don't give into despair!" Shido told her.

"Mayu…You have to stay strong!" Kaguya said.

"Worry: Mayu!" Yuzuru said.

Medusa just chuckles to hear that.

"Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai." Medusa then begins walking to Mayu. "Watch as a new Phantom is born…and then…join her in despair and give birth to a new Phantom."

"Kisama!" Shido growled at her.

Medusa stops in front of Mayu as green crystals start to appear on her back, and Medusa chuckles as her Phantom is ready to come out.

Then in that moment, Mayu had appeared in her own Underworld as she was now seeing the day where her parents and sister gave her encouragement to study abroad.

"Whether it'll be a beginning or an end is up to you." Misa told her.

Then purple cracks started to appear in her Underworld starting with the walls and then to the floor as Mayu could only watch as she fell deeper into despair.

Then the memories of herself and Misa begin to turn to dust which causes Mayu to scream with all of her remaining strength.

"Misa-chan! Misa-chan!"

Then in that moment, the cracks in her Underworld turns gold as they fade away, restoring her Underworld.

Then in the real world, the cracks around Mayu's body begin to heal as the green crystals are absorbed into her body.

As Mayu took a moment to catch her breath, everyone, including Medusa was shocked that Mayu was able to contain her Inner Phantom by overcoming her despair.

"Bakana!" Medusa said.

"She suppressed her Phantom." Shido said.

"So she's just like Shido?" Kotori said.

"No way…" Kaguya said.

"Shock: Unbelievable." Yuzuru said.

"Misa-chan…Onee-chan saved me." Mayu said while Medusa growled to see this.

"How?! How is this happening?!" Medusa said before Mayu glares at her.

"You're just pretending to be Misa-chan…I won't let someone like you end my life!" Mayu swore.

"What?!" Medusa said before they heard a familiar sound.

[TELEPORT, NOW]

Appearing before them was the White Wizard.

"The Shiroi Mahōtsukai?!" Medusa said in shock.

Shido was also surprised to see him again. Unknown to them is that Gremlin, in his human form, was spying on them as he was hiding behind a tree as his eyes were on the White Wizard with a smile on his face.

"Oh! This is unexpected! But this might be really lucky! To be meeting him." Gremlin said.

The White Wizard puts on his Explosion Ring as he looks at Medusa.

"Begone." He said before he scanned the Ring on his Driver.

[EXPLOSION, NOW]

An explosion appeared in front of Medusa which sent her flying before she rolled on the ground. Medusa manages to stand back up before she reluctantly retreats.

The White Wizard then turns to Mayu as he slowly approaches her.

"You did well to survive and not lose hope. You have earned the right to become a mage." The White Wizard then offers his hand to Mayu. "Come with me and defeat the Phantoms who took away your family. That is the only path for you. What will you do?"

While Mayu was left with an important choice that might change her life forever, Shido manages to stand up as he calls out to the White Wizard.

"Hey, wait!" Shido walks to them before he leans on a support beam.

The Yamai twins manage to stand up as well.

The White Wizard turns to Shido.

"It is her decision." The White Wizard told him.

Everyone then looks at Mayu as she lowered her head before she raised it as she made her decision.

"I will go." Mayu said before she accepted the White Wizard's hand as she stood up.

"Mayu-chan!" Shido said in worry.

"It's okay. This is…the beginning that I have chosen." Mayu told them.

The White Wizard soon changes to his Teleport Ring before he turns to Shido.

"We will meet again, Itsuka Shido." The White Wizard told him before he scans the Ring on his Driver.

[TELEPORT, NOW]

The White Wizard soon leaves while taking Mayu with him.

Shido then leans on his back before Kotori stands up and walks to her brother.

"Is he the one you told me about, Shido?" Kotori asked.

"Yeah. Is he…trying to turn Mayu into a mage?" Shido said in wonder and worry about what the White Wizard had planned for her.

(No More Time Machine by LiSA)

(You need a time machine?) (As the songs start, Shido was seen riding on his Machine Winger on the road before he sped up.)

(Suki darake no kao narabete itsumo to onaji hanashi shite) (Then the scene changes to Tohka sleeping as her memories with Shido appear in the background. Then changes to a sleeping Yoshino as her memories with Shido appear.)

(Terebi no naka hīrō ga mirai no tame ni isogashisō) (Then changes to sleeping Kotori as her memories with Shido appear in the background. Then to a sleeping Kurumi as her memories with Shido appear.)

(Hoka ni wa nai igokochi ga aru yo) (Then changes to a sleeping Kaguya and Yuzuru as their memories with Shido appear. Then it changes to a sleeping Miku as her memories with Shido appear.)

(Mai aru nā hitori ga suki datta noni mō modorenai) (Shido was seen sleeping on a grassy field before he wakes up and saw his friends were standing in front of them before Tohka offered her hand to him and Shido smiles as he grabs her hand as he stood up, before they run on the field together before WizarDragon appeared in the sky as it flew above them.)

(Taai no nai jikan o wakeai! Ureshī yo toka sabishī yo toka…Nitamono dōshi dakara iwanai) (Then it changes to Shido and his friends going shopping together for food, stylish clothes, and looking at certain items in front of the store window.)

(Bōken eiga to wa tōi mainichi ni! Akireru yōna afureru yōna! Omoidashi warai ga tsudzukimasu yōni…) (Then it changes to Shido and his friends in a water park with some playing in the pool splashing water at each other, while some riding on the water slides, and some were just sunbathing.)

({Instrumental} You need a time machine?) (Then changes to Shido riding on his motorcycle once again before he speeds up and the screen changes to his back as he drives to parts unknown.)
