Volume III: The Spider-Man
This will be the twenty-second chapter of Volume III, this chapter will bring about three Spider-Men in the same chapter as Peter Parker will become conflicted in his schedules as himself and as Spider-Man, he'll need to attend three events that will be impossible for him to accomplish alone, fortunately Miles and Gwen will step up to fill in his shoes at two events. Meanwhile Kraven the Hunter returns to the hunt bringing along his two children Alexei and Anastasia as they follow in their father's footsteps and join the hunt for Spider-Man, this hunt will endanger someone in Spider-Man's live as the Kravinoffs will use her as bait to draw out Spider-Man, but which one will come to her rescue in time? This will bring Doctor Octopus as he contacts Kraven to rejoin his team for his grand plan for the world.

The day is April 17th, in a Caribbean country Haiti, Sergei Kravinoff has taken refuge here with his lover Calypso since his escape from the Raft, meanwhile he's out on in the wild overseeing the training of his two children, the eldest is his son Alexei, 21 year old male with long black hair and a beard, the other is a 19 year old female daughter name Anastasia or Ana for short, she's got wavy spiky blonde hair with a ponytail, both siblings are dressed in a same manner as their father and armed with tools for hunting. They're out hunting for a crocodile of large size, Ana has a machete in one hand and a net on the other, Alexei has a bow with an arrow pulled on the drawstring, both hunter sees the crocodile coming out of the water going on a hunt of it's own for food, Alexei is anxious to shoot but Kraven knows otherwise.
"Patience Alexei, the hunter knows when it's time to attack its prey." Kraven advising his son.
"Relax father, you've trained us these past few months." Ana said.
"Just have faith." Alexei still drawing his arrow.
"I do." Kraven said.
The crocodile spotted a hutia roaming around, it then makes its move to capture its prey to eat, the hutia is running away while the crocodile is chasing after it to devour, Ana came out tossing the net all around the crocodile, trapping it inside unable to shake it off, Alexei has a lock on the crocodile, he released and fired the arrow from his bow, the arrow pierced through its head, killing it instantly, Kraven is impressed in his children's hunting skills.
"Very good!" Kraven smiled.
Ana walked up and removed the net off of the dead crocodile with an arrow in its head, she has a machete in her hand, she swings it down upon the crocodile's head, decapitating it with all her strength.
Ana looks at her family and smiles. "Anyone hungry?"

The sun is setting down in Haiti as nighttime finally came, the Kravinoffs are still out in the wild barbecuing the crocodile they've hunted earlier today, Ana and Alexei are eating the crocodile meat as they've worked up quite an appetite from the hunt, meanwhile Kraven is impressed with everything his children accomplished using the hunting techniques he taught them, he certainly trained them very well.
"How's the meat?" Kraven asking about the meal.
Alexei chewing down the meat. "Hmm... it's very tender."
"I'm so proud of you both." Kraven said.
"We are Kravinoffs, hunting is in our blood, father, and thanks to the training you've gave us, we are ready for the bigger challenge, the one that you still haven't overcome... Spider-Man." Ana said.
"I admire your eagerness, Ana, but you're both not ready to take him on just yet, Spider-Man isn't like the others, he's very extraordinary, I've come across him both times and always ends up defeated both times too." Kraven said.
"That was before you took him on all alone, this time you shall have us, together we shall take down Spider-Man as a family." Alexei said.
"He's right, father, let us join you in the next hunt." Ana said.
Kraven smiled. "If you are to see this through, then you'll need power and I know just who to go to."

The Kravinoffs headed back into town, eventually they made it to the residence of Sergei's lover Calypso, a Wakandan priestess whom Sergei saved from a wild panther she crossed paths with during his time in Wakanda, here at her home in Haiti she practice voodooism and she grows heart shaped herbs in her private garden, the very same plant she used to create a potion she gave to her lover to save his life, she stopped watering the plants as she sees her lover with his children back from their hunt.
"Sergei, my love, how was the hunt?" Calypso smiled and greeted her lover.
"Perfect, my Calypso, my son and daughter have refined their skill greatly, now they are ready for the next step." Kraven said.
Calypso knows what Kraven means by the next step, she then took two heart shaped herbs she secretly bred without the Wakandans noticing, she went to her workbench and began to refine them into potions to be consumed, after she's done she puts them into two bowl cups, she then present each of Sergei's children with potions to enhanced their physical abilities beyond that of a normal human being, just like what Calypso has done for her beloved years ago and made him into the man he is now.
"Upon these potions, you shall have the strengths of kings, drink!" Calypso holding each cup in her hands.
Alexei and Ana each took a cup from Calypso and drank them in, upon consuming the potions, they could feel the effects of the heart shaped herbs doing to their bodies, they're undergoing a change and became stronger than ever before. After it's done, they felt different than ever as Alexei walks up to the punching bag his father would use for his training, he strikes with a punch that is more stronger, strong enough to knock it off the chains and breaking it apart, Ana is impressed as she went outside and jumps up towards the top of the house, Ana smiled as she likes this new change of hers, Sergei could see that his children are as strong as he is now, stronger enough to help him in his next hunt, Ana jumps down from the roof and lands next to her brother Alexei.
"I take it these new gifts are to your liking." Kraven smiled.
"This is awesome, father!" Alexei is excited.
"Very awesome!" Ana is also excited.
"Good, then you're both ready, rest up, for tomorrow we head for New York for the big hunt, Spider-Man." Kraven said.
Alexei and Ana finally got the opportunity to join their father on his biggest hunt of his life, they're very eager to prove themselves being the son and daughter of the greatest hunter by helping their father in hunting down the one prey that has always been a challenge even for him, Spider-Man.
The day is April 18th, the time is 3:56 PM at Time Square where a news report is being showed off on the Jumbotron to the whole crowd about the rise of Inhumans in the past two weeks since the day called Terrigenesis and many undergone a change as the world is now changed forever, recent footage of an Inhuman in South America displaying super speed is being shown off.
"We're still on the story about the rise of these new subspecies of humans finally classified as Inhumans ever since that strange mist descended down from space two weeks ago, here in Colombia we have a young woman, Elena Rodriguez, who has been identified as an Inhuman after she undergone a change called Terrigenesis, sometime after emerging from the cocoon, one of the locals managed to capture her performance on his smart phone, this young lady displayed incredible speed as she ran faster than the naked eye could see, there are still more Inhumans out there in the world yet to be identified, we can only ho..."
The news got cut off as the Jumbotron got riddled with bullets as Hippo is destroying it with his mini gun, the shards are falling down as people around Time Square panics and runs away from the scene as Hippo is causing chaos, the NYPD finally arrived to see a strange Hippopotamus standing on two legs and can talk armed with weapons unleashing havoc and causing damage, Yuri Watanabe is at the scene and pulls out a megaphone to speaks with this villain.
"You, talking hippopotamus, drop your weapons!" Yuri Watanabe speaking through the megaphone.
Hippo then turns around and fires off bullets at the officers hiding behind their squad cars for protection, Hippo then drops the mini gun and switches to a RPG, Yuri took a peek to see Hippo aiming the RPG in their direction.
"RUN!" Yuri Watanabe yells out.
Hippo fired the RPG, Yuri and some officers ran away as the rocket blew up the squad car, the blasting shockwave knocked them off their feet as they fell down to the ground, Yuri is still feeling ringing in her ears from the explosion along with her officers, Hippo then pulls out a grenade and pulls the pin, Yuri is getting worried as he tossed it towards them, all of a sudden a webbing fired upon the grenade and veered it in the other direction, it exploded. Coming in swing, Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid jumped down to see a talking Hippopotamus here, Yuri smiled as the heroes came to her rescue as always, Spider-Man recognized him from before as one of High Evolutionary's knights, Hippo finally sees the hero again and he didn't come alone.
"Spider-Man, we meet again!" Hippo said.
"Spidey, you know this talking Hippo?" Kid Arachnid said.
"Yeah, he's one of the High Evolutionary's warriors I've faced off against, didn't expect to see you again to be honest, I though you left this world with your master." Spider-Man said.
"Unfortunately no, thanks to you, I was left stranded here, unable to go home. I was once a knight in service of the great High Evolutionary himself, now I've been left for dead here alone, far away from home, reduced to being a common thug in this hellhole. Took me weeks to find out that you operate out here, fought my way to get here, I was hoping to find you with those twins responsible for leaving me here, but you'll have to do." Hippo explained.
Hippo picks up the mini gun and started shooting upon the three spider heroes as they scatter away, Hippo kept his focus on Spider-Man as the hero is jumping and swinging around avoiding the bullets, Ghost-Spider is swinging around in the opposite direction firing some webshots at Hippo who is left unprotected, Hippo freed one hand to use his arm to protect himself, coming in swinging is Kid Arachnid executing a drop kick and knocked Hippo back hard against a police cruiser, Kid Arachnid landed down in a three point stance. Hippo quickly gets back up and picks up the cruiser with his strength, he tossed towards Kid Arachnid on the ground, the young hero jumps away as the car came down crashing.
"Whoa, that was too close!" Kid Arachnid said.
Hippo quickly picks up the mini gun and started shooting upon Kid Arachnid, but Spider-Man stepped in and summons the web shield to protect himself and his friend, Hippo still unleashes a barrage of bullets as Spider-Man is trapped holding the shield up unable to move, Ghost-Spider came in swing from behind and jumps down to drop kick Hippo on the head hard, Hippo lost his bearings and stopped firing, Spider-Man took the opportunity to strike back by tossing the web shield towards Hippo and knocked him off his feet. Hippo is attempting to get back up, but Ghost-Spider fires a couple of webbing upon Hippo's hands, Spider-Man and Kid Arachnid both webbed up Hippo's legs and feet down to the ground, Hippo is trapped and immobilized. Yuri and the NYPD are relieved to see that the heroes manage to subdue a supervillain as always, Yuri walks up to the heroes to speak with Spider-Man about something.
"One Hungry Hungry Hippo down, looks like we win the game." Spider-Man makes a joke.
"Impressive work, Spidey, this city is lucky to have you protecting it, this city hardly needs the police these days." Yuri Watanabe said.
"Come on, Captain, that's not true, as great as we are, even we can't protect all of New York by ourselves, we're lucky to have the support of New York's finest on our side." Spider-Man said.
"Actually, that's what I want to talk to you about, 1PP is about to have a conference to discuss how to improve police work to the city, we like for you, just you to come and talk with us to give us your opinion on how to protect the city better." Yuri Watanabe said.
"Yeah, sure, if it'll help the city, I'll go." Spider-Man said.
"Great, it's tomorrow at 4 PM sharp at 1PP." Yuri Watanabe said.
Spider-Man is stunned. "Tomorrow? 4 PM?"
"Yes, why?" Yuri Watanabe said.
"Tomorrow I'm supposed to attend a fundraiser at F.E.A.S.T., at that same time." Spider-Man said.
Yuri Watanabe sighed. "Look, I respect that you want to show up for charity, but this is very important, if we can improve on protect this city better, then we might save so many lives in the future, isn't that more important?"
Spider-Man nodded his head. "Yeah, you're right, I'll be there."
"Thank you... remember, 4 PM sharp." Yuri Watanabe said before walking away.
Spider-Man sighed. "Great... how am I suppose to tell Aunt May that I can't be at the fundraiser as Spider-Man?"
"Let's go, Pete, we'll figure something out." Ghost-Spider said.
Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid swings away from Time Square after they're done subduing Hippo and left him in NYPD custody, Spider-Man is feeling conflicted over his schedule for the fundraiser at F.E.A.S.T. and the NYPD conference, what is he to do?
Later in Chinatown at F.E.A.S.T., the whole staff is working overtime setting up the shelter for tomorrow's fundraiser where Spider-Man will personally make an appearance for charity, May is supervising the setup with Mary Jane volunteering and helping Rio set up the decorations, Peter along with Gwen and Miles came into the shelter to see everyone is super busy, Peter has a sad look on his face as he'll have to tell Aunt May the bad news, around the shelter, multiple TV's are playing a talk show where Jameson is making an appearance speaking about his vision as mayor.
"Mr. Jameson, what is your real reason for running for mayor?"
"Good question, the answer to that is quite simple, I've lived here my entire life, it's my home and my lifeblood, for decades I've served the public by providing the people with the truth, but now I simply want to give back to the community by taking up the mantle as mayor, that's why I want to ask everyone come to mayoral debate where I'll be facing off against my opponent, the current District Attorney Bill Hollister, I know that I'll be facing obstacles in my road to become mayor, but I'll fight to my last breath for this city no matter what, that's my promise to you, the people of New York City."
May stopped working to find Peter coming her way and not looking too happy, even Mary Jane noticed it as she stopped doing the decorations, she joined up with May to greet Peter, Gwen, and Miles in the office for a private chat away from prying eyes, Mary Jane closed the door for some privacy to talk.
"Hey Tiger, we all saw you guys out there taking down that Hippo guy, nice work. Though, I'm sensing you're not too happy about it." Mary Jane said.
"No, not at all, taking Hippo down was a piece of cake, but we got some bad news to share with you." Peter said.
"What's wrong, Peter?" May is curious.
"I'm sorry Aunt May, I might not make it to the fundraiser tomorrow." Peter said.
"What? Why?" May is stunned.
"I'm supposed to attend a police conference at their headquarters, it's during the same time as the fundraiser, and I agreed to come, I'm so sorry Aunt May, this whole thing was unexpected." Peter felt bad for letting Aunt May down.
May sighed. "And here people would show up because they get to meet you in person, encourages philanthropists to come and listen, this place is a non profit, always has been, if we don't come up with money to keep this place going, then I'm afraid we'll be forced to close it down."
"I know Aunt May, believe me, the last thing I want to do is let you down during this time of need, but this conference is also important too, if I talk with the NYPD to discuss improving relations, then we might do better for the whole city." Peter explained.
"You're right, I guess I'll have to tell everyone that Spider-Man won't show up tomorrow." May is being understanding.
"Hold on, I have an idea." Miles said.
"Go ahead, Miles, we're all ears." Peter said.
"Why don't I go in your place and you can attend the fundraiser." Miles suggested.
"Miles, they explicitly asked for Spider-Man, not Kid Arachnid. How do you expect Spider-Man to show up to the conference?" Peter said.
"Ah... I'll figure something out, the important thing is you attend the fundraiser tomorrow for your Aunt." Miles said.
Peter felt relieved. "Alright, I'll be here at the fundraiser while you go in my place, I hope you know what you're doing, Miles."
"Yeah, me too." Miles said.
"Then it's all settled, what could go wrong?" Gwen said.
All of a sudden, Peter's phone is ringing as he pulls it out to see Betty Brant is calling.
"It's Betty." Peter answered the call and held the phone to his ear. "Hey Betty, what'd you need?"
"Hey Pete, I'm calling cause Jameson needs to see you here at the Bugle right now, it's important." Betty said.
"What is it?" Peter said.
"I'm not sure, but it must be important if he wants you here, please come on by." Betty said.
"Sure thing, Betty, I'll be right there." Peter hangs up the call.
"What is it, Tiger?" Mary Jane is curious.
"Not sure, Jameson needs me at the Bugle right now for something, most likely he wants the photos I might've took earlier. Sorry to bail on you all, but I gotta go." Peter said.
"Sure, take care Pete." Gwen said.
Gwen gave Peter a quick kiss before he left, right now Miles is brainstorming a way for him to go in Peter's place for tomorrow's police conference while Peter will be here at the fundraiser for his aunt.
Around 5:56 PM at the Daily Bugle, Peter steps out of the elevator carrying an folder and walks down the floor to see the place is super busy doubling as both a newspaper tabloid and a campaign office, meanwhile Jameson is in his office watching the recent news about this new supervillain called Hippo who was responsible for the attack on Time Square and giving the NYPD a hard time, but was subdued by Spider-Man and his friends, Hippo is taken into police custody.
"Earlier in Time Square, a strange and yet unnamed being called Hippo wrecked havoc around Time Square, even the NYPD were having trouble containing the situation, but luckily thanks to the heroes, Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid, Hippo is finally in custody for his crimes here in New York, he's also committed several crimes in Mombasa when he attacked an airport and hijacked an aircraft he used to get here, the streets are safe once again."
Peter finally made it and enters the office as Jameson used the remote to turn off the TV, he turns his attention to Parker as he's got an important assignment for him.
"Parker, you made it, sit down." Jameson said.
Peter sits down and hands Jameson a folder. "Here, I got you the photos of the event of Time Square."
Jameson opens up to look up the photos of Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid fighting and defeated Hippo together.
"Not bad, but that's not why I called you here, I need you for something." Jameson said.
"I'm listening." Peter is all ears.
"I need a photographer for a mayoral debate tomorrow, my photographer got hit in the head by a pollo ball, you're all I got, I'll even double your fee for this." Jameson said.
"Tomorrow? When exactly?" Peter is stunned.
"Around 4 PM, that's when, why? Got somewhere to be?" Jameson said.
"Actually yeah, I'm needed at the fundraiser my aunt is hosting at F.E.A.S.T. during that same time. Sorry Jameson, afraid I'll have to turn down that offer." Peter said.
"Parker, I admire that you want to support your aunt, I really do, but this debate is more important, I need you there to take photos. If you're not there tomorrow snapping photos, then you're fired. I'm sorry that it had to come to this, but I'm sure you can make a sacrifice just this once." Jameson gave him an ultimatum.
Peter sighed. "I'll be there."
"Good." Jameson writes a check and hands it to Peter. "Here 300 for the photos. Remember, 4 PM sharp, there's the door."
Peter took the check for the photos and walks out of the office, he's feeling more conflicted that ever before, it's bad enough he has to attend both the police conference and the fundraiser as Spider-Man, but now he's forced to attend the mayoral debate during that time as Peter Parker, he's got three events to attend at the same time. Peter then spotted a pastry box on the table containing one cheese danish, he took it and walks away eating it. Jameson came out of the office towards the table and noticed something is missing.
"HEY! WHO THE HELL TOOK MY DANISH?!" Jameson yells out.
Peter heard Jameson's voice and noticed that the cheese danish he's got on his mouth is his, he quickly walks away unnoticed before anyone got wise.
Around 6:30 PM at JFK airport, many passengers onboards the flight from Haiti are disembarking from the craft including Sergei along with Alexei and Ana as they walked up to the baggage area to pick up their luggage, they each carry suitcases containing their suits and gears for the hunt, afterwards they've walked up to TSA and handed them their fake passports to be checked, Sergei needed it as he's still a fugitive in the eyes of the law, he remains calm as he can hoping that his new identity hasn't been flagged or that someone would recognize him, the computer ran the passport and it checks out, he's clean.
"You're all clear, enjoy your stay."
"I intend to." Kraven smiled as he took back his passport.
Sergei, Alexei, and Ana made their way through the terminal towards the gate, they took loaded their luggage onto the trunk of the cab and climbed inside, the cab left the airport and made its way through Queens, Sergei is back in New York after months since his escape from the Raft, Ana and Alexei looked out the window to see the city where the biggest hunt shall be challenged, Kraven is back on the hunt and this time he's brought his children to aid him in the hunt for Spider-Man.
Time is 7:31 PM at Brooklyn Visions Academy where Miles Morales is walking back and forth figuring out how to fill Spider-Man's shoes for the conference at 1PP, Ganke is laid back on his bed reading a comic, but Miles' constant back-and-forth walks are making things difficult for Ganke to read in peace.
"Miles, could you please not walk back and forth every time?" Ganke said.
Miles stopped walking. "Sorry, I'm just thinking of a way to help Peter with his scheduling conflict, I'm supposed to go in Peter's place to the conference while he's busy attending the fundraiser as Spider-Man."
"Yeah, that's a real catch-22, so got any ideas?" Ganke said.
"Nah, still haven't figured out how to get Spider-Man to that conference and at that fundraiser. Man, it's hard." Miles feeling frustrated.
"Don't worry, Miles, you'll figure something out. But I get it, there's no way Spider-Man can be at two places at once." Ganke said.
Miles then has an idea from what Ganke has said, there is a way for Spider-Man to be at both events at the same time.
Miles smiled. "Ganke, I have an idea."
"What is it?" Ganke said.
"Wait here, I'm going to head down to the Spider-Cave to fetch something that can help, thanks for coming up with the brilliant idea." Miles said as he heads into the bathroom about to change.
Ganke looked clueless. "What did I say?"
Miles came out wearing the Kid Arachnid suit. "I'll be back soon, don't wait up."
Kid Arachnid jumps out of the window and swings away, Ganke still has no idea what Miles has planned.
Around 8:04 PM at the Parker Residence in Queens, Gwen and May are in the kitchen baking some cookies for the fundraiser tomorrow, the cookies are all shaped like Spider-Man's head, they even apply frostings to make it red, blue, and white like Spider-Man, coming in through the front door is Peter.
"Hey Pete, check it out, Spider-Man cookies." Gwen holds up a sample.
"Very nice, Gwen." Peter smiled reluctantly.
Gwen sensed something with Peter by his expression. "What's wrong, Pete? Jameson gave you a low pay for the photo."
"Nah, he paid me 300 bucks for them, but's not why I'm like this. I something to tell you, Aunt May." Peter said.
"What is it, Peter?" May said.
"Afraid I'm not going to attend the fundraiser tomorrow as I'd hoped, Jameson put me on photography job at the mayoral debate tomorrow, and it's during the fundraiser." Peter explained.
"Again?" May said.
"I know, I had my hopes to keep my promise to you, but now this whole thing took me by surprise, I'm sorry Aunt May." Peter said.
May sighed. "It's okay, Peter, it is what it is, guess I'll have to let everyone know that Spider-Man won't be making an appearance tomorrow."
"Here, Pete, to lift your spirits." Gwen offered Peter a cookie.
Peter smiled and eats the Spider-Man cookie Gwen made, Peter walks up to his room, Gwen is worried since Peter was able to dodge a bullet because Miles agreed to go to the police conference tomorrow so Spider-Man would show up at the fundraiser, but now this whole thing came to Peter at a bad time, he's forced to attend the mayoral debate around that time, Peter has three events to go at the same time, Gwen wants to do something to help Peter, but what exactly?
It's 8:31 PM at a warehouse in the Bronx, Kraven has setup shelter here along with his children, Kraven couldn't chance using a hotel or a motel as people in New York recognize his face and he's still wanted by the law for his escape, they're unpacking their luggage full of their suits needed for the hunt, but they lack tools and weapons needed for the great hunt for Spider-Man.
"I still don't understand why we couldn't bring our weapons with us?" Ana said.
"We can't fly a commercial plane with anything used as a weapon, our suits are the only thing we can transport. But don't worry, I know New York and where we can get the tools we need for the hunt." Sergei said.
"Give me an address and we'll go fetch them." Alexei said.
Sergei writes it down onto a piece of paper and hands it to his son, Alexei and Ana walks out of the warehouse to fetch the tools and weapons needed for the hunt, leaving Sergei alone. All of a sudden, Sergei's burner phone is ringing, which caught him by surprise since he recently got it upon arrival, he checks the caller ID to see that it's a blocked number, he's curious to find out who's calling, he answered the call and held the phone to his ear.
"Who is this?" Sergei said.
"Hello Mr. Kravinoff, remember me?" Doctor Octopus' voice.
"How'd you get this number?" Sergei said.
"I like to keep tabs on my allies such as yourself, Kraven." Doctor Octopus said.
"What do you want?" Sergei said.
"I want you to join me and my team again for my grand plan." Doctor Octopus said.
"Last time I followed you, I was defeated and locked up in a cage for a year, I won't make that same mistake twice." Sergei said.
"Do you honestly believe you can defeat Spider-Man alone?" Doctor Octopus said.
"I'm not alone, I have my children to join the hunt, together we will defeat Spider-Man as a family. So I don't need you, goodbye." Sergei hangs up the phone.
Sergei is worried that he's being watched by Doctor Octopus ever since they've parted ways after their escape from the Raft, he's still wants no part in Doctor Octopus' plan since the last time he followed him, he lost and sent away to the Raft, now things are different, he has his children to support him on the hunt for Spider-Man.
Later around 9:03 PM at the Watson Residence, Gwen Stacy is hanging out with Mary Jane in her bedroom with her pet dog Ms. Lion, Gwen is sharing her worries about Peter's conflicted schedule for tomorrow, he has to be at three places at the same time, Gwen wants to do something to help Peter like Miles did, but what exactly she still hasn't figure out, Gwen pets Ms. Lion as the dog enjoyed it, he barks and smiles, making Gwen and Mary Jane smile too.
"So Peter is going to a mayoral debate for Jameson at that same time?" Mary Jane said.
"Unfortunately yes, this whole thing took us by surprise, just when Miles volunteered to go in his place, this happened." Gwen said.
Mary Jane sighed. "I feel sorry for Peter, the poor guy can't seemed to take a break from anything, must be typical Parker Luck."
"Tomorrow May is going to have to tell everyone that Spider-Man won't be showing in person, most likely this will deal a big blow to F.E.A.S.T., the whole shelter is hanging on by a thread, if we don't get any investment, she'll be forced to shut it down." Gwen explained.
"That's true, it's too bad that Spider-Man can't be a three places at once." Mary Jane said.
Gwen then thought up of something by Mary Jane's conversation about Spider-Man being at three places at once, maybe there is a way for Spider-Man to be there at the fundraiser, Gwen smiled as Mary Jane noticed.
"What is it, Gwen?" Mary Jane said.
Gwen smiled. "I think I might know a way to help Peter with his schedule."
"What do you have in mind?" Mary Jane said.
Later back at the warehouse, Ana and Alexei just returned back with everything they needed for tomorrow's hunt for Spider-Man, including useful information that will make it easier to find Spider-Man in one place, Ana picked up a machete and swings it around to see that its too her liking, Alexei got a compound bow with a quiver equipped with sharp deadly arrows, Sergei gazed upon the bolas, smoke bombs, crossbows, and hunting traps needed to take on Spider-Man and his friends.
"Here we are, father, with everything needed for the hunt." Alexei holding up the bow.
"Impressive, you both take after me in so many ways. Looks like we're all set for tomorrow's hunt." Sergei is proud.
"Even better, we come barring good news... tomorrow there's a fundraiser happening in Chinatown in a place called F.E.A.S.T., apparently Spider-Man will personally show up to that event for charity." Ana shares the good news.
Sergei smiled. "Tomorrow is the day we get our trophy, Spider-Man is going to die."
The day is April 19th, time is 2:45 PM at Midtown High, the school bell rang as school ended for the day, Peter, Gwen, and Mary Jane are walking out of campus together getting ready for the big day, Peter is still on edge about this conflicting schedule he's good, but luckily Gwen came up with a solution to go in Peter's place at the fundraiser. Betty is coming out of the school catching up to Peter and is beside him.
"Let's go, Pete, Jameson needs us at the debate soon." Betty said.
"Sure Betty, I'll catch up." Peter said as Betty walks up ahead, Peter turns his attention to Gwen and Mary Jane. "Gotta go."
"Take care, Tiger." Mary Jane said.
"Good luck." Gwen said.
Peter left Gwen and Mary Jane, walks with Betty heading to the debate, meanwhile Gwen and Mary Jane has something planned for the fundraiser.
"Do you have it?" Mary Jane said.
Gwen holds up her backpack and opens up to show a Spider-Man suit inside.
"Got it." Gwen said.
"Good, looks like we're all set for the fundraiser." Mary Jane said.
"Let's hope Miles is doing better at his end." Gwen said.
Later around 3:15 PM at Brooklyn Visions Academy, Ganke is in the dorm room waiting for Miles to come out of the bathroom as he's got something planned for the police conference he's going in Peter's place, Ganke is still waiting but Miles is taking up too much time inside.
"Are you done in there?" Ganke calling out to Miles.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Miles inside the bathroom.
The bathroom door opens up, Ganke got to see Miles dressed in a Spider-Man suit, Miles is planning to go as Spider-Man.
"How do I look?" Miles shows off in the suit.
Ganke smiled and gave a thumbs up. "Just like Spider-Man."
"Funny, many people called me Spider-Man before I became Kid Arachnid, too bad there can't be more than two Spider-Men, well at least until today." Miles puts on the mask.
"Hope you can sell it and they buy it." Ganke said.
"Wish me luck." Miles is now Spider-Man.
"Good luck... Spider-Man." Ganke said.
Miles gave the thumb up and climbs out the window, Miles is swinging around towards the city dressed as Spider-Man, a lot of people in the neighborhood sees Spider-Man swinging and waved to him, this whole playing Spider-Man thing is working as they're convinced.
Later around 3:35 PM at F.E.A.S.T, a huge number of people attended the fundraiser including some philanthropists willing to donate money to fund this place as long as they get convinced by Spider-Man this place is worth saving, including children holding up red and blue balloons wanting to meet Spider-Man who agreed to come here for charity, May is walking through the crowd reaching her private office where Mary Jane is helping Gwen tighten up her chest to hide her assets while impersonating Spider-Man, she's already wearing the bottom part of the suit, May came in and sees that this is too much for Gwen to handle.
"Are you alright, dear?" May said.
Gwen felt tighten in her chest. "Is this really necessary?"
"Come on, Gwendolyne Stacy, you wanted to be Spider-Man, the last thing you want is for anyone to notice any differences." Mary Jane tighten the corset around Gwen's chest, making Gwen flinch. "There, that should do it."
Gwen felt her chest tighten in the corset. "It's making it harder to breath."
"Suck it up, it's only for an hour, just making an appearance, speak and wave to the crowd, maybe get some photos. You can do this, for Peter." Mary Jane giving Gwen encouragement.
Gwen sighed. "Okay, for Peter."
Gwen then puts on the top part and she is now dressed as Spider-Man.
"How do I look?" Gwen showing off in the suit.
"Not bad, though you might want to do something about your voice, try to sound like Spider-Man as much as possible." Mary Jane suggested.
Gwen coughs trying to change her voice to match Spider-Man's. "How is this?"
"Eh... it'll do." Mary Jane is somewhat impressed.
"Thank you for doing this, Gwendy, it means a lot." May is grateful.
"Of course, anything to help my family, that's what you and Peter are." Gwen said.
"You're our family too, Gwendolyne." May said.
"Okay, the show is about to start in 25 minutes, get ready." Mary Jane said.
Gwen puts on the mask and becomes Spider-Man in Peter's place.
Around 3:57 PM outside of 1PP, Captain Yuri Watanabe is wearing her uniform for this conference, she's waiting for Spider-Man to show up as he promised, all of a sudden coming in swing through the air, he swung in closer to the ground and landed down in a three point stance right in front of Yuri, she's glad that he's keeping his word, Miles is dressed as Spider-Man for this conference.
"Spider-Man, glad you came. Had some doubts." Yuri Watanabe said.
"I'm here, aren't I? I'm keeping my word." Spider-Man/Miles said.
"Let's go inside, they're waiting." Yuri Watanabe said.
Yuri leads the way for Spider-Man as this whole facade is working, nobody noticed, not even Yuri. Spider-Man enters police headquarters as a number of police staff greeted the hero. Eventually they got off the elevator and made it to the conference room where a number of police brass are assembled, captains, lieutenants, sergeants, including someone he didn't expect to see, his father, Sergeant Jefferson Davis, is part of this meeting, it caught him by surprise.
"Greetings Spider-Man, please take a seat." Jefferson Davis said.
Spider-Man listened and sits down in the chair, as did Yuri along with everyone else.
"Now that we're all here, we can get started." Yuri Watanabe said.
Elsewhere in the city, the mayoral debate is about to begin within two minutes, mayoral candidate J Jonah Jameson is here along with his right hand man Robbie Robertson and his son John Jameson who came to show support, Jameson is greeting city officials and supporters, Peter is here with his trusty camera along with Betty Brant, Peter is still a bit disappointed that he couldn't be there for his Aunt at the fundraiser, he only hopes things are working out for her at the end.
"Parker! Take the photo of me with the councilman!" Jameson orders.
Peter took the photo of Jameson shaking hands with the councilman, Jameson the looks across the room to see his opponent, District Attorney Bill Hollister meeting with some people accompanied by his seventeen year old daughter Lily, a dark skinned blonde teenage girl who came to support her father, Bill is done shaking hands with the people as he's about to head backstage.
"Okay Jonah, it's time." Robbie reminded Jameson.
"Good luck, dad." John said.
Jameson smiled as he walks towards the backstage getting ready for the debate, Peter and Betty joins up with John and Robbie along with most of the press. Jameson is at one side of the backstage while Bill is on the other side.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the mayoral debate is about to begin, coming in from my left is District Attorney Bill Hollister!"
Bill Hollister came out and waved to the crowd, people cheered for him, this man is well known for his work in the prosecution of Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, he takes the stage and turns back to his daughter Lily who waved to him feeling proud for her father. Jameson could see that he's got quite a competition in his quest to become mayor.
"And to my right, welcome the Daily Bugle's Editor-in-chief J Jonah Jameson!"
Jameson steps out and waves to the crowd, a decent amount of people are cheering for him, despite his personal vendetta against Spider-Man, people remember him volunteering to run for mayor when the former mayor resign from office due to all the chaos this city endured, he even stood up to Rhino who wanted the city for himself and people followed Jameson's example to fight for their home. Peter is taking photos along with the other photographers here as Jameson and Hollister are shaking hands and going to their respective posts to start the debate.
Back in Chinatown outside of F.E.A.S.T., the whole crowd gather around for the fundraiser including philanthropists all eager to meet Spider-Man, meanwhile on another rooftop, Gwen Stacy dressed as Spider-Man is looking down at F.E.A.S.T., May Parker is taking the stage about to make her speech, Mary Jane is among the crowd, she turns and looks up to see Gwen is awaiting for the signal to make her appearance by swinging down and greeting the crowd, she puts on the mask.
"Hello New York, welcome to F.E.A.S.T., thank all for making the time, this shelter is in dire need of funds to keep it alive, for over the past two years, this shelter has made a great difference for the homeless of this city, we provide warm meals and good nights rest to those in need, we also provide medical treatment to those who are injured or sick, we have staff training those in need of skills to get back on their feet and become productive citizens." May said.
"Ms. Parker, what inspired you to help the homeless in the first place?"
"Excellent question, my husband, Ben Parker, Rest In Peace, he would often give a lending hand to those who need it without hesitation, just like someone who we all know too well, someone who never ask for anything in return, someone who isn't afraid to jump into a burning building to save a person, someone who risk his life to keep these streets safe. Ladies and Gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to our very own... SPIDER-MAN!" May gave the signal.
Gwen Stacy dressed as Spider-Man jumps down from the rooftop and came in swinging as many people on the ground are cheering and waving to the hero, she swings in closer and high five a few in the crowd while still swinging towards the podium, she made it on top of the archway of the podium, showing off her style yelling "SHAZAM!", then she repels down the web line while waving to the crowd upside down, she then jump and lands on her feet next to May Parker, everyone is convinced that this is the real deal, nobody suspects that she's really Ghost-Spider posing as Spider-Man, this whole act is working. Meanwhile on another rooftop, Kraven along with Ana and Alexei are looking down to see Spider-Man here in the flesh waving to the crowd, soon they'll make their move for the hunt.
Meanwhile at One Police Plaza, headquarters of the NYPD, a number of captains, lieutenants, and sergeants are attending this meeting, including Yuri Watanabe, Jefferson Davis, and an African American female name Misty Knight, are discussing improvements on how to protect the city better while working hand-to-hand with the heroes, so far nobody has suspected that this Spider-Man they're talking to is really Kid Arachnid in disguise going in the real Spider-Man's place.
"Due to the rise of supervillains in the past two years, protecting the city has become very difficult for the NYPD to handle alone, now with few Inhumans joining the ranks of criminals, things are looking to get worse. This is way out of the NYPD's capacity to handle. Spider-Man, how could we handle dealing with beings with superpowers?" Yuri Watanabe said.
"Well... I... would suggest requisitioning specialized tools needed to combat and contain them." Spider-Man/Miles said.
"And where might we get such tools?" Jefferson Davis said.
"Perhaps Stark Industries, they pretty much supply S.H.I.E.L.D. with such tools." Spider-Man/Miles said.
"And no doubt they're expensive too, our police budget is pretty low to buy such things. I'll ask the mayor for more funding and see if we could acquire them for future threats." Yuri Watanabe said.
"If may I intervene?" Misty Knight raised her hand as she's about to introduce herself." Lieutenant Mercedes Knight of the Harlem Precinct, people call me Misty."
"Nice to meet you, Lieutenant Knight." Spider-Man/Miles said.
"What about expanding protection to the five boroughs with the help of your team? There are other communities besides Manhattan that needs heroes to protect the neighborhood, including my neighborhood, Harlem is still struggling with crime." Misty Knight said.
"There's only three of us and we can't cover too much territory at the same time." Spider-Man/Miles said.
"What about having more heroes besides you? I heard that Hell's Kitchen has its own defender, this Devil Man." Misty Knight said.
"You mean Daredevil?" Spider-Man/Miles said.
"Yeah, that's it." Misty Knight said.
"There are some heroes who like to protect neighborhoods like him, but there aren't many of them in New York. If we learned anything in the past two years, more heroes are on the rise too. Be patient, if there are more heroes out there, I'm sure they'll show themselves in time." Spider-Man/Miles said.
"Fair enough, let's continue..." Yuri Watanabe said.
At the mayoral debate, mayoral candidates Bill Hollister and J Jonah Jameson are debating against one another in front of the crowd, Peter is with Betty and Robbie listening to Jameson's debate against Bill talking about the heroes' presence in the city, but the District Attorney counters with how much they've contributed for this city, Peter doesn't like getting the middle of politics as he's a warrior above all, all he can hope for is whoever wins the election do what's best for the city.
"For over two years, a number of damages done to this city has been ongoing since Spider-Man has been active, costing the city so much money." Jameson said.
"With all due respect, Jameson, there's this company called Damage Control that specialize in fixing damages caused by the battle between superpower individuals, and let's not forget that if it wasn't for these heroes, this city would've died out long time ago, we should be fortunate we even have heroes to protect us. Let's not forget that it's thanks to Spider-Man, crime has gone down, not to mention he helped bring down Wilson Fisk, the criminal known as the Kingpin, the very same man who wanted to become mayor, our city would've been completely taken over by a crime lord." Bill Hollister said.
"What about those two world ending events that occurred here in the past two years, the first time New York was invade by giant snowmen, the second time by psycho robots, it seems like they've turned New York into a battlefield for all sorts of events, so many innocent lives have been lost during those events too. Does it look like they're making the world safe?" Jameson said.
"No one saw it coming, nobody has control over what could happen here, we can't blame the heroes for failing to prevent it." Bill Hollister said.
"But they're not doing better to make New York more safer for our people and our children, a number of people have already left this city to escape from all the chaos that keeps on occurring here." Jameson said.
"Are you saying that it's better not to have heroes here protecting us?" Bill Hollister said.
"No, I'm saying there should be accountability for all the damage they've done." Jameson said.
Peter had to listen to all this debate about all the good and bad the heroes have done for this city, he knows that he's partly to blame for bringing war to this city the first time when he helped Thor dethrone Loki, in spite of all the good he had done, there had been unintended consequences for his actions, he couldn't see that Loki retaliated and brought the war to Earth because of him, many lives were lost that day. But he knows if it wasn't for him and the Avengers, this city along with the world would've ended couple years ago, a lot of people are grateful to the heroes for defending them despite all the losses.
Back at F.E.A.S.T., Gwen Stacy dressed as Spider-Man is speaking to the crowd, unaware that the real Spider-Man is elsewhere, she's taken his place here, making an appearance for charity, May is impressed with the efforts Gwen is making as Spider-Man, Mary Jane is also impressed.
"I know that this shelter was once built by a man who lived a double life, no one suspected that he was a crime lord who once ruled the criminal underworld in Hong Kong and seek to do the same here, but this place has done so much good because it has good people like May Parker who is willing to lend a hand to the homeless, this place is worth saving, so I ask you on behalf of F.E.A.S.T. to help save it." Spider-Man/Gwen said.
The whole crowd clapped their hands after hearing Spider-Man saying everything needed to say, the philanthropists are impressed, May and Mary Jane are clapping their hands together, but Spider-Man's sense tingles as danger is here, the crowd's cheers came to an end as they scattered away by the unexpected presence of Kraven the Hunter, Spider-Man jump off the podium to confront Kraven.
"Spider-Man, we meet again." Kraven said.
"Kraven." Spider-Man/Gwen said.
But she was wrong, it's not just Kraven, but two more hunters standing beside him, dressed like him.
"Friends of yours?" Spider-Man/Gwen said.
"Family, my son Alexei and my daughter Anastasia." Kraven said.
"Oh, okay, Kraven and his spawns. What is this? Bring you child to work day?" Spider-Man/Gwen said.
"You jest as always, enjoy it while you can, cause we're here to collect our trophy by taking your head." Kraven pulls out a knife.
"Just try." Spider-Man/Gwen dares Kraven.
Alexei pulls out a bow from his quiver and fired an arrow towards Spider-Man who jumped up and fired back with a web shot to Alexei's face, but Ana came in swinging her machete, Spider-Man does the backflip to dodge the blade swing, Spider-Man realized that her opponent is just as strong as she is, she's definitely an enhanced, meanwhile Alexei pulls off the webbing from his face and sees his sister engaged in combat, he grabs a bola from his belt and waits for the opportunity to toss it. Ana swings her machete, but Spider-Man kicks it off her hand and fired a web line, she pulls Ana in for a flying knee, Alexei took the opportunity to toss the bola, Spider-Man's senses tingles as she pulled Ana into the path of the bola and she got wrapped up instead of Spidey.
"ALEXEI!" Ana is tied up and angry.
"My bad!" Alexei felt guilty.
Spider-Man fired a web grenade at Alexei as it blew up and engulfed the supervillain.
"Thanks for that." Spider-Man/Gwen said.
Both of Kraven's spawns are taken down easily, but Spider-man was distracted as Kraven came in for a tackle and pushed her down to the ground, he then punch Spidey hard in the face, knocking her out cold unable to fight back, Kraven pulls out his knife and held it against Spider-Man's neck to decapitate the head, Mary Jane is hiding nearby to see her friend is in serious danger.
"I've waited a long time for this moment, now to claim my trophy." Kraven threatens Spider-Man's life.
Kraven got hit hard in the head by a trash can lid, Kraven fell down and recovers to see his attacker, a red haired teenage girl named Mary Jane, she just saved Gwen's life.
"Stay away from Spidey!" Mary Jane holding the lid.
"How dare yo..." Kraven froze up upon realizing something familiar about her. "Wait... I know you... you're that girl I ran into years ago, the one who had that Spider's scent."
Spider-Man is starting to wake up but still feeling fuzzy in the head, Kraven then heard police sirens coming in and spotted Spider-Man getting back up still weaken, his children are still tied up, he had to make a choice, he has a plan for the girl.
"You... you're coming with me." Kraven said.
Kraven kicks off the lid from Mary Jane's hand and quickly gets back up, he took her and carried her on his shoulder, Mary Jane is struggling to get freed.
"Let me go!" Mary Jane slamming her fists on Kraven's back and kicking her feet.
Kraven still carrying Mary Jane on his shoulder, he used his knife to cut the bola off from Ana and the webbing from Alexei.
"Let's go!' Kraven said.
"What about him?" Alexei said.
"Don't worry, the hunt is still on, I have a plan." Kraven said.
Ana and Alexei has no idea what their father has plan with the girl, but the sirens are getting closer as they all retreated with their hostage, Spider-Man got back up to see Kraven has escape with Mary Jane as his hostage, she failed to stop the Kravens.
"No... Mary Jane..." Spider-Man/Gwen said.
Back at One Police Plaza, Miles Morales as Spider-Man is still discussing strategies with the higher ups of the New York Police Department, the secretary steps into the meeting and walks up to Captain Watanabe as she whispers some bad news, Yuri became shocked to hear what just happened recently, Spidey noticed it from Yuri's expression on her face.
"I'm afraid we'll have to cut this meeting short, there's been a development in Chinatown." Yuri Watanabe said.
"What's going on?" Spider-Man/Miles said.
"Kraven the Hunter just recently surfaced, he attacked F.E.A.S.T.." Yuri Watanabe said.
"F.E.A.S.T.? Is everyone alright?" Spider-Man/Miles said.
"No one got hurt luckily, but..." Yuri Watanabe said.
"But what?" Spider-Man/Miles said.
"They have a hostage... her name is Mary Jane Watson." Yuri Watanabe said.
Spider-Man is stunned to find out that Mary Jane has been kidnapped by Kraven the Hunter, her life is in danger, he must do something to save her.
At the same time at the mayoral debate, the candidates just finished debating with each other, Peter is with Betty and Robbie taking photos of Jameson greeting his supporters, all of a sudden his phone is vibrating, he stopped taking photos to pull it out to see his Aunt May is calling him several times, but he couldn't hear it during the debate, he answered the call and checks what so urgent, he held it to his ear.
"Hey Aunt May, sorry I didn't get your call earlier, the debate is just finished." Peter said.
"Peter, Mary Jane has been kidnapped! He took her!" May said.
Peter became stunned to hear Mary Jane. "Who took her?"
"Kraven, he has Mary Jane!" May said with a very worried voice.
"Okay, I'm on it!" Peter hangs up the phone.
"What's wrong, Pete?" Betty noticed something.
"I have to go, something terrible has happened at F.E.A.S.T." Peter said before leaving Betty.
Peter walks up to Jameson still talking to his supporters.
"Jameson, I'm sorry to interrupt, but..." Peter said.
"But what, Parker?" Jameson said.
"I'm sorry to bail, but I have to go, there's trouble at F.E.A.S.T., my friend has been kidnapped." Peter said.
Jameson is stunned by this, but understands Peter's situation. "Alright, go!"
Jameson gave Peter permission to leave, Peter makes his way out of the building, eventually he made it outside and made his way to an alleyway, he takes off his clothes concealing his Spider-Man suit underneath.
It's 5:02 PM in the Bronx at the warehouse where the Kravinoffs took refuge, Mary Jane is tied up to a chair as Alexei and Ana are confused as to why their father brought this girl here and why they were forced to leave Spider-Man behind.
"I don't understand, father, why couldn't we finish off Spider-Man while we had the chance?" Alexei said.
"We were at a huge disadvantage at the time, the police were coming and we can't fight everyone at once. Besides, this girl is the key to bringing us the Spider." Kraven said.
Kraven walks up to Mary Jane still tied up as he something to ask her.
"How are you feeling?" Kraven said.
"I'm tied up, how'd you think I'm feeling?" Mary Jane is displeased.
"I apologize for taking such extreme measure, but it's necessary, after all, you're friends with the Spider." Kraven said.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Mary Jane acting clueless.
"Yes, you do, I still remember that day from two years ago, the day I hunted for the spider at that school, you had his scent, I still remember your face. You know who he is underneath that mask, don't you? Spider-Man... who is he?" Kraven is curious.
"Do what you must, I'll never talk." Mary Jane being brave.
"I believe you." Kraven said.
"Besides, you don't have to find him, he'll find you." Mary Jane said.
"That's what I'm counting on, he'll come for you." Kraven walks away from Mary Jane.
Kraven walks towards Ana and Alexei.
"What's the plan, father?" Ana said.
"Get twigs, lots and lots of twigs." Kraven smiled as he's got something in mind.
Later around 8:23 PM in Manhattan as the sun is starting to set down and nighttime is coming, Spider-Man is still swinging around the city for hours trying to find and rescue Mary Jane from the clutches of Kraven the Hunter, but so far he's had no such luck in the search, he eventually landed on a rooftop to take a break from all the swinging he's been doing, searching tirelessly for Mary Jane with no leads.
Spider-Man/Peter sighed. "Mary Jane, where could you be?"
Spider-Man then noticed something burning on a rooftop, he swings in closer towards that rooftop, he saw a burning twig shaped like a spider burning, just like the one Kraven set the first time to signal Spider-Man, but he looks to see another burning twigs on another rooftop far from the one he's on right now.
"Spider signals, Kraven leaving me a breadcrumb trail for me to follow, very clever." Spider-Man/Peter said.
Spider-Man jumps off the rooftop and swings to follow the spider signals burning up on rooftops to follow them to Kraven's hideout and to Mary Jane. Meanwhile back on that same rooftop Spider-Man was just on, another Spider-Man came up to see the burning spider signal, this one is Miles Morales.
"Huh? A Spider-Signal, very clever, guess I should follow it." Spider-Man/Miles said.
The second Spider-Man jumps off the rooftop following the spider signal trail Kraven is leaving over the city from him to follow, back on the same rooftop is another Spider-Man, Gwen Stacy looks up at the burning spider and sees another one across another rooftop, it's a trail. She jumps off and swings across to follow the trail hoping it'll lead her to her friend Mary Jane.
"Hang in there, Mary Jane, I'm coming." Spider-Man/Gwen still swinging.
Around 8:57 PM in the Bronx, Mary Jane is still tied up to the chair all alone as she knows that Kraven is using her as bait to lure Spider-Man into a trap, the whole warehouse is rigged with all sorts of traps hidden for Spider-Man, outside of the warehouse, each of the Kravinoffs are keeping watch from a distance as to not spook the hero, at one corner, Kraven is armed with a spear watching with binoculars, far from the warehouse on a rooftop, Ana is taking up sniper position armed with a hunting rifle waiting to take the shot, at another corner on the ground is Alexei armed with a crossbow hiding and waiting, Ana is looking through the scope and still no sign of Spider-Man.
Ana uses a walkie. "Still no sign of Spider-Man."
"Patience Ana, patience, sometimes you must wait and let your prey come to take the bait. Spider-Man has a code of honor, he won't let anyone come to harm, especially her, if what I suspect is true, he'll come for her." Kraven said.
Ana then spotted something coming into view, she then looks through the scope to see Spider-Man has landed on the rooftop and attempting to make his way inside from the roof hatch.
Ana talks through the walkie. "I got eyes on Spider-Man."
Alexei is on the ground to see Spider-Man swinging from the one side of the street and landed down on the ground, he enters through the side door unaware that he's being watched, Alexei is confused as his sister said Spider-Man is on the roof.
"That can't be, Spider-Man is in my sights, he's entering through the door." Alexei said.
Kraven is confused hearing that Spider-Man is coming in from two ways, but his biggest surprise is another Spider-Man coming in swing from another side of the street, he made it down and approach the main entrance of the warehouse, this whole thing is confusing Kraven even more. Inside the warehouse, the first Spider-Man repels down from the ceiling carefully, he spotted Mary Jane down on the ground tied to a chair. At one side of the building, another Spider-Man came through the side door and carefully avoids some traps in his path and trying to avoid detection. Coming in from the entrance, the third Spider-Man make her way inside as she spotted a few trip wires and some crossbows in place. The first Spider-Man finally jumped down and landed in a three point stance right in front of Mary Jane, she got spooked, but coming out from the corner is another Spider-Man, and from another is a third Spider-Man, all three Spider-Man converged together at the same time and each got stunned seeing one another.
"What the? You?!" Spider-Man points to one Spider-Man and points to another. "And you?!"
All three Spider-Men are pointing at one another saying "YOU?!", the Kravens came into to find three Spider-Men here at the same time pointing at each other making him even more confused by this whole situation. All three Spider-Man stopped pointing and turned to face against the Kraven and his spawns.
"Three Spider-Men?" Ana is confused.
"What the hell is going on here?" Kraven said.
"Don't look at me, I'm just as confused as you are." Spider-Man/Peter said.
"Doesn't matter, now you got three Spider-Men to deal with." Spider-Man/Miles said.
"What he said, it's just us Spider-Men versus the Kravens. What are you going to do now?" Spider-Man/Gwen said.
"That's easy, we'll just kill you all." Kraven said.
The Kravens all charged at the heroes as the Spider-Men all did the same, Spider-Man/Peter jumps down for a drop kick on Ana, but the female hunter rolled over and dodged the attack, she pulls out her machete and started swinging. Alexei aims his crossbow and fired off some bolts at Spider-Man/Gwen who does some backflips dodging the incoming bolts. Kraven is swinging his knife trying to cut Spider-Man/Miles, the hero does some maneuvers avoiding the blade cut, Mary Jane is still tied up watching the fight between the Spider-Men and the Kravens, even she's having troubling telling who is who since all three Spider-Man are dressed exactly the same. Spider-Man/Miles kicked off the knife from Kraven's hand, the hunter resorted by tackling down the hero.
"You must be the real Spider-Man!" Kraven pinned down Spider-Man/Miles.
"Wrong guess!" Spider-Man/Miles punched Kraven in the chin.
Alexei pinned Spider-Man/Gwen to the wall. "Who are you supposed to be?"
Spider-Man/Gwen giggled. "Can't you guess? I'm Spider-Man."
Spider-Man/Gwen headbutts Alexei's head, breaking his nose, she then pushed kick him hard. Ana tossed a smoke bomb down on the floor releasing smoke into the air, Spider-Man/Peter can't see anything in the smoke, he resorted to closing his eyes and relying on his spider sense to navigate his surroundings, Ana is coming in through the smoke with her machete, Spider-Man/Peter spins and does the spinning heel kick to her head, knocking her out cold. Alexei is still trying to hit Spider-Man/Gwen with his crossbow, but the female hero counters by firing webbing and shot the crossbow off Alexei's hands, she came in and executed a hurricanrana upon the villain, she knocked him down on the ground and webbed him down for good measure. Spider-Man/Miles is still engaged in combat against Kraven who kicked him down with a push kick and gaining the upper hand, the hero suddenly disappears right before Kraven's eyes and turned invisible, Kraven then uses his nose to pick up his scent.
"So you're the spider who can camouflage himself, impressive. You can hide your presence..." Kraven then strikes with a punch and hits Spider-Man/Miles still cloaked until he appears. "But not your scent."
Spider-Man/Miles gets back up on his feet. "Then you must know what else I can do."
Spider-Man/Miles strikes back with a fist charged with venom blast and hits Kraven in the gut, sending him flying towards some crates. Kraven is still conscious as he could see his two children captured by the heroes, police sirens are screaming nearby as they're getting closer, Kraven is at a huge disadvantage facing against the three Spider-Men alone without his children to back him up.
"Father, you must leave us and go!" Alexei said.
"I won't leave you!" Kraven refused.
"You must! Live to hunt another day, go!" Ana said.
Kraven is feeling conflicted as to whether to stay and help free his children, but the heroes are all that stand in his way of saving them and he's no match against all three of them by himself, Kraven is reluctant to leave them behind, but he has to. The three Spider-Men all ran after him but Kraven tossed a flash bomb and it blew up, disrupting their senses in that moment, Kraven took the opportunity to escape capture. The heroes recovered their senses and sees that Kraven has escaped once again.
"He's gone, again." Spider-Man/Gwen said.
"Don't worry, we'll get him another time. For now, let's just help MJ." Spider-Man/Peter said.
"HEY! Is someone going to untie me?!" Mary Jane still tied up.
"Coming!" All three Spider-Men said in unison.
Mary Jane saw three Spider-Men rushing towards her as they've started to help untie Mary Jane from her chair, Mary Jane looks at her three saviors all dressed exactly the same and came to her rescue.
"Thanks, never imagine that it would take three Spider-Men to rescue me." Mary Jane is grateful.
"Yeah, neither did I." Spider-Man/Peter said.
All of a sudden, the police are outside of the warehouse.
"You two should go, I'll stay here and explain things. And again, thanks for all your help." Spider-Man/Peter said.
"Anytime, Pete." Spider-Man/Gwen said.
"Yeah, us Spiders stick together." Spider-Man/Miles said.
The two Spider-Men quickly swinging away from the warehouse, leaving the original Spider-Man here with Mary Jane and the captured Kravinoffs for the police to take into custody, the police entered the warehouse to find Spider-Man with Mary Jane Watson and the two accomplices responsible for kidnapping her with Kraven still on the loose.
It's around 9:39 PM at the Spider-Cave where Miles and Gwen are still dressed in Spider-Man suits with Ganke Lee watching the news on the supercomputer of Spider-Man's accomplishment on rescuing Mary Jane Watson and taking down two of Kraven's accomplices while the main hunter himself is still at large.
"Earlier today, Kraven and two accomplices attack the homeless shelter hosting a fundraiser and took Mary Jane Watson hostage, fortunately thanks to Spider-Man, Ms. Watson was saved and the two criminals aiding Kraven are taken into custody, Kraven the Hunter is still at large and being hunted."
Coming into the Spider-Cave, Peter dressed as Spider-Man is carrying boxes of pizza with Mary Jane to celebrate their success.
"Hey Spidies, Pizza." Peter holding up the boxes.
"Oh, thank god, we're starving." Miles said.
"It's the least I can do for my friends for filling in my shoes." Peter said.
Peter puts the boxes on the table as everyone gather around to get a slice.
"So how did it go at the shelter?" Peter said.
"I heard back from your aunt, thanks to Spider-Man's words, the shelter receive quite a donation from several benefactors." Gwen said.
"That's great, I'm glad Spider-Man was quite helpful in saving the shelter, my aunt would be happy thanks to you, Gwen." Peter said.
Gwen blushed until she turned to Miles . "How about you, Miles? How was the police conference?"
"I think I made quite an impression, the NYPD is taking my advice in improving protecting the community. How was the debate, Pete?" Miles said.
"Quite boring, I'm afraid. Just listening to politicians throwing themselves at one another, but at least I got paid for the photos I took, received quite a bonus." Peter holds up a check.
"I guess everything worked out in the end." Ganke Lee said.
"But seriously, thank you Gwen, Miles, for everything you did. Here's to us, Spider-Men... and woman." Peter said.
"Good one, Pete." Gwen said.
Everyone cheers and ate their slices of pizza to celebrate.
"By the way, what will become of Kraven? He's still out there." Mary Jane said.
"I know, I doubt he'll be stupid enough to make a move anytime soon. But we'll catch him eventually, if he ever does come back, we'll be ready." Peter said.
Meanwhile somewhere in the docks of Brooklyn, Kraven the Hunter managed to evade the NYPD, but he's still being hunted, he's slams his fist on the wall disappointed that his children have been arrested instead of him, but he then heard something coming out of the shadows as he quickly pulls out his knife.
"Who dares to provoke a hunter? Show yourself?!" Kraven holding a knife.
Chameleon coming out of the shadows. "Hello brother, it's been a long time."
"Dmitri... why are you here?" Kraven said.
"I heard that my niece and nephew got themselves into some serious trouble." Chameleon taunts.
Kraven felt provoked and pinned Chameleon to the wall in anger, holding a knife against his neck. "You dare to mock my children, Dmitri?!"
"Easy... I didn't come to mock, if anything, my employer has an offer for you, the kind you'll be interested in." Chameleon holds up a phone.
"Hello again, Kraven." Doctor Octopus is on FaceTime.
"You?" Kraven said.
"Last time we talked, you said you had your children to help you in the hunt. How'd that work out?" Doctor Octopus on FaceTime.
"Get to the point, what do you want?" Kraven said.
"I can help you get your son and daughter back, if you can help me with my grand plan. If we succeed, then we all win, that is if you're interested." Doctor Octopus on FaceTime.
Kraven remains calm. "What is this grand plan of yours?"
Doctor Octopus smiles on the screen. "The Ends of the Earth."
