Eren Jaeger was wandering through the wilderness, nothing eventful happening. It's been a few hours since he's left Kinvinaris's domain and he's already missing them. He felt the same sense of loneliness when he was separated from his friends and when both of his parents were gone due to different reasons. Even still, he needed to push on. It was only then that he would find his comrades again.

Their encounter left a lot to be desired, but he appreciated all the things that Kinvinaris had done for him. He never thought he would learn magic, let alone be able to experience and use it to his liking, but this world he's in has a different set of rules than the ones back home. Mastering Fire Demon Slayer Magic was quite the event for him, but he took a liking to this brand of magic and all the unique properties that come with it.

Still though, even with all that knowledge and learning more about this world, Eren was at a loss of how he was going to get back home. The best thing he could do was to do some more research in teleportation: specifically the ones that can allow the user and anything they want to travel between dimensions. Kinvinaris confirmed that there were alternate realities in Earthland, so maybe that kind of power can get him and his friends back home. If that's the case, then he better start finding leads.

But before that, he needed to know where he was at first. He unsheathed one of his operating devices and pulled the trigger, releasing the hook and causing it to pierce a nearby tree. He pulled the bottom trigger and reeled himself up to the high point. Once Eren found himself a steady branch to stand on, he released the hook from its location and winded it back to its compartment. Knowing that Eren had a bird's eye view, he took the chance to study his surroundings as best as he could.

"Now where I can find something that can lead me in the right direction." Eren told himself. He scooped out the area, making sure to concentrate his vision on any potential landmarks or points of interest. After looking in a couple of directions, Eren turned his head and found what appeared to be a house. Upon closer inspection as he could, he saw that there were other buildings.

"A village? Didn't expect one to be so rural, but it's better than nothing." Eren lowered his body to the ground and began making his way to the village.

It didn't take until Eren was finally at the village. But it wasn't like he was expecting.

Although the house he saw was intact and still standing, the same couldn't be said for the rest. Many of the other homes and buildings he saw were either abandoned, broken down, or destroyed completely. It occurred to him that this was an old village and all the old inhabitants moved out a long time ago.

Eren felt a sense of melancholy wash over him. It reminded him too much of what happened to his town Shiganshina when his own home was attacked, many of the structures they were forced to leave behind being in similar conditions to ones in this village. It wasn't just

Shiganshina either, many homes were forcibly abandoned by their owners in Wall Maria altogether, leaving them vacated and empty, giving the appearance of a ghost town more than anything else.

"Well in any case, let's find a treasure underneath this rubble. There must be something worthwhile in this place." Eren said to himself, but he didn't get his hopes too high so the disappointment wouldn't be too bad if he found nothing.

He started looking around the area, visiting the houses that were still standing. He didn't find anything too interesting, just common household items that you would expect to find such as furniture, kitchen utensils, and clothing, except they were all worn down due to being not used for a long time and without proper care being applied to them.

He was searching the last establishment, still not finding anything worthwhile. Eren kept searching all over the place and eventually he did find something, but it wasn't what he expected.

"What's this?" He asked, picking up an item that had a little chain attached to it.

It seemed to be a locket of some kind. It was in the shape of a silver coin with a matching chain that went through a small hole so that it could be worn by anyone. It turned out that the circle could be opened. Inside was a photo of a small family, a father with gray hair and green eyes, a mother with purple hair and blue eyes, and finally a little girl who inherited her hair and eye color from her mother and father respectively.

After looking at the locket, Eren noticed that there were also tiny pieces of paper scattered near where he found the jewelry. Upon closer inspection, he noticed that they were what appeared to be drawings of the family doing a variety of things. Playing with their daughter, eating dinner, and traveling to other places.

"But where did the family go? Where did the other villagers go?" Eren questioned. The soldier took a second to think about the conditions of the village. At first, he thought they were just abandoned to go to someplace else, which confused him but nonetheless he thought the structural damage was from time creeping in and lack of maintenance. Now, he's starting to wonder if maybe the reason nobody lives here anymore was because it was similar to why he and his friends had to desert their own homes.

"Maybe they are still around." Eren collected the locket and photos, and put them with the rest of the belongings, determined to give them to their owners if he ever finds them. Even though they were complete strangers, Eren knows the feeling of leaving something behind and having something to remember by looking at the key around his neck.

Not going to find anything else in the ghost town, the soldier took off, looking for the next place that would hopefully have people and have some kind of lead that he can use to find his friends and return home.

Eren continued on through the woods, taking a path he saw fit after leaving the village. The soldier decided to head south as he had a gut feeling that he would soon encounter civilization, and a town or city that actually had people populating it.

He soon found himself on a clear dirt road and has been walking on it for quite a while. Eren has been thinking in his head on what he would do when he finally encounters a populated area. He thinks going to a library would be a good start, as he would get more information on his surroundings and different types of magic, hopefully including teleportation and dimensional magic. Eren just hoped that it was forbidden, although given the magics in question, he shouldn't be too surprised if they are considering the potential dangers of them, especially the latter.

Eren just mindlessly walked on the narrow road until he encountered something. At the far end of the other point of the path, there was a person. The soldier couldn't get a good look at them due to having their back turned, but at least he was glad that he finally found another human being to talk to. Although he couldn't make out the details, Eren could tell they were wearing gray robs with a hood attached, accompanied by a large gray scarf wrapped around them. They also appeared to be wearing a backpack and carrying a staff.

"Uh, hello?" Eren said, not sure how to approach the person as they seemed not to have noticed him.

Slowly, the person turned around revealing themselves to be a young man that appeared to be in his thirties. He had pale brown hair, black eyes, and some scars on his neck and face. They looked at the young soldier for a moment, not saying a word. Eren and the man just stared at each other, the former getting a bit uncomfortable by the man's lack of communication.

"Can you help me?"

The man continued to stare at him, still not saying a word. However, the man gave a toothy grin, one that slightly unnerved Eren.

"Why hello young man. Of course I can help you, what do you need assistance with? The man asked.

Eren had a suspicious feeling ever since he saw the man, that smile he just gave doing nothing but give the soldier more incentive to keep his guard up. He made sure to have his ODM gear ready in case things took a turn for the worst.

"I need directions to the nearest city or town. Can you point me in the right direction?" The Scout told him. The man continued to grin at him.

"Why of course." He said, a bit too showy for the soldier's liking. "I'm actually heading to one myself, why don't you come along with me on my way there." Eren felt his body tense up more.

This guy has been giving him bad feelings since he encountered him and he is not going to ignore his instincts.

"No, that's fine. I'm busy and I don't want to waste your time." Eren replied.

"Oh no need, you aren't wasting my time. In face" The man grin grew and Eren felt a wave of magic power wash over him. He drew his blades and readied himself for battle.

"You are exactly what I'm looking for."

The tip of the man's wand glowed with blue energy. He titled his weapon until the tip was aimed towards Eren and it fired off a small burst of energy. Eren dodged the attack effortlessly, but despite the size of the attack, the impact it made was much larger.

Eren drew in a quick breath.

"Fire Demon Rage!" He let out a torrent of blue flames that were once used against him. The wizard seemed to be immensely shocked at the attack, but this just caused him to grin even more. The man raised his staff and a magical barrier formed around him, blocking the spell.

"Who are you?" Eren questioned.

"I could ask you that same question." The man replied. "I've never seen someone who wields your type of magic before, this will be very interesting indeed. But since you asked so nicely, my name is Rave." The wizard announced.

Eren stared at the man intently. He didn't care at all for this guy's name. Right now, the important thing is to defeat him so that he can continue on with his objective. He flipped his right sword back so he was wielding it in a reverse position. He then ignited his fist and charged.

"Fire Demon Oxygen Fist!"

Rave simply smiled as he tapped his staff on the ground and a magical pressure emitted from it, blowing Eren back before he got a chance to attack him. The soldier didn't expect that move, but didn't let it deter him. He simply stopped himself on the ground and jumped up, covering one of his feet in blue flames and planned to bring it down on the wizard's head.

"Fire Demon Tears!"

The wizard covered his staff in a magical aura and lifted it above his head to block Eren's spell. The aura glowed, causing another, smaller shockwave that pushed the soldier back again. Eren wasn't too pleased that his attack was deflected again, but now that he knows that simple attacks wouldn't work, he was going to try something else.

"Well if that won't hit him, maybe this will." Eren cloaked his blades with his magic and charged forward once again.

'That approach won't work on me, will he ever learn?' The mage thought. Unfortunately for Rave, he might've thought too soon on that.

Much to the mage's shock, Eren didn't go straight at him like he thought. Instead, he zoomed right past him. Using the hooks from his ODM gear, he latched onto the trees on the sides of the road and circled around Rave. It wasn't long until the soldier's adversary was covered in a light blue, demonic fire tornado.

"Impressive, but this won't be enough for the likes of me!" Rave immediately conjured up his Magic Powers inside his body and with one swift of his arms, unleashed the built-up magic to dispel the tornado. However, he failed to notice Eren coming at him from behind with his blades. He twisted his body to do a quick spin slash with his swords still cloaked in flames. Egor shifted his body to the side, but couldn't avoid the attack completely.

"Fire Demon Twisted Grasp!"

Rave grunted as he felt the burning metal cut through his clothes, simultaneously cutting the skin too. That was the worst pain though. Before he realized it, the blue flames wrapped around his arm and soon his entire body. The wizard screamed in agony from the searing pain.

His wand glowed again and he began casting a healing spell on him. Soon his body was brand new, although the lingering aching of Eren's attack still remained, but he figured it would go away soon enough.

"Well, aren't you just full of surprises?" The wizard mocked. "I've heard of Dragon Slayers, especially ones in Fiore, but to think there would exist a demonic counterpart." He observed.

"I'm going to ask you again. And this time I want you to answer very carefully: Who are you?" Eren interrogated, his voice making it clear he wasn't in the mood for games. Rave looked at him, a bit taken back by the young man's tone. Nevertheless, he answered him.

"As you know, my name is Rave. I'm a wizard that travels wherever he likes." He began. The two had their weapons ready, hands gripping them so hard they either become white, break what they're holding, or both.

"I have seen many locations, many people, many magics, and many different discoveries." Rave grinned. "In fact, if I see something I like, I take it for myself, no questions asked." Eren growled.

"So I'm guessing that bag right there holds many things that don't belong to you." Rave took the bag and presented it to him.

"This bag holds many treasures of different shapes and sizes. Some I was able to achieve with a little persuading, others." Rave paused. "I had to force my hand." Eren wasn't pleased. In fact he was getting more angry

"So you coerce people into giving you what they want, and if they refuse, you attack them. Am I right?" Eren asked. Rave put his finger on his chin.

"Well I wouldn't put it that way, yeah, that's basically it. I do remember one particular village whose valuables I could not pass up. It's a shame that it ended up like it is now." That got Eren's attention.

"What village?!" He demanded. Rave looked him in the eye and smiled.

"Well, if you must know, it was a village not too far from here actually." Eren didn't like the sound of that. "Its villagers were definitely the most bull-headed I've encountered. Even when I was destroying their precious home, they still wouldn't budge and would even try to fight back. However, none of them were mages and the ones that were there were too weak to be a threat to me." Eren couldn't take it anymore.

"YOU DAMN BASTARD!" Rave was actually taken off guard by the sudden shouting and even jumped a little. "Those villagers did nothing to you! They were trying to protect their home and what they rightfully own, but you took all that away for nothing but your stupid greed!" Eren took out the locket and showed it to him."

"Are you the reason these people are gone now?" Rave took a closer look at the picture inside and once he realized who they were, his wicked shit-eating grin came back.

"Oh yeah. I remember them. Man they really are the example of a power couple and what a parent would do for their children. The father tried to beat me to submission while the mother was just as ruthless. But in the end, it didn't matter. They were vanquished before you knew it."

Rave chuckled. "I remember their little girl watching from the sidelines, watching with worry. When her parents faded, I can recall the look of sheer horror and sadness she had. I couldn't help but find it funny." Eren bared his teeth at that explanation.

"Where's the girl?" Eren spoke.

"Oh, I don't know where she is. I got bored of killing, so I decided to spare her. However, I couldn't just let her go after she saw what I've done. So I used my Transformation magic to turn her into a snake, and watched as she slithered away with a care." Eren stopped for a moment.

'He turned her… into a snake?' Eren couldn't believe it. The girl wasn't dead, but she was trapped in her own body as something she wasn't supposed to be. It hit way too close to home for him. He closed his eyes before opening them back at Egor and spoke again.

"Who is she?" Rave was confused at the sudden shift, but complied.

"I believe her name was Kinana. If you have plans to look for her, if you survive that is, I wish you luck, because the enchantment I cast on her was of a high-tier variety. It can't be dispelled by normal means." He warned. Eren knew what Enchantments were thanks to Kinvinaris's teachings.

"Then I'll just find a way to undo the damage you cause." Eren argued. 'Kinana. I may not know you, but no one deserves that fate. If you haven't been freed from your curse yet, then I"ll be the one who does it."

"Good luck with that, because I have no intention of letting you walk here alive. I'll be taking your Demon Slayer Magic and use it for my own benefits!" Rave said, getting his wand ready with the tip already glowing.

"Keep dreaming old man!" Eren took a stance with his swords on his sides, his magic flaring due to his emotional state and forming an aura around him.

"I guess I have to teach the long life lesson of you younglings respecting your elders, damn brat!" Rave shouted as the bottom of his staff hit the ground. Suddenly, the entire ground began to crumble as it broke and shot Eren into the air.

'This must be Earth Magic!' Eren shouted in his mind. Rave smiled as he aimed the orb of his staff as Eren and from it, a large torrent of water came out. Eren shielded his body with his arms and cloaked it in his magic to lessen the blow, but the attack was still powerful enough to knock him back.

"Hm, as I thought. Despite having an elemental advantage, ordinary Water Magic doesn't really have an effect on your brand of Fire Magic, or at least not that much. I guess I have to crank the dial on the power scale." Rave shrugged and lifted his staff in the air, creating a large water dome around the area.

Eren looked shocked as he was trapped inside. Rave gave him a smirk and slammed his staff down, bringing the mass amount of water with it. Eren knew that even if used his magic, the water would still cause tremendous blunt damage, not to mention it could damage his ODM gear. With no choice, Eren gathered a large amount of air and shot another beam of fire from his mouth, creating an opening. He quickly used his gear to shoot himself up and out of the barrier.

When the water crashed and settled, he could see that Rave did not look harmed at all.

'He must've used a barrier.' Eren thought. While he was in the air, Eren tried to think of his next battle plan.

'He must have mastered many types of magic. In that case, I have to end this now. The longer I keep it going, the more energy I will waste and the more likely that he will have something that can deal with me no problem.' With that in mind, Eren knew what he had to do.

Eren used his hooks to launch himself towards Rave. The old man in turn created a wall made of earth around him. The soldier was deterred by it, and simply cloaked his blades in his magic. With one swift slash, Eren broke through the wall, leaving Rave exposed.

Rave's reaction time was quicker though and a blast of electricity exploded from his wand's rob, knocking Eren back and shocking him in the process.

Eren fell on his back, grunting from the pain. However, he couldn't stay there for long, as a wave of magic was coming his direction and would split him apart. Raising his legs and moving his body back, Eren kicked himself off the ground and jumped in the air, narrowly missing the wave.

Rave fired a burst at Eren's right arm. It was too fast for him to evade, and when he looked to his right, he saw his arm completely encased in ice. Before he could melt it, Eren saw another bolt of lighting coming straight at him. He barely had enough time to block his face with a flaming hand, but the attack still knocked him back, this time in the air.

The soldier landed on his feet and retaliated with many slashes of fire formed from his swords. The slashes raced towards Rave, but he simply raised his hand and a barrier of wind surrounded him, protecting him and dispelling the fire slashes.

Eren grunted at his attack being so effortlessly taken care of. He was getting frustrated, but he tried to keep himself calm, as he didn't want to lose himself in his anger again and lead it to his downfall again. He got lucky last time, but he didn't want to push it.

The soldier conjured up another breath attack, aiming the fire beam straight at the dark mage. It made contact, leaving behind a small dust cloud. Eren walked forward cautiously, not trying to give Rave any chance to attack him. He appeared at the spot where his foe was, but he wasn't there.

Eren's face turned to shock when he felt something behind him. He heard the sound of something breaking, something rising up. Eren turned around to see Rave pointing his staff at him and shooting a magical beam from the tip of his staff. The soldier crossed his arms, but the force still sent him flying. He landed on his back, getting back up on his feet quickly.

'How did he avoid that?' Eren thought. Rave was smirking at him as a flash of light appeared at his staff's tip. Eren shielded his eyes, as he tried to figure out what happened earlier.

'He's versed in multiple forms of elemental magic. So did he.' Eren's eyes grew big as he figured out the conclusion, ducking his head as a beam of light trying to take it clean off.

'He became one with the earth using Earth Magic. He traveled through the ground, being completely out of the way before my fire could hit him.' Eren thought. Narrowing his eyes, he shot out a beam of fire to counteract the light. Rave saw the incoming attack, and dodged accordingly, but dispelling the light.

He decided to go for close-combat to see if that approach might be able to give him an edge. He lit his fists and swords ablaze. He charged forward and started attacking. But it was proved that even with his old age, Rave was still a skilled combatant. He dodged and blocked every one of Eren's blows, leaning his body and twirling his staff so that he would come out unscratched.

The scout had enough and he tried to use a point-blank Fire Demon's Rage on him, but Rave simply used his hand to create an Air Magic spell that caused the Rage to spread out and fire backwards.

Using the same hand, Rave fired a beam of energy of his own, with Eren tilting his head to the side to barely dodge it. Rave smiled at his struggle.

"You know." Eren focused on his opponent. "I've never had this much fun before. Most of the mages I've fought, some with more experience than you. Some put up more of a fight, others went down so easily it was almost pathetic."

"I've never been a normal child. People will always tell me that I was a strange boy, and if they don't tell me to my face, I could hear and see them whispering behind my back, or give me weird looks."

"I don't care!" Eren shouted. Rave gave him a disappointed look.

"Oh, well. So much for small talk. But then again when did that ever help people? It never helped me, and it never helped anyone. I guess that doesn't matter anymore. My family is long dead and they sure as hell can't help me anymore. I always wanted everything because they looked cool and fascinating to me as a kid. And I still want more. What I have is not enough! I need more! I Need More! I NEED MORE! I don't care who gets in my way, I want it all and whoever dares stand against me will be punished!"

Rave started rambling, sputtering a mix between utter nonsense and things that appeared to be recollections from his past. Eren was getting unnerved from the seniors' behavior.

'Has he gone insane?' Eren got his answer as Rave started laughing hysterically and manically.

The wizard slammed his staff down and a flash of light appeared from it, blinding Eren who raised his arms to cover his eyes.

"Aahh!" Eren screamed in pain. Although he managed to shield his eyes in time, the light was hot to the touch, enveloping his body.

"HAHAHAHA!" Rave laughed like a wild hyena. He kept the light going just because he liked seeing Eren in so much pain. The teen gritted his teeth and allowed his magic to build up. When it was ready, Eren unleashed it, releasing his own wave of magic power that spread out from his body and surrounded the area. Everything that was hit by his demonic flames was burned, but to Rave, he could take the punishment despite how much it hurt.

"That's it. Enough playing around!" Eren charged towards Rave again, but made sure not to blindly attack him. This time, he knew what he needed to do.

Rave saw Eren coming towards him, and began firing orbs from his staff. Eren dodged and rolled out of the way, making sure to keep moving forward.

A burst of darkness appeared, taking Eren in its grasp. Eren grunted from the sudden attack, being both injured and blinded by it. Rave took the chance to thrust his staff forward, firing another magical orb, but this time it was much sharper and bigger. Eren lighted up the darkness with his fire, withering it away.

"Oh no you don't!" Rave was about to power up another orb, this one having a lot more energy stockpiled into it that was sure to do more than hurt badly if it hit someone. But he never got that chance.

Eren used his left sword to slice to the left, creating another fire slash. But this one wasn't made randomly. It was aimed to hit the top of the staff and render it useless.

Rave snapped out of his stupor and saw the slash. He promptly moved out of the way so that his weapon couldn't be hit, but Eren was moving faster than before. When Rave did that, Eren got close enough and thrust his right sword, aiming directly for Rave's chest.

The crazy wizard tried to conjure up another barrier to at least defend against the stab. Eren predicted this and pulled the trigger on his operating device to expel gas from his equipment and flew in closer.

Rave gasped and coughed out blood as soon as the blade went through him. However, he's been stabbed before and it didn't stop him. He raised his left hand and tried to conjure up Lightning Magic to blast it right into Eren's face.

The soldier noticed this however, and kneed the wizard in the stomach, furthering the blade in the chest and increasing the pain the wizard was feeling. Rave grunted his anger and used his staff to shoot a beam, pulling his arm back to make sure that the orb aimed directly at Eren's arm.

It activated and a beam of energy sliced it clean off. Rave started to grin, but that grin quickly turned into a frown of horror. Not only was Eren unphased by the loss of his arm, he pulled it back, looking like he was about to punch him.

'How. How can he possibly hurt me with a severed limb?' Rave got his answer in a way that he wasn't expecting.

Eren's arm started to regrow right in front of his eyes. The soldier remembered Kinvinaris teaching him about the different methods he can use with his extreme regeneration ability other than its normal usage. One of them being that he can focus that power into a single point to heal faster.

With his arm back to perfect condition, Eren socked Rave right in the face and with a quick turn to the right, pulled his blade out and slashed Rave across the chest. Injuring him severely. The wizard could only watch as his life started to slowly fade away. With his last ounce of strength, he gave a weak chuckle.

"Well played boy, well played." After that, Rave hit the ground, never to open his eyes again.

Eren just looked at the corpse.

"Rest in Peace, you snivelling little bastard." Eren decided to pick his bag up and take it with him. After all, he wouldn't be needing it anymore. He also took the staff since it might be helpful. After making sure he had everything and with one quick look at his fallen foe, the soldier continued his journey.

Eren continued down the trail. His mind kept going back and forth between the fight with Rave and his current objective. With the latter in mind, he wondered how his friends were doing. He hoped that was alright. They were trained soldiers, but they only started not too long ago and this world proved to be more challenging and cruel than his world is. Even with the lack of titans around.

'Armin, Mikasa.' Eren's mind drifted towards his best friends. They've been through a lot together the three of them. Armin was the only friend Eren had ever known, and then Mikasa came along and was adopted into his family. Looking back on it though, Eren couldn't help but feel inadequate towards them.

'Armin is the smartest of us. Always has been. He can use his head to get himself out of any scenario he's in. Mikasa is the muscle. She's always been able to take out many opponents and overpower them without trouble, even when we were kids, she could fight against three or more of the bullies, while I tend to struggle more. Armin has the brains, Mikasa has the strength: What do I have? A power that I have yet to understand fully and why my father gave it to me.' Eren felt frustrated. His titan abilities was the only thing that made him special, made him feel worth something, but he didn't have any natural talent or unique characteristic on his own otherwise. He still was confused and mad that his father had something like this at his disposal, but kept quiet about it when it could've helped humanity greatly.

"No use dwelling on it now." Eren shook his head. "I need to go to the basement back home if I want answers, and in order to do that, I need to get back the Walls and reclaim it." With his resolve back up, Eren continued his trek.

It was a few hours, but eventually he was able to discover something that caught his eye.

The trail seemed to have ended. However, he looked closer and soon found a stone wall that looked out of place in a forest.

After going deeper, Eren found that there were more stone walls all over the place. They were covered in moss and seemed destroyed.

"What happened here?" Eren asked himself. He hoped it wasn't something like what occurred to Kinana's village.

He traveled around, discovering more destroyed walls along the way. It wasn't long until he saw what appeared to be a shrine in the middle of what looked like the remains of an old gathering site, with stone platforms placed far at the corners of the shrine.

The shrine has a medium platform with stairs leading up to the top. There were four cylindrical pillars built of stone bricks that held up a fancy ceiling. Like everything else, the structure also fell to ruin in the passage of time. The pillars were laced with moss and vegetation, with dents accompanying it. The stairs had some of the steps broken or out right fallen apart. Finally, the ceiling had vines covering both the inside and outside of it as well as a large hole broken near the middle, letting sunlight in.

Eren wondered what lied here. He went up to the structure at the top and found a small podium. It had nothing on it.

"Well that's disappointing." Eren spoke out. Just as he was about to leave, he saw what looked to be a small shift at the bottom of the podium that looked out of place. Curious, Eren kneeled down and pushed the podium to the side, not as heavy as he was expecting.

What he found was a small hole that had a little latch. The soldier opened it and saw a book inside.

"Now what do you have here?" Eren took the book and opened it. He flipped through the pages. Thankfully it was in a language that he could understand, but the contents didn't seem all that appealing. That is until..

"Whoa." Eren saw a very detailed drawing of what looked to be an orb. This orb however, was pink and looked to be carved and sculpted out of pure gemstone. His interest piqued, Eren read through the passage, hoping to find a description of the amazing object.

"...this orb was imbued with special magic power said to have the ability to allow the user and all that he wished to go anywhere, including other dimensions." Eren's eyes widened. This was it! This was the answer he was looking for!

"The Rogue Vagabond, huh? Never expected that name, but it sounds cool I guess." Now that Eren had a lead, what he needed now was to find the Rogue Vagabond so that he could use it to return home.

'According to the book, it was last seen in a city south of here. That's where I head to next. And if I'm lucky, I might run into Armin and the others!'

With his next destination in mind, the soldier headed out, eager to find this artifact that could help him. Unbeknownst to him however, he wouldn't see his friends for a long time.

Author's Note:

It's been a while, but hey, I managed to get another chapter out. This one was admittedly more difficult to write as trying to come up with something original, yet exciting it not exactly easy. In fact, the Eren chapters or sections from here will be a bit difficult to write since I'm working with a blank canvas, but I do know the general direction I'm going in.

The fight with Rave is random and a bit stereotypical since I pictured him as the traditional old wizard, I know. But I wanted to give Eren a chance to show off his new powers, and what better way to do that than by fighting the man that turned Kinana into Cubelios? I've heard Irene would be a likely candidate to do the deed because of her superior enchantment, but I preferred to do it this way and it's gonna be a while before we encounter her.

Anyways, next chapter the Tenrou Island arc will start and I'm looking forward to it. I plan to get two chapters out during October, so be on the lookout for that. Until then, I'll see you next time.
