'I can't believe it. Three years with dragons and vikings working together peacefully thanks to Hiccup and me.' A night fury similar to the Toothless lands on an island and looks towards the horizon. 'You remember me, don't you? If not then I'm Matt or Nightshift to the dragons. I'm a shifter, a night fury shifter to be precise. Shifters were once the first of humans who accepted dragons and protected them from those who would harm them. The goddess of dragons, Noctis, saw the heroics and sacrifice of humans to protect her children so as a show of thanks, she blessed them as dragons to become the shifters they are today as well as becoming her children.

She was the reason why all dragons are here now and I am one of her descendants because I'm a rare breed of shifter. I am an Alpha Shifter but I'll explain later throughout the journey. In my night fury form, I look exactly like my bond brother Toothless but with the scar on across my left eye and a bit smaller because of my age. I was born a human but five years later, I was raised by a family of night furies who loved me with all of their hearts after my tribe banished me even though it should have been peaceful. I left when my dragonic father died and went to Berk and there I met my best friend and brother, Hiccup, and a few years later, he shot down a night fury who turned out to be my brother, Zyrus or Toothless now.' *Flashback of HTTYD* 'Overtime, our friendship became renewed and we ended up fighting the queen, the Red Death, but Hiccup lost his leg in the process, seems fair since Hiccup took Toothless's flight. It was peaceful for a time but there was still drama including myself since my secret was revealed to the villagers especially to Mildew.' *Flashback of the old man and enemies.* 'I hated that guy, saying that I'm a demon along with the other dragons and he allied himself with the Alvin and the Outcasts, who were once our enemies but now became our allies.

Now our last enemy was a crazy Berserker named Dagur and he is obsessed with getting mine and my brother's heads. We had a few close calls then and there, especially when he took control of a skrill who we may have put him back on the ice. What was Hiccup thinking? I feel like this is going to bite us on the tail.'

*ROAR!* I turned to my side and saw Hiccup and Toothless flying in the air with Astrid and Stormfly flying right behind them. I took off and leveled with Astrid and Stormfly. "Good morning, Astrid. Good morning, Stormfly." I greeted them with a toothless smile. Astrid turned to me and smiled.

'Astrid was one of my best and closest friends. When I feel sad or depressed she always cheers me up, saying I'm like a little brother to her.'

"Morning Matt. Can you help us catch Hiccup?" She said with a bit of annoyance. I raised my scale brow in confusion on why Astrid was mad but Stormfly told me why. "We have been chasing those two since the barracks. They're looking for new species of dragons. Again." Stormfly squaked.

'Stormfly was one of my close dragon friends and she liked me a lot in the past but since the first Snoggletog with dragons she took interest in her mate. She still flirts with me trying to make me fluster though.'

I nodded finally understanding. Hiccup's been looking for new dragons since we defeated Dagur but he found nothing. I wanted to tell him that there was more out there beyond the archipelago but my brother wanted me to stay quiet since some dragons have to remain unknown. I understood his logic and that there was more danger out there than here. I looked forwards and found Hiccup and Toothless being Loki by the Twins, Ruffnut and Tuffnut. "Haha! You thought Barf and Belch was a new dragon." Tuffnut exclaimed loudly fist bumping his sister. Hiccup didn't think it was funny and angrily replied, "Did not! Come on bud." And with that he landed on a nearby island and sat down. I landed right beside him and shifted to my human form and sat down with him.

'My human form was of a sixteen-year-old boy, where I had black hair and the greenest of eyes like Toothless, with a scar across my left eye. I also had the same height and muscle mass as Hiccup.'

Hiccup turned to me and smiled. "Where have you been? You're usually with me and Toothless." He said with a smile. I smiled back but I started to yawn. "I'm still a night fury, Hiccup. They don't wake up early in the morning. I feel bad for Toothless, he has to be forced on these mornings to be with you. Curse you!" I yelled jokingly at the end with a fist up. We laughed and Toothless decided to give me a bath. "Get off of me you useless reptile." I replied with a growl of playfulness. Toothless gave me a mocking shocked face and said, "Brother! You wound me so!" I stuck my tongue out at him and turned to Hiccup who had a sadden face on. " Hiccup? We searched the entire archipelago twice and haven't found a single dragon since well ...Forever." I sighed then Astrid landed right behind us and walked towards us. "Matt's right, Hiccup. We haven't found a single dragon for a long time." Astrid said with sympathy. Hiccup refused to acknowledge it however. "This can't be what's out there, guys. We can't just give up" He said. "Well it is for me." We turned to Astrid in confusion on why. "I tried to tell you and I tried to find Matt but he's nowhere to be found. Stormfly and I ...Were joining the Berk Guard." I was surprised but happy nonetheless but Hiccup wasn't the same. "Oh, wow, congratulations." 'He's excited ain't he?' An embodiment voice said in my mind. 'Be nice Wolf.'

'Wolf is my dragonic spirit and my half. He guides me on how to be a dragon and always accompanies me on my adventures and gives a lot of advice even though he's a bit naive at times.'

Astrid sighs telling Hiccup that maybe he should do something for him and my brother before she leaves for Berk. "I guess it's just me and you, bud." Hiccup said rubbing my brother's head. I shook my head and said, "Don't worry Hiccup. You'll find your way to new dragons. You always do." I shifted into my night fury form and flew towards Berk wanting to take a nap.

I was just sleeping on my brother's flat rock in my night fury form until I heard the door forcefully open and a name. "Johan." I growled but headed downstairs to see what was he doing here?

'I never trusted Johan in the beginning and won't ever leave my guard down even though he gave me the sword that I trained with. Something about him put my senses on the fritz and I always, always trust my instincts despite my friends telling me that I'm just paranoid.'

Once I head down the stairs, I saw Johan knocked out cold and wet on the shoulders of the Twins. I turned to Hiccup and asked what happened. "Dagur broke out of prison. Meet me at the training ring. I'll get the others." My eyes widened in shock but I nodded nonetheless and flew to the ring.

After waiting for an hour, everyone came and Hiccup began discussing the plan. "Alright gang, all we got from Johan was this, Dagur escaped from Outcast Island and commandeered his boat and threw Johan overboard right here in this area." Hiccup said pointing at an area on the map. Wolf appeared right beside me, and like me, he was a night fury and looked exactly like me and Toothless and has the same personality as me since he's a part of my dragon soul. "Oh, so what you're saying is Dagur could be anywhere by now." He said in norse to help the vikings understand him. I nodded to him, getting his attention. "Yep, knowing Dagur he can't be in one place at a time." I said matter of factly, knowing experience on how our enemy thinks. Snotlout then put his arm on Wolf shoulder and nodded. "Oh great. Great, great, great. So that just leaves… Snotlout tell me what you think." Wolf said sarcastically, turning to Snotlout to finish his sentence.

'I still can't believe that Snotlout and Wolf enjoy each other's company. Snotlout was one of my friends. We have a bit of a rivalry here and there but of course I always win besides Thawfest of course.'

Snotlout put a thoughtful face on and put his hand on his chin. "I don't know, let me think about this Wolf," He replied thoughtfully before yelling. "the entire ocean to search! Yeah, no thank you!" Wolf chuckled and I rolled my eyes before Johan showed up unexpectedly. "Master Hiccup." He replied nicely. I growled still not trusting Johan in the slightest. Johan jumped in shock but I knew it was fake and earned a glare from Hiccup. "Matt! You're always like this when Johan is around! Stop it!" Hiccup yelled. I turned towards him with my eyes slitted. "I'm sorry Hiccup but I don't trust him," I turned to Johan with a snarl. "Actually it's quite a coincidence, you were just there at Outcast Island, Johan." I growled threateningly at the end.

Johan stepped back and gulped excellently faking his fear. "W-well I was there to t-t-trade with the O-Outcast of c-course." He said fearfully. "Do me a favor and tell us where you think he's hiding." I said knowing he had something to say. "He's inside the fog bank on our outer group of islands." He said with knowledge. Hiccup glared at me for a moment before replying, "We never been out that far." He said. "I have and there's nothing there but a graveyard of ships." I said remembering a grave of ships in the fog during my travels to Berk. "Yes! When Dagur commandeered my precious ship, he also came into possession of a very important map… one that leads to the same graveyard that Master Matt has seen." Johan said before rudely interrupted by Snotlout. "Wow! That's the first place I'd go." He said sarcastically. "If I may be allowed to finish?" Johan said and I politely reminded him what happened last he told the entire story. "Johan, you know I don't like you but last time we allowed you to finish, we ended up on Breakneck Bog with very territorial dragons who steals metal legs. So please, no finishing and just tell us why Dagur is heading there." I said tiredly before uttering a yawn. Johan being the fake he is, started to explain a long story if Hiccup didn't interrupt him. "The short version, please." Johan blankly stared at Hiccup and me and replied blankly, "It's where I store all my treasures and wares." Everyone stared at him in shock while I just had a blank expression. "Wow, concise, to the point. Who knew he had it in him?" My best friend Tuffnut said still looking shocked.

'Tuffnut is my second best friend when I first came to Berk and we were the masters of jokes. I sometimes even assist him and his sister in serving Loki but of course I don't trust that god. He's the god of pranks for a reason.'

"Close that mouth before a terror decides to fly in and use it as a nest." Wolf replied unamused to Tuffnut and Snotlout before laying down and taking a quick nap ...well would have if Johan stopped talking! "Which reminds me of the first time I was labelled as 'concise'! He was a young man, very ugly, I actually-" "Johan." I replied, getting his attention. "Yes." He asked. "Shut up and tell us what else there is in the shipyard." I growled impatiently. Johan nodded rapidly knowing full well what I can do when I'm ticked. "As a matter of fact, there is one ship you must avoid at all cost. It's called… The Reaper."

Everyone listened closely while I slowly remembered a ship with the same description that Johan tells us with fake fear. "Riddled with booby traps from stem to stern. Barely made it out with my life the only time I dared venture aboard. Oh, wow!" Hiccup turned towards me and then hopped on Toothless. "Okay, Toothless, Matt, let's go. Unless, of course," Hiccup turned to the gang. "any of you can make time out of your busy schedule and capture a dangerous maniac?" I shifted to my night fury form and smirked with a glint of excitement in my eyes. "Going on an adventure and finding a crazy Berserker chief who can kill us quickly? WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO!" I yelled with excitement and leap into the air followed by the other riders and their dragons. "WOOHOO! YOU BETTER WATCH OUT DAGUR HERE WE COME!" I laughed with glee.

I haven't been this excited since Dagur went to jail and now we're back as a team again! *Roar* Hiccup chuckled at my excitement and patted my brother. "This is pretty great, huh, bud? Matt sure looks like he's haven't been this excited for forever since we last were a team. Speaking of team, let's see how rusty they are. V Formation!" When I heard the command I stopped and did a V Formation alongside the other riders. "Not bad. Diamond Formation!" Then we turned into a Diamond Formation and Tuffnut complained. "How rusty does this guy think we are?" Tuffnut said to me and I did an eye roll before seeing Fishlegs squished between Meatlug and Barf and Belch. "Uh guys? A little tight on the diamond, are we?" He muttered before being squished again. I growled at the dragons to separate. "HEY! GIVE EACH OTHER SPACE!"

All the dragons separated but it was more out of fear. "Woah Stormfly!" "Barf!" "Belch!" "Meatlug!" "Easy Hookfang!" The riders exclaimed trying to calm down their dragons. "Seriously Matt?" I turned to Hiccup, who had an amused impression while I had a sheepish smile. "Fishlegs was being squished. All I said was give each space." I said trying not to be ashamed of what I just did.

My brother, Toothless turned his head to me and smiled calming my nerves. "It's ok Nightshift, Shifters have the ability to command other dragons but you must understand that you are an Alpha Shifter. You're more commanding and can sometimes be feared by your fellow dragons, not because of you personally but of your power. It must be respected and since you became sixteen you have more power in your mind and soul. Just try to be patient and less harsh." He joked at the end. I rolled my eyes but widened when I almost got hit by Hookfang and Snotlout. "Five thousand pounds of flaming muscle coming through." Snotlout yelled before going faster than us. "Ever classic." Hiccup sarcastically said while I laughed.

It was night when we finally arrived and there was no sign of Dagur. "Looks like we got here first." Wolf replied looking at a few boats beside me and Toothless. Hiccup was ecstatic. "I knew it! I knew there was more!" Hiccup said smiling while Toothless purred. Astrid looked around and her brows rose in confusion. "Some of these ships, I've never seen anything like them before." She said while I looked around and snarled lowly. "I saw some of these ships before coming to Berk. I have never seen what the ships can do but some of the items looked like dragon proof though." Astrid turned to me while I continued. "I believe the ships are for dragons but for what purpose, I do not know." "Hiccup? I believe we should split up. Just to make sure if we find Dagur here before us." Wolf growled in norse and Hiccup nodded, turning to the rest of us. "You heard him, everyone fan out. If anyone sees any signs of Dagur, sound the signal." I nodded and searched the area to the north looking for signs of Dagur with Wolf.

I started to shiver like we're being watched by something. "I agree, something is in the water but I don't know what it is?" Wolf whimpered and looked down trying to find something. I looked down as well and I thought I saw a big, long tail but it disappeared before I could check. I then had a disturbing thought. "Oh Noctis, Please don't let it be GIANT eels." I whimpered in fear. Wolf eyes dilated sharply and growled nervously. "Maybe we should see if the others found anything, k?" I nodded rapidly and we quickly headed to a nearby boat with the gang on it.

"Not a sign of Dagur." Hiccup said with a bit of disappointment. "What's the plan?" I said, wondering what Hiccup is thinking and hopefully that'll like. "We wait." Yeah, I didn't like that. "Hiccup have you seen this fog? It's making me and Nightshift nervous." Wolf said but Hookfang decided to tease him and me. "Oh is the big bad night fury shifters afraid of a little fog. Ha!"

'Hookfang was my friend but that doesn't mean we have some battles here and there.'

I growled warningly but playfully calming the both of us from the fog. Hookfang chuckled while I stuck my tongue at him til I heard Ruffnut say, "Not if we steal Johan's treasure first!" I perked up at that and roared, "YES! STEAL JOHAN'S TREASURE!" Tuffnut thought it was a terrible idea though. "That is the dumbest idea I've ever heard! I hereby disown you." He said dramatically while I growled at Tuffnut earning a yelp. "You do know how I feel about disownment, Tuffnut." I calmly growled at him.

'Disownment and abandonment was a part of my past since I was abandoned and when I heard about Hiccup being disowned by his father before going to the nest of the Red Death, I almost killed him if it wasn't for Hiccup and my brother.'

Tuffnut sweated and nodded rapidly before saying to Ruffnut, "W-Welcome back to the f-family." Ruffnut smirked while giving me the love eyes. I stepped back and almost got sick before hearing a hissing sound. *HISS* My eyes widened and turned into slits while my body shakes in fear. The dragons took off in fear but I stayed put to help my friends which the dragons left behind. "W-Well there just eels. N-Nothing to worry about." I nervously said before a GIANT EEL CAME OUT OF THE WATER!

HISS* "AHHHH!" "I WAS SO WRONG!" Snotlout and I scream in total fear. "Come down bud! It's only a couple of eels!" I heard Hiccup said to Toothless and I yelled, "REALLY BIG, SCREAMING MEAN EELS!" I then blast my fire on the giant eel in total desperation and fear before I felt the boat sinking. "The eels are pulling the ship down!" Fishlegs yelled before everyone including me slid down towards the water filled with eels. Snotlout was able to grab the shipmast and told Fishlegs to grab his foot only to complain that Fishlegs ate a full breakfast then everybody's breakfast when the rest of the gang grabbed each other's feet.

I was still too far away to grab on but when I looked down seeing a giant eel opening its mouth wide open, I screamed and pierced my claws in the wood stopping my descent but screamed when the same eel bit the edge of my tail. "AHHH!" I screamed in fear and booked it, climbing quickly to get away from the eels. "CAN'T YOU FLY!?" Snotlout yelled and I screamed, "NOT IF I'M AFRAID!" I then noticed Astrid started to slip off Tuffnut's foot. I climbed down as quickly as possible and showed Astrid my tail. "GRAB MY TAIL!" I yelled trying to get closer without the eels trying to jump up.

Astrid was able to jump on my tail but because of the extra weight I didn't know my claws loosen on the wood of the sinking ship. "We're going to live!" Tuffnut exclaimed before I felt my claws finally break off the ship causing both me and Astrid to fall into the water. "Ahhh!" Astrid screamed. "Most of us is going to live!" Tuffnut exclaimed while I screamed, "OH SCALES!-" before hitting the water. I looked around finding Astrid right by me and giving her a smile before I saw something behind her. I looked over her shoulder and I screamed in the water. 'GIANT EELS BEHIND YOU!' I mentally yelled causing Astrid to pull out her axe while I threw blasts of condensed fire hot enough to boil water and if hit, it will be burned and boiled alive. I was able to hit a few eels but there were too many and I ran out of my fire since it was affected by my intense fear.

I was about to grab Astrid to save her until my brother and Hiccup dived into the water and brought back on to the boat with the rest of the gang. "Thanks Hiccup." Astrid thanked HIccup while I gave him and Toothless a lick of appreciation. "AH! Seriously Matt!" Hiccup groaned in disgust. I gave him an innocent look then Snotlout came by. "Pardon me." He said. "Does anyone think that Johan could have warned us about… I don't know… THE GIANT SCREAMING EELS!?" I nodded in complete agreement and growled before Hiccup gave me a glare. "Everytime something goes wrong with Johan's information, you are always on him! WHY!?" Hiccup yelled in bewilderment. I growled to make Hiccup back off but Toothless growled back. "Calm down, Nightshift or I will make you." I slowly calmed down and explained slowly. "I don't trust him Hiccup. And you know that my instincts are always right." I argued trying to convince Hiccup that Joahn isn't what he says he is. "Not always. Does almost killing the whispering death that killed your father, ring any bells?" Hiccup said sternly thinking he won but instead dropped when I snarled at him. "DON'T YOU DARE REMIND ME OF THAT MONSTER!" I roared before flying away as far as possible.

I watched as my brother flew away and he wasn't the only one angry. I put a hard slap on the back of Hiccup's head with my tail. "OW!" The viking exclaimed before turning to me. "How could you remind him of what happened? He's still hurting." I growled knowing that Hiccup could understand me since he is a mental shifter. My rider became sad and spoke in a sad voice. "I really messed up, didn't I?" He said before his girlfriend punched him in the shoulder. "OW!" "Yeah, I bet it hurts! Hiccup, What were you thinking!? You know he's still healing from the past, years ago!" Astrid yelled. At first I didn't like Astrid near my brother but overtime I saw the bond between them like me and him have and now whenever he's hurt, Astrid is never far behind. I nodded telling Hiccup what he did was wrong and that he'll have to make up for it. Hiccup turned his head in sadness and looked around spotting the ship, Johan was telling us about. "The Reaper. Hmm, what don't they want people to find?" I heard my rider say before my thoughts went to Nightshift.

'How could Hiccup remind me of that monster? Doesn't he know I'm still hurting?' I thought to myself before teleporting in front of Tuffnut and Ruffnut, scaring both of us. "AHHH!" we all screamed before stopping then screaming again. "WHY ARE WE SCREAMING!?" I yelled. "BECAUSE IT'S FUN!" Tuffnut yelled before screaming alongside his sister before I shifted into my human form and knocked their heads together. "Shut up, please. Let's just find-holy scales!" I was saying before I fell backwards when I tripped on a chest full of jewels. Tuffnut's eyes widened and gasped. "Jewels, jewels! You know what we're gonna do? We're bringing them back for the family. Mom will be so happy." Tuffnut exclaimed before turning to Ruffnut and me which I was still on my back. "Wait. How do we get these jewels out here?" He asked. Ruffnut then opened her mouth revealing many jewels. "*Gasps* Great idea, sis! I can't believe I didn't think about that. I may do it too." He said before shoving more jewels in his sister's mouth. "I also gonna put jewels in your mouth. Yeah! I gotta keep mine empty so I can talk."

I was looking shocked at what Tuffnut was doing before looking around and frowned. Everywhere was full of jewels and gems, which belonged to Johan. "Isn't it strange that our 'favorite' Johan has a lot of jewels and gems here, more than usual." I said with suspicion trying to convince the Twins that something is wrong. "Ah! Keep coming. Keep 'em coming. Ah! Ooh!" Ruffnut said, muffled by the jewels that Tuffnut constantly fills. "Uh, I guess but he is a trader. It's not like he's a master mind or something. HA! He's a scaredy cat." Tuffnut laughed but I didn't give up. "Maybe but the best master minds can be the most unexpected and you won't even know before it's too late. It takes years to gain trust then they strike. The perfect fake identity." I said with confidence.

Tuffnut's mouth widened and his eyes were huge with realization and I was overjoyed that he finally realized until. "I'm the most unexpected and you can never know what I'm about to do! I. AM. A. MASTERMIND!" He exclaimed while I just stared with one of my eyes twitching in anger. "YOU KNOW WHAT!? FORGET WHAT I SAID!" I yelled before teleporting to another part of the ship. "What's his problem? Oh well. Mastermind. I like the sound of that." Tuffnut said not thinking whatsoever as usual and continuing stuffing his sister's mouth with jewels.

Once I teleported I found a dazed Fishlegs kissing an old book like his life was on the line. I turned my head to the side and found other books, charts, and maps spread around like a tornado went through it. I turned back to Fishlegs and coughed to get his attention only to get a yelp and an embarrassed viking. "Matt! W-What a pleasant surprise, uh… look at all these books! The greatest treasure ever!" Fishlegs exclaimed trying to hide his embarrassment by changing directions to the books. I nodded in agreement and took one of the books off the ground. "Sire and Mother always said, 'knowledge is power' and I agree." I said looking at the book I held. "Hm, 'Tribes and Cultures.' I wonder if there is any information about Shifters and their culture?" "OH! That will be amazing, I always wanted to know what type of information about Shifters are. What they feed on, their living conditions, their mating habits, EVERYTHING!" Fishlegs exclaimed in excitement while I rolled my eyes. "Yeah but you can ask me since I'm a Shifter as well… except for the 'mating habits' part, of course." I said uncomfortable about answering that question. "Yeah but you don't know anything besides that you can become dragons." Fishlegs said trying not to offend me. "True." I said before I caught something in a corner.

I walked towards it and found a map about precise locations of islands that I have encountered and rested on before coming to the archipelago. Some of them look perfect for a base if we go beyond the archipelago. "Hiccup might like this." I whispered before putting the map in my shadowverse bag along with other items. "Where do you even fit all that stuff? Your bag is small!" Fishlegs exclaimed when I put more stuff in the bag. "Well while I am able to use my abilities, I learned that I can create dimensional portals like when I enter the shadowverse. It allows me to put items in and make sure they stay safe or teleport them to a different area. Being a night fury shifter has its perks." I said with a smirk before waving goodbye and teleporting to a different place. More specifically, the Reaper.

"I'm going to be rich! I'm gonna be rich! Rich, rich, rich, rich, rich!" Snotlout sings while I looked around opening boxes and sniffing while having a smile on my snout. "We're going to find some treasure! We're going to find some treasure! Treasure, treasure, treasure, treasure, treasure!" I sang along with Snotlout before spying a brown and silver chest. I motioned Snotlout to the box and we approached with glee. Snotlout for greed, while I for curiosity. "Well Wolf, what shall we say we open this ornate box?" Snotlout says waiting for my response. I nodded and roared, "Treasure!" Snotlout opened the box and pulled out the items inside which were… "HAIR! Ew!" Snotlout exclaimed in disgust while I sniffed the 'hair' and sneezed because of the dust. "Who keeps hair in a box?" I was confused and disappointed at not finding real treasure. "There's got to be more!" I took out more hair to my and Snotlout's dismay.

I'm starting to get frustrated. "More HAIR? WHAT A RIP-OFF!" I roared and threw it away which landed on Snotlout's helmet. I was about to turn away until Snotlout got my attention and pointed at a picture of some humans with the hair. "Or is it?" Snotlout said mysteriously while I stared at him confused on what he's thinking. Snotlout then put the hair at his chin and started to do a terrible impersonation of the chief. "I'm Stoick the Vast! Hiccup, you're such a disappointment! Why can't you be more like Snotlout?" He impersonated while I gave a cold glare at the mention of 'disappointment and Hiccup' in the same sentence. Snotlout then impersonated the twins which caused me a chuckle. "I'm Ruffnut… or am I Tuffnut? Who can tell? Haha!" He laughed and pulled out more hair and put it on his helmet. "I'm… Oh, actually, this is kind of nice." Snotlout said while I looked strangely at him. He looked completely ridiculous and after some curiosity, I took some hair and put it on my head then looked at a mirror nearby.

I looked completely weird and a thought came to me. "Why is it that I wear this type of hair, that a weird name called Donald Trump is mentioned?" I said taking off the hair and finally itching my head. 'Hair is so itchy I don't understand how Nightshift and any other humans deal with it' I thought and decided to go find my half who has probably calmed down by now and is with Hiccup and Toothless.

I teleported in the air and looked around finding Hiccup and Toothless on the Reaper. I frowned not wanting to talk to Hiccup but I realized that he probably felt bad about hurting my feelings so I decided to forgive him if he forgives me for roaring in his face. I was about to head down until I saw the anchor unexpectedly dropped followed by Hiccup's yell and him being connected to the rope. I shifted in my human form and dived bomb down towards the rope connected to Hiccup, who was very close to the edge and pulled my sword out. Once I landed I quickly cut the rope and caught Hiccup who was breathing heavily.

"Ok. Nobody goes to this much trouble unless there's something on this ship that they don't want found." Hiccup said walking to the entrance to the ship. "For once, Johan was right. This ship is a death trap." I snorted before glancing at the water and then ran to Hiccup and my brother. "I suppose Hiccup regrets what he said about my past?" I asked my brother when he glanced my way. Toothless sighed and turned to my direction "Yeah, I had to slap him really hard with my tail and Astrid's punching to get him to realize what he did was wrong. You're still angry?" I shook my head and replied, "No, I just needed a little alone time is all. You know how I can be when my past is brought up. Still think I can grab a female?" I joked at the end while Hiccup stepped in a bear trap with his metal leg. "Yep and you'll be on her like the nadders we saw last mating season." He smirked while I shivered in disgust and growled. "You promised me never to mention that! It's hard enough you force me to watch all that but to do nothing when a female, still in heat, approaches me and tries to mate with me!" I snarled in a whisper while Toothless gave me a growl. "I thought you could handle it. I thought she was just flirting but I stepped in when I finally realized what she was about to do, besides you saw it before with mother and sire doing it.

"Three things: One, You were a bit late to help. Two, that wasn't the first time a female tried her way with me. Remember the flightmare?" He looked confused but nodded when Hiccup set one of the traps loose. I took Hiccup on Toothless's back and dodged the arrows from hitting us while talking. "Yeah it was a female and we tried to lure it away. She froze me with her mist and tried to make me excited. Thank Noctis for the mist affecting my reproductive organs too. And Three, I was SEVEN YEARS OLD! I didn't even know about what sex is but in your term… Mating! Thanks for putting back that image of mother and sire in my head now, 'brother'! Useless eel eating reptile." I mumbled the last part while Toothless laughed at my expense confusing Hiccup.

He was about to ask but a quick shifter glare shut it and instead changed the subject on the door blocking our way to the captain's quarters. "Here's the plan-" I interrupted Hiccup's words by shooting the door down allowing us entrance. Hiccup looked back at the door then back to me. "I like yours better." I gave a smirk and sang, "Your welcome! Your welcome!" "What are you singing?" Toothless asked confused. I shrugged in reply. "No idea, I heard it from other islands long ways from here. Something about a demigod and an island princess." I said with a snort. Demigods are the worst in my opinion, even though I haven't met one. Once we entered the captain's cabin we saw a skeleton and something on its desk. It looked like some sort of telescope but… not. "What is this thing?" Hiccup asked while observing the strange device. "No idea, but whatever it is, if it's on this ship, it's dangerous to my kind and others. We can't leave it here for Dagur to take it." I said approaching the item being held by a skeleton hand. "Remember Breakneck Bog and Tuffnut pranking us? Ha! Good times."

I laughed then stopped having a goofy idea and grinned while pointing the bony arm in Hiccup's direction. "ARG ME MATEY! I'M CAPTAIN BONES! YOU CAME FOR MY TREASURE? YOU SNIVELING DRAGON RIDER! CAN YOU TAKE IT AND SURVIVE MY TRAPS!? HAHAHA! YOU'LL NEVER GET OUT ALIVE! HAHAHA!" I imitated a pirate captain's voice but soon went to normal and talked to the hand. "Yeah we are, Captain 'We-Don't-Care'" I said and threw the arm away. Hiccup and Toothless were not amused but blankly stared at me. "Are you done or are you going to be serious?" Hiccup said sarcastically while I sighed. "Tough crowd. Let's just grabbed the stupid thing." I said grabbing the item and teleporting on the front deck meeting an unexpected 'deranged' surprise.

"Matt! Did I surprise you? You sure surprised me! Wow you look different! Love the new armor by the way. Shows your dragon side." Dagur exclaimed observing my armor.

'Yeah during the last three years, I used the last of the gronckle armor I had from Fishlegs last gronckle iron adventure to make this armor and tried to improve it by putting my night fury scales on it but it was a failure until my goddess, Noctis visited me in a dream and remade the armor and a symbol symbolizing that she blessed it herself. Once I woke up there it was alongside a new black scaled gronckle iron blade also blessed.'

I stared at Dagur in astonishment and bewilderment and only one thing came to mind. "Wow. You have been working out. You actually look like a berserker now." I said dumbly observing Dagur's new muscles. Dagur looked smug and boasted about his muscles. "Well thank you! I always like it when you compliment me, brother. Have been working out in prison. OH! Speaking about brothers," Dagur paused for a moment before sneering. "Where's. Hiccup?" I narrowed my eyes and slowly reached for my blade but then an arrow landed right by my feet. I looked behind Dagur and saw two of his men aiming at me ready to shoot. I was about to charge until Hiccup and my brother appeared from the hull of the ship. "Welcome to the party, brother. We were about to play, 'Hit the Berserkers'. It's quite a fun and popular game three years ago. I might be a bit rusty, care to join?" I spoke jokingly in dragon to Toothless who was about to fire on the Berserkers until he noticed me and Hiccup's hold, he canceled his fire. "Yeah, just need to let Hiccup have his conversations as usual." Toothless growled and put his attention on the Berserker Chief. Dagur was ecstatic that Hiccup and Toothless joined the party as well.

"Hiccup! Did you miss me? 'Cause I miss you. Every day for three years, I thought about you." Dagur said before stepping to the right, revealing our friends in a cage. "Astrid!" Hiccup exclaimed while I and Toothless approached growling. NO ONE HARMS OUR FRIENDS! "And you too Night Fury brothers. Especially you Matt or is it Nightshift?" "Only my family and friends call me Matt. To you I'm Nightshift." I growled warningly still in my human form ready to slice him in bits. "Sorry, Hiccup. He got the drop on us while we were searching…" Astrid was saying before Dagur interrupted her explanation. "Uh, quiet! Can't you see my brothers and I are having a moment?" I snorted and harshly replied, "We are not your brothers." "And we are definitely not having a moment." Hiccup followed. Dagur looked disappointed and said, "Oh, well, I was." before getting excited again. "Look at you both, all grown up. And quite the ladies' man, I'd wager. Hmm? Hmm?"

I nodded in agreement. "I don't know about Hiccup but every female dragon I met wants a piece of me. But that isn't what you want to hear, is it?" I asked, glancing at the other berserkers. Snotlout started to speak up and… WHAT IN NOCTIS'S NAME IS HE WEARING!? "Duh, he wants the jewels." Snotlout said while flipping his new-found blonde hair. "He's not getting my family's jewels. No way! And I'll protect them at all costs!" Tuffnut exclaimed before turning to Snotlout in confusion. "Also, what is with that hair?" "Yeah, I'm wondering that myself." I said getting a laugh from the muttonhead. "Ha! It's royal hair, I'll have you know." "You look like a buffoon, Snotlout." I said blankly getting a crazy laugh from the berserker chief. "HAHAHA! GOOD ONE MATT! HAHAHA!" Dagur laughed before calming down. "Anyway, yes, I'll take the jewels. His too." Dagur motioned the closest berserker to hit Ruffnut stomach, who spit out all her jewels from her mouth. "Watch it, pal!" She screamed. Dagur's crew member laughed mockingly at her before Ruffnut spit a jewel down his throat making him gag.

Dagur and I flinched while he said, "Oops, thought that was the guy. Never can tell with those two." That was when the guard coughed the jewel out his throat and hit the side of Dagur's forehead but didn't do anything but a little flinch and then he turned to me. "And I'll also take whatever it is Matt is hiding behind his back. Come on, hand it over like a good dragon boy." Dagur motioned his men to aim at me and continued. "Brothers share, you know." I glanced at Hiccup and he nodded signifying me to hand the item over. I pulled the item from behind my back and gave the item to Dagur and growled. "I like to see how far you can go before I take that thing back, right?" I said in challenge, earning a grin from the crazy berserker. "Oh, boy, here we go. Must we always do the same dance, Matt and Hiccup, you and I? Not that you both are not fabulous dancers." Dagur said giving a side hug to me and Hiccup. "Don't you dare touch my brothers." My brother growled causing Hiccup to calm him down. "Easy, bud, not yet." "That's right, Mr Night Fury. Today is not the day, but it's coming! And soon. Now, if you'll excuse me. I've got people to see, an army to build, revenge to plot." Dagur then got ecstatic. "Ooh, so much to do and so little time! Isn't this exciting, Hiccup and Matt, You two… You two must have been so bored over the last three years." I turned to Hiccup and gave him what I think about Dagur's speech. "You have to admit, Hiccup. It has been quite boring and bland the last three years. Not enough explosions." I said getting a nod from Tuffnut. "Amen to that brother."

Dagur then put his hands on mine and Hiccup's shoulder getting really close to us. "Alas, my time here has come to an end. Farewell, for now, brothers. Until we meet again on the field of battle." He said before leaving the ship with his men. Once Dagur left the ship, Hiccup and I ran towards the cage with the gang in it and tried to open it but Astrid stopped us. "Forget about us! Go after him!" She said before Snotlout bumped by her yelling, "What are you waiting for!?" before blowing the hair out his face. We stared at him in confusion before we turned back to Astrid. "Are you sure you'll be okay?" Hiccup asked worriedly. "We're fine! Go!"

We nodded and took to the skies ready to take down Dagur. "Fire!" We heard then saw a boulder coming towards us. We dodged the incoming projectile and hovered above Dagur and his men. "You missed, brother!" Hiccup yelled but something didn't feel right. "Hiccup, you should know by now, I never miss." Dagur said smugly. That was when we realized he wasn't aiming for us but the ship! "OH NO!" "SCALES!" Hiccup and I yelled in realization, hearing our friends screaming for help on the sinking ship. Dagur laughed when we saw our conflict and spoke. "What's it going to be, Hiccup and Matt? Catch me, save your friends? Ooh, tough one! Glad I'm not in your shoe or scales! HAHAHAHA!"

It was either Dagur or our friends. I know what Hiccup would do but for me? I can't decide. I can probably chase him but then Hiccup wouldn't have my help from getting the others out but if I help Hiccup then Dagur would already escaped with his prize. Noctis? I pray to you to help me make the right decision.

OH NO! Nightshift and Hiccup are in a dire conflict. They have a choice to either chase their enemy or save their friends. Will they make the right choice? And where is Wolf, Nightshift's half? Well the adventure is just the beginning.
